Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 mods wishlist

What are the best Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 mods? A game like KCD2 is quite a unique experience the first time you play; its quirks make it what it is, and not being able to aim your bow the first time you use it, for instance, is part of the learning curve. Once you have the basics down though, you may want to curate your time in Bohemia, either with small tweaks or sweeping refits that transform the RPG into something new.

With the Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 release date finally here, players are getting to grips with life in Henry's shoes, pushing the limits of what is possible in the medieval RPG, and no doubt building a wishlist of additions they would like to see. Thankfully, the modding scene for the first KCD was very healthy and saw a slew of augments ranging from a simple crosshair when aiming to the inclusion of lightsabers. Let's just say we're hopeful that Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 will outstrip its predecessor in that regard.

How long is Avowed? Obsidian Entertainment isn't known for pumping out 100-hour-plus RPGs, and for time-strapped writers such as ourselves, that's pretty darn neat. Avowed isn't set to buck the trend, but that's not to say the Pillars of Eternity spinoff won't have plenty in store for you to get on with in the Living Lands.

Best battle royale games to play in 2025

What are the best battle royale games? Each one of these multiplayer games revolves around one core idea: lots of players go in, and only one can leave. Battle royale is a violent, unpredictable, and frenzied multiplayer mode where the only goal is to endure until you're the sole survivor. All tactics and styles of play are equally viable in the best battle royale games. You can win by hiding in bushes and waiting for the herd to thin out, or scavenge a weapon and start reducing the numbers yourself.

With the explosion of free PC games like Fortnite, Warzone, and Apex Legends, you would be forgiven for thinking there are only three battle royales out there, but there are now numerous other contenders to challenge them, each with its own spin on the established formula. Whether you're after a battle royale FPS game or an inventive new twist on the formula, there's something out there for everyone. So, to help you broaden your horizons, we have assembled this handy guide to the best battle royale games on PC.

Forget The Sims, Blood Bar Tycoon lets you run your own vampire restaurant

My favorite Sims expansion is Makin' Magic. I remember being enticed by its navy blue cover art, which contrasted starkly with the vibrant orange of Superstar and yellow of Vacation. Its twisting Curlz MT-esque font whispered mystery, silhouettes of gnome-like creatures, and a man in a horse mask really added to its distinct 'wtf' feel. I immediately fell in love with Vicki Vampiress, the eerie bloodsucker in Magic Town, and have always wondered what a vampire version of the original Sims would look like. Fortunately, Blood Bar Tycoon answers all of those questions, throwing in some extra restaurant management to boot.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 lockpicking explained

How does Kingdome Come Deliverance 2 lockpicking work? Everyone in Bohemia has a life, believe it or not. They all wander in the day, work their job, drink in the tavern, whatever they like. Because of this, it also means that they have things - possessions, savings, whatever it is they've worked to get. These things can be yours if you don't mind getting your hands dirty.

One of the best aspects of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is the freedom it offers; the main story missions can be approached from a multitude of directions, and your life outside of that is truly yours in the RPG. You can be an honest laborer to earn money, or you can do what some of us did and steal everything that wasn't nailed to the floor. That said, you'll first need to know how lockpicking works to gain access to what people care about most.

Warhorse's medieval muck-o-rama Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 launches today. It's an engrossing RPG, despite developer co-founder Dan Vávra's tendency to throw his weight behind alt-right harassment campaigns. Also, a relatively bug-free one.

In the course of my 51 hours as reviewer, I've encountered only a smattering of more significant technical issues. Firstly, some heavy slowdown while roaming Trosky Castle, the centerpiece of the opening Bohemian Paradise region, which I resolved by quitting and reloading. Secondly, a mildly terrifying moment in a dugout when a wounded soldier I was supposed to be treating struck a T-pose, as though afflicted by lightning early onset arthritis. And thirdly a repeated crash bug which I feel warrants its own article given that, together with Deliverance 2's eccentric saving system, it cost me several hours of progress.

Several hours in, it's become apparent that I lack the patience for much of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's much-publicised historical accuracies, like needing to bathe yourself every six minutes or how 15th century Bohemians can take several consecutive sword swings to the neck without dying. Ah well! If you're going to play it, know that it's also a decent performer on PC – despite the almost threatening tone of its recommended system requirements – and, as far as I can see, isn't anywhere near as bug-prone as the infamously unstable original.

See the New Evelyn Zenless Zone Zero Gameplay Trailer

Ahead of the Evelyn Chevalier debut in Zenless Zone Zero, there's a gameplay trailer showing how the new character fights. We get to see her use an array of kicks and punches, as well as attacks that pull her into opponents via strings, in the latest footage.

Things begin with Evelyn heading into a supposedly "safe" area. It turns out not to be, and enemies are waiting for her. She then uses her strings and fire-based physical attacks to fight back. Astra Yao, the character who she works alongside as. her manager, shows up as well to show how they can play off of each other. As Astra is a Supporter, she can buff the Attacker when she's off-field.

Here's the Zenless Zone Zero Evelyn gameplay trailer:

She also appeared a while back in the Astra Everyday Scenes video in a managerial role.

We're going to be see this new character very soon in Zenless Zone Zero. Her banner drops before Valentine's Day 2025. She'll be in-game on February 12, 2025, marking the second character from the Stars of Lyra Faction. That's also when a Qingyi banner returns. Both of them will feature Anton Ivanov and Nicole Demara as featured A-rank units.

Final Fantasy Pouches Turn a Chocobo and Moogle Into a Coin Purse

Square Enix is now selling two coin purse designs based on the Final Fantasy Chocobo and Moogle mascots, with a mini keychain pouch available for each character. Orders are open at the official store for $21.99 each. Both are expected to ship in August 2025. They'll launch in Japan on May 24, 2025

Both of these pouches are about two and a half inches long and an inch and a half wide. A small zipper at the top is used for opening and closing it, and there is a charm with the sound the character makes on it as a zipper pull. So the Chocobo's says "kue," while the Moogle's reads, "kupo." The Moogle one is slightly taller at about three and a half inches tall, but that's due to the pom pom at the top of its head. Both items are made of silicone, and they can be wiped clean if they get dirty.

Here are the official photos for each of the items. In both cases, Square Enix offered a sense of scale by showing the pouches alongside things they are capable of holding. So we can see each one holding medicine in one photo, and in another there is an earphone case next to it.

It is very common for Square Enix to release generic Final Fantasy "cute" merchandise with a Chocobo and Moogle as the stars. For example, plush toys of both types of mascots often appear.

The Final Fantasy Chocobo and Moogle mini pouch coin purse keychains will launch in August 2025 worldwide, following a May 24, 2025 Japanese debut.

Monster Hunter Wilds snow art at the 2025 Sapporo Snow Festival

Capcom announced that it has set up a snow sculpture art based on its upcoming game Monster Hunter Wilds at the 2025 Sapporo Snow Festival. People who are residing in the capital city of Japan's Hokkaido prefecture can see the sculpture at Odori Park until February 11, 2025.

The Monster Hunter Wilds snow sculpture features a Palico Felyne and the monster Arkveld, with another separate block featuring an engraving of the game's logo. While the Palico has been regarded as the series' mascot, Capcom chose Arkveld not only because it is the flagship monster that will appear in the new game's boxart, but also because its "White Wraith" nickname also fits well with the white snow sculpture.

The Sapporo Snow Festival, which is held annually in the city, has occasionally featured sculptures based on famous Japanese game and anime franchises. For example, in the 2024 edition, Bandai Namco set up a snow sculpture modeled after the Rising Freedom Gundam from the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom movie, which launched in the same year.

The 2025 Sapporo Snow Festival takes place from February 4 to 11, 2025. One of the snow sculptures in the event features Monster Hunter Wilds, which Capcom will release worldwide for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC on February 28, 2025.

Street Fighter 6 Mai Shiranui fighting pass

Capcom released a new Street Fighter 6 Fighting Pass a day ahead of the addition of the Mai Shiranui DLC, and it features a virtual cosplay option. The new pass, which is titled "Say Hello To Mai!," contains more Fatal Fury-inspired content that includes a set of avatar gear and emotes for players to dress up as one of SNK's most iconic fighting game characters.

The new Street Fighter 6 Fighting Pass includes three music tracks from Fatal Fury Special that feature not only Mai Shiranui's stage, but also ones from Kim Kaphwan and Duck King's stages. In addition, the new sticker lineup features Rock Howard, B. Jenet, Tizoc, Terry Bogard, and Kaphwan's son Kim Dong Hwan, all of which are also slated to appear in SNK's upcoming release of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves in April 2025.

Capcom also added one of its arcade games with a closely related theme in the same pass. The game in question is the 1989 arcade action game Strider, which starred the ninja Strider Hiryu.

Capcom has also published a new official trailer showcasing the Fighting Pass' content on YouTube, which shows what it would be like to cosplay as Mai Shiranui in Street Fighter 6.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBWWZOdPG1M

The Street Fighter 6 development team has been in a collaborative mood ever since it added Terry Bogard in September 2024. The Fighting Passes that appeared around his release added Fatal Fury content that includes avatar gear sets based on Andy Bogard, Joe Higashi, and Geese Howard. The collaboration will also go the other way, as SNK will add Ken and Chun-Li as DLC playable characters in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.

Street Fighter 6 is readily available worldwide on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Mai Shiranui will formally join the game's roster on February 5, 2025.

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero set new series record speed in reaching 5 million copies sold

Bandai Namco announced that it has sold over 5 million copies of Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero as of the end of 2024. The company added that the 3D fighter game set a new speed sales record on reaching the specific milestone throughout the entire Dragon Ball game series.

The company has previously revealed that it recorded 3 million copies of the game sold within just 24 hours since it officially came out worldwide on October 11, 2024. It therefore took around two and a half more months until the end of December 2024 to add 2 million more units of Sparking Zero to the 5 million tally.

Sparking Zero has generated a lot of interest even before its release, as the new game has not only a massive roster of over 180 characters but also features like custom battle cutscenes. The availability of additional languages for emerging markets like Latin America and Southeast Asia, as well as the still-unusually simultaneous PC release in Japan, also contributed to the sales performance. But even after its release, Bandai Namco still supports the game with DLC and update patches, the latter of which range from gameplay rebalancing to QoL improvements.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero is available worldwide on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

Hana-Kimi Finally Inspiring an Anime Adaptation

Hakusensha announced the classic shojo manga series Hanazakari no Kimitachi e, better known as Hana-Kimi, will finally inspire an anime adaptation, and Crunchyroll confirmed it will be the streaming source for it outside of Japan. The official site and a trailer are live now. However, there is no release window yet, so we don't know when it will air.

While some details aren't certain, many things have been confirmed. After being inspired by an athlete named Izumi Sano, Mizuki Ashiya becomes determined to attend the same school as him. However, only men can attend Osaka High School, so she has to disguise herself as one to attend. Not only does Mizuki get close to Izumi, he ends up learning her secret and helping her hide it. Another major character is Shuichi Nakatsu, who rounds out the love triangle by being a classmate and friend who ends up falling for her without learning her secret.

All three leads were already revealed on the official site. Aya Yamane, who has been Liliana in Re:Zero and Deimos in Sailor Moon Eternal, is Mizuki. Izumi is Taku Yashiro, who played Ephraim in recent Fire Emblem games like Engage and Iskahn in Sword Art Online series and games. We'll hear Kikunosuke Toya, who most recently played Denji in Chainsaw Man, as Shuichi.

Here's the first trailer for the Hana-Kimi anime adaptation.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9feK5OU8LnM&ab_channel=Crunchyroll

Years ago, Viz Media handled the US release of the Hana-Kimi manga. While single volumes aren't available, the company did start releasing 3-in-1 omnibus editions back in 2012. The series ended back in 2004.

The Hana-Kimi anime is in development, and the manga is available worldwide.

God Eater 15th Anniversary

The God Eater series of hunting action games has reached its 15th anniversary on February 4, 2025. The games' publisher Bandai Namco celebrated the occasion by tweeting a new illustration on the series' official Japanese X account.

The illustration features two key characters from each of the three mainline God Eater entries released as of 2025. They are Soma Schicksal and Alisa Illinichna Amiella from the first God Eater, Julius Visconti and Ciel Alencon from God Eater 2, and Hugo Pennywort and Claire Victorious from God Eater 3. In an addendum to the tweet, Bandai Namco announced that it will produce and sell new merchandise based on the new illustrations.

Key staff members of the God Eater series, such as Yusuke Tomizawa and Hiroshi Yoshimura, have also tweeted celebrations for the 15th anniversary milestone on their respective X accounts. Bandai Namco has since appointed Tomizawa to take charge of the Tales Of series, while Yoshimura is still primarily credited as the general director of God Eater.

Bandai Namco originally planned to hold multiple major events in 2020 when the God Eater series reached its 10th anniversary. However, it canceled all of them due to the global lockdowns caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, the company celebrated subsequent anniversaries in a more subtle way by opening temporary merchandise stores. In addition, the company has not released a new game for the series since God Eater 3 came out in Japan in December 2018 and worldwide in February 2019.

