Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Wednesday, December 10, 2025 10:52 AM Rockstar Games' firing of more than 30 workers just over a month ago has once again been brought up by UK politicians, with prime minister Keir Starmer calling it a "deeply concerning case" which will be looked into by government ministers. Rockstar have been accused of union busting by the Independent Workers' Union of Great Britain over the firings, with the union having filed legal claims against the company. The dismissals reportedly followed a discussion on a union-focused Discord server in which staff cited emails from Rockstar about changes to the company's internal Slack policies. |
Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Wednesday, December 10, 2025 10:47 AM Today, AMD are prodding the launch button for FSR Redstone: a suite of upscaling, frame generation, and ray tracing upgrades that, just maybe, might stop Nvidia DLSS 4's campaign of strutting across the canteen and slapping FSR's lunch tray over in front of all the other graphics card technologies. To achieve this, FSR has become the monster it fights. Gone are the technologically simplified, GPU-agnostic measures employed by previous FSR versions; Redstone deals exclusively in more sophisticated machine-learning tools that specifically require the latest Radeon graphics hardware to function. The RX 9000 series, to be precise, just like how new DLSS editions always demand the newest, most AI-embracing Nvidia RTX cards. This lack of support for older Radeons is a major strategic shift, but AMD insist that the image quality and stability improvements will be worth it. To find out, I got hold of a preview driver for Redstone and bunged a Radeon RX 9070 XT into the RPS test rig. And, with apologies to anyone who bought an RX 7900 XTX: AMD might have a point. |

A Switch version of Homicipher will come out on March 26, 2026, and a physical version will be available as well. It'll have support in four languages: Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.
The game has a CERO rating of D, meaning that it's recommended for players aged 17 and up. It'll cost 5280 JPY after tax (about $33.70) for both the digital and physical versions. As a note, while there is support for four different languages, there are no voices in the game. Everything is communicated via text.
Homicipher first came out on Windows PC in November 2024. It has an overwhelmingly positive rating on Steam. As of the time of writing, 98% of the 2663 English user reviews for the game have been positive.
Developer Yatsunagi describes the game as a "female-oriented language decoding escape horror" adventure. In the game, you play as a girl who finds herself in another world full of half-handsome, half-uncanny men who speak in a language she doesn't recognize. The point of the game is to learn and decipher their language, communicate with them, and ask them to help you home. The potential monster romance is a bonus. You can read our review of Homicipher here.
Homicipher will come out on the Nintendo Switch on March 26, 2026. It is also on Windows PC via Steam.

The Danganronpa and Lawson collaboration will start in earnest from December 16, 2025. Aside from merchandise of the characters dressed up as Karaage-kun, you'll also be able to hear Nagito Komaeda (voiced by Megumi Ogata) speaking in the in-store announcements. [Thanks, Denfaminico!]
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uLnB_YHKf9E
While the collaboration goods will be available in store, you'll also be able to order them via @Loppi or HMV & Books Onlines. There will be eleven variations of the Lawson Karaage-kun and Danganronpa dolls, and each will cost 3850 JPY ($24.55). You'll be able to get:
Each doll will have the character's face poking out from a hood that resembles Karaage-kun, and they're in a box that looks like the one you get when ordering fried chicken. The Karaage-kun part differs depending on the character. For example, Kyoko has a cup of instant ramen on her, referencing a sprite that shows up late in the first game. The others have their school emblems.
Other goods include T-shirts, acrylic stands, and glitter pins. You'll also be able to buy Danganronpa bromides and stickers from the multi-purpose copy machines inside the Lawson stores.
The Lawson and Danganronpa collaboration will start in Japan from December 16, 2025. Danganronpa 2x2, a remake of the second game with a new scenario and new cases, will come out on the Switch and Switch 2 in 2026.

