Update 8th January 2026: Posting on Bluesky, Jason Schreier has called this article "a complete misunderstanding of what I said, which is that I wouldn't be shocked if GTA6 does come out this fall, following the same delay pattern as RDR2". I think this is a fair criticism of the introductory paragraph below and the fifth paragraph, in which I misread the line about not being "super shocked" as referring to the possibility of another delay. Apologies, Jason!

Original story follows:

GTA 6 may not yet be "content complete", according to anonymous sources cited by Bloomberg's scooper-dooper journoman Jason Schreier, and he would not be "super shocked" if the new Miami-set open world game were delayed again, though he thinks the current 19th November 2026 release date is relatively solid.

Review: Trails Beyond the Horizon Is a Big Build-Up

The Legend of Heroes: Trails Beyond the Horizon feels like a culmination. It's the result of gameplay evolutions and stories since Trails in the Sky coming together. It's also the first in yet another branch, with a cliffhanger teasing at least one more installment before any resolution. While I did enjoy the latest take on the combat system, I feel this is the most unfriendly entry for newcomers and am a bit concerned about how the second part could be handled. Trails Beyond the Horizon is satisfying in some ways, but sometimes feels weak due to certain design choices.

Trails Beyond the Horizon is a compilation game of sorts, pulling from all of the recent The Legend of Heroes installments since Trails in the Sky to build up its narrative and backstory. Basically, it means implications for Zemuria as a whole, with the Calvard Republic and Edith at its center for some critical parts of the story. President Roy Gramheart is preparing a satellite project for the entire planet, followed by a manned mission. Meanwhile, three notable heroes from throughout the series and their parties are all taking part in a training exercise at the Marduk Total Security Company, with shard technology recreating monsters and trials. So we have Van and his group, which consists of Arkride Solutions Office associates like Agnes, Feri, Bergard, Rissette, and Elaine as one route, folks such as Rean, Crow, Altina, Renne head off on their own training route tied to the new Assault Frame Excalibur XD, and Kevin, Rufus, Nadia, and Swin head out on his Septian Church business. As all three groups head their separate ways, they each learn more about what's happening in Calvard and to Zemuria as a whole, with the results shaping the world as a whole and providing insight into Professor Claude Epstein's prediction that an end is approaching in 120X. (As usual.)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQELYrJXO-A

First of all, Trails Beyond the Horizon is not a game for folks who haven't been keeping up with with The Legend of Heroes series. I'd say at bare minimum, someone hopefully played all three Trails in the Sky, all four Trails of Cold Steel, and the previous two Calvard games Trails Through Daybreak entries. Given the prominence of Rufus as a character, including Trails into Reverie in that could also be very helpful. You will be left out sometimes if you don't have that previous context, even though there are attempts to reintroduce characters and recurring gameplay elements Van's investigations. In addition, your affinity for certain characters will absolutely determine how much you enjoy all of this. I love Kevin Graham and was actually a bit sad that we don't see as much of him and his group as we do Van's and Rean's. Likewise, if you don't care for the Arkride Solutions Office crew, their portion does feel like the main "focus," even though there are other major developments in Kevin and Rean's stories. I thought some revelations were interesting, but none of it excited me and so much happening at once in three routes overwhelmed me. Perhaps it's due to arc fatigue from Calvard, which didn't captivate me in the same way as others, or the fact that Trails in the Sky First Chapter reminded me how much more I enjoyed the earlier arcs' characters and storytelling.

Still, for those who do love the series, Trails Beyond the Horizon gives you more of that with its routes and sidequests. It's great seeing different personalities interacting, especially in situations when we don't often get to see folks around each other as often. Rean's route is a fantastic example of this. Again, I'm a huge fan of Kevin and the way he interacts with Rufus and others makes his moments a highlight. In the case of the Arkride Solutions Office crew, I think the big benefit is seeing the increased development after the two Daybreak games, especially with people like Agnes and Rissette. And the investigation element in which we bring up topics remains fun.

Forgoing spoilers, of course, I'm also concerned about where Trails Beyond the Horizon's next part will go and what Falcom intends to do. The cliffhanger here is a substantial one. I don't see how this isn't resolved without a lot of asset reuse and perhaps even retreading of past narrative choices. I'm also a bit concerned about what it means for one major character in particular and if what comes next could "soften" some plot points and development.

While I'm not entirely sold on Trails Beyond the Horizon's plot, I loved the combat system. For those who played First Chapter, we again get the opportunity to kick things off with a more active Field Battle system, then continue the assault in a more strategic turn-based Command Battle fight that takes into account more defined positioning, area of effect spheres, and range of nearby allies for follow-up attacks. Arts and Crafts are available as attacks. I do feel like the Field Battles are a bit simplistic, even with the Charge Attacks and Quick Arts possible and ZOC allowing you to slow and stun them. It feels like there's more to Command Battles and they become more technically interesting due to things like the BLTZ Chain and Support opportunities to continue and enhance attacks after a SCLM Chain assault. But I will say even there that the Crafts and Dual Arts sometimes feel like the way to go for quickly breezing through a fight, even if a character with a Boost Gauge ends up Awakened and stronger than usual.

This means that, at times, I could feel like the Grim Garten was more of a highlight in Trails Beyond the Horizon. We have greater control over who can be in our party, without the campaign's limitations. (Though there is unlocking.) While combat and objective-focused when in an area, there's still the strategic element that comes from choosing where to move in each area, completing objectives, and facing guardians. The story elements here involve Ouroboros and other notable characters both via standard progress and bringing any Memento Orbs we find to the Reminiscence Pedestal.

