Did any of you see the TV show Dead Like Me? George Lass died when a toilet seat from a space station fell on her and, by luck of the draw, ends up being a grim reaper who takes the souls of the living until she meets her quota and can move on. Love Bullet, a fantastic new manga localization from Yen Press feels a bit like that, only involving cupids, love, and a splash of yuri. It's absolutely fantastic, and reading through it made me feel a bit like Yen Press saved what might be one of the best new-to-us series to close out 2025. The premise is just fantastic.
Editor's Note: There will be some minor spoilers for the first volume of the Love Bullet manga below.
The lore for Love Bullet is fascinating, and inee does so much in such a short period of time. Koharu Sakurada was in high school when she died. She was known for helping people find love and get together, as she was so good at analyzing and understanding folks. However, she wasn't as good about prioritizing herself and never noticed her best friend Aki Tamaki was in love with her. The day Aki confessed is also the day a terrible construction accident claimed Koharu's life. She pushed Aki out of the way, but ended up impaled by debris as a result. She "wakes up" five years later with her new mentor Kanna explaining that she is a Cupid now. If she gathers enough karma by helping people find love and relationships, then the goddess of love will revive her and grant her a new human life.
From there, Love Bullet helps explain the written and unwritten roles of being a Cupid in clever ways through the narrative. For example, the volume begins after Koharu already went through some introductory missions. We see her with some fellow Cupids, like her mentor Kanna, rival Chiyo, and fellow "agent" Ena. They're trying to work out which pair in a love triangle would work best, but they're split between the two evenly and can't decide. So, they gunfight it out amongst themselves. So we learn how they handle tricky situations and see if a Cupid is hit by one of their own bullets, they are basically super jealous of the living and love for about 10 minutes. We also get to see Koharu make a match for the first time in front of us as the reader, establishing her innate abilities and observation skills.
From there, we watch a flashback to how Koharu became a Cupid. With this decision, Inee gets to establish her past relationship with Aki and show an origin for this type of entity. It allows us to "ride along" and learn about things through the eyes of another newcomer. This is how we learn about the karma system and the ability of those who are Cupids to get a second chance. It also means we get to see how Cupids might not necessarily be friendly and might try and snipe others' possible assignments in the name of earning more karma, like Chiyo does. It also shows that a Cupid can temporarily take on a human form to help with their tasks.
And throughout it all, the localization of Love Bullet also seems fantastic. Masaaki Fukushima does a great job of capturing the characterizations and ensuring every Cupid's lines conveys their personalities. The honorifics use is also quite helpful, especially given the situations we're seeing everyone in during these initial stories. It all just reads so perfectly.
Love Bullet feels like a really special manga series, with Inee doing a fantastic job of crafting a world and characters. It feels like a blend of action, slice-of-life, and romance that includes peeks at all different types of relationships. (At least, in the first volume!) There's so much potential here, and Yen Press saving it for December 2025 feels a little like a reward for making it through the year.
Volume 1 of the Love Bullet manga is available now via Yen Press, and there's no release widnow for the second volume of the manga yet.

Winter Wildcards Team 2 is coming soon to FC 26 Ultimate Team, and it's rumoured to feature some outstanding cards for you to find.
Team 2 will be a part of the Christmas festivities and usher in a new season. So far, EA Sports has remained tight-lipped about what cards we will be able to find. However, social media rumors have already potentially leaked the whole team of items.
Table of contents
All FC 26 Winter Wildcards Team 2 players (leaks)
Here's the complete list of all leaked cards that are rumored to be part of Team 2.
All the leaked cards mentioned here will be present in packs. We should be able to find more items as part of SBCs and objectives when Team 2 goes live. Unlike cards available in packs, finding SBC and objective-based cards doesn't have an element of luck.
FC 26 Winter Wildcards Team 2 release countdown
Team 2 will release globally on Thursday, Dec. 25. For a whole day, you'll be able to find both Team 1 and Team 2 cards in packs. The following countdown will expire once the new team goes live.
The countdown is based on the following timings.
This is the same schedule that EA Sports typically follows for all promos. It will be interesting to find out how many of these leaks finally make it to the packs. If the leaks turn out to be true, the non-baby version of Zico and Miyama will be high on the wishlist of many players.

