Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Monday, November 24, 2025 5:57 PM Remember Tower of Fantasy? It was one of those Genshin Impact-ish gacha games, with its particular twist, so to speak, being that it's sort of an MMO. I say sort of, because it's described as a shared open world, meaning you can see other players, and there are some MMO elements, but its monetisations are much more gacha like. Or, well, they are until tomorrow, November 25th, as in quite a big move developer Hotta Studio is stripping Tower of Fantasy of all of its gacha elements. |
Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Monday, November 24, 2025 4:43 PM Look, I have my fair share of problems with Palworld, but to give credit where credit is due, after announcing their foray into publishing earlier this year, they've lined up a suite of games. Dead Take, a psychological horror complete with Baldur's Gate 3's Neil Newbon and Final Fantasy 16's Ben Starr, launched earlier this year, Truckful just looks like a delight, and now there's Vision Quench, a game for freaks like me who like it when fantasy gets a bit techy. |

And now, here we are, with a fanmade rework that's been 13 years in the making finally released, offering unto me a chance to relish in some nostalgia, but New. |

Sure, that recent look at gameplay certainly paints a polished at minimum picture, but at a cursory glance I have to admit I did just kind of write it off as vampire Witcher. Called Reflections In Red, it's a sequel to Barrilliot's Winds Of Misfortune, though it works well as a standalone release. It's also based on a real-life castle so preposterous I have no choice but to immediately steal the deeds from what I assume is a heavily fortified bank vault inside a creepy mountain somewhere. |

Bandai Namco announced its Bandai Candy division is new selling Tales of Series 30th Anniversary Card Wafers that feature wafer cookies with one of 39 different cards based on the JRPG games inside. These are now available in Japan for 155円 (~$1) per pack. While this specific item isn't showing up worldwide at the moment, ones like the Hololive set from Bandai Namco showed up on Amazon in the past.
The 39 cards in the Tales of Series 30th Anniversary Card Wafers set are broken up into the cover art from the games and characters from the JRPG entries. There are 19 game covers in the set, which run from Tales of Phantasia to Tales of Arise. 20 playable heroes and heroines show up, again starting with Cress Albane from Tales of Phantasia and closing out with Alphen from Tales of Arise. Every package gives someone one card and one wafer cookie with chocolate cream inside.
Here's a closer look at the Tales of cards that come in this set, including an image that shows what number each one is.
As a reminder, Bandai Namco is celebrating the Tales of JRPG series' anniversary in other ways as well. There is also going to be a museum exhibit in Japan. That starts its run on November 28, 2025, and its second part starts on December 19, 2025.

Ubisoft announced that an Assassin's Creed Shadows update will arrive on November 24, 2025, and it will bring a permanent "A Puzzlement" story drop quest and a temporary Attack on Titan crossover event with optional paid in-store packs. Each involves both Naoe and Yasuke.
In the case of the Attack on Titan event, that will only run until December 22, 2025. It unlocks after Yasuke is available as a playable character. Both Naoe and Yasuke will investigate experiments and a cult with a person named Ada, who they'll meet northeast of Yamashiro. A katana and objects will be able to be earned for free. The in-store items will let someone dress Naoe up as Mikasa ackerman and Yasuke as a Titan.
The story drop features both an environmental puzzle and new skills. Basically, it will involve each character learning signature sorts of moves from the other.
Here's the full trailer for the Assassin's Creed Shadows Attack on Titan crossover event.
It isn't uncommon for this kind of crossover to appear in an Assassin's Creed game. The Origins installment involved one with FFXV that led to themed content appearing in both games.
Assassin's Creed Shadows is available on the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, with a Switch 2 version arriving on December 2, 2025, and the Attack on Titan crossover runs between November 25, 2025 and December 22, 2025. Kodansha handles the Attack on Titan manga, and the anime is streaming on services like Crunchyroll.

