These aren't the final specs, but we do have a small tweak to the GPU in the minimum requirements and a whole new ultra requirements tier. With technical tests, the listed specs can sometimes be inflated as the game isn't yet completely optimized, and developers can often play it safe by selecting more powerful hardware to account for poor performance. This doesn't mean the best graphics card is required, but the Arc Raiders specs shouldn't be taken as final until specified as such by developer Embark Studios. PCGamesN Thursday, April 17, 2025 7:17 AM  Between Civilization 7, Kaiserpunk, Stellaris, and Commandos Origins itself, I'm still torn between which type of strategy game I like most. 4X is the biggest and bulkiest, but the longer a playthrough goes on, the more you can get lost in the micromanagement. City builders are more focused, and I'm a sucker for good road-building tools, but, by their nature, these games are limited to one type of strategy. So maybe it's the RTS - challenging but accessible, tactical but faster-paced, the return of Commandos also marks a comeback for one of the genre's best. Origins may have struggled a little so far, but if you've stayed away, the big new update could be enough to win you over. In September 2023, they cancelled Creative Assembly's looter shooter Hyenas and announced plans to cut costs across Sega Europe. Last January, they laid off 61 workers at Sega of America in California. Then, they chopped another 240 jobs across Creative Assembly, Hardlight, and other Sega operations in Europe. Grim times, but there have been brighter moments. In November last year, Endless Legend and Humankind developers Amplitude Studios announced that they were splitting from Sega and going independent, care of a management buyout or MBO. Without wishing to sound too fatalistic about Sega, it put me somewhat in mind of the Millennium Falcon flying out of the exploding Death Star. Amplitude's co-founder and CEO Romain de Waubert de Genlis tells me, however, that the Amplitude buyout wasn't an emergency response to Sega's restructuring. He himself started thinking about going indie over two years ago. |

What is it, however, is a great concept with a lot of personality: you're playing actual tabletop miniatures inside a medieval tavern, gradually building up your army across Slay The Spire style branching progression nodes. I'm absolutely rooting for it, simply because there's still so little offering a comparable strategy experience to Total War, and also because it's made by a solo dev. Now that the Mario Kart World Direct aired, we got to see how Nintendo used the presentation to showcase characters, courses and gameplay clips that showed how we can race on tracks or freely explore them. It also confirmed past tracks will be reimagined in the Switch 2 game.
Here's the full list of courses discussed in the Mario Kart World Direct. These are new tracks that will appear around the world. Rainbow Road was also teased, as well reimagined versions of past tracks. However, the video did seem to note you need to master all the Cups to reach Rainbow Road.
A handful of characters were named too, and the character select screen showed a number of major, returning members and smaller supporting ones who previously came up. Here are the ones specifically highlighted during the Direct:
After going over characters and courses, Nintendo used the Mario Kart World Direct to show off new items. Here's a list of what came up:
Things like the Bullet Bill, Lightning, Red Shells, Mushrooms, and the Super Star were all confirmed as items that will return during this showcase.
Here's the full Mario Kart World Direct. It also went over things like Free Roam, Time Trials, VS Race, Battle Mode, Smart Steering, the Rewind function, and Tilt Controls that support the Joy-Con 2 Wheel. Four people can play on one system, up to eight can play together via multiplayer over two systems locally, and up to 24 can take part in Knockout Tour online.
Mario Kart World will come to the Nintendo Switch 2 on June 5, 2025.

