I've been keeping an eye on the Alienware Area-51 reboot ever since Dell teased it at CES. It looked sharp, had decent specs, but for a while, your only GPU option was the RTX 5080. gintama benizakura movie

Gintama: A New Retelling Benizakura Arc will appear on the official YouTube account for the show on April 24, 2025. This is the version of the movie that included new cuts and shots that weren't in the original show. [Thanks, ryokutya2089!]

April 24, 2025 will mark the 15th anniversary of Gintama: A New Retelling Benizakura Arc. The movie appeared in movie theaters on April 24, 2010. It's the first movie in the Gintama franchise and is a retelling of the Benizakura Arc, though with new and improved animation. It also included shorts where the characters talk with each other and Warner Bros in Gintama's typical meta humor.

The Benizakura Arc is the ninth arc in Gintama, taking place over the course of 5 episodes in the anime, and 2 volumes (10 chapters) in the manga. This makes it the first long arc in the story, which could explain its popularity. That it focused on Gintoki and Katsura, as well as introduced Takasugi and his Kiheitai, could also have to do with it. Whatever the reason, its popularity among the fans likely contributed to it being the only compilation film in the franchise.

Gintama: A New Retelling Benizakura Arc will appear on YouTube from April 24, 2025 in Japan. It'll only be on the channel for two weeks. Those outside of Japan can catch Gintama on services like Crunchyroll.

fate/grand order gallery

Lasengle launched a new update in the Japanese version of Fate/Grand Order that introduces a gallery feature. You can access it from your My Room, and look at past story stills or watch movies.

The gallery only applies to the main story and interlude. So any movies or stills that appeared during events don't appear in the gallery. As well, like most galleries in other games, you need to actually play said event in the game before they'll appear there. Since Fate/Grand Order lets you change your Master's physical appearance at any time, stills that show Ritsuka will show the version you currently have right now. If you go and change your character's gender, you can return to the gallery and see the alternate version of the artwork.

On April 9, 2025, Lasengle launched a campaign to thank players for 31 million downloads. This event will run from April 9 to 30, 2025, and you have a chance to pull for the 5-star Pretender, Lady Avalon. Gudaguda Close Call, which debuted in 2021, is also re-running its light version until April 23, 2025. Completing the event will net you the free 4-star Avenger, Mysterious Ranmaru X.

Fate/Grand Order is readily available on mobile devices.

Darkstalkers Morrigan Prime 1 Studio Figure Costs Over $1,000

Pre-orders for a new Prime 1 Studio figure of Morrigan from Darkstalkers are now open. The figure costs $1,099/186,890 yen and it is expected to ship sometime between July and October 2026. Like other Prime 1 Studio products, we will eventually see it worldwide. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

The new static figure belongs to the Real Elite Masterline series, and it features the popular Capcom character sitting atop a stone statue of various bodies, with a large black snake wrapped around the rock. The base features various candles, as well as a candelabra and several bats flying around the image.

So far, a bonus version of the figure has been announced that comes with a Morrigan nameplate, featuring similar motifs and written in the Darkstalkers font. The figure weighs approximately 10.5 kg (or approximately 23 lbs). It is a 1/4 scale figure, so it will stand at 55 cm (~21.66 inches) tall. A figure of Lilith was also announced to accompany it, but no release date nor pre-order window has been given yet.

You can check out the new Prime 1 Studio Morrigan figure here. She's shown from a variety of angles, and the stand is also shown on its own.

A Kotobukiya Bishoujo figure of Hsien-Ko from Darkstalkers was also revealed on February 2025. We should see that worldwide later this year. Both Morrigan and Lilith are also part of Kotobukiya's Bishoujo line. While it's been some time since a new game appeared, Capcom and companies keep various fighters alive via merchandise.

Other recent Prime 1 Studio figures include one of Dizzy from Guilty Gear Xrd and Saber from Fate/stay night.

The Prime 1 Studio Darkstalkers figure of Morrigan costs $1,099, and it is now available to pre-order at select retailers online. It will release between July and October 2026 worldwide.

Inside the Pump Room in Blue Prince

Every room in Blue Prince holds immense significance, whether a standard room or a colorful one. One such area is the Pump Room, which demands a specific requirement to access. Here's your guide on how to unlock and make use of the Pump Room in Blue Prince.

Where to find Pump Room in Blue Prince

To find the Pump Room in Blue Prince, you must unlock the Pool, which also gives you access to the Locker Room and Sauna. Typically, it costs one gem to open the Pool, so be sure to come prepared with this resource.

Unlocking the Pool in Blue Prince
Screenshot by Destructoid

Unfortunately, the Pool won't give you access to the Pump Room straight away. You still have to find it when exploring Mt. Holly. It took me several in-game days to finally land on it, and the same situation might happen to you.

How to use Pump Room in Blue Prince

The Pump Room allows you to control the water flow throughout the estate. You can drain or fill up the water in the following areas:

  • Fountain
  • Reservoir
  • Aquarium
  • Kitchen
  • Greenhouse
  • Pool

To change the flow of water in a room, you must first look for Blue Prince's Pump Room Schematic to see the complete layout.

Pipe blueprint in Pump Room
Screenshot by Destructoid

The numbered pipes shown on this paper correspond to the pipes inside the room and the lit panel. So, if there's a particular room you want to drain or fill, you'll have to follow the piping and then interact with one of the pumps (objects with the red lever) connected to it.

If you push up the lever on the pump, it will drain the room. But if you push it down, it will fill it up. You'll most likely be draining the rooms to uncover hidden secrets. Areas like the Fountain, Reservoir, and Pool seem to benefit you the most when the water decreases. While the Pool offers rewards at the bottom, the Fountain can lead to the basement for the Antechamber. The Reservoir requires you to activate the power in the Boiler Room first to utilize the Pump Room's Reserve Tank.

How to solve Boiler Room puzzle in Blue Prince

When you find the Boiler Room, your first task is to turn the valves on three green tanks. One will be easy to access, but the others will be more challenging.

Green tank #1

First green tank in Blue Prince
Screenshot by Destructoid

Go to the bottom level of the Boiler Room and turn the valve. The pointer should now be in the green zone.

Green tank #2

Boiler Room second green tank layout
Screenshot by Destructoid

A barrier will block the second green tank, so you'll have to adjust the red pipes on the ground. Your goal here is to activate the moving panels near this tank and then get it to stop in the right position. The correct layout should have the straight-line pipe facing the stairs, while the other should connect the pipes to the second tank.

Green tank #3

Unlocking the elevator in Boiler Room
Screenshot by Destructoid

The last green tank is blocked off on the second floor. To reach it, you'll have to interact with the red pipes, with one pointing to the stairs and the other toward the red mechanism. You should also have the small lever (to the right of the first green tank) switched to the sideways position. This lever turns on the box for the elevator, allowing you to use it. Go up and turn on the last green tank.

How to activate Boiler Room

After you've activated the third green tank, turn the second-floor lever to the left. You should also open the gated door to give you free access to this floor without the elevator.

Opening the locked gate and turning the lever in Boiler Room
Screenshot by Destructoid

Go to the bottom level to turn the straight-line pipe away from the stairs. Then, turn the other red pipe to produce a T-shape. Lastly, ensure the small level is facing upwards. It should look like this:

Correct layout to activate the Boiler Room
Screenshot by Destructoid

Return upstairs to activate the Boiler Room. If you see three lit circles, you'll know you've done it correctly.

