Former Assassin's Creed series lead Marc-Alexis Côté is suing Ubisoft for damages, alleging that his abrupt October departure from the company after 20 years wasn't a matter of personal choice, but a case of "constructive dismissal". That, in non-legalese, means that the developer believes he was left with no choice but to resign, having been offered new roles he viewed as demotions amid a round of corporate musical chairs.

Valve have reportedly rewritten Steam's AI disclosure form, essentially a declaration of a game's generative AI usage that developers and publishers must complete to sell on the platform. The new form, shared by consultant Simon Carless, now specifies that while the presence of in-game GenAI content must still be divulged, including on the game's store page, the usage of AI-based production tools for "efficiency gains" does not require disclosure.

"We are aware that many modern game development environments have AI powered tools built into them," the update form reads. "Efficiency gains through the use of these tools is not focus of this section. Instead, it is concerned with the use of AI in creating content that ships with your game, and is consumed by players."

Review: Tales of Xillia Remastered Is Another Fine Switch Remaster

Bandai Namco's Tales of remaster push is in full swing, following the rerelease of Graces f, return of Xillia Remastered, and upcoming Berseria revival. It's a good time to play catch up, for sure. This does mean things are par for the course. With Tales of Xillia Remastered on the Switch we're getting access on a new platform with some quality of life changes, but performance is better on Switch 2.

Tales of Xillia features two protagonists. Jude Mathis is a medical student in Fennmont. While investigating instances of people unable to use Spirit Artes and his mentor's absence after visiting a military facility, he goes to investigate. Meanwhile, Milla Maxwell is the current Lord of the Spirits who is investigating spirits' deaths and is lead to that same stronghold in that search. The two end up teaming up, learning that the army created the Lance of Kresnik. With Milla's spirits Efreet, Gnome, Sylph, and Undine taken after an attack and the two forced to escape, they team up to begin a journey for her to regain the spirits, destroy the weapon, and naturally save the world and learn important truths about it in the process.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fd0VM2d3JNU

While there are two possible heroes and routes, it really comes down to personal preference in Tales of Xillia Remastered. There will be some different story scenes depending on who you choose, such as a different introduction for each depending on the lead you choose. But in the end, you'll end up in the same place and there's only one ending. You'll also still get the same allies no matter what and can of course swap who you're using in battle as in any Tales of game, so there's really no fear of missing out. New to this version is the ability to skip story scenes and skits. If you're replaying it, it could be handy, but since there are a lot of critical plot points even in some more early or innocuous moments, I recommend paying attention to all the event scenes the first go around. (But if a skit isn't your thing, I feel it's safe to pass over those!)

As in other Tales of games and remaster releases, Tales of Xillia Remastered is an action-RPG with four characters moving freely about a 3D battlefield to attack enemies within it. Also, as usual, the system ended up with an elaborate name (Dual Raid Linear Motion Battle System). Basically, the character you are controlling attacks freely and the CPU controls the others. They can use ttacks, items, and Artes. The thing that sets it apart from other installments is the "dual raid" element, since it's possible to pair two characters up as partners for linked Artes. It can result in some really solid combos and is generally one of the better takes on the system in the series, and since you can swap folks in and out, it's easy to experiment with duos you might like. The quality of life changes for the remaster involve the option to retry a regular battle if everyone in the party dies, which could be helpful in the late game, or turn subtitles on for in-battle dialogue.

Getting into that, a lot of the Tales of Xillia Remastered additions and changes exclusive to the remaster feel like obvious inclusions of everything from the base release, little touch-ups like the retry feature that make things a little more obvious or immediately available, or touch-ups. The DLC is all included, which is largely cosmetic options. The Grade Shop that lets you turn on things that could make the game easier or more difficult is available right away, rather than being locked behind a new game plus file. The autosave functionality is one of my favorite features, but that's partially because I accidentally let my Switch battery get too low one time and I feel like that saved me some worrying. It's also a lot clearer where you need to go and what's around you, due to extra icons on the various maps.

It is important to note that while some of the Tales of Xillia Remastered changes are convenient and it will look a little crisper, even on a Switch in handheld mode, I did notice some minor performance quirks on the base system compared to a Switch 2. It runs really well on Nintendo's newer handheld and is completely compatible with it. The load times on the base model are noticeable when getting into the game or loading up a save, but they aren't too bad when heading between locations or into a battle. You're also locked at 30fps regardless of your current actions, and I did notice sometimes on the Switch it would dip below that in locations that were especially "busy" in terms of NPCs or environmental elements. In-battle, it seemed fine and like it always handled at 30fps, however. I was a little disappointed that battles couldn't hit 60fps. I owned the PS3 version and it could manage that for fights. On the plus side, it is a much brighter version of the game with improved lighting effects, which is noticeable in almost every situation compared to the PS3 original.

Tales of Xillia Remastered is another totally fine remaster, with Bandai Namco ensuring all of the original's content is paired with some QOL additions on the Switch. It's a totally serviceable way to play the game. Especially since it only first appeared on the PS3, limiting its scope. There are some instances on the original Switch where it is noticeably not hitting the same marks as other platforms, but it does run better on a Switch 2 if you've got one. It's definitely worth revisiting if you love the series.

Tales of Xillia Remastered is available for the Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. The original game is on the PS3.

A player in Heartopia

Life-sim adventure Heartopia allows you to get different pets on your journey, but it will take some time for you to reach the point where you can start collecting them.

As of writing on Jan. 19, there are two types of pets you can adopt: a dog and a cat. I am not considering Oak-Oak as a pet for all the right reasons. Let's look at how you can adopt a pet for the first time in Heartopia.

How to get a pet in Heartopia

Your first task is to reach D.G. Member Level 12. This achievement will take some time based on how you're playing Heartopia. Once done, a new quest will lead you to Mrs. Joan and her Adoption Center.

To have a pet, you'll need the Pet Care hobby. For starters, make sure to unlock the five basic hobbies: Cooking, Insect Catching, Bird Watching, Fishing, and Gardening. Once done, go to the Adoption Centre. Provide Mrs. Koan with a hobby Expansion Ticket to unlock the CatCaring and Dog Caring options.

How to get all pets in Heartopia

The first option you get for a pet is a cat, followed by a dog.

Cat adoption explained

Speak with Mrs. Joan and select the options that refer to cats. There are three cats available for adoption. Interact with a cat, and you'll get to pick them (if you like). Before you make your pick, you can view their breed, gender, and personality traits.

Once you're sure of your decision, select Adopt. You can also choose to return and pick another one instead. Your selected cat will be sent to your home, and you can use the in-game smartwatch to keep track of them.

Dog adoption explained

When Mrs. Joan tells you about cats, ask her to speak again, and she will then introduce dogs as pets. The remaining procedure is pretty much the same as adopting a cat. Like cats, three options are available for pups. You can check their breed, gender, and personalities before confirming your choice.

anime story unit tier list and best teams

Updated on January 19, 2026: Updated for the new Chainsaw Man units.

The best teams and best units in Anime Story depend on what role you need and what game mode you're playing. I'll show you the best single-target, AOE, Tank and Support units to bring to all game modes, even for farming. Here's my Anime Story tier list and unit guide.

