I've been shying away from The Killing Stone because it's a deckbuilding card battler, and we do get a lot of emails about those. The game launches into Steam early access today, so it's time to have a proper gander. Ho now! This is a deckbuilding card battler… set in a mansion somewhere in the Arctic during the 17th century… created by Question Games, developers of 'unfinished game' game The Magic Circle and weird suburbia sim The Blackout Club. Yes, the same Question who were founded by people who worked on Bioshock, Thief and Dishonored.

What's more, The Killing Stone reminds me of Inscryption, in that it appears to be divided between a hellish table-top game and hellish goings-on in the world around that table-top game. To be specific, you're playing that table-top game against a series of demons, with the souls of the cursed Svangård family hanging in the balance.

Far from ushering in a technological golden age, artificial intelligence is giving PC hardware its most trying time in years. As huge, hyper-rich tech companies go about building resource-intensive AI data centres in pursuit of future wealth, the resulting memory chip shortages have detonated consumer-level pricing for RAM modules, graphics cards, SSDs, and even ancient hard drives.

Doubling or tripling street-level outlays without harming sales would, you'd think, make a lot of gaming gear makers – especially their accounting departments – very happy indeed. But as those chips have become a scarce commodity at the supplier level, even the bigger hardware businesses are being squeezed as well, and it shows. Razer can't decide how much their next laptops should cost. Valve are running out of Steam Deck stock and delaying the new Steam Machine. Zotac Korea called the RAM shortage an existential threat. But what of the industry's smaller players – those producers of the niche, the quirky, the retro?

The History Collection: PlayStation Features PS1, PS2, PS4, PS5, PS5

Sony and Takara Tomy announced a new gashapon capsule toy set called The History Collection: PlayStation that features PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, and PS5 console replicas. Each try costs 500円 (~$3.20) and nets a random system. It is immediately available in machines in Japan, but there's no worldwide release set.

How this set works is that each capsule includes a console, a game with case, a controller, and when applicable a memory card. So the PS1 comes with a copy of Arc the Lad, a memory card, and a wired controller that can connect to the system. The lid of the system can open to place the disc inside. The PS2 has Ape Escape 3, a memory card, and a controller. The disc tray opens so the disc can be placed inside. The PS3 has a controller and Everybody's Golf 5. The PS4 has a controller and Gravity Rush 2. Finally, the PS5 has a controller and Astro Bot.

Here's the official image showing all the details about the PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, and PS5 replicas in The History Collection: PlayStation capsule toy set.

While it isn't from the same company or an exact replica of this, Good Smile Company is selling a similar sort of collectible. It announced its set of replicas for its figma figure line. That will be sold everywhere and also includes small recreations of the PSP and Vita handhelds.

The History Collection: PlayStation set of PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, and PS5 console replicas is now available in gashapon capsule machines in Japan. It's unknown if any store will officially sell them worldwide.

New Square Enix Manga and Books Include Final Fantasy Tactics Art Book, My Dress-Up Darling

Square Enix announced some of its new books and manga for 2026, and among them is the art book The Art of Final Fantasy Tactics and two My Dress-Up Darling complements. They are three of nine major announcements tied to different anime properties and games. However, we won't see the two books tied to the Shinichi Fukuda and CloverWorks series until Fall 2026, and the art book won't debut until November 2026.

We already know what we can expect from The Art of Final Fantasy Tactics, as the art book launched in Japan back in October 2025. It's an A4-size tome that is 127 pages long. It covers all versions of the game, with images pulled from the PlayStation original, The War of the Lions PSP and mobile release, and recent The Ivalice Chronicles remaster for the Switch, Switch 2, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. This will also feature art of both jobs and maps in addition to characters and scenes.

As for the My Dress-Up Darling items, there's a spin-off and supplemental material. My Dress-Up Darling Season 2 Official Anime Fanbook is specifically dedicated to the latest season of the anime, which started airing at the end of 2025. That means production materials like concept art and storyboards, as well as insights from members of the Cloverworks team. My Dress-Up Darling XOXO is something of an omake series with shorts featuring characters from the manga in silly and casual situations.

Here's the full list of all the new Square Enix books and manga localizations just confirmed for 2026. Each one includes the launch window and expected price.