The first God Eater title appeared on the PlayStation Portable in Japan on February 4, 2010. All three enhanced mainline entries—God Eater Resurrection, God Eater 2 Rage Burst, and God Eater 3—are playable on PlayStation 4 and PC. The first two entries also came out on the PlayStation Vita, while God Eater 3 is additionally available on Nintendo Switch.

Where to find the fresh graves new Troskowitz in KCD2

After parting ways with Sir Hans in Troskowitz at the beginning of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you'll officially enter the open-world portion of the game. You'll overhear guards talking about some fresh graves nearby. Here is where you can find the fresh graves near Troskowitz in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

Fresh Grave Location near Troskowitz in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Fresh Graves location near Troskowitz

You can find the fresh graves to the southwest of Troskowitz near the tree line. Head west out of Troskowitz then south down the road until you pass the farm fields and the hill starts going down towards the trees. As you approach the trees, you will find a couple of graves amongst the bushes and rocks scattered near the treeline. These are the fresh graves you are looking for.

Should you rob the graves?

You have the option of robbing the fresh graves, both for free loot and also to acquire information as to who lies inside them. Keep in mind you will need a Spade to dig up the fresh graves, as you cannot do so with your bare hands. You can buy a Spade from the merchant in Troskowitz, though it will cost you 6.7 Groschen. I simply went outside the town and collected a bunch of Sage and Chamomille to trade with the merchant for the Spade. You only get 0.1 Groschen per, but you get several each time you gather.

I would recommend robbing the graves because this early on in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 you have pretty much nothing, and the loot is worthwhile. For example, one grave has a Von Bergow Knight Shield in it, which has 263 Defence but is also worth 249.6 Groschen, a massive value this early on. You'll also get a Bearded Axe and Flanged Mace, both of which are better weapon options than your current Hunting Sword.

If you choose to rob the graves, make sure you loot the bodies in both of them. One is located near the big rock closer to the road, while the other is under the small tree with a cross hanging from it.

Itadori is attacking a Roblox Player in Jujutsu Odyssey

If you're reading this, chances are you've made it to the final entrance exam of Jujutsu Odyssey, got stuck, and are now looking for help. Trust us, you aren't alone. This was one of the worst experiences we've ever had in any Roblox game, and when you consider some of the things we've played, that's saying a lot.

Honestly, if this exam doesn't get SIGNIFICANTLY easier, we're pretty confident the player count will drop SIGNIFICANTLY soon. But enough of our rants; you're here for a guide, and you're getting one. Here's how to pass the Entrance Exam in Jujutsu Odyssey.

How the Entrance Exam works

The into cutscene of Jujutsu Odyssey entrance exam
Screenshot by Destructoid

The entrance exam consists of FOUR tests. Yes, not three, FOUR. Despite the NPCs telling you there are only three, there are actually four. Here's the best (and we actually mean "worst") part: you only have three lives for this test. If you lose all your lives during the exam, you have to do EVERYTHING again.

Yes, even if you die at the very last bit, you need to start from the first test. Wanna know how many tries it took us to finish this? Four! Call it a "skill issue" if you want, but having such a huge difficulty spike so early is just bad game design if you ask us. This wouldn't be so bad if the controls in the game worked and if the game actually gave you an actual fighting chance, but we digress. Here's how to pass each of the tests.

Don't forget to spend all your skill points before you start this test. We're telling you this because the game sure isn't going to.

One saving grace is that you can do this with other players. We wanted to see if it was possible with just one person, and while it is, we HIGHLY recommend you bring someone along. Trust us, doing this solo should be illegal.

Test 1 - Finding the three cursed seals

The easiest of the three tests is finding the three seals. They are always in the same locations but usually spawn one at a time, in no particular order. Here are the three locations:

  • The Shrine just above the quest giver Miwa
  • The very tip top of the tallest tower (left of the quest giver)
  • Behind the waterwheel near the second Quest giver Todo

You're supposed to listen for sound queues and look for them, but just check each of the locations and you should be good to go and ready for the next exam.

Test 2 - Killing 10 Semi-grade 3 Sorcerers

A Jujutsu Odyssey NPC is talking about Jennifer Lawrence
Screenshot by Destructoid

Talk to Todo and tell him that you're the type of woman is a tall one like Jennifer Lawrence (we're rolling our eyes). He'll order you to take out 10 mobs just next to him. This part isn't too difficult but can get really annoying if you aren't careful.

A Jujutsu Odyssey player is about to fight NPC mobs
Screenshot by Destructoid

The Semi-grade 3 Sorcerers are pretty much the same as the Deliquents you've fought OH SO MANY times during the beginning of the game. We advise you to bait them one at a time, block their first attack, and proceed to beat them. Rinse and repeat this, and you should be good. The only problem here is: that destroying 10 of them takes a while.

Once you get the last one, report to Todo, and he will send you to the final test (NOT!).

Test 3 - Jin Inumake and Honomura

Note: During either of these fights, you can simply RUN AWAY. Yup, we did it and we aren't ashamed to admit it. If you feel like you are going to lose a life, just run back to where the principal Yaga is and wait for your health to recover. It takes a few minutes, which is annoying but the good news is that the bosses don't recover their health. Sure, it's dishonorable, but so is this entire quest, so we don't really care.

Follow the quest marker, and you'll meet up with Principal Yaga. He congratulates you and says not many make it this far (hey after that tutorial, we're surprised WE made it this far, and we write guides like this for a living). He tasks you, a new potential student, with beating two of the best students in the academy. Simple, right? Yeah, we died at this part twice.

Let's start with the easier one: Jin Inumake (the right one). Once you learn his pattern, he is relatively easy. He fires a force push at you, which can knock you back quite far and damage you. Thankfully, if you learn how to anticipate and block this, you shouldn't have too much trouble taking him out. So, either block or avoid his force attack, get behind him, punch him, rinse, and repeat.

Now for Honomura (the left one), who is definitely tougher. Honomura has fire attacks. He can make a volcanic explosion from the ground, and he can also fire a strong flame from his fists. Both of these are tough, and you definitely should avoid them with the dash. If you don't, you can kill 30% of your health goodbye.

The way we beat him was: to dodge one of his fire attacks, charge at him (he should charge back at you), block his attack, and proceed to pummel him. Of course, this is easier said than done. Even when Honomura is busy using his fire attack, he can decide in the last second he wants to hit you instead, so definitely block his attack before damaging him. Keep doing this until you beat him. Don't forget to run away if your health gets too low. We died twice during this bit, so don't despair if it happens to you too.

Test 4 - Sukuna

Just when you think you are done with this nightmare, Itadori appears and turns into Sukuna. Seeing how the examiners have nothing better to do, they figure they may as well add this to your test. What fun!

Sukuna has three phases. Thankfully, the first two phases are super-easy, but the third one gave us a lot of headaches.

During the first phase, Sukuna will jump up on one of the towers and use an AoE attack on you. The AoE does a bit of damage, but it's super easy to avoid. What you need to do in the meantime is punch the tower Sukuna is on. Normally, you can get one string of combos on the tower before you have to dodge the AoE attack. So, keep doing this until the tower is destroyed and Sukuna falls. When Sukuna is down, he won't be able to move, so take this opportunity to beat him. Punch him until he disappears and re-appears on top of another tower. Just repeat the process again, seriously, this is the easy part. Do this until you get his health to around 70%.

Screenshot by Destructoid

During phase 2, you will fight Sukuna 1 on 1. Notice that underneath his red health bar, there is another gray bar. This is Sukuna's stagger meter. It will start depleting fast. When it's all the way down, Sukuna will be stunned for a few seconds, which is your chance to damage him.

While he isn't staggered, Sukuna will try to run and melee you with an occasional AoE attack for good measure. All of these can easily be dodged with a good dash attack. So, essentially, just avoid Sukuna until his stagger bar gets all the way down, then go for a few attacks (you can usually do three sets of combo attacks), and then rinse and repeat. Keep this up until you get him to around 40%, which is where the toughest part begins.

Phase 3... and this is where we died twice. It's essentially the same as phase 2, with one huge exception. Sukuna will use Domain Expansion. If he pulls you into his domain, you have precious little seconds to use your Evasive ability and escape. Otherwise, you'll just get damaged... A LOT. We're not even kidding, even after doing this three times, we still aren't sure how the devs expected players to do this.

What you need to do: is run FAR, FAR, FAR, away when Sukuna starts using Domain Expansion. If you get caught, and you probably will a few times, you lose more than half your health. Sometimes we managed to avoid these, sometimes, we didn't. With that said, if you manage to avoid enough of these, and still have health and lives to spare, you can eventually kill him. Some players even got Sukuna stuck behind a wooden pillar and managed to cheese the fight that way, but that didn't work for us.

When you manage to destroy him, you'll get two chests. One with a random reward and one with a Cursed Womb (which gives you your first Cursed Technique), and you can actually start playing the game.

If you get frustrated during this fight and quit, we really don't blame you. If it wasn't our job to do these guides, we would have quit long ago.

That's all there is to it. Good luck with the entrance exam. If you need a boost, check out our Jujutsu Odyssey codes.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 romance options

The core gameplay of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 might be focused largely on war and turmoil, but you can also choose to fall in love with various characters based on your tastes and preferences.

Warhorse Studios' follow-up to their hugely popular Henry simulator allows players to jump into a brand new journey set in the medieval 15th century. There's plenty of scope if you want to romance other NPCs, and we have already discovered a fair few.

Disclaimer: List to be updated as we come across more options.

Complete list of romance options in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Most characters have certain requirements before Henry (or you) gets to romance with them. Once you have cleared those requirements, you'll find a dialog option that will have the heart icon beside it.

Character How to romance
Ladies in the Bathhouse Certain settlements in the game have a bathhouse where you'll be able to get your clothes washed. Doing so will allow you to improve the effects of Charisma. You'll meet different maids in the bathhouse, and you can choose to romance them. Unlike some of the other characters, taking this option will be easier, and all you have to do is speak with the proprietor.
Black Bartoush Along with Johanka, you can romance with Bartoush during a specific part of the campaign. You'll have to first interact with feasting folks in the quest called For Victory. This will open up the romance option required for Black Bartoush, which can be selected by just talking with him.
Widow Johanka You can romance with Widow Johanka in the For Victory quest as well. You'll have to choose responses with skill checks, and manage to pass all of them successfully.
Doubravka You'll first meet Doubravka's mother in the Wedding Crashes main quest. You'll find her standing right next to the courtyard entrance, and she will ask you to dance with her daughter. Choose the following responses.
Impression: "Don't worry about the people."
Persuasion: "You dance like an elf."
It ends with Doubravka wanting to show you a secret (only meant for Henry's eyes).
Klara The main quest, Back in the Saddle, introduces you to Klara. At Nebakov Fortress, complete the following steps to get the romance option with her.
First, walk with Klara and tell her a few of your tales.
Tell her you know something about herbs once you reach the glade. You'll have to collect Marigold, Sage, and Poppies for her.
When she asks you to look deeper in the forest, you'll find an option to disclose your suspicions (don't). Instead, keep indulging her, and she will have a riddle. Just respond with "I think she's called Klara," and you will win her over.
Lousy Mary You'll find Mary in a bathhouse at Kuttenberg. She's part of the main quest Into the Underworld, and she has an optional dialog quest where you get to have a drink with her.
Rosa Ruthard To romance with Rosa, you'll probably have to complete her story arc as she's a key support character. You'll meet her during Via Argentum, and she will be part of several quests. Keep indulging her so that you get to know more about her.

Ultimately, romancing in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 isn't a mere gimmick, as Henry will get the "Time Well Spent" buff, which temporarily grants Henry's Strength, Agility, and Vitality by +1.

Oryx on the Dreadnaught in Destiny 2.

Stop me if you've heard this one before. It's launch day for some new Destiny 2 content, but irrepressible error codes and server instability make the title impossible to access. That's what's playing out right now for Episode: Heresy, with the final Episode stumbling right out of the gates.

Destiny 2 really needs a win right about now. The live-service game hasn't had a good year, with mediocre, bug-filled Episodes replacing the old Seasonal model. The hope was that Bungie was saving the best for last, that Heresy would re-inspire some faith in players after months of negative press and controversies. However, the launch of Episode: Heresy did not inspire confidence, coming online with a slurry of error codes preventing most players from doing much more than reaching Orbit.

Server maintenance has been extended

https://twitter.com/BungieHelp/status/1886857440286658845?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Etweet&mx=2

While it doesn't seem like the vast majority of players can access the new content Episode: Heresy brings or remain in-game to do much else, Bungie is aware of the situation. Almost immediately after the Episode went live, the studio initially commented on X via its Bungie Help account, noting, "We're currently investigating stability issues and a rise in various errors codes, including PLUM. More information will be provided when available."

It seems that in addition to the instability brought alongside the Heresy update, some other aspects of the game might have been broken, too. The team accidentally turned back on elemental surges in Raids, which had been a previous controversy side-stepped by disabling the modifiers. As of now, it appears as though elemental surges are enabled in most Raids but not all. Unfortunately, a fix will have to go by the wayside while Bungie irons out the stability issues miring Episode: Heresy.