Nintendo's Rhythm Heaven games work because they are such a fantastic pairing of clever music minigames with wonderful music. That formula can be difficult to replicate, since a game is going to falter if it doesn't get both parts absolutely right. Bits and Bops is a concise little collection with minigames and music that actually does capture the same sense of whimsy. It isn't perfect, but it is delightful.
Bits and Bops is both the name of the game and a virtual record store we visit. Each minigame is set up as basically a new album, with shelves that feature 16 unique experiences and four mixtapes that combine the four from that shelf. (Think of that as being similar to the Rhythm Heaven remixes like ones we experienced in recent entries.) As we complete these games, which all might use one or in some cases two buttons, we earn little souvenirs and some other rhythm-based novelties that test timing.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AbziKeMD4Ok
As with Rhythm Heaven, the Bits and Bops minigames are short and almost tell little stories of their own. So the first is a cat photographer on a ship photographing a seal that will pop out of the water to hit a beach ball, sometimes juggling it. The standard note pattern, indicated by audio beats, involves one button press to take a single picture. If you hear a sort of syncopated beat, then you know the seal is about to juggle it, meaning you need to press the button three times in a row to take three quick photos. Another involves a game of rock-paper-scissors, with the timing telling you how quickly to throw out your choice. The mixtapes combine clips from all of the four previous minigames for a longer song, with the animations now featuring the same characters, but with a matching theme.
The fact that Tempo Lab Games based Bits and Bops on Rhythm Heaven is very obvious. One minigame involving ants marching is definitely Flock Step-like, only with the bell signifying a quick three-step instead of taking flight. One in which a robot is performing alongside two backup dancers sort of reminds me of Frog Hop in terms of gameplay, what with pattern-matching and waiting for the spin move, but reminds me of Love Rap in terms of appearance due to the use of a trio. The miner moles on a cart? That's See-Saw. While Fort Lifter involved nabbing peas with a fork and the hammer and nails minigame involves hitting nails, the gameplay and call-response element feels the same. I got strong Working Dough vibes from a minigame about a monkey tossing coins to a snake to get them into a chest, with the money featuring the same sort of sound effect as Hole in One. There are a lot of times when I felt like it was a fan game offering updated or additional takes on minigames Nintendo's team did before due to them feeling so similar, rather than entirely original. They're fun! They're also very "on the nose." How someone may feel about that might vary. I honestly wished there were more that felt 100% totally original ones, such as the minigame about the birds talking.
They are quite clever, though. The music in Bits and Bops feels very much like a tribute to Tsunku's work. The animated segments are cute and genuinely funny. There's a sense of pure whimsy woven throughout. I will note that in the introduction and tutorial, Tempo Lab Games makes a point of trusting your ears and not your eyes. However, the only minigame that really made me feel as though that was possibly true was the ants marching one. And that's only because during the initial tutorial, I didn't initially catch that the quick three-step came almost immediately after the bell.
While Bits and Bops is far shorter than Nintendo's Rhythm Heaven games, it absolutely captures the same spirit. It's a clear tribute that looks and plays well. Some of the minigames might feel even a little too similar, perhaps due to the premise, appearance, or song. As long as that doesn't bother you, you'll likely have a good time with this homage.
Bits and Bops is available for PCs.

The Old Peace 'Update Failed' error has started to pop up for Warframe players worldwide, and the community has run into a mud.
The update appears to pop up primarily for PC players. Whether you're playing on Steam or using the launcher, the error seems to be happening worldwide. Thankfully, Digital Extremes is aware of the problems at hand, and here's what you can do to download the files to get the update ready to play.
How to fix 'Update Failed' error in Warframe
The 'Update Failed' error appears to be happening due to an increased server load. The Old Peace is a major Warframe update that has plenty of fantastic content for fans to enjoy. The increased server load appears to be the main cause of the problem, as plenty of players are trying to download the updated files at the same time.
If you're getting the error, here's what you can do.
That said, the best choice is to wait for a couple of hours for the initial rush to subside. This will automatically reduce the load on the servers, allowing you to perform the download without any hiccups.
If you're among the lucky ones who didn't encounter any problem, you'll be able to start The Old Peace quest. Digital Extremes has introduced a skip-ahead system that allows you to experience all the new missions without having to complete the prerequisites.
If you're new, there are plenty of missions to complete before you can gain access to the rewards available as part of The Old Peace.

Cinderella is officially back in the valley, but she needs some help getting back in the groove of things in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Specifically, she wants you to assist her with her next project in the Cinderella's Custom Creation quest.
Friendship quests are some of the toughest missions to work through, as they often involve several tricky tasks you may not know how to get done. Here's a complete walkthrough for Cinderella's Custom Creation quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Table of contents
How to complete Cinderella's Custom Creation in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Recruit Daisy for Cinderella's project
The first step is to recruit Daisy to help out, too, as she's quite creative and Cinderella wants all the help she can get. Track down Daisy around the valley and chat with her to see what she thinks. Then, head to Daisy's Boutique to meet up with her and some other friends she invited to help out, too, and chat with Daisy inside.
Take pictures to inspire Cinderella
Cinderella needs some help getting inspired, so you need to take three pictures to help her out. These photos must be of specific features around the valley, including:
For the Sunbirds, you'll need to visit the Sunlit Plateau region and snap a photo with one of the birds flying around there. A Sunbird Companion you can equip doesn't count for this task; it must be one that's out in the wild.
For the White & Red Hydrangea and Citrine, the rules are a bit more flexible. You can either find these items out in the valley, or grab them from your storage and drop them on the ground to take some pictures.
This guide is a work in progress and is receiving live updates as we work through this quest.