Taito announced its next Final Fantasy XIV item will be a bank based on the Fat Cat minion added in FFXIV 2.4. It will show up as a prize in Japanese arcades at the end of November 2025, with Dengeki Hobby Web stating it will arrive on November 28, 2025. The only store that ships worldwide showing it at the moment is Aitai Kuji, which has a listing up for ¥3,000 (~$19).
The FFXIV Fat Cat piggy bank is smaller than the traditional decoration, as it will only be just under five inches long (12cm). It looks exactly like the calico feline from the game, so it's mostly white with some black and orange spots on the back and an orange tail. The product listing didn't mention the materials it is made of or show a possible plug on the underside that can be removed to retrieve collected coins.
Here's the first photo of the prize:
Since its launch, the FFXIV Fat Cat has been turned into all kinds of merchandise. For example, there's a cushion that looks like it available worldwide, as well as a plush tissue box. It also appeared in the LINE sticker set based on minions from the series.
Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and the Fat Cat bank based on the minion from this entry will appear in Japanese arcades on November 28, 2025.

Due to the accelerated schedule for the global version of Umamusume: Pretty Derby, the Halloween Trainee alts for Rice Shower and Super Creek are only just joining the worldwide version on November 24, 2025. They are also joined by two new SSR Halloween-themed cards with Tamamo Cross and Zenno Rob Roy on them. That banner and a Halloween Makeover will be live until December 6, 2025, and the new characters and cards will join the general poll after that.
Like many other alts, the Halloween Rice Shower and Super Creek alts aren't all that different from their standard Trainee versions, in terms of stats, though they have different Growth Rates and skillsets. Chiffon-Wrapped Mummy: Super Creek is still designed to work as a Pace Chaser who focuses on Medium and Long distance Turf races. She comes with the Unique Skill Give Mummy a Hug, which helps her break out of the pack and pass on the final straight if the positioning is right. Other notable Potential Skills include Professor of Curvature and Mystifying Murmur. Vampire Makeover: Rice Shower is intended to be a Pace Chaser who runs Medium and Long Turf races as well. Her Unique Skill Every Rose Has Its Fangs is more conditional, since she needs to be both well-positioned and pressured by another runner for it to restore stamina. Her most remarkable Potential Skills are Tantalizing Trick and Corner Recovery.
Here are both of those infographics:
In the case of the Halloween SSR Support Cards, you should basically only pull for the Beware Halloween Night: Tamamo Cross Power card and Magical Heroine: Zenno Rob Roy Speed card if you raise a lot of Late Surgers, as both of the major Career Event skills you earn from them are for those types of runners. The Tamamo Cross one's is 15,000,000 CC, which increases velocity on an uphill for a Late Surger. The Zenno Rob Roy one could give a Late Surger the Lie in Wait stamina recovering skill that works if they're near the back mid-race.
Here are the images Cygames shared for both of those:
Umamusume: Pretty Derby is available for the PC and mobile devices worldwide, and the Halloween Chiffon-Wrapped Mummy: Super Creek, Vampire Makeover: Rice Shower, and Beware Halloween Night: Tamamo Cross Power card, and Magical Heroine: Zenno Rob Roy Speed card all debut in the global version on November 24, 2025.

Now Independent idol group Densetsu.EXE with Vtubers Mint Fantome, Phoebe Chan, and Victoria Roman, after issues with VShojo and much teasing, launched on November 22, 2025. Their first song as a trio is "Densetsu MVPs," they held their first collab stream, launched a Patreon, and shared a lore video.

The lore video features voice acting from all three and explains their goal as an idol group.
All three also held major debuts to go along with the launch of the group. Indie Vtuber Mint Fantome held a redebut stream:
Phoebe held a redebut for the group, then a 2.0 debut.
And Victoria also did the same, then shared a 2.0 debut.
There's new solo music from two of the members of the group as well. First, Phoebe Chan released "Bloom Again."
More recently, indie Vtuber Victoria Roman shared her new song "Night Parade."

