Concord release date, upcoming beta, trailers, and more

When is the Concord release date? Originally revealed in May 2023, we got our first look at Firewalk Studios' 5v5 shooter, Concord almost exactly one year later at Sony's State of Play. Bearing a similar style to Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, players take command of the Northstar crew, a mercenary 'guns-for-hire' group known as Freegunners.

There are plenty of Freegunners groups out there, all of them searching for risky jobs that pay well. It's up to your crew to stop them in their tracks, while earning a huge paycheck in the process. Concord gives you the freedom to pick the perfect set of soldiers to form the strongest crew available in the space game. However, with new updates set to add new Freegunners to the multiplayer game, you can expect the meta to shift regularly. Here's everything you need to know about Concord's release date, as well as the upcoming beta, the cast of characters, and more.

Intel's new chip could seriously threaten AMD and the Steam Deck

Intel has just announced a new chip that has the potential to completely transform the PC gaming handheld market. It's called Intel Lunar Lake, and it not only gives you eight CPU cores, but also a gaming GPU with ray tracing, an AI processor, and 32GB of DDR5 RAM, all in one package.

There haven't been many handheld gaming PC devices based on Intel hardware yet, with the MSI Claw being a notable exception. All the current handheld front runners, including the Steam Deck and Asus ROG Ally X, use AMD hardware at the moment. However, Intel Lunar Lake, which we just saw the company announce at Computex, has the potential to change this situation.

Is MultiVersus down? Warner Bros new fighting game has been in beta for a long time but has finally launched into its full version. Despite reaching some colossal numbers on Steam, the game has hit some teething issues on its first day, with many players reporting server issues and connectivity problems.

If you've been experiencing issues trying to play MultiVersus you might be wondering if it's the game itself which is having problems or if it's a local issue you may need to troubleshoot. The fighting game has just launched and like many online games it does appear to be struggling a little as players log on.      All Destiny DLC in order

What order should you play the Destiny DLC in? Bungie's space shooter has a storied history, and if a certain ten-hour recap video from the community's so-called Lore Daddy is anything to go by, a lot has happened in over the years. Bungie has released 12 expansions over two different games, with additional content packs to be enjoyed, too.

Whether you prefer the golden days of Destiny 1, or the modern additions to Destiny 2, there's plenty on offer across both games to get stuck in and enjoy. The beauty of Bungie's space game is you don't need to play the DLC in any specific order, although if you're a lore nerd like me you may want to go chronologically. Here's all of the DLC for the Destiny series along with a short recap of their events, with no major spoilers.

Best Killer Klowns from Outer Space Klowns, weapons, and tricks

What are the best Klown builds in Killer Klowns from Outer Space? Success in any asymmetrical multiplayer game comes down to a combination of your own skill and in-game abilities. You might be great at Dead By Daylight or Texas Chainsaw Massacre, but you're better with the right perks. Killer Klowns likewise need their tricks.

The great thing about the titular killers in Killer Klowns from Outer Space the Game is that they are almost entirely customizable. Your base killer model is determined by your Klown type, which also affects your stats, and there are preset loadouts for each. However, once you've unlocked all weapons in the multiplayer game, any Klown type can use any cotton candy gun, secondary weapon, and tricks, leaving it entirely up to you which you use. Below, we've ranked the best KKfOS weapons, Klowns, and tricks for you to put together.

How Killer Klowns from Outer Space voice chat works

How does KKfOS proximity chat work? Killer Klowns from Outer Space is a unique asymmetrical multiplayer game in that there are a total of ten players per match: three Killer Klowns and seven Humans. These huge lobby sizes make co-operation all the more important.

In any multiplayer game, the key to success is working with other players. At first, it can be quite hard to understand how to do this in Killer Klowns from Outer Space as you might see the names of other team players popping up on your screen. If you're wondering why and how this affects your ability to make it out of KKfOS exits alive, or take down Humans with the element of surprise, here's how KKfOS voice chat works.

All Killer Klowns from Outer Space exits and how to escape

What are all the exits in Killer Klowns from Outer Space The Game? As with any asymmetrical multiplayer game, the key is co-operation. With three killers and seven humans filling a lobby, both teams require solid teamwork in Killer Klowns from Outer Space. Depending on which team you're on, it's your mission to make it to, or stop humans reaching, any of the map's exits. We made it through each of the escape methods alive so we could tell you how to do it.

