hooked skills tier list and guide

Looking for the best skills in Roblox Hooked!? In a game where the base movement speed is slow the best skills are the mobility ones for both dodging and repositioning for your own hooks. I ranked all skills in the game from S-Tier to C-Tier for an easy overview. Here's my Roblox Hooked Skills tier list and guide.

Best Skills in Hooked Roblox

roblox hooked skill tier list

The best skills in Hooked are currently the mobility skills since it's so powerful to be able to move faster in this game where base movement is slow. That said, there are also some strong offensive and supporting options for teamfights. In general, the most powerful options are in S and A-Tier with B-Tier being situonally strong skills and C-Tier being weaker options. There's currently no useless skills since each skill can be good in some situation so no D-Tier abilities as of yet.

Base & Premium Skill Chances

Common 74.29% / 0%

Uncommon 20% / 20%

Rare 4.45% / 55.60%

Epic 1% / 20%

S-Tier Skills

S-Tier Skills Ranking Breakdown

Bolt Dash & Base Dash
Rare & Common
• Dashing is the best ability in Hooked so far since everyone is so slow
• It's useful for both dodging hooks but also dashing up to and hitting a low HP enemy to finish them off
• The Bolt Dash is IMO more powerful due to a lower cooldown even though it's a bit shorter
• It makes up for the distance with flexibility since you can both use it more often and it's faster

Black Hole
Epic
• Black Hole is the most powerful offensive skill in the game
• You can use it to pull people into gaps and holes
• Plus it deals damage to finish off low HP enemies or set up a hook and slash oneshot combo
• The area is massive too so it's great for teamfights

Heal
Uncommon
• Heal is the most powerful team-wise defensive skill in the game
• It has so many uses from healing yourself to hooking and healing a teammate to providing healing to your entire team if they're close
• That said as with any non-Dash defensive skill, you'll have to learn to dodge hooks well

A-Tier Skills

A-Tier Skills Ranking Breakdown

Big Bomb
Rare
• Such a powerful and impactful offensive ability that's weaker than Black Hole since there's more counterplay
• That said you can nuke two or three people sometimes with it so just make sure to learn movement well so you can get close

Multi-Hook
Rare
• Makes landing Hooks drastically easier
• Devastating in large teamfights
• In smaller fights it's situational but still good

Swiftstep
Common
• Mobility is really strong in Hooked so even the weakest mobility skill is still pretty good
• Allows you both to dodge hooks, position for hooks and chase low HP enemies

B-Tier Skills

B-Tier Skills Ranking Breakdown

Meteor
Rare
• Meteor has two uses that are pretty fun but more situational than other offensive abilities which is why it's lower
• The first is that it can be a good finisher for a hook and slash combo to finish off a low HP enemies
• The second is that you can use it to push people into hazards like on the lava level
• Fun to use

Golden Stance
Uncommon
• Golden Stance can be situationally really strong
• You get self-sustain healing
• Plus you get to ignore attacks and some hazards like on the lava level
• That said experienced players will spot that you're using this, wait briefly and hook slightly before it ends so that you get punished
• But if you're facing noobs you can dominate with Golden Stance

C-Tier Skills

C-Tier Skills Ranking Breakdown

Shadow Veil
Rare
• Shadow Veil is on the weaker side of abilities
• That said the invisibility can still be useful for escaping or setting up hooks that are easier to land

Wall
Common
• Wall is a bit more underwhelming than it's supposed to be
• But you can still save yourself or other teammates from stay hooks
• The downside is that dashing works way better for yourself and there are better team-support abilities

Ink Bomb
Common
• Decent defensive utility but enemies can still hook your through it if they play smart
• There are stronger options

That's it for my guide on the Roblox Hooked skills tier list. Check out our Hooked Codes for free gold in the game so that you can unlock the best skills faster.

A couple of Bombardiers in ARC Raiders fighting in a swamp.

The ARC Raiders Week 20 Trials are now live, and we have five fresh tasks to complete.

For this week, we have a few new tasks on our hands. One of those tasks appears to be quite dangerous. Let's look at how to complete all the tasks to get the required star ratings.

ARC Raiders Week 20 Trials guide

Here are the five tasks for Week 20.

  • Deliver Carriables
  • Damage Hornets
  • Damage Bombardiers
  • Damage flying ARC inside the walls
  • Get hit by lightning

Deliver Carriables

Field Depots on Spaceport
Screenshot and remix by Destructoid

The first task involves finding carriables along the map and then delivering them to Field Depots. Doing so gets you different rewards, which can also include blueprints if you're lucky. When you're carrying a deliverable, you won't be able to use any weapons. Hence, you should be careful about nearby enemies when delivering a carriable to a Field Depot.

You'll find all the Field Depots on Spaceport in the image above. However, you'll find Field Depots on all maps. The carriables usually tend to be within a 100m radius from the depots.

Damage Hornets

Next, we have to go head-to-head against one of the peskier flying ARCs. Hornets are bigger than Wasps, and they have stronger armor. You can find them pretty easily all around the map. They're also common at exfil locations.

To take down a Hornet, aiming for its posterior rotors. That will destabilize the Hornet and make it easier for you to take them down. Using the Hullcracker is a great option as a couple of shots are usually enough. However, you can also use the Anvil or the Renegade to take them down.

As a precaution, reserve your energy for the Hornet to aim at you. Then, use your dodge roll to escape from getting hit.

Damage Bombardiers

Bombardier location in Spaceport
Bombardier locations on Spaceport. Screenshot and remix by Destructoid

Bombardiers are one of the most dangerous ARCs to go up against. You can find it on all maps, but the easiest way to fight is to participate in a Matriarch hunt. Bombardiers will always spawn near the Matriarch to protect it.

While you don't need to destroy the Bombardier entirely, you'll need to take out the Spotters first. This will protect you from its rockets. Next, you can use weapons like the Aphelion or the Jupiter to destroy the Bombardier. The Hullcracker also works pretty well, as a few shots are enough to take it down. You can also use the Renegade, but you'll need to engage from a distance.