"Note, today's server and stability issues are our top priority to fix," the studio explained. "We appreciate your patience while we continue our investigation." From there, it wasn't too much longer before Bungie officially extended official Destiny 2 downtime. Hopefully, this immediate snafu isn't the first taste of what players can expect from the new Episode.

Destiny 2 is certainly no stranger to server issues or extended downtime, especially surrounding the launch of new content, but this was not the time to fall back into old habits. Either way, Heresy did not create the best first impressions right out of the gate.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 dice minigame

Throughout your Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 adventure, you'll journey through Europe, battle hundreds of enemy soldiers, and maybe even romance someone along the way. Where there are intense battles and diplomatic relations, there's downtime for relaxing at taverns and playing some Dice.

You'll first encounter the Dice minigame with Tankard, a fellow soldier known for making wagers in every game he plays. Later on, you'll meet others with similar interests, giving you some chances to win money, quest items, or some personal satisfaction. Here's a complete guide on winning Dice in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.

How to play Dice in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

Dice is a luck-based minigame in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 where you and your opponent roll six dice, create point combinations, and race to reach a specified points goal. With each turn, you must hold at least one scoring dice and can choose between rerolling to score more points but risk busting and losing it all or passing the turn to your opponent.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 dice combination points
Screenshot by Destructoid

What is busting, though? During Dice, you can bust if you choose to roll your dice but don't have any point combinations to hold. For example, if you're already holding five dice and roll a dice that doesn't fit into your current combinations, you'll bust for that turn and lose the points you otherwise would've received.

Generally speaking, your goal is to collect as many points as possible without busting. Even if you score only a few hundred points between unlucky dice rolls, a couple of dice are better than none. However, you can also strategize which dice you take to set up potential combinations or add value to those you've already claimed.

Dice controls for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2's Dice minigame controls differ slightly between controllers and keyboard/mouse. One thing stays consistent, though: you can quickly tap certain buttons to hold and score your dice while passing and giving up requires holding so you don't accidentally press them and end the round instantly. Here's the complete list of controls for the Dice minigame on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation:

Action PC Xbox PS
Hold die E A X
Score and continue F X Square
Score and pass Q (hold) Y (hold) Triangle (hold)
Give up Esc (hold) B (hold) Circle (hold)

Tips and tricks for winning Dice in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

The number one rule for winning the Dice minigame is to bust as little as possible. Busting wipes your progress for that turn, clearing your currently held dice and moving on to your opponent's turn. If you already have a solid combination, it's often worth scoring and passing your turn rather than trying to go for extra points unless you have a solid lead or feel confident you'll land what you need.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 dice bust
Screenshot by Destructoid

However, while getting dice combinations is important, they won't carry over between multiple rolls. Here's a practical example: let's say you roll a one and a random assortment of dice. The one is the only scoring dice on the table, so you'll certainly want to take it. During the next roll, even if you roll two more ones, they won't add up to 1,000 since you didn't get all three ones in one go. Instead, you'd end up with 300 points. This isn't the worst roll, and those points can often save you in some close matches, but there are better options. Similarly, you won't be able to hold two sixes in hopes of getting a third one later, as whatever you hold has to score points each time.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 dice combination
Screenshot by Destructoid

Let's use another example. You immediately roll three sixes, a five, and various other dice during your turn. Right away, you'll want the sixes: these give you 600 points immediately and open the opportunity to get additional points if you score more. However, you now have a choice: do you want to take those sixes and the five before passing, or try for one more six? In this case, you can reroll the five and hold the sixes before trying to roll a one, five, or an additional six, but there's no shame in passing to keep a safe roll.

Overall, Dice is a luck-based game, so you'll have some incredibly lucky (and unlucky) rolls here and there. You may spend a few rounds having a massive lead over your opponent, only for them to roll a straight and score 1,500 points instantly. Sometimes, that's just the way the cookie crumbles. Fortunately, there's a chance the same can happen to you, pushing you toward a quick and satisfying victory without much further thought. Depending on where you are in your Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 playthrough, you might even win an item that'll help you feed your companion, Mutt.

Cosmoem evolutions in Pokémon GO

Choosing the best evolution of Cosmoem in Pokémon GO isn't straightforward. Both Solgaleo and Lunala have pros and cons, with one possibly more beneficial. Let's examine both to determine the best Cosmoem evolution in Pokémon GO.

How to evolve Cosmoem into Solgaleo or Lunala in Pokémon Go

You'll need to spend 100 Cosmog Candies to evolve Cosmoeum, but don't get too happy with your trigger finger once you finally net the one-hundredth Candy. Whether Cosmoeum evolves into Solgaleo or Lunala depends on whether you evolve it during the day or at night. As I'm sure you can guess, evolving Cosmoem during the day will transform them into Solgaleo, and doing the same at night will turn them into Lunala.

Solgaleo

Solgaleo in Pokemon Go

From a colorful cloud to a galaxy in a cage, Cosmoem's evolution to Solgaleo is a glow-up. This 11-foot-tall lion is metal from tail to mane. It also reminds me of Zoids, so that's a plus in my book. Following the space theme, the name Solgaleo references the Sun and Galileo, the scientist who first theorized that the Earth orbits around the Sun, not the other way around. Its face resembles our closest star's fiery corona, especially when its bejeweled mane unfolds to it's full width. Despite these changes, Solgaleo keeps a bit of Cosmoem's aesthetic in its forehead, which looks like stars under glass. It also radiates light and can travel through Ultra Wormholes.

With an Attack of 255, a Defense of 191, and a Stamina of 264, Solgaleo is a sturdy Pokémon with a max HP of 220. The downside is that it is vulnerable to several types, including Fire, Dark, Ground, and Ghost- types-Pokemon. This means there's a greater chance of facing off against an opponent who can do a bit of damage. Even then, though, Solgaleo will resist much of that damage. Maybe the most useful is the resistance to fellow Steel-type Pokémon.

Best moveset for Solgaleo in Pokémon Go

As a dedicated attacker, Solgaleo is at its best when working with a move set that allows it to deal with consistent damage. Zen Headbutt is a fantastic primary move since it recharges fast and benefits from the same-type attack bonus. Solar Beam is a great secondary move, thematically and mechanically. Not only does it draw on the sun's power, but it's also super-effective against Ground, one of Solgaleo's chief weaknesses.

Best teammates for Solgaleo in Pokémon Go

As a Legendary Pokemon, Solgaleo's counters are Pokémon on a similar power scale. Fire-type legendaries like Reshiram and Primal Groudon pose the biggest threat to Solgaleo, but ghost-types like Gengar and Chandelure can also cause a lot of damage to this lion. As a result, you'll want to pair Solgaleo up with solid Water-types like Primal Kyogre or Mega Groudon.

Alternatively, Solgaelo can be a fantastic addition to a team struggling with Fairy-type Pokemon. While it's primarily an attacker, Solgaleo's defense is nothing to sneeze at, and it can be a good ally for Rayquza and Dialga.

Lunala

Lunala in Pokemon Go

Lunala is one of my favorite-looking Legendary Pokemon. Its design is what I'd call "hauntingly elegant," a bizarre mix of the celestial and the macabre that criticals my hits something fierce. This oversized fruit bat's brittle, skeletal body contrasts with its beautiful, shimmering wings. Like Solgaleo, Lunala's design still has a few leftover elements from its Cosmoeum days, particularly the golden trim of Cosmoeum's orb. Its wings fan out when it attacks, making it look almost perfectly circular, and the third eye glowing on its forehead ties it all together in a nice bow.

Lunala has the same attack and defense stats as Solgaleo, but it only has two weaknesses: Dark-type Pokémon and other Ghost-types. However, both these types are doubly super-effective against Lunala, dealing four times the damage they normally would when they hit. While Lunala doesn't have to worry about as many types as Solgaleo does, the types it is weak to are so effective against it that sending it out in battle is always an enormous gamble.

Best moveset for Lunala in Pokémon Go

Lunala doesn't have a diverse move pool, but it has access to some of the most powerful moves of its respective types. Confusion is the perfect main move for Lunala, able to deal a respectable amount of damage quickly and reliably. Shadow Ball is the best pick for the second slot since it recharges fairly quickly and can deal a lot of damage to other Ghost-types, covering one of the Lunala's two weaknesses.

Best teammates for Solgaleo in Pokémon Go

You'll probably send Lunala against other Legendaries, Mega-evolved Pokémon, and other heavy-hitters. While Lunala can hold its own against other mighty Ghost-types like Mega Gengar, its Dark-type weakness can cripple it if it doesn't have teammates who can deal with that weakness. Mega Gallade and Mega Gardivor are great picks since they boost confusion and have options to deal with dark types.

As a teammate, Lunala is a fantastic partner to any Pokemon weak to Psychic, Poison, and Ghost-types. Its high attack and decent defense give it an edge in Gym and Raid battles, especially against competitive mainstays like Shadow Mewtwo.

How to get Cosmoem in Pokémon GO

Cosmog in Pokemon Go
Screenshot by Destructoid

The only way to get a Cosmoem is to evolve a Cosmog with 25 Candies. Fortunately, you can get a Cosmog by completing the Cosmic Companion Special Research.

Select the binoculars icon and press the 'Special' tab for this. To catch the Cosmog, complete the following tasks:

  • Catch 15 Pokémon
  • Make 10 Curveball throws
  • Catch 15 Psychic types

Compared to other Field Research tasks, Cosmic Companion is relatively easy to achieve, especially when Psychic types are around. After this, a Cosmog encounter starts, providing you with this Pokémon, 500 Stardust, and 1,000 XP.

Now that you have the creature needed for the Cosmoem evolution, it's time to gather Cosmog Candy. The candy can be gained when the Cosmog is your active Buddy or from other Field Research tasks.

Cosmic Companion's fourth phase provides 25 Candies, which is the exact amount for the evolution. It only requires you to catch three Pokémon, so it shouldn't take too long. I suggest saving this procedure for the Field Research mission's next step, as it involves the Cosmog's evolution for more rewards.

The Best cosmoem evolution Pokémon GO?

Cosmog evolution in Pokemon Go

Strategically, Solgaleo is the safer bet because of its greater number of resistances and higher bulk. You may run into more weaknesses with the lion, but at least you could have a shot at winning if you've leveled the Emmisary of the Sun enough. Its unique typing gives Solgaleo an edge in Raids and Gym battles, especially if it's equipped with Solar Beam, which can take on Primal Kyogre and other common Gym guardians.

If Lunala had higher stats, I would say go for the bat! Lunala grew on me. It's weaknesses to Ghost and Dark are hard to get around, but it can hold it's own in PvP, especially against trainers who like to run Shadow Mewtwo. It can even do pretty well in Gym battles against meta-dominators like Metagross.

EA FC 25 Mason Mount Flashback SBC solutions

The Mason Mount Flashback SBC is now live in EA FC 25, and you can complete the SBC to unlock a special card for your Ultimate Team squad.

This is the first time that Mount has received a special card in Ultimate Team this year, and this version goes back to his hay days at Chelsea. To play with the item, you'll have to complete all the tasks that are part of the SBC. Let's take a look at the easiest way to complete the challenge, and if it's worth your resources at all.

EA FC 25 Mason Mount Flashback SBC tasks

The Mason Mount Flashback SBC has two tasks, and here are the requirements.

Task 1 - Top Form

  • Min. 1 Players: Team of the Week
  • Min. Team Rating: 85

Task 2 - Premier League

  • Min. 1 Players from: Premier League
  • Min. Team Rating: 86

EA FC 25 Mason Mount Flashback SBC solutions

Here's a set of solution you can use to unlock the latest Mason Mount card in Ultimate Team.

Task 1 - Top Form

  • Any 10 85-rated items
  • Any 83-rated TOTW item

Task 2 - Premier League

  • Saka 87
  • Hasegawa 84
  • Gakpo 83
  • Carpenter 83
  • Pajor 87
  • Swanson 87
  • Palacios 84
  • Popp 87
  • Marquinhos 87
  • Icardi 83
  • Iago Aspas 84

The new Flashback is priced pretty decently at just 100,000 coins worth of fodder, but the main issue lies elsewhere. As a card, this Mount item has decent stats and playstyles, along with 5* Weak Foot. However, we are now in a meta that is dominated by TOTY cards with 3 PlayStyles+. Having cards with two good PlayStyles+ is pretty important, which begs the question about why EA Sports has released this card at all.

The only viable option with this card is to complete the SBC, and hope for a future evolution which allows you to improve its stats and playstyles. Otherwise, most players already have better options in their existing squads.

Fighting in KCD2

During the Easy Riders quest, you must choose between three playstyles to help set you up for the rest of the journey. We're here to show you the best playstyle to start with in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, including details on stats.

What is the best starting playstyle in KCD2?

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 offers three starting playstyles: Soldier, Adviser, and Scout. Soldier is a standard option in most RPGs, as you harness a weapon and suit of armor. As for the Adviser, this role helps out with conversations, differing from the stealthy maneuvers of the Scout. Of the three, Adviser is the best choice for your starting playstyle, offering better conversation dialogue options.