Another plus is that Trails Beyond the Horizon runs quite well on the Switch 2! Battles are fluid both Command and Field Battles. Character models look great. Environmental textures are perfect too. I didn't encounter any bugs while playing either. It is an excellent version of the game.

Enjoyment of later The Legend of Heroes entries is often dependent on familiarity with the series, and that's especially true with Trails Beyond the Horizon. If you didn't put in the time to play, perhaps at the very least, all four Cold Steel titles and the two Daybreak ones, I am confident you would have a bad time. Even if you did, a lot of joy in this can come down to how well you connected with characters in Van, Rean, and Kevin's routes. The combat system remains solid, fortunately, and Grim Garten can be a lot of fun if you do enjoy fighting through challenges with familiar faces.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails Beyond the Horizon will come to the Switch, Switch 2, PS4, PS5, and PC on January 15, 2026, and demos are available.

snow gundam sculpture

For the third year in a row, a snow sculpture of a Gundam will appear at the Sapporo Snow Festival. There will also be a special Gundam booth at Tsudome, with activities like a photo spot and the Gundam Recycling Project. [Thanks, PR Times!]

This year, you'll be able to see a snow sculpture of the RX-105 Ξ (Xi) Gundam. This machine debuted in Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway, a 2021 theatrical adaptation of the Hathaway's Flash novel series. The Ξ Gundam sculpture is to market the Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe film, which will be a sequel to the first Hathaway movie. It'll come out on January 30, 2026. A key visual of Hathaway, Kenneth, and Gigi in winter clothing and standing in front of the Ξ Gundam snow figure will be at the Tsudome Gundam booth.

You'll also be able to purchase snacks and merchandise at the sales booth. Items include white chocolate, mint candies, and yoitomake cake rolls. All of these items feature Gundam characters and mobile suits on the packaging.

Finally, you'll be able to experience the Gundam Recycling Project, which shows you how Bandai is making Gunpla more environmentally friendly. After putting together your Ecopla model (which uses recycled materials), you'll put the runners into a recycling box. You'll also receive a pamphlet explaining Ecopla and the Gundam Recycling Project.

Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe will appear in theaters in Japan on January 30, 2026. The Sapporo Snow Festival will run from February 4 to 11, 2026.

BO7 Fallout Power Armor

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7's first event pass is set to hit this afternoon to coincide with the Season One Reloaded update, and its Fallout TV show theme has players quite excited and impressed with what it offers.

Yes, the premium track of the pass costs 1,100 CoD Points (about $10), but even the free rewards are pretty awesome. Players can unlock a total of 10 items simply by playing the game without putting in any investment.

The free track of the event pass includes two Vault Dweller operator skins, a Vault Boy weapon charm, Vault-Tec weapon camo, and the new Sturmwolf 45 SMG. So, if you're even remotely interested in BO7 at this point, it'll definitely be worth playing to unlock everything.

But the premium track is also quite nice, especially for the price compared to other store bundles that clock in at around $20 or more. It has operators and skins for both The Ghoul and Maximus, three weapon blueprints and other cosmetics. And CoD fans are genuinely digging what they see so far.

"That one is ACTUALLY worth spending the money on the premium track... nice!" said one player on X/Twitter, while another remarked that it's "100 times better than any of the garbage BO6 event passes we had." A lot of the same sentiment can be seen across multiple social media channels.

CoD Points are given as part of the battle pass each season on top of being able to purchase them with real money, so if you play BO7, this seems like about as good a value as you'll find. While many others and I rightfully scoff at the pricing of some bundles (the Lucy MacLean Fallout bundle is not included in any of the freebies or event pass), this event seems like it's worthwhile if you're a CoD player in 2026.

The Fallout collab is also introducing multiple limited-time modes and even a reskin of Nuketown called Vault Town, where the iconic location is decked out in Vault-Tec scenery. But personally, I'm most looking forward to the Zombies mode, where you can fight the Bethesda franchise's terrifying Deathclaws.

I have some CoD Points accrued in my account that I'll probably be using for this event pass, but even if I end up deciding against that, the free rewards will have me in the game for the first time in weeks. Oh, and Fallout season two is currently airing on Prime Video and is quite good, too, so the vibes around everything in this update (at least so far) are positive.

Beast of Reincarnation

The gaming year of 2026 begins in earnest in just a few weeks, Xbox announced today, confirming the date for its first Developer Direct showcase.

While today's New Game+ Showcase will show off many games coming in 2026, Microsoft is bringing out its big guns for the first Developer Direct of 2026, including two of its "big four" for the year: Fable and Forza Horizon 6.

Fable has seemingly been in development for ages, and Forza will always bring in a lot of hype. But for me, the third game of the showcase is the one I'm most interested in learning more about. Beast of Reincarnation, the action RPG first revealed last year, will finally get some more of the spotlight.

Beast of Reincarnation is a new title from Game Freak, a studio synonymous with the Pokémon franchise. But this looks to be something entirely new and different, and I have high hopes for whatever there is to show in a couple of weeks.

"In post-apocalyptic Japan, humanity's last hope may rest with Emma and her loyal canine companion, Koo," the game's description says. "Explore what it means to be human in Beast of Reincarnation, an expansive one-person, one-dog action RPG built around demanding, technical combat. What awaits at journey's end?"

