Pokemon Center Stocks 30th Anniversary Collection With Pikachu Faces

The Pokemon Company International announced that the online Pokemon Center storefront is now selling a 30th anniversary merchandise collection that features stylized versions of Pikachu's face. This is an updated version of a logo that also appeared for the 25th anniversary, only with the numbers 3 and 0 appearing on the character's cheeks in place of the 2 and 5 from that year. If people buy at least one item from this collection, regardless of price, they will get a metallic, shiny sticker of the logo while supplies last or by March 4, 2026, whichever comes first.

There are 14 pieces of merchandise in this Pokemon 30th anniversary collection. Most of them feature the latest logo set against black backgrounds. The least expensive item is a set of 65 card sleeves to be used with the trading card game for $7.99. The most expensive is a unisex black sweatshirt for $59.99.

Here's the full list of items that are available to choose from:

  • Black Sweatshirt (Adult Sizes Small to 4XL): $59.99
  • Black or Teal T-Shirt (Adult Sizes Small to 5XL): $24.99
  • Crop Top Sweatshirt (Women's Sizes XS to 3XL): $34.99
  • Enamel Pin: $9.99
  • Flat-Bill Hat (Adult Size): $24.99
  • Insulated Tumbler: $29.99
  • Lanyard with Pin: $34.99
  • Navy Tank Top (Adult Sizes Small to 4XL): $19.99
  • Ornament: $16.99
  • Spiral Notebook (200 pages): $19.99
  • Stemless Glasses (Set of Two): $19.99
  • TCG Card Sleeves: $7.99
  • TCG Double Deck Box: $12.99

Here's how all of those items look, as well as the bonus sticker that is a free gift with any purchase from this collection.

The actual 30th anniversary of the series falls on February 27, 2026. That's also when the New York and San Francisco Nintendo Stores will hold special events. Ahead of that, there will be an ad during Super Bowl LX on February 8, 2026.

The Pokemon 30th Anniversary Collection merchandise is available via the Pokemon Center store now, and Pokemon Day 2026 falls on February 27, 2026.

Next Final Fantasy Tactics Mini Figures Are Ramza, Agrias, Goffard

Square Enix and Taito announced the characters who will be part of the second Final Fantasy Tactics Miniature Figure Collection, and volume two includes Ramza Beoulve, Agrias Oaks, and Goffard Gaffgarion. It will appear in Japanese arcades in the middle of February 2026. While they aren't showing up on the Amazon storefront for a worldwide release, Aitai Kuji is selling them for ¥3,000 (~$19.25) each and shipping them in March 2026.

Like the first run, there are only three characters in the Final Fantasy Tactics Miniature Figure Collection volume two, and Ramza again appears as a fixture. Here, he's wearing his Lugria mercenary armor, while the original featured him in his more formal Beoulve attire. Agrias and Goffard are in their standard costumes. All three are armed and holding swords. They'll each stand at about three inches (eight centimeters) tall.

Here's how they all look:

As a reminder, the first run focused on characters as they initially appeared in the game. In addition to the other Ramza, his sister Alma Beoulve and Delita Heiral were part of that collection.

The Final Fantasy Tactics Miniature Collection volume two figures of Ramza, Agrias, and Goffard will debut in Japan in February 2026. Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles is available worldwide onthe Switch, Switch 2, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.

Kagurabachi Chokonose Figures Are Chihiro Rokuhira and Togo Shiba

Shueisha announced that Sega's first two Kagurabachi Chokonose figures will be of the manga's star Chihiro Rokuhira and his ally Togo Shiba. These will both be available starting at the end of July 2026 as prizes in crane games and Japanese arcades. The company's figures like this do tend to appear worldwide at various storefronts like Amazon and occasionally as prizes at places like Round 1, so we could see them later in 2026 everywhere as well.

The Sega Chokonose figures are sort of like noodle stopper ones, as they're designed to show characters in sitting positions. Both of them sit at about seven centimeters tall (under three inches). Chihiro is sitting straight up and down, with his arms crossed over his chest. He's also holding the Enchanted Blade Enten, with it in its scabbard in his right hand, and seems alert. Togo is in a more casual pose. His legs are crossed, and he's not holding any weapons.

