Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Wednesday, October 1, 2025 6:44 PM ![]() Am I good at chess? I'll take no for $1500, Alex. But do I love a funky twist on games that are older than time itself? You bet your bottom dollar I do! Enter Below the Crown, a chess video game that is also a roguelike, ,and is also a turn-based strategy game, and is also a dungeon crawler on top of that. It's a lot! It also works very well, and in a demo that just came out today (alongside an early access release date), there's a suggestion of something a touch more… unsettling… going on under the hood. |
Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Wednesday, October 1, 2025 5:31 PM ![]() Ananta, whether it ends up being a good game or not, is clearly a confident one. You have to be brave to so blatantly, we'll say, borrow from so many different games. Like many anime-esque games of its ilk, it will live and die by its characters (which, by the way, you won't have to gacha roll for), of which it seems to have in spades judging from that first gameplay trailer. These characters will all play differently too, and according to Ananta's producer Ash Qi, the dev team wants you to think of them like Avengers members. Comparing your new thing to an older, widely loved thing is always a safe move! |
Rock Paper Shotgun Latest Articles Feed Wednesday, October 1, 2025 4:03 PM ![]() There just doesn't seem to be a good time to release a game right now, does there? We all saw the way that Hollow Knight: Silksong scared away plenty of games, even games with completely different genres. And sometimes it's just a case of a particular month being stacked - just this month alone there's Ghost of Yotei, Battlefield 6, Pokemon Legends Z-A, Ninja Gaiden 4, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2, Dispatch, Arc Raiders, the list truly goes on. So, I really can't blame developer Digital Sun, who've announced that Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault has been delayed. |

After over 10 years, the Persona 3 Aigis Nendoroid will return. Good Smile Company showed off the figure briefly during its Nendoroid FUNS Autumn 2025 showcase. This will be a 2.0 release, so it won't be identical to the one released in April 2014.
The initial teaser image only hinted at what her new design looks like. Proportions for her face plates and body look different, and it also seems as though her hairstyle's bangs plate is different as well. We don't see if she will include the same weapon effect parts or the Charred Screw that came with the original. The default smile facial expression looks different.
Here's the teaser image for the 2.0 version alongside two photos of the 2014 one. The older figure of Aigis is in the top row.

This 2.0 version of Aigis will be the fourth Persona 3 Nendoroid once it releases. She appeared first in 2014. In 2022, there was a standard version of the protagonist Makoto. In 2025, a Persona 3 Reload version of him will appear.
Here is the full Nendoroid FUNS Autumn 2025 showcase:
The 2.0 Persona 3 Aigis Nendoroid is in development. Persona 3 is on the PS2, Persona 3 Portable is on the Switch, PS4, PSP, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC, and Persona 3 Reload is on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC now and Switch 2 on October 23, 2025.

The Spaceman is a Megabonk character meant for the hardcore players, and building him up can be a true challenge.
While 18 out of 20 characters in the game have specific unlock conditions, Spaceman has one of the hardest ones. His default kit is decent, but he offers something unique if you master him. Let's look at unlocking him before discussing a perfect build for the Spaceman.
Table of contents
How to get Spaceman in Megabonk
There are two requirements for adding Spaceman to your roster. The first task is to unlock the Black Hole weapon, his signature tool. You'll need to take the Knockback tome to level 10 to unlock the weapon. Try to add the tome on your run, and then take it past level 10 with upgrades.
You'll also have to complete six challenges to unlock Spaceman. These can be any six challenges of your liking. If you want to get this done quickly, go for tier one challenges, which are simple in nature.
You can purchase Spaceman for 21 Silver once you have completed both tasks.
Best Megabonk Spaceman build
Let's look at the key components of getting a good Spaceman build.
The Black Hole weapon might be fun, but hard to master. Its aiming system is pretty difficult to understand, and it sucks enemies inside it. This is highly useful against swarms, but struggles against solo enemies. The passive, Quantum XP Theory, results in Spaceman gaining 1.5% XP gain per level.
Spaceman has a strong leveling system, so you can opt out of weapons like Aura. Instead, go with a full projectile-based lineup in Bone and Bananarang. For tomes, having Projectile Speed and Size are a must. These tomes will directly benefit Black Hole and increase its damage.

Spaceman can float using moon gravity if you're playing in the Forest. However, his base movement is quite slow, and he can get caught by enemies. Adding Agility should be considered a priority before you start the late-game phase.
I didn't find too many items that felt like must-haves with Spaceman. Gym Sauce is a stable choice with +10% damage, while Overpowered Lamp provides extra proc. chance with every hit. Adding Moldy Cheese won't be a bad idea if you opt for a projectile-based build.
The Spaceman is different from other characters, and so is the Black Hole weapon. Like all characters, he can do well once you build him properly. The lack of pace, though, especially at the start, can sometimes feel stiff. You should be able to bypass most of his weaknesses with my build and do well at higher-tier maps.
Plenty of other Megabonk characters have terrific builds to dominate the current meta and leaderboards.

The Cornerstones promo is the first set of special cards to be released in FC 26 Ultimate Team, and a second team is expected to be released soon.
The first team has introduced plenty of special cards. Most are in packs, but you can get a few from completing SBCs and objectives. So far, EA Sports has remained tight-lipped about which footballers will be featured on the second team. However, the first set of leaks about the upcoming promo team has arrived on social media.
Table of contents
All FC 26 Cornerstones Team 2 players (predictions)
As of writing on Oct. 1, there are a few leaks for Team 2 on social media, which already include some massive names.
These are merely leaks, and EA Sports has yet to confirm their presence in packs. As we approach the final release date, more leaks are expected.
FC 26 Cornerstones Team 2 release date
There's no speculation over when Team 2 cards will be available. The new cards will be added to Ultimate Team on Friday, Oct. 3, the same day Team 1 cards will be removed from the packs.
Once added, you'll have to get lucky with the packs. These include store packs and other options already available in your Ultimate Team. More promo cards will be added via SBCs and objectives, so be on the lookout for them. Unlike pack items, you won't have to depend on luck regarding SBCs and objectives.

Multiplayer gaming and hackers go hand-in-hand, unfortunately, and so many game publishers are trying to go above and beyond to prevent cheaters from ruining their titles.
In Call of Duty in 2025, this means additions to its RICOCHET Anti-Cheat system for Black Ops 7 that previously were not around in earlier titles of the franchise. This means needing to enable PC-specific security features like TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot.
These features are daunting for some PC users, so we've got the info you need on how to enable that your PC is ready to go for BO7 and future competitive games with anti-cheat measures.

What is Black Ops 7 TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot?
![]()
TPM (Trusted Platform Module) 2.0 and Secure Boot are security measures put in place for some PC games to combat hackers and cheaters. Starting with Black Ops 7, this is a requirement to play on PC. If you don't enable TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot on PC, you won't be able to play BO7.
"TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot help protect your system against cheats and unauthorized access by verifying your PC's integrity from startup to gameplay," Activision says on its support site. "Together, they provide a stronger foundation for in-game security and work alongside RICOCHET Anti-Cheat to keep matches fair and fun."
Before doing anything else for BO7, make sure your PC's BIOS is updated to the latest version.