Xbox teased that Game Freak will "reveal details of our protagonist Emma's innovative plant manipulation actions and gameplay with her canine companion," so we should have a more concrete idea of what the game truly is like and about ahead of its launch sometime later this year.

A small peek at the game's gameplay from last year showed a glimpse of action combat and some of the aforementioned flora changes, and it certainly looks gorgeous and potentially full of promise. Add it to the list of 2026 games we can look forward to.

The January 2026 Developer Direct takes place on Thursday, Jan. 22 at 12pm CT on all of Xbox's channels.

BO7 Fallout skins

Welcome back from the CODMAS holiday. Did you get your rest? Good, because it's time to sweat again.

Black Ops 7's newest update, Season One Reloaded, is ready to re-load the game with content across all modes, including multiplayer, Zombies, Endgame, and even Warzone, as Treyarch's live-service season kicks back into gear after the holiday break.

Here's what CoD players can look forward to in January 2026 as part of BO7's Season One Reloaded update's patch notes.

Two new weapons, the Hawker HX sniper rifle (BO2 Ballista) and Sturmwolf 45 SMG (reminiscent of the UMP 45) will be added as event rewards for all players to unlock for free.

The Hawker HX is unlocked in the Quantum Exchange limited time event, while the Sturmwolf 45 is available as part of the Call of Duty x Fallout event pass as a free reward.

New multiplayer content

BO7 map Fringe remake

New weapons need new locations to play in, including some remasters of classic maps.

  • Maps

    • Meltdown (BO2 remake)
    • Fringe (BO3 remake)
    • Yakei (new)
    • Vault Town (Fallout-themed Nuketown variant)

  • Modes

    • Takeover

      • "Take what's yours in this highly playable, dynamic objective mode. Two teams of six fight over three neutral territories, earning a point for each zone they control. Highest score at the end wins the game. When all three of the zones are captured, there's a slight cooldown before all three territories move to a new set of locations within the map."

New Zombies content

Astra Malorum BO7 zombies

Along with the guns, there's new content to play with in Zombies mode.

  • Directed Mode: Astra Malorum
  • Survival map: Zarya Cosmodrome
  • New LTM: Project RADS

    • "Feral Ghouls and Deathclaws invade Ashes of the Damned and Astra Malorum in this Fallout-themed LTM exposing the crew to increased levels of radiation with each passing round. In this mode, the usual means of healing and earning Essence are replaced with a system of drops given by fallen enemies that assist the crew in staying fit, keeping rad levels at bay, and gaining vital resources."

New Endgame content

BO7 Endgame enemy attack
Image via Activision

Additions to the PvE Endgame mode include new world events and a new skill track based on melee attacks.

  • World event: Wraith Wing

    • "This advanced Guild aircraft appears to have cloning capabilities with very lethal consequences as this squadron seems hellbent on eliminating as many JSOC Operators as it can. Disable it, fire at the exposed aircraft, and down that bird."

  • World event: Deathclaw Hunt

    • "In this Limited Time World Event, a bomb blast reduces a portion of Avalon into a Fallout-inspired wasteland. Head inside the blast zone, if you dare, to brave the toxic air and take on ferocious Deathclaws defended by hordes of Feral Ghouls."

  • Skill Track: Phantom

    • Ambush: Critical hits from behind on unaware enemies deal more damage.
    • Fast Melee: Faster Melee speed.
    • Trap Avoidance: Traps and Mines take longer to detect you. Undetectable when fully upgraded.
    • Silent Movement: Quiets movement and reduces enemy detection distance.
    • Elusive Target: Reduces accuracy of enemies shooting at you.
    • Decoy: Taking significant damage deploys an Echo Unit that distracts enemies.

Returning BO6 equipment

A bunch of loadout equipment from Black Ops 6 is making its way into BO7 via this update, including:

  • Shock Charge (tactical)
  • Impact Grenade (lethal)
  • Thermo Grenade (lethal)
  • War Machine (scorestreak)
  • Archangel Launcher (scorestreak)
  • Grim Reaper (scorestreak)
  • Death Machine (scorestreak)
  • Combat Bow (scorestreak)
  • Dreadnought (scorestreak)
  • Strategic Bomber (scorestreak)
  • Morphine Injector (Field Upgrade)
  • Tactical Insertion (Field Upgrade)

Fallout (TV series) collab

Fallout BO7 collab

The collaboration with the Fallout TV show on Prime Video will include operator skins, an event pass, store bundles, a Nuketown map variant, and more. Operator skins include Lucy MacLean, Maximus, and The Ghoul, but there are also limited time modes in Warzone, Zombies, and multiplayer, too.

New challenges and events

Additional weekly challenges will come every Thursday throughout the end of season one, along with limited-time events where players can unlock much of the free content, like weapons and more.

Warzone updates

Warzone BO7 Power Armor Royale
Image via Activision

Additional updates are coming for Warzone, including weapon balancing and more. But there are also two limited time modes:

  • LTM: High Octane

    • "All players deploy into the map with their chosen custom Loadout, so you're ready to engage the enemy will a full kit of gear right from the start. Scavenge juiced up loot across Verdansk including Gas Masks, Grappling Hooks, and Legendary Weapons. Cash payouts have been greatly increased as well, pairing perfectly with the ability to call up and purchase from the Buy Station interface at any time in the match. Don't spend it all in one place, as you'll need some money on hand to activate the automatic self-buyback should you go down."