Damage flying ARC inside the walls

The wall in Spaceport
Screenshot and remix by Destructoid

This task is new, and it's open for interpretation as of writing. However, this task likely requires you to target flying enemies when they're within the walled areas of Spaceport. That's almost the entire map, barring the outskirts, and you can target any flying ARC.

For your convenience, I have marked what the wall actually looks like on the map. If you're in a round on the Spaceport map, you'll find the massive walls on the perimeter.

Get hit by lightning

This task is currently being tested as it's a completely new one. I will add the instructions once I have figured out the exact step and strategy for getting hit by lightning. One step is to start a round on the Spaceport map when the Electromagnetic Storm map event is active.

Look out for glowing blue spots on the ground where the next lightning is supposed to strike. Stand on it and wait to get hit. Once done, heal your shields and health to avoid death. However, there should be another way based on the official hint as revealed by Embark.

kaizen cursed technique tier list and guide

Updated on March 15, 2026: Added Grand Luck CT from the Hakari update.

KAIZEN's cursed technique system is all about progression and farming across Grade 4, 3, 2, 1 and Special. It's not worth it to grind each Grade and CT so instead let's talk about the best CTs in early, mid and late game. Here's my KAIZEN cursed technique tier list and guide.

Cursed Technique Tier List in KAIZEN

kaizen cursed technique tier list

The best cursed techniques in KAIZEN are King Curses and Idle Transfiguration for both PVP and PVE with KC having an edge in PVP. The A-Tier is full of alternative options for early, mid and pre-late game until you get King Curses or Idle. Let's talk about each CT individually below and why I've ranked it the way I did.

Tip #1: Our KAIZEN Locations guide will show you where to find world bosses to grind the best CTs

Tip #2: Combine these with the best clans in our KAIZEN Clan Tier List

S-Tier Cursed Techniques

S-Tier CTs Ranking Reasons

Mythical Beast Amber
Special Grade
• I need more testing but this CT is definitely in the top 2 best cursed techniques for both PVP and PVE
• I like it more than Idle because you have so much mobility with Z and X for PVP (Also great combo starters and extenders)
• Plus the V move gives you so much safety with the massive jump for PVP and deals a ton of damage along with C for PVE
• Make sure to combine it with the Kashimoto clan for the MBA skill buffs/transformation
• I'm still trying to figure what the Domain is good for since the lighting storm doesn't micro-stun for combos or slow and it's blockable so that's the only weakness

King Curses
Special Grade
• The highest DPS potential of all CTs, especially with the Sukuna Clan
• Best for both PVE and PVP now that Limitless is a bit weaker
• Fuga/Divine Flame and the Domain have massive AOE damage that hits everything
• That said, requires a ton of grinding for the base version and farming Domain Shards for the Domain
• Just be careful of using the Sukuna Clan with this in PVP because the Clan ability is punishable due to animation lag

Idle Transfiguration
Special Grade
• Up there with King Curses as the top 2 best CTs in the game
• Really strong against humanoid enemies due to the grabs
• Has a lot of PVE and PVP flexible moves with both single target and AOE damage
• I would go for Idle over King Curses if you don't want to grind as much since IT is easier to farm and strong without Domain too

A-Tier Cursed Techniques

A-Tier CTs Ranking Reasons

Limitless
Special Grade
• Still has good burst damage and a decent domain so it's good for PVE
• That said Limitless isn't top-tier anymore in terms of DPS and the domain is a bit weaker than before
• Still a great choice but there are cheaper options that are just as good

Blood Manipulation
Grade 1
• A bit tricky to farm for Grade 1 standards since you have to grind Choso raid
• That said it's really strong for a kiting playstyle where you try to outrange your opponent
• The R can deal a ton of damage on a full hit and the Clan ability heal plus speed buff are quite good for PVP
• Plus it's just really safe to play for PVE too due to great range
• Not as strong as Finger Bearer DPS wise or S-Tiers but a valid flexibile option for PVE/PVP

Grand Luck
Special Grade
• Currently Grand Luck is on the weaker side of CTs with the base version and I wouldn't use it as a base version
• Count the Base Version as C or low B
• That said the Domain and the Jackpot mechanic make it decent
• Overall, Blood and Limitless are better
• I wouldn't use Grand Luck without the Domain and it's low A with the Domain

Finger Bearer
Grade 1
• The best mid-to-late game option if you want to main CE and CTs without weapons and fighting styles
• The best G1 DPS for farming and I find it a bit easier to get than Blood Manipulation
• Leans more toward PVE with its damage bursts but it's okay for PVP as well if you learn how to land the moves reliably

Straw Doll
Grade 2
• Really underrated due to being Grade 2 but it's actually an incredible farming tool and support CT
• One of the best things to rush in PVE for progression
• The V is your main tool for immobilization and comboing with Melee/Swords
• Just an overall excellent supporting moveset that will carry you into the late game
• Combine with Blood Scythe or Frost Fangs for a strong mid to late game build

A-/B+ Tier Cursed Techniques

B-Tier CTs Ranking Reasons

Cryofrost
Grade 1
• One of the best CTs for a couple of specific uses which is bosses and PVP
• For PVP Cryofrost has massive combo potential even though it doesn't do the best damage like King Curses
• For PVE bosses you can combo them for massive damage
• That said I put it a bit lower since it's not the best overall use CT due to lower DPS

Shock Amplification
Grade 2
• Shock Amplification is another excellent PVE farming tool due to high AOE damage and being easy-to-get
• Finger Bearer and Blood Manipulation are better but they're also harder to grind
• Cryofrost is better for PVP so SA is strictly for farming and progression
• Once you get higher-tier CTs switch to them but SA will carry you there

Rot
Grade 1
• The weakest B-Tier IMO but decent overall damage with rotations for PVE
• Grade 2 Shock Amp and Straw Doll are easier to get and better at PVE farming though
• Only go for Rot if you really like the playstyle since it has good mobility and safe moves with the V and R
• Otherwise it's not super worth it to grind it since you can use those two Grade 2s to farm Special Grades
• Decent for PVP but not the best