  • The Apothecary Diaries: Xiaolan's Story Volume 1 - October 2026 - $12.99.
  • The Art of Final Fantasy Tactics - November 2026 - $27.99.
  • Boyish Girlfriend Volume 1 - September 2026 - $12.99.
  • My Dress-Up Darling Season 2 Official Anime Fanbook - November 2026 - $24.99.
  • My Dress-Up Darling XOXO - October 2026 - $14.99.
  • My Ex-Boyfriend Loves Boys' Love Volume 1 - September 2026 - $14.99.
  • The Princess Groom Volume 1 - August 2026 - $12.99.
  • Stalker Stalks Stalker Volume 1 - October 2026 - $14.99.
  • Yang Can't Live Alone Volume 1 - September 2026 - $12.99.

My Hero Academia: All's Justice Survey Asks for Fan Feedback

Bandai Namco announced it is looking for insights and feedback into the new My Hero Academia: All's Justice fighting game from fans and people who played the game with a new survey. The official site's form involves 27 questions about the title. People can offer their insights until March 4, 2026. There's no reward, like a free wallpaper with characters from the anime and manga, for completing it.

The survey starts simply enough, asking if someone owns the game, which version they got, and which platform they're playing on. It then asks if someone played and how long. After that, it gets into finer details like how satisfied someone was with certain modes and if they'd recommend the title.

The form also asks about My Hero Academia in general. One question asks if someone likes the series. Another asks how long someone's been a fan. There's a question about merchandise as well.

Things close out with some general demographic questions. These ask about familiarity with other Shonen Jump series games and what other genres you enjoy.

As a reminder, My Hero Academia: All's Justice is another 3D arena fighting game along the lines of previous titles like My Hero One's Justice 1 and 2. It covers the whole series right up through the final battle in Story Mode, but there are also elements designed to be less harrowing like the Team Up Mission with characters training in a "virtual space," opportunities to take on challenges while seeing characters in quieter moments or go into traditional versus style matches.

My Hero Academia: All's Justice is available on the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and the survey asking for fan feedback and thoughts on the fighting game is live until March 4, 2026. The anime is streaming on Crunchyroll, and the manga is available via Viz Media.

.hack Character Plush Merchandise Returns

Following CyberConnect2 announcing the return of the .hack series with a new game, it also brought back character merchandise from games and anime adaptations in the form of plush toys. While there's only a Japanese storefront, the company's official store ships worldwide with WorldShopping. These are 5,940円 (~$38.50), and already half of them sold out again.

The collection is focused on different .hack series plush of main characters. .hack//G.U.'s Haseo, .hack//Infection's Kite, .hack//Link's Tokio, and .hack//Sign's Tsukasa are all represented. However, due to their popularity, Haseo and Kite are already shown as sold out. Each of them are almost 10 inches tall (250mm), but some might look a little taller than others due to things like their hairstyles. (So Tokio looks like he's tallest.) Each of them tends to be based on their in-WORLD appearance. As a reminder, Haseo is an Adept Rogue, Kite is a Twin Blade, Tokio is a Dual Edge, and Tsukasa is a Wavemaster.

Here's how all the plush look. Two of the photos CyberConnect2 shared show them with a person, so we can get a better sense of scale.

The new .hack game is called .hack//Zero, and it will be a JRPG with adventure elements. Both the real-world and WORLD experiences will be highlighted in it. The initial teaser trailer seemed to show characters who resembled Kite and BlackRose (or maybe even Rena and Shugo).

The .hack series plush of hero characters like Haseo, Kite, Tokio, and Tsukasa are back in Japan and can be shipped worldwide, but are selling out fast.

Lui Hawkeye - Code Geass personification of Hololive Takane Lui - coming to Super Robot Wars SRW DD in late March 2026

Bandai Namco has confirmed a release timeframe for the addition of Lui Hawkeye and her Vincent Hawk Knightmare Frame at the February 2026 Super Robot Wars DD livestream. The Code Geass personification of the Hololive Vtuber Takane Lui will officially appear in the crossover mobile game in late March 2026.

Sunrise first teased the crossover in December 2025. This collaboration is being made to mark the appointment of Takane Lui as an official Code Geass ambassador. A new short story starring Lui Hawkeye will also be available simultaneously for a limited time.

Lui Hawkeye is not the only new content revealed for the mobile game's 6.5th anniversary. Bandai Namco will first add a new main story episode starring the Bang Bravern from Brave Bang Bravern! on February 20, 2026, followed by a new Conquest Battle season that rewards the Possessed Cybuster from SRW OG Saga Masou Kishin II: Revelation of Evil God on March 25, 2026. Around the same timeframe as Lui's addition in late March 2026, the company will also add a permanent SSSS.Dynazenon short story starring Gauma's Dynazenon unit.

