Bandai Namco opened two new One Piece Card Game and Pac-Man Select stores in the Mitsuwa Plaza location in Arlington Heights, IL. The two appear at the back of the store next to the Pastry House Hippo bakery.
The One Piece Card Game Official Shop serves as both a storefront and place to play. At the counter, people can purchase cards and decks. Purchase limits are in effect. Once inside, tables are set up for people to play. As a note the championship matches often have Store Regionals segments, which could involve locations like this.
As for the Pac-Man Select store, it only involves merchandise. A number of retro-style arcade cabinets are on display. So are pieces of art and stools involving Pac-Man and the ghosts. Other accessories, such as replicas of the character and glasses, are available as well.
This isn't the only Bandai Namco installation at the Illinois Mitsuwa Plaza location. Earlier in 2024, the Gashapon Bandai Official Shop opened. It is between the Toritetsu restaurant and food court seating. A number of machines are available, grouped into categories such as Character, Living Things, or Anime and Manga. Most machines take between two and four coins per pull, and it is $2 per coin.

Ironmouse has hit 2 million Twitch followers, according to an announcement Tweet from VShojo. In a QRT, Ironmouse thanks VShojo for making her dreams come true.
In the announcement Tweet, VShojo posted a video showing a compilation of Ironmouse's best hits. It includes clips from her past streams, follower milestones, and accomplishments. For example, it showed her reaction to when she won Content Creator of the Year during The Game Awards 2023. This was a very notable accomplishment, as she was not only the first VTuber to receive a nomination, but she's also the first to win.
Aside from her QRT, Ironmouse also replied to the video, stating that she was going to cry. Other VTubers like Matarakan also congratulated her in the replies. Not all of the replies are from VShojo members, showing Ironmouse's connections with various VTubers in the industry.
Ironmouse is a VTuber and Twitch streamer who was one of the founding members of VShojo in 2020. However she was active even before that, starting her streaming channel in 2017. As of the time of writing, she has over 1.11 million subscribers on YouTube. Of course on Twitch, Ironmouse has 2 million subscribers. Some of the recent games she streamed include Elden Ring and Honkai: Star Rail.

Phase Connect announced on social media that Vtuber Airi Chisaka will not be following her schedule and streaming as usual. It cited a "sudden incident" and noted she is expected to return on or after July 10, 2024.

Chisaka herself hasn't tweeted since the announcement. On June 24, 2024, she did note that she wouldn't have weekend streams due to being busy for a month or two.
The most recent schedule for Chisaka included streams between June 26-29, 2024. She didn't make it to the June 26, 2024 one. That would have been the "Dizzy Chose this Game for Me" one. She also had "Intro to Slimes," "Slime ASMR," and a "Cover Release & After Party" ones set to appear on June 27-29, 2024. The day before the Phase Connect announcement, she released a joke cover of the song "Payphone" by Maroon 5. You can watch that below:
One of her last streams before the incident was a Ka-Ching Up one June 23, 2024. It also involved Clara Kaminari. She also held a "Payphoning to 50,000 Subscribers" stream on June 21, 2024.

HoYoverse has announced a new festival exhibition to be held in Tokyo and Osaka that features Ganyu, a character from the popular open-world RPG Genshin Impact. The exhibition will provide three-dimensional sculptures and art panels that depict the landscapes of Teyvat. General ticket sales for the Tokyo venue will begin on June 29, 2024. [Thanks, PR Times!]
The exhibition will be held in Tokyo at Space Galleria from July 19, 2024, to August 19, 2024, and in Osaka at Space Gratus from September 20, 2024, to October 21, 2024. Tickets for the Tokyo venue will be available from June 29, 2024, to July 18, 2024, priced at 2,000 yen (approximately $12 USD) with a bundle exchange ticket for 700 yen (approximately $4 USD).

Additionally, visitors who spend over 5,000 yen (approximately $31 USD) will receive a free Ganyu-themed shopping bag.