Activating the Boiler Room
Screenshot by Destructoid

You can change the pipe directions to activate specific areas, such as the Pump Room. Adjust the piping for the Reserve Tank in the Pump Room to drain the Reservoir. This area will take you on the path to Room 46, but you'll still have to complete a few more puzzles. For more help on Blue Prince, check out our guides on all achievements and safe code combinations.

Dungeons and Dragons Adult Blue Dragon

Dungeons & Dragons is full of deadly monsters, but only a handful stand out as truly dangerous to a well-prepared party. The following monsters are among some of the most feared in any active campaign.

Top 10 deadliest monsters in Dungeons and Dragons

The monsters selected for this list are notorious within the D&D community for being campaign-defining encounters. They're known to derail narratives and often lead to total party wipes. While Challenge Rating (CR) plays a role, I considered how these creatures interact with players. Be it through psychological manipulation, raw damage output, or their ability to twist the rules of reality in their favor, these beasts are never to be underestimated.

1. Tarrasque

A Tarraque in Dungeons and Dragons
Image via Wizards of the Coast

This Tarrasque is a walking disaster. It's immune to most status effects, reflects spells, and shrugs off non-magical attacks easily, making it a nightmare even for high-level parties. Worst of all, its Frightful Presence means that if anyone in your party is lacking in the Wisdom department, they won't join you in the fight. Lovely.

2. Mind Flayer

A Mindflayer in Dungeons and Dragons
Image via Wizards of the Coast

Mind Flayers alone are terrifying, with their psionic mind blasts and ability to devour brains. Their hive-mind intellect and ability to dominate weaker minds can quickly turn allies against each other. Worst of all? They usually operate from the shadows, before a party even knows they're involved. Baldur's Gate 3 featured these fiends front and center, and look how that turned out.

3. Dracolich

A Dracolich in Dungeons and Dragons
Image via Wizards of the Coast

A Dracolich takes everything terrifying about a lich—immortal undeath, powerful spellcasting, incredible intelligence—and fuses it with the overwhelming presence of a dragon. Killing one is nigh impossible because their phylactery is often hidden behind layers of magical protection or in outer realms. Facing a Dracolich is a campaign-defining nightmare that demands your party to fire on all cylinders.

4. Ancient Red Dragon

An Ancient Red Dragon in Dungeons and Dragons
Image via Wizards of the Coast

Red Dragons are already known to be highly prideful, greedy, and monstrously strong. An Ancient Red Dragon is a notch or two above them. With fire breath capable of instantly downing multiple party members and flight for battlefield control, these legendary monsters are as tactically dangerous as they are iconic.

5. Pit Fiend

A Pit Fiend in Dungeons and Dragons
Image via Wizards of the Coast

Pit Fiends are the generals of the Nine Hells and embody everything dangerous about devils. They combine infernal magic with martial dominance, and their ability to manipulate the battlefield through fear and infernal contracts makes them one of the most dangerous foes your party can ever face. Encountering a Pit Fiend often signals the turning point in a campaign where things go from bad to truly hellish.

6. Beholder

A Beholder in Dungeons and Dragons
Image via Wizards of the Coast

One of the most infamous monsters in Dungeons and Dragons, Beholders are tactical terrors. Their central anti-magic eye nullifies spells, while each of their eye stalks delivers its unique ray of violence: disintegration, petrification, death. What makes them truly scary is how intelligent and paranoid they are, always preparing their lairs with layers of traps and minions.

7. Kraken

A Kraken in Dungeons and Dragons
Image via Wizards of the Coast

The Kraken is a nightmarish aquatic horror to handle in any campaign. Its massive reach, control of water, and ability to call lightning storms can easily overwhelm most parties. And that's without factoring in its legendary actions or aquatic lair advantage, where it's all but unstoppable.

8. Death Knight

A Death Knight in Dungeons and Dragons
Image via Wizards of the Coast

Once a noble warrior, now cursed with undeath and vengeance, the Death Knight is a brutal mix of martial prowess and necrotic magic. These CR 17 foes command legions of the undead and resist death effects with ease, making them perfect long-term antagonists with personal backstories.

9. Balor

A Balor in Dungeons and Dragons
Image via Wizards of the Coast

Balors are towering demons of flame and destruction, wielding fire whips and flaming swords with brutal efficiency. When slain, it explodes in a massive fireball that can finish off any survivors. Facing one in open combat is already risky, but the aftermath alone can result in a full party wipe in tight quarters. A Balor encounter demands smart tactics, strong coordination, and a whole lot of luck.

10. Hydra

Hydra in Dungeons and Dragons
Image via Wizards of the Coast

The Hydra is a multi-headed, regenerating beast that strikes fear into adventurers who face it. In addition to its physical prowess, the Hydra's sheer durability makes it an exhausting enemy to fight. Its multiple heads can overwhelm adventurers, and each head attacks separately, often forcing the party to deal with multiple threats simultaneously. The regeneration factor also means that unless the Hydra is properly handled, it will keep coming back, no matter how much damage is dealt. It's a battle of attrition in the truest sense.

Finding a gem in Blue Prince

Gems are a crucial resource in Blue Prince, unlocking exclusive, high-value rooms that can make or break your run. These shimmering keys ease the pressure of this intricate game, and we're here to show all gem locations to help you through your journey.

Where to find all gems in Blue Prince

Though the manor changes with each passing day, patterns emerge the more you explore. Familiar rooms resurface, and with them, the chance to uncover precious gems. Here's a detailed breakdown of where to find every gem in Blue Prince:

Rooms How to Get
Storeroom Storerooms always have at least one gem inside.
Walk-In Closets/Closets These rooms often have gems in bundles.
Parlor Solve the three-box puzzle.
Den Dens always have at least one gem, similar to Storerooms.
Commissary Purchase gems from the shop.
Observatory Look into the telescope to gaze at the stars. Some constellations will reward you with gems.
Boudoir Enter the correct safe code combination in this room.
Utility Closet Solve the Breaker Box puzzle to gain two gems daily from now on.
Rooms with locked trunks Sometimes, you'll uncover trunks in random areas. Use a key or sledgehammer to open it, where you may discover gems.
Green Rooms Use the Watering Can in Green Rooms

Beginner players can start with rooms that always have gems inside, including Storerooms and Dens. The only downside to these areas is that they often lack an exit door, preventing you from progressing deeper into the mansion. I recommend balancing these rooms with others that offer more door options—this way, you won't hit a dead end and be forced to end your day prematurely.

When you're ready for a challenge, venture onwards to the puzzles in the Boudoir, Utility Closet, and Parlor. The Utility Closet is the most crucial method, as it will provide you with two gems daily for the rest of your playthrough. It's one of the best buffs you can get in the game, helping you out at the start of each playthrough. But it's tricky to do, so be sure to check out our guide on how to solve the Breaker Box puzzle.

Parlor box puzzle in Blue Prince
Screenshot by Destructoid

Using the telescope in the Observatory Room or the Watering Can in Green Rooms are two other reliable methods for finding gems. Depending on the constellation in the Observatory, you can score loads of gems. Even if you don't, you'll likely earn other valuable rewards like a trunk, coins, or keys. As for the Watering Can, you can use the water it holds in Green Rooms to obtain one gem. You'll need to track down the item first, however, either as a reward or by purchasing it from the shop.

Aside from the rooms mentioned above, gems can appear randomly throughout the mansion. I've even found a few just lying on the ground, and the same could easily happen to you. Some rooms can also reduce gem costs, such as the Terrace, which removes gem requirements in Green Rooms. Try to conserve as many gems as possible to increase your chances of reaching Blue Prince's Room 46.

