The Path of Exile 2 endgame gives you access to a sprawling map called Atlas, and it's your job to cleanse the corruption across the land, starting at a temple in the center of Atlas called Ziggurat. From there, you can open portals using Waystones and select a tier to conquer, and on successfully doing so, open up more areas to explore. Each level in Atlas has a combination of randomized monsters, with over 400 monster types in early access, and you need to defeat all powerful and unique enemies within that map to progress deeper into Atlas. The Path of Exile 2 endgame is hundreds of hours long, with seven systems and added progression to the Path of Exile 2 ascension. Infold Games released the patch notes for the Infinity Nikki December 18, 2024 maintenance period, and the ability cutscene skip ability will be enhanced when it happens. The company also confirmed that the limited time Revelation Crystals for Butterfly Dream and Blooming Fantasy will expire for the current banners when maintenance starts and says to use them before then, while also noting that everyone will get 100 Diamonds and a Resonate Crystal after maintenance to claim between December 18-25, 2024. Maintenance will last one hour and start at 6pm PT/9pm ET and last one hour.
The Infinity Nikki ability cutscene skip function will specifically be adjusted for Animal Grooming and Fishing. Previously, the game required you to press and hold the skip button in order to fast forward through the grooming action and get to the result. In the case of gathering materials from brushing animals, it will also be enhanced so it takes less time. Infold also said the Skip button will change to "O/X" on a PS5 and "A/B" on a PC, depending on your controller and region, to avoid scenes.
Other changes also involve feedback from players. For example, if you are using a controller, you'll see Mira Level and your Health at all times. That doesn't appear at the moment on PCs and mobile devices. We'll also be able to determine how sensitive the camera will be. A PV preview will appear on banners, which you can watch for free Blings, and the animations and Diamond Exchange will be faster and easier for that. The Well of Fortune: Waterway Begins platforming will be adjusted as well. Finally, going forward, you'll see an increase in score at Mira Crown Pinnacle Contest for pieces with the Formal and Trendy labels.
Infold Games also shared images of the new paid outfits that will be joining Infinity Nikki after the December 18, 2024 maintenance on Weibo. Here are the three new styles. One of them also has an evolved form variant.
In addition to those new paid outfits, new limited-time banners and events will also debut after maintenance ends.
Infinity Nikki is available for the PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and maintenance will begin at 6pm PT/9pm ET on December 18, 2024.

One of the fun asides in Honkai: Star Rail is that when you use characters and bring up the menu, you'll watch them pull up their cell phones and see their personal cases. To help people get a better idea of what some of them prefer, HoYoVerse shared the official art for 12 of these designs online.
In each case, the cell phone case for the Honkai: Star Rail character either references elements of their designs, their role in the game, or their interests. For example, IPC member Topaz has a pet Warp Trotter named Numby, and her case has three warp trotters on a scale against a red background. Huohuo, the Ten-Lords Commission Judge in charge of ghost hunting who is possessed by Tail the heliobus has a Ghostbusters-like image of a ghost that resembles her with the "no symbol" around it. Argenti's has a "solitary rose" on what is presumably the statue of Idrila with a golden frame around it. Ruan Mei's has strands reminiscent of DNA. On Misha's, he's sitting alongside a stuffed, white bear and looking upward at the stars.

Most of the characters this time tend to be ones that appeared earlier in the game. There are no phones shown for playable characters who debuted after 2.0. Odds are, we'll eventually see the company release more updates such as this to cover later 2.0 and eventual 3.0 additions to the roster.
Honkai: Star Rail is available for the PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the 3.0 update is expected to arrive in January 2025.

Square Enix and Mistwalker announced that there's a way to test out if you'll like Fantasian Neo Dimension ahead of buying it now, as it released a demo after launch. It debuted the evening of December 16, 2024. It is immediately available on consoles and Windows PCs. It isn't on iOS devices or Macs, as the original game is still part of the Apple Arcade subscription.
Here are the direct links to the Fantasian Neo Dimension demo on each storefront. Note that the full game costs $49.99.
The companies didn't note how long this trial is. However, it does include a sample of the introduction. This means that once you go through it, you can make saves and then eventually carry those over to the full version if you choose to purchase it. No bonuses were mentioned for doing so. (In some cases, a game may offer additional items or equipment if you carry over a save file.)
As a reminder, this version of Fantasian isn't just the full game all at once. (The Apple Arcade version released while in-development in two parts.) It also includes a new difficulty option and extra music that can be used as the soundtrack while you play.
Fantasian Neo Dimension is immediately available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and everyone can find a free demo online now. The original Fantasian is available via Apple Arcade for Macs and iOS devices.

Kadokawa announced that the new volume 16 of the popular Yotsuba manga series will finally release in Japan on February 26, 2025. This is the first volume of the manga to release in 4 years, and it is now available for pre-order in Japan. [Thanks, Oricon!]
The new Yotsuba manga volume is 256 pages long and it includes a newly drawn 46-pages special chapter as well. The last Yotsuba volume to release prior to the newly announced came out on February 27, 2021 in Japan. Meanwhile, it's North American English release date was September 28, 2021.
The story of Yotsuba follows the titular protagonist Yotsuba Koiwai, an energetic, curious, and naïve 5-year-old girl that is discovering the world and experiencing plenty of adventures alongside her adoptive father, her friends, neighbors, and community. While the story of Yotsuba started in summer, the new volume 16 will focus on her winter adventures.
As a reminder, Good Smile Company announced the release of a Nendoroid figure of Yotsuba herself wearing winter clothes back in May 2023. The figure came out in October of the same year in Japan.
Volume 16 of the Yotsuba manga will release in Japan on February 26, 2025. Yen Press handles the English release of the manga.

Artist Yusuke Kozaki commented on the design of the new Palico companion introduced in Monster Hunter Now. The new Palico is named Senpai-kun and its design features a sporty neon yellow hoodie jacket, as well as paw guards.
The hoodie is fitted to give room for the Felyne's ears, and the design uses magenta as an accent. The character is also carrying a backpack and has an extra slot for a bottle. In contrast with the grounded fantasy designs of the mainline Monster Hunter series, the new Palico character is wearing a contemporary sports and fitness attire.
In regards to this design, Yusuke Kozaki shared a message through his X (Twitter) account explaining that he pursued aspects of cuteness and functionality that can be found in the real world. As a reminder, Capcom launched Season 4: Roars from the Winterwind, the new major update to Monster Hunter Now on December 12, 2024. The update adds new monsters to fight, and it introduced the Switch Axe weapon to the mobile game.
Monster Hunter Now is readily available for Android and iOS mobile devices.
