Survival RPG Chernobylite 2 asks fans to crowdfund a heavily-requested feature

It's safe to say that Chernobylite 2 doesn't lack ambition. While its first-person survival RPG predecessor was relatively successful, the upcoming sequel is aiming much higher, switching to a third-person view and adding loads more RPG systems. However, to realize that ambition, developer The Farm 51 is looking for some help, and has just launched a Kickstarter to help make Chernobylite 2 "bigger, better, and more badass."

Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana Secret Bosses Guide

Once you've finished the main story of Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana, you might think you've seen all of the challenges the game has to offer. There are multiple difficulty settings to take on, but if you want to face off against the ultimate test there are a couple more hurdles to clear. Here's how to fight the secret bosses in Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana.

Where Are the Secret Bosses in Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana?

Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana difficulty select

If you're looking for these tough fights in the land of Felghana, you're not going to find them. Instead, you'll need to complete the game and unlock the Time Attack mode. You can do this on any difficulty, but if you want to battle both of the secret bosses, you're going to need to put in some serious work. Once you've satisfied the conditions, you'll find the secret bosses in the Extra section of the Time Attack mode.

How Do I Fight Berhardt?

Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana - Adol and Berhardt

Berhardt is the man who trained Dogi and Chester, and he's not the sort to fool around. If you want to clash with him, you're going to have to prove yourself first. Beat the full Boss Rush in Time Attack on any difficulty level to unlock this fight. This one doesn't take too much work, since you can just run through the main game and Time Attack at the lowest difficulty. Don't get used to that breezy level of challenge. Berhardt plays for keeps and you'll have to pull out all of the stops to beat him. He's not even the worst nightmare, however.

How Do I Fight Black Pikkard?

Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana - some regular Pikkards

Compared to unlocking Berhardt, gaining access to the fight with this highly adorable, highly dangerous beast is going to take some real skills. First of all, you'll need to complete the main game on Nightmare difficulty. This will allow you to play the Boss Rush in Time Attack on Nightmare difficulty, and that's just what you'll need to do next. Oh, but you aren't finished yet. Once you complete the Boss Rush on Nightmare, you'll unlock Inferno difficulty for the main mode. You'll now need to play through the game again on Inferno difficulty. Once you complete it, you'll finally have earned the right to take arms against the mighty Black Pikkard. Good luck!

Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana is now available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.

Ys Memoire Augite Brooch

Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana brings the classic to the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4/5 in style. While it's a relatively straightforward game, there are a few reasons to venture off the beaten path now and then. Of all of these misadventures Adol can get wrapped up in, only one can truly be missed. If you want the precious reward, you'll have to know when, where, and how to check this quest off. Here's where to find the Augite Brooch in Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana.

When and Where Can I Complete the Quest for the Augite Brooch?

Ys Memoire: Oath in Felghana - Go North

The timing is critical for this quest. After taking a complimentary trip to the Zone of Lava and meeting the ever-so-friendly Gyalva, Lord of the Blazing Prison, Adol will find himself back in the town of Redmont. Before heading into the Abandoned Mine to continue with the story, you'll want to make a little side trip. Head out from Redmont, then go north at the first intersection. Just keep making your way north and you'll eventually reach our destination, Valestein Castle.

Where Do I Find the Augite Brooch?

Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana - Valestein Castle

You'll receive the Augite Brooch from none other than Count McGuire's wife, Elizabetha, at Valestein Castle. She isn't just going to hand it out to anyone who comes knocking on the front door, though. No, you would have to do a pretty big favor to get that kind of rare prize. Still, Adol is a man for whom nature often provides. In this case, that will take the form of a lost child. When you reach the castle, you'll be met at the doors by Fran and Andre, who have a real problem on their hands. The young master of the castle, Christof, has gone missing! Without any other options, the pair ask Adol to find him.

Where Can I Find Christof?

Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana - Illburns Ruins

Fortunately, he hasn't gone too far. Use your Wing Talisman to zip directly to Illburns Ruins: Outside. Hey, it's Christof! It would be really easy if you could just teleport back, but that's not how any of this works. You'll have to hoof it back, and Christof isn't exactly fleet of foot. Head southwest and you'll end up back at the fork outside of Redmont, where you can simply head north again to Valestein Castle. The twist is that you'll also need to keep Christof safe as you go. By this point, none of the monsters on the way will be much of a threat to Adol, but Christof can only take a couple of hits. Take out any dangers as soon as possible.

What Does the Augite Brooch Do?

Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana - The Augite Brooch

Once you bring Christof to the front doors of Valestein Castle, you'll be treated to a cutscene. After it plays out, Elizabetha will reward you with the Augite Brooch and you'll be shown out. It's an interesting encounter, and the prize is a nice one. The Augite Brooch makes enemies drop even more goodies when you defeat them, and that's a win all around. Just make sure you find the Augite Brooch before you head into the Abandoned Mines or you'll miss out for good!

Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana is now available for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