Black Beacon promo art

Black Beacon is now out for both Android and iOS, and the game has a host of different characters to try out at launch.

There are a lot of similarities from other gachas in how you build your squad. You'll have to rely on your luck to pull for some characters, so going for the best options becomes important. This guide will help you figure out the best characters to use in the game and who is worth rerolling for.

Black Beacon unit tier list explained

Black Beacon has characters of two rarities: 4-star and 5-star. So far, a lot of the 4-star characters have outshone their higher-rarity counterparts, which feels great. To separate the characters, I have used the following tiers.

  • S-tier characters are currently the best ones to use in your squads. If you find at least one of them, it might not make sense to reroll.
  • A-tier characters are good to start the game, as they're quite close to the S-tier names in terms of their in-game strengths and abilities.
  • B-tier characters are okay characters that who you should replace in the long run.
  • C-tier characters are the weakest characters and should be replaced as early as possible.

Black Beacon tier list
Image via Destructoid/Tiermaker

Black Beacon S-tier characters

Character Name Role and Element Reason
Azi Assist and Thunder Despite being a 4-star, Azi has excellent debuffs that leave the enemies vulnerable by weakening their attack, defense, and resistance. Easy to build, and she can also reduce enemy speed at higher potentials.
Florence Destruction and Fire Has the best AoE attack in the game and also boasts the highest DPS potential. She can only get better at higher potential.
Logos Breaker and Light Her passive healing is useful when it comes to survivability and also deals decent damage. She can revive a dead ally at the highest potential.
Ninsar Breaker and Dark Has the ability to shield herself and her allies while dealing a lot of damage with her Ultimate. The cooldown on the shield is low, which aids the survivability of the entire team.
Zero Assist and Light She's my favorite 4-star (partly because we all get her for free), and you can reach her highest potential by just playing the game. So far, she's the only unit that can buff critical strikes. Pairing her with someone like Florence will make your team extremely broken.

Black Beacon A-tier characters

Character Name Role and Element Reason
Asti Assist and Water Has one of the best heals in the entire game, and you can obtain her pretty easily.
Ereshan Destruction and Dark Ereshan's DPS is on the lower side, but her teleport ability and attack speeds can help her escape tough situations. Ideally, you'll have to invest deeply to make her good in the current meta.
Hepae Assist and Fire She is one of the best support characters to pair with any powerful DPS units. She boosts her allies' attack and reduces the amount of damage they take, helping them to survive and do damage for a longer time.
Li Chi Destruction and Thunder If you can pair him with a good healer, Li Chi can be considered as S-tier. He can nuke single enemies and mobs alike, but sacrifices his health to do the damage. In my experience, he is a hard character to master, as you'll have to balance between his damage and losing health.
Ming Breaker and Fire Ming is a good alternative for Hepae in the assist role, as she can increase the damage potential of her allies with a cloak of fire.
Viola Breaker and Thunder Great at doing AoE damage that has extremely good range, and she's great in a support role.

Black Beacon B-tier characters

Character Name Role and Element Reason
Shamash Destruction and Light Shamash is pretty decent since we all get him for free, and he has the kit to excel as a DPS and Tank hybrid. While he's useful in the starting missions, it's better to replace him with a character who has higher damage potential.
Nanna Breaker and Dark A decent support who can act well as a secondary DPS unit in most squads. She's extremely hard to play, and it will require a lot of time to master her mechanics.

Black Beacon C-tier characters

Character Name Role and Element Reason
Enki Breaker and Water Enki has one of the hardest kits in the entire game. It's extremely difficult to hit the enemies with the lobbed energy ball, making it pretty clumsy,. It also takes an awful amount of time.
Wushi Destruction and Dark While Wushi's abilities are decent, it takes way too long to understand. There are easier and better DPS characters available.
Xin Destruction and Thunder While Xin is easy to learn, her potential as a DPS isn't high enough, and there are better characters in her role to pick from.

The meta will switch as we get new characters in future updates and the developers make tweaks to the kits of the existing characters, so nothing is set in stone. If you want the best possible start, make sure to reroll for the high tier units.

Blue Prince breaker box

Blue Prince's puzzles are no joke. More often than not, you have to read and memorize notes in multiple rooms to find the solution for completely separate challenges. The Utility Closet's Breaker Box puzzle is one of the most prominent examples, especially if you're trying to activate the VAC indicators.

Utility Closet Breaker Box Puzzle solution in Blue Prince

Your goal after entering the Utility Closet and opening the Breaker Box is to deactivate its keycard system, flip the three room switches to clear away their effects and unlock a new area, and activate the VAC Indicator's lights to unlock a permanent buff for the remainder of your Blue Prince playthrough.

Utility Closet Breaker Box puzzle hints

Blue Prince Breaker Box clue in security terminal
Screenshot by Destructoid

Blue Prince has a few ways to collect hints for this puzzle, including accessing Security Terminals using a network password and unlocking the mail room to access new written information. Here's everything you'll learn from both sources:

Hint Location Hint Details
Security Terminal (Requires Network password) The solution's white indicator can only activate after turning on six purple lights.
You'll learn the correct sequence for the puzzle (Off, Blue, Green, White, Red, Purple.)
Mail Room You need to turn on six green lights first.
Having red and blue indicators beside each other lets you create purple lights.

Using these hints, you can get an initial start on the Breaker Box's puzzle before turning them all purple and working backwards. By doing this, you'll unlock the white indicator, learn how to activate all four colors, and have the knowledge you need to figure out the solution. To make things easier, though, we've got the exact sequence below that'll outline how to finish this puzzle quickly.

Utility Closet Breaker Box puzzle solution

Blue Prince Breaker Box VAC Indicators solution
Screenshot by Destructoid

Here's a complete step-by-step to completing the Utility Closet's Breaker Box puzzle:

  1. Press every grey button once so they turn green.
  2. Click the first, third, and fifth indicators to turn them blue.
  3. Click the second, fourth, and sixth indicators to turn them red.
  4. Click the blue lights to turn the red ones into purple indicators.
  5. Turn any grey lights into red ones and repeat this process until five of the six lights are purple.
  6. Click the sixth indicator three times to turn it purple.

By now, all six of your lights are purple, marking the halfway point of this puzzle. Here are the rest of the steps from here:

  1. Tap the fourth light once to turn it white.
  2. Tap the sixth light until it turns red.
  3. Tap the fifth light until it turns red.
  4. Tap the third light until it turns green.
  5. Tap the first light until it turns grey.

Completing the Breaker Box VAC Indicator puzzle will open a secret compartment with an electrical lever, which you can activate to unlock the Gemstone Cavern. The Gemstone Cavern grants you two gemstones at the start of every day for the rest of your runs, giving you one of the most helpful permanent buffs Blue Prince has to offer.

All Breaker Box functions in Blue Prince

Beyond the VAC indicator puzzle on the Breaker Box, you'll also find options for activating keycard entry systems and various rooms. Below is every additional option and their effect:

  • Keycard Entry System: Turning this off lets you enter metal doors that are usually blocked by keycards.
  • Gymnasium: Turning this off disables the -2 step penalty you normally receive in the Gym.
  • Dark Room: Activating this turns on the lights in the Dark Room, letting you see Floor Plans while drafting as usual. Doing this before drafting the Dark Room won't work—you'll need to return to the Breaker Box after and reactivate this.
  • Garage: Activating this opens the Garage room's doors, letting you access the West Gate.

an image of a Bunny Basket with the PUBG Battlegrounds logo on bottom right

With the patch update 35.1, PUBG Battlegrounds introduced a new loot box that you can find scattered all across the bigger maps in the game.