Picking a playstyle in KCD2
Screenshot by Destructoid

Conversations can always be a bit tricky, as many dialogue choices can lead to unwanted conflict. So, to lessen the risk, the Adviser role will likely smooth things over during intense moments. However, there's nothing wrong with choosing the Soldier or Scout paths, especially if they better suit your playstyle. Although these playstyles won't have as many dialogue advantages as Adviser, there may still be a chance to turn the tide in your favor. For example, I tried the Soldier route first and persuaded an enemy enough, avoiding conflict temporarily.

All starting playstyle stats and traits in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

If you are still undecided on your playstyle choice, here's a breakdown of all starting stats for each trait:

Stats & Secondary Stats

Stats Soldier Playstyle Adviser Playstyle Scout Playstyle

Heavy Weapons 16 15 15
Polearms 17 15 15
Unarmed 16 15 15
Marksmanship 15 15 16

There are plenty of advantages and disadvantages to each playstyle in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. For instance, Adviser has higher stats in Alchemy and Scholarship than Soldier and Scout. On the other hand, Scout comes out victorious in Survival and Thievery, making it easier to hunt and lockpick.

Player Secondary Stats
Screenshot by Destructoid

Note that starting stats will change as you progress through the story. I won't reveal any spoilers, but let's just say they will drastically change during the beginning parts of the main campaign. Additionally, the playstyle stats will gain boosts from specific items. In particular, if you have Spurs attached, you'll earn a plus-one enhancement for the Horsemanship. It'll all fluctuate throughout the adventure, so try to see what works best for you.

The 7 cheapest retro consoles to collect - a Game boy advance, Master System and Ps2 next to each other

Retrogaming is getting more expensive each day. With consoles from the 80s now approaching the forty-year-old mark, and gamers wanting to get their hands on '90s consoles, it seems prices aren't going to slow down anytime soon. So which are the cheapest retro consoles to collect, to avoid breaking the bank?

The cheapest retro consoles to collect

Keep in mind that the prices we indicate here are based on eBay auctions from the past few months and can be heavily subject to fluctuations. Take those with a grain of salt and just as generic references to have a vague idea of what you are going to pay, depending on the conditions of the consoles you are looking for as well.

Nintendo NES

An nes console on white background
Image via Nintendo

Indeed, the original NES is still relatively cheap, especially for a console that is now speedily heading past its 40 years. Still, if you are fine with getting your hands on an unboxed NES, you should be able to spend even less than a hundred dollars. Naturally, prices may vary in your local area, but getting one from the US is overall easier because of the success of the console in the country, while a European NES might be slightly more expensive (we've seen prices up to 350$ for a complete boxed PAL NES).

Also, since this is quite an old console, getting one boxed and complete might indeed set you back quite a bit. Another thing to keep in mind is to make sure that the console is working before dropping your cash, so always pay via secure methods and check the ratings of the seller, to at least make sure that you will get your money back in case of problems.

The NES game collection is quite vast, so getting your favorite games might cost a pretty penny as well, and the console is also region-locked so be careful when planning to buy one.

PlayStation

A Sony PSX on white background
Image via Sony

The original PlayStation (or PSX) is another good example of a console that was so popular back in the day that, as of yet, prices for a complete boxed one have not grown much over the last few years. But we are pretty sure they will do so quite egregiously soon, so now is as good as a time as any to get your hands on one.

Even a complete boxed PSX shouldn't break the bank, and you could find one in good condition for around 120-150 dollars.

Also, the good thing with PlayStation is that games aren't, as of yet, quite expensive so you should be able to build up a good selection of titles quickly, such as Tekken 2, Gran Turismo, and Crash Bandicoot, for a decent price. But, since this is a console with a laser, before starting to hunt for games, you'd better make sure that the CD reader is still working correctly, which you can do with a demo disc or, if all else fails, an audio CD.

PlayStation 2

A Playstation 2 phat and slim on white background
Image via Sony

Speaking of consoles with a pristine selection of games, the PS2 is definitely up there with the best consoles of all time, with such classics as Kingdom Hearts, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, and Final Fantasy XII. And, luckily, it is a sturdy console that still hasn't skyrocketed in price and you should be able to get one for around 150$, boxed and all. Prices can be even lower if you are happy with one that doesn't come with its box or with all of its original accessories.

Building up a collection of games is also relatively cheap, especially compared to collecting some of the older cartridge-based consoles. Prices for all its various editions can vary quite a bit, especially for some of the limited edition colors.

Still, prices between the original "phat" and the later slim revision do not really differ that much, so we would still recommend going for a later model, which, along with saving space on your shelf or TV cupboard, can last you longer.

Sega Master System

Image via Sega

Another old 80s console that, perhaps because it was never appreciated enough, still seems to command pretty decent prices. You should be able to get one unboxed for under 130$, while again prices for a boxed one wildly vary depending on the edition that you are after.

Overall, a PAL Master System might be slightly cheaper as they were much more common, which is useful to keep in mind since the console is region free so you can get games from all over the world and run them without issues.

Now you might think the Master System's library is too small to justify collecting for it, but you'd be wrong. Not only are there some classic RPGs of yore, such as Phantasy Star, but also some pretty fun 2D platformers such as Alex Kidd in Shinobi World and the quite decent Sonic the Hedgehog which was a different take than the original Mega Drive one. They can also be relatively cheap, so it should be convenient to build up a collection without going broke.

Nintendo Wii U

A Nintendo Wii u on white background
Image via Nintendo

Ok, we know what the general consensus on the Wii U is and that is exactly why we put the console on our list. This is a very cheap console to get if you are after the brand-new boxed experience and you want to be the first to play it.

Definitely not something we can say for a lot of other consoles on this list.

If you are looking to play all the original Wii games you remember from your childhood, by settling on the often unjustly hated follow-up, you can get your hands on a much more recent console, plus a small tablet to go along with it.

While getting an original Wii can save you a few bucks, we would still recommend getting a newer console which offers more features. That is, unless you are after the original Wii's Gamecube emulation, which was sadly removed on the Wii U. A plain Wii U should set you back just 80 dollars or perhaps even less, depending on how many accessories you want included. Even the deluxe set, complete with games and the gamepad, rarely goes for more than a hundred bucks.

PS Vita

A PS Vita on white background
Image via Sony

Alright, you might feel this is not strictly a retro console, but hear us out. You can get a working Vita for 140$, which is (quite frankly) a great portable device to play retro games on. By modding the console, which is pretty easy to do, you can install just about anything you want on it, including classics such as Doom and Quake and of course, all kinds of emulators, so you can even play old arcade games using MAME.

Naturally, prices for a Vita might change wildly depending on the model. The original Vita had quite the premium Oled screen, but also a proprietary charging cable, the latter Vita (2000 model) goes for an LED screen, but you can charge it with a simple MicroUSB cable.

Overall, we would not recommend going for a PSP, although they can be cheaper, as some of them have problems with batteries that literally explode. Unless you are 100% sure of who you are buying the console from, better to be safe than sorry. A PSP Go on the other hand? Quite an interesting proposition.

Game Boy Advance SP

a GBA SP on white background
Image via Nintendo

Ah the joys of the original Game Boy Advance, especially that of being so hard to see while playing that you needed to stand on the surface of the sun. Ditch the idea of the original GBA, and settle instead for the shell design of the SP.

Not only do you get much better screens, especially if you manage to find the later AGS 101 edition, but the backlight is there, while still being able to run all of the original GBA games, along with the Game Boy and Game Boy Color games.

We can't even begin to list all of the classic games available on the Game Boy Advance, but let's just start with Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga and Metroid Fusion.

The GBA SP also runs games from all over, so if you find a cheaper US version of the game you have been looking for, you won't have any problems running it. While a boxed GBA still goes for a pretty penny, you can get an unboxed but perfectly working GBA SP for less than 90$.

How to get a Horse in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

There are two massive regions to explore in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, and running around on foot can be a bit slow. You'll want to know how to get a horse in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 that way you can quickly traverse the world as needed.

How to Get Pebbles Back in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Screenshot by Destructoid

Get Pebbles Back

Your first option for getting a horse is to find and get Henry's faithful steed Pebbles back. Yep, Pebbles returns from Kingdom Come: Deliverance and is a horse you can get in the sequel as well.

Early on you'll get a side quest called The Jaunt in the village of Semine. Before you can actually delve into the side quest, you'll need to acquire a horse. On the eastern side of Semine is a massive horse stable. Visit the Horse Trader there and you will see none other than Pebbles!

However, Pebbles wasn't branded, meaning the Horse Trader can't verify he's yours, and therefore is his property. He is willing to let you buy Pebbles back, though. You can either fork over the 150 Groschen (you can probably haggle him down to about 140 Groschen), or you can wait until nighttime and attempt to steal Pebbles!

Buy a Horse

The Horse Trader in Semine sells other horses as well, not just your precious Pebbles. There are various horses available that offer various speeds. These horses range anywhere from 100 to as much as 800 Groschen.

Purchasing a Horse will make that horse yours forever. You'll no longer have to worry about trying to acquire one, as you will have access to the purchase Horse as long as you don't let anything happen to it.

How to Tame a Horse in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Screenshot by Destructoid

How to Tame a Horse

You also have the option of acquiring your own horse and taming it, which doesn't require you to purchase one. In the Nomad's Camp in the center of the Trotsky region is the Horse Handler Mikolai. Mikolai has his own selection of horses, but he can also assist you with taming a Horse to become yours.

Bring any Horse to Mikolai and he will break it to listen to you for a much smaller fee than the price of actually purchasing one. First, however, you'll need a Horse, and you have two options: steal one, or find one in the wild.

Steal a Horse

If you're the more nefarious type, you also have the option of stealing a Horse. In fact, as long as a Horse isn't saddled and armored, you are capable of stealing it. You'll find Horses in all the villages across both Trotsky and Kuttenberg.

To steal a horse, simply approach it and hold the 'E' key by default to jump on. You'll want to quickly get out of the area before anyone spots you, as it's illegal to steal a horse, of course.

The best strategy is to do this at night when everyone's visibility is limited anyway, which should give you a much higher chance to successfully escape. Afterwards, visit Mikolai at the Nomad's Camp and he will tame the horse to answer to you.

Find a Horse in the Wild

You can also find horses throughout the wild that you can also hop on and take to Mikolai. It's important to note, however, that both wild horses and those that are stolen will not stick around if you have not tamed them at Mikolai.

If you dismount a horse that's not technically yours, it will start to wander away. In fact, doing a quest or even interacting with someone or conversing will be enough time for the horse to completely wander off, leaving you mountless.

Fantastic Four: First Steps's bad poster

The trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps starring Pedro Pascal and Vanessa Kirby is finally out, and it looks pretty neat. Unfortunately, however, Disney decided to pair that cool Nostalgia trip to Marvel's golden age with this poster:

The AI poster for Fantastic Four: The First Steps
Image via Disney

Catch anything strange? Upon first glance, the poster's only fault is the blandness permeating its every pixel. If you go all CSI on it, though, you'll find a bigger issue. As pointed out by Wayne Talbot on Bluesky, this weak sauce poster was actually the work of what tech bros call a highly advanced AI.

https://bsky.app/profile/waynetalbot.bsky.social/post/3lhec4wrc2s2o

Sadly, Gen AI is already decent enough at generating human fingers most of the time, but that's been the go-to way of spotting whether an image has been generated via AI for a while. The four fingers of the person holding that flag are a dead giveaway. This means Disney not only used AI, it also couldn't be bothered to use the best type of Gen AI — or didn't use it very well.

Even worse, Disney might've tried to correct this mistake by making it dumber. Gen AI is known for creating monstrosities anywhere it goes, but it's not used to repeating people's faces — it usually just steals and clones the faces of two different people! So, this seems to suggest Disney used Gen AI to make the poster, then had some poor artist dig into that crap to cover up some issue by doubling a poor woman's face.

We'll likely never know exactly what transpired behind the scenes to cause this poster to come out the way it did, but we're pretty sure it was stupid.

Photoshopped faces in Fantastic Four Poster

I never thought I'd say this, but I sure do miss the time when Marvel movies had posters that sucked ass in a completely normal and non-insidious way.

https://twitter.com/LeonHurley/status/867307168604856320

Well, at least the trailer still looks pretty good.

Players in Blue Lock: Rivals holding a trophy.

Styles in Blue Lock: Rivals are similar to weapons or skills in some other Roblox titles inspired by Blue Lock. They give you several very powerful skills that let you create chances from nothing and finish from seemingly impossible angles. Check out which ones are the best in the Blue Lock: Rivals style tier list below.

Blue Lock: Rivals Style Tier List

Blue Lock Rivals Style Tier List for the Otoya and Karasu update
Image via TierMaker

Tier Styles
S Yukimiya, Rin, Sae, Shidou
A Aiku, Nagi, Karasu, King, Otoya
B Hiori, Reo
C Gagamaru, Bachira, Isagi
D Chigiri
Blue Lock: Rivals Style tier list

Yukimiya, Rin, and Shidou are the best styles on the attack in Blue Lock Rivals. With Yukimiya, you can dribble past opponents with ease. With Rin, you can score easy goals by shooting curved balls, which are tricky to defend against. And with Shidou, you are basically the aerial king. Sae's and Hiori's kits are more versatile. With both of them, you can pass the ball around and finish strong.

