Genshin Impact Version 2.1 Coming September 1


Version 2.1 of miHoYo's Genshin Impact, "Floating World Under the Moonlight," will make its debut on September 1, 2021.

This update continues the story of the Traveler, the Electro Archon, different factions, and the people of Inazuma. Along the way, players can pay a visit to Watatsumi Island and Seirai Island. Boss enemies like the Hydro Hypostasis, Thunder Manifestation, and Trounce Domain Boss Signora will also make their appearance.

Also joining the game are the playable nazuma characters Raiden Shogun, Sangonomiya Kokomi, and Kujou Sara. The Raiden Shogun will join as a five-star Electro polearm user, while the Divine Priestess of Watatsumi Island Sangonomiya Kokomiis is another five-star character. Kujou Sara, who serves as a general of the Tenryou Commission, can dish out solid Electro ranged attacks with herbow and can provide buffs. Note that Story Quests for the Raiden Shogun and Kokomi will also be available.

Fishing will also be introduced with this version of the game across Teyvat. Each bounty can be used for fish meat, or can also be exchanged for rewards and new fishing rods from the Fishing Association. The Pool of Sapphire Grace, a new furnishing added to the Serenitea Pot system, will also allow players to raise Ornamental Fish.

Finally, the first crossover character will make her appearance in this update. Hailing from the Horizon Zero Dawn series, the "Savior From Another World" Aloy will join as a free five-star character.

Halo Infinite will continue the story of series mainstay Master Chief, with the violent Brute-led mercenary organization the Banished appearing as an enemy threat. The soundtrack of the title is being done in collaboration with Gareth Coker, Curtis Schweitzer, and Joel Corelitz, with Joel Yarger serving as supervisor.

The game will come out for the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in late 2021. The title will support both cross-platform play and cross-platform save progression.

Metroid Dread "Another Glimpse of Dread" Trailer Released


Longtime Metroid fans can learn why bounty hunter Samus is wearing a new suit in her latest entry with the latest trailer for Nintendo's Metroid Dread.

Originally making its appearance in Metroid Fusion for the Game Boy Advance, the X Parasite is a dangerous life form that possesses the ability to mimic its prey. Although it was thought to be extinct, the Galactic Federation has got word from a transmission that suggests otherwise. To deal with this threat, seven different Extraplanetary Multiform Mobile Identifier Robots (or E.M.M.I.s for short) were sent out to investigate the planet ZDR. However, communication with these robots soon ceased.

Metroid Dread – Another Glimpse of Dread – Nintendo Switch

Note that this trailer will be followed up with a second trailer that sheds more light on August 27, 2021.

Metroid Dread will have to contend with these E.M.M.I. robots by hiding, reducing the amount of noise that she makes, and using the Phantom Cloak. If spotted, players must perform a melee counter and escape, lest they face death.

The final release of the game will come out for the Nintendo Switch on October 8, 2021.

Originally heard in the original trailer for Red Dead Online's Blood Money, Rockstar Games has released the single Letter from Bluewater Man by the in-game character Bluewater John.

This exclusive track was written and performed by blues guitarist Christone "Kingfish" Ingram. With one of his earliest influences being Muddy Waters, he has previously collaborated with Eric Gales, Buddy Guy and Keb Mo in different recordings.His latest album, "662," was designed to represent the whole north Mississippi Delta and pays tribute to his home in Clarksdale, Mississippi.

Coming in at number 9 in the Galactic Superhero Ranking, see Gold Joe in action with the latest trailer for Grasshopper Manufacture's No More Heroes 3.

In this title, the evil Prince FU (also known as Jess Baptise VI) and his alien assassins are on a mission to conquer Earth, with only the protagonist Travis Touchdown and his friends standing between them and victory. No matter what happens, the battle will be fought in Travis' hometown of Santa Destroy.

No More Heroes 3 will also let players fight with the Death Glove, which features its own Skill Tree that gives players the chance to try out different chip combinations. 12 suplex techniques, a hyper-powered mech suit, and the Slash Reel will also come in handy while in combat.