The Arat Prime map in ARK Survival Ascended is a pretty unique addition as part of the Lost Colony DLC, and you can find a few significant positions for building your base.
Arat Prime is a massive map, consisting of different biomes, creatures, and more. You can build a base on any position that you want, but a few spots will always be better than the rest. If you're ready to build the perfect base, this guide will help you out.
Disclaimer: There's no so-called 'best' spot. This guide includes options that have different strategic advantages that will make your survival easier.
Table of contents
Best base locations in ARK Survival Ascended's Arat Prime map
So far, I have managed to explore almost every area of the map. Here are my five best recommendations.
Hot Springs
The Hot Springs were revealed to us in Lost Colony's trailer, and it's a fantastic place if you hate the snow. The lake is gorgeous to look at, and the surrounding areas have plenty of resources. You'll also encounter plenty of creatures (ideal if you're looking to tame multiple ones). This location is loaded with resources, creatures, and there's no worry of freezing from the snow.
Snow Cave
Polarisingly opposed to Hot Springs, the Snow Cave is a winter lover's paradise. It's one of the few caves that's big enough to become a base. You won't find any hostile creatures at the location, and the entry and exit routes are a single path. This also makes it easier to build your defense. Make sure to take care of the lowering temperatures.
Glowing Gem Cave
Another cave that's big enough to build a base, the Glowing Gem Cave is a rather peculiar location. The glowing gems make the area look pretty bizarre, but I love it. The area rarely goes dark, has plenty of resources, and doesn't have any wild creatures to worry about.
Gothic Viewpoint
If you don't care about hardships and just want vibes, nothing gets cooler than building a base on the Gothic Viewpoint. The top of the mountain area provides some stunning views, and you also get a pre-built base. This slightly makes it easier for you to expand your dominion.
Lakeside
If you're an absolute beginner and want something safe, Lakeside is the best spot to pick. There are two small islands with both offering plenty of resources, along with wildlife. The wildlife at this location is reasonably safe, so the chances of you dying are lower.
While these five are my favorites, here are two honorable mentions (if you're unsatisfied with them).
Ultimately, the decision depends on you and what kind of experience you're looking for. You can also choose based on a new creature that you might want to tame, and Lost Colony has plenty of unique ones to find and capture across the Arat Prime map.

The Winter Wildcards Challenge 2 SBC is brilliant content to complete in FC 26 Ultimate Team if you're aiming to try your luck at getting a promo item.
As always, you can use lower-rated cards from your club to complete the challenge. Doing so will allow you to get a free pack that could contain a Winter Wildcards/walkout card.

FC 26 Winter Wildcards Challenge 2 SBC task
The Winter Wildcards Challenge 2 SBC has only one task. Here are its requirements.
Winter Wildcards Challenge 2 SBC
The requirements are relatively simple, as you'll need to pay attention to the squad chemistry requirements. However, 22 isn't too strict and leaves you with ample room for experimentation.
Winter Wildcards Challenge 2 SBC solutions
Since the chemistry requirement isn't too taxing, you can use cards you like. I have still added a solution for you to use if you get stuck.
Completing this challenge will get you a Premium Electrum Players Pack for your efforts. This tradeable pack includes six Silver and six Gold player items, with any three of them being Rare. While the pack rewards could be better, the SBC can be completed for almost free of cost.
Additionally, all cards that you get can be sold for extra coins in Ultimate Team, which is always a nice bonus to have.