  • LTM: Power Armor Royale

    • "Ready to dominate your foes with the help of some Power Armor? Hold on there, Vault Dweller, you're gonna have to charge up that Fusion Core first. Every Operator deploys with a Fusion Core, but it'll take some work to power it up enough to step into the suit. Operators can fill their Fusion Core by looting Fusion Core canisters, earned by completing Contracts, eliminating enemies, opening Supply Boxes, and dealing damage to enemy Power Armor users."

Meanwhile, there's been a slew of weapon balancing changes, including a big buff for the Mid-Range Barrel for BO7 assault rifles. The full list of changes for Warzone in the update can be found here.

For all of the BO7-specific bug fixes and changes in multiplayer, Zombies, and Endgame, see here.

How to cook food in StarRupture

Wolfram Excavator in StarRupture
Image via Creepy Jar

The first task is to reach level 2 for Moon Energy Corporation. You can do so by producing Titanium Bars and sending them via Orbital Cargo Launcher. This will unlock the Recipe Station that you can then place in your habitat. The Recipe Station will allow you to unlock different recipes, some of which will be usable in the Food Station.

To get the Food Station, you'll have to complete the level 6 requirements for Future Health Solutions. To do that, you have to send back Ceramics. This is a relatively mid or end-game activity.

You'll also need to obtain the different ingredients listed on the table above. You can also consume the ingredients, but you won't obtain the applicable boosts.

all ores in the forge complete ore guide

Updated on January 8, 2026: Added all Raven Cave ores, all boss Ores and updated for The Forge 03.01.2026 Update Log.

I'll show you all the Ores in The Forge as well as their stats, how to reach their locations and what pickaxes to use to mine them. I'll also be listing special traits every Ore for creating equipment. Here are all Ores in The Forge and my complete Ore guide.

The Forge Ore Guide

Below I'll list all ores in The Forge sorted by location and rarity but first let's explain Ore stats. Each Ore has its stats like multipliers, rock nodes they drop from and traits. Here's what all Ore stats mean:

  • Rarity: Lower rarity Ores usually appear only in low-tier Rocks/Nodes in the world while high rarity Ores usually appear only in the high-tier Rocks/Nodes (Example: Stone-Common appears only in Pebbles and not Boulders while Aite-Epic appears only in Boulders and not Pebbles). Also, since higher rarity ores give better multipliers you need to have more higher rarity ores than lower ones for the higher rarity buffs to work.
  • Drop Chance: The chance that you will get this specific ore when you mine the rock node from which it drops.
  • Rock/Node (Drops From): What type of rock node drops this ore when you mine it (Example: Platinum only drops from Boulder rock nodes).
  • Multiplier: How much an Ore multiplies the value/strength of the crafted item. The final multiplier will be the sum of all multipliers from all ores you put in divided by the number of ores. As for stacking more Ores, this just increases the size of the item like dagger>sword>greatsword or helmet>leggings>chest.
  • Price: How much gold you get when you sell it at Greedy Cey/Shop.
  • Trait: A special ability weapons or armor get when you craft them using this ore. You need at least 10% of the Ore when forging among all the Ores you're including. You can mix Ores to have multiple traits

Each ore will have all of these stats below and now that you know what all of them mean let's dive into the Ore list. Remember to equip as many Mining Shard runes on your pickaxe as you can.

Best Pickaxe Progression: Cobalt - Mythril - Arcane - Aqua - Snow - Prismatic

If you have Demonic going into Island 3, skip to Snow

All Frostpire Expanse Ores in The Forge [World 3]

I'll list Mosasaursit and The Peak ores below in a separate list since it's focused on various Ice Crystals not found in the Spider Cave. Note that the Arcane Pickaxe will only mine the Icy Pebbles and you'll need either the Demonite or one of the Island 3 pickaxes for Icy Rocks and above.

Rushing the Snow Pickaxe for $750.000 is your best bet with the Goblin Race since it'll mine everything and also allow you to get Mosasaursite & Prismatic Pickaxe.

Also note that some of these Spider Cave Ores can also drop in The Peak via Ice Crystals.

All The Peak Ores in The Forge [World 3]

The Peak is right above the town area on Island 3 which you can reach by going up the walkway to the right of Bjorn the quest giver. Inside of The Peak cave are Small, Medium, Large and Floating Ice Crystals as well as all the late-game enemies and the Golem Boss. I recommend at least the Snow Pickaxe for this area and remember to use the Goblin Race for a discount.

Rushing the Snow Pickaxe for $750.000 is your best bet with the Goblin Race since it'll mine everything and also allow you to get Mosasaursite & Prismatic Pickaxe.

Also note that some Spider Cave Ores reappear in The Peak since some drop from Ice Crystals.

Mosasaursit Ore & Prismatic Pickaxe in The Forge [World 3]

how to find mosasaursit and the priasmatic pickaxe in the forge
The Prismatic Pickaxe is just behind the ice wall where you get Mosasaursit

Mosasaursit is a special ore needed for the Prismatic Pickaxe that is found by diving into the hole at the frozen lake at the other side of Island 3. Follow the picture and video above to reach the frozen lake, dive into the hole and keeping swimming down to the bottom. There'll be a massive ice wall that you can mine for Mosasaursit and you need 320 Pickaxe strength so the Snow Pickaxe for $750.000 is your best bet. Mosasaursit is used to unlock the Prismatic Pickaxe which is behind the wall where you need 1 Mosasaursit and enough cash to get it (Use Goblin Race for a massive discount).

