Remember Hyper Scape? I acknowledge that this might come across as a tad mean, but in this ridiculously fast-paced world we find in, it can genuinely be hard to remember one failed live service game from the next. For a refresher, this was Ubisoft's attempt at a battle royale game back in 2020, though it didn't pan out as it was shut down only a couple of years later. Well, anyway, it's back! Sort of, not quite, but it might soon, or actually probably eventually, will be thanks to the efforts of a group of people hoping to revive it.

Last June, Jagex - the developers of medieval MMO Runescape - found themselves at odds with players after deciding not to create any new content for Pride Month. Disputed internally at the studio before the discussion then leaked online, the decision appeared to be a retreat in the face of a world turning on minority groups.

Following up in September, Games Industry asked Jagex CEO Jon Bellamy if he stood by the call to simply re-run existing Pride-themed quests and events. "Ultimately, my job is governance and protection as much as anything else, and so sometimes those kinds of harsh decisions have to be made to protect the imminent future of the game," he told them. "If there are tough decisions to be made next year, we'll make them. If the world has changed a bit and the environment is different, we will react accordingly."

Five months on and with this year's Pride Month on the horizon, we've asked if the environment is different.

One Piece Anime Elbaph Arc Simulcast Stream Starts in April Egghead dub

Crunchyroll offered updates on the streaming status of the One Piece anime adaptation and its simulcast, touching on new details about the Egghead Arc and upcoming Elbaph Arc. The English dub for Egghead will show up on March 24, 2026. Then, on April 5, 2026, we'll see the Elbaph Arc simulcast with subtitles start its run. Both are part of the Final Saga of the manga and anime series

In the case of the One Piece Egghead Arc English dub, we already know what to expect from that part of the anime's streaming debut on Crunchyroll. It will only cover a handful of episodes. 1,144 through 1,155 will appear with English voice acting. This will show up in the US, Canada, Latin America, Australia and New Zealand, India, South Africa, and Southeast Asia.

As for the Elbaph Arc of One Piece, it involves the Straw Hat and Giant Warrior Pirates heading to the Land of the Giants. It also features the search for the One Piece itself heating up as multiple pirate crews are coming together. Also, some notable figures appear or are reintroduced in this part.

Both of these launches come after another notable debut tied to the series. Netflix confirmed the live-action adaptation of One Piece will show up again on March 10, 2026. That's when the second season will start to go over the Arabasta Saga that includes the debut of Baroque Works and addition of new crew members like Tony Tony Chopper.

The One Piece anime is streaming on Crunchyroll, with the Egghead English dub launching on March 24, 2026 and the Elbaph Arc sub simulcast beginning on April 5, 2026. Viz Media handles the manga outside Japan. The live action adaptation is on Netflix.

New Gnosia Figures Based on Setsu and SQ

Now that the Gnosia anime adaptation is here, Sega announced its Chokonose line of figures will include Setsu and SQ. Setsu will appear first in Japanese arcades starting on February 20, 2026, and SQ will follow on March 6, 2026. Worldwide release plans haven't been shared yet, but Sega often sells these figures on Amazon after launch. Big Bad Toy Store also shows listings for both, but isn't accepting orders.

The Chokonose items are sort of like a noodle stopper figures, as they all feature characters in sitting positions so someone could place them perching on a desk, shelf, or box. Setsu is the taller of the two, at about three and a half inches (9cm), due to their pose featuring them sitting upright. SQ is only slightly shorter at about three inches (8cm), as her position features her leaning forward toward the viewer. Each one is wearing the outfit worn in the anime adaptation, which is nearly identical to the costumes that appeared in the game. These are also based on their standard appearances, and not their Gnosia-infected ones.

Here's how both the Setsu and SQ Gnosia Chokonose figures look:

The Gnosia Setsu figure debuts in Japan in arcades on February 20, 2026, followed by the SQ one on March 6, 2026. We will see them appear worldwide after that. The game is available on the Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC worldwide, as well as the Vita in Japan. The anime is streaming worldwide on Crunchyroll.

