Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Monday, December 15, 2025 3:07 PM Right, shall we try again? Marathon! A game that was technically meant to be out by now, but is very obviously not out right now, is now a game that has a release month (no date, Bungie don't appear to be ready to share that one yet). That month is March, 2026, which I'm assuming has been chosen so that PlayStation manage to release one of their many promised but mostly cancelled live service games before the tax year wraps up. |
Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Monday, December 15, 2025 1:05 PM If this is a single flavour of genre that, if you put a gun to my head and forced me to pick a favourite, I would say is my favourite, it's probably body horror. There are a seemingly infinite amount of ways to project images of devolving flesh and altered bodies into your eyeballs, many of which I find strangely relatable, occasionally comforting. Graft, the next game from the studio behind Battletech and the Shadowrun series, does none of that for me, but its first gameplay trailer successfully twisted my guts into a collection of pretzels, so it's doing something right (though perhaps avoid the trailer if you're quite squeamish). |

In honor of the Tales of JRPG series turning 30, Bandai Namco released two videos to commemorate the occasion. One is a Memorial Movie that briefly highlights 19 games in the line. The other is a message from General Producer Yusuke Tomizawa. December 15, 1995 is the day the first entry, Tales of Phantasia, first debuted on the Super Famicom in Japan, making today the exact 30th anniversary of the series.
First, here is the "Tales of Series 30th Anniversary Producer Message" on YouTube. It is only about three minutes long. It focuses on Tomizawa talking about the JRPGs as a whole and talked about how the company started preparing in 2024. It also showed the key visual for the anniversary again, which featured Asbel from Tales of Graces, Milla and Jude from Tales of Xillia, Luke from Tales of the Abyss, Alphen from Tales of Arise, and Velvet from Tales of Berseria. He also confirmed that a new game is in development, though "we cannot share specific details at this time."
Next, here is the "Tales of Series 30th Anniversary Memorial Movie" that touches on each mainline JRPG in the series. It starts by highlighting Tales of Phantasia and Cress Albane. After going through entries like Tales of Destiny, Tales of Symphonia, Tales of the Abyss, Tales of Vesperia, and Tales of Graces, it finally closes out with Alphen and Tales of Arise.
The most recent rerelease is Tales of Xillia Remastered for the Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and Tales of Berseria Remastered will show up on the Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on February 27, 2026.

Square Enix's Form-ism figure collection is growing, as Roxas from Kingdom Hearts 2 is about to join the line-up. He'll show up in Japan on April 25, 2026. He will cost 7,480円 (~$48). No worldwide pre-orders are open for it yet. However, the official Square Enix Store does carry other Form-ism figures, so we should see it eventually.
This is a non-standard scale size figure. So Roxas will stand at just about seven inches tall (18cm). It is a static one with no additional parts or poses. He's wearing his day-to-day clothing like he did in The Other Twilight Town and wielding a keyblade. On the base, the top of the Organization XIII logo appears in blue.
Here are the first photos Square Enix shared of the figure.
Roxas is showing up in the Form-ism line right as another Kingdom Hearts 2 version of a character appears in the figure line. Back in June 2025, Square Enix announced Sora would join that collection. It launches in Japan at the very end of December 2025, with a worldwide release following.
The Kingdom Hearts 2 Roxas Form-ism figure will launch in Japan on April 25, 2026. The game first appeared on the PS2 and is now on the Switch, PS3, PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix.

The latest Umamusume: Pretty Derby event and banners celebrate. fall event, as the Orchestra in Late Autumn Career campaign and matching Gold City and Symboli Rudolf Trainee alts are now live. So are the two new SSR Support cards for Curren Chan (Wit) and Narita Brian (Stamina). The event and banners run until Christmas Day (December 25, 2025).
The Archer by Moonlight: Symboli Rudolf and Autumn Cosmos Gold City alts aren't too different from their typical appearances. Rudolf is still primarily a Pace Chaser or Late Surger who focuses on Medium and Long Turf races. Her Unique Skill is better about also possibly supporting a Front Runner strategy, since Arrows Whistle, Shadows Disperse doesn't rely on passing others. Godl City also primarily uses the Pace or Late strategy, and she's best on Turf Mile races, though you could use her on Medium or Long ones. Her Unique Skill Dancing in the Leaves helps her break out of the pack on the final corner if she's "midpack."
In the case of the new SSR Support Cards Cutie Pie with Shining Eyes: Curren Chan and The Whistling Arrow's Taunt: Narita Brian, both have skills that we've seen before and feature Specialty Priority. Curren has Perfect Prep as a Career Event, while Narita Brian's Career Event skill is Beeline Burst.