C-Tier Cursed Techniques

C-Tier CTs Ranking Reasons

Cursed Speech
Grade 3
• With the rework it's actually quite good for PVE farming
• The moves deal great AOE damage and there's some PVP potential too mid-game with the Clan ability enhanced hitbox
• That said, it gets outclassed by CTs B-Tier and higher

Boogie Woogie
Grade 3
• Quite good to have as a mobility/utility tool on a Weapon or Melee focus build
• Otherwise it's horrible to focus on for a CE build

D-Tier Cursed Techniques

D-Tier CTs Ranking Reasons

Devil's Broom
Grade 3
• Decent utility with this one but overall weak DPS
• Note that the M1s scale with the Weapon stat

Construction
Grade 4
• An okay CT when you're starting out for progression
• Switch it out when you can

Cloning Technique
Grade 4
• Probably the weakest CT in the entire game

KAIZEN Cursed Technique FAQ

What is the best Cursed Technique and Clan in KAIZEN?

The best CTs are MBA, King Curses and Idle while the best Clans are Sukuna and Kashimo for PVE and Gojo/Itadori/Uraume for PVP.

How to get stat resets in KAIZEN?

You can reset stats via Stat Purity Tokens which you can get from Chests, Bosses, World Bosses, AFK World or buy it with Robux.

How to farm a specific cursed technique in Kaizen?

Besides the usual core materials which you get from regular enemies and bosses, the last material in a row for advanced CTs is from that technique's raid. For example, for Blood Manipulation you need to farm Death Painting/Choso raid or for Idle Transfiguration you need to farm Mahito/Train raid.

What stat boosts Cursed Technique damage in KAIZEN?

CTs are boosted by the Cursed Energy stat even though it doesn't state that it boosts damage.

What is the best Cursed Technique progression?

Go for Construction then Straw Doll then Finger Bearer as optional before Idle Transfiguration if you don't want to farm Domain Shards since IT is great even without the Domain. If you are farming Domain Shards then King Curses is the best one in the game.

That's it for my KAIZEN Cursed Technique tier list and guide. Check out our KAIZEN Weapon and Fighting Style Tier List if you're playing a melee or weapons build.

all kaizen clans ranked

Updated on March 15, 2026: Added the Hakari clan.

The best clans in Kaizen depend on whether you're making a build for PVP or PVE. That's why I made two tier lists below and you can use the S-Tier options as your best bets and A-Tiers as alternatives. Here's my Kaizen Clan tier list and guide for both PVP and PVE.

Kaizen Clan Tier List - PVP & PVE

kaizen clan tier list

The best clan in Kaizen depends on if you're going for a PVP or PVE build. In general, Sukuna, Kashimo and Mahito offer the best damage with their buffs that's suitable for PVE. On the other hand for PVP, Gojo has a really strong defensive ability and Uraume and Itadori have really powerful passive abilities that don't suffer from PVP-punishable animation end lag that Mythics do. Speaking of Mythics, the transformations are all on a set timer. Let's dive into each clan below and analyze its stat bonuses, abilities and why they're ranked the way they are.

Best PVE Clan: Sukuna & Kashimo

Best PVP Clan: Gojo/Hakari, Uraume/Itadori

Combo With: KAIZEN Cursed Technique Tier List & Weapons/Style Tier List

S-Tier Clans

S-Tier Clans Ranking Reasons Clan Stats

Kashimo
Mythic
• Overall Kashimo is only the top 2 Clan in the game if you're using MBA for the skill damage buffs
• If you're not using MBA use Sukuna/Mahito for PVE or Gojo/Uraume/Itadori for PVP
• That said, Sukuna is still about as equal or better for the general damage buff for PVE
• As for PVP, Kashimo suffers the same problem with the other transformations where you can get punished on animation lag
• Stat Bonuses
+10 Cursed Energy
+9 Stamina
+13 Defense
+6 Weapon
+4% CE Damage
+3.5% Health
+7.5% Max CE

• Clan Ability: Mythical Beast Transformation
Activate to get:
+Increased damage on Mythical Beast Amber
+A movement speed boost
+%Chance to apply Shock on attacks

Sukuna
Mythic
• The strongest PVE Clan in the game for DPS
• The Sukuna Mark is amazing both by itself and for giving a chunky damage boost for King of Curses CT
• That said, be careful when using it in PVP due to the endlag because you can get punished easily
• Stat Bonuses
+10 Melee
+12 Cursed Energy
+13 Stamina
+13 Defense
+9% Cursed Energy Damage
+13% Max Cursed Energy

• Clan Ability: Sukuna Mark (Cost 500 CE)
Activate to get:
+1.15x Damage
+20% Movement Speed
+30 Defence
+1 Dismantle Slash
+Dash Range of Cleave Grab Increased

Mahito
Mythic
• Similar to Sukuna in power and is really tanky with all the Defense boosts in base and ability
• The clan ability is great for PVP and really strong for PVE thanks to the extra defenses
• But like Sukuna the endlag on the animation can be punished by experienced players
• Better than Gojo for PVE but about equal for PVP
• Stat Bonuses
+8 Melee
+10 Cursed Energy
+13 Stamina
+17 Defense
+6% Cursed Energy DMG
+10% Max Cursed Energy
+5% Walk Speed

• Clan Ability: Instant Spirit Body of Distorted Killing
Activate to get:
+20 Stamina
+20 Defense
+12.5% Melee DMG
+5% Weapon DMG
+12.5% Cursed Energy DMG
+5% Speed

Hakari
Mythic
• Even without the active coin flip the dodge chance is really powerful in both PVE and PVP
• The stats are also good for a CE build
• As for the coin flip the rewards outweigh the negatives since you can deal massive damage or dodge even more
• That said it would suck getting stunned in a PVP much
• Overall really good for both PVP and PVE
• Stat Bonuses
+9% Dodge Chance
+8 Melee
+9 Cursed Energy
+15 Stamina
+18 Defense
+5% Cursed Energy Damage
+9% Cursed Energy