Pocketpair confirmed a December 17, 2025 Home Sweet Home and Ultrakill Palworld update and again teased the 1.0 version arriving in 2026. A new trailer highlighted everything to expect in the immediate future. Also, the teaser only confirmed what we've known since September 2025, which is the game will leave early access next year.
Three types of cosmetic options are confirmed for the December 2025 update. The standard one lets you basically paint your bases. Pocketpair didn't confirm all of the elements that can be recolored, but we do see walls being painted. As for the other two, they will be two avatar skins based on Ultrakill. V1 and V2 suits will appear. The first footage shows the two suits from different angles and some of the unique elements tied to them.
Here's the Palworld Home Sweet Home update trailer that also focused on the Ultrakill cosmetics. The teaser for the 2026 1.0 update started at the 55 second mark. The end seems to show a trainer with some Pals approaching a new area.
Palworld is in early access for the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, its Home Sweet Home update debuts on December 17, 2025, and the 1.0 version launches in 2026.

Solo Leveling Arise Overdrive is now out on PC and consoles, and there are plenty of Hunters to access on your adventures.
While Overdrive doesn't have the typical gacha, there are different hunters to recruit to fight along with you. This guide will give you brief information about all the Hunters, along with how to recruit them.
Disclaimer: This guide is a work in progress. The exact unlock methods for all Hunters will be added as soon as we figure it out.
Table of contents
All Hunters in Solo Leveling Arise Overdrive
You begin playing as Sung Jinwoo, the main protagonist. You'll be able to apply different builds and explore various skill trees. However, you'll be using other characters to help you fight against the enemies. The table below has information about every Hunter in Solo Leveling Arise Overdrive.
How to unlock more Heroes in Solo Leveling Arise Overdrive
Lee Joohee and Song Chiyul are the two easiest Hunters to unlock. Once you complete the introductory missions and unlock the Hunter's Guild, you'll be able to add the duo to your team. They will be the first team members you'll use in Solo Leveling Arise Overdrive.
For unlocking the rest, you'll need to recruit them from the Hunter's Guild. There's no gacha, so you'll have to speak with Lim Hajim to recruit additional Hunters. You'll also have to complete Chapter 3 before getting this feature unlocked.
I will add the additional instructions once I have explored and cleared more in-game content. Thankfully, there are no banners to open, and you can work your way to unlock all the characters.