As one of the seven human player characters in the match, your only method of success is getting the hell out of the multiplayer game. While Killer Klowns from Outer Space is unique in that you can actually kill the Klowns, they're not out for long and respawn after 45 seconds, given you nothing more than a bit of a breather. So, as your only means of survival, here are each of the Killer Klowns from Outer Space exits and escape methods for you to familiarize yourself with.

Is Killer Klowns from Outer Space on Game Pass? The asymmetrical multiplayer game certainly isn't new, with the likes of Evolve and Left 4 Dead 2 influencing the genre, but it has started to blow up in recent years thanks to the success of Dead by Daylight.

Just Cause creators, Mad Max developers and Rage 2 co-developers Avalanche Studios have announced that they will lay off 50 developers - nine per cent of their global workforce - and close their New York, USA and Montreal, Canada studios in order to "ensure a stable and sustainable future for the company".

The announcement post doesn't go into much detail about either the reasons for the layoffs or how exactly Avalanche will be supporting the departing staff, adding only that "our focus is now on supporting all Avalanchers through this challenging time" and that "we're grateful for the invaluable contributions of those leaving and remain committed to creating incredible gaming experiences for our players."

Avalanche's Montreal studio had been open for all of eight months. The studio was founded in October 2023 after Avalanche acquired and integrated Monster Closet, who were themselves founded in 2021 by former developers of such headliners as Halo, Prince of Persia and Assassin's Creed. Avalanche's New York studio, meanwhile, dates back to 2011.

I was a diehard WipeOut player as a kid. Seriously, me and the boys used to roam the streets of Bradford looking for F-Zero players to bully, at least till the RollCagers rocked up and stole our lunch money. Mind you, I think I was probably less interested in WipeoUt's racing than its trackside landscapes, which remain exquisite decades on - all those sweeping album-cover facades with their animate fixtures that thickened and solidified into full-blown peripheral cities as the series progressed.

I am similarly hooked by the worlds of Ghosts Ehf's Phantom Spark, which are a million lightyears from WiPeout in terms of their influences and atmosphere, much as the underlying hover-jockeying is a million lightyears away from WipeouT in terms of its gentleness and lack of combative elements. But these spaces are just as mesmerising to fly through and think about when not focussed on finding the perfect line through the next corner, or avoiding a patch of grass. Small wonder, given that the game's art director is Joost Eggermont, whose streaking astral contraptions and "small interactive moments" I've long admired, but never managed to write about until now.

If you're SPOILER sensitive, please do not read this article. Just don't do it. I'll be talking about a bunch of stuff that's SPOILERY. But I'll obviously try and not be too spoilery for those who've decided to keep reading this, and hence, probably aren't as SPOILER sensitive. Right, onwards.

Life In Jars is this YouTuber I've followed for a while. He makes videos that might involve, say, scooping up some puddle water, leaving it in a sealed jar for a while, then coming back to it a few months later. He'll report on the results, which are often tremendous. Look at the LIFE in that jar! The little wriggly lads just wriggling around. The blobs whose job is to float and squidge indiscriminately. A lovely bit of fauna sloshing about there, like a forest dwelling for those who implement the five-second rule. It's a reminder that bog water is rather beautiful, actually.

Having spent three hours with Elden Ring expansion Shadow Of The Erdtree's opening area, I can't help but think of Life In Jars. What resides in the shadowy dome of the Big Tree is horrendous! Miserable! The forgotten creatures and their crumbling homes are grim. But oh my word, the shadows have spawned a beautiful disasterpiece. Just, errr, those other jars? The fun guys with the scoopy arms and little legs? Yeah. I have bad news.

I usually avoid writing sentences that could easily be quoted on a Steam page, but the exquisitely satisfying sound that Grunn's garden shears make is the exception. Please feel free to try any of these on for size: Grunn's shear sound is the Wilhelm Scream of gardening equipment, sure to be referenced for decades to come. Grunn's shear sound wormed its way past my eyes and into parts of my brain I'd previously assumed could only be accessed by either masterful ASMR or irresponsibly long Q-tips. I used to have anxiety, but now, my only fear in life is that Grunn's grass will run out, so I no longer have a reason to click away with its shears. Play Grunn, innit. There are, by the way, lots of other things to like about it, although I cannot hear them over the wonderful sound of these shears.