• Clan Ability: Lucky Flip
Activate to get:
Flip a coin to get a random buff or debuff
Lasts 50 seconds/1 minute CD/250 CE Cost
Possible buffs:
• Increased Curse Energy by 1.3x
• Increased Dodge Chance by 20%
• Increased Health 1.25x
• Increased Damage by 1.3x
Possible debuffs:
• Reduced Speed by 0.7x
• Stunned for 5 Seconds

Gojo
Mythic
• Best used for PVP and worse than Mahito and Sukuna for PVE
• That said Infinity is one of the best PVP Clans due to Limitless since it's amazing PVP defense
• It does drain CE though so make sure to invest into energy and it works best against M1 heavy builds
• Stat Bonuses
+10 Melee
+15 Curse Energy
+10 Stamina
+10 Defense
+7 Curse Energy Damage
+20% Max Curse Energy

• Clan Ability: Infinity
Activate to get:
Invisible barrier around you slowing down all nearby movement and hindering attacks.
Using it gradually consumes CE while active.

A-Tier Clans

A-Tier Clans Ranking Reasons Clan Stats

Kamo
Mythic
• Kamo is lower than other Mythics simply because it buffs an A-Tier CT instead of an S-Tier CT
• It's still pretty great for PVE while for PVP you have the problem of animation end-lag that can be punished
• Still, Flowing Red Scales speed works really well in PVP if you don't get punished for activating it due to the speed boost and heal
• Stat Bonuses
+10 Melee
+10 Cursed Energy
+9 Stamina
+13 Defense
+7 Weapon
+3.75% Cursed Energy DMG
+3.75% Health
+8% Max Cursed Energy

• Clan Ability: Flowing Red Scales
Activate to get:
+50% speed
+7.5% attack speed
+30% dmg
Resets the ability bar and heals 50% HP when an enemy is killed
Slicing Storm (Blood Manipulation) shoots an extra projectile

Itadori
Legendary
• Essentally you have a 1 in 10 chance to crit which is strong for both PVP and PVE
• Slightly better for PVP when compared to Mythics since there's no endlag or animation and the Black Flash is just a passive effect
• Much better than Todo by far
• Stat Bonuses
+10 Melee
+5 Cursed Energy
+5% Melee DMG
+10% Max Cursed Energy

• Clan Ability: +10% Chance of Black Flash

Uraume
Legendary
• Similar to Itadori where you want that 1 in 10 chance to freeze stun instead of dealing extra damage
• Freezing is incredibly good in PVP for combos
• Still, the passive is really strong and unpunishable unlike the start-up animations for the active buffs that Mythic clans have
• Stat Bonuses
+10 Melee
+10 Cursed Energy
+5 Defense
+5% Cursed Technique DMG
+10% Max Cursed Energy

• Clan Ability: +10% Chance of Freeze

B-Tier Clans

B-Tier Clans Ranking Reasons Clan Stats

Todo
Legendary
• Much stronger than Inumaki and other Epics but much weaker than other Legendaries and above
• It's just raw stats that are pretty great for beginners but you want the abilities of higher-tier clans for PVP and PVE
• Stat Bonuses
+15 Melee
+10 Stamina
+10 Defense
+10% Melee DMG
+10% Max Stamina
+10% Max Cursed Energy

Inumaki
Epic
• Inumaki is the best Epic because it buffs a CT for easier hits in PVP
• That said it's not worth it over other Clans and might as well be ranked C-Tier or lower with the other Epics
• I just wanted to pronounce that it gives both better stat buffs and an ability making it better than other Epics
• Stat Bonuses
+6 Cursed Energy
+6 Weapon
+5 Defense
+5% Melee DMG
+10% Cursed Energy DMG

• Clan Ability: +10% Cursed Speech Hitbox

C-Tier Clans

C-Tier Clans Ranking Reasons Clan Stats

Kugisaki
Epic
• Weak stat boosts but better than Rares
• Kugisaki is a great beginner clan though if you don't have many spins
• Stat Bonuses
+5 Cursed Energy
+6 Weapon
+5 Defense
+5% Weapon DMG
+5% Cursed Energy DMG

Uro
Epic
• Kugisaki but you get movement instead of defense
• The increases are minor either way so reroll this when you can
• Stat Bonuses
+5 Stamina
+5 Weapon
+3 Melee
+5% Walk Speed
+5% Stamina Regen

D-Tier Clans

These are just weaker stat boosts than Epics. Keep them if you're a beginner and don't have more spins. Otherwise always reroll rares and commons. That's it for my Kaizen Clan tier list and guide. Check out our KAIZEN locations & map guide to find all chests, world bosses, late-game weapons and more.

Bizzare Lineage Perk and Personality FAQ

Can you use perks from other stands in Bizzare Lineage?

Yes, you can use stands from other perks. For example, if you have Anubis, and then spin to Star Platinum and then to The World, you will have perks from all three stands that you can mix and match.

How to reroll personalities in Bizzare Lineage?

You reroll personalities using Personality Essence which you can either buy for Robux in the Shop or farm for them F2P in the Prestige Shop once you Prestige.

How to find Night Vampires for The High Priestess perk quest from Rose at Bus Stop 1?

You can find them at Bus Station 1 by heading toward the cafe left of the Kira raid until you see the sunflower then head left of the sunflower toward some trees past Thug enemies. Also check in front of the Jotaro Raid NPC at left side of the Gym at Bus Station 2 and at Bus Station 11 near the George NPC. Plus, PVE Board Quests can spawn Night Vampires as well.

That's it for my full list of all Bizzare Lineage Perks and Personalities. Check out our Fighting Style and Sub Ability tier list for more Bizzare Lineage guides.

anime paradox unit tier list and guide

Updated on March 16, 2026: Reworked the entire tier list and added Tokyo Ghoul and Fate units.

