Here's why Overwatch 2 Stadium won't launch with heroes like Tracer and Hanzo

Overwatch 2 is just a few days away from launching its radical new Stadium mode. Aiming to be a new core pillar for the hero shooter alongside its Competitive and Quick Play modes, its gameplay innovations and ability reworks look awesome, but it comes at the price of having a limited hero pool. Now, Blizzard has lifted the lid on how it decided on Stadium's lineup of launch heroes, and why certain characters like Tracer, Widowmaker, and Hanzo have been left on the sidelines - for now, at least.

g-mode armored core shin megami tensei

G-Mode will add Armored Core Mobile Mission, Armored Core Mobile 2, Shin Megami Tensei: Tokyo Requiem, and Shin Megami Tensei: 20XX to Nintendo Switch and Steam. Armored Core Mobile Mission and Shin Megami Tensei: 20XX will come out first.

You can already wishlist Armored Core Mobile Mission via Steam, while the others aren't on the platform yet. Mobile Mission is already out on Nintendo Switch (in Japan), whereas the Steam version will come out on April 30, 2025. As for Shin Megami Tensei: 20XX, it'll come out on the Nintendo Switch on April 24, 2025. Then, the Steam version will appear on May 8, 2025. The release windows for the G-Mode archived versions of Armored Core Mobile 2 and Shin Megami Tensei: Tokyo Requiem will appear at a later date.

Armored Core Mobile Mission came out as a Japan exclusive in May 2004. It was the first video game in the franchise to come out on flip phone devices. Like Mobile Mission, Shin Megami Tensei 20XX also came out for Japanese cellphones in 2004, and it is a prequel to Shin Megami Tensei II. Tokyo Requiem was also a Japanese-exclusive mobile game that Atlus released in an episodic fashion, which was rare at the time.

Armored Core Mobile Mission is available on the Nintendo Switch and will come out on the Windows PC via Steam on April 30, 2025. Shin Megami Tensei 20XX will come out for the Switch on April 24, 2025. The PC version will come out on May 8, 2025. Other Japan-exclusive cellphone titles G-Mode released in the past include Persona 3 Aigis: The First Mission.

Fortnite and Fitness Boxing Switch 2 Compatibility Updated

Nintendo Japan updated the list of backwards compatible games that have some sort of compatibility issues with the upcoming Switch 2 system. The new update includes Fortnite and Fitness Boxing as the two only Switch titles listed as having some sort of major issue that are planned to be addressed when the Switch 2 launches. [Thanks, Inside Games!]

Epic Games previously announced that a Switch 2 version for Fortnite is currently in the making. However, for Fitness Boxing the issues encountered in the game will be solved via a title update. There is no information yet on if this update will be available on launch day for the new system or when exactly it will be available. It is also unknown if that will be a free patch or paid upgrade.

Furthermore, during the evaluation process, Nintendo encountered 139 games presenting undisclosed issues on the new Switch 2 console. Some of these include Doom Eternal, Pizza Tower, Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes, Undernauts: Labyrinth of Yomi, and Final Fantasy, to name a few. For the final title, the list didn't specify which game, but given the naming convention it could be the Pixel Remaster version of the first title.

Meanwhile, 50 games were confirmed to have some issues, but can otherwise be played and progress can be made.  A few games appearing in this list are Harvestella, Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection, Alan Wake Remastered, Overcooked, and Alien: Isolation.

Meanwhile, the Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 04: VR Kit game is listed as having no possible compatibility with the Nintendo Switch 2. This is due to the size of the cardboard kit not being prepared with the size of the new hardware in mind.

The Nintendo Switch 2 is set to launch worldwide on June 5, 2025. The pre-order period has been delayed for North America due to issues with tariffs.

Runescape Dragonwilds woodcutting

The axe is one of the most useful tools to yield in RuneScape Dragonwilds, and you can upgrade from the basic version pretty easily.

Obtaining the first axe is quite simple if you follow the basic quests. There isn't much to be done to obtain it, and it's provided to you early. You can use it to chop down trees, complete the starter quests, and increase your skill levels to unlock new spells. Logs are essential part of completing the first set of quests, especially since you'll need to build you shelter.

What you should truly aim for is to get the Bronze Axe, which is significantly more powerful and a lot more effective at chopping down trees. This guide will provide you with all the necessary information.

How to get the Bronze Axe in RuneScape Dragonwilds

Here's a rundown of all the steps involved in obtaining the Bronze Axe.

  • Collect a lot of Copper and Tin
  • Produce Metal Ingots
  • Use the Smithing Forge

Collecting Copper and Tin

These resources are going to take time if you have just begun playing the game. We already have a detailed guide for both metals, but here's a summary to help you get them. Both resources will require you to travel to Fractured Plains. At this stage, you'll also need a Bone Pickaxe to mine the resources. The Bone Pickaxe can be crafted using animal bones, ash logs, and leather.

Fractured Plains is located to the north of Whispering Swamp. Don't try to rush to this area, as the enemies you face here will be harder to navigate around (compared to the threat at the start of the game).

To find Copper, look for rocks with gray and orange exteriors. To find Tin, you'll want to mine rocks that have yellow-green splotches on the surface. Both rocks are noticeably bigger than the typical boulders lying on the ground, which is an easy way to spot them.

You'll also need to create Bronze Bars in order to make the Bronze Axe. You will have to use both metals first to make Bronze. Then, put the metal inside the furnace and smelt it to produce the ingots. This will provide you with the required materials needed to make the axe.