Best Anime Story Unit Tier List

anime story tier list

I've split the tier list into three sections for the best DPS units in Anime Story like single-target and AOE as well as best Tanks and Supports. I'll provide individual ranking reasons for all of them below. Afterwards, I'll talk about the best teams in the game for Raids, Progression/Tower and Farming as well as best Traits and Relics to use. For now, here are the tier breakdowns:

  • Meta: Must-have units that transcend roles due to incredible DPS and utility.
  • S-Tier: There are three tiers like this for DPS/Tanks/Supports which include the best units within their role.
  • A-Tier: Either situationally S-Tier or build-specific units that are excellent alternatives if you don't have the S-Tiers. There are three tiers like this for DPS/Tanks/Supports.
  • B-Tier: Underpowered DPS Mythics that are good early but struggle in late-game content.
  • C-Tier: Beginner units that you shouldn't use in the later stages of the game.

Evolutions: I have ranked all units according to their EVO stats taking into account their highest potential. You can consider that the Non-EVO equivalents are either on the bottom of the same tier or one tier below. For example, base non-EVO Pride is still an S-/A+ Tier tank.

Best Teams: Check out the best team combinations below the tier list.

Meta: The Meta is the S-Tier units from the DPS and Support categories with Tanks not being mandatory but rather used when you're struggling or don't have the units from the best teams section.

S-Tier DPS

S DPS Ranking Reason Ability

Gojin (Christmas)
Secret
Single-Target
• Meta single-target DPS and can tank a lot of hits due to the dodge chance thus wasting enemy turns
• A much-needed improvement on the old Gojin
50% chance to dodge an attack

Vogita (Purple)
Secret
Single-Target
• One of the strongest units for raids and extended late-game fights due to infinite scaling
• Theoretically, the best unit in the game if given enough time
• That said, not the best for quick farm comps where you want to clear some levels in seconds
• Evolve Vogita (Blue) using Scantron drops from World 1 boss
Every round gain 75% more Damage

Mazara (Susanoo)
Mythic
5-Target
• The best AOE damage unit in the entire game with some of the highest DPS in the game multi-hit-wise If enemy is stronger, deal 150% more DMG

Bald
Secret
Single-Target
• The highest single-target damage unit in the game outdamaging Kaizen and Roku and even Vogito in quick battles
• Bald is also the best Raid unit to bring since he destroys bosses
Attacks deal anywhere from 100% to 300% bonus damage randomly

Dark Assassin
Mythic
Single-Target
• One of the best units in the game for Raids where he can execute low HP enemies
• This gets you a ton of value since enemies have incredibly high HPs here
• Situations happen where you drop an enemy low and one of your high DPS single target units wastes their attack finishing them off
• Dark Assassin prevents that and makes it so you don't waste turns finishing low HP enemies off
• Comboes well with Bald where Bald hits the first burst and Dark Assassin finishes them off
Executes the target if it has 25% or less HP remaining

Vampire
Mythic
Full AOE
• Deals a ton of DPS with those Full AOE attacks
• Excellent utility if you don't have Roku (Blue)
• That said, once you have Roku (Blue) Vampire's ability falls off drastically since Roku makes your team go first anyway
• Still, if you don't run Roku for some reason, Dio gets much more value
This unit always acts first and his attacks ignore defenses

Destruction
Mythic
3-Target
• Amazing beginner Mythic and one of the best farm Mythics in the game
• Deals impressive AOE DPS
• That said, what makes him good is the farm potential due to the opening burst
• Clears lower World stages in seconds for farming EVO materials
• Also marks targets to boost your overall team damage
Upon enter, deal 100% DMG to all enemies.
Each attack has a 30% chance to apply Mark

A-Tier DPS

A DPS Ranking Reason Ability

Sun's Child
Mythic
Single-Target
• Got reworked from a tank to a DPS and now deals impressive damage
• Combines well with opening burst damage units like Destruction to get enemies low ASAP
When the Boss's or the strongest enemy's HP drops below 50%,
this unit gets a 100% damage boost and applies Solar Burn
(30% damage, 3 ticks)

War Demon
Immortal
3-Targets
• Deals a lot of semi AOE damage at the expense of your team's HP so she goes best with healer supports and decently with tanks Each attack consumes 50% health from the ally with the highest health,
adding that amount as fixed damage to this unit's current attack.

Demon Hunter
Immortal
Full AOE
• A bit slow at first as you stack curses but then deals a massive damage burst on three stacks
• Great AOE alternative to the S-Tiers
• Not the best for quick farming but quite strong for longer fights
Each attack applies a Curse stack
At 3 Curse stacks detonate all stacks to deal 30% of the target's max HP
Then reset stacks

Power
Immortal
Single-target
• A- or even maybe B due to being slow but she does deal great single-target DPS with a few passive procs
• Stacking goes much faster with Chainsaw Man in the team though (That said he's a mediocre DPS unit late-game)
• Let her chill in A but I'll probably lower her to B next patch
Gains Blood stacks when:
1) Any unit takes damage
2) Any unit takes Chainsaw Man's passive Bleed damage
3) Any unit dies
At 30+ stacks consumes them to increase damage by 30%

Itadori (Christmas)
Mythic
Single-Target
• A very high roll unit that can either suck or be really good with constant turn refreshes to deal a ton of DPS Has a 20% chance to act again after an action

Kaizen (Kido)
Exclusive/Limited
Single-Target
• Some of the highest single-target DPS you can reach in Anime Story
• Outdamages Roku Ultra in single-target but Roku is still incredibly useful for the first-strike, especially in later fights
Every 2nd attack, deal 100% more DMG

Devil Cyborg
Mythic
Single-Target
• Excellent boss killer due to the crits
• Great alternative if you don't have Bald, Kaizen or Vogita
• Combos well with Dark Assassin to finish off low HP targets
Increase own crit chance by 50% and crit damage by 25%

Reaper (Bankai)
Mythic
Single-Target
• Has high base damage due to being a single-target unit but can then do AOE damage on 4 units every third attack on average
• Excellent DPS and can drastically increase if you get lucky and trigger the effect more often
35% chance to target 3 more units

Ant King
Secret
Single-Target
• Similar to Raven (Red) in terms of incredibly high single-target damage, especially in later fights due to % damage 50% chance to Poison a target for 15% of their Max HP

Roku (Blue)
Secret
Single-Target
• Same as Roku Ultra but weaker
• I would still bring him due to the incredibly useful ability that allows you to take out an enemy before they start a turn
Allows all allies to start battle first

B-Tier DPS

B DPS Ranking Reason Ability

Raven (Red)
Mythic
Single-Target
• Like Ant King Raven Red is one of the better single-target DPS Mythics in the game
• It takes a bit for the Burn to get going which is why Raven is better in extended fight and worse in shorter fights
50% chance to Burn a target for 100% DMG

Chainsaw
Immortal
Full AOE
• Great for beginners and a decent overall unit due to good Immortal stats and AOE attacks
• That said the DPS is a bit low for late-game unless you're combining him with other Bleeds, Power or Gun Demon for buffs and synergies
30% to inflict Bleed that deals 50% attack damage on proc
This Bleed stacks with other Bleeds

Gray (Ultimate)
Mythic
5-Target
• Really good AOE DPS with the Deadeye trait and Grapple Hook/Flame Sword relic along with Silent Bloom unit as support for max crit chance
• With this comp he is A-Tier or low S dealing a lot of damage, healing and pseudo-tanking and without it he is B-Tier
Each Crit you land, heal for 1.5% Max HP

