V Rising castle heart – how to stop decay

Building a V Rising castle is one of the most important aspects of this vampiric survival game. After you've chosen your V Rising server and started your journey from frail undead to vampire lord, you'll find yourself out in the gorgeous Farbane Woods with a task to begin making your first home. So while it's relatively obvious that you'll need to chop down trees and mine stone, you're also going to need to gather some V Rising blood essence to get your bloodsucker's abode up and running.

However, building a V Rising castle is just the easy part. You must maintain your castle heart at all times in order to keep your boundaries and walls from decaying. A little drop of the red stuff goes a long way, but if you don't take good care of your castle heart, your home - and all your hard-earned plunder - will become vulnerable to invaders.

So to ensure that your V Rising castle doesn't fall into a state of disrepair, we'll go through the basics of what resources you need to build your vampiric pad and how to stop your castle heart from decaying.

How to get servants in V Rising

If you're just starting out in this vampire game then you've probably seen the option to fill your base with V Rising servants coffins when interacting with your castle heart. Unfortunately, you'll have to make a serious amount of progress through the main questline in order to craft them, and then get even further to fill your coffins with enthralled humans. The good news is that despite the process being a bit long-winded, it's definitely worth it as you can build an army of nine V Rising servants to head out into the world and plunder on your behalf.

Better still, no two V Rising servants are likely to be the same, so even when you've got some mindless minions under your spell, there's plenty more work to be done if you want to make them into a formidable fighting force.

To help you get started on your path to server domination, we've assembled everything you need to know about recruiting V Rising servants, as well as some information on the different types of servants and how to improve them.

Play Stellaris free this weekend for its 6th birthday

Shockingly, Stellaris is now six entire normal Earth years old. The space exploration grand strategy game has changed a lot over its journey, and to celebrate the occasion, Paradox is inviting everyone in to try conquering the galaxy this weekend. Now through May 23, Stellaris is free to try on Steam.

For players who've been traveling among Stellaris celestial bodies since the start, there's more good news: a hotfix is out today for the most recent major update, which arrived alongside the new Overlord expansion. Game director Stephen Muray says this hotfix includes several updates that had initially been planned for a patch later in the month, thanks to the fact that "the team was absolutely on fire".

There are some key updates and rebalances in version 3.4.3 that address issues players have run into since the launch of Overlord. Now you can declare war on a new country immediately when a planet revolts, rather than having to sit through a 10-year truce first, and revolts should no longer start and then immediately cancel.

TWAB confirms more Destiny 2 Vault space and reveals new Trials armour

A new Destiny 2 season is imminent, and today's This Week at Bungie post covers more of the changes that will be coming May 24 with its arrival. However, what may be the biggest news is tucked away in the patch notes section: Destiny 2 Vault space is finally increasing, although perhaps not quite as much as players had hoped.

Vault space has been a bit of a pain point for Destiny 2 players for quite a while, and the problem has only gotten worse as new seasons and expansions have introduced new gear to the far-ranging MMO game. It's an engineering problem rather than an intentional design decision, however, and Bungie says it's working on ways to increase the amount of Vault space available to each player.

For now, however, we can expect Vaults to expand by 100 slots, going from the current 500 slots to a somewhat roomier 600. "While we know this doesn't enable players to save every single piece of loot in the game, the team was able to pull some strings and get a little more space for your Vaults as they continue to investigate further solutions," Bungie senior community manager Dylan 'dmg04' Gafner writes in today's post.

Review: Knotwords is Perfect for Logical Logophiles Games Like Wordle

Have you ever looked at a crossword and thought, "This makes me think, but not as much as I'd like?" Perhaps you played a few KenKen puzzles and considered it not your thing due to the use of numbers? Maybe you started getting into puzzle games with Wordle and want to move on to something new like it. Knotwords combines elements from all three into something that feels distinctly refreshing. It is familiar, but at the same time original. Not to mention it relies on someone being logical and tapping into their vocabulary to succeed.

At its core, Knotwords looks a lot like a crossword and plays a lot like KenKen. There is a grid in front of you. You need to place words into it. Some will cross over into others vertically and/or horizontally, meaning they'll share letters. Like KenKen, certain squares in the grid are grouped together to form cages. In the upper left corner of the upper left square in a cage, you'll see all of the letters for that group. Each one can only be used once. Your goal is to use the information available to figure out every word in the puzzle. If you get it right, you see the filled-in word. Enter a wrong answer, and red scribbles show you that it is incorrect. Also, as you fill in letters, the remaining empty squares in a cage will show which remaining letters could fit there.

games like wordle crossword puzzle kenken

All Knotwords puzzles require deductive reasoning. For example, a good way to start is to fill in words with only two or three letters. The number of cages and letters available are a good way to narrow down options as well. This lets you lock in a few "guaranteed" words. After that, looking for uncommon letters can help. Have a word with a "Q" in it? You'll likely need a "U" after it. If you have a five-letter word that already is shown to start with an "O" and end with an "N" and "E," and see a letter in a cage that is part of it is "Z," then you've got yourself an "ozone." It can also help if you get a cage that covers a single line. So say you have a row of four squares all in one cage. "O," "S," "Y," and "R" are the options. The word that works is "rosy."

The hint system is when another crossword element comes into play. When stumped, you can ask the Knotwords rabbit for a clue. You'll be able to pick a line in the puzzle to get a definition. So in one case, it might say, "Simple past tense and past participle of a four letter word," then elaborate to explain what that four letter word can be. In this way, even if you are having trouble working out the positions on your own, it takes a more traditional approach from another iconic puzzle. Depending on the mode, you'll either be limited to a certain number of hints or see each hint used add to your puzzle's overall time.

Review: Knotwords is Perfect for Logical Logophiles

What's convenient is Knotwords is designed to be played both on a daily basis or in longer sessions. When you enter the game, you'll have Puzzlebooks for the month or Daily Puzzles to choose from. In the May 2022 Puzzlebooks, you'll have a full month to complete 30 Standard and 30 Tricky challenges. You'll have 6/6 hints to use in these puzzles, which carry over, and you'll earn one more hint to replenish used ones after each one. Standard puzzles will feature more typical words, while the Tricky ones will involve words someone might not be immediately familiar with.

