Mere moments before release, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 has been delayed by the occult implosion of developers The Chinese Room, seemingly triggered by a last-ditch request from Paradox Interactive to add a microtransaction system and start charging for every bitten neck.

There is nothing left of The Chinese Room now. Nothing but a huge bubble of Cromwell invocations and bisexual lighting, right in the middle of Portsmouth. Occasionally, a level designer erupts from the congealing iridescent surface, begging to be allowed to make Dear Esther 2 instead, only to be dragged back into the orb by a thousand, vermillion-painted fingers.

Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy Videos Show Kain, Warrior of Light

Square Enix started sharing new Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy teaser images and videos of characters and moves, and the first trailer clips feature Warrior of Light from the original Final Fantasy and Kain from FFIV. Each one highlights the units using different types of attacks. These follow images and insights into some of the Abilities available. Both videos show the characters in their classic costumes, rather than updated ones from the official site.

First, here's the video highlighting how the Warrior of Light works. While he is going to be a Support type character in the game, he's shown attacking in this footage. He uses the Minwu Teleport ability here, which features Yoshitaka Amano art. The text going over the character also mentioned he's bad at using cell phones.

The Kain Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy video appeared not long after to highlight the FFIV character. He's a Melee type unit in the game designed to act as a DPS. His teaser notes he still retains his Dragoon Jump attack in the game, and in the footage he uses an Ability called Vigilant.

Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy will come to Android and iOS devices in 2026, with the closed Android beta test taking place between November 7-14, 2025.

New Final Fantasy XIV Comes With Fat Chocobo Pouch FFXIV

Taito Prize announced its next Final Fantasy item, and it is a FFXIV Fat Chocobo blanket with pouch. It will appear as a prize in Japanese arcades starting at the end of October 2025. No retailers that ship to the US seem to be stocking this Final Fantasy blanket yet, but it may be worth keeping an eye on Aitai Kuji. That storefront often sells Taito Prize items worldwide.

Only one photo of the Final Fantasy blanket is available on available on Taito's site. It shows the blanket is brown with a small tag on the bottom right corner that is beige and features the FFXIV logo with a Fat Chocobo to the right of it. The blanket itself is 90cm, which is over 35in long. The pouch shown at the upper left corner looks like a yellow Fat Chocobo's face. It is 25cm long, which is nearly 10 inches. The announcement didn't note if the bag is attached to the blanket. It is intended to be used as storage for that.

Here's the one photo of the Final Fantasy XIV Fat Chocobo blanket with pouch so far.

Taito Prize regularly releases FFXIV merchandise, and there's even a dedicated page for the products. We tend to see a new item almost every month. For example, the one that debuted in September 2025 was a room light that looked like a crescent moon with a Loporrit sitting on it.

The Final Fantasy XIV Fat Chocobo blanket with storage pouch will show up in Japanese arcades at the end of October 2025, and FFXIV is available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.

Dark Stalkers BB Hood Bishoujo Figure Debuts in 2026 baby bonnie hood

The new Kotobukiya Darkstalkers Bishoujo figure based on Baby Bonny Hood (BB Hood) will debut in 2026. It will show up for 25,300円 in Japan in May 2025. Then in June 2026, we'll see it show up in North America for $169.99. Direct purchases through Kotobukiya's storefronts include a bonus face plate with a more dastardly expression. Pre-orders are open now.

BB Hood is wearing her standard costume from the fighting game. So she looks like Little Red Riding Hood, complete with a basket with flowers peeking out. It's hanging from the same arm as her trademark uzi, which she uses with her attacks. However, her dog Harry is absent for the figure. The pose makes it look like she's running while firing the gun.

Here's how the Darkstalkers Bishoujo BB Hood figure looks:

The optional face plate being given away as a bonus alters her expression. Her smile becomes more maniacal, with sharp teeth clenched together. Her eyes also are slitted and completely white, showing her anger and determination.