The latest Dragon's Dogma 2 title update appeared on June 27, 2024, and this time the patch notes are primarily about storage changes. While there are other adjustments and bug fixes, a lot of the additions involve quality of life changes to make it easier to handle the items you put away.
Some of the biggest changes have to do with more easily accessing items you placed in storage in Dragon's Dogma 2. You can equip directly from there now, instead of having to rearrange your inventory to add the items you want, then change your armor around. Also, if you need to make some room in storage, you can directly sell from there. Previously, you needed to pull items out to do that too.
There is also a new cap on the amount of items in storage. Previously, you could only have up to 99 of each type of item. Now, you can go up to 999.

This type of update comes up regularly for Dragon's Dogma 2. In April 2024, the Dragonsplague frequency was adjusted with a similar patch. An earlier patch after launch made it easier to get a house in-game.

Square Enix announced the release of a new Kingdom Hearts merchandise tote bag that features a chibi version of the Shadow type of Heartless, the most emblematic enemy type in the series. The bag costs 3,960 yen (or approximately $24.64), and it is set to release on September 28, 2024 in Japan.
Pre-orders for the tote bag are now open from the Japanese Square Enix online eStore. The bag is made of polyester. A chibi version of the iconic Shadow Heartless, as well as the Heartless symbol, are embroidered on one side of the Kingdom Hearts bag.

The Kingdom Hearts series is one of Square Enix most popular franchises, so it stands to reason for the company to release new merchandise. Most recently, Square Enix announced a new line of stationery merchandise that will come out in Japan on September 2024, as well as the re-release of the light-up keyblades, set to appear in August 2024.

The Suicide Squad ISEKAI anime released its full opening theme song, featuring vocals from Hololive's Calliope Mori. The anime is set to premiere on June 27, 2024, and the opening was released on YouTube via Warner Bros. Japan's channel.

The Suicide Squad ISEKAI opening theme, "Go-Getters," is composed by Giga and TeddyLoid with lyrics by Calliope Mori and Yuki Tsujimura.
The video highlights the titular Suicide Squad members: Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Peacemaker, Clayface, King Shark, and Amanda Waller. The accompanying video showcases the cast dancing to the song, with Waller, the hardcore government official in charge of the team, prominently displaying intense dance moves and poses reminiscent of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. In contrast, the squad is showing off their style with poses reminiscent of Vogue magazine, with Harley Quinn prominently displaying center stage.
Suicide Squad ISEKAI features , Amanda Waller, the head of A.R.G.U.S., assembling a group of notorious criminals for a mission. Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Peacemaker, Clayface, and King Shark are sent into an otherworldly realm, an "ISEKAI" filled with fantasy creatures such as orcs and dragons.

Nihon Falcom has revealed numerous series characters who will re-appear in The Legend of Heroes: Kai no Kiseki. One of them will be Kevin Graham, who was a key character in the Trails in the Sky series.
Kevin initially appeared in Trails in the Sky SC, the second overall series entry. However, he gained prominence as the main protagonist of the direct sequel, Trails in the Sky the 3rd. The last entry where Kevin made a direct appearance before this game was Trails to Azure, which was released in Japan in 2011 but only had its official English localization released in 2023.
However, while revealing the character's return, Nihon Falcom also announced a change in his Japanese voice actor. Ryohei Nakao used to voice Kevin Graham in Trails to Azure and the Sky entries. He will not reprise the role, as the company confirmed Kazuyuki Okitsu as his new voice actor.
Kevin Graham is not the only character featured in this update. Nihon Falcom also confirmed the return of Rufus Albarea from the Trails of Cold Steel series. Kai no Kiseki will also feature Lapis Rosenberg, Swin Abel, and Nadia Rayne from Trails into Reverie, as well as Van Arkride's childhood friends Elaine Auclair and Rene Kincaid from the Trails through Daybreak series.
Nihon Falcom has also published a new web commercial video for Kai no Kiseki on its YouTube channel. This trailer shows even more characters who will appear in the series' latest entry, including the Trails of Cold Steel main characters Fie Claussell and Rean Schwarzer.