8.7 Honkai Impact 3rd Raiden Mei Battlesuit, New Costumes Teased

HoYoVerse shared some details about the upcoming 8.7 update for Honkai Impact 3rd, and they include a new Battlesuit for Raiden Mei and costumes for Coralie 6626 Planck, Elysia, and Lantern. Many of these will appear immediately after the patch for the new version arrives, which means we should see the new character additions on March 5, 2026.

In the case of the new Raiden Mei Battlesuit, it is called Xentinel: Dawnbearing Crescent. When HoYoVerse revealed it, it confirmed it is an S-rank battlesuit. As more details were released overseas, we also know it is a Mech type unit that will deal Physical damage. She'll also have an Astral Ring gameplay element, like all suits after 7.2. This marks her first major alt since Part 2 of the game appeared.

Here's the official YouTube Short, which shows off the details of the new Honkai Impact 3rd Raiden Mei Xentinel Battlesuit and her new weapon.

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/WrimVpIn9kI

In the case of the costumes, there will be one on an Outfit Supply banner, one as an event reward, and one as a Carnival Spend bonus. So basically the only free one is Lantern Ablaze for the Lantern Battlesuit Lone Destruction: Shadowchaser. That's earned from Timely: An Eve's Miracle, which should start right after the update arrives. The Carnival Spend Bonus Candied Curtains skin for Coralie's Behold! Fate-Defying Dragon shows up right away too. Elysia's Hi Love Elf costume called Lunar Grace is the one debuting on the March 13, 2026 banner.

Here's how all of those look:

Honkai Impact 3rd is available for the PC and mobile devices worldwide, and we expect the 8.7 update to arrive on March 5, 2026.

It will start on February 27, 2026, then end on March 18, 2026. It will be far more challenging of a fight than usual, as this will be a 10-star battle. Different types of equipment will be able to be forged if you beat it. In addition to six glowing, heart-shaped pendants in the trailer and an ominous lantern, it will be possible to create Rompomask α if you survive and get the materials from the fight. There are two variants for how this will look when equipped, with one featuring the sacs inflated and the other deflated.

Wuthering Waves Changli and Jinhsi Nendoroids Debut in 2026 figures

Good Smile Company opened figure pre-orders for its two Wuthering Waves Nendoroids of the heroines Changli and Jinhsi. Neither one is in the US storefront yet. They're only in the standard Good Smile Company shop, with each one costing ¥7,900 (~$51.50). Each will come with an extra illustration sheet as a store bonus for buying direct through the company. In the case of both characters, it marks the first major figures of them.

These are two updates on figures that showed up as prototypes back in August 2025. Both of these Wuthering Waves figures feature fewer face plates than normal, as both Changli and Jinhsi each only get two. Changli has a standard one and one of her smiling with her eyes closed, while Jinhsi has a standard one and one with her eyes closed. Changli can wield her Blazing Brilliance sword and have a carrier pigeon perch on her head, and she also has an effect sheet that looks like Resonance Liberation. Jinhsi has her Ages of Harvest sword, horns for her head, and an effect sheet showing the larger versions of her horns.

Here's how the Wuthering Waves Changli and Jinhsi Nendoroids look.

The Changli and Jinhsi Wuthering Waves Nendoroids will debut in Japan in September 2026, and the figures will show up worldwide after. The game is available on the PS5, PC, and mobile devices.

Pokemon Pokopia original concepts explained in Shigeru Ohmori interview

Famitsu published an interview with several key staff members behind Pokemon Pokopia. One of those members is Game Freak's Shigeru Ohmori, who explained the origins behind the conception of the Pokemon Pokopia game.

Shigeru Ohmori is being credited as the concept creator and senior director of Pokemon Pokopia. He made the initial ideas before receiving feedback and support from people around him at Game Freak.

Ohmori first decided to have Ditto as the new game's protagonist, as it can transform into a human, which allows it to use tools that normal Pokemon cannot utilize. Ditto can also learn techniques from other Pokemon, such as learning how to make a grass patch from Bulbasaur. The results from these learned techniques would allow Ditto to meet more Pokemon species and learn even more techniques.

However, Shigeru Ohmori noted that the early build of Pokemon Pokopia felt more like a simulator than a sandbox. After finishing the first trial build for Pokopia while exploring additional gameplay elements, The Pokemon Company invited Koei Tecmo to further refine the game.