Lots of other Darkstalkers heroines are already part of the Kotobukiya Bishoujo figure line. For example, Hsien-Ko was the last one to appear before BB Hood. Morrigan and Lilith ones are there too. So is Felicia

The Darkstalkers BB Hood Bishoujo figure will launch in Japan in May 2025, then appear worldwide in June 2025.

Constance the Dahlia Joins Honkai: Star Rail in 3.8

Way back in December 2023 and January 2024, HoYoVerse teased Honkai: Star Rail Annihilation Gang Ever-Flame Mansion members like Constance, aka The Dahlia. They even got their own trailer! Then the 2.0 update kicked off and Penacony's storyline happened, making the members' appearances a little uncertain. But now the company confirmed on social media the 3.8 update will include The Dahlia as a playable character.

Even though The Dahlia is a former member of a group that followed the Path of Destruction, that isn't the Path Constance will "walk" in Honkai: Star Rail. Instead, she's a five-star Nihility character. This means she'll focus on inflicting status effects and damage over time. As her element is Fire, that means we'll likely see her inflicting Burn on foes.

The description of her suggests she could even be a part of the current Trailblaze Mission storyline on Amphoreus. This is because she referenced how the person she's speaking to's memories are "thorny" and mentioned, "you will learn how the past is being cremated and how the future is being buried."

This means there is still the potential for three other Annihilation Gang Ever-Flame Mansion characters to show up in Honkai: Star Rail. These are Akash the Tuner, Caterina the Shacklebound, and Dubra the Scribe.

Honkai: Star Rail is available on the PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and Constance the Dahlia will debut after the 3.8 update.

Festival of the Lost has a new SMG, Gunburn, which is bound to strike fear into the heart of the Headless Ones. The new Kinetic Lightweight weapon brings the newly released Kinetic perks, as well as one of the most wanted traits in primaries that don't deal elemental damage.

Gunburn already faces steep competition against the Multimach CCX, which is a beloved, easily available, god-rolled legacy SMG with Attrition Orbs/Kinetic Tremors available at Banshee-44's stand. Still, Gunburn gets up to 10 percent more damage since it counts as new gear, which may be enough to consider switching, and its perk pool also comes with new additions.

Here are our Gunburn god rolls for PvE in Destiny 2's Festival of the Lost, based on perk info from light.gg.

Gunburn PvE god roll in Destiny 2

  • Barrel: Polygonal Rifling, Corkscrew Rifling, or Chambered Compensator.
  • Mag: Flared Magwell, Tactical Mag, Alloy Mag, or Appended Mag.
  • First perk: Bewildering Burst.
  • Second perk: Kinetic Tremors and Ancillary Ordnance.

    • Honorable mention: One For All.

In our Gunburn god roll, we're aiming for the staple Kinetic perks: Bewildering Burst in the third column, plus Kinetic Tremors and/or Ancillary Ordnance in the fourth.

Gunburn's third column isn't much of a struggle. Bewildering Burst is by far our favorite option, since it can disorient enemies without much setup. If you're looking for something else, Pugilist is usually a good choice for melee-based builds, while Lead from Light can help you get some extra Special ammo. Threat Detector isn't bad either, especially since Gunburn's base reload speed isn't great, and Lone Wolf can be a bit redundant with the Search Party origin trait (though Veist Stinger might be the play here). Still, we think the Kinetic-exclusive perk comes out on top.

The fourth column has more viable options: Kinetic Tremors and Ancillary Ordnance are our favorite picks, though One For All continues to bring a strong damage buff. Attrition Orbs is in this column, which means it's up against some heavy-hitters and probably won't see much use here. Binary Orbit can work, especially with access to Solar, Arc, or Void damage, though we're leaning toward the others.

For parts, our priority is getting faster reloads, preferably with some stability thrown into the mix. These aren't the most decisive aspects of the weapon, however, so this should be more of a tie-breaker than actual criteria.

All in all, you can find plenty of options in Gunburn, though we recommend focusing on the Kinetic parts of its kit—especially if you're using the Techsec set bonus.