For the newest expansion to FFXIV: Dawntrail, Square Enix has set up a new ad campaign, Tour Tural. A website, decorated like the official tourism sites of many countries around the world, showcases the new continent of Tural players will be visiting.
In addition to a video featuring Rhys Darby of Our Flag Means Death and Flight of the Conchords fame as the "Interim Deputy Director of Turalism", the Tour Tural campaign has gone on to create in-universe comedy advertising about the upcoming adventure to Tural FFXIV players will be able to enjoy when Dawntrail releases.

The site features everything from recipes for Tural inspired tacos and drinks, advertising for the scenic locals and various activities present in the new expansion and in-universe advertising for everything from alpaca-petting to novelty postcards.

This is only the latest swing in the Dawntrail pre-release marketing. Earlier this year, Square Enix announced a collaboration with the Gong cha bubble tea chain. In addition a new Final Fantasy Uniqlo collaboration was announced, bringing new t-shirt designs to the international clothing store. The "Board of Turalism" campaign is the next step in Square Enix's attempts to spread the word and get people even more excited for the new expansion.
Final Fantasy XIV is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox, and PC. The newest expansion, Dawntrail, begins early access on June 28, 2024 and the full release will be on July 5, 2024.

On August 1, 2024, Mandalorian Bounty Hunter Jango Fett will return in a full remaster of the 2002 PS2 and GameCube game starring him. The release date was confirmed for this updated version of Star Wars: Bounty Hunter, which will include textural overhauls and be playable on the PS5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
A trailer showcasing gameplay and the updated texture work debuted to show everyone what to expect. The game features mission-based gameplay, where you use all of Jango Fett's bounty hunting tools to accomplish jobs. Players will jetpack through areas, use Jango's twin blasters to fight off foes, and travel across famous Star Wars locales in pursuit of bounties. The game, focusing on the history of the famous Bounty Hunter and source of the Clone Troopers, shows the adventures he went on before becoming selected to be the Clone Trooper template.

The rerelease is developed by Aspyr. Aspyr had a hand in Star Wars rereleases for a while now, porting the classic Star Wars: Battlefront games to modern consoles alongside the remasters of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. This game was also released exclusively for the PS4 in 2019, via a physical edition through Limited Run Games. It joins the new Star Wars: Hunters hero-shooter.
The Star Wars: Bounty Hunter rerelease release date is August 1, 2024. It will be available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.

Version 1.8 of Hello Kitty Island Adventure is now live, and it lets Apple Arcade players make their avatar a horse, go through a new event, take on more quests, and prepare the Mount Hothead Saunarator. While many of the new additions are immediately available, the Sunshine Celebration event doesn't start until July 10, 2024.
With the horse option, it will show up as an avatar type both for newcomers who create a new character for a file or for existing Hello Kitty Island Adventure players. You need to head to a mirror to change your appearance to look like a different animal species. If one isn't in a cabin you've decorated, you can visit Tuxedosam or My Melody's shops and use the mirrors there to change.
In addition to the horse avatar, there are basically three other major additions in the Hello Kitty Island Adventure 1.8 update that involve completely new elements. You can trade lemonade for new and old rewards during Sunshine Celebration. That will be held in the Resort Plaza and involve My Melody. You can also head to Mount Hothead to restore the Saunarator. This will also lead to new sauna-related furniture and interior design options. Finally, a Music Player can be added to cabins. This also means being able to explore every area for songs for these.

The 1.7 update arrived for Hello Kitty Island Adventure back in May 2024. In addition to new quests and an event, people could start adding face and back accessories to their avatars after downloading it.
Hello Kitty Island Adventure is available for Apple devices via Apple Arcade, and it will be on the Switch, PS4, PS5, and PC in 2025.

