PCGamesN Wednesday, May 7, 2025 11:54 AM ![]() Nvidia is potentially about to announce a new CPU for PCs, featuring an integrated Blackwell GPU, according to reports. This is a story that's parked well and truly in the rumor and speculation space, of course, but if there's one company that has the resources to design an Arm CPU for the PC and make it work, it's Nvidia. If you want the best gaming CPU for your PC at the moment, you'll need to buy a chip based on the x86 architecture from Intel or AMD, as that's what the PC standard has used since the very start (for the most part, at least). However, with Qualcomm showing that you can run some PC games pretty well on Arm CPUs already, Nvidia could potentially make a big splash here, particularly in the race to make the best gaming handheld, where the benefits of Arm CPUs are keenly felt when it comes to battery life. PCGamesN Wednesday, May 7, 2025 10:43 AM ![]() Two new Intel gaming CPUs have just had a massive drop in price, with nearly 25% being wiped off the cost of an Intel Core Ultra 7 265K on Amazon. Originally launched at a price of $394, the CPU is now going for $294.99, just six months after it first came out. I originally gave this CPU a mediocre score of 5/10 in my Intel Core Ultra 7 265K review, as it had a serious bottleneck in several of our game tests, and it was too expensive for the performance it provided. Half-Life. FEAR. Trepang2. But I still can't fully reverse engineer the dynamics. With that in mind, Pigface - despite its grim, sleazy, DV-camera aesthetic - is ever so slightly magical. It's a horrible game criticism cliche, and it doesn't tell you enough, but at the same time, I know you know what I mean when I say that the shooting here feels great. Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Wednesday, May 7, 2025 12:26 PM ![]() Sony have announced a new PlayStation studio made up of former developers of Destiny, Halo, League Of Legends, Fortnite, and Roblox, plus a few industry newcomers. Called teamLFG - where "LFG" stands for Looking For Group, not the other, naughty phrase you're thinking of - they're based in Bellevue, Washington, and are dedicated to "exceptional action-based gameplay, moment-to-moment game feel, and richly social virtual worlds". Uuuuuurrrgh. Their first project is a "comedic" and "lighthearted" team-based action game set in a new science-fantasy universe. The PlayStation blogpost announcing all this is a wearying paean to an idea of the live service game that dates back to the original Destiny in 2014. It's written in the style of a cyborg that is trying to remember how to love. There is, however, a spark of eccentricity at the end that makes the labour of being preached to about engagement processes worthwhile: the team claim to be inspired by "frog-type games". Billboard updated its charts for the week, and the Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 game soundtrack hit the number one spots in both the Classical Albums and Classical Crossover Albums categories. This is its first week in first place in both divisions.
The Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 soundtrack released on April 24, 2025, the same day the game launched. It could be found on streaming services like Soundcloud and Spotify, as well as purchased via storefronts like Amazon, Apple, and Steam. Lorien Testard composed the entire score, with Alice Duport-Percier contributing vocals. As a whole, the album consists of 154 tracks that appear throughout the game.
The process that led to Testard composing the Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 soundtrack is an unexpected one. As Sandfall shared on the game's launch day, Director Guillaume Broche found songs Testard composed in the hopes of becoming a video game music composer on a forum and SoundCloud. After hearing the examples and talking with him, Broche offered Testard the job.
There's also a "Behind the Music" video that explained Testard's process and showed some recording session footage while playing samples of the game's tracks.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is available for the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC worldwide.

Sega announced the English voice actors who will play characters in Yakuza 0 Director's Cut on the Switch 2, and many will return to voice people they played in past games. Most notably, Matt Mercer, who played Goro Majima in Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, and Yong Yea, who was Kazuma Kiryu in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, will return for this installment. There are also two trailers highlighting moments with Kiryu and Majima in English.
First, here's how Yea sounds when he appears as Kiryu again in the game.
Next, we can see how Mercer portrays Majima.
Here's the full list of Yakuza 0 Director's Cut English voice actors
There's also a video highlighting the "Bubble" theme song for the Switch 2 release of Yakuza 0 Director's Cut.
As a reminder, in addition to the new English voice actors appearing in Yakuza 0 Director's Cut, there are a number of other exclusives in this new Nintendo-exclusive version of the game. It runs at 60fps in 4K. There will be 30 new cutscenes to help expand on the game's story. A co-op, online multiplayer mode called Red Light Raid also ended up being added.

