HoYoVerse announced that the Genshin Impact Cloud version open beta is now open in the US and Canada. However, while it is free to download on a PC, iOS device, or Android device, someone will need to pay real money to keep playing.
The idea behind this version of Genshin Impact is that you can play on any PC or mobile device without any additional downloads. Progress is carried over, once you log into it. However, in order to keep playing, you need to either purchase a 30-day Cloud Pass to have unlimited access or Cloud Coins to play for certain amounts of minutes.
A free trial is in effect for the Genshin Impact Cloud version. However, it is limited. When you log in for the first time, the five-hour (300 minute) free trial is automatically credited to your account. You can also get 15 free minutes every day that you log in. However, the total amount of free time you can get is 600 minutes. After you hit that limit, you must always pay for access.
If someone buys a Cloud Pass for Genshin Impact, it costs $19.99, while Cloud Coins are available in various bundles. The smallest Cloud Coin bundle gives you 1,800 for $1.99. The game costs 10 Cloud Coins per minute to play. So that bundle gives you three hours worth of game time. The largest bundle is 14,000 Cloud Coins for $14.99, which is just over 23 hours worth of time.
Genshin Impact is available on the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices. The Cloud version is in its beta phase in Bangladesh, Cambodia, Canada, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, and the United States.

Bandai Namco's subsidiary Plex has opened pre-orders for new sets of paper art puzzles that feature the Zaku II mobile suits from the first Gundam anime show. People who reside in Japan can place their orders on the Japanese Premium Bandai web store. [Thanks, Hobby Watch!]
The puzzle sets will be available in two versions: The regular mass-produced MS-06F Zaku II and the MS-06S commander variant painted in Char Aznable's custom color. Both sets will have the same price tag of 4,800 yen (~$30.55). Each package will come with an instruction manual and four paper sheets containing the puzzle parts.
Each version will also have a different pose and total height. The regular Zaku II will have an overall height of 125mm (~4.92 in) and come with a bazooka. Meanwhile, the Char custom variant will be around 133mm (~5.24 in) tall while including a machine gun.

The Gundam franchise has been most famous for its plastic-based Gunpla model kits, but Plex has also been releasing sets that use other materials. In late 2023, the same company revealed a ki-gu-mi craft puzzle set based on the RX-78-2 Gundam that utilizes bamboo in lieu of plastic.
The Paper Art si-gu-mi Pro puzzle sets based on the Zaku II units from Mobile Suit Gundam will be available in late July 2024.

Lego announced that a set based on Transformers character Bumblebee is about to take flight. The new release in the Icons line will cost $89.99 when it shows up on the official site on July 4, 2024, though people who are part of Lego Insiders will get early access on July 1, 2024.
Bumblebee consists of 950 pieces to build, and the recommended age is 18+. It features two modes to it. The one allows you to see Bumblebee as a robot. This also includes a gun the character can equip. However, you can transform it into a Volkswagon Beetle. This is done by strategically moving parts around, like you would a normal Transformers action figure, rather than taking apart and completely rebuilding the set.
Here are some initial images, including one of Bumblebee as it is going from robot to car form.
This is the second Lego character in this Transformers line. The first was Optimus Prime. It launched in June 2022. It set the precedent for sets to have the capability to swap between robot and vehicle modes without needing to do any rebuilding. As that kit consists of 1508 pieces to Bumblebee's 950, it costs $179.99.
This isn't the only crossover product between Transformers characters and other merchandise brands. For example, many of them are also part of the Kotobukiya Bishoujo figure line. A feminine adaptation of Optimus Prime debuted in January 2023, and Bumblebee followed in August 2023.
Lego Bumblebee will launch on July 4, 2024, with Lego Insider Early Access running July 1-3, 2024.

A new trailer for the Mononoke: Karakasa movie is out, revealing some new male voice actors voicing characters in the cast. The trailer is a lot livelier than the previous one, which focused more on the women inside Ooku. [Thanks, Dengeki Online!]

As a reminder, Sakurai was originally the Medicine Seller in Mononoke. However, due to his adultery scandal, Hiroshi Kamiya replaced him. This is due to the plot of the movie focusing on the plight and struggles of women in Ooku. Considering the circumstances in Sakurai's personal life and the themes of the film, the studio decided to recast him.
The new cast members in the Mononoke: Karakasa movie, as well as their previous roles, are:
The plot of the Mononoke movie will feature the Medicine Seller investigating Ooku. It seems that the women are conducting a strange ritual every night. As well, a very important ritual, Oomochi-zuki, was delayed and someone disappeared under mysterious circumstances. It will combine spiritual fantasy, mystery, and historical fiction.
Mononoke is available for streaming on services like Crunchyroll and the film Mononoke: Karakasa will air on July 26, 2024.

