While some lucky users can begin experiencing the features of PlayStation 4 Update 5.50 as of today with the rollout of the beta, the rest of us are going to have to settle with a PlayStation Blog rundown of what we can look forward to when, what Sony is calling the "KEIJI" update, finally launches. With the numbering of the update suggesting a half step instead of a complete overhaul, expectations should be kept in check.