How to get Gunburn in Destiny 2

The Gunburn SMG is available as part of Festival of the Lost and debuted in the event's 2025 edition. It has a chance of dropping wherever you can get Festival of the Lost Engrams. Haunted Altars is your safest bet, with two Eerie Engrams and a chance of bonus drops. Certain Portal activities, which are marked by an Eerie Engram icon, may also give you some Halloween-styled rewards.

The SMG is bound to disappear once the event ends, however, so it's best to go for a roll while the celebrations live. Like Solstice, any Festival of the Lost items you receive will drop one tier above your usual rewards.

A Headless One in the Haunted Altars in Destiny 2.

Though the usual bugs aren't around in this year's Festival of the Lost, Destiny 2 players have found new ones—including a particularly egregious softlock in the new activity, Haunted Altars, which can block your progress. While there's no confirmed cause, there are a few ways to fix it.

The softlock in Haunted Altars can cause players to glitch out at the end of an activity and invalidate everything until that point, sometimes triggering after taking down half of the Headless One's health bar. It's especially annoying if you get it multiple times in a row, and with how widespread this issue seems to be, it's certainly not a stretch. Here's what may cause it and what you can do to fix it.

What causes the Haunted Altars softlock in Destiny 2

A Hive pillar on the moon decorated for Festival of the Lost.
The softlock is the scariest part of the event. Image via Bungie

While nothing is confirmed yet, there are a couple of hypotheses behind what can trigger this unpleasant glitch. One is that you're not supposed to burn down the boss too fast. Getting softlocked for being too efficient isn't uncommon in Destiny 2, and Bungie seems to be looking at this as the main cause.

A hypothesis that surfaced among the community, on the other hand, theorizes the Stunning Emotes modifier may affect the Shriekers, causing them to glitch out permanently. If this is the case, it may become less prevalent if the mission's modifiers rotate out or the studio removes the problem mutator from play.

The most common softlock we encountered is not being able to deal damage to the boss after its first health gate, and it may have a couple of fixes.

Destiny 2's Haunted Altars softlock solutions

An Ogre and a Knight in Festival of the Lost 2025's Haunted Altars.
It's a fun event when it's not bugged. Image via Bungie

Wiping the activity fixed our first softlock in the encounter, which likely happened due to guardians dealing too much damage to the boss too quickly. Wiping the squad to the Headless One reset the instance and allowed us to take another shot at it, going easy on the boss this time.

This solution comes with a couple of downsides. First, it's hard to get everyone on the same page for a wipe. More often than not, some guardians will just leave, and matchmaking may not find other players. Second, this method only works on difficulties below Ultimatum, since the Extinguish modifier sends you to Orbit if the entire party dies.

Taking your foot off the gas in the boss fight may also prevent a softlock, according to Bungie. "In the first phase of the boss fight, wait the 10 seconds until the Shriekers close, and then complete the damage phase to avoid the soft lock," the studio recommended. This isn't a fix, but it's a potential preventative measure.

If Stunning Emotes is causing the glitch, however, there doesn't seem to be an easy fix. The Shriekers start off the mission as your enemies and change sides after doing certain mechanics, so it's possible the modifier still acknowledges them as foes and bugs out, even at the end of the run. There's also the chance that the cause is something else entirely.

Both scenarios are difficult to control, especially if you're matchmaking, since the activity is meant for six guardians and not all of them may be aware of how to stop the softlock from happening. Bungie is still investigating the causes behind this issue, so the developer may come up with an interim fix or workaround. Until then, avoid using emotes and melting the boss.

You can get new units in FNTD 2 by summoning them on the Season Banner using Tokens. The units on the banner rotate every hour. There are two separate pity counters, for Secret and Nightmare units, which guarantee that you get rare units within 500 and 1,500 pulls. Summoning is not the only way to obtain units, as some can be bought using Tokens, Robux, or obtained from Shop bundles and quests.

Enchanting Units in FNTD 2

Preview of the unit enchant menu in the FNTD 2 Roblox experience.
Enchanting your units is an easy way to buff their stats decently.