Amuro Ray, the protagonist of Mobile Suit Gundam, has been closely associated with his original Japanese voice actor Tooru Furuya. However, the voice association may end sooner than usual, as Bandai Namco is contemplating whether to employ a new voice actor for the famous character in light of Furuya's recently revealed scandal.
Yahoo! Japan's Meikou Kawamura sent a question to Bandai Namco to confirm whether it is considering a change to Amuro Ray's voice role from Tooru Furuya. Bandai Namco Filmworks, the subsidiary which owns Sunrise, replied with the following message:
Tooru Furuya has been receiving an intense spotlight ever since Bunshun reported on his adultery scandal with a forced abortion. The veteran voice actor has since apologized for committing the acts. However, the scandal is still having a great impact on his career. His agency, Aoni Production, persuaded him to step down from his two roles as Sabo in One Piece and Tooru Amuro in Detective Conan / Case Closed. Atlus also removed him from an upcoming role in Metaphor: ReFantazio.
A fair number of people in the Japanese fandom have been posting recommendations for Osamu Wakai to step up as the new voice actor for Amuro Ray. This is because the Japanese comedian has been well-known for his impersonation of the character.
The recommendation is not without merit, as there was a prior similar example. Kanichi Kurita is originally a comedian known for impersonating the titular protagonist of the Lupin the Third series. He eventually became the official Japanese voice actor for Lupin III starting from the 1995 movie Farewell to Nostradamus following the death of the original voice actor Yasuo Yamada.