Koei Tecmo had previously worked on Pokemon Conquest for Nintendo DS, but Kanako Murata from The Pokemon Company clarified that her company simply picked Koei Tecmo as the best partner for developing Pokemon Pokopia. Koei Tecmo would then elect the Omega Force team to handle this, and Omega Force's Takuto Edagawa noted that this game's development takes the largest—albeit unspecified—number of staff members from the team.

While Omega Force is developing Pokemon Pokopia under supervision by Game Freak, The Pokemon Company provides development support while taking charge of the game's promotions and localizations to languages other than Japanese. The localization processes are notably more hectic for Pokopia compared to other Pokemon games, as the companies want to properly convey the distinct dialects of each Pokemon in every language featured.

Pokemon Pokopia will be available for Nintendo Switch 2 on March 5, 2026.

A screenshot from Avowed of a bearded man holding his hands out in front of him

You remember Avowed, don't you? Well, it's now a full year old, which means it's old enough that it's time to finally decide whether you're ever going to finish the game or if it will forever sit on your list of dropped titles. And Obsidian Entertainment is giving you a reason to return to Eora, wherever you left off.

The developer is celebrating Avowed's anniversary with an update chock full of new features, and that update will be available across all platforms—including PlayStation 5. Among the features in the update are three new playable races and additional customization options, a photo mode, a new weapon type, and a host of quality-of-life improvements. It's the game's largest update yet, and the list of additions more than proves it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MtoGSz4Kv1o

Originally, players could pick from elves or humans as their race, but now, they also have access to Dwarves, Orlans, and Aumaua. If you don't remember what those last two are, think Yatzli and Kai. And luckily for players who already dropped a gazillion hours into the game, you won't actually have to make a new playthrough to experience those three races; you can instead just change it through a mirror system.

Avowed was one of those games that I played but never ended up finishing. And it's not because I thought it was a bad game by any means. I loved my time adventuring with Kai and Marius at my side, finding hidden totems, and sight-seeing around Eora. But as with any open-world game, especially one I'm grinding for work, burnout starts to creep in after a week of playing, and my resolve to pick up a controller once more dips lower and lower with each passing day.

But the latest trailer for the anniversary update makes me actually want to jump back in, and no, I don't think it's only because of the music's catchy gun-cock percussion or rapid-fire visuals of Eora's beautiful sights and scenes—though both of those things are pretty cool, if I do say so myself. In addition to the new playable races and weapons, Obsidian is adding a few new stat changes and custom difficulty modifiers, which allow you to tailor the game's difficulty to your preferred playstyle. Plus, there's the photo mode, and I have to admit, I'm a sucker for spending way too long finding the perfect angle and pose to make my characters look devilishly stunning.

So, what say you, Destructoid? Will you be giving Avowed another go, or is it one that's better left in 2025? Let me know in the comments below.

Player attacking an enemy in Norse Oath of Blood

NORSE Oath of Blood is now out on early access on PC, and the performance has plenty of room for improvement.

Much of the early reviews on Steam cites performance issues on PC. So far, I have felt that there's definitely room for post-launch optimization. However, I have managed to make the game run smoothly (in a relative sense) by changing the graphics settings.

Best video settings in NORSE Oath of Blood

While I don't recommend this usually, you'll want to change the video settings in NORSE Oath of Blood before doing anything else. The in-game performance seems to be pretty rough on opening night. Before I dive into the settings, here's what I am using as my hardware.

  • AMD Ryzen 5600G
  • 12 GB of Nvidia RTX 3060
  • 16 GB of DDR5 RAM

Here's the set of settings I am currently using. Do note that the settings are focused on getting the best performance.

Norse Oath of Blood graphics settings
Screenshot by Destructoid

  • Resolution: 1920x1080 (varies with your setup)
  • Full Screen: Enable
  • Upscaler Type: DLSS
  • Upscaler Quality: Performance
  • Frame Generation: Disabled
  • VSync: Disabled
  • Frame Rate Limiter: Custom
  • Limit: 60 (if you're still getting stutters, bring it down to 40)
  • Motion Blur: Disabled
  • Ray Tracing: Hardware
  • Overall Quality: Custom
  • Post Processing: Medium
  • Effects: Medium
  • Shading: Medium
  • Global Illumination: Low
  • Reflections: Low
  • Shadows: Medium
  • Drawing Distance: Medium
  • Foliage: Medium
  • Textures: Medium

You can tone down all the settings above by one marker if you're still struggling.

