Tsukihime characters are back in PSO2 New Genesis thanks to a new Melty Blood: Type Lumina crossover event. There is a login bonus that nets some free rewards, as well as a new AC Scratch Ticket: Melty Blood Style '24 gacha with avatar items and cosmetics. Both start on December 4, 2024.
The Melty Blood: Type Lumina login event spans seven days. So say on the first day, you get BP and the Shiki Tohno Acrylic Stand. Each day involves rewards like the Shiki, Akiha Tohno, Arcueid, Arima Miyako, Ciel, Dead Apostle Noel, Neco-Arc, and Powered Ciel acrylic stand parts, SG, GP, and Special Scratch Tickets.

The focus of the AC Scratch Ticket: Melty Blood Style '24 is on Dead Apostle Noel, Miyako, and Powered Ciel. Weapon camos for all three of their weapons will also be available there. The in-game Line Strike card game will also get new cards and cosmetics in it, and Neco-Arc makes an appearance.

It's been quite some time since we've seen Tsukihime characters found in Melty Blood: Type Lumina show up in PSO2 New Genesis. The original crossover came up back in October 2022. When that happened, it involved an AC Scratch Ticket banner. We could get Melty Blood Style attire that would let us dress up our avatars as Akiha, Arcueid, Ciel, and Shiki if we got the right parts. A Melty Blood: Fight emote, weapon camo, and stamps also appeared as part of that.

Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis is available on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC worldwide, with an additional Nintendo Switch version out in Japan. Sony revealed the release of My First Gran Turismo, a free game set to release on December 6, 2024. It is a stripped-down version of Gran Turismo 7 designed to introduce newcomers to the series. It will be for the PS4 and PS5.
My First Gran Turismo features a handful of modes. The License Center features the license challenges from Gran Turismo 7, designed to introduce new players to the mechanics of the game. There are also three tracks to try out different race modes on: Kyoto Driving Park, Deep Forest Raceway and Trial Mountain. Players can try out standard races, time trials and the special Music Rally modes on each of these tracks.
The game will also feature 18 cars to play around with in these modes. Cars featured in the trailer include the 1974 Lamborghini Countach LP400, the 1992 Honda NSX Type R and 2003 Audi TT Coupe 2.3 Quattro. These cars will all need to be unlocked through gameplay, and a special reward is promised if all the cars are obtained. Encyclopedia entries are also available to provide history and context for each vehicle.

While advertised as a new game, this is actually an extended demo for Gran Turismo 7. It's been designed to simplify the experience for new players who may feel overwhelmed by complex tuning options and letting them experience the driving mechanics immediately. For anyone convinced to buy the full game, all 18 cars unlocked in the game can be transferred over. This is the latest attempt to get new players into the game, along with collaborations with popular Vtubers such as Inugami Korone.

Marvel and Shonen Jump have collaborated on an art exchange in celebration of the final volume of My Hero Academia. Two pieces were produced featuring My Hero Academia and Marvel Spider-Man characters together.
The first piece in the art exchange is from My Hero Academia creator Kohei Horikoshi. It's a picture of Spider-Man featuring Izuku Midoriya and All Might standing behind him. The second art piece comes from Marvel artists Humberto Ramos and Edgar Delgado, this time featuring Black Cat surrounded by heroines from the manga, including Mt Lady, Star and Stripe, Ochaco Uraraka, Tsuyu Asui, Momo Yaoyorozu, Setsuna Tokage and Mirko.
The collaboration came about because of how much of an inspiration Marvel was to Horikoshi. With My Hero Academia coming to end, Marvel chose to honor the occasion with an art exchange. The goal is to celebrate comics around the world and bring fans of both properties together. Horikoshi stated his decision to focus on Spider-Man for his part in the exchange was based on the webslinger being his introduction to superheroes. He remains Horikoshi's favorite hero to this day.
As part of the reveal, Horikoshi was asked if he had any plans for the future. While he had no major reveals, he did state that he was beginning work on a new project. He will act as writer and illustrator again, although he initially wanted to hand writing duties to someone else. He changed his mind on advice from his editor.
The final chapter of My Hero Academia first appeared on August 5, 2024 and the final collected volume of the series has just been released in Japan.
The final volume of My Hero Academia is available now in Japan. An release date for an English translation has not yet been confirmed.