There are more game makeup collections than you'd expect. We've seen Kirby lip balms, Kingdom Hearts perfumes, and Persona 5 items. Now Game Beauty launched a Street Fighter 6 collection consisting of eyeshadows, lipsticks, blush, and highlighters. All of the items are undeniably high quality, from what I've seen, and the color range is great and seems like it could suit a number of styles. They also seem like they properly connect to character color schemes. However, an important thing to also keep in mind that some of the items might be brighter or more vibrant than you're used to, making them possibly a bit more difficult to style.
I noticed two overarching principals of this collection. One is that it features a wide array of very bold and vibrant colors. This doesn't mean that there aren't possibilities to go with more subtle looks. With different eyeshadow, blush, lipstick, and hi-lite combinations, it absolutely is and I'll show one of them in a photo below. But the emphasis is on statement pieces.
The other is that everything included in the Game Beauty Street Fighter 6 makeup line is a really high quality product. The lipsticks aren't "sticky," the color for them goes on smoothly and vibrantly with a single swipe, and they last for hours. The blush balms go on just as smoothly and are easy to blend. (I imagine you could even lightly touch one of them to your lips for lighter color than a lipstick.) The same goes for the hi-lite balms. It's easy to apply them, blend them, and have them look natural. As for the eyeshadows, they go on easily, blend well together, consist of colors that match well together if you like to layer them, and also remove without too much trouble. I was especially worried about getting the more glittery Chromatic Contender Chameleon ones off, but nope! No issue.
In fact, I would say the Chromatic Contender Chameleon and Prismatic Pugilist Makeup Palette eyeshadows are my favorite pieces in the collection. The Chromatic Contender Chameleon colors consist of basically holographic, glittery eyeshadow powders based on six characters. Therese involve a blue one for Luke, a peach one for Jamie, a teal one for Guile, a green one for Blanka, a brown one for Dhalsim, and a gold one for Dee Jay. However, actually mentioning the colors may not be the best way to describe them. That's because the nature of them mean that they're far more about imparting this incredible glitter and shine that changes effects and colors depending on how the light hits it. While it does impart color, it's more about the glitter of it all. I like to put that at the very top of my lid, under the eyebrow, to really catch the effect when paired with colors from the Prismatic Pugilist Makeup Palette.
As for that Prismatic Pugilist Makeup Palette, it's the most versatile item in the Game Beauty Street Fighter 6 collection. It features 18 eyeshadows and pressed pigments in an array of reds, oranges, yellows, blues, greens, and silvers. And honestly? I sort of feel like it's designed for layering and going with dual tones. The Plunderer and Viator reds are great, red accents to the pink Ninjastar Pop and Pankration. Zitra Zitra and Kumadori go so well together. I like to blend The Great Sunlight into Mr. Top Player. Not to mention the darker blue Taking Aim and Sharpened Sonic pair so perfectly with both Diosa Del Sol and OverTrip. The fact that we also do have matte colors paired with more metallic and shiny shadows also makes for a great set.
The Hue-ligan Blush and Hi-Lite Hitter highlighters are also so nice. I was a little concerned about the Chun-Li blue highlighter, since the Manon one is such a natural shade of pink. However, once blended it is such a pale blue that it almost ends up offering more of a silver hue as an accent. I shouldn't have worried! Meanwhile, the Manon option is one of those colors that more naturally adapts to a skin tone due to its shade, and it is one of the more subtle and natural pieces that I referenced earlier.
With the Hue-Ligan Blush, we start to get into the one "vibrancy" issue with the Street Fighter 6 Game Beauty line. Some of these pieces can be quite bold! Of the four here, the Ken, JP, Lily, and Cammy ones are all varying shades of red and pink. Ken's is a dark crimson. JP's is a more standard red. Lily's is a reddish pink, that almost seems to have a hint of orange to it. Meanwhile, Cammy's sometimes feels like it is more magenta. With my skin tone, I really only felt like the Lily and JP ones were the only two that worked. With blending, you can make anything possible of course. But these are some of the items in the collection where I feel like a sample would be more helpful.
But the only item in the Street Fighter 6 Game Beauty collection I could see someone maybe having trouble working with are the Vibrant Viator lipsticks. This is because the brightness of the shades mean if you don't usually wear such vivid or strong colors, they might not work out for you. Ryu's is a red so dark it almost seems brown. (I didn't get to sample it, as mine arrived broken.) Juri's is such a vibrant shade of fucshia that it's almost garish. (Which, again suits the character a bit.) Kimberly's pink is slightly less bright, but still feels energetic. Marisa's pink is more on the darker side. The E. Honda and Zangief lipsticks are the two red ones, and they feel more like traditional red lipsticks.
So now, for the two photos. For each one, I pulled my hair back with a headband so my face and the makeup is as visible as possible. In the one on the left, I'm wearing the Lily Hue-Ligan blush, the Manon Hi-Lite Hitter highlighter, the Kimberly lipstick, and only the All Right eyeshadow blended in. As you can see, it ends up being a very natural, almost no-makeup look. For the one on the right, I have the The Plunderer eyeshadow from the palette and the Jamie Chromatic Contender Chameleon eyeshadow layered together. I'm wearing the Zangief lipstick with the JP plush. The Chun-Li highlight is applied slightly to my nose and corners of my eyes, but isn't really visible due to the lighting and blending.
I'm just generally extraordinarily pleased with the Game Beauty Street Fighter 6 collection, even if I feel some items are colors I wouldn't or couldn't use due to personal preferences and colors. The thing about them is that they're all bright, vivid, and true to characters each one represents! They're high quality! There's a sort of explosive nature to some of them that really makes sure they stand out. However, the range does mean that even if that isn't your thing, you might find something you like.
The Game Beauty Street Fighter 6 collection is available now. The game is available on the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, with a Switch 2 version launching on June 5, 2025.