Here's how both of them look:

While we have started to see Kagurabachi figures before, they tend to be of Chihiro. For example, there's a Nendoroid of him on the way. This is one of first instances of a supporting cast member like Togo getting this kind of merchandise.

The Kagurabachi Chokonose Chihiro Rokuhira and Togo Shiba figures will launch in Japan in late July 2026. The manga is handled by Viz Media outside of Japan. There's no anime adaptation yet.

A demonic vista in Nioh 3.

Nioh 3, much like other Soulslikes, features co-op and multiplayer where players can summon each other into their worlds or for particular fights.

But those of different platforms aren't often included in the bargain, as many times games tend to lock players to a particular console or the PC without allowing for any intermingling.

So, here's everything you need to know about crossplay co-op in Nioh 3.

Nioh 3 crossplay - Co-op and multiplayer, explained

Formidable demonic boss in Nioh 3.
This boss would've been much easier with some help. Screenshot by Destructoid

At the time of writing, Nioh 3 does not feature any form of crossplay. Those who are on the PS5 will have to match with like-minded folks, while the PC crowd is stuck on their island of superiority, with no one else to accompany them.

This is a real shame and a huge downside for the game, which is otherwise a tremendous experience, as I have noted in my recent review. Co-op and multiplayer have been done incredibly well when you do have matching platforms, and it would have been a great addition and quality-of-life functionality to have crossplay in Nioh 3 as well.

Considering how much time and effort Team Ninja put into refining and polishing just about every aspect of the game, I'm at a loss as to why they didn't include crossplay. Nioh 3 is intended to receive significant post-launch support, however, so that the crossplay function could come with a potential Xbox release somewhere down the line.

In the meantime, you'll only be able to invite friends into your world if you are on the same platform, which at the moment includes only the PS5 and PC.

The Sarpedon-D spread shot hand cannon, seen in Collections.

Destiny 2's Sarpedon-D hand cannon functions almost like a pocket shotgun, and its god roll means it's perfect for bruiser builds. In close range, it can take down foes rather easily if you're accurate, and that's before it buffs your melee ability.

Sarpedon-D is another entry in the list of the distinctive spread shot hand cannons, this time in Arc flavor. Naturally, this comes with access to Arc-based keywords like Jolt and Bolt Charge, but it keeps the solid core that makes its archetype tick: its buckshot shot pattern and unique perk pool for a primary weapon.

Here are our god rolls for Sarpedon-D in Destiny 2, based on perk data from d2foundry.gg.

Sarpedon-D PvE god rolls in Destiny 2

The Sarpedon-D spread shot hand cannon in Destiny 2, with the tier five ornament.
The tier five version doesn't look bad either. Screenshot by Destructoid

  • Barrel: Barrel Shroud, Smallbore, or Corkscrew Rifling
  • Mag: Flared Magwell, Tactical Mag, or Alloy Mag
  • First perk: Proximity Power, Eddy Current, or Trickle Charge
  • Second perk: One-Two Punch, Trench Barrel, or Voltshot

Since this hand cannon is Arc-based, our Sarpedon-D god roll brings a little bit of the lightning element to the foreground, with some utility sprinkled

Proximity Power is our top pick if you need more juice in your close-range builds. While enemies are nearby, final blows with this weapon improve your melee stat. Since Sarpedon-D is meant for proximity encounters, you'll rarely be outside of this perk's radius, so this one's a freebie.

Two other options surface if your melee stat is just fine the way it is, and both hail straight from Arc 3.0. Eddy Current and Trickle Charge can mitigate Sarpedon-D's annoyingly long reload. If you're not using Arc or only have access to Amplified, the first one is more useful. If you have access to Bolt Charge, Trickle Charge might be more seamless.

There's also the utility perks with Impromptu Ammunition and Lead From Light, giving you some ammo generation on the side. You can use it to fuel special weapons like Mint Retrograde or Psi Aeterna IV, which saw changes to the ammo economy, or to lean into the close-range aspect and keep your Praxic Blade ammo full.