As for the dailies, there are Daily Mini, Daily Classic, and Daily Twist options available. All of these rely on a system in which hints add to your total time. The Daily Mini is the shortest, as you might expect. These tend to be easy, and you get one per day. You can even go back and check ones from past days on the calendar, if you missed the seven for the current week. The Daily Classics are slightly larger and more challenging. Again, the calendar lets you go back and select ones you missed.

Review: Knotwords is Perfect for Logical Logophiles

The Daily Twist is a sprawling puzzle that adds nonogram elements. It is also the most satisfying of all Knotwords puzzles, in my opinion. Along the top and side of the puzzle are numbers. These tell you how many vowels are in that line overall. So you not only have to keep track of the letters in the cages to complete the task, but check to make sure the vowels match too. In a way, this makes things easier for you. You're being held accountable in an additional way. But at the same time, it can also force you to think a little harder about your choices. Because right away, it can rule out some of the first options that come to mind.

What I love most about Knotwords is sometimes, figuring out the positions of all letters in one cage or one word in a puzzle can cause everything else to fall into place. It's like you found the right domino and tipped it over, and everything else makes sense when you do. Finishing a puzzle in under a minute with no hints is exhilarating.

Another great thing is Knotwords is accessible. Yes, some puzzles can have longer words. But there are usually tons of smaller words that help you gradually suss out the more complex or unorthodox entries. You can stop and save at any time, then return to the game. If you get a hint, it will be quite detailed. The visual cues to show accidentally repeating a used letter, incorrect entries, highlighted squares, and suggestions are all clear and visible. It is also quite easy to play on a PC, with the natural progression of inputs not requiring you to go back and click each individual square.

games like wordle crossword

In short, Knotwords is clever. It is the kind of game that regularly gives you a reason to return to it. There are minor variations to make it more challenging or accommodate people learning how to play. It's also rather accessible, in terms of the UI, offering hints, and visibility. It is definitely a game folks who enjoy Wordle, crossword, and KenKen puzzles should check out.

Knotwords is available for PCs and both Android and Apple iOS devices.

FFVII Remake Intergrade Trademark Filed Ahead of June 2022 Announcements

It seems the June 2022 Final Fantasy VII 25th anniversary announcements could include something related to FFVII Remake Intergrade. A Japanese trademark appeared on May 20, 2022 related to the game. Square Enix first filed for them on May 12, 2022. As expected, it covers a number o fronts, like software. [Thanks, Gematsu!]

There are a few situations a new FFVII Remake Intergrade trademark could apply to. This could perhaps relate to ports. The game first debuted on the PS4 in April 2020, before the Intergrade version showed up on the PS5 in June 2021. The PC iteration of it then showed up on the Epic Games Store in December 2021. Due to timing and exclusivity arrangements, this could mean an Xbox release is on the way. Or, since Square Enix did so with Kingdom Hearts, a Switch cloud version.

The next round of FFVII announcements will come in June 2022. Tetsuya Nomura confirmed them during the second FFVII The First Soldier livestream. He didn't name any specific games that could appear. However, in addition to the remake and battle royale title, FFVII Ever Crisis is in development. There could also be news about the next part of the remake.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is available for the PlayStation 4. FFVII Remake Intergrade is out on the PlayStation 5 and PC via Epic Games Store.

The first two are easy enough to acquire, but you have to check specific locations for the third. So, go ahead and open your map. You should spot a Bandit Encampment in the southern section of Farbane Woods (close to the southwest teleporter). When you get to this location, you'll see several hostiles. Those that ar...

Frogwares game concept art lighthouseA few months ago, we covered developer Frogwares' surprising decision to put out major DLC for Sherlock Holmes Chapter One during a difficult time. A Ukrainian studio, Frogwares has had the lives of its employees massively affected by the war in Ukraine — which has continued since late February. This would have made a potential decision by Frogwares to suspend its work understandable, but the studio has instead chosen to continue developing projects. And now, Frogwares demonstrated that it still remains undeterred by the conflict, as it announced that a new game in the works. This does not mean that the war hasn't had an effect on Frogwares' planned releases. It did have to suspend its work on a new open-world game. This new project will have a smaller, more streamlined scope, which should make things more manageable for the developers during this time.   What all has Frogwares revealed? For now, Frogwares has only chosen to reveal four concept images and ...

Historical 4X game Old World arrives on Steam with free DLC

As the prophecy foretold, historical 4X game Old World has spread its influence to new lands. The strategy game by Civilization IV lead designer Soren Johnson is now available on Steam and GOG, and a new DLC campaign is available free for new players and existing owners alike.

Old World stays rooted in the ancient era, trading the centuries of advancement featured in games like Civilization and Humankind for a more family-centric focus, akin to Paradox's dynastic grand strategy game series Crusader Kings. While you're scouting the map looking for the juiciest resource tiles, you'll also have to keep an eye on things at home: there are marriages to arrange and nobles to appease, and every decision you make matters.

Along with the launch on new storefronts, Old World receives its first expansion, dubbed Heroes of the Aegean. If you already own Old World on the Epic Games Store, you should find this in the game scenarios menu in-game. For new players picking it up in the next two weeks on Steam or GOG, the DLC is free.

This Razer wireless gaming mouse is at its lowest price ever

Coming up with a wireless gaming mouse as players try to shave every gram they can off their rodent is no mean feat, but the Razer Viper Ultimate gives the best of both worlds. Packing a battery that lasts up to 70 hours if you don't mind flicking the Chroma RGB lighting off, this clicker sits in your palm at just 74 grams, and it's currently the cheapest it's ever been on Amazon.

If you act quickly, you can get the Razer Viper Ultimate for $79.99, which is nearly half the price of its MSRP. Yes, you can currently find the gaming mouse even cheaper at Best Buy with a $69.99 price tag, but there's one crucial difference: this one comes bundled with the charging dock and it's well worth the extra ten dollars.

Not only does the charging dock look good, threading your setup together with RGB lighting and propping your rodent up as a showpiece when it's juicing up, it's also a good indicator of your device's battery life. Razer uses a traffic light system to indicate what percentage battery life you have left, and while you could just use the Razer logo on the device itself when wired, it's far easier to spot from across the room using the stand.

     V Rising system requirements

The V Rising system requirements are finally here as the vampire-themed survival game's early access period begins. While many an ageing gaming PC should be able to handle running the undead adventure, developer Stunlock Studios outright recommends equipping yourself with the best gaming CPUs on the market and the minimum RAM requirement is on the higher side.