If you want to boost the DPS and range of your units, the best way to do that is by enchanting them. There are currently only nine enchants available: Damage III is best for most DPS units, while Range III is good on supports. To reroll an enchant on a unit, you need Souls, which can be obtained from basically every mechanic in the game.

That concludes our FNTD 2 tier list. Let us know which unit you think is the best, and why, in the comments below. If you want to claim some free Tokens and start rolling for the best units on our tier list right away, then make sure to check out our Five Nights TD 2 codes.

An RV hoisted by two cables in RV There Yet?

Only four players can play RV There Yet? together in a single session. While fans are eager to increase that player cap and create wild sessions of eight, 12, or maybe even 20 players at once, this won't happen soon—at least not officially.

You can't increase the four-player cap in RV There Yet? today. The game developers answered in a FAQ post on Steam that support for larger groups will "possibly" come in the future, but it's not planned for the short term.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7mXFwVNX6Y

"There are more things we will add, though," the developers wrote. "Some of these things we already plan to do after launch (eg. localisation and bug fixes), some of these things we are very open to based on community feedback (eg. allowing more than 4 players in one way or another)"

At the end of the post, the devs' message is clear: "For now, the game will be what it is. We think it's fun, we're really proud of what we achieved, and we hope you have a good time. Everything else is future stuff, and when we know more, we can let you know."

Considering this message and that RV There Yet? was released on Oct. 21, it's best not to expect groups larger than four anytime soon. But there's hope for impatient fans.

Group expansion mods could be in the works

The game's General Discussions page on Steam already has players claiming they're working on a mod to expand the four-player cap. Nothing is confirmed, and no mods are publicly available yet, so it's unclear when these mods will arrive or if they're even possible to create.

Your best bet is to keep an eye on mod forums and the Steam Community page of RV There Yet?, as these are the most likely places where fans will share how to actually increase the player count.

Once there's a public way to boost the player count in RV There Yet?, we will test it and update this story accordingly.

Player targeting enemies in Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2

Once you have cleared the initial set of tasks and made it to the roof in Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2, you'll have to make the first difficult decision - pick a clan.

There are six clans to choose from, each with its own pros and cons. You can only pick one clan, and your decision will determine how the playthrough will feel. Some clans definitely feel better, and this tier list will make it easier for you to decide.

Complete Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 clans tier list

I have used three tiers to separate the clans. However, you can complete and enjoy the game with any clan of your choice. The distance between the six clans is not much, and the tier list has been made based on my experience with Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 so far.

Clans in Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines 2
Screenshot by Destructoid

S-tier clans

Brujah

The Brujah is definitely one of the simpler yet effective clans you can find inside the game. It's the best choice for players who want to take an aggressive approach and can soak up a lot of damage. It's purely based on melee, where you'll be able to hit hard (and also take some punches). Feeding empowers you with Vampiric Strength, thanks to the Brutality passive, while Lightning Strike and Earthshock will allow you to do AoE damage. Taunt forces enemies to attack you while they take more damage. Overall, it's an uncomplicated way to play the game where you hit harder than the blows you take.

Tremere

Treme is the antithesis of Brujah, as you deal damage from range. Corrosive Touch as a Passive feels amazing as all bodies of fed enemies will dissolve. Blood Curse will explode once you manage to land a curse, while Recall is an excellent mobility-based move that allows you to move and to and fro between different locations. Cauldron of Blood and Blood Salvo use blood magic to damage enemies, while the perk allows you to add blood pip to a random ability. If you're into a ranged playstyle and want to do blood magic, this could be your clan.

A-tier

Lasombra

The Lasombra can be considered as S-tier if you manage to master its abilities. The Shadow Cloak passive hides you temporarily after feeding an enemy, while Arms of Ahriman causes a shadow to trap enemies and prevent them from moving. Shadow Step adds a teleportation ability via shadows, while Enter Oblivion allows you to manipulate reality. I found mastering the shadows to be pretty hard in one of my runs, which is why I have placed it in the A-tier.

