Saber Interactive has done a great job of bringing simulation games to a wider audience with its Runner series. From 2017's Mudrunner through to Snowrunner and Expeditions: A Mudrunner Game, the studio has worked hard to refine its take on realistic vehicle off-roading and transportation, with each follow-up providing a markedly improved experience from its predecessor. The most compelling version of its formula arrived last month in the form of Roadcraft, which marries the attention to detail of other Saber sims with satisfying construction objectives. It appears to be a hit, too, with the parent company of publisher Focus Entertainment calling the game one of its "most successful launches" to date.

Sony is finally removing its Steam region locks for several Playstation PC ports. These restrictions on dozens of countries and territories proved seriously controversial when they were applied to Helldivers 2 after it launched last year, and they affected several other PC ports for the likes of The Last of Us Part 2 and God of War Ragnarok. But now, those region restrictions are quietly disappearing from Steam, perhaps as a consequence of Stellar Blade's recent success on the platform.

Hello Kitty Island Adventure Paper Parade Pride Event Starts

In 2024, Sanrio and Starblink started a Paper Parade event in Hello Kitty Island Adventure right about when Pride Month began, and now the 2025 installment kicked off on June 13, 2025. It will run until July 3, 2025, and we'll see both new and returning items to mark the occasion.

As is common for these types of seasonal events in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, you need to head to the Seaside Resort. There will be quests there to kick off Paper Parade. Everything happens in the hub area where all of the shops appear. The idea is to get Paper Crafts from characters for a Paper Parade Float. All of the items appear with a rainbow pattern, and there will also be papercraft kinds of furniture.

Here's the trailer for this year's Hello Kitty Island Adventure event happening during Pride month. Some of the items we're seeing did show up in the past, such as some of the clothing and items like Parade Wings, decorative arches, and paper boxes. There are also a number of new items, like a bed, dresser, mirror, chair, and new clothing items.

The last event marked the return of Under the Sea in May 2025.

Hello Kitty Island Adventure is available for the Switch, PC, and iOS devices via Apple Arcade, and the Paper Parade event is live during Pride month until July 3, 2025.

boy scouts pokemon japan

The Boy Scouts in Japan announced the organization will start a Pokemon Trainer Program, and the official site for it is now open. Children will complete missions that aim to improve skills like teamwork, observation, and first aid, with each activity having a Pokemon theming to them.

A few of the ways in which the Pokemon Trainer Program will work already came up. Examples of activities include looking for Tinkatuff's hammer, climbing a hill to rescue a stranded Pokemon, and scavenging for edible nuts or berries to feed a hungry Morpeko. These are all important skills for children to learn if they're ever stranded or encounter someone who needs help while they're outside.

As a note, though the Boy Scouts are organizing this program, the gender of the child does not matter. Girls can also participate if they want. This program is for children who are around ten years old. However, the accepted age may differ depending on which prefecture you sign up in. The starting date, as well as how many applicants the program will accept, differs between prefectures as well.

Details for specific prefectures are available on the official website for the Boy Scouts Pokemon Trainer program. The newest entry in the Pokemon game franchise will be Pokemon Legends: Z-A, which will come out on October 16, 2025 for the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.

NIKKE Red Hood Nendoroid Appears Ahead of Other Figures

Good Smile Company opened pre-orders for the Goddess of Victory: NIKKE Nendoroid a day after it confirmed future figures in the line will be Scarlet: Black Shadow and Soda. Red Hood will show up in Japan in December 2025, followed by a US release in Q2 2026. She'll cost ¥7,900/$56.99. There are no release windows for Scarlet: Black Shadow and Soda yet.

Red Hood is a notable and influential heroine in NIKKE, so much so that there's even a Rapi alt inspired by her. She comes with three face plates. She's smiling in one, is blushing with an even wider smile in another, and is shouting in the third. She comes with her Wolfsbane sniper rifle, as well as some effect parts to make it look like she's using it. She also has a cassette she can hold.

Here's a closer look at that Nendoroid.

As for the two new designs, those came up during the Nendoroid FUNS June 2025 showcase. Since Scarlet: Black Shadow and Soda are still early in development, only concept art for both NIKKE characters appeared. These were in the Nendoroid style though, so we do have some idea of how they will look.

Here's that teaser image Good Smile Company shared with us:

The Goddess of Victory: NIKKE Red Hood Nendoroid will debut in December 2025 in Japan and worldwide in Q2 2026, and pre-orders for the figure end on July 30, 2025. The Scarlet: Black Shadow and Soda ones are in development. NIKKE is available on the PC and mobile devices.

Stellar Blade Eve

In a development that will surprise basically no one, Stellar Blade's arrival on Steam two days ago has created an influx of mods for the title on PC, and a lot of them are just straight up porn.

The game's page on Nexus Mods boasts 238 results at the time of this article, and most of the first two pages are nudity mods, including the most-downloaded one that switches up the appearance of the main character, "Eve with No clothes on (Original Proportions)." Because of course.

Eve Stellar Blade on one knee
Image via Shift Up

A good amount of the mods seem to replace the main menu screen with all sorts of looping videos of Eve in X-rated fashion, while others give her interesting or cute outfits, and there's even one that makes her pregnant. Yeah.

Judging by the Overwhelmingly Positive Steam reviews (of which there are over 13,000 total), whether gamers are playing the title or simply watching the main character Eve walk slowly around the pretty environments, they are having a blast with the former PS5-exclusive action game where the heroine hacks and slashes her way across the storyline, battling monsters and epic boss battles in a skin-tight body suit.

"Plot?" said one review. "I only saw hips swinging and melons jiggling. 10/10, would simp again!" This is a common thread in the reviews I've browsed, but a lot are also praising it for being a solid PC port with good performance, too.

By all accounts, Stellar Blade is a really solid action game, regardless of how the "gooner" attention seems to overshadow it. It has an 81 critic rating and 9.2 user score on Metacritic, and so not everyone can only talk about the main character's attire (or lack thereof) when praising it.

"The game is high-quality hack and slash representative with a well written story and interesting characters," one Steam reviewer said. "Another undisputed plus is that the game runs smooth. I also would like to highlight the beautiful animations. Despite all the fan service in the game, Stellar Blade would be just as good even without it."

That's good to know! I bought Stellar Blade on PS5 last year at launch and haven't gotten around to playing it yet, but perhaps I will soon. But for my PC brothers enjoying the new launch on Steam, please make sure to wash your hands before returning back to the game.

Dune Awakening characters fighting

While many Survivalcraft and MMO games have come before it, Dune: Awakening is a remarkable example of an experience that builds off preexisting ideas and transforms them into its own identity.

Dune: Awakening takes place in the world of Arrakis, a harsh desert planet inhabited by scavengers, scrap resources, and perilous sandworms. You, on the other hand, are a foreign prisoner sent to Arrakis to learn more about the Fremen's disappearances. All the while, you're forced to survive on this planet by gathering resources, avoiding its various dangers, and either working alongside or fighting other players.

