Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 is a really good remake of the PS2-era skateboarding games THP 3 and THPS 4. However, it is missing something very important. In the game's recreation of THPS 3's iconic Canada level, someone has been removed: The dude pissing off the edge of the map. I decided to reach out to the developers…

Since Simcity's long-term dormancy, Cities: Skylines 2 has grasped for the crown of best city builder. But it is far from the only one on the block. Urbek City Builder is a colorful alternative, using voxel-based graphics and some novel mechanical ideas to carve out its own space in the genre. It even has some great DLC to round out the package, if you want it. It's also extra cheap on Steam right now.

Not every game gets its audience right away. Plenty of classics were not commercially successful or critically derided when they first arrived, only to build a reputation through word-of-mouth. John Wick Hex was one such game, a slick and exciting tactics treat that was a pleasantly small-scale offering. But soon, it will disappear from storefronts entirely.

Sandbox games live and die by how much stuff you can do. They can be lean or expansive, massive or tight, but each must offer multiple approaches to the open word and its challenges. Games like Roadcraft and State of Decay manage this well, though they represent opposite ends of the sandbox spectrum. A vehicle-based survival game called The Front just got a huge update, which allows players to customize vehicles, opening up almost endless possibilities.

chainsaw man uniqlo

Uniqlo in Japan will release new Chainsaw Man T-shirts as part of its UT collection. The first collaboration it had with the popular anime and manga series was in 2023.

The new Chainsaw Man collaboration at Uniqlo will focus on the theatrical adaptation of the Reze Arc. There will be three different designs to get, and they're all priced at 1,990 JPY ($13.50). The prices for the shirts will likely be different when or if the shirts appear in stores outside of Japan.

As for the designs, you can choose one that features Denji in his Chainsaw Man form. There's also one with Pochita on the front. The last t-shirt has a plain front, but the back depicts a fight between Chainsaw Man and Bomb Girl. Here are the designs:

Chainsaw Man began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump from December 2018. MAPPA handled the anime adaptation, which ran from October 2022 to December 2022. It follows Denji, a down-on-his-luck young man who lives with Pochita, a chainsaw demon, in abject poverty. To survive and pay off the debt he inherited from his father, he kills demons and sells their body parts. After his death, Pochita revives him as Chainsaw Man. The Reze Arc will continue where the first season left off, and it'll come out in Japan on September 19, 2025.

Chainsaw Man is available to watch on streaming platforms like Crunchyroll. Viz Media licensed the English version of the manga. The Uniqlo shirts will come out in August 2025.

New Fields of Mistria Saturday Market Characters Appear in Trailer

NPC Studio used social media to go over various additions to Fields of Mistria that launch as part of the July 2025 update, and the newest trailer introduces the new Saturday Market characters Taliferro and Wheedle. The two will appear each week in-game after first unlocking the weekly fair in general, then after completing an additional quest to make both of them start opening stalls.

Taliferro is entirely new to Fields of Mistria as of this update, but players might have already encountered Wheedle ahead of his Saturday Market appearance by going through Balor's heart events. Taliferro is a chef. He's in charge of a cooking challenge that takes place at the market. The video cuts off before showing what that might look like in-game. Meanwhile, Wheedle runs a more traditional type of shop. His script teased he'll sell items you can't get at other places. However, the phrasing does suggest he might not be on the up-and-up.

Here's the latest video. The announcement alongside it noted we need to finish a "Upgrade the Saturday Market" quest for the town to make these two vendors appear in front of the Manor House where Elsie, Adeline, and Eiland live.

One of the last trailers leading up to the patch's launch showed what the new heart event for March looks like.

Fields of Mistria is in early access for the PC, and the new update arrives on July 21, 2025.

Next Otome Game Plush Could Be Benetti from Temirana

Idea Factory International announced a Makeship campaign to create a plush of Benetti, the mascot character from the upcoming otome game Temirana: The Lucky Princess and The Tragic Knights. It is currently in the petition portion of the process. If 200 people support it, then a stuffed animal of the character will appear.

How the process works is that right now, it would cost $2 to make a pledge to support the concept. If 200 people would commit, then a prototype would be made and an actual campaign for the Temirana Benetti plush would take place. That could happen as early as August 2025, but might not take place until November 2025. The plush would then ship after production. At that point, someone who pledged would also be charged $27.99 for the complete product. Those who purchase the otome plush during the actual campaign would pay $29.99.