A Warlock in Techsec armor holds a Holofoil Phoneutria Fera in the Shooting Range.
Phoneutria Fera was the first big Spread Shot hand cannon, but the principle is the same. Screenshot by Destructoid

All perks in Sarpedon-D's fourth column have their use case, but few are enough to appear in our god roll. One-Two Punch buffs your melee damage if you land a shot with all projectiles in the spread, so this is a must-have whether you're using throwing knives, your fists, or arcane magic. The buff is smaller than it would be on a weapon with special ammo, but you don't have to worry about running out of bullets.

Trench Barrel works in the opposite way: hitting a target with your melee boosts this weapon's damage. One-Two Punch is the better option in most scenarios.

Regular builds have access to Arc sweetheart Voltshot, but Rolling Storm also shows up in the perk pool. The first one gets you some area damage, but the second helps you stack up Bolt Charge. In practice, the choice between these two hinges on your loadout and preference.

In the damage department, Desperate Measures also shows up here for a longer-lasting damage boost that doesn't require melee hits, and it's not a bad option.

Proximity Power fits right into Sarpedon-D's theme, but it pales in comparison to the other options. If you're running a melee build and ability energy is not a problem, One-Two Punch is the undisputed king. If you need sustain, though, this perk might do the trick—though that's a problem better solved through buildcrafting so that you don't miss out on this perk.

Ruby Residence in ARC Raiders

Shrouded Sky is going to be the newest update in ARC Raiders when it goes live later this month.

Part of the Q1 roadmap that Embark revealed earlier in January, Shrouded Sky will feature plenty of new content for the players. It's expected to be bigger than the recent Headwinds update, but Embark has been pretty tight-lipped about it so far.

ARC Raiders Shrouded Sky expected release date

Embark hasn't announced a release date for Shrouded Sky. Typically, Embark announces an update's release date closer to its launch. There's an update coming next week when the store refreshes after six days (as of writing). However, I firmly believe it will be too quick for Shrouded Sky.

https://twitter.com/ARCRaidersGame/status/2014744954094965188

Two dates appear to be possible. Embark has typically been releasing updates on Tuesday. This pattern is consistent for both Cold Snap and the ongoing Headwinds updates. I would mark two dates on my calendar: Feb. 17 and Feb. 24. The former feels more likely given the availability of the Expedition project 2. However, I won't rule out the Feb. 24 timeline either at this point in time.

What can we expect from Shrouded Sky in ARC Raiders

While we won't be getting any new map in the upcoming update, here's what we know to be confirmed.

  • New map condition: I guess that this could be the Toxic Swamp map modifier. The Toxic Swamp modifier was expected to be present in the ongoing season, but it seems to have been delayed. The new map condition will likely replace Bird City, which is currently available on the Buried City map.
  • New ARC Threat: We received the Shredder and the Matriarch in Cold Snap. Headwinds doesn't include a new ARC. That could change in Shrouded Sky. It could be something smaller, something bigger than the Matriarch, or a bit of both.
  • Player Project and Raider Deck: The Goalie Deck was free and fantastic, and there will be a new one available when Shrouded Sky goes live. A new project is also expected after Trophy Display expires, along with a new expedition.

Finally, there will be a map update and a new expedition as announced on the roadmap. It's hard to predict what the exact map update will look like. It could be something similar to Cold Snap when part of the maps were completely frozen.

For the time being, ARC Raiders fans will have to wait patiently and aim to complete the Trophy Display project that offers some fantastic rewards.

The undead just never give up, do they? And that's fine, because there's XP to grind.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7's Zombies mode is set to be invigorated with new content as part of season two, including a new map, mode, Scorestreak, seven weapons, and multiple events for the co-op PvE CoD fans to sink their rotting teeth into.

While there's no new round-based map in season two, there's still plenty for Zombies fans to look forward to. Here's everything we know that's coming to BO7 Zombies this season.

BO7 Zombies season 2 patch notes

New Survival map

The Mars location from Astra Malorum is the latest Survival map in BO7 Zombies, confining players to just a few areas, including the boss fight arena from the round-based map. Uber Klaus will appear periodically as the map's mini-boss.

New mode

Cursed Survival ratchets up the challenge in BO7 Zombies, which uses a Black Ops 3-inspired points system. Players must unlock Relics to use in the mode, increasing the difficulty to make it harder for players to reach high rounds. Equipped with only a pistol and a limited HUD, it's for the most dedicated Zombies grinders.