Mosasaursit has a 7x multiplier, a guaranteed drop from the ice wall you mine it from and the following traits:

Armor Only

-25% Swiftness
+35% Vitality

That's it for my all Ores in The Forge guide with locations and pickaxe requirements. Check out our The Forge codes for free goodies. Also, with all these Ore combinations in mind here's a weapon tier list for the game.

Taking picture with frosty rabbit standing up in disney dreamlight valley

All around The Winter Floating Festival island, there are hidden puzzles waiting to be solved in Disney Dreamlight Valley. One of the trickier ones you'll encounter in your adventures is the Frosty Rabbit puzzle.

This large creature needs to be fed to progress the puzzle and reveal a hidden treasure, but what the Rabbit wants to consume and how to find the secret prize is a mystery at first. It's an easy trial to get stuck on, so if you're have trouble working through it, here's how to solve The Winter Floating Festival Frosty Rabbit puzzle in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to complete The Winter Floating Festival Frosty Rabbit puzzle in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Feeding rabbit blue cocoa in disney dreamlight valley
Screenshot by Destructoid

To complete the Frosty Rabbit puzzle featured in The Winter Floating Festival event, you need to feed this critter the right item for four days, then find the hidden digging spot it reveals to claim your prize. This is one of the tougher event puzzles to get done since it has multiple parts and spans over the course of a few days.

What does The Winter Floating Festival Frosty Rabbit eat in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

Although you may be tempted to give the Frosty Rabbit some Carrots since that's what all regular Rabbits in the valley like, you actually need Festive Hot Cocoa to satisfy this critter. There are three Festive Hot Cocoa recipes, and the Rabbit's preferred flavor changes each day.

The Winter Floating Festival Frosty Rabbit puzzle solution Disney Dreamlight Valley

To get the full Frosty Rabbit puzzle done, you must feed it four times, review the fully finished memory, and locate the buried treasure. It's a rather lengthy process, especially compared to the other event puzzles, so here's a full breakdown of how to get it done.

The first step is to gather lots of Festive Cocoa Beans so you can brew up some Festive Hot Cocoa. Depending on what day it is, you'll need a different one. The full Festive Hot Cocoa schedule for the Frosty Rabbit is as follows.

  • Monday – Festive Mint Hot Cocoa
  • Tuesday – Festive Cherry Hot Cocoa
  • Wednesday – Festive Blueberry Hot Cocoa
  • Thursday – Festive Cherry Hot Cocoa
  • Friday – Festive Mint Hot Cocoa
  • Saturday – Festive Blueberry Hot Cocoa
  • Sunday – Festive Cherry Hot Cocoa

Once you have the right Festive Hot Cocoa made, track down the Frosty Rabbit around the island. This creature hops around all over it, so it might take a bit to find them. When you do, simply walk up to them and press the interact button to initiate the feeding process.

Each time you feed this critter the correct Hot Cocoa of the day, a Memory Orb will drop. You can interact with this orb to reveal a piece of a memory. After you've fed the Frosty Rabbit for four days, you'll have all four pieces of the memory, thus revealing the location you can visit to claim your reward.

The location pictured in the memory is the firepit with two gingerbread chairs next to it. You can find this spot behind the carousel in the area surrounded by a candy cane fence. The treasure won't appear here until the full memory is complete, though.

Once the Frosty Rabbit has been fed for four days, head over to the right spot featured in the memory. Then, equip your Royal Shovel and look for a glowing golden spot on the ground. Dig this spot to reveal a pouch that contains your reward.

After fully finishing the Frosty Rabbit puzzle, you get to claim the Taupe Winter Hat clothing item. This is the first piece in a three-part outfit you can earn through the event, with the other two items unlocking through additional puzzles.

There's plenty more you can tackle in this festive event to earn additional prizes. Next, you might focus on completing the Pillar puzzle or working your way through the Chocolate Fountain puzzle.

Lulu in League of Legends

League of Legends Season 16 brings a host of different Role quests for you to complete and win various rewards.

The quests will be live throughout the course of the season, and you can complete a few or all of them. While they're easy to start, finishing them will require a coordinated approach. This guide will provide key details about all the quests and what you can earn by completing them.

How to start Role quests in League of Legends

Role quests begin automatically when you begin a fresh round. They're assigned automatically based on your chosen role and character. If you change a character, the assignment will switch as well. IF you're playing in a custom Summoner's Rift lobby, you'll have to select a quest.

How to complete Role quests in League of Legends

The requirements for completing Role quests vary based on your role. The key objective is to earn points, and rewards are granted when you hit certain milestones.

  • For top, mid, and bot, you can earn points from Champion takedowns, Epic monster takedowns, minion kills, and Turret takedowns
  • If you're playing as a Support, you'll need to stack World Atlas.
  • For Junglers, points are earned when they raise the pets.

Points you earn by taking down turrets and minions will be doubled if you're doing so in your assigned lane. Some of the point generation will happen passively, which will allow you to obtain the rewards quicker.

All Role quest rewards in League of Legends Season 16

The table below has complete information about all Role quest rewards for every role.