Likewise, there is a teaser trailer for the SSR Support Cards Cutie Pie with Shining Eyes: Curren Chan and The Whistling Arrow's Taunt: Narita Brian.

We'll know more about what to expect from Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War - The Calamity Final Season later this week, as Shueisha and Pierrot confirmed the launch date for the first teaser trailer for the anime on social media. It will appear as part of Jump Festa on December 21, 2025. We'll be able to see it at 1:30am ET/7:30am CET. Like past seasons and cours, it will be on Disney+ and Hulu when it airs in 2026.
The placeholder for the Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War - The Calamity Final Season is already on YouTube, which includes a teaser image for the teaser. There are no hints as to what to expect from it. It only includes the logo for this series in orange, with an obscured image of a zanpakuto in the background.
This will be the fourth and final cour for Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War. The first run started in October 2022. That was called The Blood Warfare. The second and third, known as The Separation and The Conflict, aired in 2023 and 2024. Each of them lasted between 13 and 14 episodes, and it's expected this last batch will be about the same length. We'll get to watch details about the latest Zenless Zone Zero in a few days, as the Special Program stream for 2.5 appears on December 19, 2025. We'll need to be awake and around at 3:30am PT/6:30am ET/12:30pm CET to catch it. As usual, it will air on Twitch and YouTube.
The 2.5 storyline will keep us in the Waifei Peninsula area, with the Yunkui Summit storyline being a focus. This also came up in the trailer shown at the 2025 The Game Awards. New 2.5 heroine Ye Shunhuang appeared prominently in it, and she'll be on one of the banners after this update arrives. However, there will be another faction possibly highlighted, as Krampus Compliance Authority's Zhao will show up and join existing characters Banyue and Dialyn.
Key art shared for this stream also suggested the main antagonist for this update. There's an image of Ye Shiyuan the Thrall in the background. He comes up in the fifth chapter of season 2 of the game too.
It's unknown if this showcase could also offer a hint at the next faction. During TGA 2025, HoYoVerse teased three Angels of Delusion Agents. This is an idol group that will appear as playable characters.
Zenless Zone Zero is available for the PS5, Xbox Series X, PC, and mobile devices, and the Special Program stream for the 2.5 update appears at 3:30am PT/6:30am ET/12:30pm CET on December 19, 2025.

Bandai Namco shared a trailer for the next part of the Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot DLC, which is expected in early 2026, and it focuses on the Vegeta (Mini) elements. That's the second of the two-part experience available alone or in the $34.99 Daima - Adventure Through The Demon Realm Pack. This is likely the last teaser we'll see for it ahead of its debut between January and March 2026.
This second part of the adventure focuses on one character and three enemies. After showing some scenes of everyone in their Mini child forms and peeks at the Demon Realm, the focus turned to characters. Vegeta is the initial main focus. We see him transform into his Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta (Mini) form here. After that, it teases the debut of Tamagami Number Two, the Gendarmerie Officers, and the Gendarmerie Tank.
Here's the full Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Daima Part 2 DLC trailer. The end of the video offers a reminder that there is now a Daima edition of the game for the Switch and PS5 that includes the original experience and DLC.

