A Juggler's Tale is a cinematic puzzle platformer that takes players into the world of a puppet theater play that they both watch and act in. A world that is both beautiful and sinister, and draws inspiration from the tone and mood of traditional fairy tales. You play as Abby, the marionette, who tries to […]
Just in time for the spooky season, we're excited to share that Echo Generation will launch on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC on October 21! And, (drum roll please) it will be available with Xbox Game Pass on day one! Some of you may remember the supernatural world of Echo Generation from […]
So you were lucky enough to buy an elusive PlayStation 5? Wow, those things are tough to find! However, after setting up your new PS5 and downloading the best games that the console has to offer, your hard drive will quickly start running out of space. These next-gen games are massive, so we're here to show you how to upgrade your PS5 storage with this easy internal SSD and heatsink install guide.
Before we get started, you need to make sure the internal solid-state drive you're trying to install matches the PlayStation 5's requirements. From the PlayStation Support page,Sony recommends a PCI-Express Gen4x4 supported M.2 NVMe SSD (Key M) with a read speed of 5,500MB/S or faster and a capacity of 250GB to 4TB. In our past experience building PCs, we recommend storage products from Samsung or Western Digital; however, you should abide by the specifications in the graph below regardless of which model you buy.

SSDs And Heatsinks We Recommend
Sony sent us a Samsung 980 Pro (1TB) for the purpose of filming this guide, and so far, we've experienced great results. Load times seem equally as fast as the console's main hard drive, and the expanded catalog of games that I can keep downloaded on my console at any one time is awesome. If you're looking for similar results, I'd recommend purchasing a 980 Pro or one of these SSDs:
Additionally, Sony recommends installing a heatsink to your SSD to keep things from getting too hot inside the console. We recommend seeing if the solid-state drive you're buying comes in an SKU with a first-party heatsink. In our case, the Samsung 980 Pro requires a third-party heatsink (we were sent this one),but it was easy to assemble. While you can technically install the SSD by itself (we show you how to in the above video), we recommend following Sony's guidance.
In an age where the MMO juggernauts of the world have spent years establishing their communities, Amazon's New World looks to break into the long-established genre. Is it successful in its attempts? We're set to find out live over on Twitch!
Join Dan Tack at 11:30 a.m. CT for an early stream diving into his time in New World! The Jacket is set to show off his swanky class build, how his adventure has gone thus far, and answer any of your burning questions live in the chat.
For those who don't know, New World is more of a survival experience than that of a World of Warcraft or Star Wars: The Old Republic. Players will set out to hunt, cook, and gather while leveling up their characters before taking on the rest of the world. If that doesn't sound quite up your alley, fret not, as the game is divided into three different factions and allows you to battle your enemy combatants and take over more territory.
Do you enjoy livestreams? You're in luck as Game Informer is doing streams every Thursday and Friday, along with watch alongs featuring some of the biggest events in the industry. Recently, we've streamed Deathloop, the most recent Nintendo Direct, and of course, our weekly Demon's Souls Super Replay stream featuring three brave editors braving the bosses of FromSoftware and hot wings from Buffalo Wild Wings.
New World is live now for PC, but if you're still on the fence, be sure to check out Dan's extensive early look from his first day of playing the new MMORPG. If you're wanting something more gameplay-focused, check out The Jacket's time in the beta from earlier this month. Thanks for watching, and be sure to join us in the chat to get your questions answered, your jokes laughed at, and to have an even more fulfilling day.
Nintendo and Capcom have kicked off a special Monster Hunter franchise sale across Switch and 3DS, discounting several games and DLC items.
All deals listed below will remain live on the Switch and 3DS eShops until 11:59pm PT on 3rd October, falling in line with the current Nintendo Blockbuster sale which is currently offering more than 300 games at discounted prices.
Learn new abilities and movements from collected critters.
Not every Metroidvania successfully stands out from the crowd on Switch, but Sheepo hopes to do so courtesy of a rather neat mechanic for 'upgrading' your character.
The idea is that you're trying to discover and preserve varied creatures on a dying planet, and in the process inherit their abilities. The story is quite bonkers, which can often be a good thing.
Among all the talk of big games coming up, the imminent double release of Metroid Dread and the OLED Switch model, we like to consider the big questions here at Nintendo Life. Stuff that matters.
Before that, however, regular players have a themed online tournament to tackle, so far confirmed on the game's Japanese account with localised messages likely to be on the way.

