Players defeating an enemy in Path of Exile 2

The Fate of the Vaal League, introduced as part of the Last of the Druids update in Path of Exile 2, allows you to make your own dungeons, which completely changes how you played the game until now.

Having your own dungeons will be immensely helpful since you can be in charge of what the loot will look like. You can also upgrade the dungeons as you see fit, but first, you'll have to construct the place. The complete process is pretty easy once you understand the finer nuances.

How to make your own dungeons in Path of Exile 2

The process begins with finding Vaal Beacons that are placed randomly across different levels of the map in Path of Exile 2. They're easy to locate: large disks placed on the ground surrounded by different bosses. To activate the beacon, defeat all the nearby enemies, which will also fetch you a reward.

Repeat the process a total of six times to open a portal. This portal will allow you to visit The Vaal Ruins, aka The Temple, where the rest of the things happen.

Making the Temple

Once you are inside a new version of the Temple by traveling using the Portal, you'll find a Waypoint and a console. Use the console to open the dungeon map. You'll find six random titles on the map. All six of these titles will expand when you place the Temple, and they will all have their unique challenges.

Select a tile, and you'll get its details. The nature and rewards you get from a specific room will vary. Some of them will allow you to farm crafting materials and similar things, while others will likely have a workbench for you to upgrade your gear.

A few titles can also level up other titles that are adjacent to them. When a tile levels up, you'll face a harder challenge for greater rewards. The ultimate aim is to reach the final room by constantly expanding the Temple. To do so, you'll have to find and activate more Vaal Beacons.

Path of Exile 2 late game Vaal Ruins challenge

Once you defeat Doryani in Act 3, he will allow you to return to an older version of the Temple (as mentioned above). Your objective is to use the portal to stop Atziri, the Queen of Vaal. At this stage, your Temple is likely to have expanded multiple times, and there will be more types of rooms compared to the six tiles that you had in the beginning.

The more rooms you have, the better it gets. As I said, every room has its own unique use, and you'll have to use them all to take down Atziri. While all these things sound simple, it will take time to reach the late game stage, and you'll discover plenty of intricate details along the way.

Holy Anvil in Diablo 4

Diablo 4 Season 11 has introduced plenty of new mechanics to gameplay, and Divine Gifts play a significant role in the new season.

Season 11 is all about the Lesser Evils and the four demons featured in this category: Duriel, Belial, Azmodan, and Andariel. The Divine Gifts are tied directly to you defeating these monstrosities. This guide will provide you with all the information required for you to find and use them.

How to get Divine Gifts in Diablo 4 Season 11

Divine Gifts are provided by Hadriel, who has made a comeback. To help you fight the Lesser Evils, Hadriel will provide you with different boons, aka Divine Gifts. All Divine Gifts that you can obtain will be tied with one of the four Lesser Evils mentioned above. You'll gain Corrupted Essence when you defeat them. Return the essence to Hadriel to unlock two Divine Gifts, as applicable for the Lesser Evil that you defeated.

Every Divine Gift has three components: Corrupted, Purified, and a reward.

  • Corrupted Gifts: When you slot a Divine Gift into the Corrupted Slot, it will increase the challenge of related activities. However, you'll also be getting additional loot for the extra challenge.
  • Purified Gifts: When you slot a Divine Gift in the inner slot, it will remove the negative challenge and provide you with a boon while doubling the applicable rewards.

When you defeat a Lesser Evil, it will automatically unlock the Corrupted Slot. To unlock Purified Slots, you'll have to progress along the Divine Favor reputation board. To make progress, you'll have to advance across the different Ranks in Diablo 4 Season 11.

Best ways to use Divine Gifts in Diablo 4 Season 11

Here's a quick rundown on how to best use every Divine Gift that you can obtain in Season 11.

Divine Gift Lesser Evil Best Use
Essence of Pain Duriel (Helltides) The Purified Slot will raise your max barrier briefly when you drop to below 35% life (every 20 seconds). Use this to get higher-quality runes and gems since you'll have to face harder challenges.
Essence of Squalor Duriel (Helltides) The Corrupted Gift will make spawned Maggots to consume your health potions, but the Purified part will refill them every 20 seconds. Use it to survive longer on your runs.
Essence of Lies Belial (The Pit) Since the Purified Gift allows you to fortify 1% of max life per second, use that on runs where you need to survive for a longer time.
Essence of Shadows Belial (The Pit) The Purified Gift will make you unstoppable every 12 seconds, allowing you to farm Gold and take down congested enemies filled with enemy mobs.
Essence of Sin Azmodan (World Bosses) Since you gain 20% increased armor from the Purified part, you can use it against World Boss events.
Essence of Hellfire Azomodan (World Bosses) The Purified part provides you with 10% chance for direct damage to stunned enemies. It's the ideal gift to use on boss runs.
Essence of Anguish Andariel (Kurast Undercity) The Purified Gift raises your movement speed by 30%, and it's best suited for farming runs where you need to move quickly.
Essence of Screams Andariel (Kurast Undercity) As it raises your resistance by 20%, you can use it to reduce the risk while farming for Masterwork materials.