Famitsu shared a release date for the Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter remake. The game will apparently appear on September 19, 2025, which falls within the established 2025 launch window Nihon Falcom shared previously. Pre-orders are already available worldwide. Famitsu's official site also noted that more details about the game will appear in issue number 1,897. No sites updated to confirm it yet, with places like Steam still showing a "coming soon" notice. [Thanks, Famitsu and Ryokutya!]
We already had some idea that the game would appear around this time. This is because Pin Box revealed a limited edition Bracer Supply Box designed to accompany it at launch. That ended up being assigned a Fall 2025 release window when it appeared at the end of April 2025.
As a reminder, said Bracer Supply Box doesn't actually include a copy of the game. For $272.66, you get an Orbment replica with magnetic Orbment Quartz slots, a set of Orbment Quartz pieces for it, a replica of Estelle's bag, a keychain shaped like Joshua's dirk, a keychain shaped like the Agate Broadsword, a replica of the Junior Bracer notebook, a set of three pins that include the Bracer insignia, Estelle, and Joshua, an acrylic diorama of the two characters, and a set of art cards. Pre-orders for that close on May 29, 2025 and, since it is shipping from outside the US, people should expect the Trump tariffs to have an effect on it.
Here's how that looks:

The Pokemon Company has revealed that it worked with Asken to produce official recipes for some of the Pokemon Sleep meals in real life. People can now reproduce select meals from the Pokemon-themed sleep management game app, provided they can understand or translate the Japanese recipes.
Asken has set up separate webpages for each of the four recipes featured in this collaboration. The Pokemon Sleep recipes in question are the Limber Corn Stew, Petal Blizzard Layered Salad, Dream Eater Butter Curry, and Apple Acid Yogurt-Dressed Salad.
Preview images of what the Pokemon Sleep dishes will look like in real life are also viewable right below:

This collaboration appears due to the close relationship between the purposes of both apps. Asken is known for running a diet management consultation service on PC and mobile devices. Over 12 million people have registered for the service in Japan.
Asken has also uploaded a new related video on its YouTube channel. It introduced a collaborative research between the two apps and the University of Tsukuba's International Institute for Integrative Sleep Medicine about the correlation between sleep and food management for people's health.
The Pokemon Sleep and Asken Diet apps are both available on Android and iOS mobile devices. The former, a sleep management game app, is also compatible with smartwatches.

The roguelike genre's gotten crowded over the last few years, which means I'm always delighted when a title comes up that feels like it does tread new ground. While StarVaders does feel a bit familiar, given we're once again building a deck, taking turns on a grid to strategically wipe out enemies, and hopefully surviving an alien apocalypse, its welcoming nature, variety, and wealth of options for wiping out enemies mean it's quite a promising prospect.
Aliens are attacking earth. Things begin with Roxy fixing up a Gunner mech right as the assault begins. She vows to protect her loved ones and everyone else she can, now that she has a suit that lets her do it. But she's only one of multiple pilots with units standing by. Each person and their mech, be it Gunner, Stinger, or Keeper, employs different tactics and uses different types of artifacts and cards to push back against invading enemies.
StarVader feels like it mixes up a lot of different types of genres, but in action I would say it reminds me most of a hybrid of Into the Breach and Mega Man Battle Network. There is a grid ahead of you with advancing aliens. If they get too close to the bottom of the grid (or certain criteria are met in some circumstances), they can start generating Doom. If you reach five Doom in a run, you're all done. Success is tied to knowing which missions to take from the map, based on the assessments and potential rewards, building up your deck of cards showing the types of actions and movements to perform, and knowing when it is an acceptable time to basically overheat.
When a turn starts in StarVader, five cards will be dealt to you from your deck. These can include ones that shoot, fire bombs, deal damage, allow you to move, provide buffs, summon a support, or involve an array of different types of tactical actions. You will be able to see the areas where enemy attacks will hit on their turn. It is up to you to immediately mitigate that damage by moving or defeating the foe that would hit you, while also taking out as many advancing enemies as you can before their turn. While foes will typically wait to act until their turn, there will be some enemies that respond and move whenever you move, so you need to take that into account as well.
![]()
![]()
![]()
Now, here's when Heat comes into play. All of these characters are in mechs. Every action you perform generates an amount of Heat. So a simple movement or fire card will cause one Heat to be added to your gauge, but more advanced or upgraded actions could increase it by more than that. (Likewise, you will occasionally get cards that give you an edge for a turn by causing ones in a certain category, like with "Fire" in the name, to generate no Heat.) If you Overheat by performing an action when that gauge is full, you can still perform that move and have your turn automatically end after! However, for the rest of that match the card will be Burned and inaccessible.
A thing I really appreciated about this design direction is that StarVaders uses a risk/reward system to help frame gameplay, rather than leaving a person concerned about a mech and pilot's health. Overheating can be advantageous in certain situations and, as long as you don't go through your deck and need to reshuffle the discards back in, you don't need to worry about the Burned cards. Getting hit by an enemy attack adds Junk cards to the discard, which are essentially blanks that take up space and do nothing. So you're really able to focus on tearing through the increasingly numerous hordes of invaders and challenging bosses and prioritize the Doom they generate. Even if a situation gets sticky, being willing to push yourself could mean you'll still brute force your way through a bad situation. I honestly felt it helped mitigate an occasional issue I'd have with RNG in roguelikes and sometimes a string of bad luck in options and deals ruining a run. Especially since you can reset three times in a match if the problem came down to human error.
![]()
![]()
![]()
This isn't to say that won't happen. I did have one string of bad luck. But StarVaders seems like a pretty fair tactical roguelike. Especially since it grows with you. Winning means more enemies, new pilots, and opportunities to boost levels. Losing means more knowledge, more opportunities to strengthen yourself, and again more to do. I really felt a sense of growth as I played, so much so that by the time I did hit the difficulties and runs that would provide more of a challenge, I developed enough knowledge of the game and experience with card and mech types I liked to brainstorm possible approaches. In fact, I think the fact that it did involve factoring in different sorts of "classes" with bullet types, ranges, and the Heat gauge meant I was more likely to play differently each time, adding more replay value.
Also, I just generally love the ambiance around StarVaders. Yes, there is the same type of end of the world feeling as games like Into the Breach and Kaiju Wars. However, it also has the same sort of anime-esque flavor as something like Megaton Musashi. So even though it's bleak, it is also hopeful and vibrant. Roxy's story is a strong start, since we see how dire the situation is as she immediately heads out moments after preparing her Gunner. After I unlocked the Invasion difficulty, it suggested there's some alternate reality and timeline elements going on. I do wish there were a few more story segments, since these people seem so colorful and detailed, but what is here lets us focus on gameplay more.
I had absolutely no idea I'd enjoy StarVaders as much as I would, and it definitely adds something to the ever-growing roguelike genre. It's compelling, but inviting. You're given opportunities to learn, but it will absolutely challenge you once you've gotten accustomed to its nuances. There are plenty of options when developing your deck, making the prospect of additional playthroughs promising. Fans of the genre should check it out.
StarVaders is available for PCs via Steam. A demo is available on itch.io.