Takarajima has revealed that it will release a book featuring the first PlayStation with a new case in January 2026. The set is immediately available for pre-orders both inside and outside Japan.
The company noted on the item listing that the case will be a revamp of the Blue Version, which it originally released in 2022. The New Version will distinguish itself with a different zipper design based on the console's memory cards. The case itself will also have the same size as the actual console, unlike the smaller pouch it released earlier in March 2025.
Here are the sample images for the new case:
The new set will cost ¥3,168 (~$20.33). Takarajima's website also has a WorldShopping widget, so people residing outside Japan can place pre-orders as well. The same set is also alternatively available to order via Amazon Japan.
Numerous merchandise themed after the first PlayStation appeared in early 2025 to celebrate the console's 30th anniversary. Sony worked with Grapht to release goods ranging from keychains to tote bags in January 2025. Roberto is the newest character to be added to Megabonk as part of the Spooky Update, and he can be an incredibly fun character to play.
He is also one of the hardest characters to unlock. Once you add him to the roster, however, Roberto could easily be considered a top-tier character. This guide will provide you with all the information you need to get a meta build for our spooky ghost.
Table of contents
Best Megabonk Roberto build
To build Roberto properly, you'll need to understand how his kit works. Roberto isn't blessed with a lot of health, and he doesn't need it either. He is a typical DPS character who excels when you boost his attacks.
Before we dive deeper, let's look at how you can set up the character.
The Scythe is a fantastic weapon in my books, as its slashes are pretty powerful. It can hit multiple enemies with a single swing, and you don't even need to target in a specific direction. It's quickly becoming one of my favorite weapons. The range could be slightly better, but it's still a 9/10 weapon.
Aura is a must-have with Roberto so that you can gain your levels as quickly as possible. This is to trigger its Hoarder passive more frequently. With Hoarder, you get free chests after a certain interval, and this improves as you level up. Moreover, Hoarder also allows you to float, which has several benefits.
The Bananarang adds a bit of range to Roberto, but you can also go for Lightning Staff if you're focusing on AoE for easier wave clearances.
With Tomes, you'll want to add Luck as quickly as possible. Since you'll be opening plenty of extra chests, having the additional luck will be immensely helpful. And, with the Scythe's limited range, adding the Size tome will remove that weakness (and also enhance the effects of Aura).
That's also why I went for Clover in my list of items (enhanced luck is required to get better returns from your chest). Gym Sauce raises the damage from all your weapons, while Medkit helps Roberto to preserve his health in dire situations (since he doesn't have too much health to begin with).
Of course, you'll also need to unlock Roberto in the first place.
How to unlock Roberto in Megabonk
Here's a quick guide on how to add the new character to your available roster.

Double XP weekends in Call of Duty are considered holidays for some gamers, and honestly, I get it.
The XP grind to unlock weapons, hit Master Prestige, and secure special camos and attachments is best done when the XP rate is higher. In Black Ops 7, there are a ton of things to unlock along the way to Max Prestige, and double XP weekends are perfect for that since you don't need to use any of your XP tokens.
Double XP events happen every few weeks in CoD, and BO7 is the same. It's important to know when these weekends are coming up so you can schedule time with friends to party up and pile up XP in any of the game's multiple modes.
Here's when to clock out early or schedule an off day so you can get in that double XP time in CoD.
Table of contents
When is the next double XP weekend in BO7?
The next double XP event in BO7 has not been confirmed, but it should coincide with the free week of BO7 during the week of Dec. 15 to 22, as Activision previously announced.
Fastest way to level up in Black Ops 7
The cool thing about BO7 is that, no matter what mode you're playing, you're earning XP towards your levels, Prestige, weapon XP, and eventually even battle pass XP. You can play multiplayer, Zombies, Endgame mode, or even the co-op campaign to earn XP as you level up.
In the end, this means that you can use a double XP token and rack up the points in whatever mode you prefer, but there are definitely faster ways to get XP. Zombies mode Survival maps are great for XP since you can use an item like the Rampage Inducer to spawn more enemies, and the maps are small so you can kite Zombies and blow them up to keep the points flowing.
Another great method is on the Avalon map in the Endgame mode. In the Tier 3 difficulty region north of the Resorts POI, a ton of Fear enemies (zombie-like mobs) will spawn in constantly. You can stay in this area and farm the kills for XP each match, but be careful since you will lose your Combat Rating if you die.
Keep in mind that tokens don't stack during double XP weekends, so save them up for when double XP is not active in-game. But if you're waiting for a double XP event to grind the game, here's what we know about when these events are scheduled to take place.
Black Ops 7 double XP schedule
This article will be updated with new double XP info when it's available.

