Chikorita, Tepig, and Totodile in Lumiose City

If you have been confused and wondering where you can get some Mints in Pokémon Legends Z-A, this guide will help you with your troubles.

While the game does a decent job at highlighting the source for most resources, that's not the case for Mints. They're available from vendors in ZA, but the location isn't highlighted or marked on the map. Thankfully, this guide will help you find them and tell you where you need to be.

Pokémon Legends Z-A Mints vendor locations

If you're just getting started in Pokémon Legends Z-A, you don't need to bother much about finding Mints. These are more advanced items that you'll need later. If you're at that stage and wondering how to acquire the item, read on.

Mints are sold in Legends Z-A by a couple of vendors, and they can be found at the same location. To reach the correct spot, take the main route that goes north-west from the centre of your map. Take the second right turn, and then go straight.

Mint Trader locations in Legends ZA
Screenshot by Destructoid

Take the next right turn to enter a narrow alley, where you'll find several vendors. A couple of them will offer you different Mints. However, these are pretty expensive, and some of them need a lot of Pokecoins. Hence, only buy them if you really have a need.

Mints Vendor in Legends ZA
Screenshot by Destructoid

The location is also close to the Wild Zone 3 spot, but blocked by a building. If you're looking to catch Pokémon in that spot, you'll have to travel back a fair bit and catch the path that leads you to the zone. You can find other vendors selling important items like Berries at the location where you can buy Mints.

Mints are required if you're looking to change the nature of any Pokémon. In my experience, they won't be extremely important unless you want to min-max and build the perfect member for your Ranked Battles. Season 1 for Ranked is now live and offers plenty of rewards to aid your in-game grind.

Canari in Legends ZA

Pokémon Legends Z-A isn't all about battling trainers with your party, as you'll have to crack Canari's Quiz Whiz Contest before getting to battle wth her.

The quiz is pretty simple, and the task lasts across three rounds. You'll come across specific questions revolving around Canari and what interests her. If Naveen's help doesn't prove to be enough, this guide will help you ace the quiz without any problems.

How to begin the Canari Quiz Whiz Contest in Pokémon Legends Z-A

To begin your quest, head to the Electrical Substation and find Naveen. He will tell you about Canari and her quiz questions. Enter the Electrical Substation, and the password to this is "Let's go, DYN4MO!". The first round of the quiz involves three questions.

How to solve Canari Quiz Whiz Contest in Pokémon Legends Z-A

Each of the questions has two options: True or False. If you believe the answer to a question is true, stand in the green square. If you believe the correct answer is false, stand in the red square.

Canari asking questions in Legends ZA

Here are the three questions along with their correct answers.

  • True or false? I'm crazy good at falling-block puzzle games.

    • True

  • True or false? Macarons are my favourite food.

    • False

  • True or false? Electric-type Pokémon are my fave!

    • True

The next task is to find Eelektross' favorite dessert and bring it to Canari. For this, you'll need the Super Lumiose Galette, which can be obtained from Cafe Gallant. You'll have to get the item back to Canari at the Electrical Substation. However, you'll have to battle Mani of DYN4MO before completing the quest.

Mani has three Pokémon, and all of them are of the Electric type. To defeat him easily, use any Ground-type since they have the highest effectiveness among all types.

The next part involves another set of questions. Thankfully, Naveen will give you the answer for the quest, which is "Your Grandpa". When you provide the correct answer, Canai will agree to battle you at Racine Construction.

Totodile with the player characters in Legends Z-A

Pokémon Legends Z-A is now available worldwide, and so is Ranked Battle Season 1, and you can tussle with other trainers to get some fantastic rewards.

Ranked battles represent the core multiplayer content in Legends Z-A, where you get to compete with other trainers. Select a party of your choice, and then prove your worth in the battle. The more you win, the better your rewards will be.

Let's look at what's waiting for you from the Ranked mode.

Complete list of Ranked Battle Season 1 rewards

The rewards can be divided into three types.

Battle Rewards

Battle rewards represent goodies that you earn after the end of each battle. The result of the battle doesn't matter; complete the battle, and you'll earn your rewards.

Promotion Rewards

These rewards are obtained when you raise your rank. As of writing on Oct. 16, TPC has yet to highlight all the rank-up rewards. However, you can find valuable items like Mega Shards that you can then trade for Mega Stones. Reaching Rank K will also reward you with a Greninjite Stone, which can be used to Mega Evolve your Greninja.

https://twitter.com/PokemonNewsUK/status/1978038109511057448

Season Rewards

These rewards will be granted to you at the end of Season 1 on Nov. 5. The higher your rank, the better the rewards.

Rank A

  • Sport Ball ×3
  • Gold Bottle Cap ×1
  • Bottle Cap ×3
  • Seed of Mastery ×3
  • Big Nugget ×1

Rank B to Rank E

  • Sport Ball ×2
  • Gold Bottle Cap ×1
  • Bottle Cap ×2
  • Seed of Mastery ×2
  • Nugget ×2

Rank F to Rank K

  • Bottle Cap ×1
  • Seed of Mastery ×1
  • Nugget ×2

Rank L to Rank R

  • Seed of Mastery ×1
  • Nugget ×1

Rank S and Below

  • Nugget ×1

How to play Ranked Battle in Legends Z-A

The first task is to play the main campaign of the game till you unlock Link Play.

