Players roaming in StarRupture

There are plenty of environmental hazards in StarRupture, and the eruptions caused by the explosion of Ruptura are arguably the most dangerous ones.

Ruptura is the moon of Arcadia-7, the planet where you have to fight hard to survive. Ruptura explodes routinely, and that causes massive eruptions that completely wipe off any life form caught in the open. This guide will make it easy for you to survive the phenomenon. Moreover, the firestorm has certain benefits for you.

How to detect an Eruption in StarRupture

While ruptures or eruptions happen routinely, it's impossible to keep a countdown. However, there are some obvious signs. First, the rupture will always create a tear in the sky, which you can detect by looking at the clouds. The tear will get bigger, and a massive fireball will appear in the skies.

If you find the Wave Warning notification on your screen, your immediate response should be to find a shelter. The pop-up appears when a rupture has already begun. Hence, pay attention to your screen if you didn't bother checking out the sky.

How to survive an Eruption in StarRupture

The only known way of surviving an eruption is to find a shelter and stay inside. When Ruptura explodes, the subsequent firewave will eliminate every kind of life form in Arcadia-7 that's out in the open. To save yourself, find any closed shelter. The best choice is your habitat.

Once the event is over, don't go outside immediately. The air temperature outside will be high, and it can kill you easily. The temperature will gradually subside, and you'll be able to explore the world once again.

Benefits of Eruptions in StarRupture

As I said, you can take advantage of the ruptures in StarRupture. They're the only source of obtaining rare items like Meteor Hearts and Ignitium that are left behind. Once the world of Arcadia-7 is restored, you won't be able to find them.

Underground caves are also accessible after Ruptura explodes. The entrances usually remain sealed, so an eruption allows you to enter them (and loot different items). These firewaves can also wipe bugs from POIs like outposts, making it easy for you to raid and gain various loot.
