Welcome to the Week in Review
Welcome
Apple has dominated the tech headlines of late, whether through the launch of the Vision Pro, the arrival of new MacBook Airs, or the demise of the Apple Car project. But now it’s time for Google to take center stage.

That’s because the tech giant has announced that Google I/O, its annual developer conference, will take place in mid-May – and frankly, we can’t wait. I/O usually delivers when it comes to big reveals of both new hardware and software, and we’ve already gazed into our crystal ball to predict what you can expect this year. Spoiler: AI. Lots of it. But also some other stuff. Check it out below.

Another event on the horizon is Amazon’s Spring Sale, which kicks off next week in both the UK and the US, and which will offer five days of savings on everything from headphones to TVs and home appliances. No, it won’t feature AI – but it may be a great way to pick up a bargain, and we’ll be covering it in full on TechRadar.

We're also going big on Wordle’s 1,000th birthday today. You can read my own guide to what I’ve learned from playing every single one of them below – and no, I didn’t use AI to cheat.