Benetti is a side character in Temirana. It's the mascot that lives with Princess Cecilia Farias Temirana. The character is also committed to helping Cecilia find a love interest. So as we go through the visual novel and meet the knights Adel, Josephy, Kiya, Milan, and Tobias, Benetti would act as an aide.

Temirana: The Lucky Princess and The Tragic Knights will come to the Nintendo Switch in 2026, and the Makeship campaign for the Benetti plush of the otome game mascot could appear in November 2025 if the petition succeeds.

MMOs like Old School RuneScape

If you're looking for some silver lining out of the litany of unfortunate cancelations and layoffs that have been rocking the games industry, listen up if you're a Fallout fan.

One of these many unfortunate stories of late was the cancelation of a new MMO by Bethesda parent company ZeniMax Media, but the reallocation of funds from that project's ashes means that Fallout 5 is now "fully greenlit" for development.

Fallout 4 launched 10 years ago
Image via Bethesda

In a new episode of the Xbox Two Podcast, Windows Central editor and industry insider Jez Corden says "Fallout in general" is "where they've decided to make the investments and where the money will be translating to a surefire win," compared to an assumed gamble that was the canceled MMO.

This means that Fallout 5, along with "full steam ahead" development on Elder Scrolls VI and Starfield DLC, are next on the docket for Bethesda over the next few years, according to Corden. When any of these projects will come to fruition is another question entirely, and Corden's report is not much to go off of regardless, but this can be perceived as a positive in a sea of negative news surrounding games right now, especially Xbox.

Corden opined that a new studio could be spun up out of the organizational changes specifically for Fallout's development, but he claimed that was also just conjecture.

Fallout 4's 10th anniversary is coming up later this year, and Fallout 76 is turning seven years old in the fall, so a new mainline entry in the franchise has been a long time coming. And still, with a few other projects in the works, it may be several more years away from ever even seeing the light of day.

Fallout has had a big resurgence in recent years, especially thanks to the Amazon Prime Video series and turnaround of Fallout 76, so Bethesda attempting to capitalize on that hype by turning its attention back to the post-apocalyptic franchise seems like a no-brainer.

For now, take this as a modicum of positivity to come out of a massively unfortunate situation, but also don't hold your breath about getting any new information or confirmation about Fallout 5 for the next couple years.

Three Guardians clad in Edge of Fate armor pose for a promotional image in Destiny 2

Another year marks another new expansion for Destiny 2. Year eight of the FPS looter shooter begins with The Edge of Fate, a new DLC launching July 15.

Having defeated The Witness in The Final Shape, the Guardians now turn their attention to a mysterious invitation to the edge of the solar system and a new destination called Kepler. New enemies, weapons, armor, powers, and discoveries await.

Before The Edge of Fate begins, though, Destiny 2 will go offline for several hours of server downtime and maintenance. Bungie will be hard at work deploying the update to the servers, but in doing so, players will need to find something else to do while they await its arrival.

Here's everything you need to know about when the game will be unavailable and when the new DLC will kick off another year of Bungie's liveservice title.

Destiny 2 server downtime - The Edge of Fate

Below you can find all the info about Destiny 2's server downtime ahead of The Edge of Fate's launch. The game's servers should only be down for around four hours, but downtime can be extended if any issues occur.

Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate maintenance and downtime

  • 6am CT: Destiny 2 maintenance will begin.
  • 7:45am CT : Destiny 2 is brought offline.
  • 12pm CT: Destiny 2 will be brought back online.

    • Update 9.0.0.1 (Edge of Fate) will be playable on all platforms and regions.

  • 2pm CT: Destiny 2 maintenance is scheduled to complete.

Maintenance should last around eight hours, but this sort of thing is routinely extended, especially when a new expansion launches. Expect there to be some server hiccups and error codes in the first few hours after launch.

So you don't have to worry about time zone confusion, we've included this countdown that ends exactly when The Edge of Fate is scheduled to go live when Destiny 2 is back online after server downtime:

[hurrytimer id="1064693"]

Once The Edge of Fate is live, players will have four days to prepare for the launch of the DLC's new raid (Contest Mode), which begins on Saturday, July 19 at 12pm CT. Before then, players can run through the expansion's story mode and whatever other endgame activities there are to level up and be ready.
