San'ei will release its seventh line of Potehug Pokemon plushes, with Gengar and Azumarill appearing in cushion form this time. These figures will come out in Japan some time in late November 2024.
In the pictures that San'ei posted of the Pokemon Gengar and Azumarill plushes, they're quite big. Both of them are about the sizes of the torsos of the people holding them, and the Gengar looks a bit chubbier than the Azumarill. Both of the figures cost 6600 JPY, which would convert to around $46.10.
Both Gengar and Azumarill are Pokemon that've been around for a long time now. Gengar was in the first generation while Azumarill was in the second. Gengar is a Ghost/Poison Type that is the final evolution of the Gastly line. It's vastly popular both in-game and outside of it, with plenty of merchandise, as well as special forms like Mega and Gigantamax Gengar. As for Azumarill, it's a Water/Fairy Type (post XY) that's the final evolution of the Marill line. Unlike Gengar, it does not have any special forms in the games, but it's useful in battle.
Potehug cushions have a soft and squishy texture to make people want to hug them. There are pellets in the butt as well, which can help it to balance when you want to put it on display. As mentioned earlier, this is the seventh release of new Potehug plushes from San'ei. Previous plushes it released include Pokemon like Fidough, Paldean Wooper, Cleffa, Natu, and Clodsire.

Good Smile Company has opened up pre-orders for a large figure of he Servant from Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls. In other words, this is a large figure of Komaeda with a chained collar around his neck.
Pre-orders are open until October 23, 2024. Those in Japan can expect to see him around April 2025 and it'll cost 8800 JPY. Meanwhile, those in North America can expect to see it in Q3 2025 and it'll cost $57.99. As a reminder, Good Smile Company can only ship to Canada or the United States due to geographical licensing restrictions.
This figure stands at around 230 millimeters and is a large figure to commemorate Ultra Despair Girls's 10th anniversary. It shows him waving with a smile on his face. This Komaeda design is from his stint in Ultra Despair Girls and it features him in a darker outfit than what he wears in the main Super Danganronpa 2 game. He also has a chain around his neck and a glove over his left hand due to reasons from his backstory.
The Komaeda (Servant) figure from Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls is available for pre-order until October 23, 2024. As for Ultra Despair Girls, you can play it on the PS4, PS Vita, and Windows PC.

During the latest Level-5 Vision 2024 broadcast, the developers announced Inazuma Eleven Re, a new remake of the original Nintendo DS title. The game is currently in development and will release sometime in 2026 for the Switch, PS5, PS4, and PC.
The newly announced remake will sport a cel shaded 3D toon graphic style during exploration and gameplay, changing to stylized full-body 3D models used during special techniques. Meanwhile, hybrid 3D and 2D animated sprites will appear during conversations and dialogue.
Level-5 only offered a brief 90 second teaser of the game, and you can check it out below. The new Inazuma Eleven Re teaser trailer of the remake is available in Japanese with English and Chinese subtitles available.
The first Inazuma Eleven game originally released in Japan on August 22, 2008, with the title releasing on January 28, 2011 in Europe and August 26, 2011 in the UK. The first title only saw its release in North America with the Nintendo 3DS version of the game that appeared in February 13, 2014.
The Inazuma Eleven Re remake is currently in development and will appear in 2026 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam.

In a list of upcoming optimizations and changes, the Zenless Zone Zero account revealed that the team will remove the TV exploration mode from the main story. There will also be Fairy Auto Explore mode for TV mode commissions you completed in the past.
The TV mode is a unique way of traversing through Hollows. You travel from screen to screen to solve puzzles, unlock doors, and encounter enemies. However, not everyone enjoyed this new way of exploration. I, for one, did not like it when previewing or reviewing the game. Others did.
The full list of changes is available on the Zenless Zone Zero official social media accounts. Other changes will let you play as Agents you acquire, as well as a Backup Battery Charge system. The Backup Battery Charge system lets you accumulate Battery Charge after you reach the upper limit. So if you forget to log in and use up your Battery Charge, the time won't go to waste. You'll also be able to obtain Notorious Hunt materials even after you reach the weekly reward limit.
HoYoVerse is working on implementing battle logic, new modes in Hollow Zero, and Battle Rank criteria as well. Aside from these quality-of-life improvements, it's exploring an Agent Accompany mode which will let you hang out and interact with your favorite Agents. Though TV mode will be gone in 1.2 and Agent control will be in 1.4, it's unknown when and if Agent Accompany and other changes here will be in the game.
Zenless Zone Zero is readily available on the PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices.

SEGA and DC Comics have announced a new collaboration, DC x Sonic Generations, set to launch in March 2025. The crossover will feature a monthly comic series written by Sonic the Hedgehog writer Ian Flynn. The series will run until 2026 and will include Sonic characters reimagined as DC superheroes.