Bungie's upcoming extraction shooter Marathon is finally ready for release, thanks in large part to a ton of feedback from the game's closed tests.
Earlier this year, Marathon's closed alpha test was met with lukewarm responses, to say the least. Since then, the team has been hard at work iterating on feedback and preparing it for launch after it was delayed out of its initial drop date in September.
Marathon is now confirmed to be coming in March 2026, so the wait is really not much longer at all. And in the ViDoc above, the team highlighted what's different and improved from previous tests, including proximity chat, a solo queue, improved visuals, and enhancements to the "survival experience, immersion, and danger of the world."
Many of the alpha's main complaints have been addressed, specifically the lack of proximity chat (which has been a huge pull in fellow extraction shooter ARC Raiders), world-building and atmosphere in general, and the game's visual fidelity when it came to outdoors areas. The game is built to feel more dangerous now, too, upping the stakes that you would expect in the genre.
Bungie is already teasing Cryo Archive as a new map placed on the Marathon ship itself. The devs say "if you're not ready to take your best stuff, well, you're not gonna survive." This is in addition to several other existing maps that have already been playable such as Perimeter, Dire Marsh, and Outpost.
The studio confirmed that Marathon will launch at $39.99, which puts it at the same price at another extraction shooter like ARC Raiders. The studio says there are no pay-to-win mechanics, and gameplay outcomes are never determined by spending, plus cosmetic reward passes will not expire, and players will be able to buy past ones if they join late.
Marathon is now just a few months away from release. Judging by the ViDoc, it seems as though the game is in a way better place than it was a year ago. Are you interested in it now, judging by what's been shown? Let us know in the comments below.

Russian gamers exercised their right to protest wartime censorship this weekend, and it was spurred on by a recent ban on the popular game Roblox.
First reported by Reuters, "several dozen people" were found outside protesting the game's ban in Tomsk, a city 1,800 miles east of Moscow. The protest took place around 11 days after news first came out of the country that the kids' gaming platform was being banned for "LGBT propaganda."
Several young people held up signs with words like "Hands off Roblox" and "Roblox is the victim of the digital Iron Curtain" in Vladimir Vysotsky Park, according to Reuters, in response to the game being taken down within the country a couple weeks ago.
"Children in the game are subjected to sexual harassment, intimate photos are tricked out of them, and they are coerced into committing depraved acts and violence," Russian media regulation outlet Roskomnadzor said in a statement earlier this month when the ban was put in place.
Roblox has repeatedly come under fire in recent months, such as the Florida attorney general saying the game "has become a breeding ground for predators." That came after the state of Louisiana also filed a lawsuit against the game, saying that it has allowed child predators to "thrive."
"We respect the local laws and regulations in the countries where we operate and believe Roblox provides a positive space for learning, creation and meaningful connection for everyone," Roblox officials said in a statement to Destructoid on Dec. 3. "We have a deep commitment to safety and we have a robust set of proactive and preventative safety measures designed to catch and prevent harmful content on our platform."
Russia banning an app or game is nothing new, as it has already restricted several social media platforms like YouTube, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and others. But when it comes to Roblox, the protesters in question have apparently had enough.

You better watch out, you better not die (in Call of Duty), you better not pout, I'm telling you why: Black Ops 7's Naughty and Nice event is here.
The latest seasonal holiday event for BO7 is bringing the gifts, or maybe the lumps of coal, depending on how bad you've been in CoD this year. But the Naughty & Nice event in BO7 is mostly nice, as it brings along a new free weapon and animated camo for gamers to unlock along the way.
Here's the full list of challenges and rewards you can get by playing Naughty & Nice.
Table of contents
Black Ops 7 Naughty & Nice event
There are 10 total challenges to complete in Naughty and Nice, and the two main rewards are the Sokol 545 LMG and Snowfall animated camo. Five challenges are Naughty (sacks of coal) while five are Nice (holiday gifts), and completing the associated challenge allows you to open up whatever is inside (a mystery, for now).
All 10 challenges can be completed in either BO7 multiplayer, Zombies, Endgame, or Warzone. Just finishing one of the tasks listed below will unlock the reward for it.
Naughty challenges and rewards
Completing all five Naughty challenges unlocks the Sokol 545 LMG.
Nice challenges and rewards
Completing all five Nice challenges unlocks the Snowfall animated weapon camo.

Hunting secret chests is almost a ritual in Destiny 2 dungeons, and Equilibrium continues this longstanding tradition. These containers drop dungeon loot once per character per week, giving you some extra drops on top of what you already get from encounters and feats.
There are two secret chests inside the Equilibrium dungeon: one is just after the first encounter and the other is between the second and third. They can drop any acquired item from the Equilibrium dungeon loot pool, be it weapons or armor. They seem to be affected by attunement, which you unlock after clearing the dungeon quest, The Way Between. They've almost given us too many copies of the Voltaic Shade scout rifle to count.
The two secret chests in Equilibrium don't seem to have a weekly lockout, unlike the standard for Destiny 2's other dungeons upon release. You can reportedly grab prizes from them after clearing all three encounters, similar to the process of getting the Black Crystal for your Praxic Blade.
Here are the locations of the two secret chests in Destiny 2's Equilibrium dungeon.
First Equilibrium secret chest: after jumping across the ship
The first chest is between the first and second encounters, just after you jump across the gap and onto a different part of the ship. You'll come out into an area walled off by red lasers. The secret chest is located between two spaceships above. Stick to the doorway just opposite the space chasm and look for the mounted turret on the right side of your crosshair.
Second Equilibrium secret chest: In the platforming puzzle inside the ship
After taking down Harrow, keep going until you get into another, bigger spaceship. Inside, you'll reach an open area with a platforming puzzle, where you must grab the Shadow buffs, traverse the area, and hit buttons to advance. As soon as you come out into that area, look to your left to find this secret chest hidden behind some crates. It's either the best- or the worst-kept secret, depending on your attention to detail.

