At the outset of The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor, we watched heroine Jill Cervel be murdered by her fiance and deal with the Dragon Emperor Hadis Teos Rave's descent into madness, then saw time rewind and her get a chance to deal with the situations with all the knowledge she possessed from her previous life. The thing is, the Hadis we're presented with in no way matches what we saw in the first volume. Now that we're at the sixth one, it's much easier to understand how he could have ended up treading a dark past as a result of the actions of everyone around him and how Jill's presence in this timeline is preventing that.
Editor's Note: There will be spoilers for volume 6 of The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor manga below.
When we first met Hadis in The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor manga, Jill was an adult and saw him at his worst. He was ravenous. He was exiled from his own country. He was a threat to absolutely everyone. Considering how he reacts when she reunites with him in her do-over attempt, that path seems inconceivable. He's courteous and respectful to Jill and welcomes her as his fiance. He ends up teased by Rave, the dragon who Jill is also able to see due to her own innate power. He enjoys cooking.
Thoughout the volumes after that, we get to see how abused Hadis was by his own family. He was considered cursed, and the second volume established how he ended up treated as a scrapegoat for deaths. Because of his powers and innate abilities, he became a target. Even though he never held any ill will, it was thrust upon him. Being in a situation like that without any support, other than Rave, makes a descent into darkness seem understandable.
Especially after the continuing events in volumes 5 and 6 of The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor manga. It's in these two that we see Hadis' siblings Elentzia and Risteard. When Jill meets them, she's able to get a read on their behaviors toward Hadis. It seems like they actually do care about him and are trustworthy, with Risteard especially showing care despite his personality and exaggerated reactions. But at the same time, even though Jill seems to maybe be open to understanding them, we get that because of his past Hadis can't trust them. It even seems like sometimes he worries about trusting her.
Which means once things get serious in the sixth volume, with Kratos Kingdom Prince Gerard returning alongside the family's uncle George Teos Rave, it almost feels like a pivotal moment that could make the timeline we're seeing in The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor become ore like the original one Jill experienced. Hadis had a feeling someone would betray him. Someone actually does. Jill is put in danger. He's potentially being overturned. She's going to need to make a grand gesture to win a new ally. It's a lot happening at once.
In the second volume of The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor manga, there's a point at which Rave tells Hadis there might not need to be a "reign of terror." With this sixth one, it feels like we're in the heat of the moment. Things are dire, and enemies are right there. Hadis did end up betrayed, as he seemed to expect. But at the same time, we are seeing Jill there and responding. So even though the progression does show how things could go wrong, there's also the potential for that to be averted.
Volume 6 of The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor is available now, and Yen Press will release volume 7 of the manga on April 28, 2026. The anime is on Crunchyroll.

ARC Raiders items are plentiful. And I mean plentiful. There are so many of them, in fact, that keeping track of them all is nigh impossible, making the search for each individual one quite the dubious task.
One item, required for both quests and some awesome craftable items, is the Great Mullein plant. Ominous at first and with no clear purpose, this item is very important and more than useful, allowing you to make great medicinal utilities to help you in your trips topside.
Here is where you can find and obtain Great Mullein.
Where and how to find Great Mullein in ARC Raiders
Great Mullein is a lootable plant that grows in various locations across the four maps currently available in ARC Raiders. It's relatively uncommon, meaning not too many of it spawn at once, though you can get plenty during each individual run.
The best place to find Great Mullein in ARC Raiders would be the Dam Battlegrounds map, specifically two locations within it: the Red Lakes under the Testing Annex or the swamp biome around the Hydroponic Dome Complex. Every time you walk into these areas, it is almost guaranteed that you will find some Great Mullein plants waiting to be looted. Additionally, you can find Moss and other herbal items that could be useful to pick on the side.
You can also check out any location with the Nature tag, as most plants can spawn within them.
Great Mullein can also occasionally be purchased from Celeste. The item can further be broken down into Assorted Seeds, which is the currency needed to purchase items from Celeste. You can also craft Herbal healing items, Antiseptics, or turn the plants in for the Doctor's Orders quest (also requires Antiseptics, so Great Mulleins can do a 2-in-1 for you).