Dune Awakening introduction cutscene
Screenshot by Destructoid

Even beyond gaming, it takes an established story, Dune, and builds off it using modern game mechanics and beautiful visuals while still maintaining its core idea. Whether you develop a civilization with numerous other players or go on a solo adventure and fend for yourself is entirely up to you, giving you a few different paths that will affect your experience.

I've been a fan of MMOs and survival games for most of my life. I started with Runescape in early 2006, with Dune: Awakening being the latest entry in my ever-growing library. I was mostly a solo player, making my playthrough more challenging yet exhilarating as I worked extra hard to gather all the resources I needed to stay alive, let alone progress. If you want an MMO with gradual progression and a noticeable lack of hand-holding aside from initial tutorial pop-ups, Dune: Awakening will be right up your alley from the start.

At its core, Dune: Awakening is all about survival. While there are questlines that dive more into Arrakis' environment and the circumstances of the Fremen's disappearance, survival is your top priority until you get your bearings and establish yourself enough to safely explore without stressing about water and shelter. Once you're there, you can get to the fun part: the danger.

Everything about Arrakis is dangerous. It's a desert, so you need to constantly think about having enough water on hand to stay alive and finding shade to avoid burning to a crisp. Along the way, you may accidentally stumble upon a scavenger's base of operations and have to fight or run away from them. Even if you survive that, there's the chance of a sandworm finding you and gobbling you up or a sandstorm killing off your character, making you lose everything on hand. It's unforgiving and cruel, which is exactly what makes Dune: Awakening so captivating.

Dune Awakening cave cutscene
Screenshot by Destructoid

Where there's fun, though, there are some downsides. Dune: Awakening heavily relies on gunplay when fighting enemies, with melee being a somewhat viable, albeit noticeably weaker option. NPCs also aren't particularly difficult to battle, making them more of a mindless obstacle like in most MMOs. Even the sandworms pose little threat, as you can easily avoid them unless you go out of your way to draw their attention.

Dune: Awakening encapsulates everything I want from a survival MMO game. There's an interesting storyline, a beautiful world worth exploring, and some grindy aspects to keep me playing for as long as I want. If I'm only limited to an hour, I can quickly gather some resources and progress through a couple of quests before leaving. If I'm available all night, I can get a few friends to tag along to build a massive base in the middle of the desert and laugh when one of them gets eaten by a sandworm. It has some room for improvement with its combat, but with some polish, it can easily stand among the greats within both survival and MMO gaming genres.

Promo image for FIFA Rivals where the ball is on fire

Cash is the most common currency in FIFA Rivals, yet it's also the most precious and will be extremely important in winning matches.

Cash is the bright, green-colored item on the top of your screen if you're just a beginner. The currency is obtainable via different methods inside the game, ranging from winning games to dabbing into microtransactions. However, none of us is sitting on a pile of money, so let's look at how to earn Cash most effectively without thinning your bank balance.

All methods of earning Cash in FIFA Rivals

As I said, there are various methods of earning Cash. I haven't included microtransactions because they're not sustainable.

  • From the balls that you win and open. Balls that require a longer time to open will reward you with more Cash.
  • By leveling up.
  • Season Pass
  • Seasonal Shop
  • Seasonal Quests

Out of all these methods, opening balls is the most sustainable way to get Cash. The remaining stuff is available throughout a full season, but you'll max out after a certain point. In the case of balls you earn as rewards, there are no limits.

Now that we have understood how to get Cash in FIFA Rivals, let's look at how you can maximize your income.

Best ways to get more Cash in FIFA Rivals

An image of Golden Ball potential rewards in FIFA Rivals
Screenshot by Destructoid

Here are some easy tips, especially if you're a beginner (meaning you have not played Season 0 or the beta).

  • Win matches: This is pretty obvious, but winning is key to your progress. The more games you win, the more balls you get to open. This will increase your Cash reserve and Diamonds and help you get more player cards.
  • Use balls that offer perks: Don't use the default football if there's another option. Items like the Vanta Pro (available on the Premium Season 0 Pass) allow you to reduce the cooldown of opening a new ball every five minutes when you win. If you're going through a long session and getting plenty of wins, you'll be able to get more rewards simultaneously.
  • Use the ads: No, ads don't reward you with Cash, but they help you get extra contracts. If your players don't have contracts, you won't be able to use them in a match. Contract renewals cost Cash; if you use ads, you'll save a lot of your resources.
  • Don't use higher rarities too much: It might look very attractive to stuff as many Epic and Rare players in your squad. Don't sleep on the common cards. Not only are they easier to upgrade, but they're also cheaper to use when they're out of contract. You also don't need to use the higher-rated Epic and Legendary items in the lower divisions.
  • Max out the seasonal events: You'll come across at least one seasonal event, if not more. We had one in Season 0, and Season 1 also has one live. There are plenty of rewards to unlock, including Cash. The more Season Points you earn, the more Cash you can unlock.
  • Use your Season Points judiciously: Once you have unlocked an Epic item from the Season Shop, use the remaining points as much as possible on Cash. I advise you to spend as many Season Points as possible on Cash because you don't need to field 11 Epic players at this game stage.

If you follow these instructions, you shouldn't have any problem with Cash. It will be interesting to find out if Mythical improves the rate of earning the currency in the game.

Kratos and Atreus in God Of War

Even though Sony has been ramping up the PC ports of many of its first-party games, so-called "tentpole" titles won't be rushed to the platform, Sony has announced. Following a "deliberate" and "measured" strategy, Sony wishes to protect its most important games, which it considers "showcases" of the PS5's power.

As per GameSpot, PlayStation Studios chief executive Hermen Hulst recently spoke in a business meeting, providing comments regarding the future of PlayStation's exclusives and their potential PC ports.

He noted how PlayStation's "value" must be protected, and that means keeping some games exclusive to the platform, especially those games the company considers to be among its selection of "tentpole" titles that act as "showcases" of PS5's hardware capabilities.

A character shooting at an adversarial robot ship as it explodes on an alien planet in Helldivers 2.

"It's important to realize that we're really thoughtful about bringing our franchises off console to reach new audiences and that we're taking a very measured, very deliberate approach in doing that," Hulst said, adding that extra mind is paid to the tentpole games mentioned above that are "such a point of differentiation" for PlayStation.

A key phrase he used during the talk implies that certain games might never see the light of other platforms as they may be considered too crucial to PlayStation's exclusive ecosystem. Hulst said that the company carefully considers "if and how" they port games, highlighting that decisions can be made to outright reject porting a title that is deemed a big platform-seller.

Games like Ghost of Tsushima, God of War, and others might fall under this "singleplayer tentpole" categorization, and it's clear Sony took their sweet time deciding if and when they are to be ported. Both Ghost and the first GoW game took four years to make the journey, whereas the likes of Demon's Souls and Bloodborne are nowhere in sight.