Although video game soundtracks rarely climb the Billboard charts, some defy the odds, from Minecraft's eerie serenity to Cuphead's brassy swagger. Now, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 ascends with artistic force, captivating listeners beyond gaming and proving that music born in pixels can echo far beyond the screen.
A glance at the Billboard Classical Albums chart reveals Expedition 33 proudly at number one, and rightfully so. Beyond its gripping story and fun-filled turn-based RPG mechanics, the soundtrack stands out as unforgettable. The main menu alone drew in so many players, myself included, with its captivating tone. I've found myself humming its theme all week, immersed in the haunting vocals and the delicate arrangement of strings.
![]()
What makes this triumph even more impressive is the serendipitous journey of Lorien Testard, the composer behind Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. His path to the project began in the most unexpected way—by sharing his SoundCloud compositions on a video game forum. There, Guillaume Broche, Game Director of Sandfall Interactive, discovered Testard's work, setting the stage for a fortuitous collaboration that would define the soundtrack of Expedition 33. It just goes to show how anything can happen in the video game industry, even if it starts off as a simple conversation on a forum.
Testard's own journey through the world of video games has profoundly influenced his approach to composing. On the official Expedition 33 page, he mentions that The Legend of Zelda features one of the most "unforgettable soundtracks." I can certainly see the inspiration behind this in Expedition 33, where echoes of that iconic score can be felt in the sweeping melodies and richly layered orchestration. But, of course, Testard adds his own unique spin to the world of music, and I reckon his work may inspire other virtuosos in future projects.
Considering that Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has claimed the number one spot on Billboard's Classical Albums, it's certainly a strong contender for Best Score and Music at the Game Awards. Heck, I would even argue it has the potential to take home the crown for Game of the Year, though there's still plenty of time left before 2025 draws to a close. With the year unfolding, the journey of Expedition 33 is far from over, and it will be exciting to see just how much more it leaves its mark on the world of gaming and music.

