kingdom hearts necklaces

Square Enix will release Kingdom Hearts necklaces in gold and silver, with the charms resembling common motifs and items from the series. These necklaces are available via the Japanese Square Enix store and although the North American store has necklaces for other series by the company, it does not, as of the time of writing, carry these particular necklaces.

Each necklace costs 41,800 JPY ($272.45), and pre-orders are open. Square Enix will ship these items out on April 18, 2026. The gold necklace has two charms: a heart and the Keyblade. The heart represents Kingdom Hearts, which appears as a heart-shaped moon in the game. A keyhole is on the back of the heart charm, too.

As for the silver necklace, there's a bit more room for customization. The main charm resembles a coat of arms. Keyblades act as the supporters, and you can choose a design to appear in the top right corner of the shield. There are six options to choose from: Sora, Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Axel, and a Thalassa Shell. A symbol represents each character. For instance, Sora's symbol is the crown, Riku's is the Heartless symbol, and Kairi's is a Paopu fruit.

Both Kingdom Hearts necklaces are available to order from the Japanese Square Enix store. Other jewellery based on Kingdom Hearts that is coming out soon includes Keyblade-like earrings from Mayla.

Saya no Uta Nendoroid Figure Comes With Meaty Room Background

Good Smile Company shared release windows for the Saya no Uta (The Song of Saya) Nendoroid, and it confirmed the figure will come with a background based on what Fuminori Sakisaka sees when he looks at a room in his home for display purposes. The item arrives in Japan in July 2026, then shows up worldwide in Q4 2026. It will cost $42.99/¥6,800

This figure doesn't attempt to depict the true form of Saya at all, and instead the Nendoroid involves a chibi version of the one Fuminori and us players see as we go through Saya no Uta. She comes with three face plates. One features a normal smile, she looks sly in a second one, and the third looks like her eyes are closed and she's about to kiss someone or something. She comes with optional wings that can be attached to her back. There's also some of the gel meat she can hold. The package also comes with the meat room, which can be removed and used as a background when displaying her.

Here are some example pictures showing how The Song of Saya figure looks:

Good Smile Company confirmed another figure of the character too. That's a scale model of her with her wings showing.

The Saya no Uta Nendoroid will come to Japan in July 2026, the figure will appear worldwide in Q4 2026, and the game is available on PCs outside of Japan in English as The Song of Saya.

My Hero Academia: All's Justice Gameplay Modes Shared

Bandai Namco shared a new My Hero Academia: All's Justice trailer that is split between looks at three gameplay modes from the anime and manga-inspired game and offers commentary about them from Producer Aoba Miyazaki. It highlights how the game will work, while also going over some of its different versions, features, and bonuses.

Things start with overview gameplay footage that focuses on the My Hero Academia: All's Justice modes. The first to come up is Team Up Mission. That is more of an "open world" mode in which all of the U-A students will fight enemies around the city. The narration suggests we might be able to pick up additional fights and quests by interacting with people we encounter as we explore. The Archives Battle part of the game came up second, and that focuses on the fights from the My Hero Academia anime and manga. This focuses on first-hand experience of the matches we know about. The last part is an actual Story Mode that covers The Final War storyline.

At about the 1:55 mark of the over 12 minute video, Producer Aoba Miyazaki's portion starts. That started with a peek at the different editions, highlighting that Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate Editions and their bonuses. After that, there are closer looks at the Team Up Mission, Archives Battle, and Story Mode in My Hero Academia: All's Justice in further detail with Miyazaki's commentary. Here's the new My Hero Academia: All's Justice trailer on YouTube that shows examples of the gameplay modes that we'll see in the game.

Pokemon Legends: Z-A Ranked Battle Mega Stone Bug Confirmed

The Japanese social media account for the Pokemon series confirmed Nintendo and Game Freak are aware of a Pokemon Legends: Z-A Ranked Battle bug that might keep someone from getting the Mega Stone they rightfully earned from hitting a certain tier. The account first acknowledged the issue the evening of November 6, 2025, then followed up confirming it is still under investigation on November 7, 2025.