This latter is also one of the most demanded ports in the history of Sony exclusives, with players anticipating each State of Play and similar Sony-related event, praying that the company will finally deliver and move the classic FromSoftware game to Gaben's splendid realm.

This is in stark contrast to Microsoft's line of thinking, which has recently started emphasizing multi-platform availability, to the point that the company is bringing its biggest flagship franchises over to Sony's consoles.

Hopefully, something changes in Sony's line of thinking that'll start getting us more and more first-party games on multiple platforms.

Whether or not Microsoft's massive experiment pays off might influence Sony's decisions, so fingers crossed it turns out to be a bountiful venture, as the opposite could spell the end of universal multiplatform dreams.

The post Sony doubles-down on "deliberate" approach to porting flagship titles to PC, and it's very disappointing appeared first on Destructoid.

The promo image for the Shapeshifters promo in EA FC 25

The Shapeshifters Crafting Upgrade Objective is live in EA FC 25, and it's your best shot at getting some amazing rewards free of cost.

The rewards guarantee stacked packs that guarantee walkouts on every pull, increasing your chances of getting a promo item. Moreover, the SBC required to complete the objective can be easily finished, and the fodder can be generated on its own. This guide will provide all the necessary details to help you complete the objective without spending a single Ultimate Team coin.

All Shapeshifters Crafting Upgrade Objective rewards in EA FC 25

Let's first take a look at all the rewards. The rewards are evenly distributed across separate milestones. Whenever you hit a particular milestone, the applicable reward will be unlocked. There's one simple and single task in EA FC 25: complete the Shapeshifters Crafting Upgrade SBC.

  • Complete 1: 83+ x5 Rare Gold Players Pack
  • Complete 5: 85+ x4 Rare Gold Players Pack
  • Complete 10: 84+ x4 Rare Gold Players Pack
  • Complete 20: 85+ x4 Rare Gold Players Pack
  • Complete 30: 86+ x3 Rare Gold Players Pack
  • Complete 50: 85+ x10 Rare Gold Players Pack
  • Complete 75: 86+ x2 Rare Gold Players Pack
  • Complete 100: 86+ x7 Rare Gold Players Pack

Completing the full set will finish the objective and unlock an 86+ x10 Rare Gold Players Pack.

How to complete the Shapeshifters Crafting Upgrade SBC in EA FC 25

The SBC has only one task, and here are the requirements.

  • Min. 2 Players: Rare
  • Exactly Gold Players
  • Number of players: 9

If you don't want to spend any coins, you'll have to wait a few days to complete the SBC 100 times. However, there's an easy way, and I have mentioned the steps.

  • Complete the Daily Bronze Upgrade and the Daily Silver Upgrade. You'll lose 6 Silvers and 6 Bronzes but return 72 of each type. You'll have a surplus of 66 Bronzes and 66 Silvers.
  • You can also complete the Super Daily Silver Upgrade, increasing your club's total number of Silvers.
  • We will next target the Daily Gold Upgrade. The Daily Gold Upgrade can be done 13 times daily, requiring 65 Silvers and 65 Bronzes. You should get the required cards daily if you complete the first step.
  • The 13 Gold Upgrades will land you 130 Gold Common players and 13 Gold Rare Players. Their overall ratings don't matter in this case.
  • Each Shapeshifters Crafting Upgrade SBC requires 9 Gold cards. Two of those nine cards must be at least Rare, and the rest can be Common.

You can complete the Shapeshifters Crafting Upgrade SBC approximately 14 times daily. You'll need to dish out 14 extra Rare Gold cards from your inventory, but they're very easy to acquire. At this rate, it will take you eight days to complete all the objective tasks, which are available for the next four weeks.

The end of the week comes up again, and, as always, there's no better time to give your favorite games a spin. It might also be some entirely new experience, fresh out of the oven, and there's surely no lack of those at the moment.

The Steam Next Fest is still active, with demos of countless indie games ripe for the taking for the low, low cost of nothing at all. From challenging roguelikes to innovative and grueling horrors, there's a little bit of everyone there. Big patches and updates for established titles have come out recently as well, so there's certainly no lack of gaming options this weekend.

Thunder and lightning and blood strike a vicious battleground in Hell Clock.
I've been obsessing over Hell Clock for days now, making use of the limited demo as much as I can. Image via Rogue Snail

As for myself, I'm finally back at home and able to use my beloved main rig to fire up some new games that my bricked laptop couldn't handle. Thus, it's probably gonna be a couple of days of Elden Ring: Nightrein with the lads and just one turn of Total War: Warhammer 3.

Making use of the active Steam Next Fest, I'll also hop onto some indie demos, both singleplayer and co-op, such as Hunters Inc. and Hell Clock, as I've been having that itch for a proper roguelike/looter-shooter experience for a while now, which these two gems perfectly scratched. Dota 2 is on the table as well, but I may put it off for this weekend so I can catch up on proper, non-rage-inducing games.

I might also fire up and continue my campaign of The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind to bask in the glory of classic RPGs from a time when Bethesda still had competent people on board and Todd Howard was a proper designer and innovator, and not a regurgitator of past work.

But enough about me. What about youDestructoid? What gaming experiences, old and new, are you going to tap into this weekend?

In a crowded field full of online survival sims, Dune: Awakening is kicking up storm. The adaptation of Frank Herbert's sci-fi novels lets players build bases, rid sand worms, and smash Ornithopters into one another. That last part has become a problem, and the developers are already looking into a fix.

Is Dune Awakening down? While we still love single-player games, but there's also something to be said for the chaotic joy to be had in multiplayer experiences - especially massively multiplayer ones.

One of the few downsides that comes with playing with friends and strangers around the world is the instability of online servers. As a survival MMO, Dune Awakening could be victim to severe server downtime, so if you're struggling to get into Arrakis, that could be why. Here, we've got the latest on maintenance in the crafting game, and the current Dune Awakening server status.

I understand the appeal of Escape From Tarkov, Arma, Gray Zone Warfare, and all the other hyper-punishing, realistic FPS games out there, but I also find them strangely unconvincing. When the pattern of gameplay is spawn, die, spawn, die, spawn, die, it feels less like I'm in the middle of a real, all-out battle, and more like I'm just playing a videogame. Nevertheless, I like the steep difficulty and the pretense of realism - loud guns, bullet physics, and a grounded, boots-and-mud aesthetic. Originally announced back in 2019, '83 looks like the ideal midpoint between accessible online shooter and stone-cold milsim. Created by former developers from the Rising Storm and Red Orchestra series, after years in the wilderness, it's now in full development swing thanks to a new publishing deal.

It looks as though we haven't yet seen the limits of the latest Intel Battlemage architecture, as more and more leaks are pointing to the launch of a new Intel GPU that's even faster than the Arc B580. Hints about the new GPU, which is rumored to be called the Intel Arc B770, have started appearing in a couple of places over the last few weeks, leading to speculation that its launch is coming in 2025.