Bandai Namco has been infamously known for taking down its official Super Robot Wars DD trailers on YouTube after a short while, but a more preservable compilation of the new reveals is available courtesy of the YouTube user D180223. Lui Hawkeye's combat segment with the Hawk Thrust attack is available to view in this video from the 0:49 mark. However, Bandai Namco has also noted that while Lui's segment is still not voiced yet, it intends to have her voice recording completed by her release in late March 2026.

Super Robot Wars DD is available as a free-to-play game for Android and iOS in Japan and East Asia. The new crossover event starring Takane Lui's Code Geass character Lui Hawkeye will run in late March 2026.

Review: Tokyo Scramble Is a Major Fumble

You know how sometimes you get so desperate for anything Dino Crisis-like that you end up giving games that are probably going to disappoint you because they are nowhere near that a chance because they seem to maybe involve similar situations? Well, that's why I opted into Tokyo Scramble. I figured a survival-horror puzzle game that's all about surviving encounters with "Zinos" and evading their assaults could maybe scratch that itch or, at the very least, present a goofy challenge. It failed on every front, and by the end I was hate-playing it just in the hopes that maybe the ending would try something interesting. (It doesn't.)

Anne is a teenager on a train when a natural disaster hits. Is it an earthquake? Nope. It's Zinos. Which are like dinosaurs, but also sometimes look like praying mantises, horseshoe crabs, or other creatures instead. Areas are destroyed and buried, and she seems to be all alone. She'll need to use apps on her smart watch, which she names Diana, to do things like blind the beasts, trigger electronic distractions, unlock gates, restore power, and cause other interactions to find a way out from underground.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1XLnTY3uS0

Let's get into why exactly Tokyo Scramble is a bad game. First, the story is terrible rather terrible. It is goofy and campy in a way that could have been fun if it leaned into the B-movie nature in the way Earth Defense Force does. But it isn't so bad that it's somehow good. It's just all bad. It doesn't even look good. Like at a glance, you might be mistaken and think it is fine due to a cinematic segment or being so preoccupied with not making a sound and seeing where you should be going. But if you really look at Anne or Ray's character models or get into like a subway car or safe space where you can see a Zino up close, but duck out of the way to avoid actual danger, you'll notice they don't look great and some textures look poor.

The problem is the characterizations and personalities of absolutely everyone is pretty bad. Anne does not react properly to the situation in any way or at any time. All of her friends don't always seem to care about the fact that Anne is underground and near death, and instead are so self absorbed that they're talking about like infighting, crushes, their band (named Tokyo Scramble, of course) and even maybe being mad at her for something insignificant? (Some don't even believe she's in danger initially!) And instead of Anne reacting in a horrified manner, she's just… chatting sort of like normal? After a few episodes, as the game is broken up into chapter-like stages, Anne's brother Ray comes up and… honestly, I got the impression that he was maybe acting more like a boyfriend than her older sibling? (Did I mention the English voice acting and script are bad?) But at least he seems to grasp how dangerous the situation is and came to help?

As Anne is defenseless and not able to directly use a gun/cars/weapons to deal with Zinos, the main gameplay mechanic in Tokyo Scramble involves one stealth puzzle after another. She can run, briefly, but if her heart rate goes above 150, you're going to be forced to slow down and have a bad time. She can use apps on her phone to occasionally do helpful things to aid in evasion, like flash a Zino to temporarily blind them or cause an electronic item to make noise. However, her smartwatch's battery is limited and you'll only be able to perform a few actions each stage. If Ray shows up, he might be able to kill some Zinos if you run to certain spots. But for the most part, you need to move cautiously, be aware of the audio and visual sound effect cues that show a Zino is aware of you, and try and get through the levels.

This part seems like it should be fun, but it's not! It's incredibly limiting, due to the battery power element, even if you go with the easier difficulty. If a Zino catches you once, you're dead and need to restart. This can be frustrating, because there are no clear indicators of which spots might be "safe" in some situations. Another problem I ran into is the third-person camera view is so close to Anne that you're not going to get a good view of your surroundings and enemies, and there's no real peek-around-corners-or-above-cover mechanic. This is a nuisance when it comes to tracking Zinos and figuring out where you need to go. Because it is very clear where the goal always is, but sometimes not how to get there safely.