It's worth noting that given the nature of early access development, the V Rising system requirements are subject to change. However, as of right now you'll need a processor as powerful as an Intel Core i5-6600 or AMD Ryzen 5 1500X in order to sink your teeth into the game. That said, there's quite a gap between the minimum and recommended specs when it comes to CPUs, as V Rising will run best on rigs packing an Intel Core i5-11600K or AMD Ryzen 5 5600X.

Meanwhile the rest of the V Rising System requirements likely won't have you screaming bloody murder, as the recommended graphics cards top out at the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 and AMD Radeon RX 590. Just make sure you don't trip up by missing the gaming RAM requirement of 12GB.

Stardew Valley mod replaces cosy RPG's critters with Pokemon

A new Stardew Valley mod transforms the game's creatures into Pokemon, and even turns plants into pocket monster pals. The project adds various textures to the country-life RPG, effectively converting it into a super relaxing version of Game Freak's longstanding critter catching extravaganza.

Created by TheKrominator, the Stardew Valley mod gives the life game's textures and sprites a lick of Pokemon paint. Dubbed 'Pokemania: The Return', the modder reveals that this is actually a reimagining of a previous project, with the latest version adding over 50 Pokedex entries into the mix, including shiny variants.

Pokemarts and Pokecenters also make an appearance within the Stardew Valley mod, which effectively transforms the setting into a Kanto inspired backdrop. There's even an added element of mischief and shenanigans, as there's a chance you'll run into Team Rocket on your adventure.

V Rising whetstone recipe – item location and crafting guide

The humble V Rising whetstone is one of the most valuable resources you need to find for crafting in the game. You need whetstone to build some of the key facilities in your base, such as a grinder to cut stone into bricks. However, it's not an item you can get easily in this vampire-themed crafting game.

You have two options if you want to find V Rising whetstone. You can find it out in the world by looting specific enemies or you can unlock the ability to craft it from the comfort of your very own V Rising castle. The latter is far less stressful and time-consuming, but you have to hunt down one of the many bosses and kill them before you can craft these valuable items.

Of course, this is all on top of maintaining your castle's V Rising blood essence levels, which you need to keep topped up to keep your machines whirring away and your base from decaying. There's a lot to keep track of in the RPG game, so to help you out, here's where you can find whetstone in V Rising and everything you need to do to unlock the ability to craft whetstone from raw materials.

     V Rising blood essence guide

V Rising blood essence is what makes your vampiric world go around. You use it to keep your castle from decaying, you can replenish your health from it, and it's an essential resource for crafting new gear and buildings. However, it's not always clear in the early access vampire game how to efficiently get hold of it and what you should be doing with it once you've built up a vast blood bank.

For starters, you can't get V Rising blood essence from every enemy type in the game - it might surprise you to learn that those undead skeletons are pretty dry. When you do find enemy types whose veins are coursing with crimson, you gain different traits by slurping the sanguine of different enemy types. Eventually - when you get beyond the first few hours of V Rising - you'll come across craftables and new buildings that require 'greater blood essence', which is even harder to get hold of.

To help you unclot the whole thing, we've prepared a quick guide to V Rising blood essence, showing you how to get it, what it's used for, and how to get the rarer 'greater blood essence' variant.

Geil puts tiny fans on DDR5 RAM to keep your gaming PC cool

Upgrading your gaming PC with DDR5 RAM may feel unnecessary right now, but its lightning-fast speeds will soon become the standard as we move into the future. However, with great performance comes higher temperatures and we are now officially living in the era of fan-cooled memory sticks (and yes, they have RGB LEDs).

Geil has officially launched the Evo V, the first kit of DDR5 RAM to feature active cooling, in the form of two teeny tiny fans on the corners of the heatshield. The manufacturer says that its admittedly charming solution helps to keep the modules' operating temperatures "in an ideal thermal range" by providing "approximately 45% more thermal disappation than traditional [methods]."

The Geil Evo V seems like a monstrous example of just how fast DDR5 RAM can get, with speeds of up to 6,600MHz it's no wonder it needs a dual fan cooling setup. You can make it look even cooler with its 'glacier white' color theme, but you can pick it up in grey too.

The Witcher 3 next gen upgrade is coming this year after all

Hot on the heels of the announcement that the project had been indefinitely delayed, developer CD Projekt Red now says The Witcher 3's next-gen upgrade will be ready to launch later this year. The studio now plans to release the upgrade in late 2022.

"Let's make this 7th anniversary even better, shall we?" reads a tweet to the official Witcher account. "We're delighted to share that the next gen version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is planned to release in Q4 2022. See you on the Path, witchers!"

Just last month, CD Projekt announced that the remaining work on The Witcher 3's next-gen upgrade would be handled by the publisher's in-house development team, who took over the project from Saber Interactive, the developer behind remakes like the Crysis: Remastered series and the Halo: The Master Chief Collection. CDPR did not specify why responsibilities for the upgrade had been shifted to the in-house team, but said it was delaying the planned second quarter release date as it evaluated "the scope of work to be done".

Fallout 4 mod trailer shows off 18 minutes of Fallout London

Fallout London is an ambitious Fallout 4 mod that injects British culture into Bethesda's iconic RPG game, and a new trailer gives us a good glimpse at its gameplay. As is tradition, things kick off with a husky 'War never changes' monologue, followed by the usual Vault dweller trying to find their feet.

Clocking in at just over 18 minutes long, the new Fallout 4 mod trailer shows off the project's lick of London themed paint, as well as new UI elements and textures. If you've spent a significant amount of time roaming around the world of Fallout 4, you'll no doubt notice the difference within this overhaul, as even the game's wearable Pip-Boy has been spruced up.

As is expected, the Fallout London features a few, well, Londoners, but the mod throws a few famous voices into the mix. In fact, the trailer actually features two Doctor Who actors, with Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy contributing their talent to the spinoff.

Free game: get Borderlands 3 free as Epic's Mega Sale kicks off

It's Thursday again, which means another free PC game from the Epic Games Store. This is a special Thursday over at Epic, however, because it marks the start of the Epic Mega Sale, and to start things off Epic is giving away free copies of the madcap co-op game Borderlands 3.

For those who haven't played the third mainline Borderlands game yet, it's a bigger and even more outrageous spin on the massively popular looter-shooter series, pitting a new gang of vault hunters against some nasty new foes - specifically, an intergalactic sibling streamer duo. Borderlands 3 also features return appearances by many of the series' beloved characters, and by Gearbox's count it has something like one billion different guns in it, too.