Banu Haqim

If you know how to hit enemies while dodging their attacks, the Banu Haqim is a good choice. Your attacks generally will do a lot of damage, and Silence of Death ensures all your actions post-feeding on an enemy will be silent. Blade Hand slashes through enemies and can one-shot weaker targets, while Split Second makes you go immensely fast. Unseen Aura is one of the best abilities in the game as it completely makes you invisible to all enemies for a small window. The kit is designed for those who know when to hide, and hence, it's not really my favorite style.

Toreador

If the Twilight movies inspire you, maybe Toreador should be your go-to choice. This clan represents the fashionistas of the vampire world, and there's a touch of grace in almost everything that you do. A major reason behind this clan not being S-tier is the passive Cat's Grace, which makes you move fast after feeding. The impact of this passive feels inferior compared to other choices.

Entrancing Kiss will convert an enemy to an ally for a few seconds, allowing you to raise your own zombies (not literal ones). Blink allows you to reach the targeted location in a second, while Beckon can slow and confuse enemies. Thanks to Momentum Fleetness, your Blink will almost always be in a ready state, allowing you to move around the map smoothly.

B-tier

Ventrue

The Ventrue is the easiest clan to master, but most of the abilities just feel boring. Flesh of Marble makes you harder to take down, while Terminal Decree can make a mortal kill themselves. You can also use it to stagger and disarm vampires, while Possession will allow you to possess someone and manipulate them. You can even use them to attack another character. Cloud Memory can cause temporary amnesia, while Mass Manipulation prevents an enemy from attacking you.

It's not that the Ventrue's abilities are bad. They're fun, and the easiest ones to master. However, they will lose their charm in the long run, and the main reason for me to place the clan in the B-tier.

The Flash running in Injustice 2

Warner Bros. might sell all its assets and offer the entire company to a new owner after "unsolicited interest" from potential buyers, the company revealed this Tuesday.

If Warner Bros. is sold in full, that would mean trading its own gaming studios and subsidiaries like Mortal Kombat's NetherRealm Studios, Hogwarts Legacy's Avalanche Software, Batman: Arkham games' Portkey Games, and LEGO titles' TT Games.

The announcement of this potential sale comes almost a month after EA Games revealed it's being acquired by private investors, which include Saudi Arabia's PIF.

The Warner Bros. buyer would also take home the DC games that James Gunn teased were in the works. In August, he told GamesRadar+ that "We have a couple of little DC games coming out," including "one thing in particular" he was excited about, though it would take time to materialize.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmStDMvtAWg

It's unclear what plans for DC games James Gunn has and how a full WB sale would impact them, but the company's gaming financials and the recent history of other big acquisitions suggest that delaying or canceling these projects wouldn't be surprising.

Warner Bros. has been reducing game production expenses

This concern seems justified based on Warner Bros.' current investment in game development. According to the company's 2024 Full Year report, it spent over $384 million making video games last year and has been decreasing expenses since.

The reduced investment in Warner Bros. Games is clear in 2025. While the company only released two games this year (the mobile DC Worlds Collide and the Nintendo Switch 2 port of Hogwarts Legacy), it published seven games in 2024, including two commercial flops: Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and Multiversus.

With a disastrous 2024 and a massive slowdown in game production during 2025, it's not far-fetched to assume that whoever buys the company will want to stay conservative with game development, both using DC and other intellectual properties. If WB takes a page out of Microsoft's book during the Activision Blizzard acquisition, we could see entire games and studios shuttered.

That's why I think James Gunn's gaming plans won't materialize anytime soon. If development was already slow before, it should be even slower during and after Warner Bros.' acquisition. That's all my perspective and analysis, though, and it's certainly too soon to say for sure whether WB Games are safe or not.

There's a glimmer of hope, even in the worst-case scenario. During the Activision Blizzard acquisition in 2022, Microsoft canceled the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 and 4 remakes. But the game came back from the dead and was released three years later, in July 2025. So, even if we see James Gunn's plans getting shelved, it doesn't mean they couldn't resurface in the future. However, one thing is very likely: whatever these plans were, they aren't becoming reality soon and may take even longer if Warner Bros. is acquired.