MegaHouse announced its next Bleach figure will be of Rangiku Matsumoto as she appears in Thousand-Year Blood War. It is the latest in the GEM Series, and people in Japan will be able to pre-order it from Premium Bandai ahead of its November 2024 release.
Throughout the series, Rangiku is known for occasionally enjoying and partaking in sake. For this figure, she's wearing her Gotei 13 uniform. She's sitting on a chair holding a bowl in one hand, and an empty bottle can be positioned on the ground. As this is based on the most recently adapted arc, her hair is shorter than it was in some other parts of the story. However, she still has the pink scarf that is one of her most common accessories. The figure will cost 24,200円 (~$154).
Here is the official announcement for the upcoming Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Rangiku figure. It included three initial images of the character from different angles. Based on the early photos, it seems like the additional empty bottle may be able to be posed to someone's liking.
This isn't the first time a Rangiku figure has been a part of MegaHouse's GEM line. Another one appeared back in June 2022. This new one will be slightly smaller, as she apparently stands at about seven and a half inches, while the one of her using her Bankai was over nine inches tall. At this point, the older figure of her goes for about $259.99.
The GEM Bleach: The Thousand-Year Blood War Rangiku Matsumoto figure will launch in November 2024 in Japan. The latest anime adaptation is streaming on Disney+. Viz Media handles the manga outside of Japan.

The Nintendo Switch physical edition comes with the Cherished Keepsakes DLC of Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley, as well as some paper stands you can display around the house. Cherished Keepsakes is a cosmetic DLC that you can use to give Snufkin some flowers for his hat, as well as a wooden mouthpiece for when he's just chilling and enjoying nature.
The limited version of the box will come with the game, the DLC, the original art book, the soundtrack, a pin of Moomintroll giving Snufkin a piggyback, and the paper stands. Depending on where you purchase it, you can get different bonuses. Ebiten will give a Snufkin keyholder, Rakuten a Moominmamma keyholder, Bookoff a postcard and sticker sheet, and Amazon a pop-up card of the theater.
While Kakehashi Games is only going to release the physical edition of Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley in Japan, the Nintendo Switch does not have a region lock. Season 2 of the Delicious in Dungeon anime is now in production. After the conclusion of the first season's 24-episode run on Netflix, the new season was confirmed to be in the works.
The announcement of the Studio Trigger-developed show came via X (formerly known as Twitter). It included a teaser trailer, showing off some of the famous moments and delicious dining from the first season, as well as a stinger of the mage Sissel surrounded by dragons. The official account also showed off a new poster celebrating the announcement after the final episode of the current season was released on Netflix. There is currently no release date for the new season.

Meanwhile, various companies announced numerous pieces of merchandise to tie-in with the anime's release. A craft cola beverage inspired by the mandrake monster was announced in April 2024. A set of cooking utensils like the ones Senshi uses to make the delicious meals is also available to purchase.
The Delicious in Dungeon season 1 run is done and all episodes are currently streaming on Netflix, while season 2 is in the works. The manga is licensed for publication in the US by Yen Press.

Cygames announced that Umamusume: Pretty Derby passed over 21 million downloads. To commemorate this, all players will get an SSR Make Debut gacha ticket. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
The SSR Make Debut gacha ticket will guarantee that you get an SSR support card. However, the options won't be newer than ones that came out in January 2024.
In addition, a new horse girl named Jungle Pocket debuted in the game and she is available in the gacha. Jungle Pocket was a Japanese thoroughbred that won five out of thirteen races over the course of his career. He retired in 2002 and died in 2021. The horse girl version of Jungle Pocket plays a major role in the Beginning of a New Era film.
Umamusume: Pretty Derby is a multimedia franchise focusing on personified versions of famous race horses in history. While a good number of these horses were male in real life, they're all girls in Umamusume. Aside from the game, there are anime series and manga adaptations of the characters and story. So far, Cygames has not announced any plans to release the game outside of Japan. However, Google hinted at a possible global release back in March 2023.
It has been a very popular game despite all of its delays, making over 2.4 billion JPY. Over 72% of the money Cygames made from mobage between February 2021 and March 2024 came from this game. Even back in 2021, it was the third highest grossing mobile game, competing with titles like Pokemon Go and Genshin Impact. It reached this number within about three months of release.

Good Smile Company revealed that it will restock the Fate/Zero Saber figure that has her riding a motorcycle in 2025. It has also opened pre-orders for the new batch on both the North American and Japanese international web stores. The figure set will be available at ￥19,000 / $111.99.
This figure depicts the protagonist's Servant Saber with the motorcycle formally known as the Saber Motored Cuirassier. The character is also wielding her signature Excalibur sword on her left hand. The 1/8 scale figure has an overall height of around 160 mm (6.29in), with the motorcycle measured at around 290mm (11.42in) long.

Good Smile Company originally released this figure set in June 2012. That was around the time the TV anime adaptation of the prequel novel to Fate/Stay Night concluded its run after it launched in October 2011.
The same Saber-class Servant also appeared in Fate/Stay Night, which originated as a visual novel for PCs. Type-Moon is working on remastering the original visual novel for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam while adding new English and Simplified Chinese localizations in 2024.
The pre-order window for the new batch of Fate/Zero figure sets of Saber with the Saber Motored Cuirassier will close on July 24, 2024. Good Smile Company will ship the restocked sets from Japan in January 2025 and North America in Q2 2025.