New Scorestreak

BO7 Zombies Lockshot scorestreak

The Lockshot Scorestreak allows you to lock on to multiple targets at once before dispatching them, sounding reminiscent of the Smart Pistol from Titanfall.

Starting Room returns

The BO6 limited-time mode Starting Room is here for good in BO7 with season two. Players will be locked to the starting area on a number of maps, and there are unique rewards to earn on both Ashes of the Damned and Astra Malorum, with more maps coming.

"Survive against the horde in Starting Room, where the crew is trapped in the starting area of a Round-Based Zombies map, armed only with the resources and machines available in the area," Activision explained. "All doors are sealed, and there are no avenues of escape."

New weapons

All seven new weapons in season two will be available to level up in Zombies, either at launch or mid-season:

  • REV-46 SMG
  • EGRT-17 assault rifle
  • HS11-SAW melee weapon
  • GDL Havoc grenade launcher
  • SG-12 shotgun
  • Voyak KT-3 assault rifle
  • Swordfish A1 marksman rifle

New GobbleGum

Coming at mid-season, the new Turncoat GobbleGum will make Zombies fall in love with you:

  • Zombies Description: Nearby zombies are charmed.
  • DOA 4 Description: Nearby zombies are temporarily turned to do your bidding.

Limited-time events

Several limited-time events, including the dreaded leaderboard events, are available in season two:

  • Escalation Directive Event: Earn up to eight Universal Camos by completing Weapon Class Camo Challenges across all modes, including Zombies.
  • Mars Leaderboard Event: Your highest round achieved on Mars Survival determines your position on a 30-player leaderboard. Also earn rewards for completing challenges. Up to 13 rewards, including two Universal Camos and a Weapon Blueprint.
  • Dead Ops Arcade Leaderboard Event: Your highest score in DOA 4 determines your position on a 30-player leaderboard. Expect to earn rewards for completing challenges as well. Up to 13 rewards, including two Universal Camos and a Weapon Blueprint.

Further events will be added in the mid-season update.

BO7 multiplayer wall jump

Call of Duty's live service season is kicking things into high gear for season two of Black Ops 7 with a massive load of content.

Whether you want new weapons, maps, modes, or to sweat it out in the Ranked ladder, season two has a little bit of everything across multiplayer, Endgame, Zombies, and even Warzone for the curious CoD player to check out.

Here's everything we know so far about season two, launching in BO7 on Feb. 5.

BO7 season 2 patch notes

8 multiplayer maps

Four maps at launch and four maps at midseason with a mixture of both new and classic remasters makes this one of the more compelling seasons in CoD multiplayer in some time.

On launch day for season two, new maps Sake, Nexus, and Torque will be joined by Black Ops 2 classic Slums. Then, in Season Two Reloaded some time in March, new map Mission: Peak will be accompanied by some favs: Cliff Town (remake of BO2's Yemen), Grind (BO2 DLC map), and Firing Range (originally seen in Black Ops 1).

7 weapons

Black Ops 7 REV-46 SMG

Need more tools to dominate public matches with? This season's got plenty, and they're all free. At launch, there's the REV-46 SMG, EGRT-17 assault rifle, and HS11-SAW melee weapon as part of the battle pass. The GDL Havoc grenade launcher will also be ready to roll from the get-go as part of weekly challenges.

In-season, the SG-12 shotgun, Voyak KT-3 assault rifle, and Swordfish A1 marksman rifle will be unlockable for free as part of seasonal events.

Ranked Play

The competitive ladder mode for BO7 arrives alongside season two, bringing with it a slew of rewards to earn while climbing the ranks. The mode is similar to the Ranked Play that's been seen in the last few CoD titles, where placement matches, Skill Rating, and rank divisions are all familiar.

BO7 Ranked Play will use the same maps and ruleset as the Call of Duty League, so only the sweatiest of sweats will be lining up to rank up and earn rewards like operator skins, blueprints, calling cards, camos, and more.

For more details about Ranked Play, check out the full list of info on the CoD blog.

New Scorestreak

A new Scoresteak for multiplayer gamers is coming in the mid-season update as a weekly challenge unlock, and it's called the Lockshot:

"A sleek smart pistol with 3 rounds that can lock onto multiple targets," Activision described. "A single trigger pull eliminates every locked target in quick succession."