Borderlands 3 will be free on the Epic Store until May 26 at 8am PT / 11am ET / 4pm BST, at which point it will be replaced with another game from 'The Vault'. Epic says the four-week Mega Sale will feature a new free 'tentpole' game, so expect some heavy hitters over the next few weeks.

The latest Windows 11 update really wants you to use Microsoft Bing

Microsoft has just released the latest Windows 11 update for dev testers, and the Insider Preview Build 25120 looks as you'd probably expect with bug fixes and performance improvements. However, amidst the otherwise pedestrian change log lies the addition of a new widget that attempts to further bridge the gap between your gaming PC and everyone's favourite search engine punching bag: Bing.

In a blog post, Microsoft says it's looking into "lightweight interactive content" for its operating system, with the first Windows 11 update bringing about a Bing-powered search box that allows you to search the web without having to open your browser. For those who can't stand anything getting in the way of their beautifully curated desktop wallpaper (like myself), you'll be glad to know it can be toggled at will.

Here's hoping that Microsoft is benevolent enough to allow users to customise the search engine that powers this widget, be your preference of the Google or other varieties.

Apex Legends weapons tier list: the best guns in Season 13

Trying to find the definitive Apex Legends weapons tier list? Apex Legends may host a smaller pool of players to the usual battle royale, with 60 players instead of 100, but you'll still need a fine selection of modded guns to ensure that "you are the champion" screen rolls.

Breaking down the Apex Legends weapons tier list can be tricky due to the variety of attachments in the battle royale game. The attachments in Apex Legends can completely transform a weapon, taking a gun from the lowest tier right to the very top. We'll highlight which weapons need attachments to ensure you get the most out of these guns. Our weapons tier list assumes each gun is fully kitted out with the best attachments.

We've laid waste to many training dummies - and practise mannequins, too - to bring you a weapons tier list that dives into what makes every gun tick, what ammo you need, and what mods will best optimise their performance to ensure that you too can become a legend. So, here are the Apex Legends weapons tier list.

GTA podium car: here's what vehicle you can win in GTA Online

What is the GTA podium car this week? GTA Online vehicles are expensive things, so we're happy to take a spin on the Diamond Casino's Lucky Wheel to get a discount. Winning isn't guaranteed, sure, but it isn't out of the question either. Look, we don't have a problem - leave it alone.

Finding out what the GTA Online podium car is simple enough - it's winning it that's the challenge. You can spin the Diamond Casino's Lucky Wheel once a day, and each Podium Car refreshes after seven days on a Thursday. Basically, you have seven shots to get the vehicle of that given week. If you own a Penthouse, you can spin it for free, but if you don't it's $500 a spin. Don't fret if you don't win, as you can try for something else.

You have a one in 20 chance of getting the podium vehicle, a car discount, or a mystery prize. There's a four in 20 chance of getting clothes, chips, and cash. Finally, there's a five in 20 chance of getting RP. On that note, here's everything you need to know about this week's GTA podium car.

Minecraft update 1.19 pre-release is playable now

Minecraft is constantly evolving. We get small glimpses of these evolutions thanks to the snapshots, even if players aren't always happy about it, but the biggest changes come via full updates, with the next one being Minecraft update 1.19. We've got good news; you can now check out 'The Wild' thanks to the 1.19 pre-release, which is now available to play.

While the latest Minecraft update isn't adding in everything previously promised, it's still bringing with it a fair amount of new content. The Wild introduces frogs, tadpoles, mangrove trees and swamps, the deep dark, ancient cities, the allay mob, and even the mighty Warden. We've been writing about some of these for a little while now, but 1.19 will fully integrate them into the sandbox game.

The official notes list some peculiar changes, with the most perplexing being that it slightly reduces the number of mangrove trees in mangrove swamps. The 1.19 pre-release also changes when item interaction vibrations happen and adds in an equip sound if you decide to plonk a pumpkin or skull on your head.

Apex Legends tier list: the best Legends to use in Season 13

With the release of Newcastle, Apex Legends players now have 21 Legends to choose from when taking on the battle royale known as the Apex Games. Each Legend has their own skills, playstyle, and personality, with plenty of choice for every type of player, whether you like to be aggressive, defensive, or offensive to the senses (cough – Caustic – cough).

Your ideal Legend pick depends on your strengths and weaknesses – your experience, gamesense, movement skills, and aim all factor in, as does your squad composition and whether you're playing with friends or a team of strangers. That said, although all the characters are relatively balanced, there are some Legends who have pulled away from the pack due to their powerful abilities, and some who are more niche picks. Our Apex Legends tier list aims to give you a quick look at the current Legend meta.

We've ordered the Legends here in order of general effectiveness, to help you decide who to play if you're after the big win. We're aiming this list at the average player who has a reasonable grasp of the game, but we'll also point out the best characters for absolute beginners, and mention the ones you'll see in top tier competitive play.

AMD Radeon graphics cards near MSRP, Nvidia GPU prices struggle

GPU prices for Nvidia RTX and AMD Radeon graphics cards are finally falling back down to MSRP, after unprecedented levels of demand compounded stock shortages caused by the pandemic. However, it appears that upgrading your gaming PC with one of team red's best graphics cards might be the better value play for some time yet.

In its most recent GPU pricing update, Hardware Unboxed says that the current price inflation of AMD Radeon graphics cards on Newegg has fallen to an average of 5%. Unfortunately, the Nvidia RTX 30 series is around 24% more expensive overall than it should be.

Comparing Hardware Unboxed's findings versus those from earlier this month indicates that graphics card prices in Europe are falling faster than in the United States, with Nvidia GPU prices averaging 14% above MSRP. The US does enjoy a minor victory though, as the cost of an AMD pixel pusher is marginally higher in the EU at 7%.

What is the current and next Genshin Impact banner?

Genshin Impact banners adhere to a pretty regular schedule. Each update arrives with a new banner that lasts around three weeks, and after it expires, it's followed by a second banner which also lasts roughly three weeks, at which point it's update time once again.

Wondering what the next Genshin Impact banner is? Even though we hear rumours of new Genshin Impact characters arriving in forthcoming updates, we won't know their exact release date until we know which banner they will be a part of, and whether it'll be the first or second banner in the update. Occasionally, banners don't stick to this schedule - most notably, update 1.3 had three two-week banners, so that Hu Tao's banner didn't cross over with the Chinese New Year.