Bandai Namco not only confirmed the Bleach Rebirth of Souls release date, but also noted that Sosuke Aizen and Shigekuni Genryusai Yamamoto will appear as playable characters and we'll see DLC. The game launches on March 21, 2025. That's also when the Bleach Rebirth of Souls Deluxe Edition and Ultimate Edition debuts. There is also an offer in effect that gets us Toushiro Hitsugaya and Yoruichi Shihoin costumes if we pre-order.
Here's the Bleach Rebirth of Souls release date trailer, which brings up the war on the Ryoka and shows both Aizen and Yamamoto. It begins by declaring the war, then showing how Ichigo is going to save Rukia from being executed. We then see how the game will recreate events from the first arcs of the game. This means Ichigo, Uryu, Renji, and Byakuya feature prominently. However, many folks from Soul Society show up. While the story portion of the trailer focuses on the past, the looks at Aizen show he will look as he did once the Hueco Mundo arc came up.
That trailer confirmed there will be both Deluxe Edition and Ultimate Edition versions of Bleach Rebirth of Souls. The Deluxe one nets people Soul Crystals and includes the Season Pass. That will eventually mean four more characters join the cast. As a perk for having that, you get access to each one a week before they launch of all players. The Ultimate Edition has everyone in the Deluxe version, but adds a five costume set, more Thousand-Year Blood War arc outfits for five characters, and more Soul Crystals.
Finally, the end of the trailer showed how the Hitsugaya and Yoruichi Thousand-Year Blood War outfits look. You can see them below:
Bleach Rebirth of Souls will come to the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and the release date is March 21, 2025. Infold Games shared six Infinity Nikki costumes ahead of launch, with some of the costumes being Ability Outfit types. There's even a trailer for the 1.0 Exploration Season five-star outfit Flutter Storm.
The Flutter Storm outfit in Infinity Nikki has a ballgown appearance. It also is accompanied by a butterfly motif, with magical butterflies appearing alongside the character when it is worn. The video shows Nikki wearing it in multiple locations. However, it doesn't show if there is an ability tied to it.
When it comes to the other Infinity Nikki Ability and Miracle Outfit options, there are both screenshots and YouTube Shorts showing how these look. In some cases, we also know how to get them. Here's the full list of newly revealed outfits:

The EVO Japan games lineup has been announced for 2025. In addition, registration is now open for those who are able to head to Japan and take part in the event.
EVO Japan 2025 will take place on May 9-11, 2025 at Tokyo Big Sight, and will feature five games in the main competition, along with two games for a new 5-on-5 team battle competition. The total prize pool will total 15 million yen.

The presence of Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. is notable, as this version of the game was only recently announced and is currently unavailable. It is set for release "this Winter" and players of existing copies of Virtua Fighter 5 should receive changes from this version, although there is no concrete release date yet. However, its presence on the EVO Japan 2025 lineup suggests it will appear within the next few months.
Registration for EVO Japan 2025 is now open, with a new process separating attendees and competitors. This was done to avoid confusion of previous shows. Spectators can order their tickets through the EVO Japan website, while competitors will also need to register through start.gg. Entrants looking to enter the 5-on-5 competitions will need to form a team through the site before registration too Registration is open until April 6, 2025.
EVO Japan 2025 will be held at Tokyo Big Sight on May 9-11, 2025.

The English voice actor for Tingyun changed in the Honkai: Star Rail 2.7 update. This move applies to both the existing four-star version and upcoming five-star one named Fugue.
The new actress behind the character is Anya Floris, and the official website for the game updated to attribute the role to her. She shows up as Tingyun under Xianzhou Alliance. The official patch notes went over the change, but didn't mention a reason. It only noted a new actor for the four-star Harmony version of the character. This change also applies to the new one.
Originally, before being changed, the Tingyun voice actor for Honkai: Star Rail was Laci Morgan. She's appeared in a number of video games before. Some of them include portrayals of Quiry in Goddess of Victory: NIKKE and multiple characters in Shadowverse.
Meanwhile, Anya Floris should sound familiar. In addition to playing Tingyun, she recently was featured in the Inti Creates game Card-en-Ciel as characters like Cela. She also sang the Chocobo GP theme song.
This isn't the first time a voice actor changed for a major character in Honkai: Star Rail. It happened for both Argenti and Huohuo's partner Mr. Tail. Both were voiced by Adam Michael Gold, then the voices changed. As part of this update, voices for some characters like Himeko and Robin disappeared in new story segments.
Tingyun has been a fixture in the game since launch. However, due to events of the story, she hasn't been prominently featured in many patches. The 2.7 storyline marks the return of her playing a part in current events in Honkai: Star Rail again.
Honkai: Star Rail is available for the PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the new Tingyun voice actor lines for both the four and five-star versions of the character appear as of 2.7.

Square Enix opened pre-orders for the new Play Arts Shin figure of Vincent Valentine from FFVII Rebirth. The figure costs 23,100 yen (or approximately $154.11) and is expected to release in Japan on August 30, 2025. It is also the first Play Arts Shin model. It will launch worldwide in November 2025 for $199.99.
The new Vincent figure is articulated and its range of movement has been upgraded from the Play Arts Kai line. In addition, the eyeballs of the figure can be moved to make the character look in different directions as one of the gimmicks of the new Play Arts Shin brand. Furthermore, the new Vincent Valentine figure also includes several interchangeable parts, such as two sets of hands, his signature gun, as well as a base. Vincent's cape is also made of real cloth.

The new Vincent Valentine figure was recently announced on November 22, 2024 as the first one in the newly unveiled Play Arts Shin brand. Meanwhile, the Play Arts Kai line will continue to receive other FFVII Rebirth figures of Yuffie, Aerith, and Elena throughout 2025.
The FFVII Rebirth Play Arts Shin figure of Vincent Valentine is now available to pre-order from the Square Enix online e-store and worldwide storefront. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is readily available for the PlayStation 5.