If the rumors are true, it's hoped this new Intel GPU could pick up from where the Intel Arc A770 left off, as while that GPU suffered from a bunch of compatibility issues when it launched, it was also surprisingly powerful in our game benchmarks. If Intel does indeed have a faster graphics card in the wings, and it can get the price right, it's likely it could take on the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti, and perhaps even the RTX 5070 if it can have as much memory as its predecessor.

What is the best webcam? Whether you're regularly streaming or mostly need a webcam for dialing into work calls, a good webcam is now an essential PC upgrade for most PC gamers. A dedicated webcam can also give you a huge boost in image quality compared to the built-in offerings found on your laptop.

Our current best overall pick is the Logitech C920 as it offers a reliable combination of decent 1080p image quality and solid sound quality, all for a reasonable price. For 4K image quality, the Elgato Facecam Pro is the way to go while the OBSBOT Tiny 2 is great for presentations thanks to its ability to move the camera to follow you. Resident Evil 9, formally titled Requiem, is on the way. There's a remake of the original Silent Hill coming, and Alien Isolation 2 is officially in development. All things considered, when it comes to long-running or well-loved horror game series, the future looks bright - or rather, choked in shadow, dripping with blood, and deliciously ominous. But The Callisto Protocol, Striking Distance's spiritual Dead Space successor from 2022, deserves another chance. I'm not going to tell you it's one of gaming's great, unappreciated gems. I won't lie that the middle section in particular struggles with repetition and limp scares, and that there are some clumsy combat moments. The Callisto Protocol, however, is much better than its reputation implies, and definitely worth playing now that it's cheaper than ever.

AMD has just quietly launched a new budget gaming CPU with 3D V-cache, and you won't need a brand new Socket AM5 motherboard to run it either. The new AMD Ryzen 5 5500X3D has six cores and is based on the aging Zen 3 architecture, with lower clock speeds than the 5600X3D, but that huge extra helping of cache is still likely to make it a decent gaming chip. Is there a catch? Why, of course there is.

As we found in our AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D review, that massive 64MB slice of cache can have a significant impact on gaming performance, making this eight-core chip the best gaming CPU you can buy right now, and this new AMD CPU could end up being a great budget upgrade option for owners of older Socket AM4 systems. In fact, even if your motherboard is a first-gen Ryzen model from 2017, there's still a good chance you'll be able to update the BIOS and install this new CPU.

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5050 leaks are now coming in thick and fast, with the latest one appearing to confirm the speed of the VRAM used by the new gaming GPU. Bear in mind that Nvidia hasn't even officially announced the existence of the RTX 5050, let alone any specs details, so this is all still in rumor territory right now. However, it looks as though the RTX 5050 is going to have exactly the same memory setup as AMD's recent GPUs.

As we found in our AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT review, you can still make a decent GPU by opting for GDDR6 VRAM rather than the latest super-fast GDDR7 memory, enabling AMD to cut costs and make the best graphics card in its league. Indeed, the 16GB 9060 XT has twice as much VRAM as the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060, making it a much better card, even if the memory is slower, and it looks as though Nvidia plans to reduce the cost of the GeForce RTX 5050 by using the same type of memory.

PlayStation's bigwigs are content to stick with their current approach to multiplatform releases for now, making it unlikely we're going to see a sudden switch to day-and-date PC ports of Sony's big single-player games anytime soon.

SlayPtation have been bringing their studios' multiplayer and live-service games to PC at release for a while now, it making sense with the likes of Helldivers 2 and, er, Concord, to try and ensure the maximum potential player base possible right out of the gate. On the other hand, for single player stuff like God of War Ragnarok and Ghost of Tsushima they've been content to wait a year to bring over to the other video game boxes.

My personal pick of this week's Steam Next Fest demos is Jump Ship, which you might already know as that co-operative, 'Left 4 Dead meets FTL meets Sea of Thieves' space crew shooter previously known as Hyperspace. Godspeed, Captain Farts.

All our previous looks at Jump Ship, including Edwin's GDC 2024 preview, have seen it in varying states of unreadiness, with more missing parts than the game's own spaceship after one of its many 1 vs. Loads dogfights. This public demo, however, looks and feels fairly polished, allowing it to serve as a rather moreish showcase of its mission loops. Which, at least for me and a couple of crewmates, seem to involve a lot of swishing around on grappling hooks while our vessel melts from within.

Fresh from revealing that they're remaking the first Silent Hill, the Polish team have released a new trailer for Cronos that shows off more of its bubble-suited third-person gunnery.

In particular, it spotlights the Merge mechanic, whereby guttural tendril beasts known as Orphans devour the corpses of their brethren to enhance their abilities. It's implied that they can do this more than once, so be sure to clean up after yourself. As in so many other walks of life, punctual incineration may be the cure.

There aren't many games lately which have compelled me to do a tweet, or skeet, or whatever you prefer to call ejaculating one's thoughts out onto the socials. The Trolley Solution's Steam Next Fest demo not only did that, it convinced me to post a tweet I didn't even write.

It's a game from indie dev byDanDans that starts off as a series of moral quandaries, each inspired by philosopher Philippa Foot's famous and now also thoroughly memed-to-death Trolley Problem. That being a thought experiment which forces you examine the ethics of either letting nature take its course to deliver one outcome that could cause harm to others, or actively intervening to cause another that might do the same in a different fashion. I didn't go in expecting to become enraptured in what I can only describe as a tragic rail romance.

If you were busy with other hobbies such as arctic exploration or hardcore spelunking earlier this week, the GTA/Cyberpunky Mindseye suffered a pretty nightmarish debut. Next Aksys Otome Illusion of Itehari Debuts in September

Aksys took to social media to confirm the release date for its next otome game Illusion of Itehari, and the English localization of Utakata no Uchronia will debut on September 18, 2025. Both Amazon and the company are already taking pre-orders for the title. However, only Aksys is selling a $59.99 edition that includes the soundtrack.

We actually learned Aksys picked up Utakata no Uchronia almost exactly a year ago, as it ended up being one of the Switch otome games the company shared at Anime Expo 2024. Shortly after, it confirmed the English name would be Illusion of Itehari. This is another example of the company branching out with localizations, as this title is a Broccoli and TIS Creation one.

The game takes its name from the town in which its heroine lives. Itehari is a rich, lavish city in the sky. Hinagiku lived her whole life there. However, she always wanted to leave it and see the rest of the world, and she gets the chance to learn the truth about it and everythinga fter an encounter with a mysterious man named Yashiro. Naturally, he's one of five possible love interests for her.

The Amazon product page shared some additional screenshots of Hinagiku with characters like Yashiro, Awayuki, Tobari, Tsuyukusa, and Yori. Here's how those CGs look:

The last Aksys otome game to appear was 7'scarlet. That ended up being a Switch version of a title it previously worked on.