  • Keeping the FPS capped to 60 is almost mandatory in the current state of things. While your system could support higher FPS, you'll likely get stutters, which can be frustrating. Given the general gameplay of NORSE Oath of Blood, playing at 60 FPS cap shouldn't be a problem.
  • I have also encountered occasional stutters with VSync, so you should keep it turned off.

A screenshot of the tombstone locations in the Windy Hills graveyard before the puzzle is completed.

With the amount of secret puzzles and hidden treasures that can be found in Under the Island, it's best not to leave any stone unturned, and that includes the tombstones in the Windy Hills graveyard.

This graveyard isn't exactly what it seems at first glance. It's easy to run by all of its tombstones and think nothing of them. But if you've found the treasure map in the Shelly Beach cave, you'll know this particular resting place is hiding something.

Here's how to solve the Shelly Beach treasure map and Windy Hills graveyard puzzle in Under the Island.

Windy Hills graveyard puzzle location

A map showing a few tombstones and numbers next to them with arrows pointing in specific directions.
The map in Shelly Beach shows you the tombstones in Windy Hills. Screenshot by Destructoid

When I first saw the map from the Shelly Beach cave, I thought the numbers next to the tombstones indicated the order in which you must move them. But given how many 1s are on there, that theory quickly fell flat. Instead, I realized those numbers actually give the number of spaces you have to move each tombstone in the direction of the arrow.

So that means the tombstones must be moved to the following positions:

  • Move the top tombstone one space to the right.
  • Move the leftmost tombstone one space down.
  • Move the tombstone to the far right one space to the left.
  • Move the tombstone to the southwest two spaces to the left.

A screenshot of the tombstone locations in the Windy Hills graveyard after the puzzle is completed.
Here's what the tombstones will look like after you move them. Screenshot by Destructoid

After you've moved all of the tombstones into their correct positions, the graveyard will look like the above image. This will then trigger the gate southeast of the location to open, leading you into a chamber full of enemies and explosives. You'll need to kill all of the monsters in the room before you can proceed.

The next few rooms operate much like the first. A few monsters will populate each room, and you'll need to clear them out before you can advance. In some of the rooms, you have to walk over narrow beams, crossing giant chasms and dodging fireballs along the way to get to the other side.

Eventually, though, all your effort will be worth it. At the end of the tunnel is a golden chest with Techniques #1: Attack, called the "hockey beam." This technique powers up your third consecutive attack with the hockey stick, causing Nia to unleash a powerful strike against any foe or obstacle in her way. Additionally, you'll find a smaller chest nearby with a Heart Coin in it, which you can then take back to M. Uscle in Koala Village to upgrade your heart storage.

An Arc Raiders screenshot

Shrouded Sky is coming soon to ARC Raiders, and we now have confirmation on its release date.

We already knew that the update would go live in February. Embark also announced earlier on the official Discord on Feb. 17 that the update will be available next week. So if you're as excited as we are, here's your countdown to Shrouded Sky in ARC Raiders.

ARC Raiders Shrouded Sky release countdown

Shrouded Sky will go live on Tuesday, Feb. 24. The release date has been confirmed by Embark on the game's official X account. The following countdown will expire once the game goes live.

[hurrytimer id="1180607"]

The countdown is based on the following times.

  • 2am PT
  • 4am CT
  • 5am ET
  • 10am UTC
  • 11am CET

This is the usual time Embark launches new updates. Whether larger updates like Cold Snap or smaller events like Shared Watch, all updates go live typically at 4 am CT. There's no indication that Embark will be following a different set of timings this time around.

What to expect from Shrouded Sky in ARC Raiders

While Embark hasn't exactly stated what the new additions will be, we know what to expect. There won't be a new map, but new map conditions/events will be added as part of the update. The update will also include new quests for players to enjoy.

A new ARC is also joining the available pool of enemies. Based on the trailer, it could have something to do with electromagnets. However, we will only know for sure when the update arrives in the last week of February.

