In case you don't know what the Destiny 2 Nightfall weapon means, Nightfall: The Ordeal is a playlist available in the Vanguard menu, alongside the basic Strike playlist. Each week, a different Strike is chosen as the Nightfall, and offered in five escalating difficulties, with harder enemies, challenging modifiers, and enemy power levels cranking up. The coveted Nightfall weapons have a chance to drop from any Nightfall Strike difficulty, but it's far more likely at higher levels. Your best bet for farming each week's Nightfall weapon is to set the Strike to Master difficulty, according to YouTuber Aztecross. Bandai Namco revealed a new third-person mecha shooter game titled Synduality at the September 2022 State of Play. This new game will have the player pilot a customizable mech called Cradle Coffin while being accompanied by an AI partner called Magus. The company describes Synduality as a PvPvE game. In a world where a poisonous rain forced humanity to live underground, players will have their own missions to gather AO Crystals by exploring the terrestrial surface and fending off hostile creatures. However, other players may also spawn on the same map and even fight against each other if their objectives clash. Shortly after State of Play ended, Bandai Namco published its own website and trailer for Synduality. The new game will appear on not only PlayStation 5 but also Xbox Series X|S and PC. In addition, the company will hold a live stream dedicated to Synduality on the last day of Tokyo Game Show on September 18, 2022. This stream will fit into the mystery slot that Bandai Namco had in its TGS 2022 itinerary. The Nintendo Switch will have a new fitness game where people can train with Kenshiro and other characters from Fist of the North Star. The September 2022 Nintendo Direct stream revealed Fitness Boxing: Fist of the North Star. As the title implies, this game will have characters from the classic manga series, with a focus on the title's protagonist Kenshiro. The fitness game will have Daily and Free training sessions where Kenshiro acts as an instructor for the player. However, the Fist of the North Star edition will also add a new Battle Mode. The player will embody Kenshiro as he tries to fight thugs that ruin other people's lives in the post-apocalyptic world. This mode will also feature boss fights against the series' notable rivals, such as Jagi and Raoh. Fitness Boxing: Fist of the North Star appeared on both the Japanese and American Nintendo Direct streams. However, Imagineer also published a new website and trailer dedicated to the game. While the website is also available in English, this title will be known in Japan as Fit Boxing: Hokuto no Ken - Omae wa Mou Yaseteiru. Nintendo revealed some upcoming N64 classics, including Goldeneye 007 and Pokemon Stadium on their way to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack service. Pilotwings 64, Mario Party, and Mario Party 2 will appear within the year. As for the rest, they will show up some time in 2023. GoldenEye 007 will be available on the Xbox Game Pass as well. However, online play is exclusive to the Nintendo Switch. At press time, has been no official explanation as to why Xbox Game Pass players will not be able to access online features. For both Pokemon Stadium games, you will not be able to transfer Pokemon to Stadium. While Nintendo has not explained why, this could be due to the fact that some Pokemon such as Jigglypuff and Marill have become Fairy types in recent generations. Fairy type did not exist back in 2000. The N64 games will appear on Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack over the course of 2022 and 2023. The September 2022 Nintendo Direct revealed that the classic shoot 'em up game Radiant Silvergun is coming to the Switch. Nintendo and Live Wire put the game up on the eShop soon after the Direct stream ended. Radiant Silvergun is a shoot 'em up game that originally appeared on Sega Saturn and arcades in Japan in 1998. The renowned composer Hitoshi Sakimoto made the title's soundtrack. However, Nintendo Switch is not the first platform to see a worldwide release for this game. Microsoft Studios helped Treasure bring the title to Xbox 360 worldwide via Xbox Live Arcade in September 2011. There is no specification on which version the Nintendo Switch port is based on, unlike the Xbox version which contains both the arcade and Saturn versions. But nevertheless, the description on its eShop page boasts beautiful 3D graphics. This game also has five difficulty settings that are suitable for a wide range of players, from beginners to experts. One of the game modes also lets people play the game in a similar way to Ikaruga, the spiritual successor to Radiant Silvergun that launched in the early 2000s. The Japanese version of Nintendo Direct broadcasted a trailer for Ketsugou Danshi, or Bonding Boys: Elements with Emotions. There is no news as of yet in regards to an English localization. It appears that this game will be free-to-download, but the majority of the game is behind paid DLC. The battle system is turn-based. Combining elements creates a chemical reaction and this chemical reaction will offer different buffs. For example, when you combine Hydrogen with