Tatsumaki
Mythic
Full AOE
• Tatsumaki is an S-Tier unit on paper but I put her in A because her base damage and DPS are a little low
• That said she's a full AOE unit that can deal a lot of damage if you bring supports around her and give her the best damage increase relics
• She'll be much better with an EVO but so far she's a worse Madara, still good though
Every 2nd attack deal 50% more damage

Sound Breather
Mythic
3-Target
• Tengen is a weaker version of Gray but is still pretty good offering nice 3-Target damage with sustain
• Stack him with the Deadeye trait and Grapple Hook/Flame Sword relic along with Silent Bloom and you're good
Each Crit you land, heal for 1% Max HP

Wrath (Fury)
Mythic
Single-Target
• Situationally amazing with healing units like Roku (Rose), Orihime or Sakura early and with Gluttony/Merlin to buff him
• In these builds Wrath can deal both great AOE and single-target damage
• Otherwise without heals you don't get much value from the ability so Wrath is very situational
35% chance to return 150% DMG to the attacker

Time Angel
Mythic
3-Target
• A decent filler DPS, especially if you proc the ability on a high damage enemy
• That said, Time Angel doesn't have a lot of synergy with other units so there's no OP combo potential and he doesn't scale well with buffs
• He's A-Tier for raw stats alone
Every round start, 30% chance to make an enemy attack its allies

Ant King
Secret
Single-Target
• Why the EVO is incredibly strong the base version is a bit slow
• Only good in extended fights but you definitely want to rush EVO ASAP since the base version ramps up more slowly due to lower stats
• Personally I'd rather go with Raven EVO or Ant King over base Vogita (Blue) if you need single-target damage
• Get Ethereal and the Katana relic for more damage multipliers
Every round gain 50% more Damage

Wild Boar
Mythic
Single-Target
• Similar to Reaper but weaker
• Reaper is currently better IMO since he can hit more targets but Wild Board will be better with EVO
40% chance to target 2 more units

Ethereal Archer
Mythic
2-Target
• A worse version of Devil Cyborg but the 2-Target DPS can be impressive with damage boosting supports Increase Critical Chance by +35%

C-Tier DPS

C DPS Ranking Reason Ability
anime story envy
Envy
Limited/Exclusive
Single-Target
• Similar to Vogita (Blue) though she scales damage much more slowly
• In return though you get HP which helps her tank more hits and her DPS is pretty good with the combo below
• Get Ethereal and the Katana relic since Envy loves damage multipliers
Every round gain 20% more damage and health

Gear Lupy
Mythic
Single-Target
• Everyone's favorite beginner Mythic that you'll use once you start and almost never again
• He's unreliable for late game due to the randomness of his ability
Attacks randomly deal between 85% and 235% Damage

Demon One
Mythic
Single-Target
• Basically a weaker Raven when you EVO Raven 100% chance to Burn a target on hit for 30% DMG

Water Breather
Mythic
2-Target
• Almost the same as Ethereal Archer with slightly better stats
• A great alternative DPS option for grinding story that stacks well with Silent Bloom's buff
Increase Critical Chance by +35%

Super Roku
Mythic
Single-Target
• Just a decent beginner unit with slower-to-ramp but okay DPS, nothing wrong here
• That said there are many better units
Every round gain +20% more Damage

Boo
Mythic
Single-Target
• While the damage is really good and the Mark is OP, Boo is very unreliable
• In later story fights and Raids there are so many enemies where you won't even get a chance to constantly proc the mark
• That's why it's awkward to use Boo and I wouldn't recommend him
Has 40% chance to apply Majin Power
After 3 Majin Power stacks, the target is Marked and receives 200% DMG

Ultimate Warrior
Mythic
Single-Target
• Decent damage boost when stunned but it's very situational to activate so it's not the most reliable unit When stunned, deal 200% DMG on the next attack

D-Tier DPS

Sosuke, Youji and Agony are the worst Mythics in the game just in terms of being underpowered. They might get much better once they receive their EVOs. As for the Legendaries the best one is Levan in terms of DPS but decent options also include Acu, Xoro and Shibue for beginner comps.

S-Tier Tanks

S Tank Ranking Reason Ability

Shadow Knight
Secret
Single-Target
• Incredibly good tank in quick fights that don't drag on since he's unkillable for a short period of time Gain a Damage Immunity Shield for 2 turns after the first time this unit takes a Fatal Hit

Pride (Sun)
Mythic
Single-Target
• The counterpart of Shadow Knight that deals more damage after death and is slightly better in longer fights Increase DMG by 50% and after death, revive with 250% HP and 250% ATK

Greed (Fox)
Exclusive/Limited
Battlepass
Single-Target
• Very high-risk high-reward Tank that can last a long time if he deals good damage and is supported by a healer
• That said if you don't have a healer like Roku Rose or Orihime to keep him from getting killed, he's much worse than Pride and SK if he dies
• This is because Greed doesn't have a revive mechanic
Convert 75% of your DMG to HP

A-Tier Tanks

A Tank Ranking Reason Ability

Titan
Mythic
2-Target
• Titan is the weakest revive Tank but is still a must-have unit for some modes if you don't have better Tanks
• Incredibly good for a tank slot and miles ahead of the other A-Tier Ruki
Revives to 50% Max HP and gains a 50% DMG Boost after the first time this unit takes a Fatal Hit

Ruki
Legendary
Single-Target
• Your starter tank before you get Titan or the higher-tier ones Reduce incoming Damage by 30%

S-Tier Supports

S Support Ranking Reason Ability

Roku (Ultra)
Secret
Single-Target
• Top 3 most useful units in the game
• This is because you get to go first which is amazing for bursting down single enemies and eliminating their turn before they get to act
• Acts as a pseudo Support due to the ability but also deals great single-target damage
• The best unit for Tower, Challenges and farming
• Evolve Roku (Blue) with materials from the Dragon Ball Raid Act 6
Allows all allies to start battle first

Dominate
Lord
• Gives your strongest DPS unit an extra turn each round, effectively giving you a copy of it Applies Dominate buff to the highest attack friendly unit
Units with Dominate will take extra turns on a round without affecting normal initiative

Silent Bloom (Kageyoshi)
Mythic
3-Target
• One of the best supports in the entire game, massively boosting your team's damage
• Works great with high base damage units in the S and A-Tiers
• Also deals impressive AOE damage himself
Upon entry, buff all allies' Critical Chance by +30%

Golden Wind
Mythic
Single-Target
• Amazing support unit that basically gives the Tank revive abilities to any unit that falls
• Gives your DPS units additional turn of damage or more if focused by the enemy
• Amazing for end-game game modes
Revive the first fallen unit in combat and return a 100% of the damage dealt to the attacker
(Once per battle)

Lust
Mythic
Single-Target
• A quick little damage boost for all your units due to the Mark
• Deals decent single-target damage
• Works better with high single-target base damage units to make the most of the mark boost
Upon enter, Mark all enemiess to deal 30% more DMG on them

Roku (Rose)
Limited/Exclusive
5-Target
• The best healer in the game if you have him
• Works amazing for all modes to heal tanks and especially good with units who love heals like Wrath or Greed
At the start of the round, heal all allies for 25% Max HP

