FuRyu has revealed that it will hold The Quintessential Quintuplets: China Princess lottery in Japan in late May 2024. The Kuji lottery will feature figures and illustrations of the Nakano quintuplets in Chinese dresses.
People will have to pay 850 yen (~$5.43) to get a single ticket for the lottery. There will be a winning tier dedicated to each character in the quintuplets—Ichika, Nino, Miku, Yotsuba, and Itsuki. Each tier will reward a figure based on that character.
Other than the quintuplets' figures, the lottery will feature one more tier that rewards a set of clear files with a display stand. The person who draws the last entry in the lottery will instead win an A2-sized poster. All participants will also be able to enter a bonus lottery that rewards all five figures by entering their lottery numbers on FuRyu's webpage.
There have been many other figure sets depicting all five characters in the Nakano quintuplets in various outfits. While wedding gowns are a popular theme—as seen in Nendoroids and plush dolls, there are more sets that show them in other attires. One such example is the Gym Date series of Fascinity Figures that depict the quintuplets in training clothes. After previously revealing Ichika, Nino, and Miku, Aeon Fantasy published the remaining figures of Yotsuba and Itsuki, which will be available on May 17 and 24, 2024, respectively.

Behaviour Interactive, developer of Dead by Daylight, announced a Castlevania crossover for the asymmetrical horror title. More information will appear on August 6, 2024. However, a short trailer has accompanied this announcement, which teases the addition of Dracula as a possible addition to the roster of Killers.
You can watch the Dead by Daylight Castlevania crossover announcement trailer below.
The trailer shows the iconic titular castle in the background as a vampire stalks towards the camera before bursting into a swarm of bats. Outside of this footage, nothing has been revealed as to who the potential Survivors could be.
This is not the first time a Konami IP has appeared in Dead by Daylight. Previously, Cheryl (Heather) Mason and Pyramid Head of the Silent Hill series joined the roster as a Survivor and Killer, respectively. Since then, various Silent Hill characters such as Maria, James Sunderland, and Cybil Bennett have appeared as premium skins.
Dead by Daylight is an asymmetrical horror title that pits four Survivors against one Killer. Players must cooperate and repair generators to open exit gates to escape hazardous stages before the Killer eliminates them. Crossover stages include the Raccoon City Police Department, from the Resident Evil 2 remake, and Midwich Elementary School from Silent Hill.
Dead by Daylight is available for PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X. An Android and iOS version is also available. More information about the Castlevania crossover will appear on August 6, 2024.

Bandai Namco is working with A3 to open a temporary Blue Protocol Pop Up Shop in Ikebukuro in Tokyo, Japan. This physical shop will primarily sell merchandise that features characters from the online game between May 15-30, 2024. JRE Mall eeo Store will also open online orders for items from it during the same period.
The merchandise lineup will mostly feature seven characters: Feste, Jake, Einrain, Tyris, Aerinse, Carvain, and Tia. Some of the items will appear at random when purchased individually. However, A3 will also sell complete boxes that let one obtain every unique item in the collection. In addition, A3 will hand over a random bonus postcard for every 2,200 yen spent on the new merchandise.

Sales of the PS5 reached 59 million, according to Sony's latest financial reports. In addition, there are now 118 million active users on PlayStation systems.
PS5 sales reached 20.8 million in the last financial year, with 4.5 million of those units sold during the previous quarter. The 59 million total is close to the PS4 sales at the equivalent time in its life cycle, which had sold 60 million at the time. Sony also anticipate that PS5 sales will begin to decline year-on-year as it approaches the middle of its life cycle. They have predicted sales of 18 million units in the next financial year.
Sony also confirmed that the number of active users on PlayStation systems has risen to 118 million, double the PS5 sales figure. Helldivers 2 is cited as a major part in this increase, which has sold 12 million copies across PS5 and PC. It now holds the record for fastest-selling first-party Sony title since God of War Ragnarok in 2022. In addition, total play time reached its second-highest point in history during Q4 FY2023. It was only exceeded by Q4 FY2020, where demand from the pandemic was high.
Sony have not revealed much about their plans in the coming plans in these reports. They mention Destiny 2: The Final Shape and live service game Concord as major upcoming titles. No other upcoming first-party games have been mentioned.

We already knew Aksys would release the Nihon Falcom Persona-like Switch port of Tokyo Xanadu eX+, and now there's a release date. It will launch on July 25, 2024, and the Aksys Store version includes a four CD soundtrack.
The Tokyo Xanadu eX+ Switch release date announcement was paired with a brief trailer for the game. It mainly focuses on the launch. It mainly shows some of the animations to start, but there are also brief gameplay clips for the RPG.
To compare, the original Tokyo Xanadu release trailer Aksys prepared was a much longer one. It showed the entire animated introduction to the game.
The bundle that includes the game and the soundtrack will be a bit more expensive than the game alone. The Aksys Store is already taking pre-orders for it. People get a physical Switch cartridge and the four CDs in a separate case for $69.99.

The Tokyo Xanadu eX+ Switch release date outside Japan is July 25, 2024. The game is immediately available on the Switch in Japan and the PS4 and PC worldwide. It originally launched on the Vita in 2015.