It can be a really big deal when an anime series ends up inspiring its first game. Especially when it is a Shonen Jump series and the ensuing title doesn't end up being something like a fighter. But that's exactly happened with SPY x ANYA: Operation Memories, the first SPY x FAMILY game. It's more of a relaxed, slice of life affair with Anya Forger as the focus. To learn more about its development, Siliconera spoke with Producer Yuri Kishi about the title.
Jenni Lada: When did you start working on the SPY x ANYA: Operation Memories SPY x FAMILY game?
Yuri Kishi: The project started several years ago. When we started, the anime series had not yet been broadcast even in Japan, but the manga series had begun, and we were confident that the game would become even more spread in the future. Many of us in our office are also fans of the manga, and the project began with the desire of a fan to enjoy the world of the Spy Family in the form of a video game as well.
How influential is the SPY x FAMILY manga and anime on SPY x ANYA: Operation Memories, and which arcs can we expect to see events from in the game?
Kishi: In the game, the player assumes the role of Anya and collects photo memories of her daily life to complete a photo diary assignment from Eden College. During the day, players can go to school, and by night, they can spend time with the Forger family. On days off, players can go on family outings to the ocean, the aquarium, and other places to collect photo memories to put in Anya's diary.
The game also features more than 15 unique mini games that are specific to SPY x FAMILY. For example, you can avoid a ball when playing Dodgeball by using Anya's Telepathy during mini game. In addition, the four Forger characters can enjoy more than 80 different dress-up options, including costumes from the anime as well as game-original clothing, accessories, and hairstyles that can only be found in the game.
There are 10 types of outings the Forger family can go on in game. How many different kinds of outcomes and experiences can we expect to experience at each location and place? How valuable will it be to return to the same spot multiple times?
Kishi: Depending on the progress of the game, the number of places you can go out will be unlocked. There are 10 locations in total, including the aquarium, museum, castle, and beach. Once you have visited a destination, you can go there as many times as you like and can decide where to go. At each destination, there are many things that Anya likes, such as butterflies and swings. When you find them, take a picture of them. If you take nice pictures, you will be able to collect memories to fill the diary. The "Super Cool! items" will change each time you visit a destination, so try going again and again and taking various photos. Once you have taken all the pictures, you will be able to see the wonderful event of the Forger family.
Which SPY x ANYA: Operation Memories outing was the most fun to implement?
Kishi: There are a total of 10 outings in the game, and the places featured in the anime, such as the museum and castle, are particularly impressive. Players can actually run around in the world of the anime. In addition to the destinations, the game offers the unique experience of running around as Anya in the Forger's house, Eden College, and other familiar places and interacting with characters like Loid, Yor, Damian, Yuri, and Fiona.
Appearances from SPY X FAMILY characters Damian, Becky, Yuri, and Fiona are already confirmed, but are there any other major characters we can expect to see in SPY x ANYA: Operation Memories?
Kishi: At Eden College, you can interact with Anya and her friends' homeroom teacher, Henderson, as well as Damian's friends, Emile and Ewen. You can participate in various mini-games with them, such as playing cards, attending Henderson's class, competing in evaluations, and even playing Dodgeball with Bill, who also appeared in the anime.
When picking out minigames for SPY x ANYA: Operation Memories, what kinds of activities and experiences did you try to prioritize?
Kishi: SPY x FAMILY incorporates unique characters, an outlandish yet heartwarming story, cool action, and comical story, making it popular among a wide range of customers, across all ages. We aimed to captures the essence of Spy x Family and can be enjoyed by anyone who loves the series by game which can be interactive entertainment. After thorough discussions within and outside the company, we developed the gameplay and style for SPY x ANYA: Operation Memories. In this game, players can enjoy unique mini-games based on anime, such as using Anya's telepathy to avoid a ball in Dodgeball, or reading your opponent's thoughts when playing cards. Additionally, there are mini games where players control Loid as "Twilight" to complete missions, Yor as "Thorn Princess" to defeat bad guys, and to run on a Bond.
Now that you've made a sort of life sim based on SPY x FAMILY, is there any other type of game based on the series you'd like to create?
Kishi: Currently, there are no plans for another game. However, as mentioned above, the world of SPY x FAMILY is so rich, I am sure there are other ways to adapt it into another game. We incorporated a lot of the charm of the work into SPY x ANYA, so I hope you will play this game!
Spy x Anya: Operation Memories will come to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 outside Japan on June 28, 2024, with the PC version showing up on Steam on June 27, 2024. The 1.1 Wuthering Waves banners are about to begin, and Kuro Game shared a bit more about Jinhsi and Ages of Harvest. She is the new five-star Resonator, while the weapon is the new five-star broadblade designed with her in mind.
Jinhsi is a Spectro element character in the Wuthering Waves 1.1 character banner, and she's joined on it by the four-star units Danjin, Sanhua, and Yangyang. She played a part in the 1.0 story, and appears alongside the Sentinel Jue. A Resonator Showcase trailer for her showed a bit of her personality outside of a fight, then looked at how she performs in battle. It also shows how her dragonic Sentinel appears alongside her.
As for the four-stars, all three are sword users. Danjin is a Havoc type. Sanhua deals Glacio damage. Yangyang is a master of Aero attacks.
With the 1.1 Wuthering Waves weapon banner, the Ages of Harvest broadsword is the only five-star appearing. It focuses on boosting someone's attack and critical rate. The four-star Amity Accord gauntlet, Commando of Conviction sword, and Discord broadblade also will appear.
Wuthering Waves is available for PCs and mobile devices, and the Jinhsi banner is going to be available in-game until July 22, 2024.

At the end of May 2024, Natsume announced its new Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home game, but didn't have any art or screenshots to share. Now the company took to social media about a month later for the first official reveal.
There are nine images plucked from Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home total, and they offer a peek at avatar options and NPCs in the new game. However, we still don't know about crops, livestock, or love interests based on this initial batch, though a cow, chickens, and a horse do appear. The avatar options highlighted in the images from Natsume show male and female ones will be available. So will different hair and skin colors.
A handful of villagers from Alba also showed up. One is Hugo, a chef who owns a restaurant in town. Another shows an avatar talking to a man named Braden. Harriet looks like the fishing specialist this time around. The design direction for them looks similar to the one used in Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos.