Fortnite's new season and chapter begin this weekend, and a new edition of the music mode Fortnite Festival along with it. And it's gotten a tremendous headliner for players to invest in.
The reactions to the announcement of LISA being this season's headliner have been across the spectrum. For every excited fan in the know there's been another person who genuinely wasn't aware of who she was, and then sadly some others who like to wear their sexism or xenophobia proudly.
I wasn't fully aware of who LISA was either, before this year. I knew of her vaguely. And then the social media algorithm put her front and center and put me in an absolute chokehold that's sent me on a wild new adventure when it comes to fandom and music enjoyment.
If it wasn't clips of her Hot Ones interview or her song with Doja Cat and Raye, it was her acting debut on HBO. LISA was everywhere. And so, finally, I gave in. I saw that her group Blackpink was coming to my area at the end of July and so I started listening to her and the group's music. I took my girlfriend to the show that summer, and was absolutely blown away by her and the group, and I've been hooked ever since.
Over the past five or so months, I have become a LISA fan (we're called Lilies) and Blackpink fan (we're called Blinks), and so when I saw the Fortnite announcement this weekend, I just about screamed. But then I saw the negativity surrounding the news (wholly unsurprising), and it annoyed me. Within the noise, though, there were many people who genuinely and earnestly were not in the know about who she is or why she is so relevant.
That's why I'm here today, to give a quick crash course on who LISA is and why she's a perfect pick for Fortnite Festival.
Who is LISA? Fortnite Festival headliner
To put it simply, the Thailand-born LISA is one of the most influential celebrities in the entire world in 2025. She is one of the members of the most popular K-pop girl group in the world, Blackpink, and a solo musician as well. Even if you haven't heard of LISA, you've likely heard of Blackpink.
Since debuting in 2016, Blackpink has grown massively in popularity and global superstardom. They are the most-streamed female group on Spotify, and most-viewed music group channel on YouTube where the foursome has over 99 million subscribers. As a group and individual acts they have won many awards and accolades, and are some of the most successful musicians in the world in recent years.
Over the past year or so, LISA has begun to branch out into a solo career, as have her groupmates Rosé (of three-time Grammy-nominated song "APT" fame with Bruno Mars), Jennie, and Jisoo. Now at 28 years old, LISA is ready to supplement her Blackpink success with a solo endeavor that's just getting started.
She launched her first solo album, Alter Ego, in February, and a new Blackpink song "JUMP" in July. The group has been selling out stadiums on its DEADLINE world tour since July, across North America, Europe, and Asia (all four girls play some of their solo songs as part of the setlists). And now, she's bringing her talents and influence to Fortnite Festival.
Boasting over 140 million followers on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube combined, when LISA posts about something, people are guaranteed to pay attention. It's reported that with her following, LISA earns upwards of $1.6 million per post on IG, and around $750,000 per IG story, because she just has that big of an influence on those who follow her. Her audience is massive.
You know that whole Labubu craze that's taken hold over the past year or so? A lot of the hype and popularity can be traced back to LISA who was an early adopter of the funny-looking POP MART dolls. She even dressed up as a Labubu for one of Blackpink's London concerts this summer.
A few months ago, LISA posted a photo of a matcha drink from a chain called Heytea, and demand for the beverage skyrocketed. The chain even crafted a special drink in her honor. Whatever she does or posts about online is influential and carries a lot of weight and consumer potential.
Epic Games knows this. LISA's Fortnite Festival pass and store bundles will sell very well, because she is one of the most marketable and lucrative names and faces in all of music and entertainment right now, whether you knew her before today or not.
LISA's reach previously stemmed from mostly Asia, as the Thailand-born rapper/singer/dancer debuted with Blackpink in South Korea. But since then, she and the group have gone global, and she's not just restricting herself to music either. Earlier this year, she made her acting debut in season three of The White Lotus on HBO, and I and many others felt enamored with her in every scene she appeared in.
LISA is soon to be a worldwide household name with how hard she's worked and how big she has become, and she's not stopping any time soon. She recently signed with WME for acting representation and Wasserman Music for solo touring representation. She's been connected to numerous future acting projects, including a potential new Netflix film. She's been named the official ambassador for the Tourism Authority of Thailand. She still has Blackpink DEADLINE tour dates on the calendar.
And now she's in Fortnite, which may be the biggest fame indicator there is. This weekend, she'll join the Fortnite Festival headliner ranks of such superstars as Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, Bruno Mars, The Weeknd, Sabrina Carpenter, Snoop Dogg, Karol G, Metallica, Hatsune Miku, and Gorillaz as the only acts to take center stage in the mode. That's good company, and she more than deserves it.
Whether you like her inclusion in the game or not is irrelevant. She's coming for the crown in all forms of entertainment, and I and other Lilies will be cheering her on along the way.
The post If you don't know who Fortnite Festival's LISA is, you're not alone. But soon, the entire world will be aware appeared first on Destructoid.