Reaper (Christmas)
Mythic
3-Target
• Decent semi AOE DPS with a great farming ability to burst down enemies with Roku Blue as a combo
• Similar to Destruction but I think they don't work well together due to a bug
On battle start, reduce all enemy max health by 20%

White Lotus (Christmas)
Mythic
Single-Target
• Much higher chance for the CC effect than Anti Hero and easier to activate than the regular White Lotus
• Plus, the Freeze comes with some extra damage so this version is way better
50% chance to freeze an enemy 1 turn
and apply 2 layers of Frostbite (80% panel damage)

A-Tier Supports

A Tank Ranking Reason Ability

Gun Demon
Lord
Full AOE
• S-Tier with Demon Pieces to treat all units as Demons

• First off Gun Demon by itself is pretty good with Full AOE but the reason I put him in A instead of S is the condition
• You have to run other Demon units for the passive to do anything and the second part of passive only works once GD dies
• That's so many conditions, especially because not all Demon units are Meta
• Still, it's a really strong support unit that deals decent damage by itself so you should definitely try out a Demon team comp
• Much stronger than the Sin comp with Lust since Demon units are all better than Sin units

Increase all Demon unit stats by 20%
Repeat once Gun Demon dies

Angel Demon
Immortal
Single-target
• The effect is really powerful but you do need a healer for it to be effective because if AD gets focused it dies really fast
• That said it's a ton of DPS boosting in Raid and farming
Each attack consumes 30% of this unit's HP
Then the attack gets a 200% increase of the consumed amount

Anti Hero
Mythic
Single-Target
• A better version of Sloth that stuns more often and can really come in clutch in any game mode
• That said the stun is still unreliable as it's only every 3rd attack on average so he's A-Tier instead of S
• If you get lucky he can be S-Tier though
35% chance to stun a target on attack

White Lotus (Haze)
Mythic
Single-Target
• A decent support but the ability is a bit unreliable since you can't do it at will and must get this unit killed to benefit from it
• Quite situational
Upon death Freeze 4 random enemies

B-Tier Supports

B Support Ranking Reason Ability

The Hand
Mythic
Single-Target
• Works like Reaper (Christmas)'s new passive but focuses on a single enemy which is decent if you hit bosses
• Reaper (Christmas) is still better for AOE farming though
Damage from attacks will reduce the enemy's maximum HP by the same amount

Gojin
Mythic
Single-Target
• A great alternative support option to keep your tanks and primary DPS alive for longer Upon enter, debuff all enemies to deal -25% less Damage

Gluttony
Exclusive/Limited
Single-Target
• Can be quite powerful in a full Sin team but this is incredibly situational
• That said, even in a full Sin team, while Pride is good, Wrath isn't the best main DPS without a healing support
• Greed also requires a healer to be good
• Gluttony can carry you in story but I would much rather have Silent Bloom as support instead of Sloth for Raids and late-game content
Buff all Seven Deadly Sins units
Wrath, Lust, Envy, Sloth, Pride, Greed

Soul Guardian
Legendary
Single-Target
• A decent heal option if you don't have Roku Rose
• That said, the healing is unreliable so this unit isn't the best to bring
20% to heal all teammates by 10%

Sloth
Mythic
2-Target
• Similar to Soul Guardian where Sloth can be really strong but the proc chance is so low that you might not get value as often
• Still a stun is one of the most powerful debuffs in the game once you activate it
10% to stun and apply a Mark on each attack

Best Team, Traits & Relics in Anime Story

In general the best team in Anime Story is Roku EVO and Mazara EVO along with Silent Bloom EVO and Lust for DPS support and then a filler slot based on your needs like a Tank, one more DPS or one more Support. I'll show you some variations of the best teams in the table below for various game modes. I'll include the best unit (Core/must-have) for that mode and a few units you can use to support the main one. Feel free to fill out the rest of the slots with your favorite Secrets and Mythics.

Put Monarch trait and Baseball relic on pretty much all units for the best results

New Best Infinite: Run Vampire with Monarch and Flame Sword and Silent Bloom as support which will get you to around Wave 35 on Snow Village Infinite for farming purposes.

  • Best Story Units: Reaper (Christmas), Destruction, Lust, Silent Bloom (Kageyoshi)
  • Best Tower Units: Roku (Ultra), Mazara (Susanoo), Lust+Silent Bloom, White Lotus (Haze)
  • Best Portals Units: Bald, Roku (Rose), Lust+Silent Bloom, Dominate
  • Best Raid Units: Bald, Roku (Ultra/Blue), Silent Bloom (Kageyoshi), Reaper (Christmas), Angle Demon
  • Best Infinite Units (Rerolls): Vampire, Silent Bloom (Kageyoshi), Mazara (Susanoo)
  • Best Trait: Monarch on all units, Deadeye/Ethereal if you cannot get Monarch, Solar for Tanks.
  • Best Items: For Chainsaw man units go for their specific Weapons and go for the highest damage boosting relic you can find like Baseball Bat (W10S7)/Katana (W6S7)/Candy (W10S7 or W9S7)

That's it for my Anime Story tier list and guide. Check out our Anime Story codes for more.

Mio Memories in Orbit

MIO: Memories in Orbit will be released soon in January, and it could be the next hit for Metroidvania fans.

Developed by Douze Dixiemes, MIO: Memories in Orbit will launch on PC and console. This countdown will help you keep track of the upcoming launch so that you can jump in from minute one.

MIO: Memories in Orbit release countdown

MIO: Memories in Orbit will go live on Jan. 20 across all platforms. The release date was announced previously by Focus Entertainment. The following countdown will expire once the game goes live.

[hurrytimer id="1167443"]

The countdown is based on the following times.

  • 8am PT
  • 10am CT
  • 11am ET
  • 4pm UTC
  • 5pm CET

While MIO: Memories in Orbit will also be available on consoles, there's no New Zealand trick with this one. This trick involves changing the local time zone of your console or using a New Zealand-based account to get in earlier. The game will release on consoles and PC at the same time, however.

As of writing, you can pre-order MIO: Memories in Orbit on both PC and console. Only one edition is available, so everyone begins playing at the same time. You play as MIO and guide it across the Vessel.

You'll have to discover the true purpose of your ship as it's about to shut down. Interact with the environment to learn more about what happened, and prepare for occasional dangers on the failing ship. With numerous puzzles to decode, enemies to defeat, and platforms to scale, MIO: Memories in Orbit could be your next big game to play in the first month of the new year.

complete rogue piece tier list of everything in the game

Updated on January 19, 2026: Added everything that was missing up until January 19.

I'm ranking all Swords, Combat Specs, Fruits, Races and Traits in Rogue Piece so that you can make the best build. This tier list will also include equipment tips for all categories as well as how to get everything. Here's my ultimate early-mid-late PVP/PVE Rogue Piece tier list for everything in the game.

Rogue Piece Combat Spec and Fruit Tier List

rogue piece combat spec tier list

Both Combat Specs and Fruits scale with the Power stat in Rogue Piece (RIP Strength stat). On average, Combat Specs tend to be equal to swords. Fruits are weaker than swords with Light (the strongest fruit) being comparable to B-Tier swords (See above). Let's analyze them individually.

Spec & Fruit Tip: These go best with the Power boosting outfits like Aizen's Outfit/Akaza Beads/Garou's Outfit/Shadow Cloak and Demon race for the most Power damage possible. Also get the Soul Spirit Relic for more Power damage which is a rare drop from Chests and a 20% Enchant.

