They don't call it a "Doom Match" because it's about speed-dating with your mortal adversaries, lads. Still, Netease are nothing if not bendable in the face of customer whim. The meet-ups in Sanctum Sanctorum have inspired them to release a full-blown non-combat map set in New York's Time Square, where 100 players can rub shoulders without yoinking each other's arms off. |

Festival of Football Captains promo is all set to make a grand comeback in FC 26 Ultimate Team, and we have the first set of leaks on social media.
Incidentally, the Captains promo has been present in Ultimate Team in the past, but EA Sports has avoided it during the last few years. However, the developers have remained tight-lipped so far about what to expect. Thanks to the leaks, we have a brief idea about which footballers are going to be featured in the promo.

I am expecting more names to appear as we get closer to the release date. A bulk of the cards will be added to packs. However, we should also be getting new items from SBCs and objectives themed around the upcoming promo.
FC 26 Festival of Football Captains promo release countdown
The Festival of Football Captains will be directly replacing the Primetime promo. It will go live on Friday, Nov. 14, and here's a countdown to keep track of the upcoming promo.
Once the promo is live, you can start opening as many packs as you can if you're aiming to find a few of the cards mentioned above. Obtaining one, however, will depend on your luck. To reduce that, you can complete various SBCs that will be live during the promo. Alternatively, EA Sports is expected to release more promo cards as part of tournaments and objective sets.
Rumors are that we should be having around 60 special cards in packs, and it will be interesting to find out how the general pack luck will be during the promo.

Where Winds Meet will go live in the middle of November across PCs and consoles, and this guide will help you keep track of the upcoming release.
Shaped as an open-world action-adventure RPG, Where Winds Meet will take you to the ancient land of Wuxia. The game blends Chinese folklore with action-based gameplay, and it will be released on PC and consoles simultaneously. Let's look at when you'll be able to start playing, based on your preferred platform.

Where Winds Meet release countdown
The release date of Nov. 14 has been public information for quite some time now. However, keeping track of the release will allow you to jump in the moment when Where Winds Meet goes live. The following countdown tracker will expire once the game gets released globally.
The countdown is based on the following timings.
While Where Winds Meet will be releasing on consoles, it's only coming to the PS5. However, there's no regional launch, which also means that there's no New Zealand trick to try. If you're on PC, you can currently wishlist the game for it to go live.
What to expect from Where Winds Meet
Where Winds Meet will be featuring a massive open world that reacts to what you do inside the game. From busy cities to green forests, you can expect to find varied NPCs and different weather patterns, along with a host of different POIs.
You will also enjoy varied combat based on your preferences. You can go for melee loadouts for hands-on combat, or switch back to ranged/stealth for more strategic options on the battlefield. You can also use mystic skills to defeat your enemies.
With in-house co-op, you can enjoy the campaign on your own or team up with up to three more players to defeat the enemies together. It will be interesting to see if Where Winds Meet can catch the fans' attention amidst a crowded release week, which also has Call of Duty Black Ops 7 coming out on the same day, and Escape from Tarkov's Steam launch the day after.

Enshrouded's latest aptly named update, Wake of the Water, introduced an entirely new mechanic: water. There are tons of new areas to explore and treasures to find all underwater, but before you can go about diving great depths, you first need Rice. Why? Well… it's a long story.
Rice is one of the newest crafting ingredients in Enshrouded, right up there with Shiitake Mushrooms and Paper Reeds. Unlike the latter, though, you can only find Raw Rice in the Veilwater Basin, Enshrouded's newest biome. It took me quite a while to find this pesky grain, but the location where I first discovered it has quite a bit for you to harvest.

Rice location in Enshrouded
As of writing, there's only one place I know where rice spawns in Enshrouded: a small farming village to the east of Lake Heartblood called Orville. If you travel to Orville, you'll find a ton of various crops on the west side of village at the location marked on the map below. The lower farming beds house Raw Rice and Rice Seedlings, which you can then take back to your own base and grow on your own.
How to get Cooked Rice in Enshrouded
If you're like me, you probably browsed through all of the new recipes available at each of the townspeople's workshops after the Wake of the Water update hit live servers. One of the most enticing of these new recipes is Sushi—and no, I'm not just jumping on the bandwagon. It's one of the only few recipes in the game that allow you to lengthen the amount of time you can spend underwater, and it requires Cooked Rice.
When you pick up Rice for the first time, you'll automatically unlock the Cooked Rice recipe at a Cooking Station. This recipe takes five minutes to complete and requires the following ingredients:
Consuming Cooked Rice on its own grants you a 21-percent increase to your melee damage for 50 minutes. But of course, just like in real life, it's always better to combine your ingredients instead of eating them individually. If you take your Cooked Rice to the farmer, Emily Fray, you'll find a handful of recipes that offer much better effects than just eating the ingredient by itself.

There are a handful of recipes worth cooking using Cooked Rice, all of which can be done with the help of the farmer. Refer to the table below for each of the recipes and their effects:
How to grow rice in Enshrouded
Okay, so clearly you're going to need a lot of rice if you want to become Embervale's next big sushi chef. The best way to get as much rice as humanly possible is to grow your own. That way, you won't have to keep running back to Orville anytime you run out.
Rice isn't like other crops, though; you can't just stick it in the ground and call it a day like with tomato plants or strawberry seeds. Rice Seedlings need covered ground—ground that's topped off with a nice layer of water—to grow.
The simplest way to do this is to carve out a flat trough in the ground using the "Remove" option of the terrain tool in the Construction Hammer. Then lay down your soil. Use a Water Dispenser, which can be crafted at a Workbench, to then fill the cut-out section of earth with water. This will create a mini-pond-like effect, keeping your crops covered with water. Then plant the Rice Seedlings into the ground.
If you did it correctly and your Rice Seedlings are happy, they'll turn from brown to green within a couple of seconds after being planted. Give them some time and when you come back, you'll be able to harvest Raw Rice from your very own rice farm. If you want to speed up the process, be sure to use Fertile Veilwater Basin Dirt instead of any other type of soil.