Minecraft has reigned supreme over a niche genre that it essentially made. It drew the lines in its own sand and stayed there for over a decade, with no one being the wiser. But now, with a game rising from the ashes like a phoenix, Minecraft could finally get some real competition.
Enter: Hytale, the game Riot Games purchased, killed, and then sold back to its original owners. It has gone through a decade of ups and downs, five years at Riot Games, and is now in the hands of those who initially created it. And in this entire decade, it's never been closer to release than it is now, or so says Simon Collins-Laflamme, the creator of Hypixel and Hytale, who is now leading development.
From videos released by Hypixel over the past few days, we can determine that Hytale is not fooling around. It has significantly expanded combat, movement, and mechanics over Minecraft, and appears to be an overall upgraded and modernized version of Notch's masterpiece. And that tracks with Hytale itself evolving out of Minecraft, first as the wildly popular Hypixel server, and now as a standalone game.
Though many thought the game would never see the light of day after entering a state of limbo while handled by Riot Games, Hytale now has a real chance to shake up the foundations laid by Minecraft for, well, itself. It has been the sole game in this niche voxel-based survival crafting genre and, while there have been notable attempts at taking over some of its market share, it's remained a dominant force in gaming for well over a decade.
A prominent example is A Vintage Story, which takes liberal inspiration from Minecraft, but makes the game much more challenging and focused on the survival aspect, complicating everything that was streamlined in the latter. Of course, this adds loads of depth and mechanical intricacy to the game, but it does largely alienate a more casual, laid-back, and, most importantly, young audience.
With over 230 million copies sold across basically every imaginable platform, Minecraft is also the best-selling game of all time, which is a title hardly any game will be able to beat.
But Hytale stands to shift the tides.
Naturally, I do not expect (nor should anyone, really) that Hytale will dethrone Minecraft. The latter has become somewhat of a cultural cornerstone in gaming and a title on which many of us have been brought up. Everyone and their dad had a squad of friends way back when making a new survival server, playing until they got bored, and leaving the game for a year before repeating the process. It's a shrine, a temple we all go back to every once in a while to reminisce about the good old days.
But what Hytale can do is provide an alternative. A better, more complex, more detailed, and more, well, fun experience that takes what Minecraft has done and ups the ante in every imaginable way.
By inviting the community to pitch ideas and help develop them, Hypixel is also involving the players on a scale never seen in Minecraft, and the low $19.99 price, alongside no charges for servers for at least two years, will substantially expand the community side of things and speed up Hytale's establishment as the go-to co-op survival crafting game.
This is an uphill battle, and it remains to be seen how Hytale will go about it. What I'm sure of is that, based on just how popular the game already is without even being released, the market, and this niche Minecraft-adjacent genre, are in for an earthquake.
And, as always, that can only lead to good things for the player. More competition means more development, innovation, and progress, and God knows Minecraft needs all of that.

Call of Duty: Warzone is back with Black Ops 7 integration in season one, including BO7's weapons and operators.
There's no new battle royale map for season one of BO7, but the Haven's Hollow map for Resurgence is calling players to return and play in the respawn mode while ranking up the new guns and unlocking all of the BO7 changes.
Here's everything coming in season one of BO7 for Warzone players.
Table of contents
Warzone BO7 season 1 patch notes
BO7 season one is admittedly quite light for Warzone, with the bulk of expected content coming next year with the return of the Blackout limited-time mode and potentially a new BR map. For now, it's all about bringing BO7 guns into the free-to-play experience.
Black Ops 7 weapons and more
BO7's weapons and operators join Warzone, which is getting a soft reset for season one, including player levels. Players who don't own BO7 will need to rank up and unlock all of the guns from the game. This includes the new season one guns. Perks are also being changed up and rebalanced.
Old weapons from MWII, MWIII, and Black Ops 6 are still accessible.
New Resurgence map
With Verdansk sticking around as the main battle royale map, BO7 season one's new Warzone experience is Haven's Hollow for the respawn-enabled Resurgence mode. It's based loosely around the Liberty Falls Zombies map from Black Ops 6.
New Verdansk POIs
Signal Station in the north and Factory east of Superstore are being added as new points of interest to drop into on Verdansk, Warzone's battle royale map.
New modes and playlists
Season one's modes include only the casual variants of Resurgence and Battle Royale will be available at launch, with more modes coming throughout the season. Expect CODMAS to make things holly and jolly soon.
This article will be updated with more info as it becomes available.