Seasonal ghosts are always uniquely horrifying beings with special details to complement the holiday event. They're only around for the special events, so catching a glimpse of them while you can is a must. Here's how to find the Forest Spirit ghost in Phasmophobia Cursed Hollow Easter event.

How to find the Forest Spirit in Phasmophobia
The Forest Spirit ghost can only be found around the featured daily maps in the event. These are the maps marked with a Forest Minion nest icon on the map board. The maps that are part of the event change on a daily basis, so the exact locations you can visit to find this special ghost rotate.
Four different maps are active for the event each day. The maps that can be part of the event but aren't for the day will have a regular ghost wandering around them instead. All of the maps featured in the Cursed Hollow event are as follows.
You can spot this ghost as a fully visible model during ghost events and hunts. If the Forest Spirit is a ghost with DOTS Projector as evidence, you can also see the general outline of this special spirit in the DOTS.
There's only one model for the Forest Spirit, so as long as you're on one of the active daily maps, you can see them. You may want to try some Cursed Possessions, especially the Summoning Circle, if you're eager to see the ghost but having trouble getting them to appear.
What does the Forest Spirit look like on Phasmophobia?
This special ghost is a modified version of the young female ghost with a spiral of teeth covering her face. For the Cursed Hollow event, she wears a special jackalope-shaped mask with tall pointy antlers, gloves, boots, and a dark dress.
She's the smallest ghost model in Phasmophobia and can oftentimes be tricky to spot because of this. She also sometimes crawls instead of walking or running, and is one of only two ghost models with this special ability.
What does the Forest Spirit do in Phasmophobia?
The Forest Spirit doesn't really do anything special and instead generally acts just as a regular ghost. The only semi-special behavior this ghost has is that it's sometimes altered by bothering Forest Minions.
When you reveal these creatures, the Forest Spirit can be more likely to appear, cause ghost interactions, or initiate ghost events. These behaviors aren't unique to the Cursed Hollow event, though, so the Forest Spirit is only truly unique in appearance.

The Forest Spirit will be in Phasmophobia from April 17 until around May 8. The event is slated to run for "roughly three weeks" according to the official blog, so a precise end date isn't known yet. Finding and interacting with these strange creatures is the most important task in the entire event. They're notoriously tricky to locate, so here's how to find Forest Minions in the Phasmophobia Cursed Hollow Easter event.

Where to find Forest Minions in Phasmophobia Cursed Hollow event
Forest Minions can be found on nine different maps for the duration of the Cursed Hollow event. The maps rotate daily, so the exact locations you can visit to find Forest Minions change each day. All of the maps featured in this event are as follows.
At all of these locations, Forest Minions can be found sitting in small circular nests. The nests are made of sticks and have lots of colorful broken eggs inside them. You can't see Forest Minions right away, so to reveal them, you have to put in a bit of extra work.
How to reveal Forest Minions in Phasmophobia
You can reveal Forest Minions by placing a Tier I, Tier II, or Tier III DOTS Projector near a nest. Not all nests have a hidden Forest Minion sitting in them, but the only way to discover whether one is present is by using a DOTS Projector to uncover it.
If there is a Forest Minion in the nest, you'll see a small creature moving under the DOTS. It will look around for a few seconds, then hop away. They can hop off to the side or jump right at your face, so be ready for a possible jump scare.