It's been one month since the sound of engines began. The hardest track ever created in Trackmania was published by a team of mappers on May 4th, bringing an intimidating 16-floor tower called Deep Dip 2 into the racing game. It became a magnet for competitive drivers after a prize pool of over $30,000 was offered to the first three players to conquer its hellish heights. The prize has yet to be claimed. Even today, determined racers continue to bang their heads against the brutally designed course, featuring icy surfaces, curving rails, and perilous loop-the-loops that hang kilometres about the ground. Some players have parked their hopes and given up. But others persevere. The top three players have reached the final floor and currently stand shoulder to shoulder, eyes focused on the prize.

If you heard loud swearing last night in the Watford area it may have been one of two things: 1) me cussing out my (borrowed) Steam Deck while stealthily accessing the wifi from outside a closed public library, as I don't currently have broadband at home, or 2) me subsequently trying to make head or tail of Mech Engineer, in which you take charge of a mobile undersea metropolis and send squads of painstakingly assembled robosoldiers to semi-auto-battle squidgy alien fauna.

Engineering a mech is a Herculean labour whose completion eludes today's puny scientists, and Mech Engineer doesn't aim to make life easier, whatever its putative status as a "means of fun". Mech Engineer is a game with an attitude problem, frankly. I realised this on in-game day two, when the interface coughed up a bunch of damage reports presented as pieces of paper, which I then had to crumple up and toss away individually.

More Free Beat Saber Songs Debut in Beat Saber OST 7

After a series of teaser videos that started appearing on May 24, 2024, Beat Games released more free Beat Saber songs via OST 7. Everyone who already owns the game (or picks it up going forward) will automatically have access to its tracks in their game library.

As this is a free assortment of songs, it's smaller than a paid track pack. People get access to five pieces to play through. Here are all of the songs now available:

  • "Damage" by F.O.O.L
  • "Lustre" by Camellia
  • "The Master" by Boom Kitty and Teminite
  • "Untamed" by Lindsey Stirling
  • "World Wide Web" by Nitro Fun

Here is the trailer for Beat Saber OST 7:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ylmi6hugXJ0

Both paid and free songs come to Beat Saber rather regularly. For example, the paid Hip Hop Music Pack launched in April 2024. A paid Daft Punk add-on appeared in March 2024. The free OST 6 songs launched in December 2023, and that included the Lindsey Stirling song "Heavy Weight."

Beat Saber is available for the Meta Quest 1, 2, 3, and Pro, the PS VR and PS VR2, and PC headsets via Steam, and the OST 7 songs are available now for free. As a reminder, the Meta Quest 1 version support ends on November 2, 2024.

Hololive Tsunomaki Watame in Sound Voltex Exceed Gear

Konami Amusement revealed that Sound Voltex Exceed Gear will have new in-game collaboration content based on hololive's Tsunomaki Watame. The company will permanently add four songs from the Japanese Vtuber to the game's lineup on June 6, 2024.

The four songs in question will be "Ai-mai Chocolate," "Donten Hitsuji / Cloudy Sheep," "My song," and "What an amazing swing." As a reminder, "Cloudy Sheep" was the collaborative song Watame made with hololive English's Calliope Mori. But due to some circumstances, Konami only mentions Watame and uses her solo artwork from the Watame no Uta vol.1 album.

At the same time, Konami will add unlockable content related to Watame at the Premium Generator. The lineup will feature a total of 30 items, which consist of 10 voiced stamps, 19 touch panel background movies, and Watame herself as an in-game Nemesis Crew. Unlike the songs, these items are only available until July 6, 2024.

In addition to in-game content, Konami will also hold a couple of Japan-exclusive sweepstakes that reward Watame-themed e-amusement pass cards. A simple X account follow-and-repost campaign will reward the horizontal card to 50 lucky winners. Meanwhile, every player who submit a complete Premium Generator collection can also receive a vertical card themed after Watame Night Fever.