It will be interesting to find out what new content awaits us. For now, the best thing is to keep enjoying the existing content and try to max out the Shared Watch event if you haven't done so already.

EA FC 25 FC Fantasy Team 1 players

Fantasy FC Team 1 is coming soon to FC 26, and you can expect some fantastic cards in Ultimate Team.

So far, EA Sports has been tight-lipped about what's coming after Knockout Royalty. It appears that the ongoing promo will be a one-team affair, and Fantasty FC (or FC Fantasy) is all set to be the replacement. Let's look at all the information that has already crept onto social media ahead of the official launch.

All FC 26 Fantasy FC Team 1 players

A few names have already popped up on social media who are expected to be part of the first team.

  • Rafael Leao
  • Salma Paralluelo
  • Endrick
  • Bruno Fernandes
  • Antoine Semenyo

While the names are few as of writing, more leaks will appear closer to the release date. Fantasy FC will feature dynamic cards eligible for upgrades. The upgrades will be based on certain stipulations that will likely depend on real-life football. If you have played Ultimate Team in the last few years, you'll have a fair idea about what to expect.

Fantasy FC will once again feature special cards for Heroes and Icons, along with cards of active footballers. So far, no Hero or Icon has been leaked.

FC 26 Fantasy FC Team 1 release countdown

The first team of the Fantasy FC promo will go live on Friday, Feb. 20. The new promo will replace the ongoing Knockout Royalty cards from packs. The following countdown will expire once the first set of Fantasy FC cards is added to the packs.

[hurrytimer id="1180588"]

The countdown is based on the following times.

  • 10am PT
  • 12pm CT
  • 1pm ET
  • 6pm UTC
  • 7pm CET

This is the usual schedule EA Sports follows with promo launches. While most of the cards will be available in packs, we should get new SBCs and objectives to complete. These will be alternate options to get the promo cards without relying on pack luck. We will know which cards eventually make it to the first week of the new promo on Friday.

Elsa Bloodstone

Marvel Rivals' constant hero additions can sometimes make for a balancing nightmare, none more prevalent than last week's Elsa Bloodstone launch.

Elsa is a powerful Duelist, dual-wielding guns and moving quickly around the battlefield, but her Apex Predator ultimate ability has come under massive scrutiny from players across social media for how powerful it is.

NetEase Games heard the cries, and Marvel Rivals will be releasing a quick, unscheduled balance patch in a few days to bring her monstrous brother back down to size just a bit. This is an uncommonly quick patch, a testament to just how strong Elsa's ultimate has been in its first week.

"To keep S6 feeling stable for the entire season and ensure that players can join in at any point during these two months without compromising their consistent experience, the S6.5 changes were designed to be restrained, with a smaller impact on the overall meta," the dev said. "But no worries! We're tracking your feedback as always and testing the proposed changes internally. Patch 0219 will target a subset of high-performing heroes that have drawn stronger feedback."

Here's a peek at the patch notes coming in the Feb. 19 update, along with some other hero changes to keep an eye on.

Elsa Bloodstone

  • Apex Predator (Ultimate)

    • Reduced Glartrox's health from 500 to 400.
    • Reduced Dash Duration from 6s to 3.5s.
    • Adjusted the enemy grab hitbox from 6m (L) × 6m (W) × 3.5m (H) to 5m (L) × 5m (W) × 3.5m (H).

Hawkeye

  • Reduced Piercing Arrow's Base Damage from 34 to 28.
  • Reduced the Base Damage of a fully charged arrow from 85 to 70.
  • When boosted by Archer's Focus, the damage of a charged arrow is down from 175 to 160.

Hela

  • Damage falloff of Nightsword Thorn still starts at 18m.

    • At 30m, the maximum falloff drops to 70 percent of the base (was 80 percent).
    • Beyond 25m, two critical hits will not KO a 250 HP target.

Gambit

  • Reduced base health from 275 to 250.
  • Breaking Spades now grants 10 percent Damage Boost (was 15 percent).

This update will go live on Feb. 19 at 3am CT.

ARC Raiders hero art

A series of duplication glitches that allowed players to amass large quantities of valuable items in ARC Raiders will now have repercussions for those who took part.