Nothing is more frustrating than trying to game online and chop it up with friends, but being unable to do so.
In Call of Duty: Warzone or Black Ops 7, if server issues aren't a problem, you can sometimes run into issues where you can't communicate via in-game voice or text chat. That makes chasing down W's a bit harder, especially if you're trying to call out to your friends and they can't hear you.
CoD's "voice and text chat disabled due to platform restrictions" error is a big problem for some gamers these days, and it's become more prevalent in recent times. If you're getting this error, you're not alone, and we have some info on what it could mean.
CoD Warzone voice chat not working error
The Call of Duty "voice and text chat disabled due to platform restrictions" has been a recurring issue over the past few years, but it began to pop up a lot more during Black Ops 7's season 1in December 2025.
Many players have reported the issue appearing and then disappearing, only to reappear again, so it may be a bug with the game that needs to be fixed by the developers. Others reported that it had to do with having an active PlayStation Plus subscription.
On Dec. 15, a Reddit user posted a screenshot of their bug report history on Activision's website. In it, Activision acknowledged the "voice and text chat disabled due to platform restrictions," saying this: "Teams are investigating an issue causing some players to receive notification that voice and text chat has been disabled when attempting to part up or use social features." So, it does appear to be a bug within the game itself that needs to be fixed.
Another common reason for this issue, however, is a potential temporary chat ban from Activision. Call of Duty games monitor voice and text chat and sometimes submits automatic bans or restrictions from chat if you are labeled an offender. If you think this may be the case, you can check your CoD account's status and attempt to appeal a ban by visiting this page on the Activision website.
There are a few steps you can take to try and fix the problem. As always, try resetting your internet or PC/console first. Then, make sure your privacy settings on the console and CoD itself allow you to use communications on the app. Also double-check that you're in the proper chat channels within the CoD app as well.
If you're still having problems, it's worth posting on social media and looking for help via official Activision channels, like Activision's feedback and bug report web page.