ARC Raiders is a huge game, one where fighting big robots is just as important as watching your back for other players.
It's a dog-eat-dog world, or rather a dog-eat-robot-eat-dog... You get the point. It's a ruthless, unrelenting, and dangerous world out there on the top, and bringing the right equipment with you is of the utmost importance.
We've already made one weapon tier list before, but there I regarded ARCs as the ultimate foe, therefore giving the guns' efficacies against the robots more value than I maybe should have.
This list is purely for PVP purposes, as I have selected five weapons that I would almost always take with me (or have on my squad) if I were to hunt players, specifically.
The Best Guns for PVP in ARC Raiders
In PVP, you'll be in one of two situations: up close or far away. Mid-range does not count here, as weapons that correspond to both categories are equally useful, though I'd give more credit to the close-range ones in that use case myself. Therefore, the weapons on this list are great both for fighting folks that are nearby, and taking them out from a safe distance.
Here is our list.
Kettle
The Kettle is a gun I did not initially like a lot, nor did I consider it very useful. It's packed with small ammo, meaning it has next to no armor penetration (necessary for fighting ARCs) and does not carry that many bullets in its magazine.
However, after playing the game a lot, I have come to appreciate the gun far more, both when it comes to taking ARCs down and when fighting other players. It's not a weapon you'd ever take in a Queen raid, but it will help you knock a Hornet out of the sky and, most importantly, ensure you are never under-equipped for a PVP encounter.
It shoots blazingly fast, packs a punch against human enemies, and is generally super stable and easy to aim with, allowing you to track moving targets with relative ease. Even though it does not have the greatest range, but it will still be effective at medium distance, opening up any target in your relative vicinity to heavy damage.
When upgraded with attachments and magazine expansions, the gun only gets better and is more or less a must-carry for any PVP-minded raider.
Ferro
Ferro is one of the earliest marksman rifles you get in ARC Raiders, and it's definitely one of the best. It's an iron-sighted rifle, meaning there's no fancy scope to help your aim, but it nevertheless maintains a tremendous level of efficacy at range, not least because it carries heavy ammo.
While requiring frequent reloads and down times, Ferro is a cheap, affordable, and easily obtained long-range beast capable of breaking an entire medium armor in a single shot, making most enemies in the game merely two well-placed bullets away from death.
Use it to engage foes that are far away or at medium range, softening them up before you rush in with a more suitable close-range weapon, such as the Kettle or some of the handguns on this list.
Ferro, like Kettle, can also be upgraded, though the gains aren't as substantial as the latter.
Anvil
Handguns aren't so commonly seen topside, but damn if they aren't effective. The Anvil is a heavy-ammo-loaded handgun that packs a serious punch, not much unlike the Ferro, with the difference being that it has a somewhat worse range but significantly better rate of fire. It's the game's Desert Eagle, and in the right hands, it can be an actual beast.
Its downside is its long reload time, on account of its being a revolver, but it more than makes up for it with increased mobility, amazing close-range efficacy, and overall massive damage due to its ammo. I love this pistol so much, and I wholeheartedly recommend that you try it out at least once, both against ARCs and other players.
Venator
The Anvil's little brother, the Venator is a medium-ammo-loaded semi-automatic pistol that both dishes out a lot of damage and shoots rather quickly. Being a semi-auto gun, it more or less shoots as fast as you can click and does not suffer from loss of mobility, unlike the Anvil.
What it gains in terms of speed and versatility, it loses in range, as you will find it tremendously difficult to do any meaningful damage to a moving target at a distance. Players who are carrying better long-range guns will destroy you if you bring a Venator to the fight, but will suffer tremendously if you manage to sneak up close to them.
It's a great counterpart to a long-range, heavy-ammo gun, though I'd recommend you pick up a Kettle, since ARC Raiders allows two rifles to be carried at once, making the handguns rather obsolete for most playstyles.
Osprey
Osprey is a cheap and readily-available sniper rifle, scoped and ready for proper long-range play. It's my favorite long-range weapon in the game, up there with the Ferro, and is unbeatable when it comes to taking enemies down from a distance. Climbing the Launch Towers on Spaceport and sniping people across the entire map is an unforgettable experience, and something few other guns in the game can do.
However, it's rather slow and will be a huge detriment if enemies come up close to you. This, like the Ferro, is a great gun to soften people up before you close the range and put some other guns from this list to use. Or, on the other hand, it could be a gun you use whenever you do not want to approach at all, taking the enemy down before they even know what's happening.
Il Toro
Back when I made that first tier list, I was unnecessarily cruel to the shotguns. I still believe they're rather less efficient than they should be compared to other guns, but I've come to learn the beauty of Il Toro over the past couple of months. The sheer damage this gun can dish out is incredible, and few other weapons in the game can compare at close range.
I've even seen it do tremendously well against less-armored ARCs like Hornets, with a single well-placed shot blowing the entire thing up. With that in mind, you can guess what it does to players' armor and health bars. If you are more of a rusher than a dragger, then Il Toro might just be the ultimate perfect weapon for you.

ARC Raiders, as a PVPVE game, attracts loads of different players, both those who love engaging with robots and those who are more keen on human blood.
In such an environment, a lot has to be taken into account for the sake of matchmaking, as you'd want hardcore players to meet their kind more so than those of a casual demeanor.
But does ARC Raiders truly have an aggression-based matchmaking system, analyzing your behavior whenever you queue up? Here's everything we know.
ARC Raiders' aggression-based matchmaking, explained
Embark Studios has been generally unwilling to give out too much information regarding how it matches players, and does not even provide official numbers for how many players can connect to a single match at a time. This makes sense as it obscures the system, thereby reducing the odds of players manipulating it for their own gain.
However, ARC Raiders devs did recently comment that they do take your behavior into consideration for matchmaking, and third parties, too, have found this to be true. More casual players will be matched with other casuals more often than not, whereas aggressive trigger-happy folks (who are on the rise) will find themselves surrounded by like-minded individuals where no amount of "Don't Shoot!" pleas can help.
So, to answer the question: it's inconclusive, but Embark Studios does seem to analyze the whole of your behavior, including aggression and trigger-happiness, seeking to match you with players of a similar profile. Naturally, this will vary depending on whether you're solo, duo, or in trios, as it's likely party-based matchmaking works differently than solo queue.
In a party environment, I suspect the game calculates your overall, hidden "behavior score," and places you in a server that, overall, corresponds to your combined profile. This is theoretical, of course, as we do not have official information.
Other games like Dota 2 take a similar approach, albeit that game openly states what the behavior score of your party is.