The issue some Pokemon Legends: Z-A players are experiencing involves the Mega Stones being given away in Season 2 of the online Ranked Battle mode. If we compete, we should get Greninjite for Greninja after reaching Rank Y, then Delphoxite for Delphox after getting to Rank S. However, reports came in that stated people didn't get the rightful rewards for their tier. The second part of the statement online did note that people who weren't able to get the Mega Stones as a result of the bug will get another chance. However, it didn't note how yet.

This comes after a patch that made it easier to get the Mega Stone rewards from the Pokemon Legends: Z-A Ranked Battle. During Season 1, someone had to get to Rank K in order to get Greninjite. As a result, Game Freak adjusted that for Season 2 and made it possible to get that Greninja Mega Stone again at a lower tier.

We do know what to expect in the future for at least one upcoming Mega Stone Ranked Battle reward. Chesnaught's Chesnaughtite will be doled out in Season 3.

Pokemon Legends: Z-A is available for the Switch and Switch 2, and Ranked Battle Season 2 will end on November 26, 2025.

There's Another GTA VI Delay After Rockstar Firings and Union-Busting Allegations

Rockstar Games announced yet another Grand Theft Auto VI delay following the developer firing about 30-40 people and Independent Workers' Union of Great Britain accusing the GTA VI studio of union-busting. (The studio told Bloomberg that the employees' "gross misconduct" was the cause and not anything related to a union.) The new GTA VI release date is now November 19, 2026, rather than May 26, 2026

The official statement regarding the GTA VI delay ended up being quite short, and it didn't mention the dismissals or possible union issues. It only announced we will need to wait six months more than expected, then stated that time will be put toward ensuring the quality of the final product is what we expect from the open-world game. It also apologized for this most recent rescheduling and thanked people for their support so far.

Here's the full announcement:

"Grand Theft Auto VI will now release on Thursday, November 19, 2026.

"We are sorry for adding additional time to what we realize has been a long wait, but these extra months will allow us to finish the game with the level of polish you have come to expect and deserve.

"We want to thank you again for your patience and support. While the wait is a little longer, we are incredibly excited for players to experience the sprawling state of Leonida and a return to modern day Vice City."

The last announcement regarding the game came up back in May 2025. That included the May 2025 GTA VI release date, which itself was a delay from the original Fall 2025 launch window. That also included a new trailer.

The Grand Theft Auto VI release date is November 19, 2026, and we will see it on consoles like the PS5 and Xbox Series X.

ARC Raiders scary sight

"Don't shoot! I'm friendly!" Bang.

Welcome to ARC Raiders, the post-apocalyptic world overrun by AI where some people are gathering wires and bits of plastic while others are bloodthirsty murderers trying to take everything you have.

ARC Raiders
Image via Embark Studios

The latest and hottest extraction shooter of the moment has been the talk of gamers across the internet since launching last week, but the very nature of the PvPvE title has caused quite a bit of debate among those who've hopped online.

ARC Raiders' more casual-friendly vibe has attracted quite a bit of new players to the genre, myself included, who are pacifistic when it comes to playing in solo activities and trying to complete quests given by NPCs. That's no doubt done a lot to popularize it, but it's also caused some controversies.

A good amount of players who enjoy the extraction genre play it for the PvP, which leads to a lot of encounters where others will shoot enemies on sight without using their microphones or trying to hear a case being plead. The game has a built-in "don't shoot" emote and voice line, and it's everywhere in solos as Raiders go from one area to the next, trying to find whatever they need for a quest or upgrades.

But at the same time, PvP is just part of this genre's whole hook. It's going to happen. Sometimes it really sucks when it does, especially when you have valuable loot or are on a fetch quest that takes time to complete, but the game is built to be this way. I can sympathize with some players who are annoyed by those who won't even hold a conversation and just want to gun people down, but at the same time, you kind of have to expect it.