Season 3 is coming soon to FC 26 Ultimate Team, offering us a fresh track of rewards to grind for.
With Season 2 about to end, Season 3 should continue along a similar theme. Much of it will revolve around what we can obtain from the milestone rewards. But to do so, we will have to wait until the season goes live.
FC 26 Season 3 release countdown: Exact date and time
Season 3 will start immediately upon the prior season's conclusion. It will go live globally on Thursday, Nov. 27, across all platforms. The following countdown will expire as the season goes live.
The countdown is based on the following times.
Once the new season goes live, you'll need to restart FC 26 on your PC/console. Log in to Ultimate Team, and you'll be able to see the fresh objectives, rewards, and more.
FC 26 Season 3 Pass rewards
As of writing, we have yet to find information about the exact rewards. However, we can anticipate based on the previous two seasons. All rewards should be available in the Season Pass, which will come in two versions. You can enjoy the free version available to all, or spend your coins/FC points to get the premium version (which offers more rewards).
It will be interesting to see which cards and rewards we get with the season pass. With the Thunderstruck promo coming soon, the new pass could feature cards from that campaign. There's always a chance a few leaks will pop up before the season goes live.
To earn rewards, we will need to get SP by completing objectives released throughout the new season. We will add all the pass rewards to this guide once we have the confirmed information on Nov. 27.

Matchday 1 of FC Pro Open in FC 26 has introduced this year's first Mystery Nation objective, and you can complete the task to win bonus rewards.
If you've completed Mystery Nation objectives over the last few years, you'll know what to expect. This guide will help clear all your confusion and help you keep track of the correct nation once it's revealed.
Disclaimer: Mystery nation has been solved ahead of the official reveal, and it is Scotland.
How to complete Pro Open Mystery Nation (Matchday 1) objective in FC 26
Here's the official description of the Mystery Nation Matchday 1 objective.
To complete the task, you'll first have to crack the mystery nation. The nation will eventually be revealed on the livestream, but the community has already cracked it. The next task is to use any card belonging to that nation and score three goals with a Finesse Shot. You can complete the objective in any Ultimate Team mode and across several matches.
Once done, you'll get the following rewards.
It's a pretty decent set of rewards to get for little effort. The main trick was to crack the hidden nation. As this is the first Mystery Nation objective in FC 26 Ultimate Team, it could have been any nation. The country is likely to be officially revealed during the Matchday 1 stream, but we have already updated it on our guide. You can catch all the action on YouTube and Twitch, and there are some fantastic fixtures to kick off FC Pro Open this year.

Just under two weeks since it launched, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 just released the roadmap for its season one update that's launching very soon.
Season one of BO7 adds the customary battle pass with weapons, blueprints, and other cosmetics, but the bulk of the update is found in seven new multiplayer maps, seven weapons, three Zombies maps, and other updates for different modes like Endgame and Warzone.
Black Ops 7 season 1 roadmap
The roadmap revealed today is indeed huge. Season one will add nine new game modes in multiplayer, along with the weapons and maps, but that's just a part of the game. Zombies' new map has a new Wonder Weapon, new enemy type, new Perk, new GobbleGums, and more on top of Directed Mode for Ashes of the Damned.
Lest we forget Warzone, the free-to-play battle royale mode, which will be infused with BO7's weapons and content, along with the new Haven's Hollow Resurgence map, new POIs on Verdansk, and several different modes and equipment to boot.
New weapons across BO7 and Warzone include the Maddox RFB assault rifle and KDGDT-7 SMG as part of the battle pass. But the Ballistic Knife, Sokol 545 LMG, Sturmwolf 45 SMG, MX Ravager crossbow, and Hawker HX sniper rifle will also be added in drops throughout the season.
Weekly Challenges will also come throughout the seasonal drops, giving players a reason to return each week to unlock new items and play through limited-time events, such as several seasonal drops to match the holidays in December.
BO7 season one launches next week on Dec. 4 and will add content throughout the next two months before season two likely comes in February.