Nagi's mid-air trap is very good because you can't steal the ball away from him while he is doing it, and he can also dribble out of it to switch the play. Aiku and Karasu are the best defensive styles in Blue Lock: Rivals because their whole kits are about retaking possession. King and Otoya are amazing for long shots, but they have enough mobility to be useful on defense as well.

Reo is a good all-around pick that can be played in all positions. Gagamaru is made for GKs with a kit that is all about blocking shots in a flashy way. Bachira is decent both for defenders and wingers. Isagi and Chigiri are ok on both ends but not amazing. Isagi is slightly better because of the direct shot that lets you finish more consistently and the lob pass skill.

How to Use, Reroll, and Store Styles in Blue Lock: Rivals

You can use your awakening once it spawns on you during the match, but keep in mind that this can take a while. When you are able to awaken, which will be indicated to you on the screen, get a hold of the ball and press the G button. While awakened, you can use your B skill once before it runs out. For most of the match, rely on other style skills and pro moves to better your play.

Click on the styles button while in the lobby to enter the styles menu where you can reroll your style. Each reroll costs you one spin if you got some through codes or daily quests, or 2500 cash.

You can also store your styles, but you have to unlock style storage slots, which cost Robux. I don't recommend purchasing them until at least more styles get added to Blue Lock: Rivals.

I hope the above info lets you dominate the field in Blue Lock: Rivals. If you want to find the correct flow to go along with your style, then feel free to check out our Blue Lock: Rivals Flow tier list.

Breakout Beyond

Atari is digging into its catalog of classics for another revival. This time it's the 1976 arcade game Breakout, which is coming back in style to spare thanks to the folks behind the BIT.TRIP series.

Developer Choice Provisions' take on the arcade block-buster is titled Breakout Beyond, and at a glance, it's reminiscent of a few revivals that have opted for similarly explosive aesthetics. The gameplay itself is built upon the same core concept, but Beyond fires from its unassuming paddle with ricocheting lightning bolts and dynamic bursts of fireworks.

Oh yeah, and Breakout now plays horizontally, so there's that, too. Here's a look at how the colorful means of progression looks in action:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wKT_MzXDTE

Movement and destruction looks suitably chaotic despite the simplistic underpinnings, and it's all set to the rhythm of procedural audio and visual effects. As players move across the screen, they'll be tasked with building up combos to break through barriers so they can clear a path to the final goal. Special blocks are scattered throughout the arena, too, providing bonuses like brick-clearing explosions, protective barriers, and a laser cannon.

Breakout Beyond boasts 72 levels in total, all of which are available to challenge solo or cooperatively with another player. From the short burst we get to see in the above trailer, co-op looks to make the proceedings even more chaotic, with the second player positioned to ricochet side-by-side or strategically placed behind or in front of their partner.

There's no concrete release date at this time other than being due out "later this year." When Breakout Beyond launches, it'll be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Atari VCS.

The loading screen in Blue Lock: Rivals

Even though flows in Blue Lock: Rivals don't unlock new moves or some crazy bonuses, the right one can give you an edge that ultimately decides the game. To dominate the pitch right from the start, follow our Blue Lock: Rivals flow tier list below.

Blue Lock: Rivals Flow Tier List

Blue Lock Rivals Flow tier list for Otoya and Karasu update
Image via TierMaker

Tier Flows
S Dribbler, Prodigy, Awakened Genius
A Snake, Wildcard, Demon Wings, Crow
B Trap, Genius, Chameleon
C King's Instinct, Gale Burst, Monster, Puzzle
D Ice, Lightning
Blue Lock: Rivals Flow tier list

Dribbler and Prodigy are the best offensive flows in Blue Lock: Rivals because of the increased shot power, speed, and curved shots or extended dribbles they give. Snake is the best defensive flow, and it is best paired up with the Aiku style. Awakened Genius is great for all positions because it gives you bonuses of several other flows.

Demon Wings is basically made to be paired up with Shidou style. Crow, Wildcard, Monster, and Puzzle are great on both ends. They let you start counter-attacks, and if you get to the opponent's penalty area first or use one of the pro moves, you are almost guaranteed to score.

Gale Burst is a weaker variant of DW that is useful for all styles and positions. King's Instinct is excellent for midfielders who like to break the opponent's attacks with precise tackles and then start counters with long balls. Ice is lackluster unless you pair it up with the Sae style.

Genius, while it doesn't grant you any buffs, it lets the rest of your team use their flows for longer, and that can decide close matches. It requires only about 40% of your flow bar to be used while granting the rest of your team around 120% in total.

Blue Lock: Rivals Flow List

Below is a list of all flows in Blue Lock: Rivals based on their rarity tier, along with all of their effects:

Demon Wings flow from Blue Lock: Rivals Roblox experience • Your shots go off more quickly.
• Your headers have increased power.
• You jump 50% higher.

Epic Flows

Flow Effect Best for Tier

• With more than one on the team, you will almost always have at least some flow bar.
B
King's Instinct flow from Blue Lock: Rivals Roblox experience • Your shots are more powerful.
• The opponents you successfully tackle stay on the ground for longer.
• Great for MFs and more defense-oriented players. C
Gale Burst flow from Blue Lock: Rivals Roblox experience • Increases your stamina regeneration.
• Your shots are released more quickly.
• Decent for all positions. C
Monster flow from Blue Lock: Rivals Roblox experience • Decreases your dribble cooldown and removes the speed reduction that you normally get when acquiring the ball. • Very good for MFs for getting the ball out of your half and decent for STs and Wingers. C

Rare Flows

Flow Effect Best for Tier
Ice Flow from Blue Lock: Rivals Roblox experience • Increases the shot strength of the player you pass to. • Excellent for GKs and when paired up with Sae. D
Puzzle flow from Blue Lock: Rivals Roblox experience • Increases your speed with and without the ball. • Good for all roles equally. C
Lightning flow from Blue Lock: Rivals Roblox experience • Increases your shot strength. • Excellent for strikers but still situational because of the base shot strength increase the best Styles give you. D

How to Use, Reroll, and Store Flows in Blue Lock: Rivals

You use your flow by pressing T on the keyboard when you have enough flow bar, which will be visible on your screen. On use, the bar will either drain slowly or completely deplete, depending on your current flow.

To reroll your flow, click on the flow button at the bottom of your screen while in the lobby. Each roll costs 2000 cash or one flow spin if you have some either from redeeming codes or from completing quests.

In Blue Lock: Rivals, you can also unlock two additional flow storage slots, but they cost Robux, so I wouldn't recommend buying them until more flows are added.

That's it for our Blue Lock: Rivals flow tier list. If you are also looking for the best flow to take onto the field with you, check out our Blue Lock: Rivals style tier list as well.

A picture of a dog from Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

If you played the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance, you'll be happy to know that your loyal pup Mutt makes a return. He will assist you in combat, essentially serving as a target dummy for better or worse when engaged in larger-scale battles. But to keep Mutt happy, you've got to keep him fed, of course. Here is how to get food for Mutt and feed him in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

Where to find food for Mutt at Trosky Castle camp

Where to find food for Mutt at Trosky Castle camp

You can get food for Mutt during this quest by speaking to Oats at camp. More specifically, one of your first quests in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is Easy Riders, which has Henry and his group of cohorts setting up camp outside of Trosky Castle. Mutt will start barking consistently as he's hungry, and others at the camp will mention that you should feed him. In fact, you can't proceed forward with the main story mission without feeding him first.

Once you regain control of Henry, you'll notice Mutt barking at Oats, who also serves as the group's resident chef. He'll tell you to whistle for Mutt to get him to calm down, which you can do by holding the 'X' key by default. Do this, and then you're tasked with actually getting some food for the pupper.

This will complete the Call Mutt to heel objective and start the Find something to eat for Mutt and feed him objective. Speak with Oats who is now stirring the food in the pot over the fire at camp. Choose the first option, "Have you got some food for my dog?". Oats responds that he only has one sausage left but he's saving it. You'll see three follow-up choices that are based on your current attributes:

  • We'll get food at Trosky.
  • I'll bring you something from the nobles' feast.
  • You wouldn't want Mutt to bite you...

Any of these three have a chance of Success or Failure. As you can see, your best chance of success will be to say 'We'll get food at Trosky', though I've seen the others succeed as well. If you succeed, Oats will hand over the sausage. If you fail, he will instead offer to trade you the sausage for his ring which he lost to Tankard in a dice game.

How to get the sausage from Tankard
Screenshot by Destructoid

How to get the sausage from Tankard

Look to the left of Oats and you'll see Tankard sitting at a table with a hat on. Talk to him and choose the option 'How about playing dice for the ring?'. This serves as a tutorial to the dice game, which is essentially Yahtzee. Basically, it's the first person to reach the Goal score, which in this case is 1,500, which is super easy to do.

Winning the dice game will result in Tankard handing over Oats' ring. Return to Oats and choose "I've got your ring." He'll hand over the sausage, and now you can finally feed Mutt! Walk up to Mutt, look at him, then hold Left+Alt and then press the 1 key to feed him the sausage which will complete this quest objective! It's now time to speak to Sir Hans!

How to stop Bleeding in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Bleeding in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 can literally lead to your death. Henry will eventually start having blurry vision before leading to you dying and having to reload from the most recent checkpoint. Here is how you can stop bleeding in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

How to stop bleeding in KCD2

The primary way to stop bleeding in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is to use Bandages. Go into your inventory to the Utility section, select the Bandage, then hit the 'E' key to use it. You will then get a pop-up window asking which body part you want to patch. In order to completely stop bleeding, you will have to patch up every body part that is not at 0%. Each Bandage you use will stop the bleeding on that body part.

It can take quite a few bandages to completely stop bleeding if you've been badly beaten up and are bleeding from several different body parts. The key is to make sure each individual body part has a 0% beside it, as that means it is no longer bleeding. If any body part at all is still bleeding, you will slowly bleed out. Of course, the more body parts that are bleeding, the faster you will bleed out.

You can also stop bleeding via several consumables like the Marigold Potion, but these are much harder to come by. You want to make it a priority to always pick up extra Bandages when you can; after all, they are cheap and always needed.

How to get Bandages

You can purchase Bandages from tons of different merchants all across the Kingdom of Bohemia. They will also consistently restock them. Thankfully, Bandages are super cheap, running only 2 Groschen each at most vendors. And, they only take up 0.1 Weight, so you'll be able to plan ahead and carry a bunch around with you just in case you need them.

Bandages can also be found in various chests and looted from the bodies of enemies you kill. You should make a good habit of looting every corpse you come across, not only to pick up some extra Bandages but also so you can sell the various items you scavenge to purchase important items, like the Bandages themselves. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a way to manually craft Bandages.

Where and how to bury the body in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

After an early scuffle, a body winds up outside Bozhena the Herbalist's house and she tasks you with burying it. Here's where and how to bury the body for the Fortuna quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

Grab the Spade against the post near the body

Grab the Spade against the post near the body

As Bozhena suggested, you should grab the spade/shovel outside of the hut to dig the grave. Head outside then look to the left and you'll see a body lying near the garden. To the left of the body is a spade lying against a post. Grab the spade as you will need it to bury the grave.

Pick up the body and head towards the stream in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Pick up the body and head towards the stream

Now that the spade is in your inventory, head over to the body. Before picking it up, hold the 'F' key to loot it for any goodies. Then, hold the 'E' key to pick up the body. Head immediately out of the gate that surrounds the house and down towards the stream.

Dig the grave and bury the body

Once you reach the stream, you'll see soft ground under your feet in the surrounding area. Put the body down then hit the 'E' key, which will automatically dig up a grave. Go back to the body and hold the 'E' key to pick it back up, then interact with the freshly dug grave by hitting the 'E' key. After a few seconds, the body will be buried and this optional side quest will be complete.

Head back southwest to the Herbalist's hut and interact with the wash tub outside the hut to wash yourself clean of the stench. With this optional quest done, you're now ready to find the Sage and Chamomile and complete the Fortuna quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2!

How to save and get Saviour Schnapps in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Saviour Schnapps is one of the most important consumables in the whole game. Thankfully, you can craft your own Saviour Schnapps. Here is how to get and use the Saviour Schnapps consumables in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

What does Saviour Schnapps do?

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, consuming Saviour Schnapps is how you save the game. While you can "quick save" at any time by going into the menu and choosing to save and exit, this is only meant to serve as an option if you are simply looking to exit the game. Your save will be created exactly where you exited the game, and once you continue the game, you'll be loaded in the same spot and the save will be deleted. The game also creates a save any time you sleep in a bed that you have permission to use.

If you want to make any sort of actual manual save, you will need to consume a Saviour Schnapps. These consumable potions will create a save state for you, and, if the quality of the Saviour Schnapps is good, it will also boost your Strength, Vitality, and Agility stats.

How to get more Saviour Schnapps

Thankfully, these nifty Saviour Schnapps consumables can be crafted in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2! You'll receive one Saviour Schnapps as well as the recipe to craft Saviour Schnapps as part of the main story quests in the prologue.