Role Quest Progress Quest Rewards
Top Lane 1200 points required for quest completion
+1 per minion kill (+2 in Top Lane)
+30 per epic monster takedown
+25 per turret takedown (+50 in Top Lane)
+20 per turret plate (+40 in Top Lane)
+15 per champion takedown
Starting at 1:05, +1 per 3 seconds passively, increased to +8 per 5 seconds in and around top lane (Note: roughly, past your outermost living turret in your assigned lane.)
Level cap increased to 20
+600 experience
All future experience gains increased by 12.5%.
If the top laner did not select Teleport as a Summoner Spell, gain Unleashed Teleport on a 7 minute cooldown.
If the top laner did select Teleport as a Summoner Spell, they are also shielded for 30% of their maximum health on arrival, lasting for 30 seconds.
Jungle N/A Pet counters needed to fully finish the quest: 40 ⇒ 35
Gustwalker movement speed duration: 2s ⇒ 1.5s
Smite damage: 600/900/1200 ⇒ 600/1000/1400

Updated on January 8, 2026: Remade the entire tier list for the 0.5 Update. Tweaked tier list visuals and best traits.

The best units in Universal Tower Defense depend on five categories which are Hybrid, Hill, Ground, Support and Farm. I'll show you the best ones for all roles as well as talk about specific game modes, traits and relics. Here's my Universal Tower Defense tier list and guide.

Universal Tower Defense Unit Tier List

universal tower defense tier list

This is just a preview of the Universal Tower Defense tier list but the real ranking reasons are below. I'll go into each individual unit and talk about why it's ranked where it is, as well as the best game modes for it and specific traits. Note that I won't go much into progression since any unit can be good to progress with if you upgrade and Etherealize it with some Relics equipped. I'll focus more on Nightmare, Infinite, Challenges and Virtual Realm.

Stat & Evo Assumptions: I'll assume you're feeding and upgrading the units with good stat rolls from the Traits NPC. I'll also assume the EVO versions of units if they have an EVO. You can assume the non-EVO versions are a tier below in the same categories. For example, the base Admiral is still a good support but instead of a Hybrid he's a good Ground unit.

Best Stats: Usually the best stat to increase is Damage for overall DPS or SPA since most Relic Set Bonuses have effects that trigger on 5th/6th attack so the faster you trigger these the better.

Best Traits: I'll list the best traits for each unit below.

Best Relics: I'll list the best relics below the tier list breakdowns.

Farming Tips: Check out the FAQ below for the best farming tips for Gems, Trait Rerolls and more.

Meta Hybrid

S-Tier Hybrid Rankings Explained

Berserker (Enraged)
Mythic
• Top 3 DPS unit in the game overall and arguably the best Hybrid due to game mode flexibility and CC
• Fast ramp-up value
• Obliterates armored enemies, slows and increase all damage taken on enemies
• Second-best unit for VR after Kriatu EVO
• Decent on Infinite but not the best

• Best Trait: Ruler or Sacred

Jinoo (Monarch)
Banner Secret
• Top 3 DPS unit with shadows dealing massive damage with the scaling buff
• Best unit for Infinite due to the massive scaling and decent on VR
• Note that he's not the best for faster game modes since he takes a while to scale up
• That said, he got a massive buff on December 20 giving his passive to the unevolved version and pumping his mana gain and damage

• Best Trait: Ruler or Eternal

Koyote (Number One)
Mythic
• A Hybrid-on-upgrade DPS machine that spams wolf summons on takedown dealing sustained DPS and charging energy (Especially on E4)
• Also has a massive damage burst Nuke that fires on max energy doing 500% damage
• Koyote is one of the best hybrid DPS and overall DPS units in the game for any mode

• Best Trait: Ruler for main DPS or Sacred/Eternal for secondary DPS

Admiral (Magma)
Legendary EVO
• The best budget unit in the game since you get it easily as a Legendary and it stays strong in the late-game via EVO
• Easily one of the best Fire units in the game
• Admiral is good for two reasons, he deals impressive DOT damage but also acts as a support with Confusion
• Confusion makes enemies walk back which is amazing stalling for your main DPS units

• Best Trait: Wizard or Fission

Good Hybrid

S-Tier Hybrid Rankings Explained

Ichiko (Rage)
Secret
• Ichiko is good, don't get me wrong, but he's just raw DPS with not a lot of utility past the 5-second active stun that's on a 90s cooldown
• Requires a specific build around crit chance and damage to maximize his passive damage and overall DPS (Go full damage on substats)
• Still one of the better units in the game, just slightly weaker than the ones above

• Best Trait: Ruler or Sacred

Dragon Guy (Silverite)
Challenges Secret
• Got massive buffs to Twin Dragon Hunting Flash, Shatter and Are You Scared helping him in faster modes
• He's not a Meta DPS but he is Meta if you consider him a Hybrid DPS Support mix since he can CC enemies
• Great on Virtual Realm and Infinite but takes a while to activate his Trance
(This is not as much of a problem anymore due to buffs)
• He's best with units that can apply Freeze since his Shatter deals burst damage on frozen targets
• He can also self-cleanse stuns which is really good for Infinite

• Best Trait: Ruler or Eternal

Scarlet Maid (World)
Get from Virtual Shop
• A hybrid DPS and Support that can now be viable with the December 20 buffs to her skill damage and The World ability
• Stuns enemies, has Slows and deals great DPS with Time Gauge stacks which trigger various high damage attacks
• The only downside is that her CC needs to be activated by attacking and is not on every attack like other CC units
• Great on Infinite
• That said, she's best when you have E6 since the CC lasts for a long time

• Best Trait: Ruler or Sacred

Mob (100%)
Mythic
• Overall a great slowing unit and an always useful Hybrid that got a slight damage buff which adds up fast
• Really good for VR and Infinite as a supporting slowing option with Eternal and decent with Ruler as a DPS but I would stick to it as a support/DPS mix