I'll be ranking all units based on their EVO forms and assuming best rolled stats for DPS, Support and Farm categories. In general, you'll need at least one support, one farm and fill the rest with DPS units. Here's my Anime Paradox tier list and guide.

Anime Paradox Best Unit Tier List

anime paradox unit tier list

The best units in Anime Paradox depend on what role you need whether it's DPS, Support, Farm or starter/beginner. In general, the best units are in the Meta or S-Tier. That said, supports matter as well since enemies will do chip damage to your units every wave. This means that you should bring at least one healer from the support section for harder modes. Not all supports are healers though since Ulquiarro or Kirrua also slow or stun enemies. Let's dive into each individual unit below and discuss their rankings.

Disclaimer: I'm assuming EVO and best rolled stats when ranking these units (For example, I assume your SJW is a 3-star).

Tier Breakdowns: The Meta tier compared to the S-Tier is just for Paradox units and to differentiate between Secrets that are slighty stronger but both tiers are excellent units to get. A-Tier is for the weakest Secrets and the best Mythics. Then B-C-D are power rankings for the rest of the Mythics.

Great for Infinite/Siege: SJW, Igrus (with SJW), Megumo, Sukuna, Zid, Storrk, QSB, Monkey King, Gojo.

Easy EVO Units: Kirrua, Asto, Melio, Itachi, Ciel, Megumin, Sky, Idol, Steel.

Best Farm Unit Trait: Greed

Meta Units

Meta Units Ranking Notes

Storrk (Resurreccion)
Banner Paradox
• With the recent fixes and buffs, Storrk is looking incredibly strong
• Basically hits the entire map though not like Zid with full AOE and instead chases down all enemies
• Also has the Metralleta nuke that deletes almost anything on the level including dealing a massive HP chunk out of almost any boss
• Critical attacks also extend each hit's range after each hit by 20%
• Amazing for Infinite/Siege

• Best Trait: Eternal

Arrogant God (The One True King)
Boss Rush Paradox Unit
• A powerful DPS/off-support option
• With only 2 placements Eternal works really well to buff Gilgamesh's massive DPS and keep his above-80%HP damage buff up
• Not only does he deal some of the best damage but he can be a flexible off-Support below 80%HP with buffs, debuffs, enemy slows and debuff cleanse
• He's also pretty tanky with a huge HP pool and an evasion/damage reduction passive
• Combine him with Enki/Earth's Wanderer for high damage synergy

• Best Trait: Eternal

Megumo (Ten Shadows)
Banner Paradox
Pity is 25M/20M for VIP
• One of the strongest units in the game for Infinite and Boss DPS that comes in two parts, Megumo and his Mahoraga summon
• Megumo himself has two self-buff passives with SE and CE for damage and cooldown reduction
• He also deals more damage and reduces damage reduction on every 5th attack scaling with attack speed traits and buffs
• But his main ability is summoning Mahoraga who stacks damage reduction and damage buffs as he gets to low HP
• Mahoraga on low HP becomes a tanky DPS machine dealing a ton of damage and ignoring 30% damage reduction

• Best Trait: Eternal

Monkey King (Crowned)
Ragnarok Shop Secret
• Has such great damage with Barrage, Leap and Slam that it's worth the Eternal
• Basically a self-sustaining unit with auto-dodges and self-heals
• That said, if you get unlucky the auto-dodge can stun MK 20% of the time for 2 seconds
• But the DPS and tankyness are worth the risk, especially on Infinite/Siege

• Best Trait: Eternal

Sukuno (Curse King)
JJK Portal Secret
• One of if not the best AOE DPS unit in the game that's good both in Infinite and boss DPS
• Sukuno has an ebb and flow playstyle where you generate stacks on attack with Energy Flow and then do an ability for a massive damage buff that resets stacks
• Also has Black Flash for more DPS, faster Energy Flow charge and self-healing
• Malevolent Decree is huge team utility debuffing enemies with damage amplification for your team and reducing their damage
• All off this is on top of the Domain Expansion which is a 1000% damage nuke that hits everything on the map

• Best Trait: Eternal

Sun Jin Wu (Monarch)
Raid Act 3 Secret
• An extremely powerful DPS unit that's a bit slow to get going and requires Igrus for the full potential
• That said even on his own, he's quite strong having a self massive damage/CDR/Lifesteal self buff on low HP and executing non-boss enemies
• He slowly stacks on-kill gaining damage, CDR, Lifesteal, execute threshold and buff threshold/duration at certain kill stack counts
• This alone makes him the most powerful unit in longer modes like Infinite and one of the best units in the game
• Note that if you have Igrus he'll stack twice as fast becoming viable for faster modes as well

• Best Trait: Eternal

Earth's Wanderer (Nature's Perfect Form)
Banner Secret
• Similar to Arrogant God where he's a DPS/off-support hybrid but instead of buffs and cleanses Enki focuses on CC
• For the off-supporting aspect you have 3-second stuns with his chain traps which are really good since they refresh each wave
• For the DPS, Enki is pretty good against bosses by himself but he gets crazy mob clear if you combine him with Gilgamesh for the synergy move
• Great for late-game content

• Best Trait: Eternal

Zid (Atomic)
Banner Secret
• Zid hits the entire map once you upgrade him to All Range Atomic
• He deals amazing DPS too and has massive stats thanks to being a secret
• Especially strong for Infinite/Siege

• Best Trait: Eternal

S-Tier DPS

S-Tier DPS Units Ranking Notes

Richy (LionHeart)
Legend Stage World 3 Act 2 Secret
• Very strong alternative to Gilgamesh and the Meta Fate units with high DPS and HP
• King Charge, Crowned Slash and Sovereign Light all deal massive AOE damage
• I would recommend doing Richy's stage after getting Gilgamesh though since Gilgamesh is better late-game

• Best Trait: Eternal

Ishtor (Celestial Empress)
Legend Stage World 3 Act 3 Secret Unit (On EVO)
• Very simple and powerful DPS unit that self-buffs damage based on nearby enemies which is why Angelic is so good
• On EVO you have a lot of high burst damage actives
• Alternatively go Vamp for self-sustain for harder stages

