Best SMG Warzone Pacific: the top SMGs in Season 2 Reloaded

Looking for the best SMGs in Warzone Pacific? Caldera, the new Warzone map, has completely changed the way the battle royale game is played. Compared to Verdansk's large open spaces spread throughout the map, Caldera is much tighter overall, packing each area with unique points of interest to keep things interesting. As a result, long range battles aren't as prevalent, causing weapons like the best assault rifles and SMGs to dominate the meta.

If you're still trying to pick off enemies from a distance using the best snipers, you need to have a reliable secondary weapon like the best SMGs in Warzone Pacific to immediately blast any flankers away. Don't forget to check out our best Warzone loadout guide to see which attachments you need to build these game-breaking setups.

Call of Duty Warzone Pacific Season 2 Reloaded introduces one of the biggest changes we've seen in the game for some time. The devs have merged the Vanguard Royale and Battle Royale playlists together, creating one playlist which includes weapons from Modern Warfare, Black Ops Cold War, and Vanguard. Players now have free reign to pick their favourite weapons through the years instead of picking the newest guns in the game.

UK teens arrested in connection with Lapsus$ Microsoft hacks

Metropolitan Police has reportedly arrested seven teenagers in the UK connected to Lapsus$, the extortionist cyber-crime group that recently hacked Microsoft. According to the BBC, the gang's suspected ringleader is a 16-year-old boy from Oxford who has allegedly made $14 million by extorting the likes of Nvidia and Ubisoft.

The school-aged swindler, who goes by the online monikers "White" or "Breachbase", was seemingly doxxed after a disagreement with business partners. While the teen is situated in Oxford, England and attends a special educational school in the area, it's believed that his cybercrime counterparts are based in South America.

The tech-savvy 16-year-old has allegedly made 300 bitcoin (roughly $13 million) through his precarious pastime, but his parents say they were unaware of his actions until recently. The boy's father also told the BBC that he thought he was "playing video games", but now says he'll "try to stop him from going on computers."

Genshin Impact 2.7 could feature a banner of a long-rumoured character

It looks like a long-awaited Genshin Impact character called Yelan could be making her debut in update 2.7. So it goes with the anime game, future content leaks have once again surfaced. There are potential spoilers ahead in this story, so consider this your warning.

Twitter account Lumie shares that Yelan should be the first banner of Genshin Impact's 2.7 update and that she remains a five-star character. The gacha game's 2.6 update launches on March 30, so Yelan could be a while away yet. Mihoyo hasn't confirmed the leak at the time of writing, so bear that in mind. That said, The developer has been revealing characters one update early since last year, so Yelan could be unveiled sooner rather than later if the datamine is to be believed.

Lumie also shares that Kuki Shinobu will be the second new banner of patch 2.7. While Mihoyo hasn't confirmed this one either, Shinobu has already appeared in Genshin Impact. As we explain in our Genshin Impact Kuki Shinobu guide, the four-star character is Arataki Itto's deputy. When Mihoyo revealed Itto last year, the developer fleshed out his character with quotes from Shinobu asking people to contact them if Itto got into trouble.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands system requirements – Borderlands 3 deja vu

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands needs less Borderlands and more DnD, but we're getting more of the same from a technical standpoint when it comes to the Tiny Tina's Wonderlands system requirements. Chances are if your gaming PC can run Borderlands 3, it should be able to play 2K's latest without much issue, but there's a slight jump in the minimum specs.

The first difference is that you'll need to run at least Windows 10 on the latest service pack, as the developers don't mention Windows 7 support at all. The second is a higher barrier to entry, as your rig needs to pack either an AMD Radeon RX 470 or Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 - two generations newer than Borderlands 3's GPU requirements. This isn't ideal in a climate where it's difficult to upgrade your graphics card, but it's still quite modest.

Other than these changes, the two games ask for identical specifications: at least a ten-year-old gaming CPU, 6GB of RAM, and 75GB of storage space. The developers don't specifically recommend that you put the game on one of the best SSDs for gaming, but speedier loading times certainly won't hurt.

