The best Overwatch 2 support heroes ranked

Trying to find the best Overwatch 2 support heroes? With the new 5v5 team composition change in Overwatch 2, it's harder for support heroes to survive as there's only one tank on the team to protect them. Support players in the FPS game are more vulnerable, but they do have a new passive ability to help them out, which means they can now heal automatically after leaving combat for a few seconds.

In our best Overwatch 2 support heroes list, we're considering how each support performs solo, rather than as part of a dedicated comp. Ultimately, they need to heal, buff, and provide utility for the other players. Thankfully, there are more opportunities to run around the map, giving support heroes a chance to flank and dive into fights in Overwatch 2. High mobility, healing, and damage dealing are key here, along with supporting the best Overwatch 2 DPS heroes and the best tanks on your team.

The best Overwatch 2 tank heroes

Want to know who the best Overwatch 2 tank heroes are? There's a lot to consider when it comes to picking the best tank hero - since the PvP format made the switch from 6v6 to 5v5, tanks now occupy just one spot on a team. Players no longer have an off tank to cover mistakes, and as the FPS game shifts to a brawly meta, picking the right tank hero is a major decision.

We've selected five of the best Overwatch 2 tank heroes for both newcomers and returning players. Though all nine tanks are reasonable picks, our selection makes it easy to pick up a strong hero that can hold their own no matter what situation they're in, alongside the best Overwatch 2 DPS heroes and the best support heroes.

     All Gotham Knights skins

Want to know how to unlock Gotham Knights skins? As we head ever closer to the Gotham Knights release date, we've had confirmation that there are a total of 44 skins available in the upcoming open world game, according to executive producer Fleur Marty. It looks like 11 of these skins share similar themes across the Gotham Knights characters. For example, all characters have a Shinobi variant that takes inspiration from Japanese armour designs.

We have officially seen 30 Gotham Knights skins, with 28 of them officially shown on IGN First. Sadly, you can't mix and match these suits to incorporate other styles, such as taking bits from the Shinobi and Knight Ops suits to mash together. However, Geoff Ellenor, game director for Gotham Knights, has said to IGN that you can tinker a bit with colours and some parts of the suit to match a style that looks the best to you. If, for example, you want Batgirl's face exposed or hidden, then the option is up to you for any of the suits.

As opposed to a direct remake of the Modern Warfare 2 from 2009, Modern Warfare 2 is a sequel to 2019's Modern Warfare 1 reboot. Confusing? Slightly.      The best old games and PC classics to play in 2022

Sifting through abandoned forum posts and dusty magazines for the best old PC games? There are many perks to being a PC gamer, but we will save extolling them all for a day when we are feeling particularly inflammatory.      Best gaming laptop in 2022

The best gaming laptop on the market today can come pretty close to matching the power of a modern desktop gaming PC, meaning you don't have to stop playing while on your travels. In fact, recent innovations have made these mobile machines both slimmer and faster, with minimal compromises to performance.

If you're looking for the best gaming laptop with top-of-the-line specs, 13th Gen Intel Core and AMD Ryzen 7000 stacked systems are just around the corner, following their gaming PC counterparts. We expect one of these chips will be the best gaming CPU, promising increased performance and efficiency compared to previous generations.

Of course, these aren't the only components you'll need, as you'll want the best graphics card you can find to drive all the pretty pixels on your new laptop's display - mobile Nvidia RTX 4000 GPUs shouldn't be too far away. While gaming RAM and storage space are important, most models can be upgraded later down the line, so it's best to spend more money on a better processor or GPU at first.

I've long been excited about the possibilities offered by upcoming tidying things up nicely game A Little To The Left, and back in May this year Alice0 (one of us is RPS's Mirror Universe Alice, but nobody knows which) finally had a crack at it. The way she wanted to organise keys wasn't what the game thought was the right way, and her article examined this frustration; she described the canonical correct solution as being that of a "domestic Joker".

The developers at Max Inferno Studios read this article and decided that, you know what? Alice0 was on to something. They contacted us to let us know that her piece was the inspiration for adding a feature called Let It Be, a skip puzzle function that you can access at any time. Anne Macmillan, who's a co-founder of Max Inferno Studios as well as artist and animator for A Little To The Left, was kind enough to talk to me about it.

Friends, let me admit something up top. I am the most tedious of Dead Rising apologists. I love its in-game timer. I adore its linear mission structure that is completely at odds with the expansive semi-open world shopping mall in which it takes place. Hell, I even like its severely stripped down Wii port. I firmly believe that Dead Rising is an all-time great, but also understand why folks have (reasonably) cooled on the game's particular quirks.

Hello, yes, it's me, once again banging on about the WD Blue SN570. I just think it's neat: a highly affordable yet remarkably quick M.2 SSD, with multiple capacities to choose from and regular sales making it even cheaper. Speaking of, today is the last day of the Amazon Prime Early Access Sale, which has the 1TB Blue SN570 down to £65.