Illusion of Itehari is headed to the Nintendo Switch worldwide, and its release date is September 18, 2025.

See Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter Estelle and Joshua English Trailers

Nihon Falcom and GungHo released matching Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter trailers highlighting the English voice actors for stars Estelle and Joshua. Each video offers examples of cinematic scenes and notable lines, and there are a few times when we see each character attack. Both appeared after the Japanese YouTube account did the same.

First, here's the Estelle English Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter trailer. She's voiced by Stephanie Sheh. She's reprising her role from past games, and we most recently heard her play the character in Trails into Reverie. She appeared as Maria Robotnik in Sonic x Shadow Generations and Lacus Clyne in Gundam SEED Freedom recently too.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xH4nv6q1JtM

Here's the Japanese version of that video. Tomoyo Takayanagi is her voice actress in that language.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UeUmFVUauyM

Next, here's the Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter Joshua trailer highlighting Johnny Yong Bosch as his English voice actor. Like Sheh, he's reprising a role he's played since Trails of Cold Steel IV. Other recent parts he played include Ichigo Kurosaki in Bleach Rebirth of Souls and Vash in Trigun Stampede

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yGKtrHcYuHM

And here's the Japanese trailer highlighting Natsumi Fujiwara's performance as Joshua.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter will come to the Switch, PS5, and PC on September 19, 2025. Standard and collector's editions will be available. However, in the case of the Bracer Edition, the game will be shipped ahead of the bonus items, as those won't appear until sometime between November and December 2025.

Hololive Vtubers Fuwamoco Sing Nekopara After Song

Now that Nekopara After: La Vraie Famille, the latest entry in the Neko Works visual novel series about catgirls, is available via Sekai Project, Hololive Fuwamoco Vtubers Fuwawa and Mococo Abyssgard announced they sing the ending theme song. It's called "Side by Side," and it is both on streaming services and YouTube.

"Side by Side" is created by Aiobahn +81 and Kris Roche, as the Hololive Fuwamoco Vtubers only provided the vocals for the track. The music video also only showcases characters like Chocola and Vanilla, as Fuwawa and Mococo don't appear in it. However, the official cover for the song's single does show the two performers in the same maid outfits Chocola and Vanilla wear when working at Patisserie La Soleil.

Here's Fuwamoco performing the Nekopara After song "Side by Side" for its official music video.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rzCDwmSvzQ

While this song for the game was a surprise, we already knew what the opening theme would be for Nekopara After. Ceui performed the song "Contrail" for the visual novel.

It's been a pretty big day for Nekopara game news. We also learned more about Nekopara Sekai Connect. That's the mobile spin-off inspired by the series. Most importantly, we know it will debut in 2026. It's the replacement for Nekoparaiten.

Nekopara After: La Vraie Famille is available now on PCs, though it isn't on Steam just yet.

Atelier Resleriana Switch, PS5, and PC Game Release Date Set

Koei Tecmo and Gust confirmed we'll see Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist and the White Guardian this fall on the Switch, PS5, and PC, as it set a release date. The official site confirmed it will debut on September 26, 2025. Pre-orders are open, and there's a digital early purchase bonus for getting it by October 9, 2025. There are also two new trailers looking at the game.

Everyone in Hallfein disappeared, and nobody really knew what happened. However, Rias Eidreise and Slade Clauslyter are going to find out. The two grew up there and return at the same time once people are allowed to return to the area. Rias is the alchemist this time around, while Slade can use a Geist Core that lets them go to alternate dimensions to aid in their investigations.

Here's the trailer that highlights the Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist and the White Guardian story, shows off gameplay, and shared its release date for the Switch, PS5, and PC versions appearing worldwide.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m2Y87-C8Cms

There is also a version of this trailer in which Gust head and producer for this title Junzo Hosoi and development producer Yasunori Sakuda both offered commentary on what happens in it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iodw5B2QT0E

As for the early purchase bonus, it gives us two costumes and a pack of items. These are basically active looks for exercising for the two leads. Slade can wear Fresh Trainer and Rias can wear Passion Runner. The Adventuring Charm Set in the bundle gives us a Training Charm that boosts XP earn and a Victor's Charm that boosts SP we get.

Here's how the costumes look:

As a reminder, this game did have ties to Atelier Resleriana: Forgotten Alchemy and the Polar Night Liberator. That appeared on PCs and mobile devices. However, it is no longer available, as Koei Tecmo shut the global version down back in March 2025.

The Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist and the White Guardian will appear on the Switch, PS5, and PC worldwide and on the PS4 in Japan, and the release date is September 26, 2025.

Nekopara Sekai Connect releasing worldwide for mobile and PC in 2026

Good Smile Company has shared details about Nekopara Sekai Connect. The company will release the new game worldwide for PC and mobile devices in 2026.

The Japanese official website and the repurposed English social media account confirm that this title is replacing Yostar's Nekoparaiten. Yostar will still help promote this new game, but Good Smile Company and Neko Works will be the ones taking primary production roles.

The story of Nekopara Sekai Connect will focus on the global catgirl popularity contest festival. Recurring series characters from Patisserie La Soleil, such as Chocola and Vanilla, will still appear here. However, the game will also feature more characters from various catgirl academies around the world.

Good Smile Company revealed the catgirls affiliated with each academy:

  • Sakuragaoka Catgirl Academy (Japan-themed): Mikan, Yuzuha, and Sakura
  • Jinhua Felidae Institute (Asia-themed): Lamut, Mamelo, and Fengli
  • Gertrude Catgirl Institute (Europe-themed): Cannelé, Sorbet, and Sablé
  • Great Catgirl Institute of Bastet (Africa-themed): Ackee, Palmyra, and Akhduth
  • Nekos Youth Academy (North America-themed): Lycorice, Donut, and Muffin

The company also published an official trailer for Nekopara Sekai Connect on its Japanese YouTube channel. It features the theme song "Cute Domination," which is sung by Shigure's voice actress, M-A-O.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2BDnTccfS9s

In addition, the company slipped in another announcement to remake the existing Nekopara visual novels as Nekopara Love Project for iOS and Android mobile devices. All six titles from Vol.0 to Extra will gradually release from Summer 2025 with an all-new voice cast.

Good Smile Company and Neko Works will publish Nekopara Sekai Connect worldwide in Japanese, English, and Simplified Chinese for iOS, Android, and PC via Steam in Spring 2026. The game will also have a dedicated booth at Anime Expo in Los Angeles on July 3-6, 2025, and Comic Market 106 in Tokyo on August 16-17, 2025.

Review: Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster Is a Joy to Play Again Switch 2

The original Bravely Default and Bravely Second left me awestruck. The gameplay called to mind Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light and more classic entries in that series, and the story's direction grabbed hold of me in a way that nearly felt unhealthy. I spent hours getting every job, exploring every sidequest, and building up my characters as stayed until the very end. 11 years later, even though I did all this before, Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster triggered the same response on the Switch 2,  and this Square Enix game remains a fantastic JRPG.

Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster begins with Agnes Oblige calling out for help, asking for warriors of light for salvation as the world crumbles around her and she falls into the cracks. Across the world, we see shepherd Tiz Arrior tending his flock with his little brother Til when the Great Chasm swallows up their village of Norende, leaving him the only survivor. When he returns to the ruins, he finds the Wind Vestal Agnes and the Cryst-fairy Airy who are on a journey to awaken the four crystals of the world to save it. The two end up joined by an amnesiac named Ringabel, who holds a book called D's Journal that sometimes seems to predict the future, and the Eternian defector Edea Lee who is disgusted by the behavior of the Sky Knights.

I'm not going to say anything more about the story. I don't want to spoil anything. But it is great, the characters are fantastic, and it holds up over 10 years later.

Like Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light, Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster is a turn-based JRPG with a job system. As you defeat Asterisk holder bosses, you gain new roles for members of your party to undertake. You can then, in turn, combine them by equipping a second command category and an ability that offers some sort of extra feature of buff or bonus. For example, you can make someone a Black Mage who also has the White Magic class of spells and equipped the Angelic Ward ability that might halve damage or a Ninja with Thief command and Raid ability that could increase everyone's BP when a battle starts.

Speaking of BP, that's the element that sets Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster apart as a JRPG. You can either stock up on action points (Default), making a character defend against attacks in the process, or act up to four times in a single turn (Brave) by forgoing attacking the next three turns after that. Think of it as being both a strategic and quality of life gameplay element. In more standard encounters, you could direct all four characters to each use Brave four times in a row to attack (or create an "Auto" preset with that) to quickly grind for levels and job points to level up roles to get access to more abilities. That lets you wipe everything out in one turn. In the case of a boss fight or more difficult challenge, you could use Default to defend and stockpile turns or prepare for guards to drop, then respond with multiple attacks at once. You can gain greater control of a battle's pace. I personally like to have one of my physical attackers (Edea or Tiz) Brave all at once, then have Agnes and Ringabel perform more nuanced attacks responding to situations ASAP.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s8kBXtwzCp0

As in Final Fantasy or other Square Enix JRPG games, the adventure in Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster sends us around the world. There is the main campaign, as well as sidequest stories to follow. For the sake of clarity, Airy appears in the in-game menu to offer suggestions. There are party talk moments when the four discuss what's going on or offer insight into the world. Campaign quest objectives are highlighted with orange markers, while sidequests use blue ones. The UI, redone for this release, is easy to parse. Not to mention the towns we visit are even more stunning in this version, thanks to enhanced textures that make the pop-up, fairytale designs really, well, pop. In general, every main character, major opponent, and enemy looks wonderful in HD with the updated models and textures. The opening movie and new voice acting is also wonderful and adds to the experience.

The other changes to Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster on the Switch 2 feel like appropriate quality of life additions. While newcomers might not use the fast forward auto-play option as much, I admit to using it a few times early on to see how it worked and get to a full party faster. It's a great option! The 50% to 200% encounter rate is handy for grinding, and I love being able to have four possible presets for the auto-battle function that carries over when fights start. Because of the way I play, I didn't need the "recommended level" for dungeons, but I expect that will be quite handy for others. I also think the way Souls appear every 24 hours in-town is helpful, since getting folks to help rebuild Norende or allies for attacks would be as easy as it was in the 3DS years.

While the two new minigames are fun enough, rebuilding Norende still feels like the most valuable optional activity. The souls you gather from towns from other players allow you to assign those "townsfolk" to unlocking and upgrading tasks in the fledgeling village following the devastation at the beginning of the game. This adds more to a shop, additional Special Moves, and sometimes bonuses for just stopping by. It's great to load up folks on a task to bring the timing down to 15-30 minutes when you're active, then spread them out when you'll be sleeping or away for 12-24 hours.

I will say that I sort of feel like the Luxencheer Rhythm Catch and Ringabel's Panic Cruise minigames in
Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster are better introductions to the Switch 2 Joy-Con mouse controls than Nintendo's Welcome Tour. In Ringabel's Panic Cruise, you're actually using the left and right controllers in mouse mode to steer the ship, perform certain controls to hit altitudes, manage folks' requests, swat flies, and maintain speeds. It's interesting and a great showcase of the new feature! Luxencheer Rhythm Catch is a more typical type of rhythm game, with the mouse controls tasking you with catching note indicators with the energy line between your two lightsticks or moving in time with the (admittedly great) songs from the game's soundtrack. Both can be genuinely fun and show what the console can do.

Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster is a remarkable Switch 2 JRPG, and the core gameplay, mechanics, and story remain fresh and relevant. It looks beautiful and runs wonderfully on the Switch 2. I'd even say the new gameplay additions serve as a better introduction to mouse controls for the hardware than the actual tech demo minigame collection Nintendo created. Anyone who picks it up to go with their new system won't be disappointed.

Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster is available on the Switch 2.

Promo art for Pokemon NAIC 2025

Pokémon NAIC 2025 brings an exciting weekend for fans in the form of the North American Internationals, and you can make it memorable with the help of fresh Twitch drops rewards.

The NA leg will run between June 13 and 15. Even if you're not physically located in the States, you can still catch all the action via YouTube and Twitch. If you opt for the latter, you will receive rewards. As the rewards are available across different titles, you always obtain something cute and exclusive irrespective of your favorite game.

All Pokémon NAIC 2025 rewards and how to claim them

Getting the rewards is fairly simple and available for all virtual viewers. But you'll specifically have to watch the streams on Twitch after enabling drops on your account. This will entitle you to the available rewards.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x44g2AJMgps

Redeeming them from your Twitch inventory is slightly different based on the game you play.

Pokémon TCG Live rewards

During NAIC 2025, players can win digital copies of Special Illustration Rare Cards for Ethan's Adventure and Giovanni to add to their collection in Pokémon TCG Live. While The Pokémon Company has gone with item cards instead (unlike EUIC), we have two special illustration items.

More Twitch drops are expected throughout the weekend. You can also get an NAIC Deck Box/Sleeves by watching 30 minutes of Pokémon TCG Live gameplay on Twitch.

How to claim Pokémon TCG Live rewards

Once the codes for these items are available, you can redeem them directly in the game.

  • Go to the Shop and select Redeem
  • Enter the code NAIC25DESTINEDRIVALS and choose Claim Now

Alternatively, you can also redeem the code from the TCG Live website:

  • Click TCG Live
  • Select Redeem Code
  • Log into your account
  • Input and submit the code
  • Click Claim Now to get the rewards.

Ensure your Twitch account is linked to your Pokémon Trainer Club account to enable its drops.

Pokémon Go rewards

A code is yet to be revealed for Pokémon Go players, but you can watch 30 minutes of gameplay on Twitch to unlock a code for a Timed Research focused on Mandibuzz. The code appears to be user-specific.