Once you have access to the open world, head to any Alchemy Bench—there is one located in the starting town of Troskowitz. At the Alchemy Bench, cycle to the Potions tab and select Saviour Schnapps. Here are the ingredients required to craft Saviour Schnapps:

  • Wine
  • 1x Nettle
  • 2x Belladonna

First, use Wine as the base, and then add the 1 Nettle to the cauldron. Flip the Hourglass and once the sand runs out, flip it once more, as you need to boil the Nettle for two turns. Afterwards, grind up the 2 Belladonna in the Mortar and Pestle, then add it to the cauldron. Get the cauldron boiling again and then flip the Hourglass once more. Once the sand runs out, your Saviour Schnapps is ready and you can pour it into a flask.

Once crafted, the quality of your Saviour Schnapps will be based on your efficiency at crafting it at the Alchemy Bench. To use the Saviour Schnapps, simply go into your inventory, navigate to the 'Food' tab, and then look for the Potions header. Select the Saviour Schnapps then hold the 'E' key to consume it and therefore save your game.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Blacksmithing guide and tips

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Blacksmithing is one of many activities you can do between traversing the Kingdom of Bohemia. Even though there is an in-game tutorial for how to be a Blacksmith, it's still a bit tricky until you understand exactly what to do. As such we've put together this Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Blacksmithing guide as well as some tips to help you be successful.

Where to learn how to start Blacksmithing in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Where to learn how to start Blacksmithing

You will learn how to Blacksmith from Radovan, the Blacksmith in an early-accessible town named Tachov. After the prologue to the game, you'll me Radovan in Troskowitz where he will offer you some Blacksmithing work. Head to Tachov and find Radovan, and he will give you a beginner tutorial on how to successfully complete Blacksmithing.

Step-by-step Blacksmithing guide in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Screenshot by Destructoid

Step-by-step Blacksmithing guide

In order to successfully blacksmith an item in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, there are a series of steps you must follow.

  1. Make sure you've learned the desired Blacksmithing design. Radovan will start you out with the recipes for Horseshoes and a Work Axe, which need to be consumed from your inventory to learn how to blacksmith them.
  2. Check the resource requirement for the recipe. You can either visit a Blacksmithing Anvil or simply hit 'I' to open your Inventory then click on the crafting tab. It also says 'C' brings up this menu, but for me, it just makes Henry crouch.
  3. Start the Blacksmithing process at an Anvil. Interact with any Anvil—one can be found by Radovan in Tachov—and choose which recipe you want to craft. As long as you have the required resources, Henry will walk over to the nearby barrel and pull out the base for the item and take it to the furnace.
  4. Heat up the entire item on the furnace using the Bellows. As you heat the item, it will begin to glow red, then orange, then a bright yellow. Move the item around in the furnace using your mouse, and keep the heat from the bellows coming in by holding the 'Q' key. As Radovan says, it will "look like straw". For certain items like the Horseshoe and Work Axe, the base item is small enough that the entire thing will fit in the furnace, so it will heat evenly. For other items, like a sword, you will need to move it back and forth across the flame to heat it evenly. If Henry says it's getting too hot or catching fire, it's time to switch it to the Anvil.
  5. Hammer to shape the item on the Anvil. While the item is hot off the forge and still yellow, you can hammer it to bend the shape of the item to your will. You can move the hammer around using the mouse, then hold the left mouse button to pull back the hammer, then let go of the left mouse button to strike the hammer down.

    • Pay attention to the sparks flying off the item as you hit it. After each hit, move the hammer slightly away from where you last hit, and strike it again at full strength. Striking the same point over and over is not effective, but moving just slightly is enough to register a quality hit. You will know this happens because there will be lots of sparks, and Henry will start whistling. As you continually strike the item, pay attention to Henry's whistling. It's meant to keep you in rhythm. But also, if you hear Henry stop whistling, it means your most recent hit was not good.

  6. If the item cools down too much, return it to the Furnace. Henry will mention the item has cooled too much, but you can also tell by the color of the item. It will slowly cool back down from yellow, to orange, to red. Once it cools enough, you can no longer shape the item. Return it to the Furnace, get the bellows going again, and reheat the item to a bright yellow.
  7. Each successful strike that sends sparks flying will shape your item. Once you've done that enough, the item will be completed. If you're quick and efficient with your hits, you can do it after one heating. If you're too slow of ineffective, it may take several heat-ups. Henry will comment once the item is shaped correctly, at which point you then press the 'R' key to move it back to the furnace to temper it.
  8. After tempering, hit the 'R' key to quench it. Both tempering and quenching happen automatically, but you must press the key to move on to the next step. Henry will then take the item and dip it in the barrel of water which will complete the item! Congratulations, you are a Blacksmith!

All Blacksmithing and Craftsmanship Perks Leveling Rewards

Even though Blacksmithing is its own activity, skill-wise it is part of the Craftsmanship skill. As you complete Blacksmithing crafts and other activities such as sharpening your weapons, using repair kits on your armor, or washing your clothes, your Craftsmanship skill will increase. As you increase your base level, you will receive Perk Points that you can use to unlock certain Craftsmanship-specific perks. Here are all the Craftsmanship Perks in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2:

Craftsmanship Perk Level Required Description
Razor-Sharp 6 If you sharpen a weapon on the grindstone to a condition of 98% or higher, the weapon gains a bonus effect that increases its slashing damage by 10%. This effect will remain active as long as the weapon's condition stays above 75%.
Seven-League Boots 6 If you wear boots repaired by yourself, sprinting will cost you 25% less Stamina, so you can run longer and go further.
Well-Fitted 6 Armor and clothing that you repair yourself with the Armorer's kit will make less noise when worn. The effect lasts until the item's quality level drops.
Helping Hand 8 Repairs by craftsmen will be 20% cheaper for you.
Thorough Maintenance 8 Your gear will be damaged 10% slower, so you don't have to repair it as often.
Hardened Steel 10 The weapons you forge will have excellent properties and will therefore take damage 20% slower.
Keen Eye 10 If you get your gear repaired by a craftsman, you'll gain a little experience in Craftsmanship. The experience you gain will increase along with the repair price.
Locksmith 12 When picking locks, your Thievery skill will count as 3 higher, so it'll be a lot easier. Plus, you can also make use of scrap iron, so you'll get an extra 1-3 lockpicks for each item you successfully forge.
Totally Legit 12 Stolen weapons, armor, and clothing in your inventory will lose their stolen status 20% faster.
Bowyer 14 Bows and crossbows that you repair yourself with the Bowyers kit are 10% more powerful. Thus your shots will fly farther and have more penetration.
Thorough Maintenance II 14 Requires Thorough Maintenance. Your gear will take 20% less damage.
Martin's Secret 16 Now you will be able to forge weapons of the fourth, i.e. the highest quality. Weapons of this quality cannot be obtained in any other way than by forging them yourself, and their strength and effectiveness is unmatched.
Seven-League Boots II 16 Requires Seven-League Boots. If you put on self-repaired boots, the sprint will cost you 50% less stamina, so you can sprint longer and run further.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 The Jaunt side quest guide

One of the first of many side quests in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is The Jaunt, where Blacksmith Radovan sends you out to find his missing cart of supplies as well as the crew that was transporting it. We've put together this The Jaunt side quest guide to help you complete the entire quest line.

How to start the side quest The Jaunt in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Screenshot by Destructoid

How to start the side quest The Jaunt

You can start The Jaunt side quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 by heading to Tachov, the small village north of Troskowitz. Here you will find the Blacksmith Radovan, who previously informed you back in Troskowitz that he had some blacksmithing work for you. After completing the Blacksmithing tutorial by speaking to him and telling him you'll work for him as a Blacksmith, he will then have a separate dialogue available for you in which you can ask him for more difficult work. He will then tell you that he had a wagon of supplies that never arrived, nor did the crew that was meant to transport it. This will officially start The Jaunt side quest and you should now have it in your Journal!

Head to Semine in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Screenshot by Destructoid

Head to Semine

The first task for this side quest is to head to Semine. Radovan mentioned that the laborers he hired to drive the wagon to Semine, so that is a good place to start looking. Semine can be found southwest of Troskowitz, so fast travel to Troskowitz, then head southwest out of the town and follow the road. As you reach Semine, a cutscene will start in which you will meet one of the town guards, Jurkov. He will challenge you to a fistfight, but thankfully due to being quite liquored up, is a pretty easy bout.

After the brawl, Captain Gnarly will speak to you and tell you to follow him to speak with Lord Semine about the wagon. Lord Semine will inform you that the wagon never reached Semine, so you three will have to go looking for it. Captain Gnarly mentions that you will need a horse to ride out and search with them, but that thankfully someone in town has one for sale for cheap. Exit the building and head southwest, not into the actual town of Semine, but rather into the wide-open area beside you.

Buy a Cheap Horse in Semine in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Screenshot by Destructoid

Buy a Cheap Horse in Semine

Head into the horse stables and you will find an NPC named Groom Ballatay walking around. Speak with him and choose the option 'Cheap Horse', which as it turns out, is actually your horse, Pebbles! Unfortunately, Pebbles doesn't have a brand, so you have no claim to him. As such, Ballatay wants 150 Groschen for Pebbles. You can choose the option to haggle the price down a bit, but the lowest I was able to get him to go was 138 Groschen.

You may need to do some other side quests or blacksmith some for Radovan to earn the Groschen to afford it. Once you have, return to Groom Ballatay and purchase Pebbles. If you don't have nearly enough Groschen and don't want to farm it, there are other ways to acquire a Horse.

Regardless of how you get a Horse, return to Captain Gnarly and Lord Semine at the same guardpost you met them at, and inform them you are ready to head out.

Follow Lord Semine and Gnarly

Captain Gnarly and Lord Semine will head out of Semine on their horse, and you should follow close behind. If you fall too far behind, the side quest will fail. You can also hold the Left Alt key by default to automatically follow them at the same tempo.

Along the way, Lord Semine will learn about your fight with Jurkov, and offer to duel you for fun as well. Accepting will gain you some reputation, so I recommend doing it! Furthermore, if you're successful in the duel, Gnarly will give you his Cudgel as well as his shield, which is some decent equipment for early on!

After the duel, get back on your steed and continue following Gnarly and Semine until you reach Troskowitz. Once there, speak to Gnarly and Semine who will tell you to speak with the Troskowitz bailiff to inquire about the cart, but be sure not to mention them being there; they don't want to risk drama between the two towns.

Talk to the bailiff

Head inside the building behind Gnarly and Semine and you will find Bailiff Thrush. Tell him you are looking for the wagon, and he will inform you he saw the wagon hands quickly riding off with the wagon to the east towards Apollonia.

Outside, speak with Gnarly and Semine again and fill them in on what you learned. They will agree it's best to ride after them immediately as it would be faster than sending a message to the guards there to keep an eye out. Hop back on your horse and once again follow Captain Gnarly and Lord Semine east towards Apollonia.

You'll reach a crossroads to the east, and the two will bicker on which way to go. The Bailiff told you that the hands were speeding off in the wagon and that some goods even fell off the cart, so use that knowledge to determine which road to follow. A little way down the northern road that hooks east, you'll find a sack of charcoal lying on the ground. Report back to Gnarly and Semine with the information.

Find the Wagon

After riding a bit further, Lord Semine will comment that you should have come across the wagon by now. He informs Gnarly to look ahead and tells you to double back and check if it's off the road. Just behind you will be a road leading to your right, and you'll see another sack of charcoal on the ground.

Head down that road and you will find the wagon, hidden behind some branches and brush. Hit the 'E' key to inspect it and you will call over Gnarly and Semine who suggest looking around the area on foot to see if you can find where the goods were moved too, which they will assist you in doing.

Scout the Patrols camping for The Jaunt side quest

Scout out the Patrol

As you investigate the area, you'll start to hear voices of a few people chatting. Gnarly suggests scouting out the area and passes the task to you. Double back just a bit and climb up the ledge there to get a good top view of the patrol around a campfire, taking note of there being three of them. Report back to Gnarly and Semine and tell them what you saw.

The two agree you'll have to encounter the patrol, as it's not the Blacksmith's hands, so it's unlikely they will just hand over the goods. If you want an advantage, mention the high-up spot you scouted from, and Gnarly will give you his Crossbow and 20 bolts so you can assist from above in helping thin the patrol with the Crossbow.

Assist in taking out the Patrol

Semine and Gnarly will charge the patrol, as you fire on them from the scouting spot above. They make pretty quick work of them, but if you're able to land a shot or two with the crossbow, it will make the skirmish even easier. Afterward, be sure to loot the dead for Groschen and everything of value. One of them will have a set of keys on them which you can use to loot the chest near the campfire for some more goodies. Just keep in mind your limited carrying capacity, as you don't want to be encumbered!

Speak with Semine and Gnarly and they will indicate this was just a part of the group of bandits, but that you should all go ahead and proceed forth and take them out. Make sure you're prepared, then tell them you are ready.

Attack the Bandits with Semine and Gnarly

You'll push forward and find the Blacksmith's hired hands tied up and being interrogated by a noble who clearly intended to steal Semine's goods from the wagon. Mid-discussion, Gnarly will take one of the bandits out with his crossbow, and the battle will begin.

