PCGamesN Wednesday, July 23, 2025 1:05 PM The Lost Ark Paradise update is here, and it's changing the free-to-play MMORPG forever. Supergiant Games announced that Patch 11 is the true final patch before Hades 2 leaves the early access phase and enters its full 1.0 release. Most additions involved Nocturnal Arms and the Boons & Blessings present in the game. The developer also noted that Void Lens and Zodiac Sands will turn into Prestige when the 1.0 patch arrives. The true ending will also debut at that time.
The three Nocturnal Arms and abilities changes in Hades 2 patch 22 involve Black Coat, Moonstone Axe, and Umbral Flames. The Umbral Flames projectiles' size and speed changed, and their aspects change for different individuals. For example, Melinoe will have a higher chance of performing a critical with it. On July 21, 2025, independent Vtuber Ironmouse opened a Tiltify campaign to support Immune Deficiency Foundation following the revelation that VShojo never donated the $515,000 from her subathon for the charity. As of 4:51pm ET on July 23, 2025, she's now raised over $1,000,000 for the organization. Her original goal was only $10,000.
Ironmouse, who herself confirmed she has common variable immunodeficiency (CVID), regularly supports the Immune Deficiency Foundation charity. She also contributed to the organization's Compromised: Life without Immunity documentary. As part of that, she contributed an original song called "Carry On." She also took part in a panel for the film during the 2024 PI Conference.
Immune Deficiency Foundation President and CEO Jorey Berry also issued this thank you video to Ironmouse for her charity efforts.
Another recent fundraiser for it involved Connor "CDawgVA" Marc Colquhoun doing Cyclethon 4 from Hokkaido to Tokyo in April 2025, with Ironmouse appearing on his stream of the trip. That charity ride ended up raising $1,069,561 for Immune Deficiency Foundation. Colquhoun donated $5,000 to this latest charity campaign organized by Ironmouse.
A number of notable companies, performers, and fellow Vtubers donated to this Ironmouse Immune Deficiency Foundation charity drive. As of time of writing, the top donors were Vtuber TaigaHolic with $16,001, streamer Lonewolf7701 with $16,000, Vtuber Trickywi with $15,778.20, video game publisher JAST with $15,555.55, energy drink company Gamer Supps with $15,000, and the VGen platform with $15,000. As far as fellow Vtubers go, Shylily donated $12,222.22, Dokibird contributed $10,001.69 (her original donation was $10,000), Mint Fantome shared $10,000.01, Nimi Nightmare contributed $10,000, Nyatasha Nyanners kicked in $9,001, Zentreya donated $8,000, CyYu gave $5,000, and Apricot the Lich (Froot) contributed $5,000. Tiltify itself also gave $5,000 to the cause.
One of Ironmouse's last statements happened ahead of the Immune Deficiency Foundation charity campaign hitting $1 million. She took to social media after it reached $744,282.54 to thank people for their help and support.
Ironmouse isn't the only former VShojo Vtuber making an effort to offer aid and outreach immediately following her departure from the company. Zentreya announced she will fund the debut of five indie Vtubers, rather than just one as initially planned.

Back in 2024, Capcom announced it would sell its Figure Builder Creator's Model Monster Hunter Rathalos and Rathian figures again, and now it confirmed the 2.0 versions will debut in Japan on January 1, 2026. WorldShopping is offering worldwide shipping from the company's e-Capcom store where they are being sold for 22,000円 each or in a bundle together for 44,000円. The bundle also comes with gold and silver eggs.
In each case, the version 2.0 Rathalos and Rathian Monster Hunter figures are static with no additional posing options for the monsters themselves. However, there are some extra display options. As noted earlier, the set comes with an additional nest of eggs that can be displayed with the pair. The Rathalos also comes with an additional rock stand part. So on its standard piece of rock it is about 14 inches tall (365mm), but if the additional rock platform is used it becomes about 19 inches tall (485mm).