During a recent Sonic Central livestream, SEGA and DC provided a preview of the crossover, revealing characters like Shadow as Batman, Knuckles as Superman, Amy as Wonder Woman, and Sonic as The Flash. Alongside the comic series, the collaboration will include various merchandise and licensed products. This crossover marks the beginning of a long-term partnership between SEGA and DC Comics, with plans for more content and media releases beyond 2025.
In related news, Sega has revealed the release date for the Sonic x Shadow Generations: Dark Beginnings anime series, which will serve as a prologue to the upcoming Sonic x Shadow Generations game. The first episode, titled Shadow and Maria, will premiere on September 25, 2024, on the official Sonic the Hedgehog YouTube channel.
The DC x Sonic comic series will begin its run in March 2025. Sonic x Shadow Generations will come to the PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on October 25, 2024.

Ghost of Yōtei, sequel to Ghost of Tsushima was announced during the September 2024 State of Play showcase. Set in 1603, the game follows a new protagonist, Atsu, as he journeys through the treacherous lands surrounding Mount Yōtei.

The trailer showcases a vast open world filled with new environments, including sprawling grasslands and snowy tundras, offering a contrast to its predecessor. Players can expect a range of threats, from rival ronin to hostile factions, all hunting Atsu as he seeks to uncover the mysteries of the region in this upcoming sequel to Ghost of Tsushima.
In case you missed it, Ghost of Tsushima reached a major milestone back in January 2022, with Sony confirming the game surpassed 8 million copies sold. Originally launched in July 2020, the game saw continued success with the release of the Director's Cut, which included the Iki Island expansion. This update followed previous milestones of 5 million copies sold within its first four months and 6.5 million by March 2021.
Ghost of Yōtei is Slated for release in 2025 on PlayStation 5. Ghost of Tsushima is available on the PS4. Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut is also available for the PS4 and PS5.

During the September 24, 2024 Sony State of Play event, it was revealed that an early PlayStation JRPG will be getting an enhanced visual rerelease. Fans of classic turn-based JRPG titles will get a chance to see both of the PlayStation Lunar series entries updated visually and enhanced for modern hardware.
The Lunar Remastered Collection features the remasters of Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete and Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete in a single package. The enhancement includes updated visuals, a widescreen mode and standard resolution, and other features to be detailed in the future.

This is the first time the Lunar duology has been seen worldwide since the ports of the original appeared on PlayStation Network in 2015. These two games are classic fantasy JRPGs who, in their Complete versions, received expansive character writing updates and enhancements to the stories. Players who are fond of the fantasy JRPG style will now have a chance to play both games for the first time in nearly ten years.
This along with many other announcements, were main events to the State of Play event, including new looks at Monster Hunter Wilds, and a release date for the updated remaster for Fantasian, Fantasian: Neo Dimension

A teaser for the Alan Wake 2 Lake House DLC was revealed during Sony's September 2024 State of Play presentation. The DLC is set for release in October 2024.
The trailer is cryptic, as a female voice discusses the Lake House, a mysterious location that contains dark secrets. There is a supernatural force swirling around at the end of a corridor full of corpses, although it's unclear what this is. From the mention of "the Bureau" and a logo seen inside the building, it's clear that the facility has connections to the FBC, previously seen in Control. This connection is similar to how Control's AWE DLC directly teased Alan Wake 2 in its ending.

The Lake House is the second story expansion DLC for Alan Wake 2. The first was the Night Springs DLC, featuring an anthology of stories featuring familiar characters from the "Remedyverse." It was released shortly after its announcement at Summer Game Fest 2024.
Alan Wake 2 is out now for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. The Lake House DLC is set to release in October 2024.

The much anticipated Monster Hunter Wilds now has a release date of February 28, 2025, per the reveal at the Sony State of Play. A new trailer also showed us a glimpse of several monsters and some more story snippets.
There are several returning features and new monsters appearing in the trailer, including a river-dwelling (presumably) piscine wyvern with large, wing-like fins. Afterwards, we see the same river area after the weather changes from storm to clear, sunny skies. Wall climbing, fishing, and grapple-swinging appear to make their return, before a hunter uses a grappling hook to collapse a large ruin onto a Doshaguma.
A new kind of indigenous critter tribe makes its appearance too, before a chicken-like monster utilizing fire is shown off alongside the Palico's healing ability. Finally, we get a story section that also shows the Rey Dau fighting against the "White Wraith", a new wyvern-like monster that looks as if it has chains attached to its forelimbs.

Capcom also recently announced that the new Scarlet Forest area would be shown off at the upcoming Tokyo Games Show 2024. Back in August, 2024, it was also announced that Monster Hunter Wilds would not Gender-lock armor during a livestream at Gamescom.