ARC Raiders, being a live-service always-online title, can and will suffer server issues from time to time.
So, if you are experiencing errors like "ARC Raiders online services are currently unavailable," here's how you can make sure it isn't just your connection messing up.
ARC Raiders server status - Online services are currently unavailable error, explained
Currently, there is no official way to check the status of ARC Raiders' servers. Developer Embark Studios maintains a high level of communication with players, utilizing official channels like X and Discord to signal to players if something is wrong on the back end.
However, you can utilize tools like Technobezz's dedicated ARC Raiders downdetector-esque status checker to see if players are reporting issues or outages.
At the moment, some players are experiencing the "Online services are currently unavailable" error when trying to log into the game, which could be an indication of problems on the game's side. To ensure it isn't your own connection messing up, do the following check-ups on your machine:
All in all, server crashes are a waiting game that usually resolves itself, and even if there isn't an official way to check up on them, it's likely going to get fixed pretty soon.

A First Foothold quest in ARC Raiders might have been named like a basic quest; however, it's one of the most complex challenges that I have come across.
This particular quest has four different parts, spread across the Blue Gate map. This guide will help you complete all the steps without any hassle, but expect to come across some tough human and ARC enemies alike.
Table of contents
ARC Raiders A First Foothold quest walkthrough
The quest includes completing the four following tasks in ARC Raiders.
Finding the Church in Data Vault
The Church is situated in Data Vault, which is located in the north of the map. I have marked the location as a blue box (and also for the following three tasks), and you'll find a building with a couple of satellite dishes on top. Your job is to rotate the satellite dishes by reaching the top of the roof. Use the crates along the building, and then jump onto the scaffolding that leads to the roof.
Follow the prompt to turn the dish to your left, and you'll complete the first part.
Finding the Observation Deck in Ridgeline
Our next task takes us to the eastern part of the map, where Ridgeline is situated. You'll find a truck blocking your path. Get on top of the truck, and you'll find an antenna-like structure with a yellow flag. Get close to the structure, and you'll get the option to stabilize the deck. This completes the second task.
Find the Comms Terminal in the Olive Grove
The Comms Terminal is situated at Oliver Grove, which is located in the southern part of the map. Keep moving towards the collapsed highway (part of the Reduced to Rubble quest), and you'll reach the location marked on this screenshot above. You'll find the terminal south-west of the region marked on the map. Get close to the terminal, and you'll get the prompt to turn it on.
Find Raider Structure at Trapper's Glade
The final task requires you to travel to Trapper's Glade to find a Raider structure and fix its roof. The structure can be found at the marked location on the screenshot above. Climb to the roof, and you'll be able to fix it and complete the A First Foothold quest.

ARC Raiders' world is a living one with other players, menacing robot enemies, and even special events you can find and participate in.
One of these events happens near the Launch Towers on the Spaceport map, and properly executing what you need to do means high-tier loot for you and your friends (or just you), and it involves finding Fuel Cells to power up a door so you can climb all the way up top.
Here's what you need to do to get it done.
ARC Raiders Fuel Cells Spaceport Launch Towers location
The image below showcases where the Fuel Cells spawn as part of the Launch Towers looting event on Spaceport.
The Fuel Cells can be found around several of these entrances that lead to the underground area, as shown in the green circles on the map image above. They sometimes spawn along the outer concrete edges of the doorways themselves.
Once you grab a Fuel Cell, you can then carry the Fuel Cell to the Launch Towers zipline and place them into a generator to power up the locked doors so you can ascend to the very top of the tower.
Once you're in the tower, you can loot whatever is inside. If you keep going higher to the rooftop, you will find a button that you can press that will begin the event and spawn a number of flying ARC enemies. Defeat the bots and then loot the high-tier chest next to the button you pressed to begin the event to find high quality gear and blueprints. This YouTube video shows what the encounter looks like.
If you miss out on the Fuel Cells or mess up the encounter, it happens on rotation every six hours or so: 4am CT, 10am CT, 4pm CT, and 10pm CT (or just six hours from around the current time you played), so regroup and come back to Spaceport then to try it again.
Once you reach the top, there's a high value loot chest available to rummage through on both towers, so use the zipline to loot both of them before heading back to Speranza with your quality gear. Good luck out there, Raider.