  • Check your progress on the Twitch Drops Inventory page
  • The rewards will be sent to your Twitch inventory once you have watched for 30 minutes or more.

Pokémon UNITE rewards

A new code is available for UNITE players as part of the NAIC's day-one stream, and you can win more rewards by watching at least 30 minutes of the game on Twitch. Use the code NAIC2025 to win a sticker featuring the Pokémon North America International Championships logo. Watching 30 minutes of the stream unlocks a Mew Platinum Boost Emblem.

How to redeem Pokémon UNITE rewards

To redeem the rewards in UNITE, you'll need to:

  • Open up the game
  • Go to the Daily Events tab

PlayStation 5 Pro

PlayStation 5 has been Sony's "most profitable generation" for its consoles to date, the company confirmed in a business meeting today.

The PS5 has generated $136 billion in sales for Sony thus far, creating an operating income of $13 billion, both of which are an increase from the PS4, which generated $107 billion in sales and $9 billion in operating income. And so, of course, this means the PlayStation will be back again for another round of console gaming goodness.

Sony PlayStation earnings chart divided by console generations
Screenshot by Destructoid

The PlayStation 6, or whatever Sony decides to call it, is still a couple of years out, at least. While the company did not give any specifics during the presentation, it did hint at what to expect for its next generation.

"Our console business has evolved into a multi-faceted platform, and we now have a large ecosystem of highly engaged players across both the PS5 and PS4 generations, so naturally, there's a huge interest in our next-generation console strategy," CEO Hideaki Nishino said. "While we cannot share further details at this stage, the future of the platform is top of mind. We are committed to exploring a new and enhanced way for players to engage with our content and services."

For the first time ever, there are more monthly active users on PS5 than PS4, Sony confirmed during the presentation, and 38 percent of all users are subscribed to PlayStation Plus Premium or Extra, the two higher-cost tiers of the online service.

In short, Sony says that things are looking good for PS5, looking ahead to exclusive games like Ghost of Yotei and Death Stranding 2: On the Beach for 2025. Beyond, it touted Naughty Dog's Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet and Marvel's Wolverine as two more big single-player titles on the way, along with upcoming live service titles Marathon and Fairgame$ as more reasons to buy into the PlayStation ecosystem.

Beyond that, however, we may be looking at the beginnings of the PS6 generation sometime in 2027 or 2028.

Dune: Awakening game cover

MMOs like Dune: Awakening heavily depend on the performance of their servers. Without functioning servers, it's impossible to log on and play, as there is no single-player alternative. The servers can go down both expectedly during maintenance periods and accidentally.

It's important to verify the status of a game's servers before joining a session with your friends. Let's dive into how to check the Dune: Awakening server status, troubleshoot potential problems and find solutions for client-side issues.

Are Dune Awakening servers down?

As of June 13, the game servers are functioning as expected. Although June 12 experienced global outages across thousands of services, with subsidiaries of massive companies like Google, Nintendo, and Sony among the many impacted, Dune: Awakening wasn't part of this mix. Instead, it had scheduled maintenance around the same time.

https://twitter.com/DuneAwakening/status/1933417247009128887

Many factors can influence a game's status, from scheduled maintenance for bug fixes, reduced lag and stuttering, and content updates to unexpected outages, such as the one on June 12 that affected most of the web. Dune: Awakening's servers are operational at the time of writing, though this could change at a moment's notice. Although this issue was mainly prevalent during its beta testing periods, it can still occur after its full launch as well. In these cases, it's best to wait patiently in case you're unable to log in.

How to check Dune Awakening server status

There are no official tracking tools from Funcom to check Dune: Awakening's server status. Instead, you can use a mix of official announcement posts on Steam and social media and unofficial tools to learn more. Here are some suggested places to check:

The best places to check are the game's official X account and Steam community hub, as Funcom typically announces routine maintenance here ahead of time. There will be additional maintenance periods throughout the game's lifespan to accommodate content updates and hotfixes.

Routine updates are part of any MMO, and Dune: Awakening isn't any different. Once we have planned maintenance times available, we will update this guide accordingly.

What if it isn't a scheduled maintenance period, though? What if, instead, you're experiencing a client-side issue? If there's no evidence suggesting the problem lies in a server-side error or outage, you can use the steps below as quick, easy fixes for most bugs:

  • Check Dune: Awakening's download page for new updates
  • Make sure you have a stable internet connection
  • Close any background applications that can interfere with Dune: Awakening
  • Check the game's server status
  • Restart your PC or console
  • Verify your game's files
  • Uninstall and reinstall Dune: Awakening's
  • Uninstall and reinstall Steam, if applicable

While these steps aren't guaranteed to fix every issue, they're often the quickest and easiest way to solve minor problems. If you're experiencing an error that no one else seems to have, you can also contact Funcom's customer support page for a more detailed troubleshooting process and potential solutions specific to your circumstances.

Marvel's Wolverine PS5

Another PlayStation presentation has gone by without mention of Marvel's Wolverine, and so many fans and those around the industry were beginning to question the fate of the mutant.

Is the Wolverine project dead? Not so fast, bub. During today's Business Segment Presentation and Fireside Chat 2025, Sony highlighted its previous fiscal year, but also looked to the future. And that future thankfully still includes Marvel's Wolverine.

Sony Game and Network Service business segment 2025 presentation screenshot showing single player games
Screenshot by Destructoid

Wolverine developer Insomniac Games was the victim of a massive data breach and hack in December 2023. The game has been scarcely heard from or seen since it was announced in 2021, and the leaks from the hack likely meant the devs needed to rework a lot of the title, but it's still coming, according to Sony.

During Sony's slide show, a page about single-player games highlighted the titles that have been released every year since the PS5 launched since the turn of the decade. 2021 had Horizon: Forbidden West and Gran Turismo 7, 2022 had God of War: Ragnarok, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 in 2023, Astro Bot in 2024, and this year will have Ghost of Yotei and Death Stranding 2: On the Beach.

Under a time period titled "Upcoming," Sony highlighted Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet from Naughty Dog...and Marvel's Wolverine. So, as of now, the game is still coming, and Insomniac is still cooking and hard at work on bringing it to fruition.

The hack, which included everything from personal info of Insomniac devs to full story details and pre-alpha gameplay of Wolverine, probably had a devastating impact on the game's development. But seeing it appear in the showing from Sony today inspires hope that it will come out one day, when it's ready.

Insomniac has done a phenomenal job with the Spider-Man games, so gamers everywhere are eager to see Logan take center stage in his own story. I'm really happy to see that it's still coming, just not nearly as soon as everyone hoped.

Warzone high rise skyscraper

The live service games industry is a tenuous one. Continuing to support a game with live content month after month is expensive and daunting, and very few games have been super successful at it.