That's not quite its lowest price ever, but it does match its flash sale pricing during Prime Day back in July. And is an utter pittance for a 1TB NVMe SSD, let alone one that's actually quite speedy. Amazon UK also have the 2TB version on sale for £128, just £1 more than its lowest dip on record (Prime Day 2022 again, as it happens). These prices are only available to Prime members, but the Blue SN570 ranks highly among the best SSDs for gaming, so they're well deserving of your cash if you're in need of PC storage improvements.

Cultic's headshots are sensational. Enemy noggins pop with a squelchy crack that tickles a very unnerving part of my brain, the resulting blood fountain spraying so high it causes the ceiling to drip with human juice long after your hopeless adversary has slumped to the floor. fate/grand order halloween

"The 108's Halloween Rebellion ~ Little Dragon Lady's Water Margin Romance" has started in FGO, but only on the Japanese server. Available Servants in the banner include SSR Assassin Huyan Zhuo and SR Rider Huang Feihu. Both of these characters originated from the Chinese epic Water Margin. Completing the event will net you a free Pretender.

Toridamono, the character designer for the Atelier Ryza series, designed the Assassin of Mt. Liang, or Huyan Zhuo. Huyan Zhuo's voice actress is Manaka Iwami, who also provides the voices for Bridget in Guilty Gear Strive and Amber in Genshin Impact. Huyan Zhuo's Noble Phantasm, Empousa Chain Tempest, deals Quick DMG to all enemies and has a bonus against the Evil attribute. There is also a low chance of her stunning the enemies.

You can watch her Noble Phantasm here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DeJb3Eswgak

Other Servants available so far include Huang Feihu (Rider) and Kumonryu Eliza (Pretender). Completing the story will add Kumonryu Eliza to your roster permanently, while Huang Feihu is available in the gacha. A kumonryu is a kind of koi, and as Elizabeth is typically associated with dragons, this is a reference to the Waterfall Legend.

Here is Huang Feihu's Noble Phantasm:

Fate/Grand Order is readily available on mobile devices. The 108's Halloween Rebellion ~ Little Dragon Lady's Water Margin Romance is only on the Japanese server of FGO until November 2, 2022.

Pokémon Iono

The Pokémon Company introduced fans to a new gym leader from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Iono, in its latest trailer. Iono is the leader of one of the Pokémon Trainer Gyms in the Paldea region and specializes in using Electric-type Pokémon.

Check out her video below. In it, Iono challenges her viewers to guess her partner Pokémon.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U9HAaHc3wnc

The video takes the form of a pre-rendered presentation featuring Iono rendered in 3D and presenting an online video. Iono's show is called The Iono Zone, and she bills herself as a streamer and influencer in addition to Leader of Levinicia Gym. With hair in pink and blue, she wears colored Magnemite-like hair accessories. Her latest Iono Zone video has her interacting with the chat, challenging viewers to guess her partner Pokémon. In keeping with her brand, it's an Electric-type Pokémon. She describes it as "squishy" and "easygoing", with bumps on its head that people mistake for eyes. It also generates electricity in its belly by expanding and contracting. Unfortunately for the curious, Iono saves the reveal for her next episode, whenever that will be.

Like many series characters, Iono is the English-localized name of the character. In Japanese, Iono is called "Nanjamo (ナンジャモ)". Both names, however, are used as puns, with Iono being a pun for "I don't know", and Nanjamo being an idiosyncratic way of saying "Nothing!"

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet launch on November 18, 2022, for the Nintendo Switch. Check out a more detailed trailer showing off the game's flow.

Garchomp Plush

Premium Bandai opened pre-orders for a new five-foot-long sleeping Garchomp plush on its website. Much like previous Pokemon plushes, the Garchomp plush will be soft to the touch and usable as a cushion for sleeping. The plush will cost 57,200 yen in total (about $391 USD) and will ship sometime in February 2023. Pre-orders are currently open via the Premium Bandai store for those living in Japan. [Thanks, Hobby Watch!]

https://twitter.com/Pokemon_cojp/status/1580030529289658369?s=20&t=ek9_AHwJUPIRvRwuNrhEUQ

The Garchomp plush measures around 160 cm (about 5'2) long, with a wingspan of 180 cm (about 5'9) wide. This is slightly smaller than its height of 190cm (about 6'2) recorded in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. The Garchomp will have its eyes closed and will splay its legs and wings out. Unlike some other plushes, such as the life-sized Lucario plush that debuted last year, the Garchomp will not be posable.

Previously, Bandai teased a large plush of the mach dragon pokemon during the Pokemon Brilliant Shining Festival back in 2021. The festival was to commemorate the release of the Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl remakes that released in the same year.

You can get a better look at the Garchomp via the screenshots below:

The Pokemon Garchomp plush is available via the Premium Bandai website. Pre-orders are open and will be available until supplies last. The plush will cost 57,200 yen in total (about $391 USD) and will ship sometime in February 2023. International shipping is unavailable and will require the use of third-party shipping services.