Here's everything you need to know about finding and using a Bunny Basket in PUBG Battlegrounds.

Table of Contents

What are Bunny Baskets in PUBG Battlegrounds?

The Bunny Baskets are colorful egg baskets that are scattered across the 8x8 maps in PUBG Battlegrounds, such as Deston, Erangel, Miramar, Rondo, Taego, and Vikendi. They spawn only in Normal Match and Ranked modes.

an image of a Bunny Basket in PUBG Battlegrounds
Screenshot by Destructoid

How to find Bunny Baskets in PUBG?

Finding Bunny Baskets can be a little tricky because these items spawn randomly and have no fixed location.

However, what you can do is target the hotdrop locations in each of these maps. For example, Erangel's popular spots, such as the School, Georgopol, Quarry, Sosnovka Military Base, and more, have higher chances of Bunny Basket spawns.

How to use a Bunny Basket?

You need to pick up a Bunny Basket first by pressing the F button, just like any other loot, and it moves straight to your bag. Then, open and consume it. The process works exactly like how you would use a Medkit, Painkiller, or Energy Drink in PUBG Battlegrounds.

What's inside a Bunny Basket in PUBG Battlegrounds?

A Bunny Basket has an 18 capacity and contains healing items, such as a few First Aid Kits and Energy Drinks.

While these loot boxes don't give you too much, they can be handy when you require some healing items but don't find any nearby. A Bunny Basket will come to your rescue.

Collecting Bunny Baskets is a part of two events:

  • Eggsplorer!, which runs from April 9 to May 13, 2025.
  • Treasure Basket!, which runs from April 9 to April 23, 2025.

Nintendo Switch 2 logo

The Switch 2 may soon be available for preorder in the United States and Canada after being delayed by Nintendo, and the company's website may have spilled the beans.

Nintendo's site has a sign-up page for gamers to register interest in purchasing the new console from the My Nintendo Store. In the FAQ section at the bottom of the page, Nintendo teased that it would be close to another month before this could happen.

Mario Kart on the Switch 2
Screenshot by Destructoid

"The first batch of invitations will go out starting May 8, 2025, with additional batches of invitation emails sent periodically until purchasing on My Nintendo Store is opened to everyone," Nintendo said.

This is only for the My Nintendo Store thus far, but it could give an idea of when to expect preorders to go live elsewhere on retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, Target, and others. The date in the FAQ may have also been there for several days now, so it's unclear just how important it is for now. Whatever the case may be, it still offers the clearest indication of US preorder times for the Switch 2 at the time of writing.

To qualify to be invited to purchase a Switch 2 from the My Nintendo Store, "you must have been the one who purchased any Nintendo Switch Online membership, you must have had any paid Nintendo Switch Online membership for a minimum of 12 months, and you must have opted in to share gameplay data and have at least 50 hours total gameplay hours," according to the FAQ.

Switch 2 preorders were supposed to go live yesterday, April 9, but the company was forced to delay it after a new round of "reciprocal" tariffs levied against the rest of the world by Donald Trump.

"Pre-orders for Nintendo Switch 2 in the U.S. will not start April 9, 2025 in order to assess the potential impact of tariffs and evolving market conditions," Nintendo told Polygon on April 4. "Nintendo will update timing at a later date. The launch date of June 5, 2025 is unchanged."

With the tariffs going up and down on almost a daily basis, the Switch 2's $449 launch price could eventually increase before June 5, too, but here's hoping it stays where it is.

If you're looking for information on the Skyward Leap ability in Marvel Rivals, you've come to the right place.

Odds are, if you're searching for info on Skyward Leap, you're playing Marvel Rivaldle and are playing the Character Ability version where you guess the hero by their ability name. Don't worry, we won't tell anyone. And we've got all the info you need on how to keep your streak going in the addictive daily game.

Here's everything there is to know about Skyward Leap in Marvel Rivals and who the ability belongs to, along with other answers in the game for the day of April 10.

Marvel Rivaldle Skyward Leap hints and answer (April 10)

Hawkeye Skyward Leap ability in Marvel Rivals

Here's your last chance to try and get the answer on your own. We'll give some hints if you're still hesitant.

  • Hint 1: They are a Duelist hero.
  • Hint 2: They are a member of the Avengers.
  • Hint 3: They are not the only person to be known as this hero.
  • Hint 4: They have a Team-Up Ability with Black Widow.

Stop scrolling now! The answer is just below.

Marvel Rivaldle Character Ability 'Skyward Leap' answer

The hero who uses Skyward Leap in Marvel Rivals is Hawkeye. It's one of the archer's most important abilities, greatly helping him out with mobility and getting a better view of the battlefield from up high.

Hawkeye: Skyward Leap

  • Key: Jump (Space on PC, X on PS5, A on Xbox)
  • Cooldown: Six seconds

This is something of a passive ability for Clint Barton, as it functions as a double jump for the Duelist hero. Jump once, and then while in midair, press the jump button again to use Skyward Leap and launch the archer sniper higher into the on an arch to survey the battlefield and pick out targets below.

It can also be used to reach high places so the archer can rain arrows from high ground on unsuspecting enemies below, so be sure to use Skyward Leap whenever you can to maintain your advantage.

Difficulty rating for Skyward Leap Marvel Rivaldle clue

This was a tough one for me, as I don't really play Hawkeye, and since it's really just a double jump ability with a special name. It's a lot less noticeable or recognizable than his other abilities like Ronin Slash, Hypersonic Arrow, and Hunter's Sight, which could all more easily be attributed to the archer.

  • Difficulty rating: 8 out of 10

Other Marvel Rivaldle answers for April 10

  • Classic: Cloak and Dagger
  • Silhouette: Black Panther
  • Emoji: Hulk

Other games like Marvel Rivaldle

Other games similar to Rivaldle include LoLdle, which is for League of Legends, and of course, Wordle, which was purchased by the NY Times and is on their website. There's also Phrazle for phrases, Tradle for exports by country, and Worldle which lets you guess countries by their outline.

The Alters release date

After months of anticipation and a free demo across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, The Alters finally has a concrete release date. The upcoming sci-fi survival game could be a surprise hit of 2025, and fans don't have to wait that much longer to start playing.

In the guide below, you can see the current release date for The Alters and some other details about the game.

What's the release date for The Alters?

The Alters' long-awaited release date was announced during the Tripe-i Initiative livestream that took place on April 10. The live stream showcased a variety of games, and the Alters received new gameplay footage that provides some extra context behind what players can expect in the full build. You can watch the entire section on The Alters from the live stream in the video below, starting at 52:16.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tn6HrZMy8dM

At the end of the new gameplay footage, The Alters was given a release date of June 13. This looks to be a firm date, but delays could still happen between now and then.

[hurrytimer id="1049930"]

While the release date is still a couple of months away, the free demo across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, via Steam, Epic Games, and GOG, is still available to download. This gives new players a chance to test out the game and fans a chance to continue mastering the game's tricky mechanics.

When the release date for The Alters was shown, we also got a glimpse at some apparent pre-order bonuses and real-life products that will likely be included with certain editions of the game. We can see a sticker sheet, a space lamb charm, and some pins, among other items. It also seems like there will be physical copies for all platforms, including PC.

The release date for The Alters and a look at some edition-specific items. Image via Tripel-i Initiative

Physical copies on PC are largely a thing of the past, but it looks like developer 11 Bit Studios is attempting to bring them back in some capacity. Of course, the screenshot above could be purely for marketing purposes, but even physical copies for PlayStation and Xbox are a nice sight to see in this evolving digital landscape.