There are four or five enemies in total here, which can certainly be overwhelming compared to your three. However, I still found the best strategy here was to team up and attack someone who was currently engaged in combat with Gnarly or Semine. If they are busy preparing to block an attack against them, and you sneak up and attack from behind, it's an easy successful hit and big damage.

After taking out the Bandits, Gnarly says he saw one of the hired hands making a run for it. Head southwest back towards the cliffs you scaled down to get here, and you will find the hired hand weakishly trying to get away.

You will have several choices in terms of dealing with the hired hand who betrayed the Blacksmith. If you have high Intimidation or Persuasion, you can convince him to just turn himself in and come peacefully, regardless of what punishment he will receive from the law.

I tried both and failed, so had to decide between letting him bribe me and give me a valuable he scooped off the wagon in turn for letting him go or fighting with him right then and there. I'm going a more noble route so I refused to let him bribe me, which resulted in a quick (but easy) duel against the weakened hired hand. If you follow this route, make sure you loot his body afterward, as he has a few valuables on him including a map. Regardless of the choice you make, return back to Semine and Gnarly for the ride back to Troskowitz, and then return to Blacksmith Radovan to finally complete The Jaunt side quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

The Jaunt side quest Rewards

Semine will give you 80 Groschen for coming along with him and Gnarly, which is a nice chunk of change early on. The real rewards for this quest though lie on the corpses of the Bandits you just took out. Make sure you completely loot all of them, as well as the chest in the camp, before speaking to Semine and informing him you want a ride back to Troskowitz.

After you return to Blacksmith Radovan and tell him what happened, he will also give you a Curiass (Gold Quality Rusted Plate Chest Armor) which has some beefy defenses, making the entire quest worthwhile.

The cover image for The Sims 2 Legacy Collection

With The Sims 2: Legacy Collection officially released, the entire Sims community is enjoying their favorite nostalgic game to their heart's content. However, nostalgia can blind us to the truth sometimes, and that truth is that The Sims 2 isn't always perfect.

Luckily, the modding community for the series has already solved pretty much every problem you can think of in the game. If you're looking for the most important mods for The Sims 2 that still work in 2025, we've got you covered.

The Top 10 Mods for The Sims 2 that work in 2025

Autonomous Casual Romance

Two Sims socializing
Screenshot by Destructoid

While The Sims 2 does give your Sims plenty of freedom, something they won't do on their own is engage in some romance. That's what Autonomous Casual Romance by Simbology is for, so your Sims can enjoy some loving.

This mod lets your Sims and others autonomously perform romantic socials, instead of you having to direct it. It makes for some juicy storytelling, so if you're into drama, this mod is for you.

No Eat Crap

I'm going to say something brave; I think all Sims eat way too slowly. I've yet to play a Sims game that doesn't have this problem. It already takes at least an hour to cook a meal, and then two more to eat it since your Sims are too busy chatting.

Luckily the No Eat Crap mod helps, by stopping your Sims from talking so much when they should be focusing on eating. No more worrying about your Sims dying of hunger because they just had to stop and talk about their hobbies.

Pregnancy Wear Any Outfit

You may not have quite as many clothing options in The Sims 2 as you do for later games, but it's still a good selection except for one outfit, the pregnancy outfit. Regardless of your Sim's regular style, as soon as they've got a baby bump, they're relegated to a matronly top and pants.

With the Pregnancy Wear Any Outfit mod by Squinge, your Sim can keep the pregnancy but ditch the lousy clothes. Be aware that some outfits conflict with this mod, so the pregnancy simply won't show. Your Sim is still having that baby though.

OMSP

A Sim in a room filled with clutter
Image via SilentLucidity

Another mod for Build and Buy Mode, OMSP, or One More Slot Please, lets you create far more realistic builds. Simply place down one of the OMSP shelves, and now you've got tons more slots to place clutter and other decorations on.

The shelves work with any table, countertop, and more. Sims 2 builds can look a bit bare, especially compared to later games in the series, but this mod solves the problem for you.

Community Time

One of the most frustrating things about the base game for The Sims 2 is that your Sim seemingly travels back in time when returning from a community lot. If they leave at 9 AM and spend all day out shopping, they'll return to their home only for it to be 9 AM again, ready for bed.

This will throw off your entire schedule. So, I highly recommend downloading the Community Time mod, so your Sim will return at the time they left the community lot. Not only is it more realistic, but much smoother for gameplay.

Shiftable Everything

A Sims 2 room filled with clutter and objects
Image via Lamare

The Sims 2 is superior to the other games in the series in tons of ways, but unfortunately, Build and Buy Mode freedom is not one of them. While cheats can get you far, there are some changes you want to make that can't be done.

This is where Shiftable Everything comes in. You can now take any object you place in the game and move it up and down, instead of just across the grid. This mod is particularly useful for paintings, so you can place them anywhere on the wall instead of at their set height.

Community Skilling

Another limitation of community lots is the fact that you can't build skills when you visit them. This is an odd choice, seeing as how there are many skills Sims need specific objects to build, that typically won't be on a home lot.

Community Skilling is here to fix that issue. Just add it to your game and your Sim will be able to gain all skills normally on any lot. Now going to a community gym won't be useless.

Same-Sex Marriage

Two male Sims hug
Screenshot by Destructoid

As forward-thinking as The Sims series has always been, it's still a product of its time. So, instead of same-sex marriages, Sims will have legal unions instead. This mod, the Same-Sex Marriage mod, fixes it, so your Sims of all orientations can join in marriage.

There aren't any actual limitations to romance in The Sims 2, and you can perform any romantic social on any gender, besides the Try for Baby option. This mod just changes the name of the partnership to marriage. But, I still find it's necessary since everyone deserves equality

Sim Transformer

The Sims 2 has some incredible supernatural states, but they're hard to achieve. You can't simply make your Sim an occult from CAS, instead they need to be turned into one. This is what the Sim Transformer is for.

Instead of having to wait, this mod lets you instantly turn your Sim into a vampire, witch, werewolf, or zombie. You can enjoy all of the occult gameplay without having to waste time just trying to get there.

Build/Buy Mode Enabler for Community Lots

Building a community lot in Sims 2
Screenshot by Destructoid

Have you ever visited a community lot in The Sims 2 and thought that something was missing? But, changing it would take forever, since you need to exit your current family, then open the building itself in Build and Buy Mode from the Neighborhood View.

The Build/Buy Mode Enabler for Community Lots mod cuts out all that unnecessary work and lets you modify community lots whenever you'd like. Now, you can make the lot perfect for your Sims without having to wait through multiple loading screens.

SteamDolls

We typically only get to hear the main cast of the original Metal Gear Solid games in one place when we're replaying the classics. Three of the key voice actors are having a bit of a reunion soon, however, thanks to a new Metroidvania called SteamDolls: Order of Chaos.

Appropriately enough, this one is billed as a stealth-action platformer, so we're still technically on a stealth mission. This particular mission is now set to enter Early Access on February 11. The main cast in the latest from French-Belgian studio The Shady Gentleman includes David Hayter as The Whisper alongside Christopher Randolph and Jennifer Hale. Anyone nostalgic for the staccato burst of a patrolling exclamation point will recognize those names as the respective voices behind Solid Snake, Otacon, and Naomi Hunter.

You can hear how their voices sound in the context of the gritty, shadowed world of SteamDolls in the new release date trailer below.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zuV_zkPcNpc

The Shady Gentleman first cooked SteamDolls up with inspiration from a comic book before taking the title to Kickstarter. Its campaign ended back in July 2020 with €94,828 pledged of a €30,000 goal, and the team originally had a projected delivery of May 2021. That didn't happen, but hopefully, the wait will have been worth it once it drops in a matter of days.

According to the announcement, players who dive into Early Access can expect to play through six chapters of the game. That adds up to around five to seven hours of content, and the devs are hoping to use the feedback from this period to further refine everything for the eventual 1.0 launch. A free demo is still available, too, so you can hop in and hear that gravelly Hayter tone you know and love right now.

Spicy romance books

As we head towards the latter days of Winter, the temperature outside is slowly creeping upwards, but it's still not warm by any stretch of the imagination. If you want something to warm you from the inside out, there are few better things than a spicy romance novel.

In case you're not clued in on modern literary terms, spicy means nothing more than sexy. Spicy romances have a lot of sexual content, often described explicitly, and can leave even the most stiff-lipped of readers feeling hot and bothered.

There are countless examples of spicy romance, one of the most famous (although not good in any sense) is Fifty Shades of Grey. That won't be included on this list, but it is a recognizable example of the subgenre.

Here are 10 spicy romance novels that are, unlike Fifty Shades of Grey, actually worth reading.

Twisted Love by Ana Huang

Twisted Love by Ana Huang

As is pretty common in the spicy romance subgenre, Twisted Love offers an amazing example of a male character whose behavior would simply not be tolerated in real life, but somehow makes him likable in terms of his character.

Twisted Love is a story of two troubled people, Ana and Alex. Alex is Ana's brother's best friend, and although they shouldn't fall in love, of course they do. There are dark moments, but most importantly for the purposes of this list, a lot of spice.

Don't get caught up on the fact that Neon Gods is a dark and smutty retelling of Greek gods and goddesses. Hades and Persephone ruled over the underworld together, and this is a modernized retelling of that tale filled with spice and darkness.

It's not as if mythology isn't inherently filled with romantic ideas anyway, but Robert adds a whole new level, piling on the chemistry between the two main characters in a way that will always leave you wanting more, even when you've finished the very last page.

Praise by Sara Cate

Most people, at some point in their lives, experienced a breakup that left them feeling empty and worthless. It's an experience that's easily relatable, and that's how Praise begins, but it's far from where it ends.

After Charlotte is left hollowed by a horrible breakup, she mistakenly gets dragged into a BDSM-based affair with her ex's father. Oh, and he's also her boss, and twice her age, all of which makes the relationship entirely forbidden. But that's what makes you want to keep reading, because surely this can't end well?

Priest by Sierra Simone

Priest by Sierra Simone

It's common knowledge that a priest must take a vow of celibacy, but that doesn't make keeping it easy, and therein lies the main plot of Priest by Sierra Simone. Tyler is a 29-year-old priest in charge of his own church, and he has done some very un-priestly things.

Priest acts as a confession for the main character, who despite his vow of celibacy and role as a priest, has broken every rule in the book after meeting a woman he cannot stay away from. So much so that he had sex with her on the altar of his church. That's a lot of sin, and Priest is filled with sinful moments to enjoy, as well as a sweet love story to boot.

Bared to You by Sylvia Day

If you want a love story filled with both sex and angst, then Bared to You is an absolute must-read. Two damaged people come together for a spicy romance that helps them to fix themselves and each other, with many, many NSFW (not safe for work) encounters along the way.

Admittedly, the story does, at times, take a backseat to the sheer amount of smut involved. However, that doesn't mean that it's not worth reading if you need a story to keep you going between steamy scenes. Both main characters grow together, overcoming trauma through each other.

Left of Forever by Tarah DeWitt

Left of Forever by Tarah DeWitt

Let me just put this out there: I'm a sucker for a second-chance romance, and Left of Forever is an amazing example of the trope with a lot of spice thrown in for good measure. Wren and Ellis fell in love as kids, they had a life and a child together, and then everything fell apart. But is that the end?

No, it's not. What starts off as a simple weekend dropping their son off at college turns into a "one last try" road trip filled with love, memories, and arguments. Left of Forever is filled with huge feelings and hurdles to overcome, as well as some seriously steamy moments between the former husband and wife.

The Fine Print by Lauren Asher

The Fine Print by Lauren Asher

There's a common theme that runs through steamy romance novels, and it revolves around an impossibly rich man falling for a woman with barely a fraction of his wealth. There's definitely a questionable power dynamic involved, but there's also a "forbidden" and risky appeal to the entire trope.

The Fine Print is a good example of this trope done well, because the power imbalance ends with the money and doesn't transfer into the bedroom. Zahra is feisty, and she isn't afraid of Rowan, who happens to be her boss, so he can't push her around because he's loaded. There's also a large element of enemies-to-lovers involved here, so if that's your thing, you'll love The Fine Print

Beautiful Bastard by Christina Lauren

Beautiful Bastard by Christina Lauren

Another tale of an employee and her boss who are incapable of staying away from each other despite the rules and self-imposed limitations, Beautiful Bastard was originally released online under a completely different name. Now, it's been fully published and is loved by fans of the spicy romance subgenre, for good reason.

Things are a little crazy at certain points within the story, and there is a huge amount of smut that sometimes overpowers the actual narrative that Lauren is trying to portray. However, if you're looking up a list of spicy books, then you'll probably be okay with that.

The Hook Up by Kristen Callihan

The Hook Up by Kristen Callihan

A hook-up becomes a "situationship" that becomes more. It's a common trope within romance, and although there's nothing particularly new brought to the table in terms of narrative within The Hook Up, there's a lot to love.

Anna and Drew could not be more different. He's the quarterback, endlessly popular, and lives his entire life in the limelight. She's prickly, funny, and couldn't care less about him or his ball-throwing abilities. But then something happens to bring them together, and they both want different things, but can he convince her that he's more than he seems to be?