How to complete the Cursed Hollow event in Phasmophobia
The Cursed Hollow event features three specific objectives you can complete to contribute points for the community reward pool and your own individual prize collection. The three key goals you need to focus on to help in the event are as follows.
This event is a mix of gameplay and reward systems present in the past seasonal events, so it can be tricky to figure out if you're already familiar with other annual festivities. The easiest way to navigate it is by focusing on the three key targets.
Cursed Hollow event maps in Phasmophobia
The Cursed Hollow event has nine maps you can visit and explore to make progress. These maps rotate daily, so you can only visit a few different ones each time you log on.
You can only tackle Cursed Hollow event tasks while playing on the featured daily maps. All active event maps for the day are marked with a Forest Minion nest icon on the map board.
How to identify ghosts correctly for Cursed Hollow event in Phasmophobia
The first goal in this event is to correctly identify ghosts. This is the staple gameplay feature in Phasmophobia, so you likely already have a solid understanding of how to tackle this endeavor.
The main way you can identify ghosts correctly is by catching all three types of evidence. This can be done by testing for all types of evidence using your trusty ghost-hunting equipment. Use a Thermometer to check for Freezing Temps, use a UV Light to look for fingerprints, handprints, and footprints, and so on, with all other equipment until you've found three kinds of evidence.
Once you have three evidence circled in your journal, the correct ghost is highlighted. All ghosts have a specific combination of three evidence types, so gathering three gets you the correct answer.
If you're having trouble gathering official evidence, there are also lots of unofficial behaviors and evidence features you can watch out for. Examples of this are that Wraiths never walk in Salt, The Mimic always presents fake Ghost Orbs as evidence, and Banshees perform singing events more frequently.
Between official and unofficial evidence, do your absolute best to get the ghost right in every contract. The more you nail, the more you'll help make progress in the event.
How to complete optional objectives for Cursed Hollow event in Phasmophobia
The second key event task is to complete optional objectives. You can tackle three bonus tasks for extra rewards in each contract. They're listed on the corkboard next to the screens in the truck.
Optional objectives are randomized in every contract you tackle. Some are fairly easy, like cleansing the area using Incense, while others are fairly difficult, like capturing a photo of the ghost. Do your best to finish as many of these goals as frequently as you can to contribute more progress to the event.
How to find and reveal any Forest Minions for Cursed Hollow event in Phasmophobia
The third and final event task is to find and reveal any Forest Minions. These small creatures can be found hiding in Forest Minion nests around event maps. You can reveal them by shining or placing a DOTS Projector nearby.

There are many nests on each map, and you need to check all of them with a DOTS Projector to reveal all Forest Minions. Messing with them can cause some adverse effects, like agitating the Forest Spirit ghost.