Tsunomaki Watame will be the third hololive Vtuber to be personally featured in Sound Voltex. Konami had previously added Shirakami Fubuki in October 2023 and Nekomata Okayu in February 2024.

Sound Voltex Exceed Gear is available in arcades and PC via Konami Station. Tsunomaki Watame's songs will appear in the rhythm game on June 6, 2024, and more in-game content based on her will be temporarily obtainable for a month until July 6, 2024.

SaGa Emerald Beyond Interview

As the years go by, the SaGa JRPG series gained a wider appreciation worldwide and, as a result, we get to see new entries like 2024's SaGa Emerald Beyond. Now that the game is available everywhere, Siliconera got a chance to catch up with this entry's Director and Lead Writer Akitoshi Kawazu, who is also the series creator, to go over its development.

Jenni Lada: First, when did SaGa Emerald Beyond development begin?

Akitoshi Kawazu: Development on SaGa Emerald Beyond started as soon as we completed development of the Japanese version of SaGa Scarlet Grace. Concurrent to working on the overseas version of the title, we held a series of meetings to accumulate ideas for the next entry.

How did SaGa Scarlet Grace influence Emerald Beyond's development and scenarios?

Akitoshi Kawazu: We designed a new event management system based on our experience with SaGa Scarlet Grace. As a result, it is now possible to incorporate fairly complex scenarios.

Likewise, SaGa: Emerald Beyond comes after the rereleases of games like SaGa Frontier and Collection of SaGa: Final Fantasy Legend. We also see Mr. S and mechs return. How did classic titles influence its development?

Akitoshi Kawazu: Our intention isn't to trace past works. The introduction of various races was an important element in the design of this work. In addition, we already had a character who was well-suited for the tutorial element, which is so important in modern games, so we simply had them make an appearance.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eCDp4xvskqA&ab_channel=NintendoofAmerica

When creating the main cast of SaGa Emerald Beyond characters, what were your immediate goals?

Akitoshi Kawazu: Our goal for each protagonist was to offer a completely unique experience. To achieve this, we prepared a variety of characters with distinct cultural backgrounds in addition to different abilities and visuals.

Were there any potential leads you wanted to try and include, but couldn't?

Akitoshi Kawazu: There are indeed characters that couldn't be included, but it's probably best not to mention them. After all, there might be an opportunity for them to appear somewhere else.

In the case of Bonnie and Formina, we have two heroines in a single story instead of one lead. What influenced their development and direction?

Akitoshi Kawazu: Yes. When I thought of a female duo, the first one that came to mind was Thelma & Louise.

Each of the main characters have certain gimmicks that set them apart as heroes. How did you work on the balance for each one to ensure they'd be at about equal power levels and all be interesting individuals?

Akitoshi Kawazu: We allowed for some variation when it came to a character's ease of use. More so than maintaining balance, we wanted players to enjoy a different experience with each protagonist.

Image via Square Enix

What artistic influences helped shape SaGa Emerald Beyond and its characters and world?

Akitoshi Kawazu: For the artistic vision, I had a lot of in-depth discussions with members of the art team, especially with the lead artist, Satoshi Kuramochi. We asked him to design characters who encapsulated the essence of video games while having a realistic presence.

How did other forms of media affect the development of characters like the "magical girl" Ameya or vampire Siugnas?

Akitoshi Kawazu: The presence of magical girls in Japanese anime is the basis for Ameya's design and storyline. I think Siugnas also has less of a traditional vampire feel and is more like a character you might find in a Japanese manga.

Is there any sort of world or situation you wanted to include, but weren't able to? What would it have entailed?

Akitoshi Kawazu: We were working on designing worlds that were entirely mechanical or had a strong connection with music.

SaGa Emerald Beyond is available on the Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and a demo is out now.

Yu-Gi-Oh Winged Dragon of Ra Figure-rise Standard Amplified model kit

Bandai Spirits confirmed the release window for its Figure-rise Standard Amplified model kit of The Winged Dragon of Ra from Yu-Gi-Oh. After previously showing a prototype of the kit at the 62nd Shizuoka Hobby Show in early May 2024, the company will release it in October 2024 in Japan for 8,470 yen (~$54.70).