We'll have to wait for more information on the editions of The Alters, what they offer, and how much the game will cost. Hopefully, over the next couple of months between now and the June 13 release date, we'll see more gameplay and details about the game emerge.

Netflix's Devil May Cry was every bit the crass, colorful, demon-blood-coated romp fans of the games were hoping it would be, and the streaming giant has just confirmed it's coming back for a second season. Jackpot.

Netflix has renewed Devil May Cry for a second season

News that Devil May Cry will return for a second season comes just over a week after the first season premiered. The confirmation comes through a post on Netflix's official X (formerly known as Twitter) page, which included a snazzy new poster for the second season.

https://twitter.com/netflix/status/1910331989678338091

Some people, even a few Devil May Cry fans, are probably surprised that they confirmed a second season is coming so quickly. I've been watching the numbers, though, so I'm not. According to Netflix's charts, Devil May Cry has racked up over 5,300,000 views, placing it at #4 on the list of most-viewed shows on the platform right now. With a number like that, a second season was all but written in the stars.

When is Devil May Cry Season 2 coming to Netflix?

As of writing, we don't have a solid release date for Devil May Cry Season 2. Sadly, if the first season was anything to go by, Devil May Cry's second season will probably be out of our reach for a while. The first season debuted this year but was first announced in 2018. Now, I seriously doubt that Season 2 will take as long to make as the first; we'll probably have to wait at least a year or two before we get a trailer for the next chapter of Dante's adventures.

Dartboard puzzle in Blue Prince

The Billiard room features one of the most intriguing Blue Prince puzzles: a mysterious dartboard. Unlike the classic three-box challenges, this one offers minimal instructions, making it a true test of wit. We're here to help by showing you a few tips on how to solve it.

Blue Prince Billiard room dartboard puzzle solution

Although there aren't really any hints for solving the dartboard puzzle in the Billiard room, you can find one clue from a letter. This letter indicates that this challenge involves a mathematical puzzle and has nothing to do with the actual game of darts. Unfortunately for players, this puzzle has no fixed answer, as the solutions are constantly changing—much like the shifting landscape of Mt. Holly. But I can guide you in the right direction and help you navigate through the various equations.

Your main focus should be on the colors on the dartboard. When starting the puzzle, four colors can appear, each correlating to a math symbol. Here's a look into what they mean:

  • Blue: Base number for the equation (If there are multiple blues, add them up)
  • Yellow: Subtraction
  • Pink: Multiplication
  • Purple: Division

Each color can appear on the board next to a number. Blue-colored numbers are the most crucial, as they are the starting numbers. For instance, if the dartboard had one blue spot on 16 and two yellow spots on one and three, it would translate to "16 - 1 = 15" and then "15 - 3 = 12". Therefore, 12 would be the answer. Sometimes, there are multiple blues, so you'll need to add them together to find the base number for the equation. From there, you can begin multiplying, subtracting, or dividing, depending on the other colors present.

Typically, you'll start with one blue section, where you can tap on the number it's on.

Dartboard blue section on 6
Screenshot by Destructoid

Once you tap this number, more colors will show up. In my case, the numbers five, two, and one were blue. So, the answer would come out to eight. The third equation is where things get more tricky, especially since this minigame doesn't follow the mathematical order of PEMDAS (Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, and Subtraction).

Instead, the order requires you to add, subtract, multiply, and then divide. For example, I had a blue on 10, a yellow on four, and a pink on three. This comes out to "10 - 4 = 6" and "6 x 3=18," meaning 18 would be the answer.

Dartboard color explanation in Blue Prince
Screenshot by Destructoid

Each time you solve an equation, the colors will change again. You must solve four equations in total to open the dartboard, with the exception of the first answer (the simple tap of one number). Use the tips above to answer each one, and you'll eventually open up the board to acquire valuable items like a Security Keycard or Key. Although it's not mandatory to solve the dartboard puzzle in Blue Prince, it's still good to do for rewards. You can even come across it again on a different day, whether you solved it before or not. The solutions and rewards inside will, of course, be different—but hopefully, with this knowledge, you'll be ready to conquer them without losing your way.

What does it mean when the blue is on the bullseye in Blue Prince Darts puzzle?

After playing through the dartboard puzzle a few times, there's one scenario that really had me scratching my head. When the blue lands dead center on the bullseye, it triggers something entirely different. You have to multiply it with the same number it's on.

Blue spot on darts puzzle bullseye
Screenshot by Destructoid

In my playthrough, the dartboard had two blue spots on the four and the bullseye. That gives me the equation "4 x 4 = 16," so I would then hit 16. It might get even more complicated than this version, where you'll be juggling a whole mess of equations at once. In cases like that, you might want to grab a calculator to help keep you from getting tangled in the numbers.

OW2 Mercy in her Rose Gold skin

Overwatch 2's introduction of Perks this season has changed the game in a fun way, but some heroes are having a bit too much fun while others need some help in its next update.

In a new Director's Take blog for OW2, associate game director Alec Dawson detailed Perk changes coming in the season 16 update less than two weeks away, explaining how Blizzard decides what to do when it comes to balancing Perks moving forward after their debut.

Overwatch 2 Juno playable weekend
Image via Blizzard Entertainment

"We look at a combination of what we're seeing in the data—like pick rate gaps—and the amount of influence Perks have in moment-to-moment gameplay," Dawson said in the blog post. "If we feel a hero has a less impactful perk set overall, we also wanted to offer them new options. There's also constant iteration going on behind the scenes to dream up bigger and better options for future seasons."

Some of those "less impactful" Perks, for example, are Mercy's Angelic Recovery, Sombra's Stack Overflow, and Juno's Re-Boots, which are all being replaced. And that's just the beginning of what the patch will entail, according to Dawson.

Here are some of the new Perks coming in season 16:

  • Mercy

    • New Minor Perk: Angelic Resurrection - Gives 100 overhealth upon casting Resurrect.

      • Replaces Angelic Recovery.

  • Sombra

    • New Major Perk: Viral Replication - Allows Virus to spread to nearby enemies.

      • Replaces Stack Overflow.

  • Juno

    • New Major Perk: Locked On - Lowers cooldown on Pulsar Torpedoes for every enemy hit.

      • Replaces Re-Boots.

Dawson also teased that some Perks are a bit too strong, like Tracer's which allow her to triple Blink, and that will likely be nerfed or "dialed back," while the team is also aware that players have responded well to Perks that bring back old kit abilities like Orisa's shield and Hanzo's Scatter Arrow.

Elsewhere in the update, new hero Freja will receive some buffs in light of her playtest a few weekends ago. Dawson says that her Revdraw Crossbow will now shoot 12 shots before max spread, increased from eight, and her ultimate's damage over time is getting an increase along with an increase to its max radius.

These changes and more will go live in OW2's season 16, which is set to drop on April 22.

Fighting an enemy in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

The original Kingdom Come: Deliverance featured a brutal hardcore mode, bringing a new challenge for experienced players. The sequel promises a fresh twist on this, but it won't be available until after launch. Here's when you can expect KCD2's hardcore mode to finally make its debut.

When does Hardcore mode come out in KCD2?

According to the Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Twitter/X, hardcore mode will be released on April 15, 2025. The new updates have already started rolling out with the latest Barber feature, and now, Hardcore Mode is the next one on the list.

KCD2 Hardcore Mode art
Image via Warhorse Studios

I speculate that the update will be pretty massive, given that the Barber Mode had a substantial 90 GB patch. If KCD2's hardcore mode is anything like its predecessor, there will certainly be a lot included in the upcoming patch. For example, the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance removed handy features like fast travel, Henry's health/stamina bar, and auto-saves. The second iteration will likely follow suit, but we won't know for sure until more details are revealed.