SSS-Tier Specs & Fruits

SSS-Tier Why SSS-Tier? Location

Gojo & Sukuna
Shibuya Versions
• Classic example of Rogue Piece power creep where new specs/swords usually tend to overshadow the older ones
• Except this time they're just drastically better versions of the old Gojo and Sukuna specs
• After a few test runs with Power boosting gear and Ancient Traits these two are the highest DPS movesets in the entire game right now
• Run The Strongest History Title from Sukuna Shibuya boss and The Strongest Today title from Gojo Shibuya to boost these specs even further
Throne Isle

Gojo (Shibuya)
Craft the Limitless Tear using ingredients dropped from
the Gojo Shibuya boss at Throne Isle
Then use the item while having base Gojo spec equipped

Sukuna (Shibuya)
Farm Sukuna Shibuya boss at Throne Isle for 20 True Sukuna's Fingers
Use 20 True Sukuna's Fingers while having base Sukuna spec equipped

Naoya
• While weaker than the new Shibuya specs Naoya already deals top 5 DPS in terms of combat specs
• It's got really fast M1s with great mobility from Z so it's pretty good in PVP
• X is pretty slow but you do get two cutscene moves with C and V for massive damage
Rate-Up Banner
Get from the banner as a 1% drop chance when it's Naoya's banner

Jin Mori
• High damage skills and AOE M1s, nuke grabs and great air mobility with C make this one of the best specs in the game
• DPS is on par with Meta swords and it competes with Shadow and Qin Shi for the highest DPS
• Get Heaven's Equal title from the Jin Mori boss on Abyss Hill for a 20% boost
Abyss Hill
Purchase from Jin Mori Teacher
With materials you get as drops from Jin Mori, Heaven's Equal
Boss on Abyss Hill
• Amazing DPS and utility with the variants, switch and block
• Ton of move variety that can potentially have the highest sustained DPS in the game while Jin Mori does good burst damage
• DPS is on par with Jin Mori and competes decently with all the Meta Swords
• Get King of All Beginnings title from the Qin Shi Huang boss for a 20% boost
(Spawns during wave 10 of the new Ragnarok Dungeon)
Throne Isle
Qin Shi Teacher Quest
Requires 10 Dungeon Tokens
1 Sword of Goujian
10 Alvitr's Fragment
Having at least Diamond Rank to accept the quest

Todoroki
• Todoroki has some of the best combo potential for PVP though it's good for PVE too
• All the moves chain really well together and most have low CDs
• This means that you don't have the best burst damage but have impressive damage-per-second
• Overall a really good combat spec that requires a similar combo style gameplay like Qin Shi
Throne Island
Token Exchange

Kaneki
• Currently one of the best combat specs in the game
• Kaneki has the best M1s among combat specs that are fast, have good range and deal the best damage
• Z is mostly for PVE but X and C cover massive AOEs so they're good for both PVE and PVP
• Plus they deal massive damage when you full channel X and hit V on bosses or players
• Get One Eyed King title from the Kaneki Boss for a 20% damage boost
Sandora Island
Buy from Kaneki Teacher using materials you farm from Kaneki Boss
Farm Kaneki Boss on Abyss Hill
Spawn Kaneki boss using Kaneki's Blood from crafting

S-Tier Specs & Fruits

S-Tier Why S-Tier? Location

Shadow
• Shadow moves are so easy to hit and deal a ton of damage
• It's still one of the best moveset in the entire game since Z and C are fast and excellent for PVP
• X is a bit slow but is great for PVE
• Finally the V is massive AOE damage that is good for both PVP and PVE
• Overall Shadow does so much damage that you cannot go wrong with it and the Abyssbreaker damage buff on C is just a cherry on top
Rogue Town
Buy from Shadow Teacher
1x Core of Shadow
2x Shadow Eye
1x Atomic Core
100x Black Slime
All drops from the Shadow boss on Abyss Hill

One For All
• Both One For All and Shigaraki deal really good DPS but I feel like they're a bit slow for PVP
• Z has a delayed startup, X is slow to drop and only C and F are any good to hit a player
• That said OFA excels in PVE dealing massive damage with V active since it buffs all your moves
• Overall, I would use this to grind late-game content but I need to do more fights for PVP for testing since I don't really like it against players so far
• Once you unlock V and F it deals more PVE damage than Shigaraki but Shigaraki might be better for PVP
Rogue Town
One For All Teacher NPC
Finish all quests to get it
To start the quests you need 10,000 Gems and Diamond+ Rank then talk

For Unlocking V and F
Finish all quests from Full Cowl NPC at Rogue Town

Gojo
• Gojo doesn't have as much DPS as Garou but it has a lot of stuns and iFrames thanks to the domain expansion on V
• It's one of the best PVP specs in the game and excellent for completing the Garou quest
• That said it's also good by itself for PVP/PVE
Jujutsu Highschool
Get from Gojo NPC with materials from the Gojo Boss
You also need The Honored One trait

Aizen
•Aizen overall does more burst damage with his moves than Sukuna but the CDs are longer
• Still it's some of the highest damage in the game so you'll have no trouble with bosses, PVE farming and PVP
• Your range is lower than Sukuna but you have a mobility teleport multi-hit move
• Plus, the black coffin is massive AOE damage
• IMO Gojo is better due to iFrames and Stuns and Garou deals more damage so it goes Garou>Gojo>Aizen

Defeat 10 Aizen Boss for a damage boost Title

Huecomundo
Aizen Teacher

A-Tier Specs & Fruits

A-Tier Why A-Tier? Location

Garou
• Fast M1s and a ton of multi-hit attacks for the highest PVP and PVE DPS
• There's also great utility here with X i-Frames and two cutscenes with C and V for dodging damage
• C and V deal some of the highest damage in the entire game and this gets boosted even further once you get the Garou Outfit and Soul Spirit Relic
• Easily outdamages Akaza and Sukuna

Get the Hero Hunter Title for 20% more damage
Kill Silver Fang Boss 10 times

Glacier Isle
Get Suiryu from the Garou NPC
+Complete quest
Defeat 25 Diamond Rank Players
Punch 2500 times with Suiryu
Then farm Silver Fang Boss on GI for Book of Mastery
Finally use Book of Mastery after Quest with Suiryu equipped

Shigaraki
• Similar to OFA where it's excellent damage but slow for PVP due to slow M1s, a start-up on Z and a C grab that can be difficult to hit
• That said if you hit these moves you'll deal massive burst damage
• V does massive AOE damage though and pulls Shigaraki ahead of OFA for PVP IMO since it's easy to hit
• It also has an edge over OFA because the Destroyer title buffs it by 20%

Title is a 2.5% Drop from Shigaraki Boss

Rogue Town
Shigaraki NPC
Farm the three Shigaraki Boss resources to buy it
The boss spawns using Darkness Spirit at Rogue Town
Get Darkness Spirit from crafting

Sukuna
• Sukuna has lower burst damage than the ones above but it has better combos
• The light combos with Sukuna are some of the best in the game since the M1 is so good and has range
• Plus you get good range on all of your abilities, they're fast and have lower CD than Aizen
• You have amazing AOE and damage for PVE farming and the moves can be pretty good in PVP too
• You also get a nice damage boost