There's a fair amount of donuts to bake in the Pokémon Legends Z-A Mega Dimension DLC, and the Alpha and Omega Old-Fashioned types are indeed tricky.
The process of making them is pretty much the same as any other donut, but the recipes for both Alpha and Omega Old-Fashioned donuts can be challenging to crack. This guide will list all the steps for baking both donuts without any hassle.

The complete list of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends Z-A has increased further with new additions from the Mega Dimension DLC, and there are some incredibly powerful options to add to your team.
TPC had already started sharing information about new Mega Evolutions as part of trailers and pre-launch material. However, we can have a better and firmer idea about which Mega Evolutions have been added exactly as part of the DLC.
This guide will list all the Mega Evolutions that you can find in Pokémon Legends Z-A if you have access to the Mega Dimension DLC.
All new Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends Z-A Mega Dimension DLC
The table below has all the Mega Evolutions that are now available in Pokémon Legends Z-A. To find them, you're going to need the DLC.
All six names mentioned here have been revealed in promotional events ahead of the launch. Mega Lucario Z is different from the rest as it's a Z-type Mega Evolution. The Z-type is a stronger variant of ordinary Mega Evolution, offering different looks and better stats.
Three additional Mega Evolutions have also been revealed, but I am yet to discover them in the DLC.
Mega Raichu X and Y were the first new Mega Evolutions revealed for the Mega Dimension DLC. The two forms were revealed with Mega Dimension earlier in September 2025 Nintendo Direct.
Raichu was followed by the reveals of Baxcalibur, Chimecho, and Zeraora in November. All three have better stats than their base versions and different body colors. Finally, Mega Lucario Z became the latest one to be showcased earlier in December.
There are a few more new Mega Evolutions you'll encounter in Hyperspace as boss battles.
Mega Tatsugiri has three alternate appearances as well, which I found to be really cool. If I discover any more names, I will duly add them to the table and lists that are mentioned above.

Charcadet is one of the toughest Pokémon to evolve in Legends Z-A Mega Dimension, and you'll need to find the Auspicious Armor and Malicious Armor to complete the process.
If you've been wondering about where to find the items, you have come to the correct spot. Both the Auspicious Armor and Malicious Armor are evolution items that can be found from a specific quest. This quick guide will help you find the items.
How ot get Auspicious Armor and Malicious Armor in Pokémon Legends Z-A
Both the Auspicious Armor and Malicious Armor are obtainable from the same side quest in Pokémon Legends Z-A. Since the quest is part of Mega Dimension, you'll need to have access to the DLC and clear the initial set of quests. The specific quest you'll need to access is No. 132 - Bitter Blue Flames vs. Blazing Crimson.
The quest introduces you to an NPC called Adver. You can find his location in the screenshot above. You'll notice that he has a Charcadet standing beside him under a bridge. Speak with him, and he will announce that he has both the Auspicious Armor and Malicious Armor items.
He offers you the items, but there's a catch: you can only pick one. Whichever one you pick will be added to your in-game inventory. He will use the one you don't choose on his own Charcadet. If you have a Charcadet in your inventory, you can use the evolution stone immediately.
Armarouge is a Fire/Psychic type, while Ceruledge is a Fire/Ghost type. You should keep this in mind when making your pick. As of writing, I haven't found a way of obtaining both evolution items (you always have to sacrifice one to find the other). Having the chance to obtain both items at the same time would have been beneficial, as we could have had both evolved forms of Charcadet at the same time.

Gardening is a crucial part of quite a few tasks featured throughout the Winter Warmth Star Path in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Sometimes, exactly what you need to garden is unclear, as is the case with the duties that ask you to find vegetables that might take you to the ball.
Star Path events often feature tricky riddles that are designed to test your knowledge of the characters residing in your village and the films they originate from. If it's been a while since you caught up on some of them, getting through this task may be tricky, so here's what the vegetables that might take you to the ball are in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