As you embark on a journey through Wishblossom Ranch, you'll encounter quite a few horses and mounts in Disney Dreamlight Valley. These adorable and helpful creatures can be unlocked as allies to help you get around and tackle key tasks more quickly.
Most horses and mounts aren't available right away and require you to tackle certain tasks or meet specific conditions, so you may need some help figuring out what needs to be done to get them. Here's how to unlock all horses and mounts in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Table of contents
All horses and mounts in Disney Dreamlight Valley
There are five unique mounts you can unlock in DDV. The vast majority of them are tied to progressing through the main Wishblossom Ranch storyline and are unlocked naturally as you go. Some require you to tackle different tasks, though, so here's a full breakdown of how to get all mounts.
How to unlock all customizable horses in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Your first ever mount is a customizable horse, which is granted shortly after you arrive in Wishblossom Ranch during the A Wishful Invitation quest. You can unlock three extra horses to customize by tackling additional quests with Snow White after this, all of which start with the phrase "Hold Your Horses" and task you with crafting unique Stable Repair Kits.
These quests unlock gradually over time as you explore Wishblossom Ranch, unlock new areas, and progress through the main storyline. All of the quests you need to complete to unlock the full stable for a total of four custom horses are as follows.
How to unlock Maximus in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Maximus is freed from the Wishblossom of Hope and unlocked as a mount during the Crystal Cavern: Wishing Alps quest. He's unlocked at the very end of this mission, so you'll need to work through almost the full quest before you meet him.
This is the first main trial you'll face in Wishblossom Ranch, but before you get to this point, you'll first need to tackle A Wishful Invitation, Tales of a Broken Heart, unlocking Snow White, Ghost Town, and Wheel Big Trouble.
How to unlock Khan in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Khan is trapped with the Wishblossom of Ambition and must be freed during the Crystal Caverns: Glamour Gulch quest. Before you can acquire this mission, you need to tackle The Decay of Fashion quest, The De Vil Crash quest, and The Skunk Rebellion quest to unlock Cruella.
Once all of these prerequisites are met, you'll unlock the Crystal Caverns: Glamour Gulch quest to work on. You'll find Khan near the very end of this mission after you break all three crystals around the cavern and chat with the Wishblossom of Ambition. You need his help to get out at the end.
How to unlock Pegasus in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Pegasus is the third storyline mount you can get, and is unlocked after you reach the Pixie Acres region and complete the Crystal Cavern: Pixie Acres quest. You need to work through Tigger's missions, including Bounce Up, Never Down, The Balloon Family, and Fun! Fun! Fun! before you can access this mission. You'll need to unlock Tigger, too.
The process for acquiring Pegasus is similar to Maximus and Khan, so you must work through the full trial in the Crystal Cavern quest to unlock him. You need him to tackle the final mission in the main storyline, which is The Decay.
How to unlock Sven in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Sven is a Deluxe Edition exclusive, which means you must purchase this special version of the Wishblossom Ranch expansion to unlock him. He also comes with four special rewards and a unique Dream Style, so if you're a fan of this iconic reindeer, this edition is certainly worth getting. So far, he's the only mount that isn't a horse, making him quite special.
To actually unlock him, you need to progress your relationship with Kristoff and work your way through the Wishblossom Ranch storyline until you receive the Reindeer Are Better Than People quest, which happens as soon as you complete the Crystal Cavern: Wishing Alps quest. It's given to you by Kristoff since Sven is his loyal reindeer friend.
This quest is a very short one that simply requires you to get to know Sven better. You just need to feed him, ride him around a bit, and jump over a few obstacles while also checking in with Kristoff occasionally to get it done. As soon as you do, Sven is unlocked as a mount you can call upon whenever you like.

