2025 had video games. 2026 will have video games. GTA 6 might be one of those video games. However, it's currently only pencilled in for console next year. Not that I considered writing about it in this sort of article two years running, just for a laugh. That'd be hackish and beneath the level I hold myself to. Well, by about three millimeters.

Drywall Eating Simulator Gets Frustrating

Life is frustrating, and Drywall Eating Simulator is an attempt to capture that while also being funny and driving you to gnawing through walls when your anger hits its peak. It's relatable! However, the unfortunate part is that this simulation does still feel like a work in progress. While patches did make things easier to deal with along the way, it's still a bit buggy.

Drywall Eating Simulator is about dealing with everything annoying about life. Dealing with an apartment complex where you're trapped inside, encountering annoying neighbors, and can't get out. The stress builds until you explore and encounter enough irritants that the Stress Buddy shows you're about to lose it. At this point, you'll see glowing red segments of walls. These can be eaten to make new paths and reduce stress.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-Nj3y8PQKo

So the first really frustrating thing about Drywall Eating Simulator is the speed of the camera. While moving forward and backward is fine, as is strafing, actually moving the camera felt shockingly sluggish and slow on a handheld gaming PC. This meant actually turning and exploring felt like a chore. This persisted even after the patches that fixed some softlock situations, which is annoying. I tried messing with the settings as well and didn't encounter the issue when playing on a laptop, so it must be tied to the Steam Deck sort of experience.

Also troublesome is the fact that sometimes Drywall Eating Simulator stages don't work well. The first and second levels are working reasonably well as of time of writing, with the recent patches up to this point making it possible to see which parts of walls are susceptible and the Questlog.txt tracker keeping accurate notes on what needs to be done. But I experienced issues with the mission list not updating and the fourth level still locked up on me.

But even when Drywall Eating Simulator is working well, the way in which you progress can get a bit irritating. That's because it's essentially an "explore everywhere and click on everyone" type of experience. There are times when the commentary from NPCs can be funny! The idea is hilarious. The situations are perfect examples of irritating moments of life. But actually getting to the progression points can be difficult in some stages. This felt most noticeable in the first stage, but it also happened to me in the fourth as well.

The idea behind Drywall Eating Simulator is amusing and captures the frustrations encountered at work or in society. Unfortunately, I feel like this is a game in need of another few patches. Some Steam Deck optimization would be great too. Peripheral Playbox did already release one patch on Steam and seems responsive, so this could be a situation where it's in a much better place in a few weeks.

Drywall Eating Simulator is available for PCs.

the forge race tier list and guide

Updated on December 26, 2025: Added the three new races Vampire, Felynx and Archangel from the Island 3 update and re-ranked the tier list. Also added a new method to get Race Rerolls.

The best Race in The Forge Roblox depends on what you need for your build whether it's more damage or progression boosters. In general, the higher rarity races are better but there are some exceptions. That's why this The Forge race tier list will guide you through the best ones.

The Forge Best Race Ranked

the forge race tier list and guide

In general, the best Race in The Forge is the Angel & Archangel for late-game due to the massive Luck bonus or the Demon/Archangel for PVE fights which are the two highest DPS races. If you want to focus on progression boosters then the Goblin offers Pickaxe discounts and Dwarf mining speed. Otherwise, follow this tier list where S-Tier are objectively the best, A-Tier are great alternatives and B-Tier are decent for beginners. C-Tier is underpowered but usable and never use D-Tier. I'll explain the rankings for all races individually below.

Rarity/Color:

  • Common (Starting or 25%)
  • Uncommon (13.75% to 14%)
  • Rare (8% to 10.4%)
  • Epic (4% to 5%)
  • Legendary (1.25% to 1.75%)
  • Mythical (0.5%)
  • Relic (0.1%)

Race & Rune Combos: Below you can read about individual races and the Best Runes in The Forge to combo them with.

Specific Use Races

Specific Use Races When to Use Them Race Abilities

Goblin
Rare
• The Goblin Race is specifically good for one thing and one thing only, when you want to buy a new Pickaxe or new farm materials like Potions
• They give you a hefty discount that can save you a chunk of cash and then you can switch back to a better race
• Don't use Goblin outside of buying new Pickaxes
• Amazing for buying Demonite, base Island 3 Pickaxes and Prismatic Pickaxe
• But overall good for any purchase
Tiny: -15% Health, -15% Size.
Sneaky: +15% Movement Speed, +10% Attack Speed with daggers.
Bargain: 12% discount when shopping.