Embark Studios revealed this morning that its investigation into recent exploits is now complete, and the studio will be punishing those who took part in duplicating items in several different ways, depending on just how severe the actions were.

Image via Embark Studios

"Though these exploits stemmed from a design flaw on our part, the way they were used had a real impact on the game's economy and the way the community experienced ARC Raiders," Embark said this morning. "It's on us to address that and work to restore balance. Over the course of this week, we will begin issuing enforcement actions to accounts that we can confirm took advantage of these exploits."

ARC Raiders is a unique situation as an extraction shooter where the value of items has a distinct impact on gameplay systems and features like the Expedition Project, where in-game coins are saved up to put toward a goal. Duplicating valuable items basically breaks the game, and so the team says action needs to be taken.

The response to the news on social media has been pretty tepid, as you could imagine, with many players annoyed that the issue being a problem on Embark's end is now resulting in punishments. Several others have been calling for bans of streamers like TheBurntPeanut, who showcased the exploit to tens of thousands of viewers.

According to the dev, the punishments they expect to be doled out include:

  • Warnings for low-severity cases where abuse was limited.
  • Removal of Coins tied to exploit activity.
  • Suspensions for the severe cases, particularly where exploit usage had a significant impact on the in-game economy or other players' experience.

"It's our hope that this response provides a platform for future action, and we've already improved our detection and tracking, internal review tools, and safeguards to limit the impact of similar exploits," Embark Said. "We take this incident seriously, and we're approaching it as both a corrective effort and a learning opportunity to strengthen the systems that support fair play."

Tom Clancy's The Division 2 image

We have finally reached the point where we can obtain the Sheriff to add to our collection in The Division 2.

With the arrival of Scout 12, we can finish the Climax mission, which is key to getting the Sheriff. This exotic shotgun surely packs a punch, but obtaining it isn't so simple (unless you want to rely entirely on luck).

This guide will help you complete all the steps necessary to obtain the gun.

How to get the Sheriff in The Division 2

To have a chance of getting the Sheriff, you have to complete the United Ironworks mission on any difficulty. However, if you complete the mission on Master difficulty, the drop is guaranteed.

The Scout missions of the Mutiny season have three HVTs to take down. All the missions must be completed for you to gain access to the United Ironworks mission.

The Division 2 United Ironworks walkthrough (Sheriff Exotic)

The steps of United Ironworks are the same, irrespective of the difficulty level.

Foundry Tracks

United Ironworks takes place on the Iron Horse Raid map, but there's a twist. The map has been reversed. The action begins at the field where the Morozova fight takes place. Clear the hostiles and hack the Avenger cannon to complete this part, and then proceed on to Railway Yard. There are plenty of enemies to take down here, so be careful.

Railway Yard

Multiple hostiles are waiting for you at the Railway Yard. A part of the path will have molten lava that will burn you. Eliminate the enemies and open two valves, then shoot the container above the lava to extinguish it. The valves are located right below the broken bridge.

Foundry Core

This part of the mission involves working with the reactor. Go to the top of the reactor with the help of the chains and interact with the Diagnostics Control Panel. Open the valves and interact with the colored control panels. Open the lava gates after five interactions. Shoot the circles on the sides of the gate, which will open the lava gates.

Finally, shoot the small lock when it's turned to the middle, and then break the lava gates. A boss will eventually arrive, and you have to kill it to complete this stage.

Fallen Cranes

Kill all the enemies and shoot the yellow boxes in this area to proceed to the Sewers. One of the boxes is near the locked door from where you'll proceed to the Sewers.

The other box is in the building opposite the locked door. Since it's at a far distance, use a weapon with decent range.

Sewers

You have to reach the far end of the left platform and interact with the machine inside the fenced area. This lowers the water, and then proceed to the right platform. Before you can use the platforms to reach Sand Forge, you'll have to clear all the enemies.

Sand Forge

Before you can leave the Sewers and reach Sand Forge, some True Sons will try to stop you. Take them down, and you'll get access to Sand Forge (the final section).

The Sand Forge area requires you to clear multiple waves until you've cooled down the highlighted areas on the floor. To do so, you'll have to use water cannons at the end of the Forge.