We'll also be getting horse racing sometime after hardcore mode's launch. You may want to start preparing for this by looking for the best horses in the game, particularly ones with high speed. By the summertime, you can look forward to the new bonus quests from the expansion pass. This includes the Brushes with Death during the Summer, Legacy of the Forge in Autumn, and Mysteria Ecclesiae in Winter.

Jay and Silent Bob Operator skins

Hats are back in style as Jay and Silent Bob make waves in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Here's how to unlock their exclusive skins, including their Bluntman and Chronic alter egos.

How do you get Jay and Silent Bob Operators in BO6?

The Jay and Silent Bob bundle is now available in the Store for 2,800 COD points, translating to around $24. You can either purchase three 1,100 packs or get the 5,000 bundle for extra credits. Like all Operator skins, the Jay and Silent Bob pack will only be accessible for a limited time. My guess is that it will disappear from the shop by the conclusion of Season 3. Based on the Battle Pass timer, Season 3 wraps up by the end of May, so make sure to buy your packs before then.

In addition to the Jay and Silent Bob Tracer Pack, a Bluntman and Chronic Tracer Pack will soon be available. While the former comes with the duo's classic looks from the films, the latter shows off their comic book alter egos. The next bundle will likely cost the same amount of 2,800 COD Points. Let's go over what's included in each pack.

All features included in the Jay and Silent Bob Tracer Pack

  • "Bong Staff" Bo Staff with Joint Leaf Death FX
  • Smoke You Out Finishing Move
  • Did That Happen? Emote
  • Animated Joint Power Calling Card
  • Animated Blunts Out Suit Up Emblem
  • Doobage Duo Spray

The Jay and Silent Bob BO6 packs are similar to that of the Cheech and Chong bundles. Notably, their Finishing Moves are practically one and the same, unleashing a deadly attack with a smoking twist.

Besides the Jay and Silent Bob Operator Skins, the in-game store will have the Digital Dreamin' Reactive Mastercraft Ultra Skin during Season 3. The bundle is designed for true VR enthusiasts and is packed with a theme around gaming skills and equipment. You can also acquire BlackCell content, like the latest Hudson BlackCell skin. Or, you can try to go the free route and claim the exclusive Trailblazer Operator from Verdansk safe locations.

Other bundles will be released throughout Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 3, such as the Spectral Wold Mastercraft Bundle, Fanatic Rivalry Bundle, and Shattered Veil Reactive Bundle. The last bundle will be perfect for the BO6 Zombies' Shattered Veil debut, as the mode introduces a brand-new map.

Black Beacon is out officially on Android and iOS, but you can also reap the benefits of your PC hardware to play the game.

Unlike a lot of recently released gachas, Black Beacon doesn't have a full PC port available as of writing. Whether that will change in the future remains to be seen. You can play the game on an Android emulator, but the easier way on a PC is to use the Google Play Games Beta.

What is Google Play Games Beta?

Google Play Games is a PC client by the Google Play Store that allows you to play mobile games on your PC. You can use the PC controls, which are pretty different from the ones available on your phones. The full set of controls works well for several games, and you can also enjoy your PC's superior hardware.

Specs aside, you can take advantage of the larger screen. It's also easier to use than setting up an emulator, which is far more complex. The following section will guide you through the process and help you set up and install Black Beacon on your PC.

How to install Black Beacon on a PC?

The first task is to download and install the Google Play Games Beta. Once you have installed the application, log in to your Google Play account. You can search for a game from the left-hand side of the application.

  • Search for Black Beacon.
  • Install the game (the same way you install it on your phone).
  • Start the game, complete the in-game download, and it should be good to go.

A word of warning: the PC version seems highly under-optimized. The Free Roam movement does not work because you can't use your mouse freely. Your only option is to use the Top Down view, which feels a bit limiting, to say the least. A proper PC port would have been beneficial, but settling for the existing version is a solution if your mobile device isn't good enough.

Marvel Rivals lets you play as thirty-three of Marvel's most iconic heroes, villains, and anti-heroes. Like many other hero shooters, Marvel Rivals splits every member of its roster into different gameplay-based roles, with the three available in the game at release being Vanguard, Duelist, and Strategist.

If you've played Team Fortress 2 or Overwatch, you probably already know that certain characters in Marvel Rivals are perfect foils to others. Skill ultimately decides whether you beat another player in a game like this, but some heroes have an in-built edge over others. Sometimes, this advantage comes down to one character's playstyle exploiting weaknesses in another's toolset, and other times, hero-specific abilities can utterly shred a designated rival if you use them right.

The metagame is still in its infancy and there's a good chance it will go through a few shakeups as more newcomers join and experienced players discover new strategies. But for now, here are all the hero counters in Marvel Rivals.

All Vanguard counters in Marvel Rivals

Vanguards are for players who want to jump into the heat of battle. Armed with massive health pools and defensive buffs, Vanguards act as meat shields for their less-bulky allies, drawing in or blocking enemy attacks so their teammates can do their jobs.

Vanguard counters are usually heavy damage dealers or tricksters who can render their prey's defenses useless. Here are all the best Vanguard Counters in Marvel Rivals.