Dwarf
Epic
• Dwarf is the best farming race that you can combine with a lot of Miner Shards for farming ore
• You should reroll the race when you're farming enemies or going for bosses though
Heavy Short: -20% Height, -5% Movement Speed.
Gifted Miner: +15% Mining Damage, +5% Better Forge.

Critical Mining: 20% chance to deal +50% damage to rocks.

S-Tier Races

S-Tier Races Why S-Tier Race Abilities

Archangel
Relic
• The best of both worlds from Angel and Demon
• High PVE damage for progression and farming
• Also high Luck for late-game
• Objectively the best race in the game if you can get it
Wings:
-35% Dash Cooldown
+75% Dash Distance
+15% Longer Dash IFrames
+25% Movement Speed
+25% Jump Boost
+25% Stamina

Demonic Powers:
+20% Attack Speed
+20% Physical Damage
+30% Height
+10% Width and Depth

Might Clover: +30% Luck Boost

Dash: When you dash, there is a 50% chance to create a hellfire circle dealing 45% of your Weapon Damage per second to enemies inside of it for 3 seconds.

Archangel's Smite: Attacks have a 33% chance to summon a beam of light.

Angel
Mythical
• Angel is the best defensive race in the game focused around buffing dashes
• They make it so you do them more often and they have a longer invulnerability window while boosting Stamina
• The luck boost is great for farming and you can get a little DPS boost with Smite but it's not as high as the Demon's damage boost
Wings:
-20% Dash Cooldown
+50% Dash Distance
+15% Longer Dash IFrame
+20% Movement Speed
+25% Jump Boost
+20% Stamina.

Mighty Clover: +30% Luck Boost

Smite: 50% chance to call upon Smite on-hit for 30% of physical damage.

Holy Hand: Have infinite stamina while below 20% health.

Demon
Mythical
• Demon is the best DPS race in the game focused on dealing high physical and fire damage
• Demon's scale with weapon damage thanks to their passives and Devil's Finger + Cursed Aura
•  They also boost your Fire damage so the best rune is Flaming Spark
• The flame damage buff also buffs your Backfire
• Overall this is the best race if you want to deal the most damage
Demonic Powers:
+20% Movement Speed
+20% Attack Speed
+20% Physical Damage
+20% Stronger Fire Damage
30% Height
+10% Width & Depth

Backfire: 25% chance to burn the enemy when damage is taken.

Cursed Aura: While in combat have a small area around you that deals 10% damage of your weapon per second.

Devil's Finger: When you dash, teleport with hellfire particles and have 20% chance to create a hellfire circle dealing 45% of your weapon damage per second for 3 seconds to enemies inside.

A-Tier Races

A-Tier Races Why A-Tier Race Abilities

Golem
Legendary
• Golem is an alternative to Angel and Felynx for the best defensive races in the game but instead of tanking with dashes, Golem tanks with HP
• You'll get both a higher HP pool and every second attack will do 25% less damage
• This is best combined with Runes like Drain Edge and Chill Dust to keep your HP high and lower enemy attack speed
Tank:
+30% Health
-10% Movement Speed
+30% Size.

Heavy Hitter: +15% Attack Speed with heavy weapons.

Stone Heart: 50% chance to lower incoming damage by 25%.

Felynx
Legendary
• Excellent mix of offense and defense for PVE farming and bosses
• Combines the dash boosts from Angel and the %chance to reduce damage on-hit from Golem
• Also has more damage than Golem if you use Gauntlets
• If you dodge well this is a better race than Golem
Lightfooted:
+20% Stamina Boost
+20% Movement Speed
-20% Dash Cooldown
+20% Dash Distance

Cat Reflexes: 20% Chance to parry an incoming attack

Clawed Grip: +20% Attack Speed and Damage with Gauntlets

Dragonborn
Legendary
• Dragonborn is an offensive and defensive mix pulling more on the DPS side
• You get a free physical damage boost and the Dragon's Breath is more free DPS most of the time
• The cool thing is that you don't have to pay anything like the Shadow pays HP
Durable Scales: +20% Max HP and +10% Height.
Sharp Fangs: +12% Physical Damage.

Dragon's Breath: 40% chance to burn enemy and deal 30% of weapon's damage per second for 3 seconds.

Vampire
Epic
• Only A-Tier and really strong when specifically combined with the Drain Edge rune to stack Life Steal
• You can tank and regen so much from just hitting enemies and bosses for a lot damage
• The sword boost is a nice touch since Swords are decently fast for procing on-hit effects like Life Steal
Bloodthirst: +15% Life Steal.
Blade Adept: +10% Damage Boost to Straight Swords.