After your Disney Dreamlight Valley character unlocks and enters the Alice in Wonderland Realm, you'll reunite with Alice and the Cheshire Cat for the first time since before The Forgetting. While most Realm storylines involve you inviting its characters to your village, the Cheshire Cat works a little differently.
The Cheshire Cat is one of the trickiest villagers to recruit. He's got a very complex unlocking process with many different tasks to tackle, so here's a full breakdown of everything you need to do to unlock the Cheshire Cat in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Table of contents
How to get the Cheshire Cat in Disney Dreamlight Valley
![]()
You can unlock the Cheshire Cat by completing the Cat Tree Catastrophe quest in DDV. This is a pretty tough quest to get to, though, as the Cheshire Cat has a long sequence of tasks you need to complete before you can recruit him to your village.
All Cheshire Cat unlock prerequisites in Disney Dreamlight Valley
There are seven quests you need to fully finish to unlock the Cheshire Cat:
In addition to these seven quests, you also need to recruit Alice as a villager before the Cheshire Cat becomes available. The unlock process for her is tied to most of the previously mentioned quests, so you'll naturally unlock her while working on getting Cheshire Cat.
How to invite Alice to your Dreamlight Valley village
Before you can invite the Cheshire Cat to your village, you'll need to complete the Alice in Wonderland Realm's storyline and unlock Alice herself as a friend. This requires you to complete Wonders of Wonderland, The Queen's Maze, Teeny, Tiny Problems, and Leaving Wonderland.
Unlocking the Alice in Wonderland Realm's door will automatically begin the Wonders of Wonderland quest, letting you chase a bunny around the Plaza before jumping into a rabbit hole. This rabbit hole brings you into the realm where you'll meet Alice and the Cheshire Cat.
![]()
Following this sequence of events is the rest of the Wonders of Wonderland quest, alongside three additional missions involving Alice herself. The Cheshire Cat is involved but isn't the main character here. Nonetheless, locating Alice and helping her will let you invite her to your village and set the stage for the Cheshire Cat's arrival.
How to complete the Mannequin Madness quest
After completing the Alice in Wonderland Realm's storyline, you'll be able to begin the Mannequin Madness mission. Unlocking this quest initially requires entering Scrooge McDuck's shop, where you'll see trash piles and a strange mannequin that wasn't there previously.
![]()
This introduction leads into the rest of the mission where you, Scrooge, and Alice will work together to discover what the Cheshire Cat was trying to do here. Along the way, you'll interact with and clear away the mannequins, revealing some new clothing items to buy at Scrooge's shop. It's a relatively short mission, but it's crucial for unlocking the Cheshire Cat later in your playthrough.
How to complete the Chaos in the Kitchen quest
Next on the list is Chaos in the Kitchen, which begins right after Mannequin Madness ends. After completing this quest and entering Chez Remy, you'll notice pink footprints everywhere, initiating the Chaos in the Kitchen quest. Talking to Remy will have him asking if you can help clean up the mess.
![]()
Clearing away the paws will teach you a recipe for Cheshire Cat Tail, leading into your next task. You can make this dish using the following ingredients:
Fortunately, these are all early-game items, while Cocoa Bean is a mid-game ingredient from the Glade of Trust and Sunlit Plateau. Once you collect everything, cook the dish and gift it to Remy before leaving the restaurant. You'll notice more messes around Chez Remy for you to clean up.
Once you tidy up the area and return to the restaurant, you'll discover the Cheshire Cat waiting for you. Talk to him and humor his riddles to complete the Chaos in the Kitchen quest, bringing you one step closer to unlocking him as a character.
How to complete the Cat Tree Catastrophe quest
The final quest you need to complete to unlock the Cheshire Cat is Cat Tree Catastrophe. This quest starts with you speaking to Moana about some strange occurrences near her boat. Follow her to it, then equip your Phone to snap a photo of the strange Cheshire Catfish there.
Next, grab your Royal Fishing Rod and venture around Dazzle Beach to catch five Cheshire Catfish. These striped fish can be fished out of golden ripple spots all throughout the ocean. Head to Alice's house once you have all of them.
Inside, you'll find the Cheshire Cat waiting to speak with you. He's finally ready to join the valley, but before he does, you need to find the Cheshire Cat's Mini Tree in Alice's house. Once you find it, snap a picture with it, then chat with the Cheshire Cat about what to do next.
![]()
The final step in the unlock process is to place the Cheshire Cat's tree anywhere around the vast valley. You can place it in Dreamlight Valley, The Storybook Vale, or Eternity Isle. Wherever you choose to place it, approach the Cheshire Cat at his new home to officially unlock him as a villager.
The Cheshire Cat doesn't have an introductory Wishing Well cutscene like most other villagers, so although it might not feel like he's an official villager, he becomes one as soon as you complete the Cat Tree Catastrophe quest.

So Grand Theft Auto 6 is finally, actually happening. After shadow-dropping the second trailer for the game yesterday morning and breaking the internet, the dust has settled—and realizations are setting in.
Yesterday was a bit of a whirlwind. I've had Rockstar Games' Twitter notifications on for months waiting for this exact news, so I was prepared for it. What I wasn't prepared for, however, was how my mentions would be totally overwhelmed for the day after posting an innocuous musing about how the main characters likely won't be getting a happy ending, as is Rockstar's modus operandi of late.
The blooming love story between GTA 6's lead characters, Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, seems doomed from the get-go, and most people can agree with that fact, since the crime-doing duo seem heavily inspired by Bonnie and Clyde (it very famously did not end well for them). But beyond that, everyone seems to be struggling to come to an agreement on just how that love story will end.
"Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them," GTA 6's synopsis reads. "But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive."
Yeah, it's gonna get bad, and it seems like everyone is already preparing for the worst.
Just over a day since posting my tweet speculating how players will have to choose between the lovebirds, it clocked in 174,000 views, over 350 reposts, nearly 8,000 likes, and almost 100 replies of people who have their own thoughts about how things might, should, and could end between the two. It's not exactly super viral, but it's a big one for me, and so I've been having a great time reading everything.
It's all silly conjecture about a game that's over a year away from launching (and unfortunately, may get delayed again), but the topic is hotter than Vice City in the summer, with no shortage of opinions coming in from across the apps. We haven't even seen gameplay yet, but when it comes to this unfathomably hot couple that has been described as "bisexual panic," that doesn't matter.
What I can gather from wading through my replies is that, if GTA 6 comes down to a choice on who survives like in GTA 5's ending, then Jason, my boy, you're cooked. Lucia is a hottie, a cutie with a booty, a salacious Latina who has captured the hearts and wandering minds of everyone online.
![]()
I found several funny memes about how players would not think twice about offing Jason to protect Lucia, and I'm inclined to agree. Lucia is bad bad, and as one person said, "too hot to did." But I'd be lying if I said Jason wasn't a smoke show either, even if he's not my own personal particular thing. They are both red hot.
As one person so eloquently put it, "this game was made for bisexuals."
Many others are sick to their stomachs about even entertaining the thought of killing either one of them, like one person who said "I'll kill myself before letting anything happen to either one of them." Another chimed in with how they are "definitely killing the white man and saving the thick Latina," telling gamers "sue me early."
One of the most popular theories I keep seeing is that Jason is an undercover cop and will screw over Lucia in the end, while others think Lucia will be forced to turn on Jason for some reason. But in the court of public opinion after trailer two, Jason is stacking L's.
Here's some of my other favorites about how Jason will be buried if given the choice:
A lot of gamers are already torn on the idea and are hoping for a secret third option where they both live because they already feel an attachment to the two of them. And with just two trailers and a handful of screenshots released thus far, that's saying a lot.
![]()
There's always the chance for a happy ending where the couple rides off into the sunset (not likely), or they go out and die together in a romantic blaze of grimy glory (very possible), but for now, all we can do is sit and discuss and wait for the truth to be revealed next year.
We are 384 days away from the currently-scheduled launch of GTA 6. Keep those theories and wants coming.