The final piece of the puzzle is to make the Smithing Forge and then use the Smithing Anvil to choose the correct item. The Smithing Forge requires the following ingredients:

  • 24 Stone
  • 8 Clay
  • 4 Stone
  • 10 Fire Rune
  • 8 Vault Shard

The Bronze Axe is available under the Tools section of the Smithing Anvil, and it's a massive upgrade over the basic version. It does 20 Damage and 32.5 Block, all thanks to the blade that's made from Bronze. This axe might do the same task, but it does them faster. You'll be able to get much more logs as chopping down trees becomes easier.

There are certain trees that provide more wood, but you can't chop it down with the starter axe. The Bronze Axe will have no problem in swiping those big logs down at ease. While you can take your time trying to craft this magnificent tool, make sure to pick up sufficient Tin and Copper when you are at the correct locations.

Flax in RuneScape Dragonwilds

Flax is one of the many resources you can find in RuneScape Dragonwilds, and it's importance increases as you start clearing the first set of quests.

Most of the items required for early and mid game are introduced as part of the quests. Flax, on the other hand, is a naturally growing substance that you can find in the opening regions of the map. But certain areas have more concentration of this substance, which will make it easier for you find the flower in the first place.

Best areas to farm Flax in RuneScape Dragonwilds

While the blue-colored flowed grows all over Bramblemead Valley, you can get more of it at the location pointed in the map below (at the player icon on the map). This area is filled with goblins, so you should be careful when trying to travel. Make sure your health is high, and you have equipped the correct weapon in case they attack.

The location is also littered with broken houses, with some of them being used by goblins. It's fairly common to find Flax in and around these areas. They sometimes grow inside the broken buildings, so check properly. It's easy to spot these flowers as their blue color sticks out in the green background. To collect Flax, go close to the plant and interact with it.

Another area to watch out for is the lands near water bodies. These areas will often have a lot of shrubs, and that includes Potato and Flax. You can collect Potato to cook them into delicious food at campfires.

How to use Flax in RuneScape Dragonwilds

Flax is required for crafting Linen and Bowstrings. The process begins with the creation of Coarse Thread that comes directly from Flax. You'll also need the Spinning Wheel to produce the item. Here are the requirements for creating the Spinning Wheel.

  • 12 Ash Logs
  • 4 Flax
  • 2 Stone

In case you have noticed, Flax is also required for producing the Spinning Wheel. Hence, you should look to get as much Flax as possible while exploring the lands. In the Spinning Wheel, you can use Flax to produce Coarse Thread. The conversion rate is 1:1 in case you're wondering about how much Flax will be required. The Spinning Wheel also has to be placed in a roofed area for it to work.

Getting Coarse Thread for the first time will allow you to make the Apprentice's Hat, which act as decent armor for beginners. As you level up your skills, you'll get access to more recipes. You can also improve your leggings for more protection, which will be crucial for survival in Bramblemead Valley.

Using a spell to cut a tree

Blightwood is a lot more difficult to obtain than standard Ash Logs, as it's hidden deep within a poisonous lair filled with threats. Even worse, it only spawns in one specific spot. If you're ready to brave the poison, here's how to find Blightwood in RuneScape: Dragonwilds.

Where to find Blightwood trees in RuneScape: Dragonwilds

You can obtain Blightwood near the gates of Bloodblight Swamp, which is on the right side of Bramblemead Valley. I spent a good amount of time figuring out the best way to reach this area, and the most helpful tip I discovered is to place a Lodestone right near the entrance to the swamp. It'll keep you inside the Fractured Plains, which won't be as harmful as the Bloodblight Swamp. The Blightwood Roots will spawn by this entryway (marked with the circle):

Getting there still isn't easy, as both areas are set to Level 3 difficulties. However, once you've set that fast travel point, it's completely worth it. If you die, you can simply respawn at the Lodestone and easily recover your gear from the tomb without having to make the trek all over again.

After you've set the fast travel point, your next goal should be to craft a more powerful axe, aka the Bronze Axe. A standard Stone Axe just won't cut it, so you'll need to farm some Bronze Bars, Ash Logs, and Coarse Thread to craft this recipe.

Now comes the next challenging part: surviving the Bloodblight Swamps' poisonous air. You have two main options: either place a Lodestone close to the Blightwood Roots or use an Anti-Poison Potion. Placing the Lodestone is a bit riskier, but it saves time since brewing the potion requires extra builds and materials. With the Lodestone method, you can quickly gather the wood and teleport out before your health drains completely.

If that technique feels too dangerous, you can brew the Anti-Poison Potion using Bittercap Mushrooms, Clay Vessels, and Harralanders. This potion lets you roam the Bloodblight Swamp safely for 300 seconds without taking damage. Just consume it before entering the swamp, then head straight to the tree spawn point.

Whichever method you choose, you must always watch out for enemies. A few goblins will set up shop right near the swamp's entrance, so you may need to eliminate them before heading inside the poisonous domain. Additionally, several rats roam around the Blightwood Roots, increasing the challenge even more. It felt a bit cowardly, but I just ran from the enemies and waited near the trees until the coast was clear.

How to use Blightwood in RuneScape: Dragonwilds

So far, the only real use I've found for RuneScape: Dragonwilds' Blightwood is unlocking the Iron Pickaxe recipe. Unfortunately, getting the ore for it is another ordeal entirely. You'll need to venture into the Stormtouched Highlands, a high-difficulty area located to the left of the Fractured Plains.

Since the Stormtouched Highlands is relatively challenging, I suggest grinding for a while until you've upgraded your weapons with bronze and enhanced your gear with higher defense. You may also want to place a Lodestone there, just in case things go south. Besides the iron for the pickaxe, the Blightwood may include other recipes that I have yet to discover. I'll update this guide once I dive more into RuneScape: Dragonwilds.