The kit will feature parts that the owner can move upon its completion. Other than the movable head and jaws, Bandai Spirits will also make sure that the shoulders and wings are adjustable. Those are necessary for the owner to re-enact the dragon's Sphere Mode.

When the completed kit is fully extended, it will have an overall height of around 30 cm (~11.81 in) and a wingspan of 40 cm (~15.75 in). Bandai Spirits will also offer two different joint parts on the back and abdomen, so the owner can attach the kit to a display base in various poses.

Voltes V Legacy coming to Japan as a theater movie

The Philippines-made live-action adaptation of Voltes V will formally make its way to Japan in late 2024. Toei has announced that it will release Voltes V: Legacy first as a movie in theaters across Japan on October 18, 2024. The company will also air an edited version of the television series on the Japanese channel Tokyo MX in Fall 2024. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]

The Japanese company will thus bring both Voltes V: Legacy – The Cinematic Experience which premiered in the Philippines in mid-April 2023 and the 90-episode television series which originally aired on GMA Network from May to November 2023. The movie will be available in Japan in two versions: one with the original Tagalog voiceovers and Japanese subtitles, and the other with Japanese dubs.

Toei has published a special movie on YouTube, but it is geo-locked to Japan only. The company also attached a video combining scenes from the original 1977 anime with the newer live-action adaptation on the title's Japanese X account that is also more widely available to watch:

Meanwhile, Bandai has released a Shokugan Modeling Project kit of the original Voltes V robot. The latter also confirmed plans to release new figures based on the live-action adaptation.

Voltes V: Legacy will be available in Japan first as a movie in theaters on Friday, October 18, 2024. Toei will also air the TV series on Tokyo MX in Fall 2024.

FFXIV Allagan Tomestones of Causality and Comedy Being Phased Out

Square Enix regularly brings in and removes FFXIV Allagan Tomestones varieties, and the Causality and Comedy ones are on the way out in 7.0. Those two won't be able to be obtained or exchanged once Dawntrail debuts, while the Allagan Tomestones of Astronomy will be completely removed. Crafters' and Gatherers' Scrips changes are also on the way.

In the case of the Allagan Tomestones of Astronomy, Square Enix warned those will be completely gone once 7.0 begins. Those can be exchanged for the Causality variant at the moment. People could then exchange those for items until 7.0, or then exchange them for another Allagan Tomestones variant after 7.0.  Any remaining in a player's inventory when the update happens will be completely gone.

As for the Allagan Tomestones of Causality and Comedy, both will still be able to be exchanged in FFXIV after 7.0. So we won't lose any that are in our inventory. However, it won't be possible to acquire new ones and the ones held can't be turned in to get equipment or items. Instead, all you can do is exchange those for the Allagan Tomestones of Poetics.

There will be no changes to Allagan Tomestones of Poetics in FFXIV when 7.0 arrives. However, two more varieties will be added to the game after the patch. All Allagan Tomestones swaps both before and after the update happen when you talk to Auriana in Revenant's Toll (X:22.7 Y:6.7)

The update also mentioned changes to the Crafters' and Gatherers' Scrips. The Purple Scrips will be available, as will one other new variety. People will also be able to get White Scrips items with Purple ones. However, the White and Yellow Scrips will be gone. Yellow Scrips can be swapped for White ones until 7.0 debuts, while White ones can be swapped for Purple ones after 7.0. These exchanges happen at Revenant's Toll (X:22.7, Y:6.7).

Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and the Dawntrail expansion will arrive on July 2, 2024

exit 8

The creator of the The Exit 8 and Platform 8 series of games stated that they're done with making games like it. They plan on releasing an action game after Strange Shadow comes out in 2025.

Kotake Create, the developer and publisher of The Exit 8 and Platform 8, said on social media that they started the series because they really like the underground subway. However, they're satisfied now, so they don't plan on releasing any more games within that universe.

The Exit 8 and Platform 8 both were popularity due to the prevalence of streamers playing them. Their gameplay loop is the same. You play as someone who's trapped inside of an endless train or underground passageway. In order to escape, you must observe your surroundings and look out for anomalies. It's kind of like Where's Waldo, but with a somewhat more unsettling aesthetic due to the nature of some of said anomalies.