I also think that some of the PvP-centric players who thrive on ruining other players' experiences could let their foot off the gas a little bit as opposed to just actively trying to troll others. Will they? I doubt it. I've been on both ends of ARC Raiders murder, and I've felt angered when taken out but also guilty and/or satisfied when beating someone else in a fight. And that's part of what makes the game so special.

A good amount of my fun so far in ARC Raiders has been working together with other players, helping them fight ARCs who are overwhelming them, or even placing down a Zipline so someone can get to where they need to be for a quest. But that's how I enjoy the game. I don't expect others to feel the same way. If they thrive on sniping other Raiders and taking their loot, then that's their prerogative, too.

I get it, it sucks to lose your loot or have your progress halted. But as things currently stand, that's the nature of the extraction genre. It's you, versus the environment, versus other players. The game wouldn't be too much fun if EVERYONE was friendly all the time, would it?

I would not be against some sort of PvE-only mode or limited time experience where players could band together to take down massive ARCs in a Destiny 2 raid-like activity, eventually. But for now, every time you deploy into the wilderness topside, you're risking losing everything on your person and that's how the game should be.

Where do you stand on this debate, dear reader? It's hard to believe it's been just one week since the game dropped, so I'm curious to see where this conversation heads over time.

Let me know in the comments below, and I'll see you in the Rust Belt with my "don't shoot" emote as I try to find mushrooms for my chicken. Or maybe I'll be shooting you while I hide in a bush. It depends.

Ruby Residence in ARC Raiders

After Rain Comes is a relatively simple quest in ARC Raiders, and you can complete it to earn more rewards.

To begin the mission, you'll have to obtain it first from Celeste. The quest requires you to locate a particular item on the Buried City map. This guide will help you complete all the necessary steps of After Rain Comes.

ARC Raiders After Rain Comes quest walkthrough

The After Rain Comes quest can be broken down into two major parts.

  • Find the flooded solar panels near the Grandioso Apartments
  • Repair the solar panels using 5 Wires and 2 Batteries

The first task is to reach the Gradioso Apartments in Buried City. The apartments are located in the southern part of the map, and I have marked the location. The main task isn't to find the Grandioso Apartments; it's to repair the solar panels at the location. The panels are situated on the right side of the building. In simple words, you will have to be at the marked location on the screenshot below.

Gradioso Apartments map location in Buried City in ARC Raiders
Screenshot and remix by Destructoid

You'll find a series of solar panels on the ground, covered with sand. There's another set of panels with a yellow box under it. Finding these panels completes the first part of the task.

Repairing the solar panels

The next part of the quest requires fixing the panels. You're going to need the following resources.

  • Five Wires
  • Two Batteries

Once you start the repair process, these items will be consumed and gone from your inventory. To complete the quest quickly, it's best to bring the items with you when you're starting the quest. The only alternative is to loot the item. You can find both areas marked with an electrical icon on the map. Wires are relatively easy to find, while getting a battery can sometimes take more time.

If you choose to loot in the region, make sure to be careful about the ARC enemies. Dying in the process will begin the quest from the start and waste more of your time. Once the panels are fixed, the After Rains quest will be complete.

After Rain Comes quest rewards in ARC Raiders

Here's the complete list of rewards you get from completing After Rain Comes.

  • Five Blue Light Stick
  • Three Antiseptic
  • Five Durable Cloth

If you're looking to find more rewards, try completing Our Presence Up There and A Balanced Harvest.

Several ARCs patrolling a location while a raider is hiding in ARC Raiders.

ARC Raiders is a challenging game. It's a title that requires time, dedication, and patience, especially when it comes to procuring valuable items. But some don't have any of that, and are willing to fork over $80 for just a single blueprint.

