When it comes to entry-level specs, the Cronos The New Dawn system requirements won't require a powerful gaming laptop or PC from the apocalyptic future of the game's setting. However, you will start to require some pretty modern hardware if you want to run this game at its best, even at 1080p.

While Cronos The New Dawn doesn't quite call for the best gaming CPU or the best gaming GPU from our comprehensive buying guides, it does demand some fairly decent hardware from recent years if you want to experience The Change and its ensuing devastation as the developer intended. What is odd, however, is that the developer hasn't released any performance expectations for its required hardware but has strongly implied that the minimum requirements won't run the game at 1080p.

We're always on the lookout for the best gaming mice, but it'd be fair to say the name conventions are a bit of a mess. The Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 is a great example of this: Fantastic mouse, terrible name.

It'd be fair to say that PC gaming isn't quite as accessible as console gaming for newcomers. Right off the bat, it's obvious that a Nintendo Switch 2 is an upgrade over a Nintendo Switch 1, but while you, the discerning RPS reader, will have some understanding of processors, RAM, and those all-important GPUs, it's not always easy for someone to jump in (short of grabbing a Steam Deck).

one piece arcade game

One Piece Dawn Strike will be an arcade game based on the anime and manga, and it'll appear in Japanese arcades in 2025. So far, we only know what the cabinet and gameplay look like, as well as when and where the location tests will be.

One Piece Dawn Strike will be a punching game that puts you into The Great Pirate Era. If it's similar to other boxing arcade games, it will likely have you punch the target on the cabinet when the game prompts you to in order to defeat enemies that appear on screen.

We will be able to see the game in action between August 22 and September 1, 2025, as that's when the location test will be. You can test out the game at the Namco Yokohama World Porters Store, and the arcade will be open from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM. During the location test, you can fight against Donquixote Doflamingo and Kaidou, who are two powerful characters in the One Piece anime and manga.

News of One Piece Dawn Strike came out during the One Piece Day stream and announcements, which took place over the weekend. Other information includes a trailer for the second season of the live-action adaptation, as well as confirmation that a third season will air. There will also be a One Piece Heroines anime, though with no further details.

One Piece Dawn Strike will appear in Japanese arcades in the future, with more information to come at a later date.