  • Press the X button to open the main menu.
  • Scroll down and choose Link Play.
  • Select Ranked Battle.
  • Choose your party. Make sure your chosen party adheres to the rules.

You can then start your Ranked journey in ZA. In Ranked, your chosen Pokémon will be automatically levelled up to Lv. 50, so your base level isn't a concern.

PSA: Don't Forget to Claim Free Honkai: Star Rail 5-Star Dan Heng

Back when HoYoVerse announced the 3.6 Honkai: Star Rail update, it confirmed a Dan Heng Permansor Terrae five-star character alt would appear and be given away for free to all players. However, he wasn't immediately available once the update dropped on September 24, 2025. The giveaway would start once his banner would launch on October 15, 2025. That is today, and he's now free until the 4.0 update eventually appears.

This version of Dan Heng is a Physical Preservation type of character dedicated to protecting allies. His other two incarnations are more DPS-focused. The Wind Hunt four-star we all get for free is designed to deal major damage to one target. The Imbibitor Lunae Imaginary Destruction character prioritizes AOE attacks. His Terra-Omnibus provides a shield for all allies and makes one of them a "bondmate" that provides a shield and debuffs. His Ultimate is A Dragon's Zenith Knows No Rue, and it damages enemies while shielding allies.

There are two new trailers that accompanied his launch. One is basically an ASMR video called "Dan Heng's Exclusive Physiotherapy. You can watch that below.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-aY5By6CQ5E

There's also a more cinematic trailer for him called "Home."

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-pQBgRsXJI

Now, as usual, it is possible to upgrade Dan Heng Permansor Terrae by getting additional Eidolons for the free one we're all getting in Honkai: Star Rail. These can be acquired via his banner, which is live now. His Warp is available until November 4, 2025. That includes the five-star version of him and the focus four-stars Hanya, Serval, and Sushang. The other five-star banner now is an Anaxa rerun one.

Honkai: Star Rail is available for the PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the Dan Heng Permansor Terrae five-star character alt is available for free until 4.0.

Sonic Rumble Multiplayer Battle Royale Arrives in November

Following a delay that pushed Sonic Rumble out of May 2025, Sega now confirmed the multiplayer battle royale game will now launch in November 2025. An exact date hasn't been set for its debut, though the App Store listing mentioned November 30, 2025. A new trailer is also live.

The new November 2025 release window trailer for Sonic Rumble confirms the battle royal game will offer multiplayer for up to 32 people at once. Different avatars and skins will be present as customization options. The video only briefly shows overview of some of the stages and challenges that will appear.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_FP6XoAMZYA

When the game does launch, there will be a number of bonuses immediately doled out to players. The pre-registration campaign hit all five of its goals. As such, we will all get a Garnet Knuckles skin, a Movie Sonic skin, a Crystal Chao buddy, a Happy Chao sticker, and 5,000 Rings. It is still possible to pre-register for the game on both Apple's App Store and Google Play. The skins change the appearance of both characters. The Crystal Chao can be equipped as a cosmetic accessory. Rings are used as an in-game currency.

Sonic Rumble will come to mobile devices in November 2025, though we don't know the exact release date for the latest spin-off.

Players celebrating a goal in FC 26

Ratings Reload Team 2 is coming soon to FC 26, and the first set of leaks has started to make their rounds on social media.

The release of the first team confirmed that there will be at least one more promo team from Ratings Reload. So far, EA Sports has remained tight-lipped about which footballers will be present on them. Thankfully, the leaks can give us an early indication of what to expect from our packs for the coming week, starting Oct. 17.

All FC 26 Ratings Reload Team 2 players (leaks)

As of writing on Oct. 15, the full team 2 cards have been leaked.

  • Ojeda
  • Kaminski
  • Ivan Romero
  • Zigiotti
  • Viggosdottir
  • Crystal Dunn
  • Francisco Conceicao
  • Maximilian Beier
  • Denzel Dumfries
  • Selma Bacha
  • Antony
  • Leny Yoro
  • Alejandro Grimaldo
  • Lauren James
  • Dominik Szoboszlai
  • Desire Doue
  • Kenan Yildiz
  • Lionel Messi
  • Kevin De Bruyne
  • Khadija Shaw

More leaks are expected to arrive closer to the release date of Team 2 in Ultimate Team. Moreover, look out for cards that will be released as SBC and objectives. Obtaining those items will be significantly easier since you won't have to rely on luck.

As usual, expect to see names of footballers who might have received lower ratings than expected. That has been the central theme of the Ratings Reload promo, and it's expected to continue with Team 2.

FC 26 Ratings Reload Team 2 release date

Ratings Reload Team 2 will be in packs when Team 1 gets removed. In simple terms, the new cards will be available in packs starting Friday, Oct. 17. They will be in packs starting from 6pm BST/12pm CT, and you can obtain them if you're lucky.

Alternatively, you can also buy them directly with coins from the market. The prices of higher-rated items will be steep, so pay attention to that. The lower-rated items will be cheaper, and some could even prove to be a bargain.