Legends and icons never die. Lara Croft is both of these things, and so she lives on in the form of two new games coming over the next few years.
The return of Lara and Tomb Raider at The Game Awards this past week was one of the show's highlights, especially considering that Amazon Games Studios revealed these multiple games at once: Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis in 2026 and Tomb Raider: Catalyst coming in 2027.
I followed up on the announcements with a presentation from Crystal Dynamics devs the day after The Game Awards, and while they couldn't reveal too much, it's clear that this is the start of a new era for the franchise and its heroine that the studio is excited about.
A lasting legacy lives on
Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is coming out sometime next year, and Crystal Dynamics is calling it a "reimagining" of the 1996 PS1 game that started it all. It's being developed in tandem with another studio, Flying Wild Hog (Throne and Liberty, Lost Ark), and the devs would not use the term "remake" when describing it.
This seems to mean that it won't be a one-to-one recreation similar to something like the recent Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater (the game's website teases "new surprises that honor the spirit of the original"), but a way refresh the first game for a new age of gameplay and visuals. It is, though, a game fully built from the ground up in Unreal Engine 5.
"We want to honor the legacy of the original game by modernizing it with a gameplay experience, with the fidelity that's now possible in Unreal 5," game director Will Kerslake said. "Like 30 years of technology has happened since 1996. That's not an easy thing to do, but ultimately our goal there is you want it to feel like it felt when you played it the first time, but play like a modern game. So, there's vital things that we have to keep the same: that confident, capable Lara Croft, the globetrotting adventurer, the cool, strategic puzzle-solving within that space. But, we know that we need to completely adjust 'how does this work' when you're interacting with the actual controller through combat and through traversal."
Kerslake was adamant about recreating the memories and moments of the original for new players, citing the "different gaming realities" of 1996 vs. 2026, allowing Crystal Dynamics to "reimagine the feel, but for a modern play."
"For us, it's a love letter by fans, all of us [at Crystal Dynamics], for fans, which is everything that we do, and that's who we do it for," Crystal Dynamics studio head Scot Amos said of Legacy of Atlantis. "We knew the [Tomb Raider] 30th anniversary was coming up and we wanted to do something special to both celebrate that moment but still pay honor to all of the core designs, regional DNA, and intent from this amazing title that launched the franchise."
With the reimagining of a classic, Amos said that there's some obvious pressure that comes with that, but at this point, it's old territory for Crystal Dynamics after several remasters in recent years and a whole reboot trilogy a decade ago.
"We've experienced some of this [pressure] at Crystal before, certainly, looking back at our history of what we've done with Tomb Raider at different times," Amos said. "Even today, I think we put the most pressure on ourselves because we know as fans what we want. Everything we do is for the fans, so we listen very intently to the audiences and then say 'how do we take what we've learned, what we're doing ourselves, and how do we push that to that next step'? There is a tremendous pressure to be both respectful but also keeping that iconic core that has made this character enduring for so long."
For what it's worth, from what I gathered from the discussion, Legacy of Atlantis is giving me the vibes of what the recent remakes of Resident Evil 2 and 4 were aiming to do, where they stayed true to the original titles in many ways but improved upon them by tweaking gameplay and adding some changes to modernize the experience for current gaming times. This makes sense, considering 2007's Tomb Raider: Anniversary was more of a direct remake of the original.
As of now, it's unclear how these modern changes will translate, and it's too early to say if this game will match the quality of Capcom's efforts, for example, but it seems as though Legacy of Atlantis is aiming to capture that same sort of essence.
"I'm just getting started"
Tomb Raider: Catalyst, meanwhile, is still a long way off and the devs did not have much detailed info to give away yet, but it's the latest foray for Croft who Kerslake described as a "top of her game, experienced" adventurer compared to in Legacy of Atlantis, which is placed at the beginning of her career and after the reboot trilogy prequels of the 2010s, although it's unclear if everything is fully unified just yet.
The devs did confirm that Catalyst is a "brand new adventure" that's set after the events of 2008's Tomb Raider: Underworld, continuing on that specific PS3/Xbox 360 generation Legend trilogy nearly 20 years later once it's out in 2027. And that explains why Lara's appearance differs between this title and Legacy of Atlantis, the latter of which takes place many years earlier, which means she's just aged.
One thing we do know for sure about Catalyst is that it's set in northern India, which Kerslake said is "a land that is rich in ancient history and myths to explore," and "a region that offers vast and varied landscapes that are begging to be explored." He added that it will be explained how the setting connects "narratively and story-wise" to the rest of the games, but that discussion is still far in the future for now.
The team on hand was very hush on many major specifics about gameplay or most other details, but Kerslake mentioned that "there are lots of clues" in the teaser trailer for the game, including her new grappling hook item and how Croft says "I'm just getting started," meaning that Catalyst is probably the first entry in another new trilogy for Lara.
"If you poke at that trailer, there's a lot of cool stuff that is in the game," Kerslake teased.

Duriel is one of the four Lesser Evils available in Diablo 4 Season 11, and you have to obtain his Corrupted Horn to gain access to two Divine Gifts that will empower your build.
The Corrupted Horn is obtained by defeating Duriel, but the method is a bit complex. This guide will lay down the steps to encounter Duriel and obtain the Corrupted Horn.
How to get Duriel's Corrupted Horn in Diablo 4 Season 11
You can encounter Duriel randomly in the Sanctuary, or you can summon him at the Pained Altar. The latter is the best way to secure the Corrupted Horn. I am unsure if you can get the Corrupted Horn of Duriel without having to summon.
To summon Duriel at the Pained Altar, you'll need two Baneful Hearts. Baneful Hearts are extremely rare and can be found from Tortured Gift of Mysteries chests. These chests can be found all over Sanctuary during Season 11.
You can open the Tortured Gift of Mysteries chests with Abhorrent Cinders. You'll require 75 cinders to open one chest, and Baneful Hearts aren't guaranteed. The drop rate appears to be really low, so keep that in mind. Once you have found two, go to the Pained Altar to complete the summoning process.
While Duriel is a strong boss to take down, he is nowhere near as difficult as taking down Azmodan. You'll either want to dodge as many of his attacks as possible or go for a full poison resistance build. Once you have defeated Duriel, he will drop the Corrupted Horn.
Again, you only get the Corrupted Horn by defeating the summoned Duriel in my experience. I managed to get it on my first attempt, so it could be something that is guaranteed. Once you gain the Corrupted Horn, you'll find an updated objective asking you to return it to Hadriel.
How to use Corrupted Horn of Duriel in Diablo 4 Season 11
This part is relatively easy. Once you have the Corrupted Horn, visit Hadriel in Heavenly Forge. Submit the item you found, and you'll be able to unlock Duriel's Divine Gifts. Duriel has two Divine Gifts to offer: Essence of Pain and Essence of Squalor.