The Cheshire Cat has finally joined your valley as an official villager in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Now that you can regularly interact with him, it's time to tackle his friendship quests. The first one is Furniture Fluster, and it's decently tough to get done.
Upon joining he valley, the Cheshire Cat immediately stirs up more trouble for you to fix in this quest. It's also a great one to finish to quickly build up your friendship with him, so here's a complete quest walkthrough for Furniture Fluster in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Table of contents
How to complete Furniture Fluster in Disney Dreamlight Valley
![]()
To complete the Furniture Fluster quest, you need to fix the messes that the Cheshire Cat made throughout several villagers' houses by returning all furniture to its proper place. There are lots of smaller steps throughout this vast quest, so here's a full breakdown of everything you need to do to get it done.
Visit the house of the Diamond in the Rough
Since nothing is ever straightforward with him, the Cheshire Cat gives you vague riddles as hints for which houses he tampered with. These hints are pretty similar to those that appear in events like the Garden of Whimsy Star Path, so you may already know the answer if you regularly tackle them.
The first vague clue he gives you is to visit the house of the Diamond in the Rough. This clue refers to Aladdin, who was referred to by this title during the film Aladdin. You need to have Aladdin and Jasmine unlocked to tackle this task.
Once you're at Aladdin's house, talk to him about what the Cheshire Cat has done. He's confused about all of the strange items that have appeared around his house, so it's up to you to get rid of them.
Collect the purple cutesy items from Aladdin and Jasmine's house
![]()
Your next task is to grab three purple cutesy items that the Cheshire Cat placed around Aladdin and Jasmine's house. The three times you need to recover are:
Despite being called "purple cutesy items," none of these objects are really purple, so it can be a bit tricky to figure out what you're looking for. All three items sparkle when you get close to them to make them easier to find and interact with.
Once you have all three objects, head back to the Cheshire Cat wherever you placed his tree during the Cat Tree Catastrophe quest. He doesn't provide any insight as to who the furniture you found belongs to, so it's up to you to deduce who the items match.
Find the owner of the purple cutesy items
The owner of the purple cutesy items you found is Daisy Duck, so track her down around the valley to chat with her about the situation. Head inside her house to see what chaos the Cheshire Cat unleashed there.
Collect the out-of-place items from Daisy's House
![]()
There are more items that aren't where they should be inside Daisy's house, so you need to collect three out-of-place items from around her home. The objects you need to grab are:
Put Daisy's furniture back in their correct places
Now that the incorrect furniture is gone, you need to replace the items Cheshire Cat stole from Daisy's house. There are three items you need to place around her home. Here's where to put each one.
Once everything is back where it belongs, chat with Daisy again. Neither of you is sure who the items you found around her house belong to, so it's time for you to solve another puzzle.
Find the owner of the old rusted metal items
The owner of the old rusted metal items you found at Daisy's is Wall-E, so track him down to discuss the situation. Follow him into his house once you've talked to him so you can put his furniture back where it belongs.
Put Wall-E's furniture back in their correct places
![]()
The next step is to replace all of Wall-E's furniture that you found over at Daisy's home. Here's where to place all three rusted metal items you found.
Chat with Wall-E once his furniture is back where it belongs. Talking with him helps you realize Aladdin's furniture is still missing, so head over to the Cheshire Cat to see if he'll give you any insight as to where it might be. Unsurprisingly, he's no help at all, so you decide to just craft the items Aladdin is missing.
Gather materials to craft Aladdin's missing furniture
To craft the items that are missing from Jasmine and Aladdin's home, you need to gather some materials. The items you need are Fiber, Softwood, Purple Rising Penstemon, and Green Rising Penstemon.
Craft Aladdin's missing furniture
![]()
With all of the required materials gathered, you can now get to crafting three pieces of furniture for Aladdin and Jasmine. Head to any crafting station in the valley and switch to the Furniture tab to find these three items.
Once you have all three items made, head back to Aladdin's house so you can place all of the items you made where they belong.
Put Aladdin's furniture where it belongs
You made three items, so you need to place all three objects around the house to replace the items the Cheshire Cat stole. Here's where each one goes.
Have a quick chat with Aladdin once everything is back where it belongs, then head back to the Cheshire Cat to discuss the entire situation. Talking to him this last time officially concludes the Furniture Fluster quest, although it certainly won't be the last of his antics you have to put up with.