I'm going to be frank. Sometimes, I would get so frustrated that I'd flat out run where Anne would need to go instead of dealing with sneaking around. What's worse is that worked way more often than I expected it too. Which made me feel ridiculous that I wasted time trying to do things the "right" way. Because sometimes the NPC Zinos are really stupid and easy to outrun or evade, and other times I'd run into a situation with suddenly brilliant opponents, overwhelming numbers, or some sort of poor level design that would lead to cheap deaths.

Also, the last three episodes are absolutely terrible. Is what I'm about to say a spoiler? Probably, but it's bad and you deserve the warning. There are massive difficulty spikes at this point. The checkpoints aren't great. One is a sort of boss fight situation that involves summoning down pile drivers to actually attack. But the cover is terrible, you're supposed to do a lot of running and evading with multiple Zinos, and it is very easy for Anne's heart rate to skyrocket, forcing you to restart the process because the camera perspective meant you didn't see there was another enemy also nearby. One segment involves constantly running while a bad character model flails behind you, screaming wretchedly, while you need to try and figure out which direction to go and how to dodge its occasional assaults.

All for an ending that sucks. Great job, Anne.

Oh, there's multiplayer too. It's bad! I played it briefly, but nobody had a good time or wanted to play past the first episode. Which is understandable, because each person controls one part of Anne. One person moves her. One person controls the camera. Then the apps and ability to run would be assigned to other people. It can make progression near impossible.

Tokyo Scramble is a mess of a game, and it's not even a situation where it is so bad that some element of it is in some way enjoyable. The story is bad. The script is terrible. The stages can involve areas that are poorly designed or feature massive difficulty spikes. The multiplayer basically makes it impossible to survive. I wasted about five hours on this game that I will never get back.

Tokyo Scramble is available for the Switch 2.

To begin the quest, you'll need to be of Hunter Rank (HR) nine or higher. If you're an absolute beginner, it won't take you too long to reach Level 9. If you're a veteran, head to the base camp at Scarlet Forest. Once you're at the camp, you'll find an NPC named Sole.

Interact with Sole, and he will introduce you to another NPC called Rudy. Rudy will declare that he has dropped a few eggs that you need to retrieve. This will begin the A Royal Request quest.

How to complete A Royal Request in Monster Hunter Wilds

To complete the A Royal Request quest, activate it from the Optional tab. You'll need to deliver four Monstie Eggs within 50 minutes.

You can discover the Eggs in the wild, and you can also find Highly Potent ones. Delivering Highly Potent Eggs will give you better rewards once you complete the quest. While there's no secret way to obtain the eggs, here are a few tips and tricks.

  • You'll need items like Flash Pods to help with the escape. Retrieving the eggs is only one part of the job. You'll also need to escape and bring those eggs back. Items like Dash Juice will also be necessary to restore your stamina.
  • While delivering the eggs, you'll also want to use pop-up camps.
  • Don't forget to use your skills while hunting for the eggs. Certain food items will have different buffs that will help you get timely boosts.

Once you have returned all the eggs, go to Rudy and interact to get special equipment and pendants. This includes the Rudy Alpha costume, Skyscale Ratha Pendants, and more.

People of Note gameplay battle

There are very few things the vast majority of humanity can agree on: food is one of them. We all eat, and we all enjoy good food. And then there's music. We all hear or feel it, and we all enjoy it to some degree.

Everything about the upcoming RPG People of Note is influenced by music and how it brings people together. The names, the gameplay, the storyline, just about everything you could imagine is themed around music or just a fun music pun. The turn-based combat features musical instruments as weapons, and it's even rhythm-based (think Expedition 33-like QTEs when it comes to dealing max damage on attacks) in its very nature.

Durandis location in People of Note
Image via Annapurna Interactive

The game's locations are all themed around music (like Durandis, the city of rock and roll, pictured above), and it's all so incredibly tongue-in-cheek and dripping with whimsy. The game is an ode to the art form of music itself, and "music is the DNA" of the whole game, according to what creative director Jason Wishnov told me in a group interview presentation earlier this month.

People of Note stars a young woman named Cadence, a pop music singer who's out to make a name for herself as a musician and win a contest to earn fame and fortune... but she needs a band. She's eventually joined by a classic rocker named Fret (yes, EVERYTHING is a music pun) on their journey of creating a band that's a mash-up of genres to create something special and new. The group eventually fills out with EDM DJ Synthia and rapper Vox, and they all combine their different music styles to work together throughout People of Note's events.