As first outlined by GamesFuze, some ARC Raiders players have already set up shop in certain online marketplaces, selling in-game items for real-world money, with prices going up to $80 or more for particular blueprints. I've scoured what seems to be the go-to seller, GameFlip, and saw stuff ranging from the most common find to the rarest of the rare, with costs usually reflecting the item's in-game value.

A set of Complex Gun Parts will run you $7.40, though you can basically farm them for free by following our guide on the topic; A Venator (pistol) blueprint is five bucks; Wolfpack grenades are another five buckaroos a pop; while Utility Station upgrades are around $25 each. The game itself costs $39.99, so that workstation better be worth it, as you're paying more than half of that for it.

A player character in Arc Raiders hiding behind a car.
Loot is at the heart of ARC Raiders, but shouldn't cost you a thing. Image via Embark Studios

All items in ARC Raiders can be procured for free, i.e., no in-game item with any functionality can be purchased or sold for real-world money. Hell, there's not even a proper trading channel in the game. What these sellers seem to be expecting is that you pay them and then queue up alongside them and pray they don't just shoot and kill you in the match itself, because there's no other way to be given any of that loot otherwise.

What's more, they could give you the necessary items, but if it's more than a couple, you're probably not going to be able to fit them into your safe pockets, meaning that if you get killed, the items are gone forever. It's as close to a scam without actually being one as it gets, and I wholeheartedly advise you not to participate in them.

Nothing in this game is so rare or hard to obtain that you should fork over actual funds. We've got dozens of guides up for just about every item, rare or common, in the game, so why not check those out and get a sense of accomplishment while not spending a dime on random sellers that probably don't have your best interests in mind?

We've also got you covered where quests are concerned: Back On Top, Unexpected Initiatives, and Communication Hideout, just to name a few.

Two cats in the starting scene of Mewgenics

"Big," "crazy," and "challenging" were the first adjectives that developers Edmund McMillen and Tyler Glaiel chose to describe their upcoming roguelike, Mewgenics.

"I think a lot of people see the game and they think it's this like standard turn-based strategy game with some cat breeding," McMillen told Destructoid before a hands-on preview on Nov. 6. "I promise you, it is deeper than almost anything you've played. It's astoundingly deep."

Mewgenics' tutorial is already more complex—and scatological—than your average roguelike. Instead of letting me pick my starter from a set of characters with fixed stats and archetypes, like The Binding of Isaac and Vampire Survivors do, the game gave me two cats with random initial stats and skills.

Choosing two starting cats in Mewgenic's tutorial.
The randomness starts right in the tutorial. Screenshot by Destructoid

The tutorial plays like a standard roguelike RPG. You fight enemies in maps with unique layouts as if FTL had a baby with The Binding of Isaac, then choose one of a selection of random cat skills to upgrade your characters as they level up before you keep exploring the map. When you finally finish a run, the unique chaos of Mewgenics starts.

Cats you've used retire and are no longer playable, but they can breed now. Their offspring randomly inherit their parents' skills, passives, and stats. You can get boring or even bad breeds, but you can get lucky like me and get two sevens in the base stats. "That is a crazy good cat," Tyler told me as I started the adventure.

A cat building screen in Mewgenics showing a cat's stats.
I might as well show off my lucky cat. Screenshot by Destructoid

From this point on, the randomness just keeps building. I now had new cats with random stats, random skills, on a random map with random enemies on a random layout. I had to win so I could pick a random skill for a cat that randomly leveled up, all while synergizing it all with their random equipment and base stats, which would be randomized again when the cats bred before my next attempt. It's a chaotic version of Baldur's Gate 3, where every little choice matters and affects the future of the game.

Mewgenics feels complex, but not right off the bat

In this short preview, I could see the potential for combos, strategies, and teambuilding of Mewgenics. However, the game only reveals itself after some hours of gameplay. The first run is easy—as it needs to be—because there are too many status effects, skills, passives, and items that force you to pause to understand what's happening. At one point, one of my cats had seven different status effects on it (thanks to farting too much), which felt a bit overwhelming.

