It's a very fast, very silly FPS about shooting robot billionaires that takes its aesthetic from 80's anime and PC-98 games. I'm not sure what else you need, honestly. |

Innocent times and places like the prologue for Baldur's Gate, which unfolds in the vast, fortified monastery of Candlekeep (beware spoilers from this point on). BioWare's first ever RPG opens with your unsuspecting Chosen One learning the ropes from the old sage Gorion. There are fetchquests that take you around the enormous citadel, bits of combat training to do, cosy formative chinwags to have with characters like your childhood friend Imoen. But it's not to last, of course: Gorion is murdered, and you must rove the Sword Coast in pursuit of his killer. When you return to Candlekeep later in the game, this once-proud bastion of learning has been filled with doppelgangers of Gorion and other acquaintances, a parade of chatbots waiting to stab you in the back. |

505 Games and Rabbit and Bear Studio announced an Eiyuden Chronicle DLC roadmap, featuring the Marisa, Seign, and Markus extra stories, on the Japanese social media account. If things proceed as planned, all three of the additional add-ons should be released within 2024.
This comes following an April 2024 AMA during which the development team said there were no release windows for any of the follow-up Eiyuden Chronicle content. The roadmap image begins by showing the items available now. People can get the $9.99 Allraan Artistry Pack, $1.99 Hope of the Alliance HQ Statue, $4.99 HQ Makeover Package, and $2.99 Pioneer Pack. As noted in the English social media account, all of these add-ons are available on all platforms now.
The rest of the Eiyuden Chronicle DLC roadmap is filled with the Marisa, Seign, and Elden Magicks add-ons. Below each one is a launch window. Marisa's additional story is apparently set to appear first in August 2024. It looks as though the Seign scenario will debut in September 2024. Finally, the Elden Magicks scenario that won the DLC 3 vote should show up in October 2024.

A CLAMP exhibition will take place in Japan from July 3 to September 23, 2024. It'll cover 23 different series and feature over 800 pieces of the original manga artwork. [Thanks, Oricon!]
News of this exhibition first came out in December 2023. The exhibition will take place at the National Art Center in Roppongi, Tokyo. Some of the series you'll be able to check out while you're there include Cardcaptor Sakura, Chobits, Angelic Layer, xxxHolic, and Tokyo Babylon. Artwork will be in both monochrome and color. There will also be exclusive merchandise for the CLAMP exhibition. They are:
All of the merchandise feature either CLAMP characters or the CLAMP logo.
CLAMP is an all-female manga group that currently consists of four members. Aside from the above manga and anime series, it created Magic Knight Rayearth, X, and Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle. There are a variety of different themes and plots for each series, but generally speaking CLAMP's works feature the idea of fated couples and pure love. The idea of pure love extends beyond gender confines and CLAMP's series often feature either implied or explicit same-sex couples. There is also the idea of a CLAMP universe in which multiple characters often appear in other works, or look like them.
The CLAMP exhibition will take place in Tokyo from July 2 to September 23, 2024.

We now have what seems to be the release date for Genshin Impact Version 4.7. The new patch will is expected to go live on June 5, 2024.
In this patch, we'll get three new playable characters: Clorinde, Sigewinne, and Sethos. All three of them have already made significant appearances in the story, though Sethos was only in Cyno's character quest. Like Arlecchino, Clorinde and Sigewinne will make use of the Bond of Life mechanic that HoYoVerse introduced after players entered Fontaine.
You can watch the trailer for Genshin Impact Version 4.7 at the beginning of the Special Program. It also shows the Archon Quest "Bedtme Story," with Dainsleif, will appear and involve a meeting between Aether and Lumine again.
In Version 4.6, HoYoVerse only introduced Arlecchino as a new character, though it re-ran Lyney, Wanderer, and Baizhu. The main event that we got was Arataki's Tour de Force of Awesomeness, which ended with a musical number between Itto and Hu Tao. So yes, that does mean players who use the Japanese voice-over got to listen to a concert in which TM Revolution and Ai of Oshi no Ko sang together. Windtrace also returned, featuring a new Dead by Daylight or Identity V mechanic. There were also two new regions to explore, as well as a new Trounce Domain to challenge.
Genshin Impact is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. Version 4.7 of Genshin Impact should come out on June 5, 2024.

Now that the 4.7 Genshin Impact Special Program is done, there are three new Primogem codes to redeem. As usual, you get in-game items and currency with each one, though you need to be quick as they're limited to a single day or when they run out. (Whichever comes first!)
Here are the Genshin Impact Primogem codes for Special Program 4.6
These codes came up during the course of the program between segments, and you can still catch them in the archive on YouTube. The three codes end up being 300 Primogems total. That means you need an additional 20 Primogems from daily tasks, quests, or events to get two total pulls. The other items help you level up characters or equipment.
Here are the May 24, 2024 Genshin Impact Primogem codes for 4.7:
PC players or people who have linked HoYoVerse accounts can redeem those three codes at the official site. The items will then be in your in-game mailbox. If you play on a PS4, PS5, or mobile device, then you need to redeem the codes in-game. Go to the Settings option. Select account. Enter them one by one. You'll then get the items in your mailbox.
Genshin Impact is available on the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the 4.7 update will appear on June, 2024. The 4.7 Special Program Genshin Impact Primogem codes can be used until either they run out or the end of the day on May 24, 2024 or they run out. You can also catch the Special Program on YouTube.