Hero Vanguard Counters Duelist Counters Strategist Counters Breakdown
Bruce Banner/Hulk Doctor Strange, Peni Parker Black Widow, Hawkeye, Punisher, Hela Jeff, Loki, Luna Snow Hulk is Marvel Rivals' bulkiest Vanguard, and bringing him down boils down to surviving his insane damage output or staying out of his range. Long-range experts like Black Widow or tanky Vanguards like Doctor Strange are effective, but Hulk's also incredibly vulnerable to Luna Snow and Mantis' stunning abilities.
Captain America Dr. Strange, Peni Parker Black Widow, Hawkeye, Punisher, Hela Jeff, Loki, Luna Snow Captain America is hard to fight face-to-face, but he's pretty limited in non-forward movement options. Use long-range Duelists like Black Widow to take him out before he gets too close or bulkier Vanguards like Doctor Strange can wear down his defenses.
Doctor Strange Hulk, Venom, Groot Black Panther, Magik, Star-Lord Luna Snow, Loki Doctor Strange is one of Marvel Rivals' most well-rounded Vanguards, but he's more of a team player than a one-on-one combatant. Vanguards who can tank his Black Magic splash, like Groot and Venom, are your best options, but speedy Duelists like Magik and Star-Lord are great picks, too.
Emma Frost Groot, Thor, the Thing Iron fist, wolverine Cloak and Dagger, Luna snow Emma Frost boasts a terrifying combo of survivability and crowd-control capability thanks to her diamond-hard skin and psychic abilities. Countering her boils down to getting her health down fast and limiting her ability to move your team around. Vanguards like Groot, Thor, and the Thing can shred Emma's health or block her from re-positioning your team. Agile tankbusters like Iron Fist and Wolverine can also shut her down by singling her out. Strategists fair the worst against Emma, but Cloak and Dagger and Luna Snow can cancel her ultimate on their own.
Groot Peni Parker, Dr. Strange, Magneto, Venom Hawkeye, Punisher, Winter Soldier, Hela, Star-Lord, Storm Hawkeye, Punisher, Winter Soldier, Hela, Star-Lord, Storm Groot is a tough nut to crack, especially when he throws down a few walls. Vanguards like Magneto have the health and damage output to go toe-to-root with him, but Duelist mains are better off picking him off at long range with heroes like The Punisher or Hawkeye.
Magneto Venom, Hulk, Groot, Captain America Black Panther, Magik, Spider-Man, Scarlet Witch Adam Warlock, Loki, Luna Snow Magneto's built to take hits and hit back harder by re-directing the damage stored in his rings, and his Metallic Curtain can shut down long-range attacks entirely. The best way to deal with the Master of Magnet is to get up close with brawlers like Venom or Iron Fist and drain his mammoth health bar as fast as possible.
Peni Parker Hulk, Venom, Groot, Doctor Strange Punisher, Hela, Moon Knight, Iron Man, Scarlet Witch Rocket Raccoon, Loki, Luna Snow Peni Paker and her SP//dr mech are masters of crowd control, seeding the arena with Spider Mines and sniping incoming foes with her respectable mid-range options. Hard-hitting Duelists like Hela and Moon Knight can grind down her impressive health pool while steering clear of her traps.
Thor Peni Parker, Magnet, Doctor Strange Hawkeye, Punisher, Winter Soldier, Hela, Star-Lord, Spiderman Hawkeye, Punisher, Winter Soldier, Hela, Star-Lord, Spiderman Thor is dangerous at close range and can clear distances scarily fast, but his massive hit-box makes him an easy target for heroes who can out-maneuver him. Doctor Strange is a perfect counter to him since he has enough health to tank his damage and can retaliate reasonably well with his magical spread damage.
The Thing Groot, Peni Parker Human Torch, Iron Man, Punisher, Storm, Winter Solider Loki, Luna Snow, Mantis Aunt Petunia's favorite nephew is all about taking hits until he can get close enough to disrupt the enemy team with Yancy Street Charge. Vanguards like Peni Parker and Groot can shut down The Thing's movement options, as can Strategists like Mantis and Luna Snow. Long-range Duelists, especially fliers like Iron Man and Storm, can also chip away at The Thing's health without getting close enough to be stunned.
Venom Peni Parker, Magnet, Doctor Strange Hawkeye, Punisher, Winter Soldier, Hela, Star-Lord Jeff, Mantis I hate to admit it, but Venom, my favorite character, has some glaring weaknesses. The King in Black is fantastic at close-to-mid range, but long-range combat is not his strong suit. Black Widow is especially good at tagging him from far away, but Mantis also great at tripping him up when he dives in for a rampage.

All Duelist counters in Marvel Rivals

Duelists are the most varied class in Marvel Rivals, but their function is to deal damage fast and rack up eliminations. Some Duelists bob and weave into the fray, carving chunks out of their foe's health bars and ducking away before they can retaliate. Others are better at picking off their foes from vantage points, using the terrain to stay out of harm's way.

Duelist counters also come in many shapes and sizes. Some have the health they need to survive an initial assault, but others have tools that can shut Duelists down before they can get a hit. Here are all the best Duelist counters in Marvel Rivals.

Hero Vanguard Counters Duelist Counters Strategist Counters Breakdown
Black Panther Groot, Venom, Hulk Punisher, Winter Soldier Jeff, Loki, Mantis Black Panther is a jack-of-all-trades, but he's so all-rounded that anyone can handle him. Tank his damage with Groot or Venom, take him out at a distance with Punisher, or stun him with Mantis. It's your choice.
Black Widow Hulk, Venom, Peni Parker Spider-Man, Magik, Black Panther, Star-Lord, Iron Fist Adam Warlock, Loki, Luna Snow Black Widow is fantastic at picking off foes from a distance, but she doesn't have many ways to dispatch heroes who've closed the gap. Agile heroes like Spider-Man and Venom can stay out of her crosshairs long enough to get in close and take her out.
Hawkeye Magneto, Doctor Strange, Venom, Hulk Spider-Man, Black Panther, Star-Lord, Magik Loki, Luna Snow Hawkeye can deal massive damage, even by Duelist standards, so do everything humanely possible to stay out of his crosshairs. Most Vanguards have the health to survive a frontal assault, but I'd recommend picking hard-to-pin-down heroes like Star-Lord or Loki and attacking him from above or the side.
Hela Magneto, Doctor Strange, Venom, Hulk Spider-Man, Black Panther, Star-Lord, Magik Adam Warlock, Loki, Luna Snow Hela is a literal goddess in long-range combat, so it's best to fight fire with fire and pick her off at a safe distance. If you aren't down to play Hawkeye, be ready to tank her damage with a Vanguard like Captain America or weave around her with a speedy Strategist like Jeff.
Human Torch Doctor Strange, Groot, Magneto Black Widow, Hawkeye, Hela, Namor Rocket Racoon, Invisible Woman Human Torch is one of the best zoners in the game, but he's not as fast as some of the other fliers. Snipers like Black Widow, Hawkeye, and Hela can pick him off before he gets to mid-range where he's at his deadliest. Tanky Vanguard like Dr. Strnage and Groot can nullify Human Torch's area-of-effect attacks by shielding their allies. Strategist mains can deal with Torch's mobility by using Rocket's wall-climbing ability to sneak up on him or pull him in close with  Invisible Woman's Force Psychics.
Iron Fist Magneto, Venom, Peni Parke Black Widow, Hawkeye, Punisher, Winter Soldier Adam Warlock, Loki, Luna Snow As a dedicated Venom main, Iron Fist is the bane of my existence, but he's not invincible. Fighting this martial arts master directly is a bad idea, so I'd stick with Strategists like Luna Snow or Loki, who can avoid his attacks through speed or deception and chip away at his health pool. If that doesn't work, pop him at long range with The Punisher or Winter Soldier.
Iron Man Dr. Strange, Peni Parker, Captain America Hawkeye, Punisher, Winter Soldier Adam Warlock, Loki, Luna Snow Iron Man's near-unlimited flight capabilities make it almost impossible to take him out with close-range heroes. Thankfully, long-range specialists like Black Widow or the nearly-as-mobile Star-Lord can quickly shoot him out of the sky.
Magik Dr. Strange, Peni Parker Hawkeye, Punisher, Winter Soldier, Black Widow Adam Warlock, Loki, Luna Snow Magik is a close-range queen, so fighting her face-to-face is a terrible idea. Stay at long or medium range and pick her off with The Punisher or Squirrel Girl, and be reading for when she starts teleporting to close the distance.
Mister Fantastic Groot, Magneto, The Thing Scarlet Witch, Hawkeye, Spider-Man Winter Soldier Mantis, Luna snow, Invisible Woman Mister Fantastic has a stacked toolset, but each class has at least one character that can counter him. Vanguards like Groot or Magneto can protect their allies from Mister Incredible's massive damage when he throws up Reflexive Rubber. Scarlet Witch can shut down his Elasticity stacking by staying at long range and taking to the skies. Ironically, the best Strategist to counter Mister Fantastic might be his wife since Sue's Force Psychics can isolate Reed from his allies and leave him vulnerable.
Moon Knight Captain America, Magneto, Dr. Strange Black Widow, Hawkeye, Punisher, Winter Soldier, Spider-Man Rocket Raccoon, Loki, Luna Snow, Jeff Moon Knight has more than earned his place at the peak of Marvel Rivals' meta. The Champion of Khonsu can close distances fast and has tools to fend off every flavor of attack, so anything goes. Bulky Vangiards, long-range Duelists, and crowd-controlling Strategists are your best options here, so make your choice and pray.
Namor Dr. Strange, Magneto Punisher, Spider-Man, Star-Lord, Hela, Black Widow Adam Warlock, Loki, Luna Snow, Rocket Raccoon Namor is excellent at fending off attacks at close and long range, but the King of Atlantis struggles to fend off assaults from mid-range. Vanguards with projectile options like Doctor Strange and Magneto are great picks, while Strategists who can shut down his damage output can render him useless.
Psyclocke Dr. Strange, Magneto, Peni Parker, Venom Black Widow, Hawkeye, Spider-Man, Iron Fist Rocket Raccoon, Loki, Luna Snow Scarlet Witch can deal an unholy amount of damage to opponents at all ranges, but her damage tends to creep up, not shoot up. Unless she's got her Ultimate ready (and trust me, you'll know when that happens), take this witch out at long-range with Hawkeye or the Punisher.
Scarlet Witch Groot, Venom, Hulk Punisher, Hela, Moon Knight, Winter Soldier Jeff, Loki, Mantis Scarlet Witch can deal an unholy amount of damage to opponents at all ranges, but her damage tends to creep up, not shoot up. Unless she's got her Ultimate ready (and you'll know when that happens), take this witch out at long-range with Hawkeye or the Punisher.
Spider-Man Peni Parker, Groot, Dr. Strange Scarlet Witch, Namor, Punisher, Star-Lord, Hawkeye Jeff, Loki, Mantis Spider-Man is one of the fastest heroes in MArvel Rivals, but you can pick him off quickly if you pin him down. Hit-scanning long rangers like Punisher can tag this spider reasonably well, and Strategists with stun potential like Mantis can hold him in place long enough to land a killing blow if he zips too close.
Squirrel Girl Peni Parker, Groot, Dr. Strange, Captain America Punisher, Hela, Black Widow, Hawkeye Loki, Luna Snow, Jeff Squirrel Girl can cut health bars down in seconds with her insane acorn spread shots, but she's not as mobile as her namesake. Zero in on her with Vanguards, who can tank her damage or hit her where she can't hit back with a mobile Duelist.
Star-Lord Dr. Strange, Magneto, Peni Parker Hawkeye, Winter Soldier, Hela, Star-Lord, Spider-Man Jeff, Loki, Luna Snow Storm is a rare example of a support-based Duelist, but she needs to fly pretty close to the battlefield to land hits with her spread-happy lightning. Really, anyone can counter her if she gets in too close, so be ready to punish her as soon as she comes down to earth.
The Punisher Dr. Strange, Magneto, Peni Parker, Venom Punisher, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Iron Fist, Spider-Man, Psylocke Jeff, Loki, Luna Snow The Punisher is a peerless king in long-range combat, so it's challenging to get close enough to deal a killing blow to this hardened veteran. Tanking his damage with Vanguards like Hulk is the best option, but you can also outflank him with fast Duelists like Iron Fist or Spider-Man.
Storm Dr. Strange, Magneto, Peni Parker Hawkeye, Winter Soldier, Hela, Star-Lord, Spider-Man Adam Warlock, Loki, Luna Snow Storm is a rare example of a support-based Duelist, but she needs to fly pretty close to the battlefield to land hits with her spread-happy lightning. Really, anyone can counter her if she gets in too close, so be ready to punish as soon as she comes down to earth.
Winter Soldier Dr. Strange, Magneto, Peni Parker Black Widow, Hawkeye, Punisher, Adam Warlock, Jeff, Luna Snow Winter Soldier is built to kill at close range, and his "GET OVER HERE" Arm Hook makes fighting him at mid-range dangerous. Stick with Vanguards who can survive blasts from his shotgun or long-range Duelists that can pop him at a safe distance.
Wolverine Dr. Strange, Peni Parker Hawkeye, Punisher, Winter Soldier, Black Widow Adam Warlock, Loki, Luna Snow Wolverine is the best at what he does: getting in close and tearing people to shreds with his claws. Even Vanguards can fall if Wolverine's on them, so stay at mind-to-long range and pick him off with someone like Doctor Strange or Black Widow.