Typically, each limited character banner - or Event Wish - contains a five-star character, and three four-star characters. There's also a Weapon banner - Epitome Invocation - which runs alongside each character banner, and features different weapons each time. Here's everything you need to know about the current and upcoming Genshin Impact banners.

Latest Battlefield 2042 update removes a whole playlist

A Battlefield 2042 update is incoming today, and it'll retire the shooter's 128-player Breakthrough playlist. Fans of the FPS game will still be able to dive into the original 128-player Conquest mode, but DICE claims a smaller player count makes for a more enjoyable experience.

In its Battlefield 2042 update 4.1 patch notes, DICE says trimming the Breakthrough playlist's player count "helps to remove some of the chaos from the experience." The developer also states that the move will enable squads to "work together and fulfil their individual roles," all while holding frontlines more effectively.

The patch notes highlight the importance of teamwork within Battlefield 2042, and DICE uses it as its main Breakthrough 64 selling point. Of course, the EA studio has touched on its ambitions to refine the futuristic FPS before now, as EA CEO Andrew Wilson highlights the importance of getting the "core game" right during a 2022 earnings call. The company's update decisions are also undoubtedly linked to the game's recent concurrent player downturn, as Steam stats for the month currently sit at an average of 2,351.

That's where a V Rising horse comes in handy. If you're in a V Rising server with other players who have been playing the game longer, you may have already seen them galloping around and looking smug, while you trudge through the forest on foot trying to avoid the sunlight. Horses are the only V Rising mounts available in the game right now, but you generally won't find them in the Farbane Woods area, which is where everyone starts in this RPG game. But it's worth trekking further afield before you start building a castle in V Rising, because horses are surprisingly easy to get hold of.

To help you achieve your equestrian dreams, we've rounded up some key tips on where to find a horse, how to mount it, and crucially, how to keep it alive.

The best VPN for gaming and streaming in 2022

You can build the best gaming PC and boost fps with all kinds of tips and tricks, but multiplayer games are still at the whim of your internet connection. Rather than forking out for a new router or threading a long Ethernet cable throughout your house to lower your ping, the best VPN for gaming might be all you need to speed up your connection.

While virtual private networks are known to slightly lower download speeds, that's not always the case. Internet service providers often throttle your speeds when you engage in bandwidth-heavy activities such as gaming, but since the best gaming VPN hides what you're doing from prying eyes, ISPs are none the wiser when you're connected to one. They also keep your IP address private, stopping DDoS attacks, swatting, and other nefarious things salty players on the enemy team have in mind.

Not all VPNs are built equally, however, and free versions just don't cut it. Fortunately, you can offset the cost of the subscription by using the VPN to hunt for better deals on games that are cheaper in other regions. You'll get more for your money if you subscribe in bulk, as a year costs less overall than the monthly subscription - and if you're still not convinced, you can try them out for yourself, as each of our suggestions has a free trial.

Nvidia GeForce GTX 1630 specs revealed, should launch May 31

Just a few short days after we first learned about the next Nvidia GPU, the GeForce GTX 1630, nearly all of the graphics card's specs have come to light. As you might expect, it's generally less powerful than its older siblings but it might be better for your gaming PC in some aspects with an unexpected improvement, too.

According to Videocardz, the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1630 will be based on the same TU117 GPU die found in the GTX 1650 albeit with cutdown specs. It'll feature less CUDA cores and a smaller 64-bit memory bus, leaving its bandwidth at 96GB/s compared to its sibling's 192GB/s. However, the petite pixel pusher will boast the same 4GB of GDDR6X VRAM, 12GBps memory clock, and 75W TDP.

Surprisingly, the GTX 1630 has a higher 1,800MHz boost clock. This looks good on paper, but we'll need to wait and see how these spec differences translate into real-world performance, when the graphics card hopefully launches on May 31. Given the imminent release date, we may get an official word from Nvidia during its Computex press conference.

Genshin Impact codes May 2022 – redeem free primogems

Looking for Genshin Impact codes? MiHoYo's charming open-world game is notoriously addictive, and if you're anything like us, you're constantly on the lookout for more Genshin Impact primogems and other goodies.

Gathering currency in Genshin Impact can be quite the grind - while you can earn mora and primogems by completing quests such as daily commissions, an injection of extra funds will always be gratefully received. Fortunately, the developers MiHoYo occasionally send out free gifts in the form of Genshin Impact codes that can be redeemed online.

These Genshin Impact codes are released periodically. They frequently appear in MiHoYo's special programs that reveal information about future updates coming to the game soon, but are also released to celebrate milestones or to coincide with Genshin Impact events. Most codes also only work for a limited time - so it's a good idea to redeem them as soon as possible in case you miss out. Codes can only be redeemed once per account. Here are all the current Genshin Impact codes for May 2022, and how to redeem them.

Evil Dead The Game sales pass 500,000 in just five days

Evil Dead The Game has sold over 500,000 copies in five days, and it's also raising hell in the UK boxed charts. The survival horror game slashed its way onto the scene last Friday, alongside Nvidia DLSS support that should help your gaming PC get in on the action.

Highlighted during Embracer Group's Q4 Report presentation, Sabre Interactive's CEO, Matthew Karch, says Evil Dead The Game sales are tracking better than the studio's previous licenced outing, World War Z. The studio's boss also expressed confidence in the horror hit's future by claiming "it's going to continue to kick butt" if it receives continued support.

Karch also takes a moment to highlight Evil Dead The Game's Metacritic success, as the co-op cabin caper is seemingly scoring "15-17 points higher" than Dead by Daylight at launch. At the moment, it's Epic Game Store exclusive, but it looks like its absence on Steam hasn't hampered its initial success.

The first time a PC seemed magical to me was when it dozed off and colourful lines twisted across its screen. I'd launch Windows 3.1 just to watch screensavers, marvelling at Mystify and staring at Starfield. How wonderful that our computer needed to dream as preventative medicine! I relived this today with a new collection of customisable 3D screensavers, watching shoals of fish, taking a road trip through a museum of global electricity pylons, watching housing estates rise and fall, and seeing so many swirly colours.

After some of the stuff we talked about in last week's episode, I decided to take us further down the giggle chute to talk about funny games in general. What games are funny? Why, and how? Is it easier for games to be funny when they're not trying to be? Should self-described funny games be avoided entirely?