Once done, Lieutenant Arden will appear. While Arden has a massive health pool, you can use the water canons against him. Once the canons are ready, you can detonate them to spray water on him. This will remove the damage mitigation buff, and he takes more damage.

Once the mission is complete, head to the extract, and you'll have the Sheriff in your inventory. Do note that the entire quest is quite difficult, and it's better to bring a friend with you.

Player holding up hands in heart next to mickey and minnie in disney dreamlight valley

Valentine's Day celebrations have arrived in Disney Dreamlight Valley, offering you several special missions that can be completed for exclusive prizes. The Valley Valentines event is a pretty big one, so you may need some help tackling duties for rewards.

Most seasonal events are annual, so we've seen them for a few years in a row at this point. Valley Valentines is completely new for 2026, though, which means there's a lot to learn about it. Here are all the Valley Valentines event duties and rewards in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to complete Valley Valentines event in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To complete the full Valley Valentines event in DDV, you need to:

  • Finish two special event duties.
  • Tackle as many event quests as you can.
  • Claim two exclusive rewards.

Valley Valentines event duties in Disney Dreamlight Valley

There are two event duties featured in this event. Both of them require you to tackle some additional quests, though, so although there are fewer duties than usual in this one, there's still quite a lot to get done.

Name Quantity How to complete
Cupid's Best Assistant 2 Complete two daily event quests.
Cupid's Confections 5 Give away five Heart-Shaped Chocolates to villagers.

Valley Valentines event quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley

There are 14 missions you can tackle in this event. What needs to be done for each one varies, but you're generally gathering items, cooking, or otherwise helping villagers out. These missions unlock on a daily basis, so we'll update this list as we're able to work through them.

Name How to complete
Valley Valentines: Anna Gather 20 Dry Wood, 20 Hardwood, and 20 Softwood for Anna. Then, listen as she gives the gift she made with these supplies to Kristoff, and chat with her to finish the quest.
Valley Valentines: Eric Obtain five Clams, five Oysters, and five Scallops for Eric. Then, listen as he surprises Ariel with a gift made from them and chat with him to finish the mission.
Valley Valentines: Belle Gather 10 Stone, five Fabric, and 10 Glass for Belle. Listen as she delivers a gift made out of these materials to the Beast. Chat with Belle.

How to start Valley Valentines quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Screenshot and remix by Destructoid

By default, Valley Valentines quests should appear on the official quest page, but they seem to be a bit bugged, making it difficult to get going on this event. If you encounter this issue, there's an easy fix.

Navigate to the Events page, select the Valley Valentines event tab, and click the Quests drop-down menu right under it. Scroll through the list of missions until you spot one that has a purple icon background instead of a blue one. This is your daily quest, so track down the character featured on it and chat with them to start the event quest.

How many Valley Valentines quests can you complete per day in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

You can only finish one Valley Valentines event quest each day in DDV. A fresh one unlocks every day at 5am in your local time zone, so logging on daily for the duration of the event is crucial if you want to tackle them all.

Valley Valentines event rewards in Disney Dreamlight Valley

There are two main event rewards you earn along the way, plus a special event item that can be gifted for a friendship bonus. Here are all of the available prizes you'll get as you work through it.

  • The Sparkling Hearts Photo Frame is a reward for finishing Cupid's Best Assistant. It's a frame you can apply in photo mode.
  • The Red Valentine Petals are a prize for completing Cupid's Confections. It's a special VFX furniture item you can place anywhere in the valley.
  • Heart-Shaped Chocolates are granted as a prize each time you finish a daily quest. This item can be gifted to villagers for a solid friendship boost.

How long is the Valley Valentines event in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

The Valley Valentines event is available to complete from Feb. 11 to 25. It's a fairly short one, with only two weeks to tackle everything it entails. 2026 is the first year we've gotten it, but it'll likely become an annual occurrence like all other seasonal events, so if you miss out on anything, you can expect to get another chance at it in 2027.

While you're working through this event, be sure to also keep an eye on the Paw-fect Romance Star Path, as it's running alongside it. This event has plenty of other tricky tasks you'll want to tackle so you can claim even more rewards. Some missions you might encounter and need to get done are chatting with a villager named after a flower, crafting a large elixir, selling green veggies, and mining for black stones.