BO7 masked operator

The improvements to Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 began before its beta test earlier this month, but based on feedback, a number of other changes are coming that should make community members happy.

Treyarch design director Matt Scronce went into the nuts and bolts of what's changing in a new Dev Talk video released this afternoon. New improvements from the beta include aim assist adjustments, louder footsteps, tuning for sliding, and different distribution of Perks.

BO7 multiplayer operators
Image via Activision

One of the main complaints from the beta is that players needed to use the Dexterity Perk to aim down sights while sliding, diving, and wall jumping, and Scronce said that will now be a default mechanic in the game. Dexterity will now give "maximum fluidity" on top of that. In addition, sliding distance and speed have been slightly reduced, but mantling will now be faster "across the board."

One of the age-old hot-button issues in CoD has been the strength of aim assist, and that continued in the BO7, with many players feeling it was overtuned. Scronce addressed it by saying that controller players win slightly more close-range battles, while mouse-and-keyboard players win a bit more at long range.

"So, what we're going to do here to try to close that gap is take a very close look at the strength of aim assist across all of those ranges," he said. "Additionally, we are looking at rotational aim assist and the requirement for the right aim stick to be moving in the direction of your target. We'll have more concrete details to share soon."

As for Perk changes, here's what's happening on that front:

  • Tech Mask: Slot 1 to Slot 2
  • Scavenger: Slot 1 to Slot 2
  • Cold Blooded: Slot 1 to Slot 3
  • Looper: Slot 2 to Slot 3
  • Tac Sprinter: Slot 3 to Slot 1

The early returns on these changes from most players are positive on social media, with CoD players sounding off about their excitement for the newest game in the FPS franchise that's now just a few weeks away.

Black Ops 7 is set to launch on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC on Nov. 14, and more info about the game will be revealed in the weeks leading up to launch.

Phyre in Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines 2

Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 is now available worldwide, and you can tweak the in-game graphics settings to get the best possible performance relative to your system.

While the performance for me in the early moments has been smooth, it required some tweaking. There were noticeable bits in the gameplay when I encountered a few stutters (although my hardware satisfies the recommended settings).

Best tips and tricks for best graphics in Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2

Here are some basic things to keep in mind if you want Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 to run smoothly on your PC.

  • Update your graphics card driver. While Nvidia and AMD are yet to release a driver update specifically for Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2, you can always check for pending updates using the dedicated client. This will help to avoid optimization issues and extract the best performance you can get on your system.
  • Disabling V-Sync is the smart option until a few post-launch patches roll out. You'll be losing very little but gaining better performance.
  • Unless you're getting 90 FPS or above consistently, it's better to cap the FPS to 60. This change helped me fix the stutters that I was having at my end. The gameplay also loses little if you're running it at 60 FPS at all times.

Next up are my current graphics settings in Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2.

Best Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 graphics settings

These are the settings I am currently using for my gameplay. Here's my hardware: AMD Ryzen 5600G, RTX 3060 12 GB, and 16 GB of DDR5 RAM.

  • Window Mode: Windowed Fullscreen
  • Frame Rate Limit: 60 FPS
  • Frame Rate Limit (Background): 60 FPS
  • Nvidia Reflex Low Latency: On
  • Nvidia DLSS: On
  • Nvidia DLSS Mode: Balanced
  • Quality Presets: Custom
  • Global Illumination: Medium
  • Shadows: High
  • Anti-Aliasing: Medium
  • View Distance: Far
  • Texture: Medium
  • Effects: High
  • Reflections: Medium
  • Post Processing: Medium

That's got me a nice balance of fine graphics and smooth gameplay so far.

BO7 guns operators

Over the past few days, rumors of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 moving up its launch have, for some reason, been circulating all over social media.