Exploring Durandis in an early-access hands-on demo, I quickly came to see how this game truly was crafted by bona fide music nerds. There's a shop called 3 Stores Down (a la the band 3 Doors Down), I found an armor piece called Tom Petticoat (no Heartbreakers were found), and even pet an elongated corgi called, you guessed it, an accorgion (like an accordion). And that's just record-scratching the surface.

On their journey, Cadence and crew will visit themed locations and regions for genres like the aforementioned rock, plus EDM, rap, and K-pop, with each region featuring its own fitting battle theme. The combat is classic JRPG style. As Wishnov said, the game is heavily inspired by the likes of Final Fantasy 9 and 10, Chrono Cross, and even The World Ends With You, but it's still musical throughout. The turns are called Stanzas, visually represented at the bottom of the screen during combat so you can plan your attack.

People of Note turn-based combat
Image via Annapurna Interactive

And as mentioned before, the active rhythm-based combat, where you must time a button press with a visual circle closing on itself (this is optional and can be turned off if you so choose), is reminiscent of the hugely popular Expedition 33. But this game has been in development way before last year's game of the year launched.

The combat gameplay is supplemented with puzzles, with several in the demo themed around directing lasers to bounce across a room to reach an endpoint to move on to the next objective, but I think a lot of the fun will be based on combining different abilities and genre mashups to min-max battle success.

Wishnov said that People of Note has been in development for "five to seven years," with a maximum of 15 people working on it at any given time. It definitely has the vibe and feel of a passion project by people who truly love music and everything about it.

The demo I played featured one really cool musical cutscene between Cadence and Fret, but the majority of the dialogue is delivered Hades-style with static animations speaking back and forth, and silent chat bubbles with NPCs you meet around town. The fully 3D animated scenes are meant for special, "emotional climax" moments, but Wishnov said that there are "several" throughout the full experience.

To bring home these important moments, People of Note's voice cast is quite impressive, with some characters having both a voice actor and a singing actor (Cadence's voice is Heather Gonzalez, while her singing is done by an artist named LEXXE, for example), with several notable actors on board. The list includes Jason Charles Miller, Erika Ishii, Debra Wilson, and more.

Image via Annapurna Interactive

The demo I played will be available in Steam Next Fest starting on Feb. 23, so I encourage everyone to try it out if they're a fan of music, JRPGs, or games in general. It launches on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2 on April 7.

Standing by meatball inside lady and tramp's house in disney dreamlight valley

Pluto is waiting to be unblocked somewhere in the village, but to get him, you must navigate through a series of tricky quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley. One of the missions you need to get done is Life's a Meatball.

Since this quest is part of a series of tasks that involve you unraveling a larger mystery, it's one of the tougher missions you'll encounter while playing. If you're struggling to get through it, here's a complete walkthrough for the Life's a Meatball quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to complete Life's a Meatball in Disney Dreamlight Valley (Second Pluto unlock quest)

Letter from merlin about noises in lady and tramp's house in disney dreamlight valley
Screenshot by Destructoid

Open your mailbox

To get this quest started, head to your mailbox to open the "Our Spaghetti Suspicions Thicken!" letter from Merlin. If you don't see this in your inbox, make sure you've unlocked Lady and Tramp, worked through all their Realm quests, and completed The Spaghetti Incident quest. All of these prerequisites must be met for Merlin's letter to arrive.

If it's still missing after you've finished these tasks, try entering and exiting a building or reloading your game to see if it pops up then. Mailbox deliveries are notoriously finicky and unpredictable, so it might take some time for your letter to show up as intended.

Visit Lady and Tramp's house

In his letter, Merlin mentioned hearing some strange noises over at Lady and Tramp's home, so visit their house to see what's going on. As soon as you enter their home after reading the letter, the Life's a Meatball mission officially begins.

Talk to Lady

Inside the house, you'll find a messy giant meatball on the ground near the front door, similar to those you previously encountered during the Lady and the Tramp Realm quest called Meatballs. Approach Lady next to it and chat with her to see what's going on.

Dig out and gather the Magical Meatballs

Lady and Tramp managed to eat some of the meatballs that popped up around their house, but not quite all of them. Equip your Royal Shovel and dig up three Magical Meatballs around their home to assist with cleaning the rest up.

This quest is a bit misleading, as it implies that there are multiple meatballs to find around their home, but there's actually only one. The singular giant Magical Meatball drops three smaller ones for you to pick up so you can progress this mission. Once you have all three, chat with Lady to pass them to her.

