Technical problems, some unusual pathfinding AI, and problems with traffic and roads might have impacted its first couple of months, but the groundwork is there for CS2, and with patches, DLC, and mods, it will eventually rule the entire genre. Currently, however, the Colossal Order and Paradox sequel is going through an awkward patch, something that is reflected in its Steam player count. Over on Valve's platform, Cities Skylines 2 now has fewer players than the original Cities Skylines from 2015. If you're in the dark about why we're so excited, Judas is an upcoming FPS game by Ghost Story Games, a studio led by Ken Levine and other former Irrational Games developers - yes, the same people behind BioShock. Like those earlier games, Judas will be a single-player story game, but one set in a futuristic sci-fi universe, much in a similar vein to BioShock's predecessor. Square Enix announced on social media that it will end service for Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia on February 29, 2024. The mobile game first launched on February 1, 2017 and will be shut down after seven years. In the official announcement about DFFOO's end og service, the development team stated that they were finding it difficult to provide services that would please their customers in the future. This prompted the decision to end its service in 2024. Despite the announcement, there are multiple events planned for DFFOO coming out during its last few months. The following events will occur in the Global version of DFFOO:
As of November 29, 2023, all sales of Gems will end. Any Gems currently owned will be available until the end of the game's service. If a player has an insufficient amount of Gems for gacha draws, it will direct to the purchase screen, but the ability to purchase Gems will not work. At the the end of DFFOO's service, any paid unused in-game currency will be refunded to the players. Details about refund will be available at a later date via the official website and the official support center for DFFOO. Square Enix recommends that players seeking to have their paid unused in-game currency do not delete the app until after the refund has been issued. Dissidia FFOO recently added Angeal from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII to the game as a playable character. Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia is currently free-to-play on iOS and Android devices, but Square Enix will be ending its service on February 29, 2024.