Indie Vtuber Mint Fantome is among the latest performers to bring up their experiences with VShojo following Ironmouse coming forward about the company not paying her or making the subathon donation to the Immune Deficiency Foundation charity. She confirmed she is also owed money from the company as a result of performances and interactions with them in a YouTube video. She also noted she "signed on as a member technically" after speaking with Justin "Gunrun" Ignacio about being part of a generation with the company that acted as an idol group.
When Mint Fantome first returned as an indie Vtuber, it was for a Mint & Matara's Summer Special podcast with Matara Kan, who was with VShojo at the time. At the time, the two clarified the ghostly maid performer was not a member of the company and was acting as an independent individual. However, they established she was doing the podcast and the company might help with merchandise or events.
During her video, Mint Fantome began by explaining VShojo owed her money. She said her and Matara had the money from the Patreon from the podcast, but she wasn't paid from the merchandise or other fees. She then brought up how she knew Gunrun before VShojo and discussed the idea of an idol group generation. She said, "He seemed very keen about the idea. And so from then I had signed on as a member technically and [Vshojo] auditioned for two other members that were going to be a part of the idol group we would form." She also said that Vtubers Beri and Pia were supposed to debut with VShojo before her idol group generation did. She explained she was working primarily with the Japanese side of the company for the group. She did say that the Japanese staff was helpful, calling them "amazing" at one point, and said her 3D debut concert "should still happen."
Here is Mint Fantome's full statement:
Every Vtuber associated with VShojo since came forward and cut ties with the company following Ironmouse's announcement on July 21, 2025. Some of the individuals who passed a 2024 audition process also came forward with their experiences and to confirm they also no longer have any association with the company.
Since that happened, Ironmouse also started a new campaign on Tiltify to support Immune Deficiency Foundation. As of 12:05pm ET on July 23, 2025, it passed $860,000 in donations. Mint Fantome joined other Vtubers, organizations, and individuals in supporting it, and she pledged $10,000.01. (The additional penny was contributed to put her just above Dokibird, who then donated an additional $1.69 so she would remain on top with $10,001.69.)

I'll admit it: I'm a sucker for farming games. I try a new one every month or so, and odds are, I'll enjoy it. While most follow a similar formula, my latest discovery, Tiny Garden, has some interesting mechanics that I've grown to love.
In Tiny Garden, you start in a small, magical toy with just a few plots of land and a couple of seeds. Using these, you'll grow crops, exchange them for new seeds, and repeat the process until you've unlocked everything the game has to offer. Along the way, you'll even have the chance to unlock stickers, furniture, and other customization options to turn your toy into a miniature living space.
![]()
I love this progression system. It reminded me of games like Rusty's Retirement that require you to invest time and resources into learning more about the crops you unlock, rather than putting everything into a "meta" type to maximize profits. Instead, you have to gradually grow a little bit of everything if you want to achieve 100 percent completion.
There's more to Tiny Garden than just planting crops, though. Every plant type has a specific tile it prefers. Crops like turnips and carrots like dirt, while a lily pad requires water to grow. It leaves you with two options—treat it like a puzzle to unlock everything as quickly and efficiently as possible, or go with the flow and see what happens as you plant seeds in random spots. You'll occasionally obtain seeds through a small chest as well, so you don't have to worry about locking yourself out of progressing.
![]()
And then there's customization. I love sitting down and designing a house, character, or anything else that allows me to experiment with ideas, all while gathering thoughts and opinions from friends. As you discover new crops, you'll also unlock furniture, stickers, and other design options that you can use to decorate your environment. What was once a simple toy can become a dollhouse-like scene that you can customize to your heart's content. Since it's a tiny space, you're somewhat limited on where you can place items. To me, though, that adds to the appeal.
If you want an adorable farming game that has more than meets the eye, Tiny Garden has you covered. There are no leaderboards, time limits, or obstacles to prevent you from progressing or make things more challenging. As long as you tend to your crops and watch where you plant them, you have complete freedom to plan ahead or take things as they come.
Do you have any cozy, relaxing games you're considering picking up soon? Are you planning on grabbing some farming games next, or are you more of a life simulator player? Let us know in the comments below!