All Bleasdale Farmhouse Forest Minion nest locations
In total, there are 14 nests you can check for Forest Minions around Bleasdale Farmhouse for the Cursed Hollow event. There are a couple on each floor, but luckily none outside.
Not all of these nests will have Forest Minions in them, but it's best to check all of them to ensure you reveal as many as possible. You'll generally only find around two or three in each contract.
First floor
The first nest is in the living room in front of the fireplace. Head straight from the front door into the next room, then look right to find this nest on the ground.
There's a nest on the ground in front of the large brown cabinet in the tea room. Starting at the front door of Bleasdale Farmhouse, walk inside, turn left, and enter the pink tea room. Look towards the wall on your right, then look down to find the nest by the cabinet against the wall.
The next nest is tucked away in a corner of the storage room. Head through the door at the other end of the tea room to access this area. Once you're in the storage room, follow the shelves until you can't go any further. Look down to find the Forest Minion nest.
A nest is sitting on the ground in front of some sticks in the corner of the only bathroom on the first floor. You can access this room by heading out of the storage room and making an immediate left. Look down to your right to find it.
The next Forest Minion nest is in the hallway connecting the storage room, bathroom, and dining room. Exit the bathroom and look left to find it sitting on the ground underneath a window with emerald green curtains.
The last Forest Minion nest on the first floor can be found sitting on the counter in the kitchen. From the last nest, turn right and head straight to enter the dining room. Walk through the open doorway on your right to find the kitchen. Look to the right corner to find the nest.
Second floor
Head upstairs and into the master bedroom to find the majority of the Forest Minion nests on the second floor. The stairs leading up to this area are in the foyer, so enter from the front door, then turn right to access this area.
Walk down the hall until you reach a door on your right. Head inside and look down immediately after entering to spot a nest on the ground right in front of a small orange ottoman.
The next nest is on the bed in the same bedroom. Turn left from the last spot and head straight until you find the bed, just past the creepy mannequin. Look down at the center of the bed to find a nest in front of three rabbits.
Another nest can be found in the bathroom attached to the master bedroom. Head to the back right corner of the room to find the door that leads into it. Look down at the black and white checkered ground before the sinks to find the nest.
The closet in the master bedroom is the nest spot you need to check. This room is next door to the bathroom, so head out into the bedroom and through the other door to enter it. Look down near the center back region of this room to find the nest.
There are two more nests to find on the second floor, both of which are not in the master bedroom, so head back out into the hallway. Walk to the very end of it and enter the door right in front of you to access the office. The nest can be found on the ground under the desk.
Head back out into the hallway on the second floor and walk to the very end of it to find the door that leads into the main bathroom. Enter the room and look down in front of the bathtub to find the nest.
Attic
The last two nests both spawn in the attic. You can access this area by heading back into the main hallway on the second floor and entering the door between the bathroom and the office.
Walk up the stairs to enter the attic and look left as soon as you enter to spot the first nest. It's sitting on the ground in a small corner area by lots of boxes that are a similar color, so it can be easy to miss.
Head through the main attic area all the way back to the beaded curtain that leads into the secret witchy bedroom. Turn right after entering and walk under the purple curtains to access the small area in the back of the room. Look down in the center of the room to check for the nest.

When looking for Harralander, you should look for a plant with a distinct blue tint. It can be hard to find it in the foggy swamp, so equip a torch or use the Fire Spirit spell to light up the area to have a better chance of seeing one from afar. They can appear almost anywhere in the swamp biome, though I seem to have a better chance at finding them closer to the walls or sides instead of the center islands in all of the water.
They are all very spread out from each other, but try to find a place where there are a bunch in a line, or make your own resource grinding. You can also factor in collecting Clay and other items only found in the swamp, which all go towards potion creating.

Ashenfall in RuneScape Dragonwilds is a land of magic, and Wild Anima is evidence of that as you explore different corners of the land.
The sources for Anima can be found in the Fractured Plains region, so you'll have to make a fair bit of in-game progress on your playthrough. This magical item is required for different purposes, so collecting as much as possible is essential. The need for it increases as you complete more quests and unlock more recipes. This guide will provide you with all the essential information surrounding the collection of Anima in RuneScape Dragonwilds.
How to obtain Wild Anima in RuneScape Dragonwilds
To obtain Wild Anima, you must extract it from items that store this magical energy. So far, I have found that the best option is to go for Anima-Infused Bark. To get one Wild Anima, you'll need four Anima-Infused Bark. You can find this under large trees with multiple colored leaves in Fractured Plains.
Once you get the magical bark, put it in a Kiln. This workstation is vital for many reasons, as it provides you with items like Charcoal (an important ingredient on its own). You'll need at least four barks to start the process. Once ready, the Wild Anima will be added to your inventory.
Chances are that you'll already have a Kiln set up by the time you get access to Fractured Plains and Anima. If not, here's the recipe along with all the required ingredients.
All the required items are found quite easily in the starter area. To find Clay, head to the Whispering Swamp (located on the border of Fractured Plains).
How to get Anima-Infused Bark in RuneScape Dragonwilds
Typically, you'll need an axe to chop down trees to get resources. Anima-infused trees are too big to be cut down with an axe. It doesn't matter even if you get the Bronze Axe. Instead, you'll have to find the trees (location marked) and look down on the ground near them.
The branches are found on the ground and can sometimes remain camouflaged. Make sure to roam around and pick as many branches as available. Head to the Kiln next to burn down the branches and get Wild Anima. The best hint for these trees is their thick barks and the inability to do damage with your axe.
How to use Wild Anima in RuneScape Dragonwilds
Wild Anima is required for several magical resources and items that use magic. This includes weapons as well, and the requirement amount will vary. You'll get more recipes as you upgrade your workstations and level up your skills.
While it's a vital part of magic, they're not required for spells. While all spells are magical, they use something called Runes instead. However, you should still look to gather as many Anima-Infused barks as possible (to get more Wild Anima via the Kiln).