• Best Trait: Angelic/Vampiric

Death Reaper (Souls)
Hades Dungeon Portal Secret
• Very simple unit that stacks self buffs when taking damage
• Once you stack him fully he deals some of the best DPS in the game
• Plus, he doesn't need a healer that much because of Vampiric and he gains massive damage reduction and heals on low HP
• One of the best units from the Ragnarok update

• Best Trait: Vampiric

God Slayer (Awakened)
God Slayer's Domain Portal Secret
• One of the best boss-killers in the game
• Has a ton of single-target sustained DPS with God Slayer and the Bleed that increases damage taken and reduces enemy regen
• That said, it's best to place God Slayer in an isolated position else he'll reduce damage of your ally units that deal more damage than him
• That's why Eternal is so good both for one placement making GS placement easier and a possibility that he'll be the top DPS unit so that he doesn't debuff you

• Best Trait: Vampiric or Eternal

Kanbeki (Kajuka)
Raid 2nd Map Act 1 Secret
• Don't go Eternal on Kanbeki since his passive boosts his damage if another Kaneki is placed
• Vampiric works best for self-sustain that combines well with his counter for high defense
• Overall a self-sustaining powerhouse that's sub-Meta dealing and tanking a ton of damage

• Best Trait: Vampiric

Bumta (True Love)
Banner Secret
Pity is 20M/16M for VIP
• Not the most complex/exciting Secret but still mechanically S-Tier due to massive ~200k damage with his three actives per skill on full upgrade
• He's all about high damage reduction below 35% HP and reducing enemy damage reduction by 25% on-attack
• Plus he stacks up a chunky 40% damage buff decently fast that you can keep up as long as you heal him and he's not downed

• Best Trait: Eternal

Maeto (True Form)
Banner Mythic to Secret EVO
• On the lower end of secrets to be honest but Maeto still has some utility
• He applies a 20% damage amplification debuff on enemies thus buffing all your units
• Plus he's better at executing enemies since he gets another damage buff against enemies below 50%
• He's quite tanky too due to the Distorted Form damage reduction spam and fixed Black Flashes

• Best Trait: Vampiric

Ito (Kajuka)
Raid 2nd Map Act 2 Secret
• Overall Ito is really strong stat-wise but the reason I didn't put it in the Meta tier is because of less reliable abilities
• For example, the AOE stun is really strong but you can only do it at 30% HP
• The increased damage mark is really strong but it's a bit awkward to proc
• That said, overall, Ito is a DPS powerhouse, especially once below 70% HP for the attack speed boost

• Best Trait: Eternal

A-Tier DPS

A-Tier DPS Units Ranking Notes

Brojo (Six Eyes)
JJK Portal Secret
• Brojo is the best DPS/Support hybrid in the game dealing excellent damage but also slowing and stunning enemies
• Infinity is your main slow and damage buff and you can use Limitless Mastery to buff your actives for massive DPS
• Once you get your Domain Expansion you get a full AOE massive stun which is the best support ability in the game
• Plus, Brojo cannot be stunned and is immune to all status effects
• Excellent support to bring for Infinite/Siege

• Best Trait: Eternal

Igrus (Elite Knight)
Siege Shop Secret
• Though awkward to use without SJW this is one of the best units for Infinite if you combo with SJW
• Stacks a damage buff on-kill for up to a 100% damage increase
• Also has a self-heal and deals heavy Bleed damage and synergizes with Sun Jin Wu in two ways
• First, he deals more damage to enemies above 40% HP which gets them lower faster for SJW's execute
• Second, if you also have SJW placed Igrus gains more damage and CDR
• He's not as reliant on SJW as SJW is on Igrus for speed since without SJW Igrus still gets a damage reduction buff
• That said Igrus has a much lower power potential than SJW

• Best Trait: Eternal

Qun Sha Buang (Awakened)
China's King Portal Secret
• Great damage potential with both the active sword, the self-crit-chance buff and when stacked among other units for Army of One
• That said, requires a lot of sustain so get Vampiric ASAP
• Plus, has in-built off-support capabilities since he can both slow enemies and increase the damage they take
• Excellent on Infinite/Siege

• Best Trait: Vampiric

Ichuga (Vasto Lorde)
Legend Stage Hollow Act 3 Secret
• A bit outclassed by recent Secrets but still deals great Boss damage thanks to Bleed on-hit and has a self-damage buff
• Plus, the buff also self-heals him every 15 seconds so he can take a lot of hits
• The self-sustain makes him really tanky so he can hold his own if there's no healer nearby (You still need a healer)
• Outdamages Mythics since he can deal anywhere from 10k DPS to 20k depending on if his buff and bleeds are active
• That said weaker than SJW and Igrus in a longer game since they outscale Ichuga

• Best Trait: Vampiric

Alcodes (Divine Executioner)
Legend Stage World 3 Act 1 Mythic
• One of the best Mythics in the game if not the best with a massive damage boost to bosses and elites
• All the actives deal massive damage
• Plus you get a Bleed attack every 5th hit for bonus damage
• I'd still go for Gilgamesh first but Alcodes is a decent alternative

• Best Trait: Eternal

Sea God (Storm)
Ragnarok Shop Mythic
• Excellent AOE damage for clearing crowds (non-bosses)
• Buffs himself if he's the strongest unit within his range so placement is important
• Very decent damage but not a must-have, especially because his active is bugged right now

• Best Trait: Eternal

Chaso (Blood Bath)
Banner Mythic
• Serves as a boss-killer since his stacking mark detonates for % max HP for massive single-target damage
• Also has damage reduction like Yuta/Bumta on low HP
• Underated Mythic

• Best Trait: Eternal

Kasheemu (Electric)
Banner Mythic
• Needs to be placed in the front for constant access to enemies to keep up his damage buff
• Scales with attack speed from traits and buffs due to the bonus damage on every 5th attack
• Overall can ramp up damage and be one of the best Mythics in the game
• Best Trait: Vampiric