Check inside Ursula's house

Lady can smell more meatballs around the valley, so you now need to hunt them all down. First up, she instructs you to visit and check Ursula's house, so head to wherever you have it placed in the village.

Dig out and gather more Magical Meatballs at Ursula's house

Equip your Royal Shovel and get to work clearing away the three massive meatballs in Ursula's house. Just like in Lady and Tramp's house, each one drops a few smaller meatballs for you to collect, so be sure to pick up a total of nine Magical Meatballs as you work through it.

Once you've collected all of the Magical Meatballs, walk over to Lady, who is hanging out close to Ursula, and chat with her. The mess in Ursula's house is now cleaned up, but Lady already smells another one elsewhere, so it's off to the next clean-up mission you go.

Investigate Goofy's house for Magical Meatballs

The next home Lady smells meatballs at is Goofy's, so venture to his house next. Inside, you'll find that even more meatball madness has taken over, so more cleaning is needed.

Dig out and gather more Magical Meatballs at Goofy's house

Equip your Royal Shovel again and clear away the massive meatballs around Goofy's house until you obtain nine more Magical Meatballs. Then, chat with Lady, who is standing with Goofy in the kitchen, to progress.

Investigate Mickey's house for Magical Meatballs

Goofy's house is clear, but he lets you know that Mickey's experiencing the same issue, too. Exit his home and set out for Mickey's house next to find some more meatballs that need to be removed.

Dig out and gather more Magical Meatballs at Mickey's house

Repeat the same process you did over at Lady and Tramp's home, Ursula's house, and Goofy's residence at Mickey's home. You'll find another nine Magical Meatballs by digging away the larger ones with your Royal Shovel. Then, chat with Lady to pass them over to her and initiate a conversation that involves both her and Mickey.

Inspect the Memory in Mickey's house

Once Mickey is done talking in the group conversation, a Memory will drop nearby. Approach and interact with the Memory to reveal the second piece of a three-part image. Talk to Lady after viewing the Memory to officially complete the Life's a Meatball mission.

Completing this quest gets you one step closer to unlocking Pluto. The new piece of the Memory you found is part of a hint that leads to him, so keep working through all required tasks to recruit him, and be sure to unlock all Mementos to prepare for his arrival.

Players interacting with a vendor in NORSE Oath of Blood

NORSE Oath of Blood has some pesky bugs, and one of the most frustrating ones gets triggered during the Iron Will quest.

As reported in the Steam forums, the quest isn't working for anyone as intended. If you can't complete the quest, you won't be able to proceed further with the game. While an official fix is yet to be released, the community has come up with some ways to solve the problem at hand.

NORSE Oath of Blood Iron Will quest fix

The bug in discussion seems to happen in the second part of the Iron Will quest. The first fight of the quest works as intended. Then, some of the enemy units become friendly, and this prevents you from killing them. Unless you kill them, you can't proceed with completing the mission.

Here are a few solutions that can potentially work. The exact fix appears to differ, so try them all until you find something that works out for you.

Player attacking an enemy in Norse Oath of Blood
Image via Tripwire

  • Usually, saving the game and reloading it should fix most bugs in the game. While you could lost bit of progress, the bug should be fixed. This is the easiest way to fix any bug, including the one that happens in Iron Will.
  • You can kill everyone at the location, but you'll need to create a new save file when you're by the bugged NPCs. Reload the save, and you'll go past the bugged phase. However, I don't like killing every NPC to proceed.

There's another method that you can try. Go to the bridge on the same side where the first fight takes place. Gather your entire group, and start a new turn. Switch through all the characters by pressing the Tab button, and then save the game. Reload this save, and you'll find that you're out of combat. You can proceed to begin the second fight and complete the quest as intended.

I am quite positive that the last solution should work and fix the Iron Will bug. However, a fix should be dropped soon by the developers, which will make it easier for all to complete the quest.

Player standing holding watering can in front of crop field in disney dreamlight valley

There are quite a few unique items you're tasked with seeking out around the village in Disney Dreamlight Valley's Star Path events. One such mission asks you to find and buy seeds that can be turned into pasta.

Since you're only given this fairly vague duty description to work with, it can be fairly difficult to determine what item you need to locate for this mission. If you're struggling to get it done, here's how to buy seeds that can be turned into pasta in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

What are seeds that can be turned into pasta in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

Wheat seeds at goofy's stall in disney dreamlight valley

The seeds that can be turned into pasta for the Paw-fect Romance Star Path duty are Wheat Seeds. Wheat is the most commonly used ingredient in pasta noodles, especially for the many pasta-based dishes you can cook up in DDV, which is what this event quest references.