Best sniper Warzone Pacific: the best sniper rifle Season 2 Reloaded

Want to know what the best sniper rifle is in Warzone Pacific? There are plenty of options to pick from in the battle royale game, but there's nothing quite as satisfying as a sniper rifle. While this weapon type used to be a certain pick for players back when Verdansk was around, that hasn't been the case since new Warzone map was introduced. That's not to say sniping is dead, far from it, but you do have to think carefully about your surroundings before calling in the best Warzone loadouts.

The latest Warzone Pacific Season 2 Reloaded update drastically changes the playlists, merging Vanguard Royale and Battle Royale into one. This means that every weapon from Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War can be used in all modes. As a result, you should avoid picking the Vanguard sniper rifles as they cannot compete with the best Warzone snipers.

There are a lot of factors to consider, including which attachments you choose to equip your chosen Warzone sniper with, how confident you are at judging travel time, and what your peeking skills are like. We've analysed the lot to give you the definitive answer on which Warzone Pacific sniper is best for your playing style.

League of Legends patch 12.6 notes – Hecarim nerfs, Anima Squad skins

The League of Legends updates are coming thick and fast. LoL patch 12.5 has hit the live server, introducing a wonderful selection of bee-inspired skins to the MOBA. Don't bee-lieve for one second, though, that's all we got. Riot has tweaked Master Yi and Seraphine with some solid changes, while several other LoL champs got some quality-of-life adjustments, too.

Now, though, it's time to look toward LoL patch 12.6. We're sticking with the animal theme this time around as the new Anima Squad skins have hit the PBE. If you've been out of the loop, a few champions - such as Vayne, Miss Fortune, and Jinx - are getting some punky skins themed around bats, bunnies, cats, and more. You can check out the in-game clips of these in action and their splash art in the skins section below.

We're a good bit into the patch cycle, so have a decent idea about what champion changes are coming our way. Keep checking in, though, as we'll keep this post regularly updated.

Destiny 2: what is the Nightfall weapon this week?

Want to know what this week's Destiny 2 Nightfall weapon is? Each week you've got a chance at a different weapon for completing Nightfall Strikes, and ever since Season of the Lost, fan-favourite legacy weapons from the original Destiny have been added to the rotation. Two new weapons were introduced into the pool in Season of the Risen, so it's more important than ever to know in advance the Nightfall weapon schedule.

In case you don't know what the Destiny 2 Nightfall weapon means, Nightfall: The Ordeal is a playlist available in the Vanguard menu, alongside the basic Strike playlist. Each week, a different Strike is chosen as the Nightfall, and offered in five escalating difficulties, with harder enemies, challenging modifiers, and enemy power levels cranking up.

The coveted Nightfall weapons have a chance to drop from any Nightfall Strike difficulty, but it's far more likely at higher levels. Your best bet for farming each week's Nightfall weapon is to set the Strike to Master difficulty, according to YouTuber Aztecross. You should also note that there's no automatic matchmaking above Hero difficulty, however, so you'll need to get a squad together.

I felt my inner-child squeal out when Lego Bricktales was announced during last night's Future Games Show. They took my favourite part of Lego, building stuff, and turned the whole thing into a physics-based puzzle game, where you build creations to solve problems.

The premise is your grandfather, who just happens to own an amusement park, needs your help getting all the health and safety requirements above board. Because of some complicated Lego lore reasons, the only way to save the park is by helping people all around the world. How do you do that? By building increasingly complex contraptions of course. Soul Hackers 2 Raven Kaburagi Characters

Atlus has updated the Soul Hackers 2 website to include character biographies for Raven and Kaburagi. These characters are associated with Arrow, one of several party members that will accompany protagonist Ringo throughout her journey. Alongside the individual character biographies, Atlus has shared the Japanese voice actors for these particular characters. Like with Zenon and Iron Mask, details concerning these characters do delve into story spoilers. Those looking to avoid potential spoilers may want to avoid reading beyond this point.

You can take a look at the Soul Hackers 2 renders for Raven and Kaburagi below.

[gallery columns="2" link="file" ids="921620,921621"]

Raven (CV: Kenji Hamada) is a former agent of the Yatagarasu organization. He was a top-class Devil Summoner but has since retired. Raven now works at an orphanage, as he is particularly sociable and loves children. Caring and always one to approach a situation with a level of coolness, he is a mentor to Arrow. Ringo and the others will often come to him to receive advice as they dive deeper into the surrounding mystery.