Because of this, we end up talking about Blorko again. We also nearly come to war about the difference between randomly improvising funny stuff and deciding that saying 'egg' a lot of is funny. There is a difference, but you know it when you see it. Matthew's life is like a sitcom, and also we apologise to Henry Cavill for forgetting his birthday. Sorry Henry. Please come on the show.

Elysia Explains How to Use the Aponia Battlesuit in Honkai Impact 3rd

Now that Honkai Impact 3rd 5.7 is live, that means a new tutorial video. HoYoVerse always releases one to show exactly how the new S-rank battlesuits work after they debut. This time, Elysia is explaining how fellow Thirteen Flame-Chasers member Aponia behaves in Honkai Impact 3rd.

As is customary for these sorts of Honkai Impact 3rd trailers, Elysia begins by introducing Aponia. This is meant to help get a feel for the person's personality. Aponia feels she's sinned and needs to make amends, and she's connected to Discipline in the Thirteen Flame-Chasers. Elysia makes sure to emphasize that while she is powerful, strict, and stays in the dark, she's still a kind person.

After that, Elysia goes over the Aponia Disciplinary Perdition battlesuit and shows Honkai Impact 3rd gameplay footage. She begins with a look at the Conviction form. It shows how she can deal lightning damage when she's on and off the field when it is active. After that, it looks at normal attacks with her chakram and how she can enter her Conviction form. At just before the two minute mark, her Predictor's Sentence form shows up. That can only be triggered after building up Redemption while in Conviction. That causes thunderstorms that build up to Inhibitor's Adjudication when Redemption runs out.

Just before the four minute mark, some Elysian Realm tips and suggestions appear. These mention good Valkyries to include as supports for her and possible Remembrance Sigils to use.

Here's the full Disciplinary Perdition tutorial. If you turn on closed captions, there are English subtitles.

Honkai Impact 3rd is available for PCs and mobile devices.

Shaman King Season 1 Part 4 Release Date Confirmed in Netflix Trailer

The Shaman King reboot anime's story is about continue. Next week, people will be able to see the next batch of episodes. Netflix released a Shaman King season 1 part 4 trailer, and it confirmed a May 26, 2022 for this next batch of episodes.

Here's the new trailer teasing coming events in Shaman King part 4. It teases that the "end" is coming. We also see major characters like Yoh and Ana as they prepare for a final encounter. Due to the execution, however, there aren't too many spoilers shown.

At the moment, only the first three parts of Shaman King season 1 are live on Netflix. That covers episodes 1-38 of the reboot. Episode 38 aired in Japan back in January 2022. While Netflix didn't mention if this is the last batch of episodes for season 1, that would make sense. There are only 52 episodes, after all.

As for what's next, there is a Shaman King sequel in development. It will be based on Shaman King: Flowers. That is the follow-up starring Yoh and Ana's son, Hana Asakura. It will be the first adaptation of that storyline. The six volumes of that manga are available digitally in English via Kodansha.

Shaman King season 1 part 4 will come to Netflix on May 26, 2022. Parts 1-3 are available on the streaming service now.

My Hero One's Justice 2 Aoyama DLC Appears to Wrap Up Season Pass 2

The My Hero One's Justice 2 Season Pass 2 DLC rollout is at an end, as Yuga "Shining Hero: Can't Stop Twinkling" Aoyama joined the cast. People can buy him alone for $3.99. If they purchase or own the $19.99 Season Pass 2, he's immediately available to download. There's also a trailer showing exactly how he'll work in-game.

Aoyama gets his name in My Hero Academia due to his Navel Laser Quirk. As the name suggests, he can shoot a laser from his navel. The trailer shows how his combos can lead into using the laser after an array of punches and kicks. His special attacks tend to involve the laser at greater strengths, which means it can hit over a distance. At the end is a nod to the fact that overusing his ability can lead to him feeling unwell.

As an aside, if you are unfamiliar with My Hero Academia, it is best to avoid searching for Aoyama online. There are story spoilers connected to not only him, but some other My Hero One's Justice 2 DLC characters.

As a reminder, My Hero One's Justice 2 includes the Shinso, Present Mic, Kurogiri, Midnight, and Aoyama DLC characters. Like the first season pass, it only offered five extra characters. Though in Season Pass 1, Gentle and La Brava appeared together as a duo for the final character.

My Hero One's Justice 2 is available on the Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia, and Aoyama is available now as the final Season Pass 2 DLC character. My Hero Academia is available to watch on Crunchyroll and Viz Media is handling the manga. Season 6 of the show will appear in Fall 2022.

Gundam Game Fest 2022 Stream Will Be Held Next Week

A Gundam Game Fest is about to appear and, as someone might expect from the name, it will cover all sorts of current and upcoming Gundam games. On May 26, 2022, people will be able to watch a showcase at 3 p.m. PT/6 p.m. ET/12 a.m. CET. Folks can tune in on both Twitch and YouTube. Only three games are confirmed for the event, though "reveals" are promised.

One of the titles that will be shown off is the Overwatch-like FPS Gundam Evolution. This essentially makes each type of mobile suit a specific "character." The 6v6 title will have 12 mobile suits at launch. Microtransactions will be available. It is expected to appear in 2022 on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. This presentation could mean we'll get a release date for it.

The second of the Gundam games at the event will be Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2. This is currently available on the PS4 and PS5. However, a PC version of the game is in the works. It doesn't have a release date yet, but there was a network test in April 2022. Like Gundam Evolution, this showcase could lead to a release date announcement.

Finally, there's the Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC game SD Gundam Battle Alliance. That will be at the event and show off how things will go when the chibi versions of mobile suits fight. We haven't heard much about it since February 2022, so this could go over characters, Mobile Suits, story details, and online multiplayer possibilities. It is expected to launch in 2022.

Gundam Game Fest will be held at 3 p.m. PT/6 p.m. ET on May 26, 2022. (That's 12 a.m. CET on May 27, 2022.)

ACE COMBAT 7 SKIES UNKNOWN - TOP GUN Maverick Teaser

Pete "Maverick" Mitchell's F/A-18E Super Hornet from Top Gun: Maverick will appear in Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown. After announcing the collaboration DLC in late April 2022, Bandai Namco and Project Aces published a new teaser trailer showing the aircraft with a unique livery on YouTube. The teaser trailer shows the specially designed Super Hornet being placed in Ace Combat 7's story cutscenes, such as taking off from a carrier and leading a squadron.