Happyolyta (Warrior Queen)
Banner Mythic
• Great damage with her actives and you get an aura attack speed buff for off-Support and team utility
• Plus she boosts ally damage in the aura when she defeats an enemy
• You want her on the field dealing damage and buffing allies so Vampiric works great for self-sustain
• I don't recommend Eternal so that you can spread the Aura where you need it with 3 placements

• Best Trait: Vampiric

Arimo (Kajuka)
Raid 2nd Map Act 3
• A powerful Mythic alternative to the Paradox and Secret units
• Self-buffs damage for every unit you place near him and also has a crit chance
• Plus the Quinque modes and the actives deal excellent DPS

• Best Trait: Eternal

Juzu (EVO)
Raid Shop Mythic
• Juzu's EVO is pretty good making it one of the better Mythics with Bleed chance, crit chance and boosted crits on Bleeding units
• Synergizes slightly with Kaneki since he deals bonus damage on Bleeding units
• Works best with Vampiric both for self-sustain and so you can spread the Bleed around with multiple placements instead of having only one

• Best Trait: Vampiric

B-Tier DPS

B-Tier DPS Units Ranking Notes

Betu (Parade)
Banner Mythic
• The Dragon and his actives deal such great damage that he's one of the better Mythics in the game
• He also self-buffs and self-sustains with his built-in heal
• And as a cherry on top you also have some off-support as he reduces enemy damage within his range making your units tanky

• Best Trait: Eternal

Kirrua (Godspeed)
Banner Mythic
• Has both stuns on attack and marks enemies to take more damage from all sources for excellent support potential
• That said he also deals great DPS so he's a DPS/Support hybrid
• This is due to high attack speed that scales really well with his Godspeed self buff on every 8th attack to gain damage and more CDR for massive DPS

• Best Trait: Eternal

Brolu (Super)
Banner Mythic
• One of the better Mythics in the game for AOE
• Takes a while to get going since he's a stack-based unit that buffs his own damage on-kill
• You'll need 25 kills to reach the threshold for Unstable Power which doubles all the damage buffs
• With his base moves this makes him deal massive AOE damage and some of the best AOE DPS in the game
• He's not S-Tier though because Unstable Power has a 30-second cooldown
• Amazing for Infinite/Siege

• Best Trait: Eternal

Tuji (Heavenly Pact)
Banner Mythic
• Very simple but effective DPS unit that works well in most modes focusing on immunity to enemy ability-based damage
• Plus he gets more damage to enemies with active buffs and a damage burst every 4th attack that synergizes with attack speed traits & buffs

• Best Trait: Eternal

Joegu (Volcanic)
Banner Mythic
• A decent alternative AOE DPS unit if you don't have the meta units
• The actives and burn deal impressive damage
• Plus you get a bit of slowing for off-support potential
• Great to use until you get higher tier units

• Best Trait: Vampiric

Ciel (Super)
Banner Mythic
• Really easy to EVO and I recommend you EVO him first
• Viable DPS across all upgrade levels stacking damage and HP on kill
• He even self-heals and buffs his speed at max stacks which is pretty good
• That said, what makes him really strong is that he becomes Full AOE on upgrade
• Overall, the best beginner unit in the game that I would rush to EVO outclassed only by Meta, S-Tiers and some A-Tiers

• Best Trait: Vampiric

Ulquiarro (Murcielago)
Banner Mythic
• Ulquiarro is a slow-type support with his Fear effect that reduces movement speed by 40% in an AOE every 8 kills
• He's also very tanky because both hitting enemies with Fear and his High Speed Regeneration passive actually heal
• You want to keep him above 80% for a damage buff too so he's a Support DPS hybrid leaning toward the Support side more

• Best Trait: Eternal

C-Tier DPS

C-Tier DPS Units Ranking Notes

Bacardi (Gambler)
Banner Mythic
• Fever Rush would be better if it activated more regularly or if it was more powerful
• Lucky Streak is pretty good though with his AOE skills now that it has been fixed
• Still, Bacardi isn't as reliable as higher-tier DPS units since even when you win on the RNG, the DPS increase isn't that impactful

• Best Trait: Eternal

The Hollow (Flames)
Battlepass (Tier 50) Mythic
• Decent when stacked with a ton of damage buffs with Fire Monk
• Plus, has a self-sustain feature that goes well with Vampiric thus reducing the need for a healer
• But overall not the best DPS unit

• Best Trait: Vampiric

Eryu (Antithesis)
Banner Mythic
• Eryu's passives are all pretty good even though he suffered from some nerfs
• He's still overall usable outputting decent damage from the backline

• Best Trait: Eternal

Itochi (Eternal Flame)
Banner Mythic
• Not the best DPS unit since the Escape passive doesn't trigger that often if you heal your units well
• Plus it's not that powerful and triggers only once per wave
• That said the DPS is quite decent

• Best Trait: Eternal

Freezo
Banner Mythic
• Decent self-buff skill but the main DPS comes from Explosive Aura
• This makes Freezo deal a ton of full AOE dps around him and apply Burn
• He would be A-Tier if both his self buff and AOE burst didn't have long cooldowns

• Best Trait: Eternal

Chae-In (Light)
Banner Mythic
• Has okay DPS when starting waves due to her passive
• Then becomes weaker and offers no utility
• Got buffed but still isn't the best unit though she's better than most D-Tiers

• Best Trait: Eternal

Sky (Enhanced)
Battle Pass Level 25 Exclusive
• You want to place him in the front since he gains stacks on-hit and when being hit
• On max stacks he gets a massive damage and attack speed/CDR buff for 12 seconds and resets stacks
• That said he's really slow to get going and outside of Infinite he's really awkward to play requiring a lot of support and setup which just isn't worth it

• Best Trait: Eternal

Seth (One-Winged)
Battle Pass Level 50 Exclusive
• Decent DPS alternative if you don't have better units
• He doubles up on skills for some nice burst damage but the cooldown is too long
• He also relies on being low HP for max DPS due to his passive but he doesn't have Lifesteal like SJW so he's highly reliant on a healer
• Overall can be situationally good but he's not as reliable as other DPS units since you have to get him low and then heal him