In Kotake Create's announcement tweet, he QRT-ed a tweet he made in May 2024 about what kinds of games they want. According to that post, they want to make games like Inside, Little Nightmares, Sekiro, Katana Zero, Titan Souls, and The Last Guardian. Strange Shadow looks like it might have taken some inspiration from the first two. You play as someone in bright yellow who's trying to hide and escape from a scary giant monster. According to the tags on Steam, it's an action-adventure 3D puzzle platformer with psychological horror elements.

The Exit 8 is on Windows PCs and the Nintendo Switch. Platform 8 is on the Windows PC only. Strange Shadow will come out in 2025 for the WIndows PC.

Final Fantasy XIV Anniversary Plates Being Resold

Square Enix announced that the Final Fantasy XIV Wajima-nuri 10th anniversary plates will be available on sale again in Japan starting on June 11, 2024. Pottery brand Tsutaya had to suspend sales and manufacture of the plates due to the Noto Peninsula earthquake that struck Japan on January 2024.

There are two models available. One features the iconic dragon Bahamut, and another one shows bird and flower motifs inspired by Meteion. The Bahamut dish costs 66,550 yen (or about $429.52), while the Meteion dish costs 40,700 yen (~$262.68). Additionally, the dishes include the FFXIV logo on the back.

You can check out the Final Fantasy XIV dishes in more detail here:

The original pre-order period for the Final Fantasy XIV anniversary plates was announced on early December 2023, and they were expected to release in Japan on March 2024. However, the Wajima-nuri lacquerware industry was severely affected by the aforementioned January 2024 Noto Peninsula earthquake.

In a recent message, the Tsutaya pottery company announced that, thanks to the collaboration and help of artisans, craftsmen, and other people, the company is ready to resume sales of the FFXIV collaborative plates.

The Final Fantasy XIV Wajima-nuri anniversary plates will become available for sale again from June 11, 2024. Final Fantasy XIV is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC.

Capcom Shares Monster Hunter Wilds Seikret Bird Mount Art

Capcom offered a closer look at the new Monster Hunter Wilds bird mount called a Seikret on social media. The new art highlights the creature's plumage and also shows the packs and gear it will have equipped.

Like the Palamute in Monster Hunter Rise and its Sunbreak expansion, we'll get to ride the Seikret in Monster Hunter Wilds to get around the world on missions. It is a bird, in the same way the Chocobo in the Final Fantasy series is. Hunters will ride on its back to get around, with Capcom noting that a player could have one "guide" them to locations when they are ridden.

The various bags on the Seikret also allude to some of the other actions connected to it. If we check in at the Monster Hunter Wilds bird mount, we will be able to change our weapon. While riding, we will also apparently be able to gather and use a whetstone or other items. The new Hook Slinger is one of the new gathering items that can be used while riding a Seikret.

Here's a closer look at the Monster Hunter Wilds Seikret:

https://twitter.com/monsterhunter/status/1797977120104206484

Earlier in June 2024, Capcom also introduced two of the Monster Hunter Wilds NPCs who will help us on hunts. They are the new handler and blacksmith.

Monster Hunter Wilds will come to the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam in 2025.

metaphor refantazio showcase

An exclusive showcase for Metaphor: ReFantazio will stream on June 7, 2024 at 6:00 PM PT/9:00 PM ET. You can watch it from the official Atlus West YouTube channel.

Here is the stream:

https://www.youtube.com/live/H-G_4GqAgA0

The stream will take place after the Summer Game Fest on Friday.

We actually already know quite a bit of information about Metaphor: ReFantazio. Previous announcements from Atlus mentioned the story, characters, game mechanics, and worldview. We also know about the various pre-order bonuses and editions of the game. Atlus might give us more detailed information, as well as show new footage of the game. While not Atlus, something similar happened with the Silent Hill Transmission. During that stream, Konami showed a long gameplay video of Silent Hill 2 Remake.

Metaphor: ReFantazio is an upcoming JRPG from the creative minds of Persona 3, 4, and 5. However, it takes place in a medieval fantasy world who sets out to protect his kingdom with a fairy companion. You can also strengthen your bonds with your party members. But you won't be able to romance them like you can in Persona. Also unlike the Persona series, the battle system seems to be a mix of action-based combat and turn-based combat.

