Path of Exile 2's endgame is about to become

If there's one thing that's been just as impressive as Path of Exile 2's huge player counts, it's the speed at which Grinding Gear is already balancing and refining its incredible ARPG. It's not even been two weeks yet, and after a few sizable patches already, another looks set to arrive before the devs head off on their (extremely well-earned) Christmas break. Grinding Gear has dropped a preview of what's to come in this update, and for those struggling to survive POE 2's endgame, I've got good news for you.

hello kitty retro collection

IP4 will release a retro throwback collection of Hello Kitty gachapon toys in December 2024. The 70s Design Collection uses the older Hello Kitty design on nostalgic goods you might've bought or used in your childhood.

In total, there are six possible prizes to get in this collection. They are:

  • Bandana (red or blue)
  • Pencil case
  • Square pouch (red or yellow)
  • Tissue case

It costs 400 JPY ($2.60) each attempt.

The basic design for Hello Kitty hasn't changed since she first appeared on the market in 1975. She looks like a white mouthless cat with a red bow next to her left ear. The Hello Kitty retro collection doesn't have the variety of poses she has now, though, and the colors of the goods seem bolder than modern merchandise from Sanrio. Aside from Kitty, the designs on the merchandise are reminiscent of the past as well. They look busy due to the checkered look, and each block contains a picture.

2025 would mark the 50th anniversary of Hello Kitty's first appearance, and Sanrio has released many goods and collaborated with various companies to celebrate this. Goods started appearing as early as in late 2023. Companies like Clinique, Takara Tomy, and Crocs have released commemorative merchandise for the anniversary as well.

The IP4 Hello Kitty retro collection will appear in gachapon machines in Japan in December 2024.

natsume's book of friends game

The very first game adaptation for Natsume's Book of Friends (Natsume Yujincho) has been announced. More information on it will come out on December 23, 2024.

The title of the game is Natsume's Book of Friends: Hazuki no Shirushi. There is absolutely no information on the publisher, developer, platform, genre, or release window. However, as mentioned earlier, we'll learn more about it on December 23, 2024. The information will come out at 1:00 AM JST, which would convert to 8:00 AM PST/11:00 AM EST of December 22, 2024.

Natsume's Book of Friends is a long-running manga series that started serialization in 2003. An anime adaptation came out in 2008 and is still ongoing. The story follows Takashi Natsume, an orphan boy who didn't have any friends due to his ability to see yokai. He later comes to possess his grandmother Reiko's Book of Friends, which she used to take the names of yokai and bind them to her will. With the help of the spirit Madara (whom Takashi nicknames Nyanko-sensei due to him looking like a fat mascot cat), he resolves to return the names of all the yokai in the book.

Natsume's Book of Friends is available on Crunchyroll, and you can read the manga via Viz. More information on Natsume's Book of Friends: Hazuki no Shirushi will come out on December 23, 2024 JST.