• Best Trait: Eternal

Melio (Wrath)
Banner Mythic
• Deals decent DPS but doesn't bring much utility otherwise
• I would Evo Ciel or Meliodas as a beginner since they will carry you if you cannot get higher-tier DPS units

• Best Trait: Vampiric

D-Tier DPS

D-Tier DPS Units Ranking Notes

Ohma (EVO)
Valentine Shop
• An okay DPS unit that scales damage and attack speed the more it gets hit and the more it drops below 60%
• Overall not reliable and awkward to use

• Best Trait: Vampiric

Natzo (Lightning)
Valentine Shop
• A great starter unit that deals excellent Burn damage, scales with other sources of Burn and also self-heals if you stack the Burn passive
• Brilliant Flames applies stack on a single target that bursts into AOE damage on 3 stacks
• Overall a beginner mix of single and AOE damage that you can use as a starter

• Best Trait: Eternal

Megomun (Explosion)
Early Access+ or AFK Chamber Exclusive
• Really good unit for beginners since she's easy to get in the AFK chamber and EVO
• Massive burst damage with the explosion
• That said not the best later since the explosion's cooldown is massive

• Best Trait: Vampiric

S-Tier Support

S-Tier Support Units Ranking Notes

Executioner (Awakened)
BattlePass Mythic
• Amazing DPS for a support unit
• Executioner is great if you want a mix of a healing and status-based support
• This means you'll get both heals and stuns and excellent DPS
• With a lot of self-sustaining units in Ragnarok, Executioner might be better than Oreheme because you don't need as many heals

• Best Trait: Vampiric

Brojo (Six Eyes)
JJK Portal Secret
• Brojo is the best DPS/Support in the game dealing excellent damage but also slowing and stunning enemies

• Best Trait: Eternal

Idol (Pop)
Banner Mythic
• One of the best units for your healer slot since she has an AOE heal
• The heal also buffs damage and attack cooldowns for an impressive DPS boost inside of her range
• That said don't use her as a starter and place her later
• Buffs don't stack but the duration does
• This is important because her Evo passive Encore extends the buff on buffed unit who gets a kill
• Goes best with Angelic Trait

• Best Trait: Angelic

Oreheme
Banner Mythic
• The best healer in the game if we're talking just raw healing
• Though Idol is sometimes better due to the damage buff
• Oreheme isn't need in all modes but she's really good when you need a full healer
• Goes best with Blessing Trait

• Best Trait: Eternal

Ulquiarro (Murcielago)
Banner Mythic
• Ulquiarro is a slow-type support with his Fear effect that reduces movement speed by 40% in an AOE every 8 kills
• He's also very tanky because both hitting enemies with Fear and his High Speed Regeneration passive actually heal
• You want to keep him above 80% for a damage buff too so he's a Support DPS hybrid leaning toward the Support side more

• Best Trait: Eternal

Kirrua (Godspeed)
Banner Mythic
• Has both stuns on attack and marks enemies to take more damage from all sources for excellent support potential
• That said he also deals great DPS so he's a DPS/Support hybrid
• This is due to high attack speed that scales really well with his Godspeed self buff on every 8th attack to gain damage and more CDR for massive DPS

• Best Trait: Eternal

A-Tier Support

A-Tier Support Units Ranking Notes

The Honored One (Blessed)
Ragnarok Shop Mythic
• A tank DPS/Support unit if you can place him well away from the initial wave of enemies so that he can proc meditation regularly
• If you do, meditation both buffs his damage and gives him more HP that goes well with his innate block ability
• Also has supporting abilities with the 25% damage reduction on allies that goes well with Angelic

• Best Trait: Vampiric or Angelic

Steel
Banner Mythic
• Steel is a tank unit that supports your team by drawing attention away and stalling enemies so that your DPS units can kill them
• Overall he's not needed in every mode but he's a pretty useful support unit
• Plus he shields and damage buffs your units which is really good

• Best Trait: Eternal

Amon (EVO)
Raid Shop Mythic
• A unit meant for tanking and slowing enemies for the early and mid-game but with no team utility like Steel
• Not really the best late-game since you have other units that deal better damage while still having better supporting options

• Best Trait: Vampiric

Asto (Devil)
Banner Mythic
• Great if you don't have better DPS/status effect support hybrid options like Kirrua and Ulquiarro
• Offers decent damage and good team utility
• The status effect supports in S-Tier are better support wise but Asto is still an amazing off-DPS

• Best Trait: Vampiric

Shadow Vampire
AFK Chamber
• Has decent utility and is easy to get via the AFK chamber
• Deals decent DPS with The World though it's unreliable at 40% of the time on-hit
• But the status effect is pretty decent so he's still worth running if you don't have better options
• Really easy to EVO so a great beginner unit

• Best Trait: Eternal

Sakura
Banner Epic
• A great choice if you need a support early

• Best Trait: Eternal

Anime Paradox Farming Guide (For Everything)

Here are some tips for farming Gems and other materials:

  • Trait Rerolls: Battlepass with free and premium, Milestone Leveling, Infinite Castle, Achievements, 3 every hour in Gold Shop, Exchangeable in Raid Shop and Siege Shop.
  • Gem Farming: I recommend farming Infinite and resetting on Wave 6 for 50 gems every 1:20 minutes.
  • Story Mode Nightmare: This is a great grinding method for account EXP, unit EXP, food, Gems and Gold.
  • Evo Materials: You can buy Essences from the Merchant using gold every hour. Also, complete Challenges for more. Lastly, you can craft other Essences using Green Essence you farm.
  • Legend Stage: The Ichigo stage is also a good place to farm Gems, Gold, EXP, Food and Green Essence with 2% to get Ichigo at around 4 minutes and 20 seconds completion time.

That's it for my Anime Paradox unit tier list and guide. Feel free to check out our Anime Paradox codes article for a bunch of free rewards.