B-Tier Races

B-Tier Races Why B-Tier Race Abilities

Shadow
Epic
• Shadow is a worse version of Dragonborn but it's still a better DPS boost than the races below
• You get some movement and stamina with a DPS boost from the attack speed and physical damage
• You also get some HP value 15% of the time when you get hit
Shadow Pact: +15% Movement Speed, +10% Attack Speed, +10% Stamina, +5% Physical Damage, -10% Health.
Phantom Step: Upon taking damage, there is 15% chance to turn into a shadow to dodge the attack.

C-Tier Races

C-Tier Races Why C-Tier Race Abilities

Minotaur
Legendary
• Only good for Rage Mark and Rot Stitch builds that want to focus on dropping low and not taking any more damage
• The Runes along with Bull's Fury will give you a huge damage boost
• That said, this is only good until you get races like Angel and Demon
Beast:
+20% Health
-10% Movement Speed
-10% Stamina
+10% Height
+20% Width & Depth

Bull's Fury: While under 50% Health, activate Rage Mode; increasing movement speed and physical damage by 30%.

Orc
Rare
• Similar to Shadow but I prefer Shadow since it has better mobility and can dodge attacks Heavy: -10% Stamina, -10% Movement Speed.
Muscular: +10% Physical Damage, +15% Health, +10% Size.

Zombie
Uncommon
• Actually has a place among a few builds that go for Drain Edge runes for crazy high dungeon sustain
• Just make sure to stay out of combat for a bit if you take heavy damage to regen HP up with Mutated Genes
Rotten: -25% Health.
Mutated Genes: +2% health regeneration every 5 seconds.
Absorb: 15% chance to convert incoming damage to health.

D-Tier Races

D-Tier Races Why D-Tier Race Abilities

Human
Common
• A boring race but you can technically use it for farming with that nice XP boost
• I would just go for a better race instead
Blessed: +3% Luck and +3% Extra XP.

Elf
Uncommon
• Angel is better for Luck chance but it's hard to get so Elf is pretty good to switch to as a beginner for a nice Luck Bonus
• Overall it's not that worth it and a better race will serve you well
Superior Genes: +15% Stamina and +5% Height.
Glorious: +7% Luck Boost.

Undead
Rare
• IMO the worst race in the game since you don't want to be randomly taking damage for the reflect
• Plus, that HP regen has such a long cooldown that it's unreliable
Fragile Bones: -12% Health.
Sharp Surface: Reflect 10% of the damage taken.
Second Chance: Refills 50% of health when health is under 10%, every 5 minutes.

How to Reroll Race in The Forge

how to reroll race in the forge

You can reroll your race from the Shop-Race menu or from the Wizard NPC at his tower. To reach it, go toward the Cave entrance and make a left when you're near it. Continue down the road passing Tomo the Explorist and you'll reach the Wizard Tower. Go inside and talk to the Wizard and you can then spin for races via the Gacha system (See odds above).

How to Get Race Rerolls in The Forge

There are three ways to get Race Rerolls in The Forge and here are all of them:

  • You can get free Race Rerolls via The Forge codes so be sure to claim them all.
  • You can buy race rerolls in the game's shop for Robux (Accessed from your inventory T).
  • On Island 3, turn around when you spawn in and talk to the Santa who sells Race Rerolls for 650 Tickets (Complete Santa's daily quests for Tickets).

That's it for my The Forge race tier list and guide. Check out our The Forge codes for free goodies.

Surveyor Vault in ARC Raiders

The demand for Surveyor Vault in ARC Raiders has gone up ever since the first Expedition project kicked off on Dec. 22, and you're going to need plenty of them.

The Surveyor Vault is required as an upgrade material for the Medical Lab. While you might have kept all your upgrades intact, you'll still have to build them with the correct resources. This guide will help you find the best spots possible to find this specific item.

Best locations to find Surveyor Vault in ARC Raiders

The only known way to find a Surveyor Vault is by taking down Surveyors. You'll find the Surveyor on every map. My favorite locations are Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City, and Stella Montis. The Surveyor will only attack if it becomes aware of your presence. You'll need to wait for it to become stationary since its core will then be exposed.

It's pretty easy to take down a Surveyor when its core is exposed. However, you'll want to do so from a distance, as it can alert your position to nearby ARCs. You can also use one of your teammates to bait it out while you can shoot at its core. Try to carry heavy weapons as they're ideal to shred the armor of the Surveyor.