New and returning game modes

Black Ops 7 Safeguard mode

Safeguard and Overdrive return to join the rotation of game modes in season two, alongside themed limited-time modes and playlists like Solo Hearts Moshpit and Third Wheel Gunfight for Valentine's Day, and Luck Confirmed for St. Patrick's Day.

At mid-season, a new mode called Gauntlet will join the fray, combining multiple modes into one:

"Similar to the Pentathlon mode in Black Ops 6, two teams of six compete through a series of modes. The first team to reach the Score Limit wins," Activision said. "The modes in question are Team Deathmatch, Domination, Kill Confirmed, Hardpoint, and an additional [CLASSIFIED] mode. The mode changes every two minutes, and modes are chosen at random."

Endgame updates

The PvE Endgame mode continues with a good amount of post-launch support in season two. This includes a new Skill Track, a new public event called Guild Strike that will spawn nightmare zones "featuring extreme challenges more difficult and dangerous than a current Tier IV area."

Here's what's been revealed about the new Skill Track, Eagle Eye, which is based around buffing critical hits and headshots:

  • Increased Crit Damage: Critical hits deal more damage.
  • Big Hit: Increases Critical Damage dealt to full health enemies.
  • Last Shots Plus: Deal more damage when your weapon is low on ammo.
  • Rampage: Getting rapid kills briefly increases weapon damage with that weapon.
  • Aim Faster: Aim down sights faster.
  • Armor Breaker: Stun and damage enemies when breaking enemy armor.

There are two new abilities to use, too:

  • Sentinel Protocol (Major Ability)

    • Call in a modified Guild robot to fight your enemies and assist your team. Can revive you and your teammates when downed and inflict a small area of effect attack when swarmed.

  • Blood Burner (Minor Ability)

    • Spawn a mysterious motorcycle good for traversal and combat. Running over enemies charges a special area of effect attack.

There's even more Endgame content coming at midseason.

Limited-time events

Several limited-time events have already been announced for season two, in which players can unlock rewards for free, like several of the aforementioned weapons.

The events are called Escalation Directive (eight new weapon camos to unlock) and Hunt or Be Hunted. There are also a number of Zombies events, including several leaderboard events that most players are not big fans of. For more on Zombies, check out the BO7 season 2 Zombies patch notes.

Blackout mode coming mid-season

The return of Black Ops 4'sBlackout mode, CoD's first battle royale foray, is teased within the patch notes and set to arrive in mid-season, sometime in March.

"Mid-Season introduces a brand-new Battle Royale experience with the arrival of the Avalon map in Call of Duty: Warzone," Activision said. "Built from the ground up, this is a new Mode that draws inspiration from Call of Duty's Battle Royale origins, Black Ops 4 Blackout."

More details are coming at a later date.

7 new guns

Warzone is all about the guns, and there's plenty of new Black Ops 7 weapons on offer in season two for everyone to unlock for free:

  • REV-46 SMG

    • Battle Pass

  • EGRT-17 assault rifle

    • Battle Pass

  • HS11-SAW melee weapon

    • Weekly Challenge reward

  • GDL Havoc grenade launcher

    • Event reward

  • SG-12 shotgun

    • Event reward

  • Voyak KT-3 assault rifle

    • Event reward

  • Swordfish A1 marksman rifle

    • Event reward

Rebirth Island updates

BO7 Warzone Rebirth Island winter variant

Snow has overtaken the Resurgence map Rebirth Island in season two, and other changes include new points of interest to discover, along with tweaks to existing ones.

  • New POI: Turbine

    • "A large-scale Turbine along the north shore of the island has been developed by Guild forces, west of Industries, east of Dock, and due north of Prison. Offering enhanced rotational possibilities for the Operator, the exterior platforms and concrete bay house a large sulfur vat and a wall of "NOVA 7" canisters. Access the door controls and enter a small, windowless control room under the vat."

  • Unmarked POI: Outpost

    • "Enhanced loot, combat, and traversal opportunities are available in this unmarked point of interest that lies east of Stronghold, and southwest of Living Quarters. Previously a rough hillside promontory with difficult-to-navigate and exposed pathways, you can now seek additional cover at the jetty with three docking bays. Further up the slope is a raised cargo bay and a SAM battery on either side of the Outpost itself. This Comms edifice with a prototype laser cannon and radar dish offers robust protection and sits above a locked bunker."