Bohemian by Kathryn Nolan

Bohemian by Kathryn Nolan

A shy nerdy guy who ends up in charge of a struggling bookshop, and a model who only goes there for a photoshoot ends up finding more than she bargained for. That's the main pairing in this story of love and steam, and that's what makes Bohemian stand out in an ocean of rich-man-poor-woman pairings.

There's also a looming choice that both the main characters and the reader must face, and although you see it coming from a mile away, it doesn't make the decision any easier. Do you take a chance on something that you never expected? Or do you savor the memories and move on?

Hello Kitty Island Adventure featured image

Hello Kitty Island Adventure is all about interacting with lovable Sanrio characters and turning them from acquaintances to your best friends. What better way to befriend them than to invite their friends and family to join the party?

One character you can invite is Cappuccino, Cinnamoroll's best friend who enjoys napping and snacking. As long as you have a cabin full of food prepared for him, he'll visit throughout the year to liven up the island. Here's how to get Cappuccino to visit your island in Hello Kitty Island Adventure.

How to invite Cappuccino as an Island Visitor in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

The two requirements for inviting Cappuccino to your island are waiting until he begins traveling and building a cabin that meets his requirements. Currently, Cappuccino will arrive in Hello Kitty Island Adventure on February 6, 2025, giving you only a few days after My Melody's reminder to prepare a cabin for him.

Before Cappuccino visits your island, you'll need to prepare a cabin with the following requirements:

  • Must have two Bakery items.
  • Must have two Coffee items.
  • Must have two Pizza items.
  • Must have two Soda items.

You're good to go as long as you meet these four requirements. You can use any cabin available in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, but I'd recommend spots like Spooky Swamp, Mount Hothead, or Cloud Island if you have it unlocked. You can also upgrade a cabin or two if you want Cappuccino and other visitors in more populated areas like Seaside Resort.

How to meet Cappuccino's Cabin requirements in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

Unlike other visitors who want specific furniture types or food, Cappuccino is all about food. That said, you'll need to unlock the oven, espresso machine, pizza oven, and soda machine. The oven is available early on in your playthrough, but the others require exploring each region and befriending Hangyodon, Retsuko, and Pompompurin.

Once you unlock each machine, you'll be ready to create two of each dish. Although any that have these four tags are solid additions to your cabin, here are some easy early-game ones I recommend:

Food Type Food Item Recipe
Bakery Mama's Apple Pie
Strawberry Shortcake
Tofu Bread
Flour + Apple
Flour + Strawberry
Flour + Tofu
Coffee Candlenut Coffee "Failed" recipe using items not in other recipes.
Examples: Candlenut + Apple, Pineapple, or Tofu
Pizza Tofu Pizza
Fruit Pizza
Dough + Tofu
Dough + Apple or Strawberry
Soda Apple Soda
Joke Soda
Strawberry Soda
Cactus Cream + Apple
Cactus Cream + Tofu
Cactus Cream + Strawberry

Although these are a few recommendations for easy recipes, you can use any oversupplied items. For example, if you have a ton of Sugarkelp from befriending Keroppi, you can turn it into Sugarkelp Cakes, Dessert Pizza, or Sweet Soda. Even if a recipe fails, the default options work for Cappuccino's cabin requirements, allowing you to experiment and discover new recipes.

Once you have every item, unlock any cabin you wish using some spare Strawberry Crates before placing everything down. After satisfying his cabin requirements, you'll have to wait a day for Cappuccino to visit, so don't worry if he doesn't appear right away.

The cover image for Jujutsu Odyseey with the main character chilling in the background

Like many Roblox games, Jujutsu Odyssey drops you into the world, barely explains how it works, and probably laughs as you die to the first low-level mobs. Well, no more. We went through the grueling tutorials and mastered the controls, and we're here to help new players like you. In this guide, we'll tell you how the controls work so you can get on with actually playing Jujutsu Odyssey.

Jujutsu Odyssey PC Keybinds

If you're on PC, the first thing you should do is learn where the Shiftlock keybind is (it's the Ctrl key). Once you do that, the rest of the controls are mostly usual. One thing that you absolutely need to master in this game is blocks, evasion, and dodges (dashing). We're not kidding; if you don't block or dodge in this game, you're going to have a bad time, so make sure you remember these keybinds.

Action Keybind
Move Forward W
Move Backwards S
Strafe Left A
Strafe Right D
Attack Left Click (M1)
Use Hotkey Items 1 - 9 (you need these to ready your weapons/firsts)
Interact / Use / Talk E
Block (VERY IMPORTANT!) F
Dash Q
Jump Space
Drop Attack Right Click (M2)
Air Combo Space (while attacking an enemy)
Evasion (USEFUL) R
Pick up / Carry H
Execute J
Awakening / Mode change G
End Mode N
Run Left Shift (needs to be held)
Shiftlock (enable ASAP) Ctrl
Open Menu M
Binding Vow B
Special Move 1 Z
Special Move 2 X
Special Move 3 C
Special Move 4 V
Console command `
Cinematic Mode P

If you don't like some of these keybinds, good news, you can actually rebind some of them. Open the Menu (M), select "Options" and navigate to the "Controls" tab. Select "Click to Edit" for each key you'd like to re-assign.

Jujutsu Odyssey Xbox and PlayStation Keybinds

Action Keybind (Xbox / PlayStation)
Move Forward Analog Up
Move Backwards Analog Down
Strafe Left Analog Left
Strafe Right Analog Right
Attack X / Square
Navigate hotbar LB or RB / L1 or R1
Interact / Use / Talk X / Square
Block (VERY IMPORTANT!) Left Trigger / L2
Dash B / Circle
Jump A / X
Drop Attack Y / Triangle (during an air combo)
Air Combo A / X (while attacking an enemy)
Evasion (USEFUL) No key (Select from Hotbar)
Pick up / Carry No key (Select from Hotbar)
Execute No key (Select from Hotbar)
Awakening / Mode change R3 / R3
End Mode No key (Select from Hotbar)
Run L3 / L3
Shiftlock (enable ASAP) Options / Options
Open Menu Select the Menu Button with the cursor
Binding Vow No key (Select from Hotbar)
Special Move 1 No key (Select from Hotbar)
Special Move 2 No key (Select from Hotbar)
Special Move 3 No key (Select from Hotbar)
Special Move 4 No key (Select from Hotbar)
Console command No key (Select from Hotbar)
Cinematic Mode No key (Select from Hotbar)

Unfortunately, a lot of actions don't have a dedicated button (or button combination) on the controller, so you'll need to select them manually from the Hotbar. The good news is that playing Jujutsu Odyssey on a controller feels great.

That's all there is to it. Whether you are playing using the controller or mouse and keyboard, have fun playing Jujutsu Odyssey. If you need a boost or some Clan Spins, check out our Jujutsu Odyssey codes.

Books for adults about vampires

However you look at it, vampires and their lore are a massive part of modern horror. The bloodthirsty creatures have appeared in everything from the darkest settings to children's stories and everything in between.

The concept of vampires has been around for thousands of years. The first known written reference to them dates back to 1,047 AD, and the idea of blood-sucking monsters has gone on to inspire writers for generations.

If you're after some vampire tales to keep you awake at night, here are 10 of the best books I've ever read on the subject.

Vampires: A Handbook of History & Lore of the Undead by Agnes Hollyhock

Vampires: A Handbook of History & Lore of the Undead by Agnes Hollyhock

I'm just going to start this out with the one and only non-fiction book I've included on this list, because if you're going to read about vampires in fiction, then it's a good idea to know about the lore and history of the mythical creature.

In Vampires, Agnes Hollyhock looks at the basis of the vampire myth, as well as some famous historical people who have been accused of vampirism themselves, such as Vlad the Impaler and Elizabeth Bathory. It's always interesting to see myth and reality crossover, and in this case, a little bit scary as well.

Dracula by Bram Stoker

If you think of vampire books, then Dracula is likely the first title that springs to mind. It's a classic for a reason, and absolutely a must-read if you're interested in vampires or the dark, gothic vibe that Stoker brings to the table.

This where knowing the history of the vampire comes in handy. Dracula was based on Vlad the Impaler, and Stoker did an incredible job of turning a person from history who has all but turned into a thing of myth, into an actual myth. Now, Dracula is a name known worldwide and nobody will ever think of vampires without thinking of the character created by Stoker.

Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice

Imagine the tales that could be told by a vampire who chose semi-life willingly, has reached 200 years of age, and has seen countless people live and die around himself. That's the premise of Interview with the Vampire, and it's filled with dark reality and history expertly woven together by Rice.

The dark and unbelievably gothic tale is of Louis, who chose to become a vampire after the death of his younger brother, and Lestat, the vampire who turned Louis into a vampire, an all-around pretty terrible guy. It's all told to a young reporter, who learns absolutely nothing from the whole sorry tale and will leave you feeling angry but glad to have read this epic book.

The Strain by Guillermo del Toro

The Strain by Guillermo del Toro

Guillermo del Toro is renowned for his mythical horror movies, but he's a pretty great writer as well. The Strain, released in 2009, puts a different spin on vampirism and turns it into an almost zombie-esque contagion that threatens to overtake New York City.

Of course, all of the well-known vampire tropes are there. The contagion is transmitted through biting, and those bitten then go on to become vampires themselves, but there's also a huge amount of relatable modernity to the story. The CDC plays a huge role, with epidemiologists taking on the "Ancients" and a former Nazi SS soldier (no, seriously) to overcome the threat.

Fledgling by Octavia Butler

Imagine opening your eyes one day with no memory of your life before that moment, suffering from critical injuries, and no idea how you got to where you are. That's how Fledgling begins, with Shori waking up in a cave and stumbling into a world of unknowns.

As an Ina, Shori is essentially a type of vampire who feeds on human blood, but who manages to co-exist with humans because their vampirism is biological. In essence, they're just another species of humans with a blood-drinking quirk. It's an interesting take, and Fledgling is an incredible read if you're looking for a new perspective on vampires.

Anno Dracula by Kim Newman

Anno Dracula by Kim Newman

Anno Dracula is by far one of my favorite vampire-themed books of all time because it hammers home a truth about humanity that everyone knows but is somehow ignored in polite society — humans are greedy, and we will take what we can if we can get away with it.

Anno Dracula is an alternate history of the 19th century in which Van Helsing did not defeat Dracula, and the iconic vampire ends up actually turning Queen Victoria. The rest of Britain quickly follows suit as the country descends into chaos, with a predominantly vampire population. Those who don't choose to turn are hunted, jailed, or impaled without trial. The plot features many real people, including Jack the Ripper, and gets pretty dark, but it's such an incredible read.

Fevre Dream by George R.R. Martin

Fevre Dream by George R.R. Martin

George R.R. Martin is now world-renowned for writing Game of Thrones, but he's also written stories from outside of the Westeros universe, including Fevre Dream, in which vampires and their hunters play a pivotal role in the plot.

It's all set on the Mississippi River in the mid-1800s, with Abner Marsh and Joshua York joining forces to create a riverboat named the Fevre Dream. Abner thinks it's just a riverboat, but Joshua is using it as a cover for multiple layers of hidden truths and outright lies. There's a lot of drama and more twists than the Mississippi River itself, and you'll be glad that you read Fevre Dream when it's done.

The Vampire Tapestry by Suzy McKee Charnas

The Vampire Tapestry by Suzy McKee Charnas

Another example of a writer choosing their version of vampirism to be biological rather than supernatural, The Vampire Tapestry is almost an accidental novel. Charnas originally only wrote the first chapter, which then spun further chapters, which then became a book of five interconnected tales.

Each chapter is novella-length, and each tells a different tale from the perspective of different characters. Each story connects through Dr. Weyland, a vampire himself, who doesn't quite understand why he wants to feed on human blood. He learns more about himself through the five different stories and the characters he meets in each.

I Am Legend by Richard Matheson

I Am Legend by Richard Matheson

If you're more familiar with the movie starring Will Smith, you probably think that I've gone off track and perhaps lost my mind along the way. After all, I Am Legend has nothing about vampires or blood drinking. However, the movie is loosely based on the 1954 post-apocalyptic novel of the same name, by Richard Matheson.

The vampires in I am Legend are not just any old vampires, and this book takes the concept of vampirism to a whole new level of gore and darkness. These vampires will drain a human's blood within seconds, and quite violently at that. Survivors become vampires themselves, while the lucky ones are killed during an attack.

Salem's Lot by Stephen King

Salem's Lot by Stephen King

When Stephen King writes a book about vampires, and then goes on to say that even he thinks it's his favorite of all the books he's ever written, you absolutely listen to him. He's the king of modern horror, after all, and his opinions carry weight when the book he's talking about is Salem's Lot

A vampire moving into your childhood town is never ideal, but when the vampire starts turning the townsfolk, it really becomes something of a problem. Ben returns to Jerusalem's Lot to write his next novel but soon finds himself in the middle of a twisted plot to turn the town into a coven. There is no happy ending, but Salem's Lot is a wild ride from start to finish.