Capcom revealed that a new Devil May Cry collaboration event starring multiple characters will appear temporarily at its Japanese cafe outlets between July 2024 and August 2024. It will newly feature chibi illustrations of Dante, Vergil, Lady, Nero, and V. The event will be available at both Capcom Cafe outlets on Grandscape Ikebukuro in Tokyo and Daimaru Umeda in Osaka.
Capcom Cafe frequently holds Devil May Cry collaborations in an almost yearly basis. Prior examples included a Dante pizza burger in 2020. But while Capcom had held a collaboration featuring multiple versions of the same characters in 2022, it will focus on a single version for each character in the upcoming 2024 edition.
Dante and Vergil will appear in their Devil May Cry 3 attires, while Lady and Nero's appearances will be based on Devil May Cry 4. The fifth and last character featured in the key visual will be V, who made his debut in Devil May Cry 5, the series' latest mainline entry to date.
The new Devil May Cry collaboration event will appear at both Capcom Cafe outlets in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, and Umeda, Osaka, from July 5, 2024, to August 8, 2024. Capcom will reveal more details about the collaboration, including the menu and merchandise, in the near future.

A long-running Evangelion expo series will make its return to the city where it all started. Khara has announced that it will hold a new Evangelion Crossing Expo in Tokyo from mid-September 2024 to October 2024. The venue will be different though, as the company will hold it at the Roppongi Museum instead of Shibuya Hikarie. [Thanks, Game Watch!]
Evangelion Crossing Expo is a series of exhibitions that display numerous works and products derived from the anime series. The collection ranges from figures of characters and EVA units to pachinko machines and vehicle liveries.
The first-ever expo in the series launched in Tokyo at Shibuya Hikarie in July 2022. Since then, Khara held successive expos in Osaka in December 2022, Fukuoka in April 2023, Akita in July 2023, Niigata in December 2023, and Nagoya in February 2024. As of this announcement, the company is preparing to hold the next expo that will take place in Aomori at New's Hall from July 6, 2024, to September 1, 2024.
However, Khara will not end the expo series with the return to Tokyo. The company has confirmed that it will hold another expo in Shizuoka at the Shimizu Cultural Center Marinart from December 2024 to January 2025. The company has also stated its intention to add even more cities across Japan to the list in the future.
The Evangelion Crossing Expo will re-appear in Tokyo at the Roppongi Museum from September 13, 2024, to October 22, 2024.

The Holoearth Version 0.8.0 update will add combat and survival features. In addition, the simulation room will be larger and there will be a day-night cycle. [Thanks, Famitsu!]
Version 0.8.0 of Holoearth go live on June 17, 2024. Cover already announced this back in April 2024, though that reveal didn't involve a concrete release date. You can watch the trailer here:
In the trailer, we can watch the sky turn from night to day. We also get the first example of combat in Holoearth, as we get to see a battle. You can also throw items at enemies and attack them with your swords. Defeating them can also let you level up. The trailer doesn't show too much of what you can do to survive in the wild, but we can see the avatar player sitting next to a fire outside. There will also be 36 new items to customize your avatar and over 200 new items for your house.
At night, you'll need to use a torch or campfire to see things around you. Defeating monsters will let you gain materials and ingredients. You can then use those items to craft various items or cook different meals. You'll need to do so to prevent hunger and dehydration, which can affect your stamina.
Holoearth is available on the Windows PC and Version 0.8.0 will come out on June 17, 2024. To commemorate this, you'll be able to collect 300 Holocoins. However, this offer will only be available until August 14, 2024.

The next part of the FFVII Ever Crisis Monster Hunter event is live, and that also means a banner with Aerith and Tifa. The two of them get Kamura and Kirin equipment, respectively, as Silver Rathalos also appears in the crossover event.
First, here's the trailer for the second part of the FFVII Ever Crisis Monster Hunter crossover event, which features Silver Rathalos, Kamura Aerith, and Kirin Tifa. Things begin with the Silver Rathalos on the attack. Then, we get to see Tifa strike back. That's followed by Aerith also contributing to the fight. The teaser closes with the Rathalos continuing its assault.
The new equipment Aerith and Tifa are wearing in that FFVII Ever Crisis trailer are a part of the latest banner. It runs until July 2, 2024. Tifa can get Kirin Armor and Gloves. In the video, she used electrical attacks with it. Meanwhile, Aerith wields a Kamura Wand and wears an outfit that resembles Hinoa's from Monster Hunter Rise. The previous banner involved exclusive items for Cloud and Zack.

Finally, the Rathalos in the Midgar Skies event now has the new right. When you beat it, you can get Proof of Defeat: Silver Rathalos and Silver Rathalos Shards. Those can be turned in for Glenn's Silver Sol Buster. As a reminder, going through the event is also how to get the Cait Sith Catsmegaphone and themed gear.
FFVII Ever Crisis is available for the PC and mobile devices. The Monster Hunter event runs until July 2, 2024.