• Best Trait: Ruler or Eternal

Meta Ground

S-Tier Ground Rankings Explained

Grommjow (Panther)
Exclusive
• Deals Meta-level AOE DPS and works similarly to Koyote where you're collecting meter but instead of a nuke, Grommjow transforms on full meter
• The transformation boosts both single-target DPS and AOE damage due to the explosion per enemy
• Great against armor

• Best Trait: Ruler or Eternal

Kriatu (Cheater)
Mythic
• The best ground unit in the game currently
• Also the best unit in the game for VR
• Deals increasingly more damage as he crits
• Get the Duelist trait on him ASAP so that he can crit more and therefore ramp up damage faster
• He can only gain more crit from Traits
• Got a huge buff on ability damage making him even better

• Best Trait: Duelist

Sasku (Chakra)
Mythic
• Overall great on any mode with excellent DoT damage, utility and overall DPS (Especially with the buffs on Arrow and Kirin)
• The utility mainly comes from the passive which has some hybrid potential
• Also has decent CC for pseudo-supporting
• Excellent for grinding Story since he's easy to get and EVO
• You can either run him as your main DPS with Ruler or off-DPS with Wizard for DoTs

• Best Trait: Wizard or Ruler

Shunks (Conqueror)
Mythic
• You get both damage and stuns all in one unit making Shunks one of the best units in the game
• Definitely worth to EVO
• Meta support DPS for all game modes due to stuns

• Best Trait: Ruler or Sacred

Alternative Ground

A-Tier Ground Rankings Explained

Ronin Obito/Rogue Oni
Exclusive
Day 7 Daily Reward
• The best on Story mode since you can get him for free Day 7 and grind story
• Impressive DoT damage but not as much utility as other DoT units like Sasuke, Ace and Admiral
• Will be much stronger if they gave him an EVO like Rule

• Best Trait: Wizard

Footballer (Ego)
Exclusive
BattlePass Reward
Level
25
• Decent DPS with the self-buff and mini damage buff on ally but doesn't combo with anything nor excel in anything
• Great for Story since you can get it fast for free via BattlePass
• Overall a decent DPS option if you don't have anything else

• Best Trait: Ruler or Sacred

Gen
Legendary
• Can be good for Story and other game modes if you invest a lot into it as a beginner
• That said later it's not that good

• Best Trait: Sacred or Eternal

Meta Air/Hill

S-Tier Air Rankings Explained

Tierabel (Hydro)
Mythic
• Arguably the best Hill/Air unit currently, since she has great damage with spawning AOE damage tides
• Plus, she also slows enemy units offering mini support potential
• Becomes even stronger in her mode
• Note that it isn't that worth it running Nell just for the combo on the first passive since it's not that much

• Best Trait: Eternal

Spade (Donut)
Mythic
• The best Air/Hill DPS unit and one of the best units in the game overall due to the passive on-shield damage
• Amazing for progressing story/legend stage since you can get it fast and you need a good Air ASAP
• Otherwise great for VR and Infinite as your Hill slot with Ruler as a main DPS or Astral as a secondary DPS
• Best trait is Astral since Spade is the best Burn DOT unit in the game right now

• Best Trait: Astral or Ruler

Ultiorra (Oblivion)
Mythic
• Similar to Tierabel in that Ultiorra deals decent DPS and also has supporting abilities from Unpredictable Despair where he can Confuse or Stun enemies
• I prefer him over Spade when not facing shields since Spade is better against shields
• You also get an active Nuke that deals massive damage on a 45s cooldown which is pretty good for clearing important waves

• Best Trait: Ruler or Eternal

Cyborg (Fearless)
Mythic
• The weakest Air/Hill unit but can still hold his own due to the December 20 buffs
• The main reason he's much better now is that his Nuke got a massive buff for targeted damage and is on a much lower CD
• Decent DoT and he's a must-have if you don't have Spade or other Hill units to hit fliers

• Best Trait: Wizard or Ruler

Alternative Air/Hill

A-Tier Air Rankings Explained

Pebble
Legendary
• Great starter Hill unit with good beginner DPS

• Best Trait: Artificer

Great Early Game Air/Hill Units
• Your beginner package for Hill units before you get the Legendaries

Meta Support

S-Tier Support Rankings Explained

Rule (ROOM)
Exclusive
BattlePass Reward
Level 50
• Incredibly versatile support that stuns and teleports enemy units
• Great on all modes but especially on Virtual Realm

• Best Trait: Ruler or Eternal

Tierabel (Hydro)
Mythic
• Arguably the best Hill/Air unit currently, since she has great damage with spawning AOE damage tides
• Plus, she also slows enemy units offering mini support potential
• Becomes even stronger in her mode
• Note that it isn't that worth it running Nell just for the combo on the first passive since it's not that much

• Best Trait: Eternal

Admiral (Magma)
Legendary EVO
• The best budget unit in the game since you get it easily as a Legendary and it stays strong in the late-game via EVO
• Easily one of the best Fire units in the game
• Admiral is good for two reasons, he deals impressive DOT damage but also acts as a support with Confusion
• Confusion makes enemies walk back which is amazing stalling for your main DPS units

• Best Trait: Wizard or Fission

Miku (Super Star)
Mythic
• Buffs all units around her with either increased Damage or Range
• Etherealize up to 6 is key here to increase the buffs
• The best buffer in the entire game and she becomes worth it after you place some units already so don't use her as a starter or second unit
• Amazing for Infinite