A cat in Mewgenics with seven different debuffs.
How do I even start accounting for all these stats? Screenshot by Destructoid.

It is necessary to put in the time to really get the game. You must learn its vocabulary much like you would have to learn keywords in Magic: The Gathering. The card game, according to McMillen, is "the foundational core and lifeblood" of Mewgenics. "It's this complicated system that has systems on systems within it." He added that most people take around four hours to get comfortable with the game and "start playing to its strengths."

My first run of Mewgenics felt even too easy, and the random stats and skills felt almost irrelevant at the start. "You don't have to understand everything that's going on in the game right away," Tyler told me. "That's how you make this digestible for people. People can figure out a few things that they want to pay attention to and pay attention to those, and it should work for them."

The slow start of Mewgenics encouraged me to play more instead of stopping early. It's clear there's a bigger challenge later on that requires a lot of thought and dedication to these systems. For veterans who like to take the game to its extremes, Tyler is clear that "it's fully possible to break the game and get overpowered builds."

This build diversity and creative play is possible because Mewgenics is "a game of a million options, and it's forgiving enough to allow you to experiment with those options and find a comfortable play style," Edmund said. The game's 900-plus items are to blame for these endless options. It's so many items that even the devs were surprised when I dropped the bizarre Enchanting Poop after an event. "I've never gotten that result, I've never gotten the item," they said.

Mewgenics is a bold promise that few developers can deliver

The challenging part of Mewgenics, where you're able to put these complex mechanics and random events to the test, hides behind a few hours of gameplay. My concern is that all the chaos and complexity could be too much to make sense of, but it's only possible to determine once the full game is out.

Very few developers would make these multiple systems work well together in a way that they became tools for fun gameplay instead of a luck-based mess. I would be skeptical if anyone else tried something this ambitious with so many moving parts. But since Mewgenics is in the hands of people who made The Binding of Isaac a hit for the last 15 years, I'm excited to see where Edmund McMillen and Tyler Glaiel take the game when Mewgenics gets its full release.

The shadow of Isaac

Edmund hopes Mewgenics becomes a massive hit like The Binding of Isaac, but he knows how hard that is. "I don't think people even understand how big Isaac is," he said. "It's astounding. It's stupid that a game like that is as huge as it is at this point. So many people are still playing it."

Tyler agreed when Edmund said Mewgenics is his best game ever, even better than The Binding of Isaac. "This is the most fun game I've ever made," Edmund said. "And I don't expect everyone to agree with me. But I have a feeling that there will be a lot of people that really like the game."

He said half of Mewgenics' game testers play way more than the duo expected. "A week later, [some testers] will be like 'yeah, I got 280 hours in the game.' That's an achievement in itself, and it's one of those situations where I can say that regardless of how it sells. I'm very, very happy."

The devs are confident that The Binding of Isaac's biggest fans will love Mewgenics and put thousands of hours into it. "The way the game plays, unfolds, is experienced, the experimentation, the 'aha' moments, the broken builds and breaking the game" are all similar to Isaac, Edmund said.

The duo is so happy with Mewgenics that they have DLC plans and don't want to stop development too soon. The game "needs to make back its money and then be able to fund the development of DLCs, but it would have to bomb pretty hard to not do that," Edmund explained. He added that "It feels like we've got it takes six years to get into the groove and now we have to stop. So it's not going to stop."

Mewgenics releases on Feb. 10, 2026 on Steam with Deck support planned.

Best players to use in El Capitan Evolution

Here are some of my best recommendations for inclusion in the evolution.

  • Lois Openda
  • Oshoala
  • Rafa
  • Ademola Lookman
  • Ayoze Perez
  • Kolo Muani
  • Gabriel Jesus
  • Jonathan David

While the upgrades are significant, you will be able to include these cards in future evolutions to create a chain and evolve their stats further.