Disney Dreamlight Valley's "Dreams and Dark Designs" quest delves deeper into some of the problems surrounding the Storybook Vale. After completing multiple quests for Hades, Maleficent, and Aurora, you'll learn that Merida and Flynn keep experiencing horrifying nightmares. Let's help them resolve this predicament.
Table of contents
Starting the Dreams and Dark Designs quest
You'll start the Dreams and Dark Designs quest after reaching level seven friendship with Aurora and completing the following missions:
Once you meet these requirements, talk to Aurora to begin the quest. You'll learn that Merida and Flynn keep witnessing nightmares every time they sleep, prompting you to ask the two of them what's going on.
They'll reveal that they keep seeing green and blue flames in their nightmares, leading you to conclude that Hades and Maleficent have something to do with it. A brief chat with Aurora will give the two of you the idea to confront Hades and Maleficent about this situation before creating a Dream Spinner to analyze Merida and Flynn's nightmares.
Gather the materials to craft a Dream Spinner
Once you talk to Hades and Maleficent about Merida and Flynn's nightmares, you'll be ready to make the Dream Spinner. You'll need the following materials for its crafting recipe:
![]()
You'll find the first required material, Star Sapphire, by mining ore rocks in Everafter's biomes. To speed up the process, look for ore rocks that have dark blue gemstones protruding from their sides and hang out with a high-level villager who has Mining as their assigned hangout activity. If you're lucky, you'll only need one or two rocks to claim enough Star Sapphires for this objective.
Next is Volcanic Rock and Petrified Wood. Both are early-game resources you can obtain around the map. Petrified Wood comes from mining ore rocks in Everafter and The Bind, while Volcanic Rock requires digging in Everafter and Mythopia.
![]()
Last but not least, you'll need Dream Threads from the Sacred Spring in the Elysian Fields. You'll find the Sacred Spring northwest of the large pond in the biome's center. As you enter the cave's entrance, interact with the golden pool to claim the threads.
Once you have all four materials, head to any crafting station and create the Dream Spinner before returning to Aurora. Since Merida and Flynn are scared of their nightmares, you'll need to soothe their minds by making them some delicious food.
Cook some Warm Spiced Milk
Now that you've made the Dream Spinner, it's time to chat with Remy about potential food for Merida and Flynn. He suggests cooking up some Warm Spiced Milk and gives you special spices for the recipe. You'll need the following ingredients for the dish:
![]()
Milk is the easiest of the three to obtain, as you can purchase it from any Chez Remy location for 230 Star Coins each. Ambrosia is available at Goofy's Elysian Fields stall for 140 coins each, while nutmeg grows on trees in Mythopia.
With every item on hand, go to any stove or Chez Remy's kitchen to make two batches of Warm Spiced Milk. Now, you're ready to bring them to Merida and Flynn before viewing their dreams through the Dream Spinner. You'll unlock half of a memory, bringing you one step closer to resolving this problem.
Go to the top of Mount Olympus and look for the dream image area
Viewing the memory of Merida and Flynn's nightmares reveals that Hades' castle has something to do with this mystery. Go to Mount Olympus, enter his castle, and interact with the portal in front of his sign. Doing so brings you to the DJ set from Hades' "Fine, I'll Do It Myself" quest.
![]()
Upon arriving at this spot, you'll find a large rift to interact with. Approaching it gives you a second memory. While your character is confused at first, a quick conversation with The Lorekeeper and Aurora reveals everything you need to know.
Completing the Dreams and Dark Designs quest
After talking to The Lorekeeper and Aurora about the memory, you'll learn more about the Heart of Stories and how both Hades and Maleficent are likely trying to control the Storybook Vale with it. Frightened about this turn of events, you're now tasked with going to Maleficent's Castle to confront them once again.
Talking to Maleficent and Hades about this situation will conclude the Dreams and Dark Designs quest, leading you directly into the "The Two Flames United" mission.

EA FC 25's FUTTIES Team 3 cards could take the promo to the next level if EA Sports keeps walking on the predicted path.
As of writing, the first set of leaks has arrived, and they include some massive names. Team 3 should have special cards for active footballers and retired legends alike, with some of the latter potentially getting cards rated 98 or 99 (according to the leaks). We should also get some cards that feature five playstyle+, along with themed evolutions.
Here are the leaks regarding Team 3 that have appeared on social media.
All EA FC 25 FUTTIES Team 3 players (Leaks)
Do remember that these are just leaks on social media (barring a few that can be deduced from the new cover image). We should be getting at least a few leaks, if not more, ahead of the official launch. While a major chunk of the cards will be added to packs, new items will be released as SBCs and objectives.
EA FC 25 FUTTIES Team 3 release date
While the cards coming to the third team of the promo are yet to be revealed, we already have confirmation of the release date. Team 3 will launch on Friday, July 25, when Team 2 expires and gets removed from packs. Until then, you can also potentially find older promo cards in FUTTIES Best of Re-Release Batch 2.
It will be interesting to see which cards release as part of the Re-Release Batch 3. EA Sports improved from 125 cards in week one to 180 cards in week two. We might finally hit the 200 mark next week, which will be great for those who enjoy the infinite grind that's easily possible during the FUTTIES celebrations.