Defeat 10 Sukuna Boss for a damage boost title

Windmill Village
Sukuna Teacher
On a hill

Akaza
• Akaza has some of the best M1s in terms of combat specs and overall his moves deal really good damage
• Plus they are all low cooldown so the DPS stacks up quite fast
• That said the range is low so you'll struggle a bit in PVP if you don't have good movement or you get kited
• That's why I prefer Aizen or Sukuna but don't get me wrong, Akaza is still the top 3 DPS option in the game

Defeat 10 Akaza Boss for a damage boost title

Throne Isle
Akaza Teacher

B-Tier Specs & Fruits

B-Tier Why B-Tier? Location

Light
• The best Fruit/Power in the game both in terms of DPS and mobility (The combat specs and most swords are still better)
• You get really good AOE DPS moves to complement Combat Specs
• You also have the best mobility move in the entire game with F allowing you to both move fast and reposition in PVP
• It's got worse DPS than Combat Specs and Swords but it's still a good backup to have when your Spec skills are on CD
Rogue Town
Fruit Gacha NPC
2% chance to drop

C-Tier Specs & Fruits

C-Tier Why C-Tier? Location

Blood
Power
Scales With Power
• Light is better but Blood is still a great alternative for PVE farming
• It's better than Gravity in terms of DPS for bosses even though Gravity has better range and AOE
• You also get a movement skill similar to Light with F but slower
Rogue Town
Fruit Gacha NPC
5% chance to drop

Sandevistan
• The Sandevistan is by far the worst combat spec but when compared to other Powers/Swords it's similar to Tanjiro's Sword
• You get more moves than Swords but they are all a bit slow and deal low DPS
• This can be good mid game for farming but I would overall just farm towards any of the other Combat Specs
• For example, the speed boost is cool but Akaza gets almost 3 times better speed on the final move and much higher DPS
• Sandevistan needs a buff badly
Rogue Town
David NPC
He's at the back of the island on a hill next to the water

Gravity
• Overall Gravity does have good AOE and range but the DPS is simply worse than Blood and Light
• So there's not much point using it other than early game farming if you get lucky and get it
Rogue Town
Fruit Gacha NPC
5% chance to drop

D-Tier Specs & Fruits

D-Tier Why D-Tier? Location

Quake
• Quake is better than Bomb but it's still not the best since your moves are slow and don't deal that much damage
• The only good thing is C which is a massive AOE for PVE farming but only for mobs and not bosses and it's on an incredibly high CD
• Just use Blood or Light
Rogue Town
Fruit Gacha NPC
30% chance to drop

Bomb
• Never use this
• Just use Swords to farm either better Fruits or Combat Specs if you want to build Power and then respec
Rogue Town
Fruit Gacha NPC
50% chance to drop

Rogue Piece Sword Tier List

rogue piece sword tier list

This Rogue Piece sword tier list focuses on both how good the moveset is and overall DPS. The higher tiers will usually be the best options for PVE bosses and PVP. That said, note that lower-tier swords like Wado or Gryphon are still really useful for PVE grinding. Also, Metal Bat and Tanjiro are in the same tier as Epics and Rares because while they have much better DPS, their movesets are slow and awkward. Let's analyze each sword individually below.

Swords Tip: Swords go best with Sword-boosting outfits like Reaper Clothes/Yuta's Outfit/Vampire Suit/Butterfly/Herta, Arrancar race for max Sword stat boost, and their respective Titles that boost individual swords. Also get the Broken Edge Relic for more Sword damage as a rare drop from chests and the Blessed Stone for sword damage from the Gojo boss.

SSS-Tier Swords

S-Tier Why S-Tier? Location

Anti-Magic Sword
• Currently the top 2 DPS sword in the game along with Divine Bident
• Massive AOE damage on all moves and decently fast
• The V mode gives you even more AOE, damage and range making it the best PVP weapon in the game against groups
• Always try to maximize the amount of moves you can get out of the V mode for max DPS
• Also some of the best DPS in the game overall outdamaged only by the new Shibuya specs
Anti-Magic Dungeon
Use the Anti-Magic Sword
This is a drop from the two Asta bosses in the Anti-Magic Dungeon
Also use Anti Magic Grimoire for all skills
You need 5 which are drops from Asta, Half Demon form
Base Astra spawns Wave 5
Asta Half Demon spawns Wave 10

Divine Bident
• Divine Bident deals DPS on the same level as Anti Magic Sword but comes with less AOE and more mobility
• Both Z and C are jumps which are good PVP tools for both 1v1 and group battles
• X is better for PVE since it locks you in one place but deals massive damage
• Lastly the V is your highest damage move for boss killing
• Top 2 DPS for Swords and top 5 DPS overall outdamaged by Shibuya combat specs
Ragnarok Dungeon
Drop from Hades boss on Wave 5
You can also exchange 200 Dungeon Tokens for Divine Bident

Venuzdonoa
• One of the best DPS swords in the game (damage calculations done with Ancient Spirit and Ancient One)
• Z and C are your fast low CD moves that can pull off 600k to 800k damage
• X and V are more for PVE since they're slower dealing 1 million to 1.4 million damage which is currently the highest in the game
• That said if you land X or V in PVP it's pretty much game over if they don't have Ancient One for defense
• Best combined with the Butterfly suit or Solemn Outfit and Demon King of Tyranny

Get the title from Anos boss or Venuzdonoa Banner for a 20% damage boost

Roll on the Venuzdonoa Banner with a 1% chance drop
Get Crimson Blood from Anos boss for spins

Solemn Lament
• Overall a very strong and fast weapon
• Solemn Lament deals fast burst damage with amazing M1s that have good AOE and range
• You can pull off about 600k with Z which is a really good PVP move along with C at 310k because they come out fast
• The X charge is good for PVE but deals lower damage than I expected but the V has a nice 750k burst with Ancient
Sandora Island
Get from the Butterfly Gacha at 1% chance drop

S-Tier Swords

S-Tier Why S-Tier? Location

Kafka's Katana
• Fast M1s combined with DPS that goes over 4 million with all moves similar to Venuzdonoa make this one of the two best weapons in-game
• That said, Kafka is really hard to get and Venuzdonoa is still better due to easier obtainment and because Kafka doesn't have a Title
• Still, Kafka annihilates bosses with high damage moves
• Z comes out really fast and is good for PVP while X and C are boss killers
• V is good for everything since it's easy to land due to the massive AOE and damage
Xmas Island
Complete Kafka's Katana Seller's Quest
Quest 1 / Kill 10 Players with 50,000+ Reputation
Quest 2 / Kill 10 Players with 100,000+ Reputation
Then buy using materials dropped from Kafka Boss on Abyss Hills

Herta's Hammer
• Easily on the upper end of weapons in the game dealing 3 to 4 million damage with all moves on bosses
• M1s are so slow which is bad but in return the moves deal a lot of damage
• It's more of a PVE boss killer weapon since the moves keep you in one position and are easily dodged by players so it's not for PVP that much
• Still if you can catch players in a full channel of X and C it can deal a ton of damage

Get #83 of The Genius Society for 20% damage boost on Herta as a 10% drop from the Herta boss
The Herta Boss spawns from Herta's Summon on Xmas Island after killing 100 Snow Brawlers

Xmas Island
Either purchase it at the Snowflake Exchange NPC for 125.000 Snowflakes
Or
There is an extremely low chance to get it from Xmas Chests

