I've heard Cornwall is quite lovely this time of year. Still cool enough for a fresh pastie, warm enough to have fish and chips by the beach. Shame about all the mutant fish people that are hungry for death! Ah, no, sorry, I think I've gotten myself too enveloped within BRINE, a fast and heavy footed boomer shooter where you play as an angry fisherman who must defend the strange country from "crustacean cultists and piscine horrors."

The SKU code in Retro Rewind

Retro Rewind: Video Store Simulator has plenty of interesting movies that your clients will want to rent, and finding limited edition VHS tapes can be extremely lucrative. These are special versions of ordinary tapes that look and feel different.

Let's first look at how you can find them, and what's the best use for these limited edition copies.

How to get limited edition VHS tapes in Retro Rewind

There are different ways to get limited edition VHS tapes. All the methods are largely random, so it will ultimately depend on your luck.

  • You can find limited editions when you order movies from the market.
  • Obtaining tapes from the New Release section can often land you with limited editions.
  • Buying the NPC who sells you tapes.
  • When you order on the black market using SKU Codes, you can also get limited editions with your order.

How to use limited edition VHS tapes in Retro Rewind

Compared to ordinary tapes, limited edition VHS tapes are far more profitable. You'll get more money from every rental, and they also tend to have higher demand in my experience. You can also use them as display units for your store.

However, I prefer to use them for commercial purposes. Of course, some of your shiny tapes could end up taking damage over time. They could also get lost, and these special versions tend to be quite rare. If you're a beginner, you should look to rent them out to make the extra cash.

Once you've enough money, you can consider keeping these limited editions safe in your store as display units instead.