One of those games is Call of Duty: Warzone. The CoD battle royale mode launched in 2020 and has brought in players from around the world to hop into matches in Verdansk, Rebirth Island, Urzikstan, Al Mazrah, Caldera, and several other maps alongside multiple main CoD titles.

One thing that has stayed consistent, though, is content. Activision employs several studios to work on monthly updates for the game that add things like weapons, skins, operators, map updates, and more to keep things fresh. But doing so is pricy, and if the game is no longer turning a profit, it could be at risk of being sunset, having its servers shut down, or having its future live service content canceled.

Could this ever happen to Call of Duty, the biggest and best-selling series year in and year out? Here's what we know so far about the possibility of Warzone shutting down.

Is Warzone shutting down?

Warzone Overlook zipline operator
Image via Activision

There is no evidence of Call of Duty: Warzone ending or shutting down anytime soon, contrary to rumors that have been spreading online in June 2025. Any talk about Warzone's successes or failures outside of direct confirmation from Activision is just conjecture or rumors at this point.

Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, however, did just recently shut down. The game is no longer available to download from the App Store or Play Store as of May 18, 2025. Activision said the game "unfortunately has not met our expectations with mobile-first players like it has with PC and console audiences."

Warzone on console and PC, though, is still likely a profitable venture. There has been a lot of controversy surrounding the game since it launched, largely due to issues with hacking and cheating. However, discussion about Warzone being shut down really gained momentum with the launch of season three of Black Ops 6 and the introduction of Verdansk.

Rumors began circulating earlier this year about Warzone when CoD leaker @TheGhostofHope posted that "Warzone 3" would not be happening in 2026 "if Verdansk fails to retain current/returning players." This report, while unconfirmed, is always possible, as is anything when it comes to the gaming industry.

Warzone sliding operator attack
Image via Activision

For now, Warzone appears to be here to stay for the foreseeable future. Could that change at any time? Of course. If the game keeps waning in popularity and becomes less profitable, there is room for a shakeup of the CoD BR.

This article will be updated with new information whenever necessary.

The Trello board is huge, which can make it a bit overwhelming if you're new to it. That's where the One Fruit Simulator Discord server comes in. Here, you can find more details about the game in text form and ask other players any questions you might have. That way, if you have a quick question that Trello doesn't cover, you can learn from community members or help newcomers get started. You can even find One Fruit Simulator codes here as a fun bonus.

Another place you can use to talk to others is the One Fruit Simulator Roblox group. If you're unfamiliar with Discord and mainly use Roblox's community groups to chat with others, you can join this group and find members to play with.

That concludes our complete guide to One Fruit Simulator's Trello board, Discord server, and other important links to help make your experience more fun. Be sure to check out our Roblox section for more content on this and other experiences.

The Chase the Skies update for Minecraft officially launches on June 17. Release times for major updates usually aren't shared ahead of time, so we don't know when this one will be available. Most past updates have launched at precisely 10am CT, though, so there's a decent chance this one will too.

Based on all recent past updates, we've set our countdown timer to 10am CT. If a different time is shared, we'll update all relevant details here. Leading up to the update release, you can check back here to see how much longer there is to wait before it's available to play. We've also listed the precise launch time across major time zones.

The Chase the Skies update features a new mob, several improvements to existing features, and a visual overhaul for Bedrock Edition. Here's a breakdown of all the major Chase the Skies update features.

  • Happy Ghasts - A friendly flying mob joins Minecraft with this update. The Happy Ghast starts off as a Dried Ghast, which you have to revive using water to turn it into a Ghastling. Once it's at this stage, you need to give it a bit more care by feeding it lots of snowballs to finally grow it into a rideable Happy Ghast.
  • Player locator bar - A new tool for tracking down your friends if you end up separate and are struggling to meet up again. It's displayed right above your inventory bar near the bottom middle region of the screen.
  • Leads update - Leads can now be crafted using only string and can be used to tether together multiple animals at once. This allows you to create a caravan of mobs as needed.
  • Craftable saddles - Saddles can now be made at any crafting table by combining one iron ingot and three leather.
  • New music disc - A new music disc drops when you defeat a Ghast. This doesn't apply to Happy Ghasts, only their more unpleasant counterpart.
  • Vibrant Visuals - If you're playing on Bedrock Edition, Minecraft is getting a huge visual overhaul. You can spot sunsets reflecting on water, shadows around forests, fog drifting through the air, and so much more. Although it's only available for Bedrock Edition with this update, it will also be added to Java Edition in the future.

Two fairies smiling at each other next to The Sims 4 logo, one who is tiny and flying with wings and one who is regular Sim sized and has orange hair

A new expansion pack called Enchanted by Nature is releasing soon for The Sims 4, and it promises to bring some pretty exciting features with it. If you're eager to start exploring everything it has to offer, you need to know the exact release time and date for it.

Since expansion packs are the largest form of DLC we get in The Sims 4, they're also generally the most exciting releases. There's plenty to uncover with this one, so to ensure you're ready to start playing as soon as possible, here's the exact time and date when The Sims 4 Enchanted by Nature will be released.

A precise launch time hasn't been shared so far, but The Sims 4 Enchanted By Nature expansion pack is confirmed to launch on July 10. It will likely be released at precisely 12pm CT since this is the time most packs become available.

The Enchanted by Nature expansion pack features Fairies as a new playable occult and several other gameplay features related to living in harmony with nature. There's a lot packed in this one, so here's a breakdown of the key gameplay content.

  • Fairies - A new occult Sim with two branching paths, Harmonious Fairy and Discordant Fairy. You can equip and paint wings, help plants grow, change other Sims' moods, manipulate objects, and more.
  • Innisgreen - A lush new world you can visit or live in. It has three neighborhoods, including the Coast of Adhmor village area, the Sprucederry Grove shop and home region, and the Everdew magical forest area.
  • Naturopath - A fresh career Sims can join to focus on curing Sims from Ailments.
  • Luck - A gameplay system where Sims can have good, bad, or ordinary luck, which affects all aspects of their life.
  • Living off the land - Sims can now sleep anywhere, forage for food anywhere, eat freshly caught Fish right away, and bathe in natural water sources around the world.
  • Houseplants - New indoor plants that need to be tended to just like outdoor ones.
  • Fairy Dust - Sims who aren't fairies can use this item to access some magical abilities, like bringing Gnomes to life and enchanting plants.
  • Ailments - New moodlets that result from being imbalanced. They give Sims weird buffs, but also come with drawbacks. Greenie Meanie, for example, allows Sims to finish Gardening tasks much faster, but also makes them super angry and very likely to lash out at other Sims.
  • Apothecary Table - You can use this item to make natural remedies and balance moods.
  • New Aspirations - Nature Nomad Aspiration and Elixir Enthusiast Aspiration.

While you wait for Fairies to finally fly into The Sims 4, there are plenty of other pack features to keep you busy. You may want to create some unusual Small Businesses, cook up some Family Recipes, or find all parts of the Nordhaven Bike Parts Collection.