The talks really gained traction over this past weekend when Black Ops 6's Chucky-themed event began seemingly out of nowhere and five days earlier than originally announced, leading some to believe that BO7 may not be far behind it when it comes to arriving ahead of schedule. Most discussions are assuming it may now come out a week early on Nov. 7.

BO7 multiplayer screenshot operators
Image via Activision

Over the past couple of days, I've been reaching out to a source close to Activision to debunk the rumor and quell the discussion. I initially thought the idea of suddenly moving up the launch date was silly, baseless speculation based on the BO6 content drops appearing sooner than scheduled, but now, I'm really not so sure.

When I reached out to Activision about the rumors, the company had no comment. And yeah, I think that's weird, even though "no comment" is often pretty standard fare. Because why not? Why not just say, definitively, "Nov. 14 is the release date for Black Ops 7"? Maybe the publisher is enjoying the discussion online (they've seen it), or maybe there is some truth to the rumors that this sort of thing is being discussed behind the scenes, and the situation is fluid like they're trying to make it happen.

As of now, BO7 is launching on Nov. 14. Can things change last minute? Sure, but the launch date has been set for a while, and there are likely things scheduled around that specific date that would also have to be moved around to accommodate the change. It's a lot of moving parts that sounds like a logistical nightmare to change with weeks to go, so, I don't think a date change is likely, but the publisher's refusal to confirm or deny anything has me suspicious.

In previous years, CoD has released early access for the campaign mode as a selling point to pre-order the latest title. But for BO7, its campaign, multiplayer, and Zombies offerings are all being held to the same release time of its originally announced date, as of the time of publishing. And Treyarch reiterated as such in the Twitter/X post below this afternoon.

https://twitter.com/Treyarch/status/1980670037985042637

A release date change this late in the game would be very weird. It would be welcomed by many, but blasted by others, as many people who love CoD schedule their time off for the game's launch in advance. For now, I'd say to stick with Nov. 14 for your "sick day" of the month.

Update on Oct. 21 at 1:10pm CT: In a new Dev Talk, Treyarch and Activision reiterated once more that the game is launching on Nov. 14. Some language in the article has been tweaked to reflect communications with the publisher.

Tokyo in Ninja Gaiden 4

Ninja Gaiden 4's main campaign is divided into different chapters, and completing the game can take quite a while.

If you have just started in Tokyo as Yakumo, there are plenty of chapters to go through. This guide lists all the chapters in order of appearance, along with more details on how long it will take to complete Ninja Gaiden 4 and unlock the Master Ninja difficulty.

All chapters in Ninja Gaiden 4

Here's a list of all 19 chapters that are part of the main campaign.

Ninja Gaiden 4 promo image

  • Chapter 00: Dark Descendant
  • Chapter 01: Bloodsoaked Tokyo
  • Chapter 02: Haunted District
  • Chapter 03: Phantom Pleasure Quarter
  • Chapter 04: Pilgrim's Windswept Path
  • Chapter 05: Raging Valley
  • Chapter 06: Guiding Winds
  • Chapter 07: Altar of the Mountain God
  • Chapter 08: Drowned District
  • Chapter 09: Realm of Silent Dead
  • Chapter 10: Bounding Spirits
  • Chapter 11: Infiltration
  • Chapter 12: Dragon's Maw
  • Chapter 13: Clash of Convictions
  • Chapter 14: Unholy Descent
  • Chapter 15: Fanged Gate
  • Chapter 16: Downpour
  • Chapter 17: Howling Ravine
  • Chapter 18: Darkness Reborn
  • Chapter 19: Ebon Wings

How long to beat Ninja Gaiden 4

I was playing on the easiest difficulty, and it took me around 8-9 hours to complete the campaign. However, I mostly prioritized clearing the main story. There are additional missions you can receive from Umi, and complete them for additional rewards. There are plenty of collectibles to find as well. This should take at least 15 hours, if not more. Playing on the easiest difficulty makes everything feel a lot less complex.

If you prioritize clearing the side content, it will take longer, naturally. Playing Ninja Gaiden 4 on higher difficulties will also raise the time it takes to clear all 19 chapters.