The Cheshire Cat has some special rewards available for you if you tackle his Cheshire Cat Chaos event in Disney Dreamlight Valley. One of the most important parts of this event is finding and removing Cheshire Cracks.
These special cracks blend in with the environment quite well and are tough to spot even when you know exactly what you're looking for. You need to uncover quite a lot of them to progress in the event, so here's how to find Cheshire Cracks in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Table of contents
Where to find Cheshire Cracks for the Cheshire Chaos event in Disney Dreamlight Valley
![]()
You can find Cheshire Cracks randomly throughout all biomes around the main valley for the Cheshire Chaos event. They function similarly to regular digging spots, so where they choose to pop up is entirely random and looks different for each player. All of the biomes where they can appear are as follows.
Cheshire Cracks only appear around the main valley. If you have access to DLC worlds like Storybook Vale and Eternity Isle, you won't find them over there. Instead, stay only in classic Dreamlight Valley to hunt for them.
What do Cheshire Cracks look like in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
Cheshire Cracks look very similar to classic digging spots. They appear as small sparkling mounds of dirt on the ground. The only noticeable difference is that they have a slightly purple/pink color to them to match the Memory Shard inside.
How to remove Cheshire Cracks in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To clear away Cheshire Cracks, you need to equip and use your Royal Shovel to dig them up. Inside, you'll find a Star Coin or Memory Shard. The Cheshire Chaos event has a special memory you can only complete by finding and removing enough cracks to piece together the entire image.
The task you can complete by digging Cheshire Cracks is called Calmer of Chaos. You have to find 10 Memory Shards to piece together the entire image, but it may take you more than 10 Cheshire Cracks depending on how many randomly choose to be Star Coins instead.
![]()
How often do Cheshire Cracks spawn in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
Cheshire Cracks spawn every 15 minutes. There can only be up to five present at any point, so if there are already five around your village, more won't spawn until you remove them. They can be fairly tough to find and sometimes tough to distinguish from regular digging spots, especially in shadowy biomes like the Forgotten Lands and Glade of Trust, so it's best to dig up all the mounds you come across to ensure you don't miss any.
Next, you might work on finding Cheshire Paw Prints for the event. While you wait for more Cheshire Cracks and Cheshire Paw Prints to spawn, you may want to work on some Garden of Whimsy Star Path duties like giving gifts to a blonde and digging up a root vegetable with many eyes.

The Cheshire Cat in Disney Dreamlight Valley loves giving you complex riddles and puzzles to confuse and toy with you. While most are relatively simple to solve, finding where his Mini Tree is during his introductory quest is another matter entirely.
What is a Mini Tree? And why does he need a mini one rather than a normal-sized tree? The Cheshire Cat won't tell you, but that won't impact anything. Instead, our goal is to look around our Disney Dreamlight Valley in search of this tree in hopes of inviting the Cheshire Cat to our village.
Cheshire Cat Mini Tree location in Disney Dreamlight Valley
You'll find the Cheshire Cat's Mini Tree inside Alice's house. Starting from her front door, head forward and turn right to enter her bedroom. On your right, you'll spot a bookshelf and a red nightstand, with the Mini Tree painting nestled between the two on the wall. Take a picture of this image to progress through the Cat Tree Catastrophe quest.
![]()
Once you take a picture of the mini tree painting, an item version will fall to the floor for you to pick up. With the tree in hand, return to the Cheshire Cat to talk about it. Your character will realize he won't fit in such a small tree, but that's a problem he has already accounted for. He'll give you a riddle that translates to placing it somewhere in your village.
![]()
Now that you have the Mini Tree and a solution from the Cheshire Cat, head out into your village and place it wherever you wish. The biome you pick is entirely up to you. Unlike most houses, you won't have to pay any Scrooge McDuck construction fees for this one. Instead, placing it down will automatically cause the Cheshire Cat to appear there, letting you speak to him to conclude the Cat Tree Catastrophe quest and begin his Friendship missions.

Dahlia in Genshin Impact is one of the characters expected to become playable in version 5.7. As his potential release date gets closer, a reliable source has also leaked his kit, including Elemental Skill and Burst.
Here's everything you need to know about Dahlia's abilities in Genshin Impact, based on the leaks.
Dahlia kit in Genshin Impact leaked
Elemental Skill
According to leaks via Seele, Dahlia's Elemental Skill has two versions:
Misty Trace has the following effects:
Dahlia's Elemental Skill is nothing special. You can simply place a summon on the field and let it deal Hydro DMG after touching it or having an enemy touch it.
Elemental Burst
Upon casting the Elemental Burst, Dahlia deals AoE Hydro DMG to nearby enemies and grants an unnamed effect and a shield to the active character. The shield scales with Dahlia's Max HP and has an increased effectiveness against Hydro damage. Additionally, when the unnamed effect is active, when the shield expires or breaks, Dahlia consumes a stack of the special effect and summons a new shield.
You can obtain the stacks of this unnamed effect through the following ways:
You can get up to five stacks during each instance of this effect.
Talents
Dahlia has the following talents:
Dahlia's last talent is the same as Rosaria's, except it is active during the daytime.
Constellations
Listed below are all of Dahlia's Constellations in Genshin Impact:
Dahlia's C6 is pretty amazing since it revives the fallen party member, and it is a pretty rare ability. Overall, he is a decent sub-DPS and support unit.
Dahlia's abilities are subject to change since they are based on leaks.