NPC Studio announced that Fields of Mistria, a PC farming sim with character designs inspired by Sailor Moon artist Naoko Takeuchi's work, will enter Steam Early Access on August 5, 2024. The developer took to social media to announce it and share a brief trailer with character art.
First, here's the official reveal. It shows townsfolk, many of them being love interests, before revealing the Fields of Mistria Early Access date. Two of the figures only show up as silhouettes.
The official Steam page for the game further went over how early access will work for the farming sim. It will last for a year and involve regular updates. When it launches, people will be able to make and customize a character, grow over 50 crops during the four seasons, raise and play with animals, and engage in blacksmithing, cooking, and crafting. The "dungeon" and mine area will only go to level 60 when it launches. The Saturday Market will also only have half of its planned vendors. Nine skills will be present. Some home upgrades will appear. Also, the Spring Festival is the only one mentioned.
The romances won't be complete in Fields of Mistria when it debuts in August 2024. While there will be 10 standard and 2 special candidates, all of them can only get up to four hearts and have two events. The finished game will have 10 hearts available, additional events, and advanced relationships.
NPC Studio also confirmed the game will cost $13.99 when it enters early access. However, that price could change in the run-up to launch. The developer only noted that will come up "at a later time."
Fields of Mistria will enter Steam Early Access for the PC on August 5, 2024.

Microsoft announced the next lineup of games headed to the Xbox Game Pass library includes the upcoming Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2. Also on the way are Lords of the Fallen and Immortals of Aveum.
Hellblade 2 is the follow up to 2017 critical darling Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, and it is set to continue the journey through Viking myth. The game is set to launch on May 21, 2024, and it will be immediately available via Game Pass. Other new arrivals include first-person magic spell-shooter Immortals of Aveum on May 16, 2024, and that will be followed by the Souls-like Lords of the Fallen on May 30, 2024. Meanwhile, on May 31, 2024, games like Chicory: A Colorful Tale and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle will leave the service.

One of the recurring Final Fantasy XIV events is the Make It Rain Campaign, and the 2024 installment begins on May 15, 2024. This time it there is an imp theme that lets people look like kappas.
The requirements to take part aren't too taxing. If we want to take part, we need to complete the FFXIV: A Realm Reborn quest "The Gridanian Envoy," "The Lominsan Envoy," or "The Ul'dahn Envoy." (Which one needs to be done depends on your starting character decisions.) Being at level 15 is also part of the requirements.
When we clear both those hurdles, we can go to Ul'dah - Steps of Nald. The FFXIV Make It Rain Campaign event NPC Quevain waits there. Talking to the character lets you take on the quest "Of Impish Importance."
By going through that, we can acquire four items. The two costume parts are the FFXIV Imp Head and Suit. These can be dyed and projected. We can also get Cactaur-themed cosmetics. There is a Cactaur Dining Table and Senor Sabotender Chronometer for our homes.

As usual, past items from other Make It Rain Campaign events are available. The campaign attendant offers them. There will also be 50% higher Gold Saucer rewards.
Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and the FFXIV Make It Rain Campaign event runs May 15-31, 2024. The Dawntrail expansion debuts on July 2, 2024.

Ateam and Cover announced that the next Valkyrie Connect Hololive event will kick off on May 17, 2024, and now there's a trailer promoting the event. It focuses on the Hololive Japan Vtubers Hakui Koyori, Ookami Mio, Sakura Miko, and Yukihana Lamy, who are all joining the game as playable characters for this event.
Things begin with chibi art of Koyori, Lamy, Miko, and Mio. After that, it shows off the in-game models and gameplay footage for each Vtuber. It begins with Mio. Then, we get to see Miko. Lamy footage and art showed up after that. After seeing their character models all together.

While Ookami Mio is present as a character in this crossover, she is currently on a break. Cover announced she is in the hospital on May 12, 2024. She won't be participating in other scheduled concerts and events as a result.

Banpresto revealed new My Hero Academia Combination Battle figures that feature Izuku "Deku" Midoriya and Katsuki "Dynamight / Kacchan" Bakugo. The figures will be available as crane game prizes in Japanese arcade game centers starting from May 16, 2024.
These figures will appear to re-enact the fight scene in the anime's 61st episode "Deku vs. Kacchan, Part 2." The sizes will range between 11-12 cm (~4.33-4.72 inches). The items will be available separately in the crane games, but people who manage to get both figures will be able to line them up together.

The 61st anime episode—or the 23rd episode in Season 3—originally aired in Japan on September 15, 2018. It covered the scenes from the original manga chapters 117 to 121 in the Provisional Hero License Exam arc. Season 7 of the anime began airing in Spring 2024, and it covers the Star and Stripe arc.

Atlus announced that it has gradually restocked some of its Persona 3 Reload merchandise. The items are available to order via Atlus D Shop.
The list of restocked merchandise as mentioned in Atlus' tweet includes acrylic stands, tin badges, and tarot card replicas. The prices range from 440 yen (~$2.80) for a single tin badge to 4,400 yen (~$28) for the tarot card replica set.
The international availabilities for this merchandise collection are ambiguous at best. Atlus D Shop's parent platform EBten supports global shipping via WorldShopping, and some of the restocked Persona 3 Reload merchandise are also listed in the international shipping-supported pages. However, the pages for each Persona 3 Reload item have WorldShopping's "Add to Cart" button greyed out, and clicking it will generate a message stating that the items "cannot be sold to your country." Icrea's figure of Aigis in her EX Orgia Mode from Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is the one that actually has worldwide shipping support.
Many companies other than Atlus have also revealed their own lineups of Persona 3 Reload merchandise. Animax Cafe's goods have more focus on the title's main characters, while Movic's collection specifically features disaster survival and first-aid themes.
The Persona 3 Reload video game is available worldwide on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