Anima-Infused Bark location in RuneScape Dragonwilds
To get Anima-Infused Bark, you have to discover and head to the Fractured Plains area of Ashenfall. Fractured Plains is the area that has a distinct pink and yellowish color that is rich in Anima, and is the biggest area to explore on the map.
While the entirety of the Fractured Plains is filled with Anima-Infused Bark, the majority of it is found towards the central and eastern parts of the area. You can find some towards the southeastern borders of the Stormtouched Highlands as well.
How to get Anima-Infused Bark
To get Anima-Infused Bark, look for the big and wide trees with rich blue and purple leaves with a stone slab at the base (those are the cues for obtaining this material). Then simply roam around the base of these trees, and you'll find a bunch of these items lying around.
All you need to do is press "E" to collect, and they will get added to your inventory. Make sure to spend some time and collect as many as you can to put them to the best of their abilities.
You don't need any additional tools here, as you won't be needing to chop trees down to collect this item.
Does Anima-Infused Bark respawn?
Yes, Anima-Infused Bark respawns in the same places automatically after some in-game days. So, if you come across a good spot from the image above, you may build a Lodestone near it to enable fast traveling to and from your camp.

Clay is an important resource in RuneScape Dragonwilds, and you'll need a fair amount of it to enhance your in-game progression.
This particular item is required in several recipes, and some of them are quest items as well. While Clay is relatively easy to find, the game doesn't exactly tell you where to look. Eventually, you'll come across a quest to find Clay, but you can choose not to wait that long.
Best areas to farm Clay in RuneScape Dragonwilds
Clay is found in the opening area of the map near Whispering Swamp. The entire swamp area has lodes of nodes to mine, but head to the eastern edge. The spot is highlighted in the screenshot below to help you get as much Clay as required.
I would avoid going for this resource if you have just started playing the game. None of the beginner items require Clay to make them, and you'll have to proceed through Bramblemead Valley. The threat level of enemies at this location is higher, and you could be mauled to death at the hands of a Goblin. Only start looking for Clay once you can combat enemy threat level two or higher.
If you choose the objective method, you must complete your siege of the Goblin Castle. Once done, you'll have to find a blue-flame door in the Whispering Swamp. This will take you to the swamps, and you can find plenty of Clay from there. This is the best spot to mine Clay when you need it.
The Stone Pickaxe is good enough to mine the nodes, so keep hitting them till they crumble into dust.
How to use Clay in RuneScape Dragonwilds
Clay is used to create several workstations as you level up. For starters, you'll need it for both the Kiln and Brewing Station, which are essential for entering the midgame phase. You'll also need Clay to produce different tools in the kiln required to produce potions.
As you level up, the use of Clay will also rise. You'll need it to produce the Smithing Forge, among other recipes, which is essential to get better tools like the Bronze Axe. In a nutshell, the requirements for Clay go up gradually as you unlock more tools and stations to craft. Whenever you see a node or visit the Whispering Swamp, make sure to farm it as much as possible.