Shardpunk: Verminfall Demo Now Available


Turn-based tactical fans can sink their teeth into today's demo for Clockwork Pile and Retrovibe's Shardpunk: Verminfall.

Set in a steampunk world, this tactical squad-based survival strategy game tasks players with planning fights, resting at camps, juggling resources, and seeking out the safety of bunkers. Throughout it all, players are constantly on the run from swarms of heavily armed – and vicious – mutated rats in what is being called The Rat Swarm. After laying siege to The Empire's Capital, a number of city-dwellers are depending on you for survival.

All the guns in Shardpunk: Verminfall are energy-based, with a cooldown system in place for when things get a little too heated. Players will also be tasked with figuring out exactly how they'll deploy their fusion cores, along with a high amount of flexibility when putting together your crew of survivors.

Deathloop Deep Dive Released


Released during QuakeCon 2021 earlier today, take a deep dive into Arkane Lyon and Bethesda Softworks' Deathloop with the latest video feature for the title.

Developers Dinga Bakaba, Dana Nightingale, and Bennett Smith all sat down with the title to go over the title's PVP, Colt's campaign, and the multiplayer gameplay with Colt's rival assassin Julianna Blake.

Deep Dive into DEATHLOOP with Arkane Lyon

Combining elements of Dishonored and Prey, Deathloop has been designed to give players the abilities (such as guns, melee attacks, environmental means, or even non-lethal options) needed to complete the "perfect loop." To spice things up, the title features a multiplayer aspect that lets a second player fill in the shoes of agent Julianna, who must take down Colt.

NHL 22 Coming October 15


Designed to be the most realistic hockey experience to date, get ready to hit the ice when EA Sports' NHL 22 makes its debut on October 15, 2021.

Powered by the Frostbite engine, this sports game will feature a number of visual upgrades. Player likenesses have been overhauled, and all-new eye animations that track and react to the action around them have been included.

New to this release are Superstar X-Factor abilities, which allows players to unleash unique player abilities that make stars feel like stars. "Make it Snappy," "Quick Pick," and "Tape to Tape" are just some of the ways players will be able to be ready for anything.

Call of Duty: Vanguard Reveal Trailer Released


Soldiers will be able to take on a pivotal role and change the face of history with the release of Sledgehammer Games and Activision's Call of Duty: Vanguard later this year.

Set in World War II, the single-player campaign of this title will feature an interweaving story of the multinational heroes that have formed Task Force One. Members of its ranks include the playable characters Private Lucas Riggs, Sergeant Arthur Kingsley, Lieutenant Wade Jackson, and Lieutenant Polina Petrova. Players will engage enemies across the Eastern and Western Fronts of Europe, along with the Pacific and North Africa, as they experience four major theatres of war.

Its multiplayer mode will include 20 maps at launch, which includes 16 built for core gameplay. An advanced Gunsmith and Caliber system that brings immersive and reactive environments to players will make an appearance. Also included in the next iteration of the 2v2 Gunfight mode first introduced in Modern Warfare: Champion Hill.

Finally, an all-new Zombies game mode primarily developed by Treyarch Studios will make an appearance. For longtime fans of the series, it will continue and intertwine with the Dark Aether story.

New B.I.O.T.A. Demo Now Available


See the 4-color palettes and 8-bit visuals of small bros and Retrovibe's B.I.O.T.A. firsthand with today's free demo of the game.

Set in the year 21XX, players will command the Gemini 2 team as they set out to investigate the Frontier Horizon mining colony on an isolated asteroid, which has ceased all communication.

Once there, this unit learns of "the agent," which can interact with every element of an ecosystem and can take full control of organisms. Players will have to fight more than 40 vicious degenerated monsters like mutated hornets, armed shield sentries, and lethal infecting xenoshifters.

Although the game looks retro, this MetroidVania features modern conveniences like saving anywhere and swapping palettes any time. Players will also have a number of tools at their disposal, including a submarine, a mech, a shuttle, and even the mythical Pegasus.