One of the more intriguing announcements in Nintendo's E3 2021 Direct was the JRPG Astria Ascending. If you're a fan of the genre, Artisan Studios and Dear Villagers would like to remind you that the game hits the Nintendo eShop tomorrow.

Genshin Impact's one-year anniversary is underway, but not all players are finding it a cause for celebration. For anyone familiar with the game's community on social media or who follows some of its biggest streamers, it's been impossible to escape players' complaints about the anniversary rewards. After first review…
Steam Next Fest is coming back again, and our collective inbox here at PCGN Towers is full to bursting with press releases on games that'll be offering demos as part of the event. We can't possibly cover them all, but we can provide some details on when you can check in and some highlights of what will be there.
The latest edition of Steam Next Fest kicks off on October 1 at 10am PDT / 1pm EDT / 6pm BST, and will last until October 7. You'll be able to see the event here - for now, that link will take you to a page where you can set a reminder for yourself. As ever, Valve promises hundreds of free game demos, and chances to interact with or check out streams from the devs.
So what's gonna be there? You'll get the chance to play the futuristic open-world boss rush of Aztech Forgotten Gods, the bottle rocket Kerbal Space Program antics of Next Space Rebels, and the lovely platformer Lil Gator Game. There's also the gorgeous Metroidvania Aeterna Noctis, the dungeon crawler Into the Pit, and the latest in rock climbing simulation with Climber: Sky is the Limit.
Break out the biohazard gear, because DayZ has been contaminated. The latest update for the zombie survival game has added new contaminated areas, as well as a new assault rifle for handling the meat-based threats you'll encounter inside them.
The contaminated areas are covered in a sickly green gas, for which you'll need to wear protective NBC gear. Bohemia Interactive says it's given special attention to the new contaminated zones to make sure they're creepy and immersive, adding new visual and sound effects to enhance the feeling of being in a lethal environment. The zones come in two varieties: there are static areas, where you'll find high-tier loot hidden away among the clouds of gas and hordes of undead; and dynamic areas, which move around the map.
Update 1.14 also adds a new assault rifle, the bullpup pattern LE-MAS. It's a 5.56x45mm that accepts a new 25-round magazine, and it can be fired in single, burst, and fully automatic modes. To go with the new rifle, DayZ also has a new set of animations for bullpup style firearms.
Want to know what the Battlefield 2042 release date is? EA Dice's latest entry to the Battlefield series takes the game to the year 2042 - not much has changed, but the world is on the brink of war. The extreme weather conditions caused by global warming have led to thousands of deaths, collapsed economies, and broken alliances. Okay, maybe quite a lot has changed in 21 years.
Battlefield 2042 incorporates unique gameplay features which utilise the latest PC and console hardware. The treacherous weather effects aren't just a plot point either; storms and tornadoes dynamically hit busy areas on the map, forcing players to adjust to new conditions. Battlefield 2042 will be able to run on low spec hardware, but if you have a capable PC you will be able to participate in matches featuring up to 128 players.
One of the biggest changes to Battlefield 2042 comes in the form of the new specialist system, allowing players to customise their loadouts exactly the way they want. Players won't be forced to pick an underused class just to use a specific gun; instead you can choose your favourite weapon to complement your chosen specialist's unique specialty and trait. Here's everything you need to know about Battlefield 2042, including details about the upcoming open beta and the release date.
Want to know everything about fishing in New World? Fishing is one of many different trade skills in New World, and catching rare fish takes a lot of work. Sometimes a quest asks for you to catch certain types of fish. Of course, you could just buy them from the auction house, but as the famous saying goes - If you give a man a fish you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.