The vegetables that might take you to the ball are Pumpkins in DDV. This is one of several Cinderella-themed duties you'll encounter while working your way through the Winter Warmth Star Path event.
In Cinderella, the Fairy Godmother transforms a pumpkin into a carriage that Cinderella is then able to take to the ball. This magic, along with her dress, drivers, and all other details the Fairy Godmother puts together for her, only lasts until midnight, so the Pumpkins are a temporary way to get to the ball.
You'll encounter two separate duties that ask you to perform tasks with the vegetables that might take you to the ball. Both times, the quest you need to complete revolves around interacting with Pumpkins.
Harvest vegetables that might take you to the ball in Disney Dreamlight Valley
For the harvest vegetables that might take you to the ball mission, you need to harvest a total of 25 Pumpkins. You can grab them all in one go, or chip away at this task over time. Either method works, as long as you eventually harvest the required amount.
Pumpkin Seeds can be purchased from Goofy's Stall in the Forgotten Lands biome for 275 Star Coins. They take four full hours to grow, or about three hours and 35 minutes if you plant them in the Forgotten Lands area. For harvesting the 25 required for this Star Path duty, you get 15 Tokens to spend in the event.
Sell some orange vegetables that might take you to the ball in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To complete the sell some orange vegetables that might take you to the ball duty, you need to sell a total of 25 Pumpkins. You can do so by interacting with any of Goofy's Stalls and selecting 25 Pumpkins from your inventory.
If you don't have this may available right away, you can sell off what you do have and come back for the rest later. All Pumpkins you sell count while this quest is active, so you can knock it out in one go or work on it over time.
Pumpkins are by far one of the most profitable crops you can sell, so working through this task is beneficial for stocking up on both Tokens and Star Coins. Finishing this mission gets you 10 Tokens for the Winter Warmth Star Path.
You may need more Tokens to claim the prizes you're after, so consider working on some other event duties next, such as crafting a potion you can really "dig," collecting some shoreline shellfish, mining for oval gems, and crafting any refinement item. And if you haven't yet, be sure to get your free Sakura Blossom Dragon Community Companion, as it only became available with The Winter Ball update.

The valley is finally safe enough for Cinderella to return in Disney Dreamlight Valley, but you'll have to put in a bit of work to get her there. The unlocking process begins with The Pumpkin and the Princess quest.
Like all quests, this one has some fairly tricky elements, so you may need some help working through it so you can unlock Cinderella as a valley villager. Here's a complete walkthrough for The Pumpkin and the Princess quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Table of contents
How to complete The Pumpkin and the Princess in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To complete The Pumpkin and the Princess quest, you need to grow the Spell Pumpkin, build Cinderella's house, break the enchantment, and invite Cinderella back to the valley. There are quite a lot of steps to get done along the way, so here's a full breakdown of everything you need to do.
Bring the lost shoe to Fairy Godmother
Now that you've found Cinderella's lost shoe, head into the Fairy Godmother's pumpkin house to chat about what to do next. Don't worry if she's wandering around outside, as she'll automatically meet you inside once you visit her home.
Gather the ingredients to craft the Wish Enchantment
Your next task is to make a special Wish Enchantment that will help open the pumpkin so you can bring Cinderella back to the valley. Before you can craft it, though, you first need to gather the required resources, including:
Craft the Wish Enchantment
Once you have all of the required items, head to any crafting station to get started making the Wish Enchantment. Switch over to the Potion & Enchantment tab to locate and craft the required recipe.
Use the Wish Enchantment with your Watering Can
Open your inventory, select the Wish Enchantment, and choose the Use option to apply this magical potion to your Watering Can as a permanent upgrade. Then, head back inside Fairy Godmother's house to chat about what to do next.
Plant the Small Spell Pumpkin anywhere in the valley
Now that you've got the magic you need, your next goal is to plant the Small Spell Pumpkin. Head outside, use your Royal Shovel to dig a hole anywhere you like, and plant the pumpkin. Switch over to your Royal Watering Can to water it, then wait 15 minutes for the growth process to complete. Once you see vines spout out around it, interact with the pumpkin to harvest it.
Talk to Fairy Godmother
The Spell Pumpkin went missing in the growing process, so meet up with Fairy Godmother to discuss what comes next. She thinks someone might have taken it, and specifically that a notable chef in the valley may have mistaken it as a cooking ingredient.
Go to the restaurant to see if Remy has the Spell Pumpkin
Head over to Remy's restaurant, which is Chez Remy, to check in with him about the situation. Turns out, he did actually take it, so retrieve the Spell Pumpkin from him, then meet back up with Fairy Godmother to discuss what needs to be done next.
Place Cinderella's house in Dreamlight Valley
Now that you've got the Spell Pumpkin back, it's time to place Cinderella's house so you can officially invite her back to the valley. Open your inventory, switch over to the furniture tab, select the Fairy Godmother quest icon, and place Cinderella's house wherever you like.
Her home is quite large, so you may need to clear some room to place it if most of your valley is full. Once the outline is down, approach and interact with the Scrooge McDuck sign in front of it to spend 15,000 Star Coins to build it.
Place the Spell Pumpkin close to the Plaza's wishing well along with the appropriate furniture
With her house now ready to go, it's time to free Cinderella from the Spell Pumpkin. Place the Spell Pumpkin somewhere close to the wishing well in the center of the Plaza, then decorate close to it using eight elegant, yellow, and blue furniture items.
The items and the Spell Pumpkin need to be placed very close to the Plaza, so if you have this area quite decorated, you may need to temporarily move some things around. Once you've decorated, interact with the Spell Pumpkin to officially free Cinderella. Chat with Fairy Godmother one last time to officially finish this quest and unlock Cinderella.
There's plenty more to get done around the valley now that you have Cinderella at your side. Next, you might work on tackling Winter Warmth Star Path duties, like harvesting some red bush berries or digging for special crystals underground, and unlocking the Sakura Blossom Dragon Community Companion.