Dual Daggers
• SJW doesn't have the best DPS in the game anymore but it's still one of the best PVP swords in the game and great for PVE too
• This is because of fast M1s and great mobility and iFrames
• SJW Daggers give you a lot of flexibility since you have great burst/sustained damage and invincibility
• X is such a great move for PVP to get better mobility
• You can easily solo bosses with these just make sure you have the recommended loadout above

Defeat 10 Sung Jin Woo Boss for a damage boost Title

Rogue Town
Dual Dagger Seller

Abyssbreaker
• Abyssbreaker has high DPS worthy of the S-Tier but I've found myself liking it more for PVE
• The M1s are slow for PVP but you can still use it for PVP since it has high AOE burst damage
• That said it shines in PVE due to the C move which is a massive damage buff
• Always start with C and then your V and X moves that deal damage around you will nuke bosses and other players
• There's not Title for this sword yet which sucks but it's still S-Tier
Abyss Hill Island
0.5% drop from the Abyssal Beast boss

A-Tier Swords

A-Tier Why A-Tier? Location

Yuta's Katana
• Requires a lot of grinding due to the low chance Rika's Ring drop from the Yuta boss
• It's not the most worthwhile to get since the damage is lower than most Legendary swords at around 2.7 million with all moves
• That said, the M1s are fast and the C and V cutscene moves deal massive damage if you can land them
• Z and X are fast for mix ups so overall you have both a really good PVP and also a great PVE option with high damage

Defeat 20 Yuta Boss for the Title that boosts Yuta's Katana damage

Jujutsu Highschool
Get Spiritual Katana from Yuta
Then grind Yuta Boss until you get the Rika's Ring 1%
+Complete Yuta's quest (Defeat 100 Bosses using SK)
Then use it while having Spiritual Katana

Tensa Zangetsu
• Zangetsu has finally been buffed with a V2 version and it's now A+/S-
• Not the best M1s in the game but the skill damage is massive
• It's basically like Abyssbreaker where it's better for PVE than PVP but it deals really good DPS, get the title for optimal numbers
• Z and X are really fast and easy to hit and good for PVP
• C and V deal massive damage similar to Yuta's Katana so they're amazing for PVE and PVP if you can land htem

Kill 10 Arrancar users for the Tensa title for a 20% damage boost

Huecomundo
From Tensa Zangetsu Seller
Pay all the requirements including Zangetsu base
+ Defeat the Zangetsu Boss (You must be the one to spawn him)

Hellsing Dual Pistol
• The Pistols got power-crept by all the V2 swords and some of the newer weapons but they're still good
• They're a PVE powerhouse since all the moves deal great damage to bosses
• I probably wouldn't use them as much in PVE since most moves have a slow frontal start-up but you'll melt bosses
Spooky Island
Purchase For 25,000 Candy at the Candy Exchanger

Wado
• Wado and Zangetsu V1 are purely PVE farming weapons
• A more powerful alternative to Gryphon and Dark Blade for PVE farming but has slow M1s
• The moves come out faster and deal better DPS, plus you're not locked in place with the X move so it's slightly better for PVP
• One of the best mid-game weapons for farming but not for late game bosses
Jujutsu Highschool
Purchase For $1,000,000 at the Wado Seller

Zangetsu
• Like Wado but with more moves
• Great AOE damage and range for PVE farming and great for bosses mid-game
• The moves are a bit slow for PVP though
• Basically this is just here so you can get Tensa Zangetsu
Rogue Town
Zangetsu Gacha NPC

B-Tier Swords

B-Tier Why B-Tier? Location

Metal Bat
• Got a buff but still can't compare to the S-Tiers due to slower M1s and lower DPS
• That said the DPS is still A-Tier respectable from V and C mainly but the bad moveset keeps it away from A-Tier
• Z and X are good for mob farming while V and C are good for bosses
• Okay for PVP but not the best option
Starter Island
Complete Metal Bat's quest
Take 5 million damage
Deal 10 million damage

Tanjiro's Nichirin
• Tanjiro's sword has more moves than Dark Blade and Gryphon for more DPS but they are slower and more awkward to land
• Still if you manage to pull out the entire rotation including the cutscene you are dealing more DPS
• But in practice Dark Blade and Gryphon are better because they are faster, especially in PVP
• So overall Tanjiro can sometimes be better for bosses but I wouldn't really get it since Dark Blade/Gryph are better mid-game and Tensa Zangetsu/Yuta/SJW are better late-game
Forge Isle
Tanjiro's Seller

C-Tier Swords

C-Tier Why C-Tier? Location

Gryphon
• Gryphon and Dark Blade were one of my favorite weapons for fast farming early to mid-game
• That said both get overshadowed later DPS-wise even though they have faster and smoother moves than Metal Bat and Tanjiro's Sword
• Z can deal a fast burst of damage with good Sword Stats and deals more damage than Dark Blade/Yoru Z
• X has longer iFrames than Dark Blade X
• Great for early to mid PVP due to speed
Whispering Jungle
Just walk straight ahead from the mob Quest NPC

Dark Blade
• I'm comparing it to Gryphon and it deals lower damage than G's Z but higher damage with X though the iFrames are shorter
• The iFrames are really good to exploit in PVP but overall Dark Blade is just a little bit worse end-game than Gryphon so I put it in C
• Dark Blade is still the best weapon to rush early to mid-game for farming but everything outdamages it later
Glacier Ice
On the little ice hill next to Mihawk's Quest NPC

D-Tier Swords

D-Tier Why D-Tier? Location

Dual Katana
Sword
Scales With Sword
• The best early game farming tool for PVE that you should rush ASAP
• Swords are the best farming tools in general and this is the first one you should get after Katana
• It's really easy to get if you claim all the codes and farm a little
• That said it gets out-DPS-ed by all swords later on
Sandora Island/Desert Island
Between the houses and the tower near the island's port

Katana
Sword
Scales With Sword
• The first Sword you'll get and what you'll use to farm for Dual Katana
• Everyone should start with a Katana to farm other stuff really fast and then you can respec later if you want to use Power-scaling stuff
Starting Island
Near where you originally spawn

Rogue Piece Race Tier List

rogue piece race tier list

The best race in Rogue Piece goes a long way to boost your DPS based on your build. You get them from Race Rerolls and for some like the Demon race you can use specific items like Muzan's Blood. The three races in S-Tier are almost equal depending on whether you're going for a Sword stat build or a Power stat build. A-Tiers are good alternatives and B-Tier are situational picks that can be good but underpowered. C-Tier are weak but good for beginners and D are pretty much useless.

How to Get Race Rerolls: You get them from Codes, by opening Chests and from Fishing. You can get a Fishing rod from the NPC at the starting island's docks and just AFK Fish to farm Race Rerolls (See below for recommended early-mid and late-game races).