[tnm_video layout="mnmd-post-media"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7ujkyWqbfo[/tnm_video]

The above trailer only showed Maverick's new Hornet. But when Project Aces teased more aircraft coming in the same DLC set on Twitter, it also included an F-14A Tomcat containing the names of Pete "Maverick" Mitchell and Nick "Goose" Bradshaw from the original 1986 Top Gun movie. The same Twitter account also shared a new smartphone wallpaper pairing Maverick's Hornet with an F/A-18F Super Hornet belonging to "Trigger," the protagonist of Ace Combat 7.

This DLC set will newly add the F/A-18E Super Hornet and F-14A Tomcat to Ace Combat 7. The game's original roster only included the F/A-18F and F-14D Super Tomcat variants. In November 2021, Project Aces released the Cutting-edge Aircraft Series DLC set that added the improved F/A-18F Super Hornet Block III.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It has surpassed three million units sold as of August 2021. The Top Gun: Maverick aircraft set DLC will appear on May 26, 2022—the day before the movie releases in theaters on May 27, 2022.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Attackers, Defenders, and Healers Videos Appear

In Xenoblade Chronicles 3, every one of the six main party members fills a certain role. Nintendo's earlier announcements went over that. Now, people can better visualize what that means. That's because Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Attacker, Defender, and Healer videos are available. Each one shows how one specific character would behave in a fight.

The first Xenoblade Chronicles 3 video focuses on Noah acting as an Attacker. He's constantly focused on dealing damage to the opponent in the teaser. It also shows the backstabbing sorts of attacks someone could do when a foe is distracted by allies.

Next is a Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Defender video starring Lanz. After he attacks the enemy and deals damage, it shows how the foe will stop targeting someone like Noah and go after him instead.

Finally, there's a Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Healer video that actually doesn't show Eunie healing. Instead, it focuses on something else the supporter can do. While she's attacking an opponent with other allies, it appears she uses her Myopic Screen attack, which then leaves a toppled enemy dazed.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will come to the Nintendo Switch on July 29, 2022.

Azur Lane HMS Hood - Chinese 5th Anniversary will reveal new Royal Navy UR shipgirl event

Azur Lane will have its Chinese 5th anniversary fall in late May 2022. Bilibili has put up a new webpage marking the anniversary with a countdown timer for a live stream that will air on May 22, 2022. The page also includes a teaser for a new Royal Navy major event featuring an Ultra Rare shipgirl that will appear on May 26, 2022.

Yostar has added new preparation events for the upcoming Royal Navy event on both the Japanese and English versions of Azur Lane through maintenance on May 19, 2022. The battleship HMS Warspite, cruiser HMS Sheffield, and battlecruisers HMS Renown and Repulse have received experience boosters ahead of the event. Deploying them at specific event boss battles will let the Commander gain more points to unlock an exclusive profile frame. The maintenance also added "Letters and Travels" event missions that feature a prelude story for the major event. Commanders will receive a Damaged Speech Manuscript as new equipment gear for completing these missions.

The previous major Royal Navy event, "Aurora Noctis," ran around July-August 2020. It added six new Royal Navy shipgirls, including the Dido-class cruiser HMS Hermione and the light carrier HMS Perseus. Manjuu and Yostar then added more characters from the same faction sporadically through smaller events, such as HMS Penelope in the 2021 Lunar New Year event and HMS Charybdis in 2022.

Azur Lane launched first in China on May 25, 2017. The mobile game is now available worldwide on Android and iOS devices. Yongshi and Manjuu will reveal more new content for the game through the Azur Lane Chinese 5th Anniversary live stream on Bilibili on May 22, 2022, at 19:00 UTC+8 (7 AM ET). The new Royal Navy event will appear on May 26, 2022.

We already knew Yelan would appear as the new five-star in this update. The teaser image for the presentation also shows Itto, suggesting rumors about his rerun banner are true. The update also confirmed this update will only be available for six week until 2.8 releases.

As for Genshin Impact 2.8, that is expected to appear on July 13, 2022. Since Yelan and Shinobu are expected to be the new characters for 2.7, it seems Heizou could be a part of 2.8.

In the meantime, this means another week of free delay compensation rewards. As a result of circumstances, HoYoVerse has been sending players virtual care packages in-game every Wednesday. On May 25, 2022, folks should get another "letter" with a Fragile Resin, 7 Hero's Wits, 16 Mystic Enhancement Ores, 400 Primogems, and 120,000 Mora.

Genshin Impact is available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and mobile devices. It will also come to the Nintendo Switch. The Genshin Impact 2.7 Special Program will air on May 20, 2022, and be followed by the update on May 31, 2022.

persona 2 nendoroids tatsuya maya header

The Persona 2 protagonists, Tatsuya Suou and Maya Amano, are ready to investigate...as Nendoroids. The two are available to pre-order from Good Smile Company. Tatsuya will appear as he does in Innocent Sin, which is the game he was the protagonist of. You will have until July 6, 2022, to pre-order these Nendoroids. They will both come out in November 2022 for Japan and January 2023 for North America.

The Persona 2: Innocent Sin Tatsuya Nendoroid will have two face plates: a standard one and a surprised one. He will also come with a sword, a microphone, a mic stand, and a lighter. It is a little difficult to see which lighter it is. However, as this is the version of Tatsuya from Innocent Sin, it is likely the lighter he received from Jun. The Tatsuya Nendoroid will cost 6100 JPY, or $55.99.

The Persona 2: Eternal Punishment Maya Nendoroid will lend herself to slightly more variations in poses. Unlike Tatsuya, she will have three expressions: a standard one, a surprised one, and a winking one. She will come with her two pink handguns and interviewing equipment, which consists of a microphone and a bag. She will also come with a guardrail that has a butterfly on it, which you can set next to her. The Maya Nendoroid will cost 6200 JPY, or $56.99.

Megalovania Dance Dance Revolution

"Megalovania," one of the more well-known tracks from Undertale, is now available in Dance Dance Revolution A3. Those with access to the arcade machine will be able to give this song a spin. Konami shared information through the official Dance Dance Revolution A3 website, announcing the inclusion of "Megalovania" in the game. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

Throughout the course of its lifespan, Konami has updated the tracklist for Dance Dance Revolution A3 several times. In April 2022, it updated the tracklist to include popular songs from Touhou Project titles. However, Dance Dance Revolution A3 is only available in arcades. This means users will need to go to a physical machine in order to play these songs.