Cinderella has officially arrived in the village, but unlocking her is no easy task in Disney Dreamlight Valley. The first step in this process is finding Cinderella's lost shoe, which is located in the Plaza biome.
Since you're searching for one very small item in a rather large biome, it's a decently tricky task to get done. If you're having trouble progressing, here's how to find Cinderella's shoe in the Plaza in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Table of contents
Where is Cinderella's lost shoe in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
Cinderella's shoe can be found in the Plaza biome. Before it can appear there, you first need to unlock Fairy Godmother and open her "Fancy footwear gone astray? See your Fairy Godmother today!" letter, which can be viewed through your mailbox.
The missing shoe looks identical to the glass slippers Cinderella wears in the film by the same name. It's quite small, mostly see-through, and easy to miss, especially if you have lots of items placed around the Plaza. Luckily, it does sparkle, making it a bit easier to spot once you know what you're searching for.
How to find the lost shoe in the Plaza for Fairy Godmother in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Cinderella's shoe in the Plaza spawns randomly for all players, which means it does not have one singular fixed spawn location. Instead, you must scour the entire area until you come across it. For me, it spawned right by the top of the staircase that connects the middle of the Plaza and the Peaceful Meadow biome, but it will likely appear somewhere else entirely for you.
To find the glass slipper, carefully search every inch of the Plaza biome. If you have lots of buildings and furniture placed down, be sure to check behind all of it, as this item can spawn in hidden corners. You may also consider using furniture mode to get an overhead view of the area, as it can make the search much easier. Look for golden sparkles, too, as the shoe will have them once you're fairly close to it.
Once you find the shoe, you'll be one step closer to unlocking Cinderella. There's plenty more to explore in this update, too, like the Winter Warmth Star Path event and unlocking the Sakura Blossom Dragon Community Companion.

Disney Dreamlight Valley's Star Paths often incorporate tricky riddles to solve, and the Winter Warmth event has quite a few of them to navigate through. One of the tougher ones you'll encounter asks you to plant vegetables that make great coaches.
This is easily one of the hardest riddles to work out, as there are a few ways to interpret it wrong, and even if you do know what it means, you may not get the reference. Luckily, it's a fairly doable task once you understand what's being asked of you, so here's how to plant vegetables that make great coaches in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Table of contents
What are vegetables that make great coaches in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
The vegetables that make great coaches are Pumpkins in DDV, so you need to plant Pumpkin Seeds for the Winter Warmth Star Path duty. There are lots of Cinderella-themed missions throughout this event to accompany her arrival in the valley, and this is one of them.
Pumpkins are the vegetable that make a great coach because Fairy Godmother turns one into a carriage for Cinderella to take to the ball. This task means coach as in carriage, not coach as in teacher, so depending on how you first read it, you might've been thinking of something else entirely.
The first step for this quest is purchasing Pumpkin Seeds. If you don't already have some on hand, head to Goofy's Stall in the Forgotten Lands, where you can pick them up for 275 Star Coins. Then, all that's left to do is get digging with your Royal Shovel so you can plant them.
Plant vegetables that make great coaches in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To complete the plant vegetables that make great coaches duty for the Winter Warmth Star Path event, you need to plant a total of 25 Pumpkin Seeds. For this mission, all you need to do is plant them, not water or harvest them, so it's a fairly quick task to get done once you know what's being asked of you.
Later on in this event, you'll need to harvest some Pumpkins, so consider leaving these ones alone, so you're ready when that time comes. It's also a good idea to plant them in the Forgotten Lands or on the Forgotten Island, as Pumpkins grow a bit faster than usual while in these areas. Pumpkins usually take about four full hours to grow, but in these biomes, they take around three hours and 35 minutes instead.
You get 10 Tokens to spend after completing this quest. It's not much, so it's a good idea to work through some additional Star Path duties if you want to claim some of the bigger prizes. Next, you might work on crafting a potion you can really "dig," collecting some shoreline shellfish, mining for oval gems, and crafting any refinement item.