With the changes, there are also some new features, including players leaving behind their footprints in the snow, better sight lines, and snow ramps for players to navigate the island uniquely with vehicles.

Ranked Play: Resurgence

While Rebirth Island is getting some changes, Ranked Play on Resurgence is coming to the Haven's Hollow map. The familiar ranking system of Skill Rating, skill divisions, and a bunch of rewards to be earned is back in Warzone for BO7's new Resurgence map.

For more info on how Skill Rating and other Ranked Play facets work, check out the CoD blog.

New Killstreaks

New Killstreaks can soon be found on the map or at Buy Stations:

  • RC-XD
  • Smoke Screen

    • Smoke Screens are found as loot and purchased at Buy Stations, and when called in expect a single payload of five shells that detonate into smoke clouds in a slightly offset row, with each cloud lasting a few seconds, much like a smoke grenade, though it doesn't impact your health.

Changes to Perks

Perk slot 1 is getting a slew of changes, including multiple perks being replaced with new ones.

  • Field Medic

    • Replaces Veteran

      • "Reviving teammates is faster and more impactful, restoring momentum when it matters most. When you revive an ally, they immediately receive an inserted armor plate from their inventory and a brief movement speed boost to help them reposition."

  • Drill Instructor

    • Replaces Grenadier

      • "After sprinting for a short duration, you'll begin regenerating health, allowing you to stay mobile without a reliance on cover."

  • Surveyor

    • Replaces Cold-Blooded

      • "When nearby opponents interact with Buy Stations or activate Contracts, they briefly appear on the map, offering insight into enemy positioning and intent. UAVs you deploy cover a larger area and your mini-map is zoomed out, always giving you a broader view of the area of operations. Also highlights downed enemies through walls within closer range."

Weapon buffs and nerfs

The meta will be shifting thanks to new weapons, but also changes to existing ones. Buffs include the AK-27 and MXR-17, while the M15 Mod 0 has been nerfed. For more info on all the balancing changes, check out the CoD blog.

Limited-time modes

Along with the teased Avalon Blackout mode, Warzone's season two will include limited-time modes like Loaded Resurgence, Rush Resurgence, Extreme Resurgence, and the return of Iron Gauntlet, where players have higher health, and loot is scarcer.

Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined promo image

Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined has some interesting items to find as part of the main story, and it involves three Shiny Bottles.

You'll be tasked with finding these bottles for Uncle Pike in Rainbow Cove. However, finding all three can take some time if you're unsure about where to look. This guide will provide you with all the details you might need, along with all three locations.

How to find all Shiny Bottles in Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined

Once you've recovered the Sizzling Stone, you'll be asked to finish another task for Pike before you can advance the main story. The quest for finding the bottles begins after finishing the First Trial and the Shadow Puzzle. Go to Uncle Pike in his house on the eastern corner of Estard.

Let's look at where you can find all the bottles. In the image above, you'll find that there are four map pins. There are more bottles on the map than you need (three). I have still marked all four locations if you want to get an extra bottle.

First Bottle location

The first bottle is the easiest one to find, as it's just outside Pike's House in Estard. You'll find three crates by the door to his house in the corner, next to the wall. Interact with the spot to find your first bottle.

Second Bottle location

The second Shiny Bottle is inside the well next to the Tavern. When you find the well, there will be a couple of ladies. Speak with them, and you'll be able to climb down. Once you're down in the base, you'll find the second bottle. Pick it up, and use the rope to climb back to the surface.

Third Bottle location

Tavern in Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined

Our final Shiny Bottle is located in a barrel by the tavern wall. Once you come up to the surface from the well, go south, and then go left. You'll find four crates (three together and one separate) by the tavern wall. The final bottle is hidden at this spot inside the barrel; break it to find the item that you're looking for.

Once you collect all three Shiny Bottles, go to Rainbow Cove to complete Pike's request, which is located on the eastern part of the island. Before you return the bottles, make sure to fill them up with ocean water. You can only return the bottles after they're filled with water.