It's finally time to recruit the Cheshire Cat to our Disney Dreamlight Valley villages. After weeks of watching him trash Remy's restaurant, confuse Scrooge McDuck, and trail paw prints around the world's realms, we're now officially inviting him to our village during the Cat Tree Catastrophe quest.
Table of contents
How to start the Cheshire Cat's Cat Tree Catastrophe quest
Before you can begin this quest, make sure you meet the following requirements:
![]()
As you advance through the Alice Realm, you'll unlock Mannequin Madness and Chaos in the Kitchen, letting you learn more about what the Cheshire Cat has been up to and why it's been so challenging to invite him as a villager. Cat Tree Catastrophe is the third and final mission in this series before leading into his Friendship quests.
Taking pictures of the Cheshire Catfish
You'll initially start the Cat Tree Catastrophe quest by entering Alice's house or approaching Alice. Shortly after walking close to her, the mission will activate automatically, prompting you to talk to Moana. Moana will show you some peculiar catfish that appeared on her boat, which you immediately deduce has something to do with the Cheshire Cat.
![]()
After discovering this strange phenomenon, take a picture of the catfish before fishing for five more. You'll find them in orange fishing spots around Dazzle Beach. If you catch a few and just need a couple more, head to Skull Rock or move a couple of houses in case the fishing spot appears underneath by accident.
Once you catch five Cheshire Catfish, return to Alice to proceed with the quest.
Finding the Cheshire Cat's Mini Tree
After finding some Cheshire Catfish and giving them to Alice, your next task is to enter her house. Upon doing this, though, you'll spot the Cheshire Cat himself, who'll give you several riddles involving a Mini Tree. Your goal is to locate this tree somewhere around Dreamlight Valley.
![]()
Although this sounds like a furniture item at first, it's actually a picture in Alice's house. Starting from the main foyer, turn into Alice's bedroom before turning right toward the plant and bookshelf. You'll spot the picture of the Mini Tree next to the bookshelf near a red mirror and a nightstand. Take a picture of this tree before returning to the Cheshire Cat.
Placing the Cheshire Cat's Tree
Now that you have the Cheshire Cat's Mini Tree, place it anywhere in your Disney Dreamlight Valley village to invite the Cheshire Cat as a permanent resident. Don't worry: you won't need to pay any Scrooge McDuck fees for this one.
![]()
Now, you're ready to conclude Cat Tree Catastrophe and begin his friendship quests following a brief conversation. If you want to hang out with the Cheshire Cat, you'll need to visit this tree and ask him to hang out once you reach Friendship level two. He'll occasionally vanish, but you won't have to worry about missing out on level EXP.

The Cheshire Cat is always causing trouble in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and his latest antics involve leaving paw prints around the village for you to clean up. They're decently tough to find, though, so you may need some help tracking down Cheshire Paw Prints.
Finding and removing these pesky prints is one of the main event tasks, so you need to get to work clearing away as many as you can find. Here's how to find Cheshire Paw Prints in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Table of contents
Where do Cheshire Paw Prints spawn for the Cheshire Chaos event in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
![]()
Cheshire Paw Prints only spawn inside specific Realms in DDV. They also spawn in a certain order, so you have to work your way through three different Realms in the right order to find all of them.
All of these prints appear as a collection of small, vibrant marks on the ground. They blend in with the environment decently well since they're fairly small, so be sure you're scanning each Realm carefully to find all of them. Check behind all furniture and objects in each Realm to make sure you don't miss any.
All Cheshire Paw Print Realms in Disney Dreamlight Valley
There are three Realms you can visit to find Cheshire Paw Prints:
You must find 20 Paw Prints in each Realm before the next one unlocks. This means you need to start by clearing away 20 in the Toy Story Realm, then 20 in The Lion King Realm, and finally 20 more in the Aladdin Realm. You won't find any prints in the next Realm until you get rid of all the ones that are present in the previous one.
As of the time of writing, only the Toy Story Realm has paw prints so far. The other Realms will likely become available in the coming days and weeks as the event progresses. When they do, we'll update all relevant details here.
How to clean up Cheshire Paw Prints in Disney Dreamlight Valley
You can get rid of Cheshire Paw Prints for the Cheshire Chaos event by equipping and using your Royal Watering Can to clean them up. They can be a bit tricky to target depending on where they spawn, so if you're having trouble, try a few different angles to get it done.
![]()
How often do Cheshire Paw Prints spawn in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
Cheshire Paw Prints spawn every 10 minutes. Up to five can be present in any Realm at once, so be sure to try and clear away all of the ones that are there to make room for more to appear. Since they take a bit to spawn, completing all event tasks does take some time.
While you're waiting for more Paw Prints to appear, consider tackling some Garden of Whimsy Star Path duties to pass the time. Some good ones to work on are giving gifts to a blonde, chatting with a curious young villager, giving Arendelle's Queen her favorites, and digging up a root vegetable with many eyes.