Some of the missions you'll encounter in the Winter Warmth Star Path event for Disney Dreamlight Valley task you with buying certain items from around the village. It's not always clear what you need to purchase, though, as is the case with the buy vegetable seeds fit for a ball duty.
You're only given this vague hint, which is designed to test your Disney film knowledge, to work with here. If it's been a while since you've seen some of the movies, there's a decent chance this quest may have you stumped. Here's how to buy vegetable seeds fit for a ball in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Table of contents
What are vegetable seeds fit for a ball in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
The vegetable seeds fit for a ball in DDV are Pumpkin Seeds. This task is a reference to Cinderella, where the Fairy Godmother transforms an ordinary pumpkin into a lavish carriage that Cinderella takes to the ball. Pumpkins are the only vegetable that counts for this quest, as no other ones are tied to this iconic ball scene.
You can find Pumpkin Seeds at Goofy's Stall in the Forgotten Lands biome. Some seeds can be purchased from multiple stalls across the main valley and DLC worlds, but these ones are only found in the Forgotten Lands so far.
Buy vegetable seeds fit for a ball in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To complete the buy vegetable seeds fit for a ball task, you need to purchase a total of 15 Pumpkin Seeds. Each packet of seeds costs 275 Star Coins, so you need 4,125 Star Coins saved up to buy the required amount.
For the purposes of this specific Winter Warmth Star Path duty, all you need to do is simply buy the seeds. You will, however, need to grow some Pumpkins for future missions in this event, so consider holding onto them and preparing an area to plant them as needed.
Although Pumpkin Seeds are quite costly, you only get 10 Tokens to spend in the event as a reward for your efforts. You'll need much more if you want to get your hands on the best rewards this Star Path has to offer, so consider tackling other tricky tasks next, like practicing MINE-fulness, crafting a potion you can really "dig," cooking a fairly fancy appetizer, and petting your critter Companion.

The Winter Warmth Star Path has over 100 complex tasks for you to navigate through in Disney Dreamlight Valley, with plenty of them only giving you vague hints to work with. One such task asks you to dig for special crystals underground.
This task is misleading in multiple ways, making it one of the trickiest ones to solve and complete. It's not too tough once you know what's being asked of you, though, so here's how to dig for special crystals underground in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Table of contents
What are special crystals underground in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
The special crystals you can find underground for the Winter Warmth Star Path are Vitalys Crystals in DDV. You can find Vitalys Crystals in the Vitalys Mines, which are located inside the cave tucked under the waterfall near the north end of the Sunlit Plateau biome. It's a hidden area that's separate from the main valley.
The wording of this task is quite misleading, as it asks you to "dig" for crystals. You actually need to mine here, so be sure to equip your Royal Pickaxe, not your Royal Shovel, as the description of this duty may lead you to grab the wrong tool or search for the wrong item.
It's also misleading because it tells you to look for crystals "underground." The Vitalys Mines don't feel like they're underground at all, as you enter through a cavern entrance that's on the same level as the rest of the Sunlit Plateau biome. Regardless, Vitalys Crystals are the only gem that works for this mission, so head to the mines to get going on this task.
Vitalys Crystals can be found in any of the dark black rock spots that have glowing blue cracks running through them. They're not guaranteed to drop from these nodes, but they are fairly common when mining in the specified area.
Dig for special crystals underground in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To complete the dig for special crystals underground duty, you need to mine a total of 10 Vitalys Crystals. This can only be done in the Vitalys Mines tucked away through the cave right in the middle of the Sunlit Plateau biome, as this gem cannot be found anywhere else around the valley.
When tackling this mission, be sure to bring a mining villager and have some ore and gem critter Companions equipped at your side. Both the villager and your loyal animal friends may find bonus goodies while you mine. These bonuses won't count for the Star Path task, but since you're putting in the work regardless, it's always worth having allies help you stock up on more resources for the future.
Completing this task gets you 10 Tokens to spend in the Winter Warmth Star Path event. This quest gets you some decent Tokens to spend in the event, but you'll likely need a bit more to get the prize you're after. Luckily, there are loads of other tasks you can complete next, like practicing mine-fulness, crafting a potion you can really "dig," petting your critter Companion, and cooking a fairly fancy appetizer.

