Stardew Valley mod lets you build a whole farming empire

A new addition to the ever-growing list of Stardew Valley mods lets you expand the farming game into an industrial-scale farming empire sim. Stardew Valley lets you create the farm of your dreams, but if you've ever wanted to make your farm just that little bit bigger (or, well, quite a lot bigger) then you're in luck, thanks to this user-created update for the life game.

The Stardew Realty mod, by mod maker Prism 99 (who goes by klatuprism on Nexus Mods), takes the basics of previous Farm Expansion mods that allowed users to slightly extend the size of their plot of land. The mod adds a total of ten additional plots of land to the backwoods area found over to the left hand side of the map.

In the initial version of the mod, the land is made available from the get-go for free so players can test the expansion out and see how it works. Prism says that their long-term plan is to eventually release four content packs with additional expansions that will show up as a for sale sign on a notice board in Pelican Town. As plots show up, players will be able to invest in expanding their farming property.

FFXIV fan video pays tribute to iconic LOTR meme creator

A new FFXIV fan video pays tribute to one of the most iconic and beloved Lord of the Rings memes in Square Enix's MMORPG, after the meme's creator passed away in March. If you were on the Internet in the mid-2000s, you will almost certainly be very familiar with Erwin 'Tron' Beekveld's Tolkien-themed earworm "They're taking the Hobbits to Isengard" - first uploaded as a video to the Albino Blacksheep website in August 2005.

The original video remixes several scenes from the second Lord of the Rings movie, The Two Towers, into an unreasonably catchy dance anthem. As the title suggests, it centres on Orlando Bloom's character Legolas shouting, "They're taking the Hobbits to Isengard!" The two-minute video gained huge popularity online, reaching the point where LOTR director Peter Jackson uploaded a video of Bloom singing along to the track.

Now, FFXIV creators Plam & Switch have created a Final Fantasy XIV spin on the video, reimagining it as "They're taking the Lalas to Garlemald." The video features a full re-imagining of the song and its video made in the multiplayer game. As you might have guessed, it replaces the Hobbits with Final Fantasy's diminutive Lalafell, and Isengard with Imperial homeland Garlemald. You can watch it on their YouTube channel, or down below - though be warned that the footage includes clips from the climax of the base A Realm Reborn campaign, as well as some minor Endwalker snippets.

Re-Volt is a remote control car racing game released in 1999 to mixed reviews, but 23 years later there's still a community devoted to it. After a nine year absence, the game has now returned to Steam and GOG. It's apparently in less than ideal condition, but the community already have fixes for that.

Zenless Zone Zero has begun its closed beta. If you don't know the name, it's Hoyoverse's upcoming free-to-play action-RPG which draws on their experience making Genshin Impact (and its many antecedents) but places those combat and RPG systems within a roguelike structure. Because it's now in closed beta, the internet is covered in videos showing it in action, and its action looks nice.

Strangereal

Most of Bandai Namco's Ace Combat series is set in its own entirely fictional setting called Strangereal. A place of multiple continents, a variety of nations and cultures, and many, many wars, its timeline isn't too easy to grasp from the outside. But don't worry, Nugget is here to help. In a new video series, the new puppet mascot for Ace Combat explains Strangereal - and thus Ace Combat - history.

First introduced on video in April 2022, Nugget is a little chick, named after the slang term for rookie fighter pilots. Now Nugget is the official YouTuber for the Ace Combat official channel. Now Nugget's first presentation focuses on making Ace Combat history and Strangereal a little more "real" to fans new and old.

The first subject of Nugget's "Strangereal World Setting Commentary" focuses on 2001's Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies. English subtitles are available via closed captions.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pnTFCyMaPNU

Nugget introduces the series setting by framing it from the perspective of the latest entry, Ace Combat 7: Skies UnknownAC7 takes place in 2019 (of the game timeline), but AC04 is set in 2003-2005. Strangereal's modern history hinges on the arrival of the Ulysses Comet, an asteroid found to be on a collision course with Earth. To face the threat, many nations cooperated to build the superweapon Stonehenge, a massive railgun battery. Stonehenge destroyed many incoming comet fragments, but those that got through wrought havoc upon the continent of Usea. The chaos of the disaster caused refugee surges, economic crises, and eventually prompted a new war.

Ace Combat history calls Ace Combat 04's central conflict, "The Continental War". During the war, the nation of Erusea fought against ISAF, an international military coalition. The player character, "Mobius 1" becomes a hero pilot of the Continental War, beating back the Erusean forces and defeating the infamous Yellow Squadron. They also destroy Stonehenge. The Eruseans had captured the facility to use as a powerful anti-aircraft defense system.

Ace Combat 7 is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Bandai Namco celebrated its 3rd birthday with Idolmaster tie-in content.

Corsair 5000x Pc Case Rgb Atx Best Cooling Performance FansChoosing the right PC case is critical to a successful build. Aside from looks, it needs to be large enough to house your components, it needs to be easy to work on, and most importantly, it needs to provide enough airflow. Plenty of glass cases look cool, but don't always meet these criteria. Fortunately, the iCUE Corsair 5000X manages to do all of this while looking good as well, making it one of the best modern cases for PC gaming. Newegg has a sale running right now that slashes the price of the Corsair iCUE 5000X from the MSRP of $214.99 down to just $109.99. This one that should not be missed if you're in the market for a new case, because the value for what you get here is tough to beat.   Flashy and functional The Corsair iCUE 5000X comes in black for this sale and is packaged with three 120mm SP RGB Elite fans, a controller for up to six RGB fans via Corsair's iCUE software, straps for cable management, plenty of spare screws needed for PC building, and ...

Nvidia Rtx 3070 Msrp Below Sale Deal Evga Xc3 UltraThe winds sure have changed for graphics card manufacturers now that the graphics card, and the PC market in general, are on a massive downswing compared to last year. All makes and models of graphics cards have not only been in stock for months now, but also for consistently better deals as time has progressed. Today's deal for this EVGA RTX 3070 XC3 Ultra is a particularly important milestone, because it's now selling below the Nvidia MSRP. For a limited time, you can pick this card up directly from EVGA plus get free shipping for $489.99 USD. This is by far the best price we've seen yet for a brand new RTX 3070, but it's only available as a limited time promotion according to EVGA.   The price is just marginally below MSRP to be sure, but this a fairly good model of the Nvidia RTX 3070. It comes in a sleek, all-black design with a triple-fan cooler to keep things cool and still relatively quiet with the EVGA factory overclocked performance. Perhaps more ...