Skirk is an upcoming playable character in Genshin Impact and is expected to be released in version 5.7. As her potential release window gets closer, new leaks are surfacing online, sharing info on her kit—including her skills, talents, and Constellations.
This article briefly discusses all of Skirk's abilities in Genshin Impact.
Skirk kit in Genshin Impact leaked
Skirk is one of the characters in the silhouettes shown during the version 5.3 livestream. She is expected to be released in version 5.7 as a Cryo character.
According to the leaks via Seele, Skirk is likely to be a Sword user. This shouldn't be surprising since she is usually referred to as the "mysterious swordswoman" and Childe's master in Genshin Impact. The leaker also claims that Skirk is a pure main DPS unit that scales with ATK.
Next, let's take a look at Skirk's abilities, as per the leaks by Seele:
Elemental Skill
Skirk's Elemental Skill has two versions, which have the following effects:
Serpent's Cunning is the new energy type for Skirk, which she uses to charge her Elemental Burst. Meanwhile, the Sevenfold Flash is an enhanced state that boosts her abilities.
Elemental Burst
Upon casting Elemental Burst, Skirk consumes the Serpent's Cunning. When she has at least 50 Serpent's Cunning points, she consumes all of them and performs rapid consecutive slashes, dealing AoE Cryo DMG. For every Serpent's Cunning point above 50, up to a max of 12 points, Skirk's Elemental Burst DMG is increased.
Additionally, when she is in the Sevenfold Flash state, her Burst is replaced with an enhanced version that doesn't consume any Serpent's Cunning. And upon activating the burst, Skirk gains the Withering Effect that lasts until the end of the Sevenfold Flash state. After you unlock Skirk's first passive, she will also absorb nearby Phantom Rifts when casting the special Elemental Burst.
The Withering Effect has the following effects:
Skirk's Elemental Burst looks pretty interesting as it increases her special Burst and Enhanced Normal Attacks DMG.
Talents
Listed below are Skirk's potential talents in Genshin Impact:
Based on Skirk's leaked kit, she relies on her enhanced Normal Attacks and Elemental Burst to deal DMG. Furthermore, unlike other characters in the game, her Elemental Burst depends on her special energy bar instead of the Elemental Energy.
This also makes sense since the new Finale of the Deep Galleries artifact set is expected to be Skirk's best-in-slot set, and the equipping unit must have 0 Elemental Energy to trigger all the bonus effects.
Constellations
Here are some of Skirk's Constellations:
Since Skirk's abilities are only based on leaks, it is subject to change. You will have to wait a little longer for more in-depth info.

Is there such a thing as chaos that's calm? Anything is possible when it comes to Disney Dreamlight Valley's antics. As you unravel the Cheshire Cat's secrets during the Cheshire Chaos event, you'll uncover paw prints, discover mysterious magical rifts in the ground, and obtain goofy furniture rewards.
Calmer of Chaos is one of four duties you'll encounter during Disney Dreamlight Valley's Cheshire Chaos event. Unlike the rest that require you to find paw prints, this one delves deeper into magical resources. Let's talk about how to finish this duty and claim its rewards.
Table of contents
How to complete the Calmer of Chaos duty in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Completing the Cheshire Chaos event's Calmer of Chaos duty requires searching Dreamlight Valley for purple dig spots. They'll appear as small rifts in the ground that sparkle as you approach them. Each spot gives you a purple orb to interact with, revealing part of a Cheshire Cat memory. You'll need to complete this memory to claim your event prize.
![]()
Unlike the Clean Your Room duty, you won't have to enter any realms for this one. The easiest way to find these spots is to either naturally encounter them as you explore Dreamlight Valley or go into your furniture menu's bird's-eye view. This perspective makes it much easier to spot the purple magic underneath the earth's cracks, letting you pinpoint an exact location without searching aimlessly around the map. They can appear anywhere, so be prepared to scan each biome in detail until you find some spots.
![]()
You'll need to use your Royal Shovel to dig these spots. Uncovering one rewards you with a pink memory orb, which you can interact with to unveil part of the Cheshire Cat's memories. You'll need to complete this entire image to finish the Calmer of Chaos duty. There are 10 sections in the image, requiring you to dig at least 10 purple rift spots. It's possible to get duplicate memories, so the odds of you needing more than 10 are high.
![]()
Completing the Calmer of Chaos duty will reward you with the Twisting Rabbit Mirror. You can claim this item by heading into Disney Dreamlight Valley's map menu, selecting Events, and entering the Cheshire Cat Chaos event's Duties list.
When does the Cheshire Cat Chaos event end?
Disney Dreamlight Valley's Cheshire Cat Chaos event begins on May 7 and lasts until May 20. You'll have just under two weeks to travel around Dreamlight Valley, search for these dig spots, and uncover the Cheshire Cat's memories. Along the way, you can enter the game's realms to search for paw prints in hopes of finishing other event tasks, giving you even more rewards to use around your village.