Wheat Seeds can be bought from Goofy's Stall in the Peaceful Meadow biome for just one Star Coin. They're super cheap and affordable, which makes checking off this mission quickly quite easy.

If you have access to other DLC worlds, there are a few other spots you can visit to buy these seeds, too. Wheat Seeds are also available for purchase at his stall in Ancient's Landing on Eternity Isle, The Bind in Storybook Vale, and at his traveling stall that roams all around Wishblossom Ranch.

There are technically many other ingredients that can be turned into pasta outside the valley, like Rice, Corn, and Zucchini. For this specific Star Path quest, though, only Wheat contributes progress. Most event missions focus on one specific item only, ignoring all other contenders that may also fit the description, so it's generally best to think of the most obvious option and try that first when you're stuck on these types of quests.

Buy seeds that can be turned into pasta in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To complete the buy seeds that can be turned into pasta mission, you need to purchase 15 Wheat Seeds from Goofy's Stall. Since each one only costs one Star Coin, you only have to spend 15 Star Coins in total to complete this quest.

You might be tempted to plant, water, grow, and harvest this crop after buying the seeds. No additional actions are required to finish this specific mission, though, so you can do whatever you like with the seeds after buying them.

Completing this quest gets you 25 Tokens to spend in the Star Path event. It's a fairly decent prize, but nowhere near enough for most of the rewards, so you'll likely want to tackle some additional quests after this one. There are plenty of other duties to choose from, like crafting a potion you can really "dig," harvesting a key chocolate ingredient, and dressing up in your Mickey Mouse ears.

Star Path events task you with all kinds of important missions to tackle around the village in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Many of them are disguised with vague hints, though, as is the case with the buy seeds to grow a key pasta sauce ingredient duty.

There are many unique seeds you can get, and plenty of different crops you can grow with them. It can be tricky to figure out what this quest is hinting at because of this, so if you're struggling to find the right item, here's how to buy seeds to grow a key pasta sauce ingredient in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

What are seeds to grow a key pasta sauce ingredient in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

Buying tomato seeds from goofy's stall in disney dreamlight vallry
Screenshot by Destructoid

The seeds you need to grow a key pasta sauce ingredient are Tomato Seeds in DDV. Marinara sauce is one of the most common pasta sauces, and Tomatoes are a key ingredient for it, which is what this Paw-fect Romance Star Path duty is referencing.

There are lots of other pasta sauce ingredients you can find around the valley, too, though, like Basil, Oregano, Garlic, Onions, and Cheese. Most of these items cannot be grown from seeds, though, and are instead found out in the wild or available at each of the restaurant's pantries.

Some other pasta sauce items can be grown, though, and may technically meet the conditions mentioned for this duty. For this specific Star Path quest, though, only Tomato Seeds count and will contribute progress.

You can purchase Tomato Seeds from Goofy's Stall in the Dazzle Beach biome. They're always available from this small shop, and he sells them for eight Star Coins a bag. If you have the A Rift in Time DLC, you can also find these seeds at his stall in the Wild Tangle.

Buy seeds to grow a key pasta sauce ingredient in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To complete the buy seeds to grow a key pasta sauce ingredient duty, you need to purchase a total of 15 Tomato Seeds from Goofy's Stall. This requires you to spend a minimum of 120 Star Coins to get the quest done. You don't need to plant, grow, and harvest them for this mission; all that's asked of you is to simply buy them.

Completing this quest gets you 25 Tokens to spend in the event. It's a pretty solid prize for the minimal effort involved, so this is a duty that's certainly worth checking off as soon as possible for some quick and easy Tokens.

There are plenty of other Star Path missions you can tackle after this one to earn enough Tokens for whichever prize you have your eye on. If you're not sure what to do next, you might consider working on chatting with a villager named after a flower, mining for black stones, selling green veggies, and dressing up in your Mickey Mouse ears.

Player in red and gold dress standing in garden holding watering can in disney dreamlight valley

As you work through Star Path events in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you'll encounter all kinds of unique missions that require you to solve fairly vague goals. One of these types of quests asks you to buy spicy seeds.