Swing a pickaxe in a dark cave, and you're likely to hit seven survival crafting games that all look and play similar. Probably a couple of roguelites too, in 2025, but that's not what this article is about now, is it?
I freaking love survival crafting games with strong building elements. Minecraft started it for me, and since then, I've played a slew of these types of titles, everything from Ark Survival Evolved to My Time at Portia (okay, that last one is minus the survival, I guess).
But since Valheim, there have been many titles that just feel and play too similarly. I especially have gripes about Palworld and Runescape Dragonwilds being the same game with different systems. At least Palworld kept me busy for a while, but I really didn't enjoy Dragonwilds.
I somehow missed out on Enshrouded, but it has been on my list. Every time I get the itch to play something survival-crafty, I look at a few gameplay videos, decide it's the same damn thing as all the others—same gameplay and grind—and just go back to something familiar.
But with friends like mine, it was only a matter of time before the nagging wore me down and I spent a few bucks on the game. It's really not that expensive, so I'll check it out for a few hours, confirm that I just don't like it, and I'll have my money's worth.
Well, things didn't quite go to plan.
Enshrouded is exactly like the other survival games, except it isn't
Alright, it's been a few weeks and now I somehow have 60 hours in this game I don't like. What the hell happened?
It started like everything, with the beginning. I walked out of that flame cave or whatever, jumped down and activated my glider, and fell to my death. Great start. I hate it already.
After I actually built a glider and hook, I got to building my first little house, which I have since deleted. Thank goodness, or you'd have expected a screenshot. It was an absolute eyesore, all made out of rough wood blocks. But anyway, here's where I was reminded of the fact that Enshrouded was exactly like all the other similar games.
Chop wood, make blocks, repeat to infinity while slowly dying inside because why are you doing the same damn thing again that you were doing in a different game yesterday? At least you had more stuff unlocked in that other game and could build better... wait, I can place individual blocks??
Better to focus on that later, when I have more resources to burn. For now, I went into the shroud for the first time. And what an interesting mechanic that is!
I never played Subnautica, but I imagine it's a similar system (see, nothing new here). Heck, it's the same concept as Dave the Diver, too. However, it was my first foray with something quite like this. It's pretty intense and always stressful going into the Shroud, having limited visibility, and trying your best not to let the timer run out on you. But man, is it fun.
After every raid, I could come back up to my horribly ugly house and relax for a bit, maybe adding some stuff to the house to make it even uglier. And this ebb and flow seemed... different. Not to mention the building system is the best I've seen in a game, ever.
Welcome to the Enshrouded

There are many unique and important resources you need to find around Wishblossom Ranch in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Honey Coral is one of the most essential ones, as certain critters love it and it is also used in key cooking recipes.
Wishblossom Ranch is a large island with plenty of unique areas to explore. This makes tracking down specific resources rather tough, as you're generally not told anything about where to look for them. If you're having issues finding this item, here's how to get Honey Coral in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Table of contents
Where to find Honey Coral in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Honey Coral is classified as a fish that can be caught out of white ripple spots throughout Pixie Acres in DDV. It's a rather tricky item to discover, as you likely wouldn't expect it to fall under the fishing category. It looks and sounds like an item you might forage for on land instead, but it's actually exclusively obtained through fishing.
Other fish can appear in white bubble spots, too, so even when you're fishing in the right area, it might take a bit to find Honey Coral. How easy or difficult it is to find this resource is based entirely on luck, as you might find some on your first try or take several tries to get any.
Honey Coral locations in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Honey Coral can be found in all fishable water spots throughout the vast Pixie Acres biome. This includes water in Sundae Shores, Pixie Flats, Hundred-Acre Fields, and Hunny Falls.
The oozing honey hill in Hunny Falls is also a fishable spot, even though it looks like you're fishing out of honey instead of water. Essentially, anywhere you can cast your Royal Fishing Rod throughout this region has a chance of catching you some Honey Coral as long as you're fishing from a white ripple spot.
Before you start fishing for Honey Coral, invite a character who specializes in fishing to hang out with you. Having a fishing friend at your side means you will occasionally find bonus goodies while fishing. This bonus will sometimes apply to Honey Coral when you catch it, making it much easier to stock up on quickly.
There are plenty of other obscure resources you need to find around Wishblossom Ranch to tackle quests like Handle With Care, Home Is Where the Heart Is, and Fun! Fun! Fun!. Next, you might want to learn where to find Old Braided Rope and Pyrite.