I have played thousands of games in my lifetime. I was born with video games, molded by them. And many of these were narrative titles, with characters that etch themselves deep into one's memory. But no other has come close to Valerie, better known as female V, in Cyberpunk 2077.
Not to shun the male VA and character, but Valerie is simply peak
![]()
Cyberpunk 2077 is an emotional rollercoaster. You play as a woman (or man) with a ticking time bomb in her head, one that is actively overtaking her mind while playing friendly all the while. Youth that should've been lived out in full is cut short by one mistake, the emotions of which you feel so viscerally from a first-person perspective.
Valerie, the female V, voiced by the incredibly talented Cherami Leigh, expresses this emotion on a much deeper, heartfelt level. The male variant, Vincent, is much more serious, made of tougher stuff, strong-headed and ready to face whatever comes his way. Though beaten down, he maintains this mean killer attitude, which, though awesome in its own right, does not allow the game's underlying theme of an early death to shine.
Leigh's interpretation of the character takes you for a true emotional ride. From laughter to suffering, she breathes out the game's heavy themes and ideas and slowly but surely works her way up from rock bottom.
Valerie is painted as a character who is downright afraid of death and thinks of it all the time, especially since Johnny's engram started working its way through her mind. Even if the player chooses choices that make V stand out as this fearless merc, deep down, via Leigh's voicework, V is always expressively afraid—of death, of the future, of what might come or happen either to her or those around her.
She is much more vulnerable and emotional, allowing the player to form a much deeper and personal connection to a character that, just via her voice, expresses so much. The male V, interpreted by Gavin Drea, would, to me, be more fitting of a fixer's role than a troubled merc's whose life is fleeting and always on edge.
The bitter-sweetness of Valerie's life transcends video games
![]()
By the time you reach any given ending with Valerie, she is ready to give up on life. Her voice shifts and changes in such a way that invites the player to ponder the very dangers V is facing.
Cyberpunk as a genre has always accentuated the struggle to survive, especially in the wake of corporate overreach, but Cyberpunk as a game puts us directly in the shoes of someone just about to be snuffed out. This role given to us is a transcendental one, one where we, as players, are faced with a potential future and have to look death straight on, even if from another's perspective.
Valerie, in this case, brings to the surface all the suffering caused by the system, the chaotic mistakes of youth shaped by a hostile environment (no matter the Life Path the player chooses), and the life-threatening consequences of not knowing any better.
The struggle to survive, to live on even for a day, is something all of us face day by day. Unlike Vincent, with Valerie and Leigh we get to feel these circumstances on a higher level, get immersed in the best-crafted video game world, and face V's fate alongside her.
And, with the bittersweetness of Cyberpunk 2077's endings, Edgar Allan Poe's statement comes to mind, elevating V to the ultimate poetic plane: "The death of a beautiful woman is, unquestionably, the most poetical topic in the world."
No other game, or voice actress, steers us along such a hellscape, inviting us to search deep within the world, the character, and ourselves, riding into the sunset hand-in-hand with the player and all the emotional weight she put upon them.
"Big guy with a gun" and awesome machismo will forever remain recognizable tropes, and Vincent sure has more than enough of them, but it is Valerie and her vulnerable, fearful, eye-watering but persevering nature that strikes all too close to the heart.
What about you, Destructoid? What do you think about V, male or female? Who is your favorite gaming character? Let me know below.

There are seven pages of rewards featured throughout the Adventures in Neverland Star Path event. The first six pages all have unique rewards, but the last one is just a repeatable collection of Moonstones.
When does the Adventures in Neverland Star Path end in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
The Adventures in Neverland Star Path is available to complete until July 30. After this date, you'll have a week to spend any remaining Tokens you may have before it's then permanently removed. A fresh Star Path event will likely arrive right after.
Items featured in this event may come to the Premium Shop in the future, but they're not guaranteed to. Anything that does return will also cost Moonstones, making them much pricier to unlock. If you want any of the prizes included, it's best to grab them before the event ends.