Metaphor: ReFantazio will come out on October 11, 2024 for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC via Steam. The Metaphor: ReFantazio showcase stream will take place on June 7, 2024 at 6:00 PM PT/9:00 PM ET.

like a dragon yakuza amazon prime

A new live-action Like a Dragon: Yakuza series will appear on Amazon Prime Video on October 24, 2024. Ryoma Takeuchi will star as Kiryu Kazuma.

This will be a six-part series, with the first half appearing on October 25, 2024. The second half will air on November 1, 2024. There will be subtitled and dubbed versions of the show. It'll take place between two time periods—1995 and 2005—and follow both Kiryu's childhood and his adult life in the yakuza.

Masaharu Take (100 Yen Film) and Kengo Takimoto (Kamen Teacher) are the directors. As mentioned earlier, Takeuchi will be Kiryu, the protagonist and the Dragon of Dojima. Takeuchi's known for his role as Shinnosuke Tomari, the main character of Kamen Rider Drive. He also starred in Love You as the World Ends as Hibiki Mamiya, and voice-acted as Tim Goodman (Justice Smith) in Detective Pikachu.

Because of the two time periods above, it seems that Like a Dragon: Yakuza on Amazon Prime will also cover the events of the first Yakuza game. The Like a Dragon film (Takashi Miike) which came out in 2007 also focused on that entry. This film had a somewhat comedic and campy tone to it, though. So this upcoming live-action series seems to be a more grounded adaptation. According to Masayoshi Yokoyama (head of RGG Studio and executive producer), the games let you see the world through a subjective lens, this show will let you experience the events from an objective perspective.

Like a Dragon: Yakuza will come out on October 24, 2024.

Lee Woo-ri passed away earlier this year at the young age of 24 years old. His cause of death is unknown and his funeral was a private affair. He debuted at the age of 21 and was the youngest male professional voice actor in South Korea. Aside from appearing as Cyno in Genshin Impact, he also voiced characters in Case Closed, Crayon Shin-chan, and more. Fellow voice actors in South Korea expressed their grief at the time and Alejandro Saab, who voices Cyno in the English version of Genshin Impact, also shared his condolences.

Jung Eui-Jin, who is Cyno's new voice actor in Genshin Impact, is in the game already as Heizou. Since the Korean version of Genshin Impact will credit both Jeong Eui-jin and Lee Woo-ri for Cyno, you'll still be able to hear Lee's performance in the game. As of the time of writing, Lee Woo-ri's name is still the only one in Cyno's profile. The addition of Jeong Eui-jin may appear after the upcoming Version 4.7 update. Sethos's Korean trailer has a brief clip of Cyno talking about how Sethos doesn't want to play Genius Invokation with him. You can hear Jeong's version of Cyno at the 0:25 timestamp.

Genshin Impact is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices.

As you might know, this is only the very first step to unlocking the Tessellation Catalyst. The next one is collecting a decent amount of kills with the Tessellation fusion r...

It's a support-oriented Exotic that'll be highly sought after in LFG groups for high-end content. Warlocks are already desired for their healing abilities, and Speaker's Sight just makes them even better at it. How to Get Speaker's Sight in Destiny 2 The Final Shape To get Speaker's Sight in Destiny 2, you'll have to interact with the new Exotic Engram system introduced in The Final Shape.      Eliminate All Combatants Destiny 2While playing Destiny 2, I reached a point where I had to eliminate all combatants, but none remained. This prevented me from moving on with the mission, but I worked out how to fix it. How to fix the Eliminate all Combatants error I was worried about losing my progression in Destiny 2; however, this wasn't a problem. To fix the game-breaking bug with combatants, I simply exited the mission by visiting the Tower and relaunched it on the same difficulty. Destiny 2 remembered what checkpoint I was at and started me there, this time with combatants to eliminate. Screenshot: PC Invasion This is a helpful feature and can be used for other purposes in the game. If your inventory is getting a little full of weapons, you can head back to the tower. This will give you time to drop off weapons and armor you may want to go through later. Also, if you have forgotten to pick up your daily bounties, you can always drop out of the campaign and pick some up. There is no need to w...