• Best Trait: Artificer

Alternative Support

A-Tier Support Rankings Explained

Lulu
Quest Secret
Check out how to unlock him>
• Our Lulu/Lelouch Quest Guide will show you how to unlock this unit
• Lulu is a great support unit when he works that doesn't attack but instead issues orders based on his cooldown
• He can stall units a lot which helps your main DPS units get in more damage
• He can also stun enemy units
• That said, there's also some great damage here with the Beam order (Which got buffed)
• Great for all game modes and is overall one of the best supports
Laughing Captain Relic set bonus is great on him for reduced active cooldowns

• Best Trait: Ruler or Sacred

Shunks (Conqueror)
Mythic
• You get both damage and stuns all in one unit making Shunks one of the best units in the game
• Definitely worth to EVO
• Meta support DPS for all game modes due to stuns

• Best Trait: Ruler or Sacred

Scarlet Maid (World)
Get from Virtual Shop
• A hybrid DPS and Support that can now be viable with the December 20 buffs to her skill damage and The World ability
• Stuns enemies, has Slows and deals great DPS with Time Gauge stacks which trigger various high damage attacks
• The only downside is that her CC needs to be activated by attacking and is not on every attack like other CC units
• Great on Infinite
• That said, for Supporting purposes she's lower on the list since she's best when you have E6 for a massive duration boost which can be slow to grind

Nelle (Primal)
Mythic
• A weird DPS unit that revets between baby and adult form granting various buffs that ultimately produce sub-optimal damage
• That said has some decent supporting abilities with Ichiko and Tierabel which are both really good units
• That said, I wouldn't run Nellee unless you really like her from Bleach

Shakumira EVO
Legendary EVO
• A low DPS unit but offers great support potential with a stalling ability
• Not the best unit to EVO for all modes but pretty great on Infinite, especially with the cooldown buff on the CC

• Best Trait: Artificer

Zora
Legendary
• Great beginner unit and overall a decent support with the CC effect
• Scarlet Maid is a better unit and DPS but Zora's CC is more reliable for supporting

• Best Trait: Artificer

Farm

Farm Rankings Explained

Fastcart
Epic
• The only Farm unit in the game
• Get the Fortunate trait on him ASAP
• Good for all modes

• Best Trait: Fortune

Roblox Jack o Lantern Boombox

Updated: January 8, 2026
We looked for new codes!

There's just something about listening to your favorite music in a public setting and forcing it upon the ears of others. Roblox has turned this real-world nuisance into a series of games on its platform.

Using a database of uploaded songs, players can input Song IDs to blast their song of choice directly into the ears of strangers all over the world. Here are some of the best.

Best songs for Roblox 2025

Prior to a change in March 2022, users could upload virtually any audio file and have it be playable in any game that supported the boombox via a Song ID. The change retroactively made any audio longer than six seconds private. This meant that if you weren't the person who had originally uploaded the audio file, you would no longer be able to play or hear the sound.

This means the vast majority of Song ID repositories are now functionally useless, and users have been restricted to a much smaller selection of songs and sound clips of varying quality. One important thing to know is that there's no guarantee that any individual Song ID may work, as they can be made private by either Roblox staff or the user who uploaded it.

Below are 30 absolute bangers to entertain yourself and possibly others around you. I have personally confirmed that each is working at the time of this writing. Go forth, aspiring DJs!

How to search for Song IDs in Roblox

To search for music codes on Roblox, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Roblox homepage
  2. Select 'Create'
  3. Go to 'Store'
  4. Select the 'Audio' tab
  5. Choose any audio
  6. Hit the arrow on the right side and press 'More Info'
  7. Copy the numbers within your internet browser's URL (right after assets)
  8. Paste the numbers to use your music code in-game

You'll discover many sections on the Audio page, from the top Roblox Song IDs to the newest hits of the day. After you find a song, you can get its ID through 'More Info.' Discover the correct number from your URL. For instance, mine came out to 'create.roblox.com/store/asset/75793628822368/Mirage-Portal.' Thus, the bolded numbers would be utilized as the Song ID.

How to use music codes in Roblox

Playing music in Roblox varies in each game, as they all have different methods. Sometimes, it can cost money with Robux, while other times, it doesn't cost a thing. To play music for free, play Catalog Heaven, a game that allows you to customize your avatar and battle nearby bases. Once you start playing, select 'Catalog' and type in Boombox. There will be a few choices here, including the Boombox Gear 3.0 and Golden Super Fly Boombox. Choose one of them to trigger a prompt to enter Roblox music codes.

Tap on the Boombox again if you want to change songs. You can also stop the music by unequipping it in your inventory. Besides Catalog Heaven, you can see if other games permit music. I discovered that Jailbreak features a Car Stereo mechanic, costing 200 Robux. With this title, you can type in 'R' or tap the radio on the bottom-right corner of the screen. Then, enter any Song ID you prefer to listen to some tunes on Jailbreak.

For the most part, it seems like Roblox titles that use music codes require a subscription pass. Therefore, if you're unsure whether your game is compatible, check the title's Subscription & Passes section to see if there's a radio or stereo feature.

Can I create custom music playlists in Roblox?

Only Roblox game developers can create custom music playlists. It's associated with a tool used in scripting to create soundtracks for various worlds. If you're a player, you must manually enter each ID to make your own version of a playlist.