ARC Raiders is one hell of a game. A desolate world patrolled by homicidal robots and people trying to salvage whatever scrap they can in the hopes of living another day. It's brutal, pitting players against each other and placing those robots in between them. But for some, that sounds like sunshine and rainbows.
As with any game that comes out these days, a fraction of gamers form to advocate that the title should cater to them specifically, the artistic vision of the developers be damned. In PvP experiences like ARC Raiders, the loud minority usually asks for a PvE mode or for the PvP aspect to be removed altogether, because they can't handle losing their hard-earned loot just as they are about to extract.
This is a problem because, of course, some minds cannot comprehend loss or defeat and must be given a trophy even if they come dead last.
And while these kinds of folks are usually totally ignored by the majority of players, ARC Raiders dissenters have gotten so obnoxious, spiteful, and toxic that the community is actively clapping back, with moderators on the official subreddit banning "toxic anti-PvPers" who insult and call out people who participate in player-on-player action and actually shoot people they come across. Shocking! I know.
The fact that some players engage in PvP and always shoot on sight "does not mean you can come on this sub and insult them, suggest they are mentally impaired or mentally unwell," the sub's moderators said, adding you also should not "be toxic to them for any reason." Persecuting folks for enjoying an intended aspect of the game will be punished by a ban, the mods said.
And it's not just the moderators who have had enough. "You're not toxic for shooting people," said one player in a Nov. 1 post.
"I feel like this has gone completely in the opposite direction. No one is bullying you or being toxic by shooting on sight, no one is required to play the game the way you like to play," they explained. And they're absolutely correct: ARC Raiders is a post-apocalyptic survival game, where you have to do all you can to get resources and make it back in one piece. Living to see the next round is undetermined, and players are encouraged to fight their way through any and all resistance, no matter if human or robot.
Hell, you need a ton of loot to upgrade and progress through the game. Why shouldn't the guy shoot you on sight and take everything you have, perhaps doubling his loot or getting that one item he couldn't find in the world? It's a dog-eat-dog scenario, and friendliness is optional.
If you do not like having to deal with other players, either a) don't trust them in the first place, and be the one who shoots first, or b) don't play extraction shooters. There's Escape from Duckov if you want a solo extraction shooter experience, but by and large, they are meant to be played with or against others.
No game should bend over backward to appeal to a minor group of dissenting voices that wish to see it turn into something it is not. Nor should anyone be insulted for merely participating in what is meant to be the game's core loop in the first place.
Find another genre. Play other games. There is no shame in it.

With a Trace is one of many storyline quests that you can complete in the Blue Gate region of ARC Raiders, and it's a rather hard one to complete.
The gist of the quest involves you finding specific locations on the Blue Gate map. The exact locations, however, aren't displayed. That's where this guide comes in.
Table of contents
ARC Raiders With a Trace quest walkthrough
The With a Trace quest can be broken down into two parts.
Reach the Barren Clearing
The Barren Clearing is located towards the western part of the Blue Gate map. I have marked the location on the screenshot below for your convenience. Go south from the marked location, and you'll come across a gigantic ARC's debris to investigate.
The area has plenty of ARC enemies, including Snitches and Hornets. If you have Energy weapons, you shouldn't have trouble taking down these enemies. Infact, you should clear the area first before proceeding with your investigation. Doing so will also allow you to loot the fallen enemies for extra loot items.
Once done, you'll now have to reach the following marked location.
Find the Adorned Wreckage
The next part of the quest involves investigating the remains of a gigantic ARC wreckage. You'll need to travel to the southern part of Blue Gate, and I have marked the location in the screenshot below. You'll find a gigantic ARC at this location.
Go close to the ARC, and it will complete the investigation. Your quest will update to finding the communication device. The communication device is basically a computer on a table around the ARC's debris, and it will be highlighted by a quest marker. Stand close to the spot, and the quest will automatically update and end, rewarding you with loot and XP.

ARC Raiders' world and maps are not just any old levels from a game: they have their own stories, lore, and hidden nooks that one needs to pay special attention to.
One such location is the Dam Surveillance room, which can be unlocked and accessed either through looting and chance, or the Greasing Her Palms quest.
So, if you're just a raider looking to score some extra loot, or someone progressing through the game's quests, here is how you can find and unlock the Dam Surveillance room.
How to find the Dam Surveillance room and key
To be able to unlock the doors leading to the Dam Surveillance room, you're first going to need the Dam Surveillance key. This key can be found either through random loot, usually in residential zones, or by activating the Greasing Her Palms quest, which itself requires you to visit the room.
If you've cleared the quest or haven't yet reached it, I recommend you check out lockers, drawers, and other residential-type containers that usually have a better chance of dropping a room key. Keep in mind that you have to have exceptional luck to get the key, as these are some of the rarest random-drop items in the game.
Once you do have the key, you need to visit the Water Treatment Control building in Dam Battlegrounds, and go in through the main entrance (on the right side). Continue ahead and take two rights, which will bring you to a locked door that requires the key. Use the key and you'll enter the room, accessing some medium- or high-tier loot, which usually comes as components or even weapons.
Entering the room will immediately tick off that part of the Greasing Her Palms quest, allowing you to go to other maps and continue your journey.