Beryllium, you make Beryllium Hydride. In practice, the Beryllium Hydride reaction increases a single unit's attack by 23%. There will be simulation elements, as well as a visual novel component. In total, the game will have a maximum of 45 routes, and over 90 different endings. The story for Ketsugou Danshi: Elements with Emotions takes place in a world that will end in fifty days. In order to stand up against the threat of the 'Dead Matter,' you and the boys must use the power of bonds to fight. At almost eight minutes long, the video focuses on all of the stylish and over-the-top moves you can pull off in the latest entry in the franchise. But you can switch control between the two of them to string together combos depending on the situation. She can also fuse with them with Demon Masquerade. You will also be able to play as Viola, a new character. She uses a sword and darts, and instead of activating Witch Time with a dodge, she uses it after a block. During Sony's State of Play Bandai Namco announced the latest entry for the Tekken series of fighting games, Tekken 8, with a new trailer. At almost two minutes long, the trailer is a fight between Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima. It will appear on the PlayStation 5, with more information appearing soon. Bandai Namco confirmed that the game will also appear on Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. There are some cinematics throughout the battle, such as close-ups on biceps and camera angles. According to the notice in the beginning, this trailer uses "real-time rendered footage" from the game. Yakuza Isshin! or Ryu ga Gokotoku Isshin) is coming to PS4 and PS5. It's set for release in February 2023, putting nine years between its original release on PS3 in Japan and its arrival on foreign shores. The story is set in 1867, in Kyo (Kyoto), following the "secret quest for revenge" of a man who would prove instrumental in launching the Meiji Restoration. The trailer also shows of the environments of 19th-century Japan, and Ryoma's battles against a number of historical figures of the time, all of whom look almost exactly like various Yakuza series luminaries. Like A Dragon: Ishin! is actually the second samurai-themed Yakuza spin-off. The first one was 2008's Ryu ga Gotoku: Kenzan and starred legendary 16th-century swordsman Miyamoto Musashi (looking like Kiryu Kazuma). At this time we do not know why Sega opted to bring over Isshin first or whether it intends to bring over Kenzan at some point. It could be that as a PS3-exclusive title, Kenzan will take longer to adapt (Isshin was released on both PS3 and PS4, and shares a development pedigree with 2015's Yakuza 0). The next wave of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 DLC has been announced. Courtesy of the latest Nintendo Direct broadcast, Monolith announced a new playable Hero for Wave 2 of the Expansion Pass DLC. The new Hero is an apparently mechanical character named Ino. Her body is made of unusual materials, with exposed joints and mechanical parts. Ino arrives with her own quest in the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Wave 2 DLC. Completing her quest adds her to the roster of deployable Heroes and adds options to your party's lineup. Ino is listed as a Noponic Champion and Defender-type. In addition to Ino, the next Expansion Pass wave will also add Challenge Battles. Players will be able to take on tough enemies in consecutive battles. Their reward will be exclusive accessories and cosmetic outfits. Some of the outfits include swimwear for the main party and powerful accessories to use in your loadout. It seemed fairly obvious that this trailer served as a teaser for Tekken 8, but the absence of the game's title meant that there remained at least a little room to speculate over what Bandai Namco had in store for us. But during today's PlayStation State of Play, Bandai Namco removed any potential doubt and confirmed that the next Tekken project is indeed Tekken 8. Of course, this announcement came with a new trailer in all its 2160p 60 fps glory. The trailer depicts Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima having the grand showdown that Tekken 7 teased in its story mode. Both combatants stand amidst a raging storm, complete with incessant lightning strikes and towering tornadoes looming in the background. And as usual with Steam Fests, it'll feature deals and demos for current and upcoming horror games. These games will also feature "Halloween-themed gameplay" to really sell the theme. Steam Scream Fest will specifically feature games with relevant tags, such as Horror, Vampires, Werewolves, Supernatural, etc. Regarding the "Halloween-themed gameplay," some games will have events that include "dedicated items / cosmetics, thematic quests, maps, characters, and/or action" in-game. So far, the series has received five main installments, with the latest one recently seeing a release on PC with enhanced visuals and additional features. Notably, the series' fourth entry, dubbed Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse, has remained a Japanese Wii exclusive ever since its 2008 release, which severely limited its potential reach despite its decent sales compared to prior entries.