Throughout the Winter Warmth Star Path, you'll be tasked with gathering all kinds of unique items in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Oftentimes, though, these tasks are disguised as riddles, as is the case with the harvest some red bush berries mission.
The valley has all kinds of fruit you can pick up, and even more if you have additional DLCs installed, so figuring out the right one for this task can be rather tricky. If this duty has you stumped, here's how to harvest some red bush berries in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Table of contents
What are red bush berries in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
The red berry bushes required by the Winter Warmth Star Path event are Raspberry bushes. There are plenty of different fruits that have a red appearance and grow on bushes in DDV, including those like Coffee Beans, Strawberries, and Spiral Strawberries, but for the purposes of this specific quest, only Raspberries count.
You have six different Raspberry bushes around your valley. Two of them initially start off in the Plaza, while the other four originate from the Peaceful Meadow biome. These bushes can be freely moved around anywhere you like in the main valley, though, so there's a good chance you relocated them elsewhere.
If you're not sure where you put them, tracking down your Raspberries can be a bit tricky. The only guidance you have is your map, which marks all harvestable fruit trees and bushes with a fruit icon. It doesn't distinguish what type of fruit it's marking, though, so you'll need to check all spots marked with this icon until you find what you're looking for.
Harvest some red bush berries in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To complete the harvest some red bush berries Winter Warmth Star Path duty in DDV, you need to harvest a total of 25 raspberries. You don't have enough bushes to get this done in one go, so completing this task takes a bit of patience.
Each Raspberry bush you harvest grants you three Raspberries. To ensure you gather as many as possible at once, be sure to bring along a foraging villager and two Companions who have fruit bonuses. The items they find won't count for the Star Path quest, but since you're putting in the work anyway, it's worth having these bonuses so you can gain additional items to store, sell, cook with, or otherwise use.
Once all the fruit on a Raspberry bush has been picked, the respawn timer for this item begins. It takes Raspberries about 17 minutes to regrow, so there's a bit of waiting to do with this mission.
Completing this task gets you 10 Tokens to spend in the event. This is the lowest reward you can earn from a single duty, and it's not enough to get you most prizes. If you're looking to stock up on more tokens, consider tackling other key Star Path missions like practicing MINE-fulness, mining for oval gems, collecting some shoreline shellfish, and crafting any refinement item.

The Winter Warmth Star Path event has quite a few vague and confusing tasks you need to work through in Disney Dreamlight Valley. One of the trickier ones you'll encounter asks you to sell snowman building material.
There are loads of unique materials you can collect around the valley, and arguably many that could technically be used to make a snowman. Only a very select few count for this task, though, so here's how to sell snowman building material in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Table of contents
What are snowman building materials in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
For the purposes of the Winter Warmth Star Path, snowman building materials include Snowballs, Carrots, Fabric, and Pebbles. There are plenty of other useful resources you can obtain around the valley, many of which you may think could be used to make a snowman, but only these four items count for the event. Luckily, they're all fairly easy to get your hands on.
Sell snowman building material in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To complete the sell snowman building material duty for the Winter Warmth Star Path event, you need to sell a total of 15 Snowballs, Carrots, Fabric, and Pebbles. You can break up the selling process however you like for this quest, such as:
Any combination of items works, as long as you sell 15. You also don't have to sell all 15 at once, so you can sell a few here and there as you work on obtaining more. Although any of the snowman building materials count, Snowballs and Carrots are my personal picks for this task, as they're the overall easiest items to get that count for this quest.
You get 15 Tokens for successfully finishing this Winter Warmth Star Path task. It's a decent prize, but not enough for most of the bigger rewards, so you'll likely need to work on some additional quests next. Some other tricky ones you may need help with are collecting some shoreline shellfish, practicing MINE-fulness, mining for oval gems, and crafting any refinement item.

The Winter Ball update has arrived in Disney Dreamlight Valley, bringing with it one of the very last princesses missing from the valley. The process for unlocking Cinderella looks fairly different from recruiting most other characters, so it can be a bit tricky to work through.
While the vast majority of villagers are unlocked by stepping into magical Realms, there are some who are instead hidden away behind secrets found in the main valley. Cinderella is one such character, so locating and meeting her can be tough. Here's how to unlock Cinderella in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Table of contents
How to get Cinderella in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To unlock Cinderella, you need to break the protective pumpkin enchantment in The Pumpkin and the Princess quest. She's not in a Realm like most other valley villagers, and instead can be met while in the main valley once you've completed a specific set of tasks. Here's everything you need to do to unlock Cinderella.
Unlock Fairy Godmother
Before you can begin the process of unlocking Cinderella, you first need to make sure you've unlocked Fairy Godmother. She first shows up in the quest Miracles Take Time, and is officially unlocked at the end of What's Left Behind.
Fairy Godmother joins the valley after you fix all six Pillars around the valley and unlock the Forgotten Lands biome, where you can find her pumpkin house waiting. You first work through the Miracles Take Time quest, then Forgotten Memories: Friendship, Forgotten Memories: Trust, Forgotten Memories: Nurturing, and finally What's Left Behind, at which point she's unlocked as a villager.
Find Cinderella's shoe in the Plaza
Sometime after unlocking Fairy Godmother, you'll find a letter in your mailbox titled "Fancy footwear gone astray? See your Fairy Godmother today!" which asks you to find Cinderella's shoe. Venture to the Plaza biome right in the middle of the main valley to start your hunt.
Cinderella's shoe can spawn anywhere in this area after you've read Fairy Godmother's letter. For me, it appeared right by the staircase that leads down into the Peaceful Meadow biome in the middle of the Plaza, but for you, it will likely pop up somewhere else. It can only appear in the Plaza, though, so this is the only place you need to check.
Complete The Pumpkin and the Princess quest
Once you have Cinderella's shoe, you need to get to work on The Pumpkin and the Princess quest. Meet up with Fairy Godmother in her home, craft the Wish Enchantment, and grow the Small Spell Pumpkin.
Next, you need to place the outline for Cinderella's house somewhere in the valley. When you have it where you want it to go for now, interact with Scrooge McDuck's sign in front of it to spend 15,000 Star Coins so you can build it.
With Cinderella's house now built, place the Spell Pumpkin close to the wishing well in the Plaza biome, then decorate around it with eight elegant, yellow, and blue furniture items. Interact with the pumpkin to free Cinderella and invite her to live in the valley.
All Cinderella friendship rewards in Disney Dreamlight Valley
As you work on building your friendship with Cinderella, you'll gain access to nine levels of rewards, plus unlocking the ability to hang out with her as soon as you reach level two. Here are all of Cinderella's exclusive friendship rewards.
There's plenty more to explore in The Winter Ball update. Next, you might work on some tricky Winter Warmth Star Path duties, like planting vegetables that make great coaches and digging for special crystals underground, or work on unlocking the Sakura Blossom Dragon Community Companion.