Around the main valley and DLC worlds, there are over 100 unique ingredients you can get, most of which can be grown from seeds. Plenty of them are technically spicy, but for the purposes of this duty, there's only one item that counts. If you're unsure what it is, here's how to buy spicy seeds in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

What are spicy seeds in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

Pointing at chili pepper seeds in disney dreamlight valley
Screenshot by Destructoid

The spicy seeds you need to get for the Paw-fect Romance Star Path duty are Chili Pepper Seeds. This mission is part of the week two routine duties, which are focused on gathering some key pasta ingredients, so Chili Pepper Seeds are the correct ones to purchase.

You can buy Chili Pepper Seeds from Goofy's Stall in the Sunlit Plateau biome. Each bag costs 20 Star Coins. If you also have the A Rift in Time DLC, Chili Pepper Seeds can be bought from Goofy's Stall in the Glittering Dunes region, too.

There are plenty of other ingredients you might consider to be spicy, like Black Pepper or Paprika, but no other officially count for this event duty. Star Path quests often hone in on one specific item, even if multiple technically match the description, so whenever you end up stuck trying to figure out what's needed for a specific quest, this might be why.

Buy spicy seeds in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To complete the buy spicy seeds mission, you need to purchase a total of 15 Chili Pepper Seeds. There are no additional steps for this quest, so don't worry about planting, watering, and harvesting this crop. As soon as you've bought the required amount, this specific duty will check off as complete, which means you can move on to other missions.

Since each bag costs 20 Star Coins, you'll have to spend a total of 300 Star Coins for this duty. You get 50 Tokens for completing this quest, which is a huge reward for the very minimal effort you have to put into it. The prize you get from this one is a massive help for claiming those bigger Star Path event prizes, like the Dream Styles and Companion.

Although you do get a lot of Tokens for finishing this mission, there are still many rewards that will require even more of them. Luckily, there are also plenty of other Star Path missions you can work on to quickly rack up lots of additional points. If you're not sure what to tackle next, consider working on some tricky missions like dressing up in your Mickey Mouse ears, mining for black stones, chatting with a villager named after a flower, and selling green veggies.

Standing in front of Municipal Muses Museum in the sims 4

Events in The Sims 4 often ask you to visit many specific locations around various worlds, which can be tough to do since there are so many lots available to you. One of the many locations you'll be tasked with visiting is the Municipal Muses Museum.

When you're asked to travel to this spot, you're not given any guidance on where to find it. With so many unique worlds available to visit, it can be rather tough to track down a specific location among them. If you're struggling to locate this one, here's where to find the Municipal Muses Museum in The Sims 4.

Municipal Muses Museum location in The Sims 4

Municipal Muses Museum map location in the sims 4
Screenshot and remix by Destructoid

The Municipal Muses Museum is a museum lot located in Willow Creek, one of the free base game worlds available to all players. This location is part of the community lot row featured in the Crawdad Quarter neighborhood, which is found near the southwest corner of the map.

The museum is the building near the very left end of the row, closest to the bottom left corner of the map. It's next to a few other community lots, including the Willow Creek Archive library, the Movers & Shakers gym, and The Blue Velvet nightclub. Directly north, you can also find Magnolia Blossom Park.

By default, this lot will always be a museum. But like most lotes, it can be freely edited and replaced with any other lot of your choosing. This means there's a chance you don't have the Municipal Muses Museum location in your world at all, which can make working through the Lost Legacies event rather tricky.

If this is the case, you can try visiting the lot where the museum would be anyway to see if the quest objective checks off. Sometimes, event quest objectives can be completed as long as you're technically on the lot where the specified building is meant to be.

Other times, though, you'll be stuck and unable to progress. If you do run into this issue, you can either find and replace the lot with the original one from the Gallery or open a different save to visit this location there. Generally, it's best to tackle all events in a fresh save or one where you haven't touched any of the lots around Willow Creek and Oasis Springs, as these two worlds are the ones that tend to be featured in them.

Sim standing inside museum by statues and wall art in the sims 4
Screenshot by Destructoid

There are two ways you can have your Sim travel to this location. The first is to open the map, select Willow Creek, and choose the Municipal Muses Museum lot. The second is to open your Sims phone, select the travel icon, choose the Willow Creek world, and select the Municipal Muses Museum lot. I usually find traveling through the map to be faster, but either option gets the job done.

Visiting the Municipal Muses Museum to see what the Royal Envoy from Ondarion has in store is essential for progressing through the week three Lost Legacies event quests. Before you embark on this quest, you'll want to ensure you first manage to win a chess match against the Royal Envoy.