Surveyor locations in Dam Battlegrounds
Screenshot and remix by Destructoid

The Dam Battlegrounds appear to have the most spots when it comes to Surveyor spawns. I have marked a few of the locations where I have found them. You can try out the Ruby Residence, as this specific spot also spawns plenty of keys.

The Lobby area on Stella Montis is another great spot to come across different Surveyors (but their spawn rates will vary across raids). You can also possibly find them at the Medical Research and Assembly Workshop areas.

Surveyor locations in Stella Montis
Screenshot and remix by Destructoid

You can also find them on Buried City, Spaceport, and Blue Gate, but these maps can be harder to survive. Additionally, you can also find Surveyor Vault from ARC Couriers. However, it's not guaranteed, and ARC Couriers spawn randomly on the maps. Hence, it's best not to rely on this method.

all ores in the forge complete ore guide

Updated on December 26, 2025: Added all Island 3 Frostpire Expanse ores including the Spider Cave ores, The Peak ores, Mosasaursit and how to get the Prismatic Pickaxe.

I'll show you all the Ores in The Forge as well as their stats, how to reach their locations and what pickaxes to use to mine them. I'll also be listing special traits every Ore for creating equipment. Here are all Ores in The Forge and my complete Ore guide.

The Forge Ore Guide

Below I'll list all ores in The Forge sorted by location and rarity but first let's explain Ore stats. Each Ore has its stats like multipliers, rock nodes they drop from and traits. Here's what all Ore stats mean:

  • Rarity: Lower rarity Ores usually appear only in low-tier Rocks/Nodes in the world while high rarity Ores usually appear only in the high-tier Rocks/Nodes (Example: Stone-Common appears only in Pebbles and not Boulders while Aite-Epic appears only in Boulders and not Pebbles). Also, since higher rarity ores give better multipliers you need to have more higher rarity ores than lower ones for the higher rarity buffs to work.
  • Drop Chance: The chance that you will get this specific ore when you mine the rock node from which it drops.
  • Rock/Node (Drops From): What type of rock node drops this ore when you mine it (Example: Platinum only drops from Boulder rock nodes).
  • Multiplier: How much an Ore multiplies the value/strength of the crafted item. The final multiplier will be the sum of all multipliers from all ores you put in divided by the number of ores. As for stacking more Ores, this just increases the size of the item like dagger>sword>greatsword or helmet>leggings>chest.
  • Price: How much gold you get when you sell it at Greedy Cey/Shop.
  • Trait: A special ability weapons or armor get when you craft them using this ore. You need at least 10% of the Ore when forging among all the Ores you're including. You can mix Ores to have multiple traits

Each ore will have all of these stats below and now that you know what all of them mean let's dive into the Ore list. Remember to equip as many Mining Shard runes on your pickaxe as you can.

Best Pickaxe Progression: Cobalt - Mythril - Arcane - Demonic

Rushing the Snow Pickaxe for $750.000 is your best bet with the Goblin Race since it'll mine everything and also allow you to get Mosasaursite & Prismatic Pickaxe.

Also note that some of these Spider Cave Ores can also drop in The Peak via Ice Crystals.

All The Peak Ores in The Forge [World 3]

The Peak is right above the town area on Island 3 which you can reach by going up the walkway to the right of Bjorn the quest giver. Inside of The Peak cave are Small, Medium, Large and Floating Ice Crystals as well as all the late-game enemies and the Golem Boss. I recommend at least the Snow Pickaxe for this area and remember to use the Goblin Race for a discount.

Rushing the Snow Pickaxe for $750.000 is your best bet with the Goblin Race since it'll mine everything and also allow you to get Mosasaursite & Prismatic Pickaxe.

Also note that some Spider Cave Ores reappear in The Peak since some drop from Ice Crystals.

Mosasaursit Ore & Prismatic Pickaxe in The Forge [World 3]

how to find mosasaursit and the priasmatic pickaxe in the forge
The Prismatic Pickaxe is just behind the ice wall where you get Mosasaursit

Mosasaursit is a special ore needed for the Prismatic Pickaxe that is found by diving into the hole at the frozen lake at the other side of Island 3. Follow the picture and video above to reach the frozen lake, dive into the hole and keeping swimming down to the bottom. There'll be a massive ice wall that you can mine for Mosasaursit and you need 320 Pickaxe strength so the Snow Pickaxe for $750.000 is your best bet. Mosasaursit is used to unlock the Prismatic Pickaxe which is behind the wall where you need 1 Mosasaursit and enough cash to get it (Use Goblin Race for a massive discount).