Teaching your character to fish opens up new possibilities, but it's more complicated than just casting a line and reeling in fish. The quality of your equipment makes rarer fish appear more frequently, and the types of bait you can attach to your fishing pole work differently depending on whether you fish near the sea, or from riverbanks and lakes.
So here is everything you need to know about fishing in New World, from how to craft better fishing poles, what each fishing pole perk does, how to get bait, and where to find fishing hotspots.
Lots of people are excited for Elden Ring. You're excited for Elden Ring, I'm excited for Elden Ring, all the old folks down at your local Spoons at 10am? Yes, this is the game they contemplate over a remarkably early cold one.
This is nothing, though. This is a terrible level of excitement in comparison to abusaad3, who is more up for Elden Ring than anyone on this planet. To prove it, they're doing a no-hit boss challenge each day in Dark Souls 3 until Elden Ring is released. This is phenomenal levels of dedication and I am very here for it.
Earlier today on the PlayStation Blog, Adam Michel (Senior Manager of Game Services Content, SIE) announced the three games PlayStation Plus members will be able to pick up for free in October 2021. Like recent past months, one title is exclusive for PS5 owners and the other two games are available to both PS4 and […]
Competitive multiplayer gaming is hugely popular today due to the thrill of competition that comes from it. Just like real sports, that competition presses players to look for ways to gain advantages over opponents. One common approach is to get a gaming PC capable of high refresh rates that's also configured with minimal system latency. However, this solution is expensive and only accounts for part of the latency equation. Establishing a quality network connection is of equal importance. At its core, networking is very complicated, though, and many of the tools available to users often go unused due to a lack of accessibility. Netduma set out to change this with its DumaOS software, which is now utilized in Netgear Nighthawk routers and provided as a subscription service via certain ISPs. Additionally, Netduma sells its own R2 gaming router with the DumaOS built in, and that's what we're reviewing today. The DumaOS is without a doubt the key selling point of the N...
I don't think I've ever reviewed a game quite as buggy, broken, and ill-considered as Away: The Survival Series. The worst part is that the idea's great on paper. Exploring a beautiful island while gliding around as a sugar glider could have been an absolute joy. Instead, this game is as short as it is disappointing. I was asked not to play the exploration mode until launch day due to an incoming day one patch, but it's still so broken that it's practically unplayable for more than a few minutes at a time. Away? Yes, you absolutely should stay away. Away: The Survival Series gets off to a promising start by introducing a family of sugar gliders. If you're not familiar with the adorable little buggers, they're gliding possums that are mostly found in certain parts of Australia. They're super cute. You play as a 6-month-old sugar glider as he follows his mother, who carries his baby sister on her back. But a vulture abducts them, so it&#...

Yet another update has gone live for the Switch version of Deemo – specifically version 1.10.0. Players can now access another batch of songs for free. When you play Final Fantasy XI, does your mouth water at the thoughts of some of the food items you're chewing on for stat boosts? If so, you're the perfect person to take part in the game's newest contest because it's all about creating a banquet formed of in-game food items, beverages, and/or ingredients for someone to […]
If you can pry yourself away from New World for a minute, you might recall that Elyon was also originally planned to launch this week, and it turns out to have been a very, very good thing for the game that it delayed another month to October 20th. But you'll also recall that Bluehole and […]

It's been a bit of a good week for Emile Smith-Rowe. After putting Tottenham to the sword with an easy victory at the weekend, Arsenal's latest wonderkid finds a place in the big league, with a spot in FIFA 22's TOTW #2. He's joined by some massive names of the game too - like Real's Karim Benzema who earns a place thanks to a double. The less said about the Champions League effort of his teammates, the better though.
