PCGamesN Sunday, May 22, 2022 2:14 PM  The Rainbow Six Siege Vector Glare release date is just around the corner, and with it, players can expect a new operator from Belgium, a dedicated team deathmatch map, a shooting range, and plenty of additional quality of life changes coming to the multiplayer game. The new operator is called Sens. He's an attacker with a gadget that will help the team push into the site and make some audacious executes. His R.O.U. Projector System gadget is a throwable wheel that creates a wall of light along its path. This wall of light can't be seen through normally, but certain gadgets - like Warden's Smart Glasses and bulletproof cams - will allow full visibility for whoever's using them. It's basically a much more precise alternative to throwing out smoke grenades, and will probably become a powerful tool for teams willing to take big risks to get the objective planted. This launch is unique among recent seasons in that the new operator, Sens, is going to be available in competitive play right from day one, so expect to see some pro clips of Sens shortly after the Vector Glare release date. PCGamesN Sunday, May 22, 2022 12:34 PM  While the fighting game's alpha is still going on, a number of possible new MultiVersus leaks datamined from the game's files seem to point towards Rick and Morty, Black Adam, and even LeBron James for the fighter roster - including the infamous Pickle Rick. MultiVersus could be one of the best games like Smash Bros on PC when it hits open beta in July, and many are enjoying the alpha playtest going on right now. Some players have dug around in the alpha's files and have datamined a number of possible new characters coming to the MultiVersus fighter roster (via Reddit). Names on the list include both Rick and Morty, Gandalf, LeBron James, Marvin the Martian, and Gremlins' Gizmo and Stripe as the character leaks, with the likes of Godzilla, Scooby-Doo, Legolas, Black Adam, Beetlejuice, and The Joker appearing in the leaked taunts list. Some of these have been leaked in some fashion before - including the inclusion of Pickle Rick as an unlockable skin for Rick Sanchez. |

HMS Vanguard, the Royal Navy's last battleship, will be the star of the next major Azur Lane event. She will have the highest Ultra Rare grade, and Commanders will be able to find her in the event's limited construction pool. Manjuu and Yongshi revealed the new shipgirl at a live stream marking the Azur Lane Chinese 5th anniversary on Bilibili. The upcoming Azur Lane event will primarily add five new shipgirls, including HMS Vanguard. All of them will be based on historical British Royal Navy warships.

Kotobukiya showed off an unpainted prototype of its Transformers Bishoujo Megatron figure. The site also includes comments from the product planner, answering questions on creative choices for the Megatron statue. She holds the Fusion Cannon in her right hand. According to the product planner, her design is meant to complement the Optimus Prime Bishoujo figure. She has white hair, and her clothing appears to be a mix of lilac gray, black, and red. At the time, Megatron was only concept art, while there was an unpainted prototype for the Optimus Prime figure. Aside from the Megatron figure, Kotobukiya shared quite a number of ongoing and future figures. These included unpainted prototypes similar to the Transformers Bishoujo Megatron figure, as well as concept art. Announcements included an unpainted prototype of a Subaru figure from Hololive. When it comes to animes, sometimes a show can focus on a specific character. Entire storylines can be dedicated to them being a certain "type" of person. They're designed to make you fall in love with them. Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie is exactly that for its heroine, Micchon Shikimori. But what makes this particular show so good is that she isn't a one dimensional character. She isn't just the cute, sweet, perfect girlfriend. Right from the first episode, it shows her different sides. Yes, she's cute. But she's also cool, can get jealous, and has her flaws. Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie begins with Micchon and Yu Izumi already as a couple. He's an average guy who is both klutzy and unlucky. She's essentially above average. The two are secure in their established relationship. This isn't a "will they or won't they" situation. The two are stable couple. They are considerate of each other. We also see how they make each other better. But Yu is always mentioning how great she is, as are people around her. This means the focus can be on seeing how Micchon behaves in situations and what makes her so deserving of attention and affection. Her character design is adorable. She has fashionable pink hair. Her eyes are detailed and expressive. She's often blushing. So at a glance, she's definitely adorable. It doesn't matter if she is in "cool" or "cute" mode. Micchon's default "look" is cute, as Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie suggests. She often can get flustered by situations with Yu, due to her love for him. When she hears Yu doesn't think she does much for him, she is quick to explain how important he is. When he tells her that he loves her, she's completely flabbergasted and flustered. During a sports tournament, when she can't be around to protect him, she "sends" him energy in the hopes he won't get hurt. Then, instead of playing her own game, stays by his side in the nurse's office to comfort him. But honestly, it can seem sometimes like there are more "cool" moments than "cute" ones. When a car comes barreling toward the two of them as they walk to school, Micchon pushes him toward the wall and gets between him and the vehicle. After classmates criticize Yu and put him down, she steps in to pull him away, gives them a glare to shut them up, and reassures Yu of his value. When they go bowling, through Yu's support she manages to bowl a perfect game. She's constantly doing things like anticipating "attacks," showing how athletic or intelligent she is, or displaying examples of consideration and kindness. However, equally important is that we see Micchon's flaws in every episode, which helps keep Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie grounded. Yes, she's admirable and someone we can look to as a "hero." But she also won't wear her glasses outside of class, can be jealous, gets flustered easily when Yu is kind to her, and will show no mercy if people she cares about are mistreated. She'll tease him about sharing a bed with him, then afterwards agonize about doing so when she's alone because "she came on too strong." She can also agonize about the "right" look for herself to make Yu like her. So she might wonder if she should overachieve or be incompetent when bowling or go through her whole closet when planning an outfit for a date. I suppose a good way to describe the Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie anime is as an extended character study of Micchon. There are a lot of moments with every member of the cast. But we're really seeing everything Micchon is available. It is showing all facets of her personality. As a result, even though the series is about how amazing she is, it still can feel realistic and she doesn't seem completely idealized. Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie is streaming on Crunchyroll in Japanese with subtitles and with an English dub. Kodansha is releasing the manga in English. KAngel's moving on... to a new platform, with Needy Streamer Overload on the Nintendo Switch. The game's Switch port is slated for an October 27, 2022 release. It will cost 4378 JPY ($34.23) for the physical copy, and 2640 JPY ($20.65) for the digital one. As well, the physical version of the game will come with a first edition bonus of an art book and a soundtrack. Ame's goal is to get a million subscribers in 31 days, and you are the one to help her do that. You can tell Ame what to do every day, as well as what content to stream. The game does deal with heavy themes such as mental illness and self harm. As of March 2022, the Steam version of the game reached over 300,000 sales. During the Indie Live Expo, it was revealed that this number is now up to 400,000. Needy Streamer Overload will release on the Nintendo Switch in Japan on October 27, 2022. PC Invasion - FeedDDD Sunday, May 22, 2022 3:03 PM  Genshin Impact Version 2.7's delay is now a thing of the past, and HoYoverse is spiraling onwards with the new version. News that Version 2.7 would drop on May 31 came about last week and, soon after, a livestream showcased much of the new content coming to the game, including new characters Yelan and Kuki Shinobu. Currently, Version 2.6 is only running one event and has no new content. So, the fact that we're getting something new is a necessary change of pace. Lore fiends in particular will enjoy the next version of Genshin Impact, which sees the return of Lumine (or Aether, depending on who you picked). Popular characters like Xiao, Arataki Itto, and Yanfei are also intersecting in a unique pairing, which should serve to bring some comical interactions.