The Old Peace quest becomes available in Warframe after the update goes live across all available platforms, but starting the new storyline can be slightly confusing.
For the first time in the history of Warframe, we have a skip ahead system in place. This will allow new and returning players to enjoy the quest without having to go through the pain of completing the older quests.
This guide will inform you about all the prerequisites for gaining access to the new quest.
How to access The Old Peace quest in Warframe
There are two ways to begin The Old Peace questline.
It's important to note that while the skip ahead system is much more convenient, you'll have to choose the organic route later to get the quest rewards. The skip ahead only allows you to try and experience all the quests in advance.
If you want to unlock all the rewards, you'll have to organically clear a lot of content to get access to The Old Peace.
If you're a new player, completing all the chapters will require a lot of time. However, all the quests are amazing in terms of their respective story content, and you'll get a lot of valuable rewards.

The Bad Dreams Cruller donut is a vital quest item you'll need to complete the Mega Dimension DLC in Pokémon Legends Z-A.
The Hyperspace Lumiose Survey No. 6 is one of the more advanced quests you'll unlock in DLC. Completing it requires you to bake the Bad Dreams Culler donut using various berries. If you're confused about the exact process, this guide will lay down all the steps to completing the baking process.
How to bake Bad Dreams Cruller donut in Pokémon Legends Z-A
The process begins by starting the Hyperspace Lumiose Survey No. 6 task. You'll need to make the Bad Dreams Cruller donut and then let Corbeau know that you can take down the distortion over the tower. Go to Ansha at Hotel Z to begin your baking.
Once the quest is active, Ansha will provide you with the option to bake the Bad Dreams Cruller. Pick the "I'd like to try that cruller recipe" from the list of available options." To bake the donut, you'll need a red bar to appear on all five tastes: Spicy, Sweet, Sour, Bitter, and Fresh.
Naturally, it's best to use ingredients that provide you with at least four taste modifiers.
The last one can be anyone who has decent contribution points towards Bitter and Fresh. If done correctly, you'll have a mark through line appearing on all five tastes. You'll want to preserve the berries that I have mentioned here for the quest. I am unsure if you can complete the recipe with other types of berries, but the one in this guide seems to be the most convenient one.

There's a ton of RPG customization you can do in SBL Reborn from classes to weapons and more so a Trello really comes in useful. Luckily there is one and it's very well organized to keep track of everything. Here are the links for the official SBL Reborn Trello and Discord.
SBL Reborn Trello Board and Discord Server Guide
Here are the SBL Reborn Trello board as well as many other useful community links:
SBL Reborn has an exceptionally well-organized Trello that's basically like a Wiki with a ton of info on the game. You have everything form basic mechanics, a starter guide and controls all the way up to end-game content. You can find info on:
It's a massive Trello but you should also check out the Discord server. It's where all the announcements and update-logs are located so that you can stay in tune with the game. For an RPG game like this it pays to stay updated on the latest additions, changes, reworks, buffs and nerfs.
Plus, it's where you can chat with the community and developers. You can ask specific questions or tips since there's always a tester/experienced player who can help you out. Last but not least it's the best place to track codes and giveaways.
That's it for our SBL Reborn Trello board and Discord server walkthrough. Don't forget to check out the SBL Reborn codes for free goodies in the game.