Souta Kusada was the illustrator of Mutsuki and HMAS Perth in KanColle

Souta Kusada, the illustrator of several Kantai Collection (KanColle) shipgirls, including Mutsuki and HMAS Perth, died on October 5, 2022. She is survived by her husband, who broke the news on her Twitter account on October 10, 2022. The surviving family had held a vigil and funeral ceremony prior to the announcement.

The couple had been acquainted for 14 years and eventually married in January 2020. In the tweet thread, Kusada's husband mentioned that she "went to heaven by her own volition" on October 5, 2022. He saw an unfinished sketch on her PC screen and a list of appointments with no cancellations on her planner. But as there were no testaments, he assumed she did an impulsive action.

Souta Kusada was best known as the illustrator of five out of twelve Mutsuki-class destroyer shipgirls in KanColle, Kadokawa Games' PC browser game that popularized the concept of anthropomorphizing historical warships. The roster consisted of the first four ships—Mutsuki, Kisaragi, Yayoi, and Uzuki—and the sixth ship Minazuki. Mutsuki was also one of the main characters in the first KanColle anime season that aired in 2015. Kusada later designed KanColle's shipgirl version of the Australian light cruiser, HMAS Perth.

Outside of KanColle, Kusada worked on the design for Mikoto Inunakiyama, the Osaka representative of the hot spring anthropomorphization franchise Onsen Musume. She also created VTuber designs for herself and two other VTubers: Mia Mizugame and Sakaizumi Riri.

Kantai Collection, also known as Fleet Girls Collection and KanColle, is available on PC browsers and Android devices in Japan. An anime adaptation aired in 2015 and is available on Crunchyroll, with a follow-up season set to debut in Japan in November 2022.

Overwatch 2 Free Reaper Skin Cursed Captain ReaperOverwatch 2's launch was far from flawless. It's buggier than expected, characters are being removed, and the servers have been difficult to play on. Blizzard wants to make up for this by both issuing an apology and offering its playerbase some additional benefits. In the near future, Overwatch 2 players will receive a free Reaper skin plus several Double XP Weekends. Blizzard has promised its players that they will get to participate in "several Double Match XP Weekends." Blizzard didn't give exact dates for these weekends but assured it would reveal them soon. Since it specifies that this will only be Double Match XP, it's assumed that challenges will still reward the usual experience.   In addition to the Double XP Weekends, Blizzard is also giving away a free skin. Any Overwatch 2 player can receive the legendary Cursed Captain Reaper skin for free. It has the edgy shotgun man flaunting his best pirate attire. To receive the skin all you hav...

Vampire Survivors 1.0 scythes bonesAfter months of updates and teases, we now know that developer poncle plans to release the 1.0 version of Vampire Survivors on October 20. Fans will only have to wait a little more than a week before experiencing Vampire Survivors in its complete state, but of course, poncle still has plenty of news to share until then. On October 7, the developer initiated what he calls the advent calendar. It's a series of daily updates and teasers revealing various new features that will come to the 1.0 version. So far, all of these updates have come with a spoiler tag in case you want to learn about the 1.0-exclusive features yourself. Most of the Vampire Survivors 1.0 news updates cover fairly minor additions and changes, but there exist a few new tidbits that fans will almost certainly be excited about. The first and perhaps the most significant of these updates reveals the existence of a new relic called the Seventh Trumpet. At first, this may not seem like that big of a deal, but it tu...

Fortnite Update Loot Pool Changes Goo Gun, Throwable Lauch Pads, Shield BubbleThe debut of Fortnite Chapter 3: Season 4 introduced fans to Paradise. So far, players have experienced map changes and have been using new abilities, all thanks to Chrome. Epic Games has continued to keep the season fresh by deploying updates on a regular basis. The latest Fortnite update has made changes to the loot pool — the Goo Gun, Throwable Launch Pad, and Shield Bubble have joined the island. First up is the Goo Gun, which is one of the most unique weapons on the island. The goo is explosive, meaning that it will cause destruction to the buildings and players covered in it. The Goo Gun is loaded with 200 rounds which can't be refilled, so you'll have to replace it with another Goo Gun if you want to use it again. Luckily, the weapon's drop rate has been increased until the next update, meaning there's a high chance you'll find one in chests, supply drops, and on the ground.   Launch Pads with a useful twist Next, the launch pad has recei...

Cultic Chapter One Review 1Familiarity is kind of the end goal for a lot of retro first-person shooters. Cultic: Chapter One could be described as a more explicit spiritual successor to Blood, whereas Dusk was more "what if Blood had a full 3D sequel that was good?" The thing is, Cultic: Chapter One doesn't have as much of a unique identity as Dusk. However, this is still a mostly killer throwback with a good amount of meat to it in spite of a few balance issues and the obvious fact that this is only the first part of the game. At least it's priced accordingly. You've probably already guessed the story from the game's title. There's a cult worshipping some Lovecraftian being that is up to some grisly business. You're on the trail of a journalist who gets wrapped up with said cult while searching for a missing person. The cult members themselves are very reminiscent of Blood's, but, surprisingly, are even more reminiscent of the cultists from Ion ...