Mosasaursit has a 7x multiplier, a guaranteed drop from the ice wall you mine it from and the following traits:

-25% Swiftness
+65% Vitality

That's it for my all Ores in The Forge guide with locations and pickaxe requirements. Check out our The Forge codes for free goodies. Also, with all these Ore combinations in mind here's a weapon tier list for the game.

The beauty around ARC Raiders is all about the different builds that you can try, but it's best to go with the meta if you actively engage in PvP.

The meta around PvP has slightly changed from what it used to be. First, some of the skills have changed from how they used to work. Secondly, it's possible to apply 80 skill points if you maxed out your stash value to 5 million before the Expedition project began.

Let's look at an extremely strong build that you can potentially use to dominate the PvP scene.

Best PvP build in ARC Raiders

Before deep diving into the build, let's look at how the points are distributed across the three branches.

Mobility Survival Conditioning
Nimble Climber 5/5 Looter's Instincts 5/5 Used to the Weight 5/5
Youthful Lungs 5/5 Agile Croucher 5/5 Blast-Born 1/5
Marathon Runner 5/5 Silent Scavenger 5/5 Gentle Pressure 1/5
Slip and Slide 1/5 Suffer in Silence 1/1 Fight or Flight 5/5
Sturdy Ankles 2/5 Broad Shoulders 5/5 Proficient Pryer 5/5
Calming Stroll 1/1 Looter's Luck 2/5 Unburdened Roll 1/1
Carry the Momentum 1/1 A Little Extra 1/1
Crawl Before You Walk 5/5 Effortless Swing 1/5
Vigorous Vaulter 1/1
Effortless Roll 5/5
Heroic Leap 5/5
Vault Spring 1/1
Vaults on Vaults on Vaults 1/1

The build is heavily biased towards Mobility since this is primarily to be used for PvP. You'll want quickness in your movement, and also be able to use the environment to your advantage. Thanks to Vault Spring and Vaults on Vaults on Vaults, you can do that.

Both Survival and Conditioning have an even investment of points just to aid your ability to stay alive while getting decent loot in the process. I went for Effortless Swing since there could be some situations when you might require melee. This build is heavily influenced by TaxiDLegend, who also shared the efficient routes when you're levelling up. I have made slight changes to the already-great build based on how I play.

Tyrese Haliburton in NBA 2K26 dribbling with the ball

NBA 2K26 players are in for some treats during Christmas, as 2K has been handing out regular codes.

These codes are significantly better than what we get from locker codes. All the rewards revealed until now feature special cards, and the same trend should continue later in the day. This guide will help you get all the rewards so that you can improve your collection in MyTeam.

All NBA 2K26 Christmas Day codes and rewards

So far, NBA 2K has revealed three rewards. All three codes guarantee you special cards, so here they are.

  • HAPPY-HOLIDAYS-FROM-MyTEAM: Drops a PD Ball that features Pink Diamond De'Aaron Fox, LaMarcus Aldridge, Michael Redd, Pascal Siakam, and Rudy Gobert.
  • MT-MITHCELL-BRUNSON: Drops two 90-rated Amethyst Donovan Mitchell and Jalen Brunson cards.
  • FOX-AND-SGA-IN-MT: Drops two 90-rated Amethyst De'Aaron Fox and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander cards.
  • FLAGG-CURRY-MyTEAM: Drops two 90-rated Amethyst Cooper Flagg and Stephen Curry.
  • MyTEAM-KD-DONCIC: Drops two 90-rated Amethyst Kevin Durant and Luka Doncic.
  • MT-EDWARDS-AND-JOKIC: Drops two 90-rated Athony Edwards and Nikola Jokic.

More codes are expected as 2K will be releasing them based on the Christmas matchups. Your task is to redeem the codes before they expire so you don't miss out on the cool rewards.

How to redeem Christmas Day codes in NBA 2K26

The process to redeem the codes is the same as that you apply for Locker codes.

  • Go to the Market tab after loading MyTeam.
  • Open the Locker Codes section.
  • Enter the code after copying it from this guide (or manually input it).
  • Click Done to claim all the rewards. You can find the packs in the Pack Market section.

If you're a beginner, these codes will be invaluable to get you started. You can expect to find agendas based on these cards to win more rewards.