All Strategist counters in Marvel Rivals

Strategists are Marvel Rivals' resident healers and supporters, using their skills to keep their teammates alive. Unfortunately, they aren't very durable, so they usually need to hang in the back behind their teammates so they don't get ganged up on by opponents who remember the golden rule: always attack the healer.

Strategist counters are good at taking out their opposition before they can build up the momentum they need to unleash their best abilities.

Hero Vanguard Counters Duelist Counters Strategist Counters Breakdown
Adam Warlock Dr. Strange, Magneto, Captain America Black Panther, Magik, Punisher, Star-Lord, Jeff, Loki Once he gets going, Adam Warlock becomes one of Marvel's Rivals' most effective Strategists. The keywords here are "once he gets going'; hit him fast with heavy-damage dealers like Venom and Iron Fist to shut him down before he renders his team functionally immortal.
Cloak & Dagger Venom, Hulk, Peni Parker, Captain America Spider-Man, Iron Fist, Magik, Punisher Mantis, Luna Snow With their signature swapping ability, Cloak and Dagger can instantly twist the tables on you, so you'll want to hit them fast and hard. Use heavy hitters like Captain America or Iron Fist to get in close and wail on them before they can escape.
Jeff the Land Shark Venom, Hulk, Peni Parker Black Panther, Magik, Punisher, Spider-Man, Iron Man Cloak and Dagger, Loki Jeff the Land Shark is hard to take down, mainly because his teammates will probably do everything they can to protect him. Melee-focused duelists like Wolverine can make quick work of him, and Cloak and Dagger's Dark Teleportation can render his Ultimate useless.
Invisible Woman Dr. Strange, Groot, Magneto Black Panther, Magik, Namor, Spider-Man Cloak and Dagger, Jeff the Land Shark Invisible Woman is fantastic at controlling crowds and ducking away before you can pick her off. Fast, hard-hitting Duelists like Black Panther, Magik, and Spider-Man can take out Invisible Woman before she can get her AOEs going. Strategists like Cloak and Dagger and Jeff the Land Shark can also hinder her by pouring on damage or repositioning their allies. Vanguards are ‌terrible against Invisible Woman, But Magneto and Groot can hamper her healing by blocking her with a Metal Curtain or Ironwood Wall.
Loki Venom, Peni Parker, Hulk, Doctor Strange Black Panther, Magik, Namor, Spider-Man, Iron Fist Mantis, Luna Snow Loki is frustratingly good at keeping you on your toes with his duplicates and ability to turn incoming damage into healing with his Regeneration Domain. Use Strategists like Luna Snow and Mantis to shut him down before he can get his buffs going or heavy hitters like Venom to take him down.
Luna Snow Venom, Hulk, Peni Parker Punisher, Star-Lord, Hela, Magik Jeff Luna's at her best skating around the edge of combat, healing her allies from a distance, and dancing around her opponents. Throw off her groove by getting in her face or snipping her with Peni Parker, Hela, or Magik.
Mantis Venom, Hulk, Peni Parker Black Panther, Magik, Punisher, Spider-Man, Iron Fist Mantis, Luna Snow Mantis' abilities work best at close range, especially her Slumbering Spores, which can turn a rampaging front-line fighter into an easy target. Lock in with a mid-or-long-range Duelist like the Punisher or Spider-Man and take her down outside grabbing range. If Slumbering Spore's on cooldown, Vanguards can zip in and squish her.
Rocket Raccoon Venom, Hulk, Peni Parker Black Panther, Magik, Punisher, Spider-Man, Iron Fist Luna Snow, Mantis Rocket Racoon is a sprightly Strategist, but he's also one of the frailest in the game. Chase him down with damage-dealers like Hulk, the Punisher or Spider-Man and bag this varmint before he can cause too much trouble.