S-Tier Races

S-Tier Races Why S-Tier Race Stats

Cursed Spirit
• Requirement for the Gojo spec
• You have to kill so many bosses to reach the 1.5x damage buff each time you log in or die so it can be tedious
• That said the damage buff is massive and it has no downside once stacked unlike Demon and Arrancar
• Overall the most powerful race but comes with a huge tedious farming requirement
• If you don't want to deal with that just go for Demon for Power and Arrancar for Sword builds
• Get a 0.02x damage boost each time you kill a boss stacking up to 1.5x as the cap
• Reseting your character, leaving the game or dying resets the stacks
• Sukuna's Finger also have chance to give you this race which are a drop from the Sukuna Boss on Throne Isle

Demon
• Demon and Arrancar are about even with Demon being for Power stat builds and Arrancar being for Sword stat builds
• That said Demon has an edge for two reasons
First: Because Combat Specs like Sukuna and Aizen scale with Power and they have the best DPS in the game
Second: If you're a Demon fighting an Arrancar, Arrancar take 25% more damage from your Power stat attacks
• This means that you'll be nuking Arrancar players and overall other races with Demon if you have A Power and Sukuna/Aizen
• So in short, Demon is the best race in the game even with the 2% instant-death chance
• Gains +25% HP
• +25% Power stat damage multiplier
• If your HP is below 25%, you have a 2% chance to instantly die

• You can use the Muzan's Blood item dropped from the Akaza Boss spawned on Throne Isle via the Boss Summoner NPC for a low chance to get this race

Arrancar
• The counterpart of Demon but for Sword builds
• The best part about this race besides the Sword damage boost are the dash iFrames
• You get a 0.3 iFrame per dash which can be really strong to avoid some AOE moves
• That said your downside is really bad against Power attacks
• Still it's the best race in the game for Sword builds
• Flash Step: Your dashes have slight iFrames
• Higher defense
• +25% Sword stat damage multiplier
• You take +25% more damage from Power stat attacks

• You can use the Hogyoku item dropped from the Aizen Boss on Huecomundo for a low chance to get this race

A-Tier Races

A-Tier Races Why A-Tier Race Stats

Half Demon
• Weaker overall bonus than the S-Tier races but more balanced and less volatile
• The defensive bonus goes a long way since the top DPS currently is from the Power-scaling Shibuya specs
• The most powerful race after Cursed Spirit, Demon and Arrancar
• Chance to get this race from using Demonite Fragment
(Drops from Asta Half Demon on Wave 10 on Anti Magic Dungeon)
• Reduce damage taken from Power stat (Specs and Fruits)
• Increase Sword damage

Ghoul
• Ghoul is just straight up a better version of Dracula because you get higher lifesteal and it's always on
• This allows you to always be prepared for PVP and PVE so that you can out-tank the damage by constantly healing
• Overall dealing more damage is always better than tanking more damage so Ghoul is A-Tier since S-Tiers all boost damage a lot
• Get 25% global lifesteal that's always on unlike the Dracula race

• A 25% chance to get this race from Ghoul Eyes dropped from Kaneki Boss at Abyss Hill

Dracula
• Worse version of Ghoul
• Half of the time it can be really powerful for PVP and PVE tanking
• Plus you get a nice little damage boost with the Burn
• That said half of the time (during day) you have no race so play around nighttime
• Demon/Arrancar are still better overall and Ghoul Lifesteal works all the time
• The burn effect is not worth it over Ghoul since Dracula doesn't work half of the time
• Gain 20% Lifesteal healing you based on the damage you deal
• Get Burn damage on attacks
Both of these effects only work at night
• Alucard Blood also has a chance to give you this race which are a drop from the Alucard Boss

Celestial Dragon
• Get this race ASAP in the early and mid-game so that you can farm faster towards late game
• Once you have some high-tier gear from the tier list above, you can go for Demon or Arrancar
• This is the best race in the game early to mid/late for farming
• Gains +25% Gems
• Gain +25% EXP
• Gain +25% Money

B-Tier Races

B-Tier Races Why B-Tier Race Stats

Cyborg
• An okay race to get since the extra HP is useful but this game favors damage more so this is just an alternative to Demon and Arrancar
• That said if you don't like the debuffs, Cyborg is perfect but know that it is weaker overall
• Scales really well with high Defense
• Gains +50% Health

• You can use the Hardware Chip item dropped from the David Boss spawned on Throne Island via the Boss Summoner NPC for a low chance to get this race

C-Tier Races

C-Tier Races Why C-Tier Race Stats

Fishman
• The swimming part is useless since you'll be air-dashing everywhere anyway
• The Defense boost is nice and more useful than all the races below so it's okay if you can't get anything better
• Swims faster and has higher defense

Mink
• Overall useless but can sometimes work in your favor for PVP dodging
• That said it's not worth it and you should get a higher-tier race
• Runs faster and dashes quicker

D-Tier Races

D-Tier Races Why D-Tier Race Stats

Skypiean
• Similar to Mink where it's mostly useless but it can be good in PVP sometimes to dodge attacks or position yourself higher than your opponnet for a move
• That said it's not worth it and you should get a higher-tier race
• Can use air-jump 3 extra times

Human
• No buffs • No buffs

Rogue Piece Trait Tier List

rogue piece trait tier list

The best traits in Rogue Piece are much easier to determine than Swords or Specs since it's just a simple numbers game. That said damage tends to be the best stat to boost as well as cooldown since most of the game is PVE farming and it's better to kill faster than tank more damage. That's why you'll see that some Traits that boost damage or cooldowns better are placed higher. Here's what each Trait does below.

Matriarch in ARC Raiders

The Week 13 Trials in ARC Raiders are now live, and the latest one can be a lot more challenging than what we've had over the last few weeks.

Once again, you'll need to complete five different tasks. All five tasks have to be repeated a few times if you want three stars. This guide will briefly explain everything you need to secure the best rewards.

ARC Raiders Week 13 Trails walkthrough

There are five tasks to complete in Week 13.

  • Damage Queens or Matriarchs
  • Search First Wave Husks
  • Damage flying ARC enemies
  • Deal damage to Shredders
  • Open ARC Probes

Damage Queens or Matriarchs

Embark is really turning up the steam with this task. Damaging the Queen and the Matriarch is no mean feat since they're the two most dangerous enemies. The Matriarch spawns during its own event, while the Queen spawns during the Harvestor event.

The image above shows where you can find the Matriarch on the Dam Battlegrounds map. Unfortunately, you'll need to play in a party if you want to do sufficient damage without getting killed in the process.

Search First Wave Husks

First Wave Husks are the remains of gigantic robots that broke down during the war. They're located on all maps. For simplicity's sake, I have used the Dam Battlegrounds map. If you reach the locations marked on the image above, you should find the required First Wave Husks.

Some of these areas could have ARC enemies, so be careful. Keep an eye out for valuable loot, too, while you're at it.

Damage Flying ARC enemies

The third task is the easiest of all, since you can simply target all the flying ARCs and do damage. Unless you want to hardball the entire task, you should avoid Rocketeers at all costs. However, damaging stronger ARCs will reward you with more XP, so that's something to keep in mind.

Deal damage to Shredders

We had this task in recent weeks, and once again, you might have to travel to Stella Montis. The dark corridors and the locked doors of the map are perfect for encountering a Shredder. To complete the task, you don't need to actually destroy a Shredder.

The Shredder typically does damage in a circular radius, so you need to stay clear. There's a brief charging-up period for its attack, which serves as the best hint. If you're in a party, one member should act as bait while the rest of the team can deal the necessary damage.

Open ARC Probes

ARC Probes in ARC Raiders

ARC Probes are gigantic robots that can be found in random areas. While they're harmless on their own, the probes will make a considerable noise as you try to open them. Looting them can fetch you valuable resources, but the noise may attract unwanted attention.

If you reach a probe that has already been opened, it won't count towards getting the required XP.