During the PlayStation State of Play on September 24, 2024, Sony revealed that Dino Crisis will appear on PS+ as a free game to play. It will come out later this year.
Dino Crisis will be one of the two new games being added to PlayStation Plus's Classics Catalog. The other one is Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain. As for the free monthly games for active PS+ subscribers, they are WWE: 2k24, Dead Space, and Doki Doki Literature Club. These are for October 2024. People with a PS+ account can download these games and own them for free.
Yet another classic survival horror series from Capcom, Dino Crisis debuted in 1999 on the PlayStation. It follows Regina, a special operations agent who was part of a team investigating a research facility on an island. It turns out dinosaurs are running amok on the island. Regina has to fight her way through the facility in order to survive, as well as uncover the secrets behind this prehistoric phenomenon. The last game in the franchise was Dino Crisis 3, which was came out for the Xbox in 2003. However, many fans have been begging for a new entry.
Dino Crisis will appear on the PS+ as part of its Classics Catalog. However, there is no date as of yet. More information will appear later.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredders Revenge has released the Radical Reptiles DLC, now available. This new expansion brings two new playable characters, Mona Lisa & Mondo Gecko. The DLC launched alongside an official trailer.

During the PlayStation State of Play in September 2024, it was announced that a NieR Automata collaboration will appear in Stellar Blade. It'll be later this year in 2024.
The news came at the end of the Stellar Blade segment. There will also be a new Photo Mode, which looks really in-depth. You can adjust everything from pose to angle to filter. The Stellar Blade original soundtrack will also start streaming from today. At the end of the segment, the trailer shows 2B and Pod 042 looking over the ruined city. It's unknown what the collaboration between NieR Automata and Stellar Blade will entail.
Stellar Blade is a 2024 action game in which you take control of Eve. She is a monster fighter in a distant future after the monstrous Naytibas drove humans from Earth. Eve is part of an army that's trying to free Earth from the Naytibas and reclaim it for humanity. However, things don't go very well for her. As for NieR Automata, it focuses on androids engaging in a proxy war against robotic lifeforms. Both games feature a sci-fi setting in which the protagonists fight to liberate Earth, looking like runway models the entire time they do so.
Stellar Blade is readily available on the PS5. There is no information as of yet in regards to the Windows PC release.

Koei Tecmo has published a new Dynasty Warriors Origins trailer at the September 2024 State of Play. This trailer also confirmed the release date for Dynasty Warriors Origins. The company will launch the game simultaneously worldwide on January 17, 2025.
This trailer shows some of the event cutscenes that feature the game's new original protagonist. It also includes close-up views of existing series characters who are also key figures in Romance of the Three Kingdoms, such as Dong Zhuo and a younger version of Cao Cao.
The new trailer marks another entry in the game's participation in Sony's State of Play programs, as Koei Tecmo also made its first reveal in the May 2024 edition.
Koei Tecmo will release Dynasty Warriors Origins simultaneously worldwide on January 17, 2025. The game will be available for not only PlayStation 5 but also Xbox Series X and PC.

During the September 2024 State of Play, Sony announced that the release date for the upcoming Fantasian Neo Dimension console and PC port is slated for December 5, 2024. As part of the event, Mistwalker founder and Fantasian Producer Hironobu Sakaguchi appeared during the latest broadcast to announce the launch date.
Additionally, Sony and Square Enix released a new gameplay and story trailer for Fantasian Neo Dimension. The trailer showcases the unique real-life diorama pre-rendered backgrounds mixed with 3D character models. Furthermore, the trailer showcased the Dimengeon system, where random enemy encounters can be temporarily stored in order to fight all of them in a row.

Fantasian originally appeared as an Apple Arcade exclusive between April and August 2021. Square Enix will be publishing the Fantasian Neo Dimension console and PC port, which was announced earlier this year during the June 2024 Nintendo Direct with a Winter 2024 release window. Final Fantasy XIV Producer Naoki Yoshida and Mistwalker's Hironobu Sakaguchi talked in the past about both the collaboration between both companies to publish and release.

Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver I & II Remastered has been announced. The reveal was part of the September 2024 PlayStation State of Play presentation.
The trailer for Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver I & II Remastered featured various scenes from both games, complete with reworked textures. The trailer also suggests that upscaled versions of the original textures will also be available. Since Aspyr is the developer, this appears to be similar to their remaster of the Tomb Raider trilogy that released earlier in 2024, which allowed players to switch between the two visual styles at the touch of a button. The remasters appear to be faithful recreations, with the original voice acting present in the trailer.
Rumors of the existence of the remaster emerged after photos of Kain and Raziel figures appeared at SDCC 2024 featuring the remaster's branding. Dark Horse Comics confirmed the figures would be releasing in August 2024.
Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver first appeared on the PlayStation and PC in 1999 and was later ported to the Dreamcast. The sequel, Soul Reaver 2, released for PS2 and PC in 2001. Both games are part of the wider Legacy of Kain series, and focus on the story of Raziel, a former vampire clan leader turned into a wraith following his trangressions against his lord Kain. Another game in the series, Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain, was also confirmed to be coming to the PlayStation Plus catalog during the State of Play presentation.
Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver I & II Remastered will release for PS4 and PS5 on December 10, 2024.