Kaburagi (CV: Ryouta Osaka) is an agent of the Phantom Society. Cheerful and dedicated to his friends, Kaburagi has a strong sense of justice. However, as part of a mission, he killed Arrow. There seems to be a deeper connection between Arrow and Kaburagi than has been revealed.

Previously, Atlus has shared other biographies and a breakdown of characters and organizations that will appear in Soul Hackers 2. These include the Yatagarasu organization and the Phantom Society. Both organizations will play an important part in the overarching narrative.

Soul Hackers 2 releases for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on August 25, 2022 in Japan and globally on August 26, 2022.

Crimesight pre-launch free demo weekend play session release date April 12 2022

The upcoming multiplayer mystery-solving Konami game Crimesight will hold a free demo event on April 9 and 10, 2022. Interested players can register for the planned "Pre-launch Play Session" ahead of the full release date of Crimesight on April 14, 2022.

Konami bills Crimesight as a "PvP mystery simulation game." It takes place in future London, where an AI called Foresight has developed the ability to predict crime, allowing authorities to prevent 90% of worldwide criminal activity. Within the Foresight system is another AI called Sherlock, named after the fictional ace detective. Working against Foresight to stymie the authorities' coverage is a new, upstart criminal mind, codenamed "Moriarty" after Sherlock's nemesis. The two AIs face off in their attempts to carry out and solve the perfect murder.

Check out the Crimesight release date announcement trailer below.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BnO51gfZ_R0

In practice, Crimesight involves two-to-four players, with the ability to control several "avatar" NPCs spread throughout the stage. During a match, one random avatar is designated as the "Target" and another the "Killer." Players on the Moriarty team must arrange the situation so that the Killer avatar is given the opportunity to murder the target. That involves ensuring the Killer has a weapon and is alone with the Target in a room.

Meanwhile, players on the Sherlock team must prevent the kill from taking place by gathering clues and making deductions based on available information. The victor is determined when either the Sherlock team is able to defend the Target and unmask the Killer, or when the Moriarty team manages to make the kill.

Check out some more detailed gameplay, with developer commentary and English subtitles, from the Crimesight closed beta test held in 2021.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dCLdfkGMq48

Players interested in participating in the free Crimesight demo can sign up to join the pre-launch play session by following the official Twitter account, joining the game's Discord server, and filling out the application form on the official website. The application period will last until April 7, 2022.

Monster Hunter Rise Blossom Armor layered on Nintendo Switch

The final Monster Hunter Rise event quest before the release of Sunbreak is available and gives the Blossom Armor set. Hunters can take on the "Memories of That Day" event quest via Senri the Mailman. The event quest will task players with hunting down the three monsters that originally appeared in the demo version.

"Memories of That Day" is an HR 4 event quest. Once downloaded from Senri the Mailman in the Steelworks area of Kamura Village, players can take on the quest from the Gathering Hub. The quest takes place in the Shrine Ruins area and requires you to hunt down the Great Izuchi, Mizutsune, and Magnamalo. These three monsters were the hunting targets of the Monster Hunter Rise demo version that appeared back in March 2021.

https://twitter.com/monsterhunter/status/1507145256617357315?s=20&t=qMCzizNV8qTkTIkHj3jCXw

Upon completing the event quest, players will unlock the Blossom layered armor set for Monster Hunter Rise. The Blossom Armor set originally appeared in Monster Hunter: World as part of a special reward during the annual Spring Blossom Fest event. Unlike other throwback armor sets like the Origin or Guild Cross sets, however, it will be purely cosmetic.

The new event quest and armor set come just one day before the one-year anniversary of Monster Hunter Rise's release. The game's major expansion, Sunbreak, is meanwhile set to release on June 30, 2022. As such, Capcom stated during a recent broadcast that "Memories of That Day" would be the last event quest to appear before the release of Sunbreak.

Monster Hunter Rise is available to play on the Nintendo Switch and PC, and the Blossom Armor set is available for both platforms.