ARC Raiders has plenty of blueprints to uncover, and unlocking them will allow you to craft plenty of items in your Workshop.
In ARC Raiders, Blueprints represent various crafting recipes that require the use of various materials. To produce the items, you'll need to get their applicable Blueprints, which include standalone products and upgrades alike.
Let's look at all the Blueprints you can obtain in ARC Raiders, and what's the best process of finding them in the first place.
Disclaimer: This is a work in progress.

All Blueprints in ARC Raiders
The table below has information about every Blueprint that we have found so far on our journey.
How to find Blueprints in ARC Raiders
Blueprints are loot items themselves, but there are different methods of obtaining them.
Finally, you can also gain Blueprints from fallen enemies. High-tier ARC enemies can drop Blueprints, and so can other humans on the map. You'll have to kill them before looting their loadouts, but be careful not to become their target instead.

Like any other shooter, ARC Raiders comes with tons of weapons to choose from, ranging from low-caliber close-range pistols to borderline hand cannons.
Of course, with such a wide array of guns, some will inevitably be better than others, especially in a game where weapon rarity plays such a major role. Some guns might be quite good, but the amount of effort required to obtain them is not worth the trouble, which is why we have crafted this list to ensure you focus on the best of the best.
So, here are our picks for ARC Raiders' best guns.
ARC Raiders gun tier list - from best to worst
S tier
The best guns in ARC Raiders are those that are very strong but also easily obtainable, meaning you won't have to spend a lot of time and resources hunting them down. The Ferro and Rattler are available from the very moment you boot the game up, and are quite cheap to purchase or craft, and can easily be found out in the wild. They're also commonly awarded with the free loadout, and given how powerful they are, that alone places them at the top of the list.
Both can wreck most ARCs, with the Ferro especially apt at destroying and damaging ARC components that'll inevitably bring them down to ground level.
The Renegade is a quicker, more versatile long-range rifle, equally capable as the ones above, albeit a bit harder to get (needs some upgrades and quests, but is ultimately worth the effort).
Both the Anvil and the Venator are pistols, albeit made of different stuff, the former a heavy-ammo-loaded hand cannon, and the latter a more versatile medium ammo pistol. They are equally capable out in the field and should always be considered as a sidearm, given that your primary can only handle so much heat.
A tier
The A-tier weapons are those that we found capable and effective at pummeling ARCs and other players, but they fell slightly behind the ones in the tier above. This is usually due to worse ammo or scarcity, which doesn't necessarily mean they're bad guns.
The Kettle is a prime example of this: it's silent, nimble, and basically free, but its reliance on light ammo and horrible ARC armor penetration places it a tier below. It's a gun that you should only take if you're in a squad, with each player having different weapons, preferably with stronger ammo.
Here we've also placed the Torrente LMG, a capable gun that you won't usually encounter in the game, but one that might be good to put in one of your squadmates' hands, especially against tougher ARCs like Queens. The same goes for the Equalizer and Hullcracker guns, which are two super-powerful and rare weapons that are best suited for raids against huge ARCs, and not PVP.
The Osprey and Jupiter sniper rifles are good choices, too, but oftentimes fail in PVP encounters or against bigger groups of ARCs, therefore making them better as support weaponry. Apreggio's burst fire mode makes it slightly more unreliable than full-auto counterparts, but it remains a good choice for players who prefer such a playstyle.
B tier
These two assault rifles do pack a punch, but weigh twice as much as any AR from the S or A tiers, are super hard to obtain, and can be quite detrimental to take into more challenging maps like The Blue Gate.
Overall, both Tempest and Bettina are capable and useful weapons, but compared to some others on this list, they're just not worth the trouble.
C tier
The game's sole two shotguns, the Il Toro and Vulcano are good guns, especially in situations that get up close and personal. They can do good chunks of damage to both ARCs and other players, but being slow to fire and short-ranged, they pale in comparison to most weapons on this list. What they can do well is be support weapons instead of, say, a sidearm, though the weight impact will significantly slow you down and leave you vulnerable to lightly-treading players.
ARCs can also more easily be destroyed by medium- and heavy-ammo-loaded guns from the S or A tiers and at a good range, while the shotguns require you to approach deadly enemies, thus posing a great risk to yourself.
D tier
Light-ammo weapons can be useful in ARC Raiders (just look at the Kettle, for example) but these two guns simply ain't it. They can barely do any damage to ARCs, require an incredible amount of ammunition to be any level of useful (thus hogging precious inventory space) and are overall worse in almost every regard than other weapons on this list.
They are cheap and easily obtained, that much is true, but that appears to be the only upside to these two guns, which you should definitely avoid and instead replace with something from the sections above.