During the Version 4.7 special program for Genshin Impact, HoYoVerse provided some information on the new characters Clorinde, Sigewinne, and Sethos. Sethos will be the only character who is a four-star, and Sigewinne is the only one who will get a Nereides character story chapter.
Clorinde will be a five-star Electro Sword user. She can also use her pistol in her Charged Attack and Skill. Like Arlecchino, Clorinde will have a kit that focuses on the Bond of Life mechanic. How much Bond of Life percentage she has determines the effect, DMG, and healing multiplier of her Skill. The bullets she shoots from her Skill can also pierce through enemies. This means that she can hit targets even if there are random enemies between them and her. Her Burst grants her Bond of Life and deals AoE Electro DMG.
Sigewinne will be a five-star Hydro Bow user. Her Skill creates a bubble that can bounce between enemies, dealing Hydro DMG. This DMG scales off her Max HP and she can heal party members (not herself) when it bounces off an enemy. It will only heal Sigewinne after the bubble disappears. You can also charge it by holding down the Skill button, increasing how much DMG and healing it does. Like Clorinde, Sigewinne also has a Bond of Life mechanic in which she restores Elemental Energy depending on how much Bond of Life she has. Sigewinne's Burst deals AoE Hydro DMG.
Sethos will be a four-star Electro Bow user. Like Clorinde, his Charged Attack can pierce through enemies if you charge it enough. Sethos's Skill deals AoE Electro DMG and restores Elemental Energy if he causes some sort of Electro Elemental Reaction. This include Swirl but not Crystallize. His Burst is similar to Cyno's in which his attacks are converted to Electro DMG. He scales off his Elemental Mastery.
Chlorinde and Alhaitham will be on the first banner of 4.7. Sethos will be with them as a featured four-star. The second phase of banners will have Sigewinne and Furina.

Kabosu, internationally famous as the "Doge" meme dog, died. She was eighteen years old at the time of death. [Thanks, Dexterto, Yahoo!]
Atsuko Satou, the "mother" and owner of Kabosu, shared this news on her blog. She thanked Kabosu for being with her for so long and stated that Kabosu's death was a peaceful affair. Satou wrote that she was petting Kabosu when she faded away as if in sleep. Kabosu was a rescue that Satou adopted in 2008. She then created a blog focusing on her life with Kabosu, even receiving book deals and releasing calendars of the dog. In 2010, she uploaded a picture of Kabosu side-eyeing the camera. This photo of Kabosu exploded in popularity on sites like Reddit and 4chan, and the rest was history for Doge.
In December 2022, Satou stated that the veterinarians diagnosed Kabosu with leukemia. However, Satou said that she was getting better afterwards. While English speakers recognize Kabosu due to the Doge meme, Satou and Kabosu's popularity in their native Japan seemed to be on Satou's blog and Kabosu's cuteness.
This could be due to the template of the Doge meme. The broken English (such as in "Much noble, so respect") doesn't work when translated into Japanese. Without the captions, a picture of Kabosu's side-eyeing face, while cute, may not have the viral quality of the various cats that appear in the cat meme videos (which became popular in February 2024).
Kabosu, best known for being the Doge dog in memes, died at the age of 18.

Cover announced the next two holo Indie games starring Hololive Vtubers, with DUEHOLO and Miko Sniper both due out in June 2024. Both of them will be available in multiple languages and cost ¥490 (~$3.12).
The first of the two holo Indie games to appear will be Miko Sniper by Same Games. It is a tower defense game starring Sakura Miko and 35P. Your goal is to get through stages and survive. As you do, you'll also be able to upgrade 35P and change Miko's clothing. That will launch on June 7, 2024. In addition to being in English and Japanese, it will also feature Indonesian, Korean, Thai, and both Simplified and Traditional Chinese language options.

As for DUEHOLO, it is a roguelike card game featuring Hololive Vtubers from every Japanese generation from Take. The eight characters present at launch will be Aki Rosenthal, Hakui Koyori, Houshou Marine, Omaru Polka, Ookami Mio, Oozora Subaru, Sakura Miko, and Tsunomaki Watame. Your goal will be to face the 35 opposing Vtubers from the Japanese branch. It will only be available in Japanese and English. It will debut on June 28, 2024.

Miko Sniper will launch on PCs via Steam on June 7, 2024, and it will be followed by DUEHOLO on June 28, 2024.