Another The Game Awards has gone by without mention of Bloodborne 2, Bloodborne Remastered, or even a patch to get it running at 60 FPS. The negligence hurts, so fans have come up with Graceborne, a mod that Bloodborne-ifies the entirety of Elden Ring, and it's fantastic.
Graceborne gives a massive grimdark overhaul to most of The Lands Between from Elden Ring. This glorious mod kills Elden Ring's day and night cycle to make night permanent, drenching even its most colorful places in the darkness you'd associate with Bloodborne, and adds new textures heavily reminiscent of Yharnam. And on top of all the cool areas to look at, players will also get to marvel at some of the enemies they already know from Elden Ring with a Bloodborne makeover, like this beautiful headless horseman.
But Graceborne isn't just about aesthetics, and it features the coolest FromSoftware elements unique to Bloodborne, such as the weapons. Graceborne not only adds the firearms from Bloodborne, but also functional trick weapons that you already know from the game, as well as some new ones. Also, gun parrying is naturally back, as is Bloodborne's no equip load, so as to allow players to make full use of a hunter's natural nimbleness.
Graceborne completely alters the nature of Elden Ring, naturally, but mod creator Noctis states that this is not an attempt at a Bloodborne sequel or expansion. He explains that Graceborn is a cool coat of paint for Elden Ring. From what I've experienced, however, he's selling his work short. Graceborne is truly fantastic, another extraordinary victory for the Souls' amazing modding community, even if you just want to walk around and see what The Lands Between would look like during super Halloween.
Bloodborne and Elden Ring are two of the greatest games of all time. That's not just because of what they offer right out of the gate, but also because of how inspiring they are and how they allow fans to work with their inspiration. Graceborne is another example of the power of the Souls modding community. While the developer humbly claims it's still in its infancy, Graceborne is already very worthy of your time.
This is not an unofficial expansion or continuation to either game; this is a labor of love that lets one of the best games ever bleed out into the other to create something new, and you should totally check it out.

'Tis the season to lose a limb from frostbite in ARC Raiders.
The popular extraction shooter's new Cold Snap update will hit the servers tomorrow, bringing cold weather and map changes for gamers to now contend with, along with other players, murderous robots, and the new frostbite affliction.
As part of Cold Snap, playable maps will feature snowfall that reduces visibility and freezes over lakes, opening up new areas for traversal. But also with the seasonal change comes the new frostbite mechanic, which will slowly drain your health bar if you remain outdoors for too long. To contend with frostbite, players will have to take shelter to warm up, adding a potential new wrinkle to the tried and true extraction gameplay.
The new update also brings the game's first Expedition Project, giving players the chance to reset their inventories for new rewards, but the game's second-ever Raider Deck is also coming, offering new feats to complete and items to collect. This includes the new hockey-inspired Goalie Raider Deck outfit and hockey stick tool, coming to the game on Dec. 26.
Throughout the duration of Cold Snap, there will also be the Flickering Flames event with new gear and rewards to unlock, plus a new Project called Candleberry Banquet that will reward Raiders for scavenging unique items such as these Candleberries. Both events will be available only for a limited time, from Dec. 16 to Jan. 13.
The snowy weather aims to become yet another hazard for players to contend with in ARC Raiders, making each raid deployment a difficult choice when it comes to deciding what kind of loot to bring. With frostbite, you may want to pack a few extra bandages, but you also run the risk of losing whatever you have, as always.
Cold Snap arrives in ARC Raiders tomorrow, Dec. 16, at 3:30am CT, just in time for the holiday season and potential Christmas noobs to follow not long after.