In 2019, Konami announced plans to bring Dance Dance Revolution and Beatmania to mobile devices. This included plans for the releases, such as being able to project the game from your mobile device to a monitor or TV. However, a project known as Dance Dance Revolution Ultimate, which would see the popular dance title appear on mobile devices, has had little to no updates concerning a potential release. Konami has not made any additional announcements about potentially bringing the series to mobile devices or if it has any intentions of releasing a new title outside of arcades.

Dance Dance Revolution A3 is available on arcade machines.

Pokemon Home Arceus BDSP

The latest Pokemon Home update has added support for Legends: ArceusBrilliant Diamond, and Shining Pearl. The 2.0.0 update, available now, will allow users to deposit and withdraw Pokemon between these three new games. Furthermore, the update will also add the Pokedex from each compatible Pokemon game. Users who link any of the above three games and deposit a Pokemon can also receive special gift Pokemon for each game they link.

Pokemon Home is an app that allows players to move their Pokemon from one game to another. This means that if a player originally caught a Pokemon in Sword or Shield, they can use Pokemon Home to move that Pokemon to their save files in other games. Some games, like Pokemon GOLet's Go, Eevee!, and Let's Go, Pikachu!, will only allow the user to move the Pokemon once, after which it cannot be moved back.

https://twitter.com/NintendoAmerica/status/1527098493420064768?s=20&t=hyzmBe7ndm7QdY88WHgEKA

The Pokemon Company detailed the contents of the update in a post released last week. While the update will allow players to transfer Pokemon freely from the three games, there are a few caveats. One, due to the fact that Pokemon Legends: Arceus is set in the distant past, any Pokemon caught and transferred from BDSPSword, or Shield will come in Strange Balls. Similarly, Pokemon caught in Legends: Arceus and transferred to the above games will also appear in Strange Balls.

The special gift Pokemon will vary depending on the linked game. Linking Legends: Arceus, for example, will gift users with a Rowlet, Cyndaquil, and Oshawott with maximum effort levels. BDSP, on the other hand, will net users a Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup with Hidden Abilities. Both will be available as mystery gifts in the mobile device version of Pokemon Home.

Pokemon Home is available on Nintendo Switch and iOS and Android devices. Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond, and Pokemon Shining Pearl are available on Nintendo Switch.

V Rising Developer Offline PlayThough the V Rising Steam page mentions you can play the game offline, the reality is quite different. In its current Early Access form, the game doesn't have offline play enabled. Introverted vampires and solo fans alike are unable to build the gloomy castles of their dreams without fear from player harassment. However, that is set to change. Developer Stunlock Studios put out a message recently, saying offline play will come "as soon as possible." It may even be this week. The message was broadcast via the game's Discord channel. Stunlock writes, via PC Gamer: "We've prioritized making [offline play] available as soon as possible."   "For those of you who can't play now because of this due to inconsistent internet connections or something along those lines, we apologize for the inconvenience this will cause," the developer continued. "It's our estimation that offline play should be available some time in the...

Warzone 2 leak points of interest from Modern Warfare 2Since Call of Duty: Warzone 2 was confirmed to be in development, we have not heard any more official news. Thanks to leaks, fans are learning more about what we could possibly expect in the next installment of the game. The latest leak details potential Modern Warfare 2 maps that could be points of interest in Warzone 2. Reputable leaker and industry insider Tom Henderson claims that some Modern Warfare 2 maps will feature in Warzone 2. Reportedly, some fan-favorites from the franchise will make a return in multiplayer and in Warzone 2, where they are thought to be points of interest on the new map.   Transforming Modern Warfare 2 maps to a battle royale experience According to Henderson, the classic map Highrise is situated at the top right of the map under a point of interest called Modern City. Also, this area may have a lot of skyscrapers and tall buildings to explore. Towards the bottom right of the map is supposedly an airport, which is where the Terminal map is claimed to ...

Gerda A Flame In Winter Preview 1I feel like it hasn't been all that long since I played a dialogue-heavy game that primarily focused on World War II. I feel that way because I recently reviewed Syberia: The World Before. Gerda: A Flame in Winter isn't all that similar, though, based on what I experienced in the preview. The game is coming out later this year on September 1, and I got to spend a couple of hours with its story. I walked away extremely impressed and very much wanting to play more. Gerda impresses with strong dialogue and plethora of seemingly meaningful choices. Gerda: A Flame in Winter sees you playing as the titular character. She's half Danish and half German, and lives in an occupied Danish town in 1945. Gerda's husband has been working with the resistance to dismantle the local German war machine, but he gets caught. You spend the game trying to walk a tightrope with Danes and Germans on either side. How you go about things is up to you. There's very little voice ...

Multiversus Reveal Trailer Batman Arya hands-on preview pc gameplayIt's a funny thing (though not totally unexpected) that the platform fighter is slowly becoming a genre for media corporations to bring their most famed creations together. Super Smash Bros. kicked it off with Nintendo, further extending the image of Super Mario Bros., Pokémon, The Legend of Zelda, etc. But later, Nickelodeon All-Stars brought the fight to SpongeBob SquarePants and his cartoon friends. Warner Bros. is cashing in on this corporate platform fighter craze with MultiVersus, giving us some WB characters to fight with. Bugs Bunny, Tom and Jerry, Steven Universe, and even Superman are coming together for one big bout. But can it differentiate itself from other games in the growing genre? Well, actually, it distinguishes itself quite well. I was given the chance to preview the world of MultiVersus in a special Closed Alpha. And hey, I'll be honest, it was pretty fun! MultiVersus will be fully free to play at launch. It's going the Pokémon Unite route, wi...

Dolmen Review PcLet me preface this Dolmen review by saying how much I love Souls-like games. They have an air of mystery, all the while presenting opportunities to tackle insurmountable challenges. More often than not, you'd roam around interconnected levels in search of a new discovery. You'd come up with builds, both broken and silly, as you feel the pulse-pounding intensity of combat. Sadly, Dolmen, which is set to release tomorrow, falters in almost every respect. And it might just be one of the most disappointing games I've played this year.   From the get-go Dolmen takes place on a planet called Revlon Prime. No, the colonists here aren't looking for hair products. Rather, they're in search of strange crystals known as "Dolmen" that can act as a bridge between alternate realities. As Revlon Prime is slowly overrun by alien creatures and malevolent entities, it's up to you to ascertain what happened. That's the gist of Dolmen's plo...
